YouTuber PewDiePie melted fans’ hearts when he and his girlfriend of eight years Marzia Bisognin tied the knot earlier this week.
With an intimate ceremony in London’s Kew Gardens, the pair had a gorgeous woodland backdrop for their big day, inviting family and close friends – including some fellow YouTubers.
Keeping the ceremony private, the couple only revealed they’d got hitched the next day when Felix shared photos with fans and wrote: ‘We are married!!! I’m the happiest I can be. I’m so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman.’
Gatsby’s Jewelers estimated that the wedding cost around £64,000 – from Marzia’s dress and Felix’s suit to the venue hire, food, and the photo booth.
After the cat was out of the bag, the newlyweds and their guests started blessing us with photos galore from the big day.
Felix’s mum Johanna was the first to share a sweet snap, showing the YouTuber posing with both parents.
The Swedish star went on to share photos of himself and his new wife beaming at each other, walking down the aisle as their guests blew bubbles instead of throwing confetti, and posing together on the beautiful staircase, laden with foliage.
The 29-year-old couldn’t resist sharing more of photographer Jessica Kobeissi’s snaps, telling fans: ‘Our wedding day was the best day ever! Really couldn’t have asked for a better wedding.
‘Everything was perfect and I’m just so happy. I want to thank all the guest that came for bringing so much joy and happiness on our special day. (PS there’s many more photos to come).’
Meanwhile, Marzia (or the new Mrs Kjellberg) shared some sweet pictures of the couple and all their guests stood with sparklers in the evening, explaining: ‘At midnight we ended the night with a sparklers send off. Everything about the evening was so magical. ✨.’
JackSepticEye (Seán McLoughlin), GirlGamerGab (Evelien Smolders), Roomie (Joel Berghult), KickThePJ (PJ Liguori), and BoyInABand (Dave Brown) were some of the pair’s YouTube pals who were in attendance.
PJ and his girlfriend Sophie Newt couldn’t resist posting a photo booth snap of the two couples having a ball, while Jack wrote a sweet message for the pair.
‘We spent yesterday celebrating Felix and Marzia’s beautiful wedding! It was an amazing day and I couldn’t be happier for them,’ he said. ‘They are two of my favourite people in the world and I feel very blessed to have been invited to their special day.
‘Felix and Marzia, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. You’re perfect for each other.’
The married couple first met in 2011, with them going on to live for stints in Sweden, Italy, and Los Angeles, before settling down in Brighton in the UK.
They got engaged during a romantic getaway to Japan in 2018, with PewDiePie mentioning the wedding shortly before the big day to tell Marzia he ‘couldn’t wait’ to be her husband.
