Bars and Melody have had to explain themselves to fans after their fundraising effort drew outrage.
The duo, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent last year, created a Pledge Music page in order to raise money to create new music.
When fans of BAM, made up of Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, donate money they will receive a gift or a prize in return for giving a particular amount.
From what fans revealed on Twitter, the more expensive options appear to have included a day out with Bars and Melody for £5000, while £16 would get you a ‘follow’ on Twitter and a direct message from them.
