They may be the favourites to win the whole series but Cor Glanaethwy are certainly making Britain’s Got Talent pay for their presence in this weekend’s final.

The Welsh choir have wowed judges and fans of the show alike and, with 167 members, they are not cheap to accommodate.

With ITV and Talkback Thames having to fund everything from refreshments and accommodation through to transport and criminal background checks, a six figure sum has already been spent, which has almost obliterated the show’s budget.

Who would have thought Ninja Warrior UK could be hit by a fixing scandal?!

The obstacle challenge has been dealt a blow by the claim that one of its finalists didn’t actually qualify for the final round.

Free runner Katie McDonnall absolutely smashed her semi – the second of the two – and flew straight into a place in the final.

However, it’s been claimed that she actually competed in the first semi final round, and that her time wasn’t fast enough to qualify.

It’s been alleged her footage was edited into that of the second semi so that she could be put through to the final.

Gary Barlow is clearly angling for a career as wedding singer once his popstar days are over.

The Take That singer has made a surprise appearance at yet another couple’s nuptials.

He serenaded Chelsee Cousins and Dean Siadankay with a rendition of ‘A Million Love Songs’ at their reception in Liverpool on Friday evening.

The delighted groom posted a link to a video of the emotional moment on Twitter and wrote, ‘as if this has just happened!’

Formby Hall, which hosted the wedding party, also shared a video of Gary singing on their Facebook page with the caption: ‘Gary strikes again. Congratulations to Chelsee and Dean.’

These stunning wedding dresses are different from your regular bridal attire – in that each of them is inspired by the costume of a Disney Princess.

The new collection – called Disney Fairy Tale Weddings – comes courtesy of wedding dress designer Alfred Angelo, and channels everybody from Cinderella to Frozen’s Queen Elsa in its eight-gown collection – taking in an awful lot of chiffon and frills en route.

It’s not confined to big frothy frocks either, as there’s even a vivid blue outfit inspired by Aladdin’s Princess Jasmine – which is far removed from traditional bridal gear.

Adele’s become something of a recluse in recent years, but the singer made a rare public appearance to watch her hero Stevie Nicks perform.

The 27-year-old attended the Fleetwood Mac concert at London’s O2 Arena and posted a pic of herself hanging out with the 67-year-old backstage.

‘So … tonight was THE best night of my life,’ the ‘Someone Like You Singer’ tweeted. ‘I love you Stevie Nicks!! The queen of melodies! Thanks for everything x.’

Stevie was clearly thrilled to see Adele and apparently gave her a shout out during the show.

In the 1994 episode Homer Badman Homer caused himself trouble after visiting a candy convention and nicking a very rare gummy in the shape of the Venus De Milo.

But things were about to get much worse.

The gummy got stuck to the backside of the babysitter he was taking home, and when he attempted to retrieve it she screamed sexual assault.

It was the last time we got to see ninja hopefuls face plant a tank of freezing cold water.

The final two stages of the obstacle course competition were brutal, with the spider jump, the giant wheel, the salmon ladder and the unstable bridge just a few of the tricks throwing contestants off their game.

Many a trier didn’t finish the course. It was tense. It was emotionally draining. It originally started off with 250 contestants, but by the final they had been whittled down to 14 for stage one and just four for stage two, with the hope that one would make it all the way.

That was the hope, anyway.

They took part in a reality TV show in order to combat their obsessive compulsive disorder, but for Lesley and Tuesday Turner it became so much worse.

The mother and daughter appeared in series two of Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, which aired in 2013, and now spend more time cleaning than ever before.

Lesley, 54, and Tuesday, 24, say that they use twice as much cleaning product and work 14 hours every day making their house spick and span.

‘They have traumatised us,’ Lesley told The Sun on Sunday, ‘The producers swabbed all kinds of public places to show us where the most germs were.

‘They believed we should confront our fears but it just made us realise how filthy places were outside. It has made things worse at home too.

‘I’m exhausted. I spend around 14 hours a day cleaning and only manage three hours’ sleep a night.’
