Michelle Keegan may have plans to become a mother in the future but that doesn’t mean she’s not scared about the prospect.
The former Coronation Street actress appears to have expressed her fears about having children, just months after her husband, Mark Wright, revealed he can’t wait to be a dad.
In October, Michelle, 30, asked her Twitter followers if they would be watching any horror films for Halloween.
Actress Chanel Cresswell jokingly replied: ‘I’ve got a horror film for you,’ alongside two emojis of baby bottles and a laughing face.’
Perhaps revealing her concerns with starting a family, Michelle responded: ‘You ain’t wrong!’ with a string of laughing faces and an octopus emoji.
It’s possible that the octopus emoji refers to Michelle’s worries of her changing body as octopus can mean a woman’s genitalia in slang terms.
Maybe her husband Mark can settle her nerves as he recently revealed his excitement at starting a family.
Speaking to The Sun in August, the former Towie star said: ‘We say we’re going to try [for a baby] every year but something comes up with work.
‘So it’ll be Michelle filming in South Africa and then I got the job in Los Angeles – so we think, right, we’ll try next year. It’ll be around December or January, we’ll talk about it and we’ll go from there.’
The Extra TV presenter also told the Daily Mail that it was his ‘dream’ to become a dad, adding: ‘I can’t wait to be a dad, I love kids. Hopefully for me that will be something that happens to me in my life in the future.’
Watch this space for baby Wright.
In 2017, Michelle, who once said she wanted four children, opened up about the couple’s baby plans in an interview with Women’s Health.
The actress said: ‘We’ve not planned anything and realistically nothing can happen right now because I’m too busy, but I’ve always been broody. I love kids and I want four, so hopefully in the near future.’

The Boardwalk Empire star claimed the 66-year-old raped her twice in December 2010, and then began harassing her.
In a lawsuit filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, she states he exposed himself to her at a hotel in Beverly Hills the next month, when she tried to confront him about it.
In documents seen by Deadline, the case file reads: ‘Plaintiff alleges that Weinstein opened the door, wearing an opened bathrobe thereby prominently exposing his penis to Plaintiff in a taunting manner.’
The 34-year-old also claimed Weinstein tried to make her have a ‘sexual encounter’ with himself and another woman at his hotel room.
‘Plaintiff told Defendant Weinstein to stop stalking and harassing her and quickly left the vicinity of Weinstein’s room feeling embarrassed, scared, shocked and humiliated,’ it continued. ‘She noted that Weinstein appeared angered by her rejection and denunciation.’
She claims he damaged her career by $60million (£46m), with New York Police previously looking into her accusations.
Weinstein’s lawyer has denied all claims, branding her allegations ‘preposterous’.
‘It is our understanding that the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office carefully reviewed Ms. De la Huerta’s claims of sexual assault by Mr. Weinstein many months ago and made a conscious decision to reject her as a complainant for obvious reasons,’ Benjamin Brafman said in a statement
‘We also believe that her newly minted version of events including her new California claims are equally preposterous and unfortunately, the product of an unstable personality with a vivid imagination.’
Paz alleges Weinstein first pressured her for sex following the Blue Valentine premiere, at the end of 2010, and threatened her career if she didn’t sleep with him.
The lawsuit states he raped her when she refused, and then began harassing her with phone calls for two weeks after.
She then says she agreed to see him at her home to put a stop to his behaviour, on 23 December, and he raped her again.
The following month, the actress claims she tried to confront him during awards season, when he exposed himself to her at the door of his room, at the Four Seasons Hotel, before inviting her in for a sexual encounter with another woman, who was also in the room.
A year after the incidents, she was axed from Boardwalk Empire, something she believes Weinstein was involved in after he was pictured with Martin Scorsese – director and executive producer on the series – just before her firing.
Vulture claims Paz has also named the Weinstein Company and Four Seasons Hotels, Ltd, in her suit.
Some of the biggest names in Hollywood came forward to accuse the disgraced movie producer of inappropriate behaviour – including rape, sexual misconduct and sexual harassment.
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Weinstein and Martin Scorsese for a comment.

Not to be confused with 2016’s woeful horror flick of the same name, The Forest is a gruesome survival game with plenty of depth and no shortage of scares. If you’re at all familiar with the genre then you’ve probably heard of The Forest already, as it’s spent a prolonged period in Steam’s early access programme before officially launching back in April. It’s only now, however, that The Forest has been made available on console, arriving exclusively on PlayStation 4.
You play as one of the only survivors aboard a plane that comes crashing down in the middle of nowhere – a remote stretch of untamed wilderness, enveloped by dense woodland, marshes, rivers, and mountains. Your son is also spared but as you begin to regain consciousness you see him being dragged away by a naked, gore-soaked figure.
That’s about as much direct narrative as you can expect from The Forest. There’s nothing here that resembles a linear plot, though there are a string of breadcrumbs that help fill in some of the history surrounding this perilous peninsula. These, combined with the intro cut scene, actually go beyond what most survival games do – simply dropping you into the game with nothing to explain why you’re there in the first place.
The Forest keeps hand-holding to an absolute minimum. Within seconds of starting the game you’re set free, crawling from the wreckage with nothing but an axe, a few cans of soda, and whatever leftover plane food you gobble down before leaving the battered fuselage behind. Those first 20 or so minutes will be spent gathering sticks, stones, logs, and leaves to craft the bare necessities – a brief three-step tutorial explaining how to do so.
Animals including crocodiles, boars, and sharks can pose a threat but it’s the cannibals you need to be wary of. These ghoulish creatures pour from an underground network of tunnels at night alongside mutants, multi-limbed monstrosities that look as though they’ve come straight from John Carpenter’s The Thing. There’s a decent spread of ranged and melee weapons to fight back with but don’t expect the first person combat to feel particularly dynamic or engaging.
Organically, you’ll start to get a feel for the game’s combat system, as well as its mesh of survival mechanics which monitor your health, thirst, and hunger, before starting to think of the bigger picture. Exactly what that is depends on a) your imagination and b) how much time you’re willing to sacrifice.
Whether it’s The Forest, Rust, Don’t Starve, Conan: Exiles, or the myriad other games of this ilk, they all follow the same pattern. Crafting becomes the main focus as your initial makeshift basecamp begins to morph into something much larger, where you’ll be safe from the horrors that come for you at night.
There’s a surprising amount of depth and customisation, with some structures being purely decorative, some self-sustaining (such as plant beds and rain collectors), and others used to defend your territory. Thankfully, no matter how grand your designs are, the game’s intuitive building interface is simple to use, allowing you to sketch out a 3D blueprint then fill in the blanks by depositing the required resources. It’s a clever construction system and one that eschews a dreaded mess of menus to sift through.
Whatever your megafort ends up looking like, actually finishing it will take a fair amount of busy work. Literal hours of mundane button-bashing, extracting resources, then ferrying them back to base, and all while staying adequately fed and watered. This grind is endemic within the survival sandbox genre and can be off-putting, even though developer Endnight has made efforts to streamline some of the more menial tasks.
The only way to truly offset this is by taking the game online, inviting up to three fellow survivors to join you. It’s the best way to experience The Forest and whether you’re the host or a joining player, your progress can be saved and picked up later. Therefore, instead of surviving just a handful of days these sessions can be revisited, growing into communal projects you can work on for days and weeks.
There’s something special in that, though other sandbox survival games have been doing the same for years now. In the time it has taken The Forest to finally step out of beta there have been plenty of DayZ and Rust-a-likes, all similar in design and all looking to cash in on the genre’s growing popularity.
Keeping its own game in the oven was a risk for Endnight but it’s one that has ultimately paid off. While inherently grindy and familiar in premise, The Forest boasts a much higher level of polish than its competitors, along with crafting systems and survival mechanics that are more intuitive and approachable. It may not mark a new evolution in the world of survival sandbox but it is certainly one the most refined frontrunners.
The Forest
In Short: A brutal, albeit familiar, survival game that’s thoughtfully designed and elegantly refined, and as a result easily the best game of its type on PlayStation 4.
Pros: Intuitive building and crafting mechanics embedded within a world that feels truly dangerous. Co-op multiplayer is well implemented.
Cons: Significant in-game progress demands hours of tedious resource gathering and grinding. Few genuinely new ideas.
Score: 7/10

Sinead Tinker is facing an impossible decision over the health of her baby as her cancer treatment progresses in Coronation Street.
The mum-to-be is struggling with the dilemma of how the chemo might affect her unborn baby, as well as how awful it makes her feel afterwards. Her priority is her child, and she’s in utter turmoil while Daniel is putting pressure on her to keep forging ahead with treatment.
Daniel is completely unaware that she cancelled the second appointment after she said she’d had to rearrange, and has no idea she doesn’t want to go back. But the more he pushes her, the more she withdraws into herself.
To take her mind of things, Sinead goes for a homeopathic massage where she meets a young mum to be who talks about the fact she had cancer too but stopped chemo and swapped it for homeopathy, also adopting a strict diet.
Sinead’s interest is peaked, and she decides she wants to learn more about the alternatives – perhaps she doesn’t have to have another session of chemo at all.
Sinead invites her new friend Steff around for a cup of tea and they talk about all things homeopathy and it becomes clear that Sinead’s head is as far away from chemo as it could be. Could she risk her own life for the sake of saving her baby?
Kevin Feige is king of spilling the tea, and has done just that by giving us some intel on the upcoming Captain Marvel film, as he also dished some deets on The Eternals, too.
He’s good like that.
The MCU studio president started off by giving us an insight into what we can expect of Carol Danvers, as we get our first glimpse of Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, on the big screen next year.
Admitting the history of the comic book character goes back quite a long way (well, her first appearance was in 1968, so he’s not wrong) and is confusing as heck, he added they’ve narrowed down a comic era of the woman they’ll be riffing off in the film.
He told Bionic Buzz: ‘The one we’re doing is based on Carol Danvers and in particular the Kelly Sue DeConnick [comic] run, which has only been around the last few years but is really quite inspirational for us.’
So while the film, out in March, will be based in the 90s, we will be getting, perhaps, a more modern telling of the character (DeConnick worked on the series from 2012-15) compared to diving deep into her old-school Marvel psyche, as she first appeared in 60s.
The studio is also working on The Eternals, which is said to be hitting screens in 2020, believed to be set a million years ago (how’s that for a jump?) about the mystical Celestials – who now we know were behind the creation of the Infinity Stones – and Deviants, who would go on to battle.
Epic.
While the studio boss wouldn’t give too much away, seeing as we still do have a while to go until things go into production we’d imagine, he did compare the film to Guardians of the Galaxy, which didn’t have much hype before hitting screens and, as we now know, became a runaway success.
‘[I can say] very little when it comes to Eternals, but I will say your reaction about not being familiar with The Eternals is perfect because most people weren’t familiar with Guardians and believe it or not there were people who were not familiar with Avengers or with Iron Man,’ he said.
Hold up – there was once a time when people weren’t familiar with Avengers? Well we strain to remember that.
He added: ‘So for us, it’s finding great stories whether people have heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in as an amazing way as we can.’

We’re midway through The Apprentice 2018, and the firings are starting to pile up.
And so far it’s not been a great year for the boys – with just three of them remaining in the process after a spate of sackings in the boardroom.
By contrast, only one of the girls has packed her bags and left so far, following the very first task of the series.
But just who has faced the finger of fear and been given their marching orders by Lord Sugar?
Here’s who we’ve bid farewell to so far…
Week One – Sarah Byrne
Former Shameless star Sarah was the first casualty of the boardroom after failing to come up to scratch in the opening task, which saw the candidates showing off their buying skills in Malta.
Week Two – David Alden
Tax advisor David was the first of the boys to depart the process in week two, as the teams were tasked with creating a new comic book character. Despite his fondness for writing childrens’ stories, his efforts on their comic Benji’s Space Adventures failed to take off with Lord Sugar.
Week Three – Frank Brooks
Having narrowly escaped the chop in week two, Frank was sent packing just a week later after failing to pass muster in the doughnut selling task.
Week Four – Alex Finn
This year’s youngest candidate, 21-year-old Alex Finn, lasted just four weeks on the show after he was fired following his team’s failure in a task which saw them selling at a bodybuilding expo.
Week Five – Rick Monk
Week five saw the candidates having to design and sell a new women’s shoe – but it was Rick who got the boot after his team crashed and burned with their graffiti-plastered urban heel (the memorably named Fleekies).
Week Six – Kurran Pooni
Having finally got his chance in the project managing hotseat in week six, Kurran was shown the door after his team’s marketing campaign for a budget airline failed to take off. Which wasn’t entirely surprising considering they called it Jet Pop.
When is The Apprentice on?
The series continues on Wednesday night on BBC One at 9pm.

On a special episode of Katie’s Quest Red reality show My Crazy Life, the mum-of-five apologises to Kris as she confessed: ‘I was a c***, my head got turned.’
Speaking to her ex, Katie said: ‘I want to apologise to you. I’m sorry about everything that happened, but it happened. I wasn’t well.
‘I was in The Priory and was just talking about things, men, life. I’m in there because of what men have done to me.’
Kris interrupted: ‘Yeah, but I never done any of that to you’, with Katie replying: ‘I know, exactly. We were getting on really, really, really well, until basically, I was a c***, my head got turned. That was it, I went.’
She added: ‘Not that I regret going with the other guy, because that’s obviously something I needed to do in my life. I did it, what can I do, it’s part of my life.
‘I can’t say I regret being with Pete, I can’t say I regret being with Kieran, because I’ve got kids out of it.’
Kris explained that he knew she had cheated, and that’s why he broke it off.
When he questioned why she didn’t regret ‘fucking up a perfect relationship’, Katie said: ‘I can’t change what happened. It made me realise what I’d lost.’
Personal trainer Kris told her that he went to the police station and waited overnight for her, as he didn’t want her to be alone.
This clip came as Katie appeared to propose to her ex during a 1am Instagram spree.
She captioned one image: ‘When you realise you lost someone through a hard time and want them back’, accompanied by a quote: ‘Fuck. I want you back. So bad it hurts and it keeps getting worse. I realised I made a mistake… but now it’s too late. I miss you. I long for your touch and your kiss. But I know I’ll never get you back. I’m sorry. I love you.’
Another quote she shared read: ‘So, will you, um, marry me?’

The cast of Coronation Street swapped the knicker factory for a shoe factory as they united in support of former castmate Paula Lane.
Paula, who played Kylie Platt until 2016, was supported by her former onscreen family for Kinky Boots’ first night in Manchester.
Jack P Shepherd appeared on the red carpet, posing with cast from the show, and Lucy Fallon, Tina O’Brien, and Faye Brookes all followed suit for the production’s debut.
The production features music and lyrics from Cyndi Lauper, and is set around a shoe factory in Northampton. Based on the book by Harvey Fierstein, it follows the story of Charlie Price, who is struggling under his dad’s expectations to run the family business, the factory.
Its future looks unstable until he makes an unlikely friend in drag queen Lola, who needs some sturdy new stilettos for a performance.
Paula will play Lauren, the factory worker who helps turn the failing shoe factory around.
The actress played David Platt’s wife Kylie, who was stabbed to death in 2016.
Kylie died in David’s arms after getting stabbed when she went to intervene in a fight at the kebab shop.
David desperately tried to save her life, but his efforts to save her proved to be futile and he was left without the love of his life.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are dealing with their own devastation after losing their Malibu home in the California wildfires.
But the Hollywood couple are still considerate of others and have donated a generous $500,000 (£385,600) to help with relief efforts in the local area.
Such big hearts.
Earlier in the week, Liam, 28, revealed the heartbreaking moment he returned to their two-storey property after the Woolsey Fires ripped through Malibu. Footage shows the house now in ruins while a ‘love’ sign that previously lit up has been completely torched.
Despite their ordeal, Liam and Miley, 25, have generously donated half a million dollars to The Malibu Foundation via Miley’s The Happy Hippie Foundation.
A rep for Miley announced: ‘Miley and Liam lost their home but are very grateful to be safe along with their animals!
‘Their community and state are very special to them and they want to give back to the place that has created so many beautiful memories for themselves and others.’
The statement continued: ‘These funds will be used for those in financial need, emergency relief assistance, community rebuilding, wildfire prevention and climate change resilience.’
Liam posted a photo of their scorched house with a devastating caption, which read: ‘It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love.
‘Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires. I spent the day in Malibu yesterday and it was amazing to see the community pulling together to help each other out in any way they can. Malibu is a strong community and this event is only going to make it stronger.
‘Thankful for the all the great local guys that helped keep smaller fires out around my property. I love u guys. I love you Malibu. Thank you to all the hero firefighters around California. It’s going to be a journey to rebuild. Stay strong all.’

And, the Padmaavat actress’ sister, Anisha Padukone has decided to change her Instagram name to commemorate their wedding day.
Ahead of their nuptials, thought to be at Villa del Balbianello, the 27-year-old edited her handle to ‘#Ladkiwale’, which means she’s on the ‘girl’s side’ in the wedding.
She also added a little bride emoji to her name as proof.
Sibling goals or what?
Anisha’s 111k followers went into meltdown over her new moniker, which we’re guessing will change as soon as the wedding is done.
‘You’ve changed your twitter name to #ladkiwali this is sooooo sweet of you,’ a fan commented.
‘I love how she changed her name to #ladkiwale sister of Deepika fyi,’ another said.
While an impressed Instagram user simply added: ‘Yassssss #ladkiwale.’
Only around 30 people were lucky enough to score an invite to their big day, including Shah Rukh Khan and Harshdeep Kaur.
Ours must have got lost in the post…
However, the pair are thought to have implemented very strict ‘no phone’ and ‘no social media’ policies, to make sure their big day is as private as possible.
According to reports, the singer shared a snap of herself and husband Mandeep Singh posing in front of Lake Como on social media, with the caption: ‘What a beautiful day’.
She was reportedly asked by the happy couple to take said picture down very quickly after…
The 31-year-old also uploaded a photo of herself on a plane on Instagram, telling her 214.8k followers: ‘Off to a very special place for an even more special occasion. Arrivederci.’
Smooth, Harshdeep…

Claudia Colby is in for a shock after Maria Connor makes a big decision about their business partnership in Coronation Street.
Monday night’s episode saw Audrey make her legendary speech which resulted in her flinging a bunch of flowers in Claudia’s face. But the hair stylist is fuming when she realises the drunken video has gone viral.
Maria, on the other hand, was taken with the speech – despite it being drunken, it was heartfelt and saw Audrey brand her ‘like a daughter’ and wish her all the happiness going forward.
After rekindling their relationship, Maria has a realisation.
With something stirred in Maria, she makes a big decision about her future in tonight’s episodes. Fed up of having the gruff Claudia breathing down her neck, she approaches Audrey with a proposition – she cares about her too and thinks the two of them go into business together and essentially stitch Claudia up.
Audrey agrees and there’s only one thing left to do – tell Claudia.
And naturally she doesn’t take it well.
Maria tells her she’s decided to pull out of the salon deal and her new business partner will be Audrey instead.
But Claudia is quick rain on her parade and points out that her decision will have ramifications as poor Rita had invested her money in the new place and now thanks to Maria, she won’t be getting it back. Will Maria go ahead with her plan or will she disappoint Audrey by staying put?
Piers Morgan wasn’t buying claims we should ditch the word ‘gentleman’ because it’s outdated and old fashioned, branding it ‘feminist nonsense’.
The 53-year-old presenter and co-host Susanna Reid were joined by journalist Rebecca Reid, presenter Melinda Messenger and Penny Lancaster on Good Morning Britain, to discuss whether the word should be abandoned to make the qualities applicable to both genders.
Speaking on the show, Rebecca Reid said: ‘My problem with it is it seems weird to slap a gender on a certain set of characteristics because we should all be aiming to be decent, kind, supportive and loving.
‘I think it’s really unfair that men are expected to be the ones who do all the caring and providing, when in reality in a relationship both genders should be doing that for each other.’
Piers, however, wasn’t exactly on board, saying: ‘Has it crossed your mind that we’d like to be the hunters and providers and gentlemen of life? And lots of women like their men to be like that?
‘They don’t actually buy into this radical feminist nonsense, that they’d actually like a man who goes out of his way to stand up when a woman walks in the room or to open a door?’
Keen to stand firm, Rebecca added: ‘In a relationship, lots of people need to have both sides of it, but realistically all humans need to be cared for sometimes.
‘There’s a massive male mental health crisis in this country which I genuinely believe is at least partially caused by the fact we expect men to fulfil certain gender roles.’
After Piers branded it ‘nonsense’, Melinda said: ‘I don’t think that’s to do with being a gentleman. I think being a gentleman is about the qualities of kindness, respect and thoughtfulness – it’s about thinking about another person.
‘They are human qualities, they’re for all of us and without it we’d have a real cold, hard disconnected world.’
Susanna was also concerned about abandoning the word, saying: ‘Rebecca, I would also say I’m a feminist, but I do sometimes like just being looked after.’
‘I like being looked after too,’ Rebecca replied. ‘There’s nothing wrong with being looked after, but you should also look after the person you’re in a relationship with.
‘It should go both ways. The woman should be the “gentleman” sometimes.’
You can catch Good Morning Britain weekdays on ITV at 6am.
Cristiano Ronaldo jetted into London on Monday morning, like, first thing in the morning, with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his son Cristiano Jnr.
Since then the threesome have enjoyed some (freezing) days in the capital, having jumped on a private jet straight from his win in Milan with football team Juventus.
It’s not all that clear what his main point of business is in the UK, hey perhaps he’s just keen on a getaway, however, last month the footballer opened a restaurant alongside Enrique Iglesias and tennis champ Rafael Nadal.
And we know he was here to check it out last night, taking his fam for a meal. We hope he picked up the bill. He is worth $450 million (£350 million), after all.
All work and no play makes 33-year-old Crist a dull boy, though, and the star looks happy as Larry on Tuesday night, as he beamed while enjoying a dinner with his partner and eight-year-old son.
Treating his best to a meal at Zela on the Strand, the three of them gathered around a table for the meal, as they appeared to chat away.
On their way out they posed for an adorable family photo, sans Cristiano’s twins Eva and Mateas, one, and his daughter with 23-year-old Georgina, Alana, also one, as the couple wrapped an arm around Cristiano Jnr.
Hey, the footballer knows great advertising and it’s a great ad for his noshery, which claims to be Meppon cuisine: ‘Mediterranean produce with Japanese techniques’.
They were gussied up, with Georgina in a black, strapless dress and Cristiano looking resplendent in a burgundy blazer, before the two took in La Bayadere at the Royal Opera House.
The model said her dreams came true as she took to Instagram to say: ‘What a spectacle to be able to enjoy La Bayadère by the hand of Marianela, my Argentine compatriot and all the dancers.
‘They have made me enjoy a wonderful evening. Dreams come true … Thank you, my love. @cristiano.’
The pair, however, didn’t appear to have brought Alana along to London for her first birthday on Monday, with both parents taking to social media to wish their little one a grand day.
Georgina wrote in Spanish on Instagram: ‘On 12-11-17 was born the little girl of the house. Today Alana Martina celebrates one year of life.
‘A year full of love and happiness. One more blessing in the wonderful family that we have built with so much love.
‘We are fortunate, we are blessed by God and very grateful to him for what we have in life.
‘Thank you all for your support always, the affection that you show us and for the congratulations so beautiful for Alana. Many affection and a lot of love for you!’

Former EastEnders star Jack Ryder is set to join the cast of Holby City.
Remember Walford fan favourite Jamie Mitchell, who ruined everyone’s Christmas in 2002 when he was suddenly killed off? Well actor Jack Ryder, who played the tragic teen, is set for a soap comeback.
He’ll join Holby City as consultant surgeon Evan, the boyfriend of Chloe Godard, played by fellow newbie Amy Lennox, who arrives in town to try and get his girlfriend to take their relationship seriously.
Chloe is a doctor at neighbouring hospital Capel Cross, and arrives to help her mother Ange, played by Dawn Steele, with a tricky patient.
Their first scenes will air next year.
Jack said: ‘I am delighted to be joining Holby City and look forward to working with such a talented group of people. I can’t wait to give a voice to this exciting new character and serve a show that people love.’
Amy added: ‘I’m thrilled to be joining Holby as Chloe Godard and working with such an amazing cast and crew over at BBC Elstree. Chloe has some really great storylines coming up that I can’t wait to share with you all. So excited!’
Simon Harper, Executive Producer of Holby City and Casualty, said: ‘We’ve been talking to Jack for a while to find the right part for him on Holby and his powerful, nuanced audition for Evan blew us away. He’s both a household name and a superb actor, and fans who remember him as Jamie in EastEnders are in for a big treat and quite a surprise seeing him in this very different role. Evan is a complex, alpha surgeon who makes some major waves in Holby.’
Jamie Mitchell was Phil Mitchell’s godsun and had been in an on/off relationship with Sonia for much of his time on the show.
He was killed off in tragic scenes on Christmas Day in 2002 when Martin Fowler hit him with the car after being distracted by his mobile phone.
Neil Gaiman has claimed that Doctor Who altered Toby Whitehouse’s script for the show.
The 58-year-old author, who wrote an episode for the BBC science fiction series back in 2011 called The Doctor’s Wife as well as the Nightmare in Silver two years later, met Toby at a reading of their scripts.
The pair, who came close to collaborating for the show, explored each other’s work and Neil revealed Toby’s was altered – and not for the better.
Speaking to Deadline, he said: ‘We definitely liked each other and we liked each other’s work.
‘Because I was writing Doctor Who, I had the privilege of reading Toby’s script, which I felt on the whole was rather better than the episode, I got to read the raw script before people who weren’t Toby started messing with them.’
Neil also reported that he fell out of love with Doctor Who after writing on his second episode Nightmare in Silver as his involvement was minimal.
Telling The Telegraph last month, he revealed: ‘I did two episodes of Doctor Who over the last decade, one I loved and it won awards, one I do not love and it is widely regarded as having some good bits in it but being rather a curate’s egg.
‘As far as I’m concerned both of the scripts were of equal quality but the biggest differences were having a say in what actually got to the screen, a say in what got changed, a say in what got rewritten, a say in the colour scheme, a say in all those things.’
The current series of Doctor Who, which stars Jodie Whittaker as the thirteenth Doctor, has been so far been a huge success, with more girls tuning in than ever before.
Doctor Who continues on Sunday at 6.30pm on BBC One.

The 59-year-old telly judge reportedly wants to spruce up the series, which has now been running since 2004, by bringing back a celebrity version.
It was claimed that Simon ‘wants to do some different things with the X Factor – shake up the format a bit.’
Dan Wootton said: ‘There has been talk of the return of a celebrity X Factor.’
When asked if presenter Lorraine Kelly would be up for going on the show if it reboots, she quickly shot it down saying: ‘Don’t be ridiculous.’
The celebrity version of the talent show, called X Factor: Battle of the Stars, screened way back in 2006 and lasted eight nights back-to-back.
Nine stars participated on the programme, including radio host Chris Moyles, I’m A Celebrity meme queen Gillian McKeith and Hollyoaks actress Nikki Sanderson, with Simon, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh on the judging panel.
EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin won the show for the Over 25s category, with rugby union sporting star Matt Stevens landing runner up and radio presenter Chris Moyles in third place.
Simon revealed the news that X Factor would be returning on Tuesday, telling The Sun: ‘We’ve just been offered an extension on both shows because of the 16 to 34-year-old audience.
‘We could probably do three years or five years. It makes a lot of money.’
‘Fortunately the young audience has actually grown this year and all the advertisers and the sponsors want that income on a Saturday.’
The programme is averaging 1.3 million viewers in the 16-34 demographic and a share of 42%, compared with Strictly, which is averaging 1.1 million and a 37% share.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.35am on ITV.

However, a local newspaper in New Zealand, the Gisborne Herald, mistook Spike for Stan and reported that the director had died on their frontpage.
The headline read: ‘“Characters first, superheroes next”: Spike Lee dies at 95,’ although they did use a photo of Stan.
Reacting to the gaff in good humour, Spike posted the newspaper cover with the caption: ‘God Bless Stan Lee. Me? Not Yet. And Dat’s Da “I’m Still A Live, And Strivin'” Truth,Ruth. YA-DIG? SHO-NUFF.’
The Instagram photo also included a mock obituary from a Twitter user who mixed titles of Spike’s iconic films, such as Do The Right Thing and Malcolm X, with legendary Marvel characters, including X-Men and Spider-Man.
‘Spike Lee, beloved creator of Professor Malcolm X, Spider-Inside Man, and ‘Do the right’ Thing,’ the joke read.
Assuring fans further of his good health, Spike then posted a photo of himself bike riding on a beach and revealed he’s been hard at work.
The director said: ‘Werkin’ From Can’t See In Da Mornin’ ‘Till Can’t See At Night. Woo Lawdy.’
After the newspaper clipping went viral, the Gisbourne Herald editor, Jeremy Muir, addressed the error and admitted his team were ‘embarrassed’.
Jeremy told Stuff: ‘People are having a bit of fun with it. That’s fine. It’s just really embarrassing. It’s a human mistake.’

And Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, has urged homeowners to keep themselves protected as looters took advantage of the chaos.
Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-two delivered a stark warning for those trying to heap more misery on the ordeal.
Alongside a snap, which showed a group of armed men posing with a sign which read: ‘Looters will be shot on site,’ he explained: ‘It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis.
‘While the Malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes.
‘Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into Malibu. #DefendYourLand #2ndamendment.’
Speaking about why he decided to get involved, he told Backgrid: ‘I’m okay, I just came from my property and it could’ve been worse. A lot of it’s damage.
‘So many communities here that are trailer parks, suburban working class houses that are completely destroyed. People have lost everything, and we have some of them staying at our house right now.
‘It’s just really sad, you know, because people give their lives to get to a place like this.
‘I’ve lost a lot of belongings, but I haven’t lost everything.’

Kaley Cuoco has already got her eye on some items from set, as she prepares to film her final scenes as Penny in The Big Bang Theory.
The star has revealed her tears at learning this would be the final season of the CBS show, after 12 seasons, but not long after she dried her eyes she got to work thinking on what she can bag from the prop department.
The series is mostly set in the group’s apartment, and earlier this week Kaley revealed she was keen to flog an artwork that’s been hanging on the wall since the pilot.
‘There’s a piece of art in the living room set – if you’re looking at the set from the audience it’s to the left – it has a big doughnut and a robot… it’s been there since the pilot and I’m going to take that home,’ she told Entertainment Tonight.
‘It’s always in my view and I’ve been looking at it for so many years. I think I won’t know what to do unless I’m looking at it, so it needs to be in my living room.’
After admitting she ‘cried for a week’ after the team were told the news by show boss Chuck Lorre, Kaley appeared to have come to terms with her impending unemployment.
Ha, we’re just joshing – the actress is one of the most popular in tinseltown so we can’t imagine she’ll be enjoying lazy days on her Californian ranch for long.
However, in the immediate aftermath of the finale, lazy days on her ranch seem to be the prime plan, as she gets excited to spend more time with her menagerie.
‘I think a lot of horses, apparently a lot of pigs, a lot of bunnies. And being home with my husband. I’m excited about that,’ she added of what she’ll do post-show. ‘My production company [has] a lot of projects on the horizon, so I’m very excited to put on my producer hat and kind of go down that path.’
Kaley – who will be voicing Harley Quinn in the new DC Universe series – recently said she was ‘heartbroken’ by the end of Big Bang.
‘When we heard the news, I went through a terrible week,’ she previously told USA Today. ‘I was so upset. I cried every single day.’
The Big Bang Theory is the longest-running multi-camera series in history and Kaley has played her alter ego since the show’s inception in 2007.
She stars alongside Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Raunch, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg.
The Big Bang season 12 is expected to debut on CBS in May 2019.

It is the companies first online multiplayer game and the ninth addition to the Fallout franchise.
It has been a highly anticipated title this year but many fans have been skeptical of a multiplayer-only Fallout game.
Despite petitions by fans it will still only be available as an online multiplayer experience and won’t have a single-player campaign.
Developers have ensured that the online gameplay will have many of the same features that have made the previous games so popular, but with changes to make them more suitable to an online setting.
The SPECIAL progression system returns with slight changes to how it works and the open world map is around four times bigger than Fallout 4.
If you’d prefer to just play alone or with your friends then there may eventually be a way around it for you.
Initially there will only be public servers available which players will be assigned to, and this makes encountering other players unavoidable.
Plans to add private servers have been hinted at and could be added to the game some time after the launch.
One issue that some players may worry about is potential server issues that affect most online games from time-to-time, and Fallout 76 already faced server disconnect issues shortly after the game’s full release.
