Harry is blessing us all with his latest cover (Picture: Rolling Stone)
Harry Styles has landed himself another Rolling Stone cover and it’s fair to say this one is a doozy.
Amid reports he was tipped for the role of Prince Eric in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid (but apparently turned it down, we don’t know what’s what anymore), the rock star has gone and done a fresh magazine shoot.
And boy is the fandom hot under the collar.
We should add we are in the fandom. We are hot under the collar.
With only his shirtless torso, a multitude of epic tattoos and his Cheshire Cat grin taking pride of place, the 25-year-old looks set to talk about some curly topics in the music glossy.
According to the headline, we’re talking: ‘Sex, psychedelics, and the secrets of stardom…’
Ooft this is going to be good.

Harry is owning 2019 (Picture: FilmMagic)
The magazine gave us all a teaser of what’s to come as it shared the cover to Instagram on Monday night.
‘Here’s a first look at our upcoming cover featuring Harry Styles,’ the caption read.
‘You can pick it up on newsstands September 3rd. Photograph by @ryanmcginleystudios.’
And we will.
According to the mammoth number of thirsty comments populating the right panel of the pic, this is going to fly off the shelves.
Is it any coincidence another coverline on the magazine, about climate change mind you, read: ‘Can we Survive Extreme Heat?’
One fan went all out as they wrote: ‘Getting me pregnant in the middle of the work day??????’
Another issued a challenge to us all: ‘Harry styles is the most gorgeous man in the f*cking world and nobody can’t change my mind.’
Others were merely proclaiming the second coming of his solo tunes with comments of HS2.
This isn’t Harry’s first rodeo – he starred on a cover back in 2017, but two years later it seems he’s turned things up a notch. And we’re ready for it.
The former One Directioner channeled all things brilliant from the 70s when filming. And we sure hope his tunes are just as fabulous.
It’s as though the Sign Of The Times hitmaker has been swallowed up in Elton John and Lou Reed’s wardrobe to be spat back out into a pile of glitter. In the best way possible.
From the sparkly silver over-sized shirt, to the high waisted trousers that completely clash with the rest of his look, Harry is the epitome of a glam rock god.

Sandi Tokvig and Noel Fielding have nothing but love for Paul Hollywood (Picture: Channel 4)
The Great British Bake Off presenters Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding have heaped praise on ‘lovely’ Paul Hollywood.
The pair have described what Paul, 53, is like behind the scenes of the baking show, where he is known for his no-nonsense criticism and steely gaze.
According to Sandi, the TV chef if the biggest fluffball you’ll ever meet.
‘He’s a giggler’ she told Radio Times. ‘People don’t know that about him.’
Noel weighed in saying: ‘He’s a lovely man. If you were in trouble you could pick up the phone to him and he would be there in five minutes flat.’
Their kind words will be music to Paul’s ears at the moment, whose very public split from girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, 24, will be at the forefront of everyone’s minds when Bake Off returns this month.
The former couple first met back in 2017, when Paul planned a birthday party for his now ex-wife, Alex, at the pub Summer worked in.

Paul and Summer split in August after it was revealed she refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement which prevented her from talking about their relationship.
His former flame is now rumoured to be seeking a spot on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! later in the year.
Summer has been liking Instagram comments calling for her to enter the jungle, including one which read: ‘Hope rumours are true and this beautiful lady is on I’m a celebrity this year. You’ve got my support and vote.’
Meanwhile Paul will return to our screens for Bake Off, putting more amateur bakers through their paces with challenges that even he finds tricky.
‘It’s been interesting to come up with some unusual things this year – the challenges I think have been scaled back a little bit,’ Paul said.
‘I thought sometimes we’ve been running away with some of the challenges being too difficult.’
The Great British Bake Off returns 27 August at 8pm on Channel 4.

Jennifer Lopez’ beau has revealed that he keeps a close eye on his daughters by using a burner Instagram account.
Sneaky.
The 44-year-old former baseball star admitted his daughters Natasha Alexander, 14, and 11-year-old Ella Alexander have banned him from following them on social media so he has set up a fake account in order to keep an eye on their posts.
‘My daughters don’t let me follow them on social media. It’s awful,’ said Alex before revealing he ‘absolutely’ has a burner account.
Speaking on a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ Chicks in the Office podcast, Alex also revealed that his daughters – whose mother is his former wife Cynthia Scurtis – have to approve any social media posts that they appear in.

‘They’re so good.
‘Every time I post something, usually like, five out of 10, both of them would DM and say, “Dad, are you serious? Dad, you know I’m going into high school this year. Dad, this is how bullying starts.”
‘I have contracts with both of them that if I post something – now, you know, they’re getting to be teenagers, they have to approve everything – and I’m like, “Okay, I got it, I’m sorry”.’

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne – Velkhana is not an easy mark
Capcom’s monster-sized expansion will not only feature new creatures but offer free guardian armour for all players.
After huge success with Resident Evil and Devil May Cry last year it’s been a quiet E3 and Gamescom for Capcom in 2019.
But since their recent run of good fortune started with Monster Hunter: World them leaning heavily into promoting expansion Iceborne shouldn’t come as a surprise.
To that end they’ve just released a lengthy new trailer which focuses on Iceborne’s story and new Elder Dragon Velkhana and his ice abilities.
Other new monsters confirmed for the expansion include brute wyvern Brachydios, who was first introduced in 2011’s Monster Hunter Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Brachydios has explosive slime attacks (he’s the one with the stubby, florescent green arms), while all-new Elder Dragon Namielle uses water-based attacks.
Iceborne will be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 6 September, with the PC version due in January 2020.
Even if you don’t get Iceborne, Capcom has announced that all Monster Hunter: World players will be given a free Guardian Armour set on 4 September, as part of a new title update.
The armour is aimed at giving new players a leg-up, even though Iceborne itself is only for veteran players and requires the original game to play.
To ensure there’s a steady stream of new player coming through the update will also introduce the Hunter Helper feature, which gives exclusive in-game pendants and trophies to veteran hunters that help out lower-ranked players.
Story moments will also play out in phone calls in Blair Witch (Picture: Microsoft)
Blair Witch was a genuine surprise at this year’s E3. Not only did it avoid getting leaked, unlike the majority of Microsoft’s show, but it became the unexpected horror franchise revival no one was asking for.
The logic is that it will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the original movie. If you’re unfamiliar, The Blair Witch Project became a horror classic through incredible marketing – selling the idea of a ‘documentary’ where three student filmmakers hiked in the Black Hills forest to investigate the legend, only for them all to disappear. It spearheaded the found-footage sub-genre, opening the gates for films like Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield.
After the 1999 movie, the history of Blair Witch slides into awful. A sequel was quickly rushed out in 2000, while an attempt at a reboot in 2016 fell short at the box office. There was also a trilogy of PC games at the time of the original movie, but they barely connected to the concept or narrative of the movies at all.
This patchy history makes the existence of a new title feel somewhat odd. Although, in the hands of Layers Of Fear and Observer developer Bloober Team, this Blair Witch has the best chance yet at restoring goodwill and returning some excitement back to the franchise.

Blair Witch captures the creepy Black Hills Forest aesthetic (Picture: Microsoft)
In our hands-on, we were shown five disparate segments across the four to six hour experience. Set in 1996, two years after the original, you play as former police officer Ellis searching for a missing young boy in the same Black Hills forest. You’re joined by a companion dog named Bullet, who acts as a key mechanic for finding items, navigating the woods, and fending off ‘monsters’.
You control Bullet’s behaviour through a command wheel, whether seeking out useful items (although he’ll happily give out rubbish too), staying close, have him stay in position, or petting him as a reward. He’s key to your survival; with one chase sequence seeing Bullet guide you through creepy marshland as the Blair Witch topples trees around you, with death looming if you lose track of him. How well you treat and protect Bullet will have an impact on the game’s ending, although the developer stayed tight-lipped on how different, or expansive, these outcomes would be.
During our playthrough, Bullet was most useful during combat. Instead of traditional weapons, you use a flashlight to fend off monsters who dash between trees at unnerving speed. Bullet barks in their direction so you can track their movements and keep them at bay by shining the torch. It’s unclear if these fights pan out similarly across the game, but tracking both a yelping dog and zipping monsters did occasionally feel cumbersome – something we could see causing frustration depending on how frantic later encounters prove to be.
Disorientation, however, is largely what Blair Witch is going for. As you delve further into the forest, you’ll be plunged into darkness while creepy voices whisper, only to briefly awaken in a different location before you’re pulled away again. While it’s suitably unsettling, the linear structuredoes nullify some of the tension in the wider woodland sections – making the sense of feeling isolated and vulnerable slightly artificial when you’re essentially funnelled down a corridor.
When Blair Witch operates in tight spaces and plays to the developer’s strengths, everything clicks. In a later sequence you’re navigating the classic Blair Witch house, solving minor puzzles with a camcorder as you follow splattered stains the naked eye can’t see. You’re soon locked into a room-shifting, time-loop ride akin to Layers Of Fear and P.T., with your camera acting like a window to horrors you can’t otherwise see. It’s tense, suffocating, and gets under your skin – the exact ingredients you’d want from a Blair Witch game.
The camcorder also plays a role in other puzzles. Unlike Outlast, you won’t be scrambling for spare batteries while cowering under beds. Instead, old tapes you discover will inform you about the route forward in a similar vein to Resident Evil 7, which you fast forward and rewind to find the key moment, like the opening of a locked door, to let you proceed. The example we were shown was very basic, but hopefully later areas will allow you to manipulate the environment in more interesting ways.
The big question is whether all these separate elements, from combat, puzzle-solving, and nurturing a companion, can come together for a unified horror experience. The franchise may have struggled to find its identity since the original Blair Witch 20 years ago, but the intriguing elements here are the most convincing reason to believe there’s life in the old dog yet.
After our hands-on, we spoke to Maciej Glomb, team developer at Bloober Team, about bringing back the Blair Witch and why it’s their most challenging game yet.
GC: The announcement of a new Blair Witch game took many by surprise. So how did you come to work with the franchise? Did Lionsgate approach you?
MG: As far as I know, it was during early access of Layers Of Fear that they reached out to us because we knew each other before. Apparently they really liked Layers Of Fear and they wanted us to portray the Blair Witch universe in their video game, so that’s how it all started.
GC: This is the first time your studio has handled a licence – how different was it compared to working on Layers Of Fear and Observer?
MG: It was [different] but at the same time Lionsgate gave us a lot of freedom in a way that we could approach the game however we liked. They gave us some directions concerning the lore and so on; what can happen in the universe and what cannot happen. But I’d say they were really open for all of our suggestions.
From the beginning we agreed that we didn’t really want to make a survival horror game. We just want to keep to our style we portrayed in Observer and Layers Of Fear, so we wanted to keep it more psychological and they were fine with that. It was different for sure because you have this first party you need to band your ideas from, but it was a really smooth operation.
GC: The Blair Witch franchise hasn’t exactly been in healthy shape over the past 20 years, since the original, were you guys hesitant to take it on initially?
MG: It was interesting for us in the sense you mentioned before, that this is the first time we’d made someone else’s IP. So we wanted to try that.
I think what really connected us with Lionsgate is that Blair Witch has similar ideas we have in our games. The whole loop idea, right? Space loop and time loops, this is something we also did in Observer and Layers Of Fear so we felt like we were pretty well matched together. That’s why we decided to do it basically. Also the fact Lionsgate gave us a lot of creative freedom as to how we want to approach the subject, they didn’t block us in any way.

A flashlight is your only means of defence (Picture: Microsoft)
GC: Are things introduced in this game now part of the official Blair Witch lore?
MG: Basically how it works is we do this game in cooperation with Lionsgate, but we don’t force anything on them. So if they want to take some of the things from the game to their lore, they are free to do so. It’s not like every part of the game will be part of the universe.
GC: Now I fully endorse this decision. But can you explain why you chose a dog over a human companion?
MG: We did this because of two reasons. One is we wanted to achieve this feeling of isolation in the forest, so you fear about yourself and you’re alone, which boosts the whole experience. At the same time we wanted to have someone you can take care of and Bullet allows us to achieve both of those goals at the same time because it’s not a traditional companion. It’s not like a human companion who can help you in the same way you can. He’s a bit more dependent on you.
GC: There hasn’t been a companion in your past games. How difficult was it bringing that into the mix of a horror title?
MG: We’ve never done AI before so it was very hard because we did everything from scratch. You need to balance it between being not too dumb and not too smart. We had some problems in the beginning of development [where] if it’s too smart he will just lead you through the whole game. You will just tell it to ‘seek’ and he’ll always guide you the right way. And if it’s too dumb, it’s not useful for you in the gameplay mechanics. So you need to balance it in the middle to make it work.

Blair Witch is gearing towards a more narrative horror experience (Picture: Microsoft)
GC: The flashlight combat will likely draw comparisons to Alan Wake. Was that game a direct inspiration?
MG: Yeah kind of. The first thing we truly wanted to do was give players a way of defending themselves because we didn’t really do that in Observer or Layers Of Fear. And from what we heard, players wanted to have some ways of defending themselves.
We didn’t want to give them conventional weapons because it’s not this kind of setting, so that’s why we chose the flashlight. Of course, Alan Wake was one of our inspirations although this is kind of different because you don’t have conventional weapons. It’s more scaring them away than killing them with the flashlight. But what’s really interesting is Bullet helps you during combat, because he’ll also bark in the direction of monsters so you can use him as a compass.
GC: It was mentioned how there’s multiple endings depending on how you treat Bullet – can you say how many endings there will be?
MG: I don’t really want to tell you how many. But I can say there are more than one ending. There is more than one plot line which will affect the ending, and they will all come together at the end to create this picture for you of what happens after your game.
GC: You also don’t see the Blair Witch in this game. Was that a decision from Lionsgate?
MG: I’d say both because obviously the Blair Witch universe has never shown the Witch for some reason. At Bloober Team, we also think that sometimes things are much more scary when you can’t see them. If you just feel them around you, that’s what we wanted to achieve.
You can feel the Witch in the game. As you experienced under the tree with the whispers, the monster is also how she impacts the forest, the ever-changing environment. All of it is kind of her impact on you and the forest.
GC: Is this license something you’d want to continue with a sequel?
MG: It’s probably too early to say anything about that, but yeah who knows. Maybe.

Adam is believed to be joined by Emily Atack in hosting the show, who was a runner-up on last year’s series.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to ITV for comment.
Scarlett announced her departure from the show in last month on Instagram, writing: ‘After chatting to one of my besties @realjoeswashy and seeing his Insta post I thought I would do mine too.
‘For 3 years I have enjoyed jungle life, being crowned queen of the jungle and having the greatest time presenting extra camp with Swashy and Joel who I now class as best friends.
‘The jungle absolutely changed my life and I am massively grateful to everybody who voted for me whilst in the jungle and for your constant support to date and everybody who tuned in to extra camp.’
I’m A Celebrity is set to return later this year on ITV.
Kang Min Hee, Cha Jun Jo, Nam Do Hyon, Lee Han Gyul, Son Dong Pyo, Cho Seung Youn, Song Hyeong Jun, Han Seung Woo, Kim Woo Seok and Kim Yo Han will make their debut later this month with their first mini-album Quantum Leap.
Kim Yo Han said on V Live that he has ‘always been our leader’, while Son Dong Pyo added: ‘I hope he will become a father to the 10 of us. But I’m the youngest son that he cherishes the most.’
Seungwoo himself voted for Cho Seung Youn as leader, saying: ‘I think he’d be a great help to everyone because he’s an all-rounder who’s good at singing, dancing, and rap, and I also think he’d be a good mood maker.’
However, after being announced as leader, he said: ‘Thank you for giving me your precious vote. I’ll be a leader who walks ahead by a step, and I’ll try to lead you well. So you’ll follow me well, right?’
Quantum Leap is out 27 August.

Will we be hearing something new from Rihanna soon? (Picture: Getty Images)
We don’t want to alarm you, dear reader, however, something tells us Rihanna might be releasing new music soon after ‘registering new music’.
Is there where we insert the Michael Scott ‘it’s happening’ meme?
The 31-year-old singer hasn’t blessed our eardrums with an album since 2016’s Anti (we’re not bitter, we promise) has just registered the tune Private Loving with her music publisher BMI, according to reports.
The song was reportedly written by Rihanna and Jamaican reggae artist Demarco, real name Collin Demar Edwards.
It all makes sense she’d be teaming up with a dancehall artist, after her 2018 Vogue cover story reported she was working on a reggae album.
Is this the reggae album? Is it?
Fans began to go wild earlier this week when a purported copy of the registration was shared among Rihanna stan groups and included her other apparently songwriting collaborators Monique Lawz and Alexander Adedamola Ayobami Ogunmokun.

Us patiently waiting for Rihanna tunes (Picture: Getty Images Europe)
It’s safe to say everyone is desperate for Rihanna to drop her ninth album – despite the star making it clear she’ll get there in her own sweet time.
Seems we’re just not satisfied with the Fenty Beauty, the films like Oceans 8 and Guava Island, and the fashion line, eh?
While Rihanna is yet to say anything on the matter, of course, when congratulated on the news, Monique Lawz thanked her fans on Twitter, seemingly confirming her involvement.
Trying to placate our growing impatience, Rihanna recently said she’s still working on recording the new material, but doesn’t have a release date in mind yet.
When asked how much longer fans would have to wait, she said: ‘I wish I knew. I have blocked off a solid period of time for the studio next month.’
While she admitted it was disappointing she can’t just put her new music out into the world like that *snaps fingers*, she insisted she doesn’t want to rush the material.
She added during a June Interview, er, interview: ‘It really does suck that it can’t just come out, because I’m working on a really fun one right now. I’m really happy with a lot of the material we have so far, but I am not going to put it out until it’s complete.
‘It makes no sense to rush it, but I want it out. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m like, “Even if I don’t have the time to shoot videos, I’m going to put an album out”.’
Her business does take up a lot of her time, with Rihanna citing her empire as a reason we’re not seeing albums with such regularity – and we’ve got to be okay with that, alright? Alright?
‘It’s the reason why an album isn’t being spat out like it used to,’ she continued.
‘I used to be in the studio, only the studio, for three months straight, and an album would come out. Now, it’s like a carousel. I do fashion one day, lingerie the next, beauty the next, then music the next. It’s like having a bunch of kids and you need to take care of them all.’
Watch this space, we suppose?

Thank Mike for keeping our Pink out of prison (Picture: Pink/Instagram)
Pink has wrapped her mammoth 157-date Beautiful Trauma World Tour by thanking her burly bodyguard for keeping her out of jail, no joke.
The singer shared a hilarious tribute to Mark Wise, as she posed alongside her security and protector backstage overnight.
She, however, mused the man was less for keeping her safe from the public, but rather the public safe from her.
Pink, you can rough us up whenever you like!
‘I have no good photos with Mark Wise. I still don’t. This man has been by mine and my kiddos side for the last 8 or so years, and I love him to pieces,’ Pink began her message.
‘He doesn’t necessarily protect me from other people, it’s more like he protects other people from me.
She’s been on the road for two-and-a-half years performing for excited and loyal punters night after night.
Celebrating the end of the road and her return home, she uploaded a shot of her alongside two pals having a lie down.
A well-earned lie-down we should add.
‘That’s all folks! Thank you to everyone around the world for a beautiful, magical, challenging, fun, emotional, soulful tour. This was 2 1/2 years of blood, sweat, and many tears. A lot of happy ones, too,’ she wrote.

‘It has been an honour and a pleasure to play with you.
‘My team… from the stage builders to the sound and lights and video and dancers and band and safety and stunts and everyone in between is hands down the best crew of any tour in the world. I am incredibly grateful to work with them. I love them with all of my heart, and I love all of you, too.
‘Til next time. That’s a wrap! #beautifultraumaworldtour💞 #157#gratitude.’
With only two performances scheduled for the rest of the year (one in October and November) the superstar is probably pretty excited to get back to her own bed and have husband Carey Hart look after the kids so she can get just one minute of meditation time.
The So What singer shared a backstage photo of the flowers wanting to document it for us all.
‘Congrats baby! All I can say is “wow”, I’m so proud of the person you are, you’ve pulled off the impossible,’ his note read.
‘Record-setting tour, chart-topping album, amazing mother, and loving wife.’
He continued: ‘I’m so fortunate to be shotgun with you through the whole experience.
‘I love you so much, and can’t wait to celebrate life with you after the tour.’

Amanda Holden loves you talking about her boobs (Picture: Rex)
Amanda Holden really loves talking about her breasts – and she loves that we’re all talking about them as well.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge has received numerous Ofcom complaints about her risque outfits on the ITV competition show but she admits that the fact that she’s 50 and ‘people are still talking about my tired old breasts’ is incredible.
Although she insists that she never thinks about her age or the public perception when she’s getting dressed.
‘My children don’t bat an eyelid at what I wear and love borrowing my clothes. I have fun on Britain’s Got Talent – it’s the perfect opportunity to take risks,’ she said.
‘Times have changed and I don’t feel anyone should feel pressure to dress for your age. It’s all about body positivity and feeling good.’

Amanda’s choice of dress on the hit variety program two years ago also struck a chord with 663 outraged viewers, who wrote to the TV regulator about her plunging Julian Macdonald dress.
The £11,250 lace dress received more complaints than Russell Brand’s bad language and sexual references during Comic Relief.
In 2018 the judge wore a stunning bodysuit covered by a glittering see-through skirt – but calls for her ‘to put her boobs away’ rang through on social media – while in 2019 she wore a stunning, floor-length gown by Nicolas Jebran, complete with floral details across the skirt and a spider-web design covering her breast.
The dress saw nine complaints sent to Ofcom.

Logic has confirmed he’s expecting his first child with his fiancée Brittney Noell, by dropping his epic No Pressure Freestyle.
Your fave could never.
The 29-year-old rapper – real name Robert Bryson Hall – revealed in the bars that he’s expecting a baby boy.
‘And I’m havin’ a little baby / Surprise, it’s a little baby boy,’ he rapped, before adding: ‘F*** TMZ, they can’t get the scoop on that s***/ Welcome little Bobby to the world one time.’
‘On this Under Pressure sequel we not takin’ it back, we keepin’ it pushin’,’ he said elsewhere on the freestyle. ‘People scared of change, but you’ll find me deep in a cushion.’
Safe to say, fans were hyped about the star’s happy news.
‘DID LOGIC JUST SAY HE IS HAVING A KID?!?!?!?!?!?!?!’ one excited listener asked.

So sweet!
Although Logic and Brittney have kept their relationship pretty private, the pair met back in early 2018, with TMZ reporting last month that they’d obtained a marriage licence to tie the knot.
Last year, he filed for divorce from Jessica Andrea (Picture: Getty Images)
Despite calling off their relationship, the pair insisted that there is no bad blood between them.
In a joint statement they said: ‘After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends. As entertainers, we have made every aspect of our lives public, yet we would appreciate your respect and privacy on this issue.
‘At the same time, we would like to shut down the speculation and potential internet clickbait as to the ‘why’ and how this happened, or the “who might have done what to whom.”‘
The pair then put all speculation on their break up to bed when they added: ‘It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives.
‘And to all the fans: don’t be sad. Be happy that we could peacefully end this chapter of our relationship, beginning a new one full of love and happiness.
‘There will be no displays of anger or hatred that tear people apart; the public will not be made to choose sides. There are no sides, there is just us.
‘Two people who loved each other in marriage and will continue to love each other for the rest of our lives.’

It was 12 seasons of watching Sheldon show absolutely no emotion towards his friends which made the final all the more fitting and gave the genius his perfect send-off, according to director Mark Cendrowski, who landed an Emmy nomination for the episode, The Change Constant.
‘Sheldon’s non-emotion amplified everyone else. You could get frustrated with Sheldon, but then you saw how it affected Leonard when he’d be upset,’ the filmmaker told Screen Rant.
‘That’s what I’d lean into. That universe spinning around him had to be real and honest. I felt a lot of pressure because it had been building up all year.
‘The episode had a lot of great challenges — we had 300 extras and had to shoot an auditorium scene to make it look like 3,000 people attending the Nobel Prize ceremony.

‘That was a vast scene that also had to play emotionally and close to the heart.’
The Big Bang Theory season one to 12 are available to stream on Netflix.

Seann Walsh has kicked the boot into Katya and Neil’s split (Picture: PA Wire)
Seann Walsh has wasted no time in making fun of Katya Jones’ split with Neil, after he became embroiled in drama after being pictured making out with the Strictly pro.
It comes after the pros confirmed on Sunday they had gone their separate ways after six years of marriage, 10 months after Katya and 33-year-old comedian Seann – who were paired up on the series last year – were caught smooching in the street.
Just hours after the pair’s split announcement, Seann referenced their break up during a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s Pleasance Dome.
The comedian made six ‘cruel’ comments about the couple’s split, including referencing kissing Katya like kissing a ‘gay man’s wife’, according to The Sun.
It was added that when a fan yelled out he was a ‘f*cking legend’, Seann replied: ‘Where were you 10 months ago? I f*cking needed you.’

His 8pm set on Sunday involved a few gags at the expense of the couple, it seemed.
‘I am aware they announced they are splitting up. I have no reaction,’ he told the crowd, according to Daily Mirror.
He then joked: ‘I will see you in hell.’
Not content with ending things there, the actor also made a joke about being in bed with Katya after the photos of their infamous kiss were released.
He quipped: ‘On the Friday I am in the hotel so the paps can’t find me – secret location, very showbiz.

‘I get into bed and ask Katya to pass me the remote.’
He added: ‘The year I’ve had? I can make that joke.’
Errr.
Katya, 30, took to Instagram on Sunday, just hours before Seann’s set, to share a joint statement from her and Neil, 37, confirming their marriage is over.
‘Hi everyone. As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news. After 11 years we have made the mutual decision to separate,’ she wrote.
‘We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
‘Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.
‘We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx (sic).’
Metro.co.uk contacted Seann’s reps for comment.

Channel 4’s Train Your Baby Like A Dog became the subject of debate on Good Morning Britain, with a mother defending the show following calls for it to be cancelled.
The new series, airing on Tuesday night (20 August), sees renowned dog trainer Jo-Rosie Haffenden teach parents how to utilise her techniques on children to keep their behaviour in check.
A petition on Change.org started by Autistic Inclusive Meets has reached over 24,000 signatures to cancel the programme, with leading child psychotherapists stating they’re ‘deeply concerned’ about the show.
June O’Sullivan and Georgina Fuller argued whether the show has a point on Good Morning Britain with hosts Kevin Bacon and Ranvir Singh, with the latter believing there’s some logical crossover between child and dog discipline.

Speaking on the show, Georgina said: ‘I’m not saying children are dogs but I’m saying there’s definitely techniques that you’d use for a boisterous toddler that you would also use for a dog.
‘I mean, they put toddlers on leads. I didn’t do that with my boys personally, but you see it quite a lot. It’s very common.
‘I think setting boundaries, giving rewards, giving regular exercise, all of the things that I do as a mum, I would do for a dog as well. That’s not dehumanising my children.’
Taking issue with the show’s title, June said: ‘It’s about respect. You could have called it something else but you haven’t.
‘The techniques are outdated. Children are thinking social beings and they need to learn to self-regulate, they need to understand the rationale for why things are.’
Speaking about the show, a Channel 4 spokesperson said: ‘The programme explores a new approach to childcare, grounded in positive, science-based motivational techniques that are used widely by parenting coaches and animal behaviour experts.
‘Throughout filming and broadcast, the welfare of all contributors in the programme is of paramount importance and the process is supervised by qualified child psychologists.’
You can catch Good Morning Britain weekdays on ITV at 6am.
Pink and Ellen DeGeneres have defended Prince Harry and Meghan (Picture: Getty)
Ellen DeGeneres and Pink have both defended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, wading into the ongoing criticism aimed at the British royals.
Taking to Twitter, TV presenter Ellen revealed that she had enjoyed a private meeting with the pair in the UK and that they were ‘down-to-earth’ and being unfairly attacked when they were simply trying to ‘make the world better’.
‘Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation,’ shared Ellen.
‘They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.’

Pink added: ‘I’m happy to see people coming to the defense of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
‘The way people treat her is the most public form of bullying I have seen in a while. It’s out of control. Let’s all be a bit kinder, huh? Let’s show our children that it’s cool to be kind.’
The Duke and Duchess brand themselves as being ‘eco-friendly’ and Harry attended a climate change summit in Sicily – via private jet – organised by Google last month, where he reportedly delivered a speech while barefoot on saving the environment.

The way we all talk about LGBTQ+ and sexually fluid celebrities needs to change (Picture: JEAN-BAPTISTE LACROIX/AFP/Getty Images)
Your sexuality is a deeply personal thing, and if you’re anything other than heterosexual, it can be difficult to talk about. So in my eyes, any celebrity that speaks about being gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer or anything else under the LGBTQ+ umbrella should be commended.
And in the past few weeks, we’ve had a number of stars, from UK reality shows and Hollywood alike, discussing their sexuality or having their sexuality discussed across social media.
Now, I’m an entertainment journalist – I get that it’s fun to speculate over the romantic lives of stars. Of course it is. But what is not OK is when speculating over romances turns into speculation about and the mockery of someone’s sexuality.
The pressure applied on Curtis during a This Morning interview to label his sexuality, when he repeatedly said that was what he didn’t want to do, has been widely criticised, and rightly so, but he isn’t the only person whose sexuality has become a target of late.

Megan has been dating women on the show (Picture: E4)
While on the surface Megan’s bisexuality seems to have been treated well on Celebs Go Dating, a particularly tasteless joke was made by narrator Rob Beckett as the model walked into the agency.
He said: ‘Coming in next it’s yet another sexy celeb. It’s only Princess Pout, Megan Barton Hanson. She love the d*** and the f***y.’
Firstly, making such a crude joke about a sex positive woman is grim on its own. And secondly, reducing a bisexual woman to someone who is gagging for it, and is solely attracted to someone’s sexual organs, is a dull and outdated trope that has no place on TV, particularly on a TV show that is profiting off said woman’s search for love.
This trope has also been given an outing when it comes to Miley, and went viral thanks to a troll who wrote: ‘#MileyCyrus splitting and allegedly cheating on Liam with a woman confirms that you shouldn’t date bi people. Not offensive, just true. Bi is greedy and never satisfied.’
Now, this troll was obviously trying to get a rise out of Twitter but that message was reiterated in more subtle terms across social media and various reports claiming Miley’s desire for women was the reason for the split.

Miley’s romance with Kaitynn has attracted unhelpful opinions (Picture: Instagram)
We don’t know the ins and outs of Miley and Liam’s split, and who knows, maybe it was because Miley wanted to explore her sexuality further. But that doesn’t make her greedy – that just makes her normal. Bisexual or pansexual people aren’t just trying to shag everything with a pulse – they are attracted to people without the boundaries of ‘man’ and ‘woman’ limiting their choice, and they are born that way.
There are more and more LGBTQ+ figures in the public eye who are willing to discuss their sexualities and use their platform for equal rights and to shine a light on issues, and that is so important, not least for LGBTQ+ kids to be represented. But the way that sexuality is spoken about, I wouldn’t blame any of them for refusing to talk about their sexualities, and I wouldn’t blame any young person for feeling scared to come out when such scorn is thrown at the non-hetero rich and famous.
People can claim they are not homophobic because they would never use a slur towards a gay person and because they agree with gay marriage, but some of those people would then argue that a bi person is just confused or undecided or greedy or sex-mad. Just because it’s not outward hatred, doesn’t mean it’s not laced with low-key homophobia.
The way we all talk about LGBTQ+ and sexually fluid celebrities needs to change. It’s hard enough to come out, let alone in the public eye with the entirety of Twitter ready to pounce – and just because they’re famous, that doesn’t give anyone the right to shame them over who they choose to make out with.

Nick Carter has said BTS should win a new MTV award instead of the Backstreet Boys (Picture: Getty Images)
Nick Carter’s iconic boyband Backstreet Boys might have landed a nomination for the new Best Group award at the MTV Video Music Awards but he doesn’t think they should win it.
In fact, the singer has called for BTS or the Jonas Brothers to walk away with the fan-voted award instead.
Just one week before the show takes place, MTV revealed the new category which will see 5SOS, Backstreet Boys, BLACKPINK, BTS, CNCO, Jonas Brothers, PRETTYMUCH and Why Don’t We compete for the Best Group title.
But Nick was shocked to see his band in the same category as the other bands and all but begged for his group to be taken out of the running.
‘”Ain’t nothing but a heart ache.” No way our Old Assess win an MTV award in 2019,’ he tweeted. ‘@mtv Take us out of this category please, I can’t handle the stress induced drama #BackstreetBoys #mtvbestgroup #VMA #vmas #giveittojonasbrothers or #BTS [sic]’.
While a lot of BTS and Jo Bro fans were happy about the tweet, Backstreet Boys lovers weren’t so pleased to see Nick messing his band’s chances.

‘But you guys are better than all these people combined!’ one wrote.
‘Oh no. Please don’t say like that Nick!’ another tweeted.
‘You’re not old! I’ll vote for @BTS_twt but BsB deserves this nomination just as any younger act, if not more than some!’ another stated. ‘You guys ruled the late ’90s/early 2000’s, sold out a tour and earned a Grammy nom in the late 2010’s? Iconic! I want longevity for BTS too so I respect this’.
Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds of Summer revealed he agreed with Nick as the Australian band are also up for the award.

Sam Smith gazing at his four Grammy Awards (Picture: @samsmith)
Sam Smith is giving us the ultimate hot girl summer vibes as he donned tiny neon speedos this week.
The singer gave us all a run for our money with his supermodel posing on his Instagram post yesterday.
Sam, 27, accompanied his tiny trunks with a rather country straw hat as he gazed into the distance.
The posing in his picture can almost rival his fierce dance moves in the new How Do You Sleep? music video.
Before the video’s release on 18 July, he had warned us that his ‘inner dancing queen’ would be coming out in the video, tweeting how he ‘felt so free’.
We have all been living our best hot girl summer lives thanks to Megan Thee Stallion, who recently released a song of the same name, alongside Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.
No matter how sick you are of the term, there’s no stopping celebrities from jumping on the hot girl summer bandwagon.

Ever since the trend became popularised on social media, it’s been picked up by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Lizzo, Jada Pinkett Smith and many others.
Miley, 26, has started living her own version – while dealing with an intense split from hubby Liam Hemsworth – and has shown us how she does it.
The Mother’s Daughter singer uploaded a video of her twerking, going from standing to an on-the-ground twerk while wearing her white crop top and black shorts.
There’s no denying the impact Hot Girl Summer has had on everyone’s lives, encouraging people to be living with confidence during these scorching months.
If you’re still unfamiliar with the term, it’s about living your best lives rather than being ‘hot’.
‘It’s just basically about women – and men – just being unapologetically them, just having a good-a*s time, hyping up your friends, doing you, not giving a damn about what nobody got to say about it,’ Megan explained in an interview with The Root.
‘You definitely have to be a person that can be the life of the party, and, y’know, just a bad b*tch.’

Lucifer will end after its fifth season (Picture: Netflix)
Lucifer star Tom Ellis became emotional when speaking about the last day on set of season five.
We only have one more season before the supernatural series, starring Ellis as the titular character, comes to an end for good.
And it’s a day that neither the Lucifans or Tom are looking forward to.
During his appearance at the Lucifer fan convention in Los Angeles, according to broadcaster Jim Heath, Tom admitted he would struggle to deal with Lucifer not being a part of his life any more.
He said: ‘I can categorically say that I will never have another experience like this. When they call cut on the last day, it’s going to be a lot to take in.’
The actor added that he wasn’t aware of how much love there was for the show until it was axed by FOX. After some passionate campaigning from viewers, Netflix picked it up for two more seasons.
Tom said: These days there is so much TV, so much content out there. To be on a show that gets noticed, that people know about, that just seems like a massive achievement these days.

‘You guys don’t know about all of this but we’ve been up against it quite a lot. We’re like the b*****d child.
‘We wouldn’t have known how popular the show was until we got canceled. That was the crazy thing about it. We didn’t know that there was all that love out there.’
Work on season five has already begun with the writing team already in the process of whipping up some hot new episodes.

The pair announced their split earlier this month (Picture: PA/REX)
Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil and Katya Jones reportedly split as a result of the kiss with Seann Walsh last year as it made it ‘impossible for them to get back on track.’
While the comedian was dumped by his girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, Neil and Katya stayed together.
However, after the married couple’s split earlier this month, it’s been claimed that they couldn’t get past the kiss last year as ‘the infidelity highlighted problems within the relationship and made it impossible for them to get back on track.’
A source added to The Sun: ‘They are determined not to let their split affect Strictly as it’s their main source of income.
‘They’re being guided by how Kevin and Karen Clifton handled their split.’
A spokesperson for Katya and Neil told Metro.co.uk in a statement: ‘It would be incorrect and unfair to attribute their separation to one isolated incident.
‘Many people make such a decision to separate when they realise that their relationship has become more of a friendship. They remain the very best of friends and will continue to dance together.’
