Laura Whitmore isn’t planning on launching a music career, just FYI (Picture: WireImage)
Laura Whitmore has been in the public eye for over a decade, launching her presenting career way back in 2008.
But, speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, the 34-year-old revealed she has absolutely no plans to get up on stage herself.
When asked if she was keen on kicking off a music career, she told us: ‘I performed on stage at the Olympia in Dublin, for the first time ever. It was for a special cause, Rock Against Homelessness.
‘Everyone was getting up on stage and so I got up, my brother played guitar. That was the first time and I was petrified. Literally petrified.
‘I’m fine talking on stage but singing is a whole other ball game.’
However, the rare performance didn’t unleash an inner desire to release music.
‘My problem is I’m surrounded by too many talented people who are way better than me,’ the TV star – who is dating Love Island’s Iain Stirling – continued.
‘Even with my friends, a lot of them are musicians, after parties we all have a sing-song. I will never sing because there are people there who are so much better than me.
‘I’m the last person to sing!’
However, despite having no desire to get into the studio anytime soon, Laura has been named the co-host of music series Red Stripe Presents: This Feeling TV.
The YouTube show will showcase music from new acts and established bands, as well as taking viewers behind the scenes on the tour bus of their favourite singers, and guest appearances.
Holly Willoughby, Abbey Clancy and Line Of Duty stars Martin Compston and Stephen Graham are just some of the famous faces who have popped up on the show in the past.
Basically the dream.
And the Strictly Come Dancing star will be presenting alongside Gordon Smart.
Speaking about her new role, she previously said: ‘Music is a huge part of my life; from going to see live bands and heading to festivals, to watching unknown talents grow into household names – it’s the best thing about working in this industry.
‘The opportunity to work alongside Gordon, as well as helping to promote new, exciting bands on show was far too much of an exciting prospect to turn down.
’It’s going to be a blast!
Laura Whitmore has joined Gordon Smart as co-host of online TV show Red Stripe Presents: This Feeling TV.

Game Of Thrones may have seeded this twist in the poster (Picture: HBO)
Game Of Thrones may have become known for impressive foreshadowing in its story twists, but it seems the show’s marketing may have played the biggest trick on us all.
While, for many, the twist came out of nowhere, the poster for the first season featuring Ned Stark seems to have included a clue to this result all along.
In the poster, Ned Stark is seen sat beside a raven. You know, like The Three-Eyed Raven Bran eventually became over the course of eight seasons? You buying this?
The first poster for Game Of Thrones (Picture: HBO)
While it might have been simply a cool detail to add on the poster, it’s certainly quite noticeable looking back – especially as Bran is Ned Stark’s only son.
So could we have been duped all along? Let’s pretend all those hours creating theories wasn’t for nothing.
Big Little Lies star Zoe Kravitz is thought to have wed her boyfriend Karl Glusman in a private ceremony a month before their planned nuptials.
The 30-year-old actress has been engaged to Karl for over a year and they were set to say ‘I do’ in front of friends and family in June in France.
But insiders close to the pair have claimed that they decided to have a quiet legal ceremony ahead of the big celebration.
Zoe and Karl, 31, are reportedly now ‘legally married’ but are still planning to host their traditional ceremony next month.
Sources didn’t say when the pair tied the knot, as the couple – who met at a bar in 2016 – are notoriously private about their personal lives; Zoe revealed in October 2018 she was engaged eight months after the question was popped.
The pair have been together since 2016 (Picture: GC Images)
‘Oh yeah, I’m engaged. I haven’t told anyone yet. I mean, I haven’t told the world. He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants,’ she said.
In January, the actress admitted she was starting to piece together her big day, but found planning ‘intimidating but exciting’.
‘It just feels like a big fresh start – turning 30, getting married, writing on the show, producing. It’s like everything’s a level deeper than it used to be,’ she said.
The pair remain very private (Picture: FilmMagic)
‘[I want to be] doing less things, but doing them better. Instead of doing a bunch of projects, I’d like to develop one project, which takes longer, but feels so much more rewarding, especially when you’re getting something made that probably wouldn’t have been made otherwise.
‘That, and then also just really trying to enjoy life and take the time to spend time with people who I love.’

Set in 1927, a year after the events in the TV series, the Downton Abbey movie – aptly called Downton Abbey – is due to be released later this year.
It promises to follow the nation’s favourite aristocrats as they ready themselves to play host to none other than King George V and Queen Mary.
As we eagerly await the arrival of this lush feature-length outing, let’s take a look at the characters from the show who will be returning…
Which Downton Abbey characters are returning for the film?
Almost all of your favourites from the series will be making their comeback with the continuation of the Downton Abbey Story.
That includes sass queen and Dowager Countess Violet Crawley (played by Dame Maggie Smith), Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael), Countess Cora Crawley (Elizabeth McGovern), Earl Robert Crawley (Hugh Bonneville) and, of course, Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and her dashing husband Henry Talbot (Matthew Goode).
Even Carson (Jim Carter) the beloved butler will be coming back from retirement to help Downton prepare for the royal arrival.
Two cast members who don’t seem to be making an appearance in the movie are Lily James and Ed Speleers, who played Lady Rose and Jimmy Kent respectively.
Lily told People magazine: ‘My character Rose moved off to New York, so it would be farfetched to bring her back.’
‘I would have loved to have come back for a scene, but for a movie it can’t be like a Christmas special and it needs to be a focused storyline’, she said, adding, ‘There was no space for Rose.’
Meanwhile, Ed Speleers said on the subject on This Morning: ‘I haven’t had the call about that… but Downton was a big part of my life. I met the mother of my children there [Asia Macey, wardrobe director], and that place was sort of like a drama school for me in some respects. My career started there and it was a real melting pot with great actors like Hugh Bonneville and Maggie Smith, it was a great place for me to learn. That was a huge part of my life.’

Jason Isaacs really embodied the role of harsh dad Lucian Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, so much that he even made a young Tom Felton cry on set.
The Star Trek Discovery and The OA actor, 55, shares the throwback on this week’s There’s Something About Movies which airs tomorrow night on Sky One and Now TV at 9pm.
‘The very first scene I did with anyone was with little Tom Felton, he was 11 years old and the scene was cut,’ he told host Alan Carr.
‘But in the scene, he touches something and I go: “Don’t touch that Draco!”
‘I hit him with the cane – which has a snake’s head on top and two very sharp fangs, I’d never used it before, it was just handed to me.’
He revealed that when he acted the moment out, the fangs from the snake’s head went right into little Tom’s skin.

‘He looked up with wide eyes filled with tears, we finished the scene and I went: “Tom I’m so sorry!”’
Isaacs recalled that ever the professional, Felton sobbed: ‘That’s alright it was good for the scene.’
Bless him!
‘He’s still my friend 15 years later and he still doesn’t believe I didn’t do it on purpose,’ he joked.
Classic Slytherin carry on.
Isaacs is on the movie-themed panel show this week Micky Flanagan, Michael Sheen Mandeep Dhillon, Rob Delaney and Katherine Ryan.
There’s Something About Movies airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Sky One and NOW TV.

In fact, Natalie replied scathingly, claiming that she was younger than he stated (apparently just having graduated high school) and that he was ‘creepy’ towards her.
It’s certainly not the first time Moby has courted controversy, and he’s made some enemies over the years. Let’s take a look back at his career and relationship history.
(Picture: Steve Granitz/WireImage)
Moby’s real name is Richard Melville Hall, and he was born on 11 September 1965 in Harlem, New York (making him 53 years old).
He began playing guitar and piano aged nine, before playing with punk bands across while he was at university in Conneticut.
Moving into dance music, his first big mainstream hit was Go in 1991, and he continued to make songs that placed highly on the Billboard dance charted throughout the ’90s.
His album Play was his greatest success in the charts, and sold 12 million copies worldwide. It included some of the more well-known songs from Moby, including Porcelain, Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, and Natural Blues.
On top of his music work, Moby is a fervent animal right activist, and has been vegetarian since the early 80s, later turning vegan.
He is the owner of Little Pine – a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles – and the author of four books, including a collection of his photography and two memoirs (including the most recent one with the Natalie Portman claims).
His net worth is thought to be $32 million (£25 million), which would add up given Lana Del Rey mocked him for his palatial apartment with five floors.
In another interview that year he stated that he was ‘disappointed’ he was heterosexual, and said: ‘My two best friends are my two most recent ex-girlfriends. I’ve realised that I’m more comfortable by myself than in a relationship.;
Should Dorne get a dedicated spin-off? (Picture: HBO/Getty)
Game of Thrones star Toby Osmond has called for a Dorne spin-off and we can’t blame him.
Yes, it turns out the new Prince of Dorne (who made his first and last appearance in the final ever episode of the fantasy saga) has got more to give.
When chatting to Metro.co.uk, the GoT newcomer revealed he thinks the house of Dorne has been under-represented and is hoping he gets a chance to live out his royal fantasies in a spin-off.
Not only that, but Toby is hoping Steven Spielberg will take the reins.
Dinosaurs are sort of like dragons, right?
The actor spoke about where he’d like his character’s story line to go, and which parts of Dorne he feels were left unexplored.
He told us: ‘When you translate books into TV there’s always a lot you’re going to lose. I’m pleased Dorne had a fair bit, but I feel like everyone wants to see more Dorne.’
He wants Steven Spielberg at the helm (Picture: HBO)
‘I think there should be a Dornish spin-off,’ he laughed.
Addressing the HBO hit’s directors, Toby teased: ‘And I tell you what, Dan Weiss and David Benioff if you’re doing it, I’m happy to do it.’
Pausing for a moment, he laughed: ‘Whoever does it! Spielberg please, please let me do it.’
Talking about his time on set, Toby revealed that the drivers had joked he’d be getting a spin-off, and he totally fell for it.
‘So, a hilarious thing of film and television sets is a lot of people like a bit of gossip,’ he explained: ‘The worst for it are the drivers.’
The GoT drivers played a joke on him (Picture: Supplied to Metro.co.uk)
Toby revealed where he thinks the spin-off could go (Picture: HBO)
‘They’re sitting in their cars and they have different people with them every time and they love a chat and a bit of banter.
‘So you’ll get the most wild speculation from the drivers, which is set as absolute fact.’
He went on: ‘One driver was like, “you’re playing this Dornish Prince? There’s going to be a spin-off, they’re going to do a spin-off for each of the houses, and they will definitely do a Dornish spin-off.”‘
Don’t get ahead of yourselves, as Toby confirmed: ‘This was wild speculation.’
However, that didn’t stop the actor from believing it, and he even told his agent that it going to happen! Oh, Toby.
He’d want to look at the poignant conversations between Cersei and the Red Viper (Picture: HBO)
‘I was there, a wide eyed fanboy like, “oh my God, there’s going to be a spin-off,’ he laughed.
‘And my agent was like, “any chance of a spin off?” I was like, “yeah the driver said so.”‘
Talking about where they could take the Dorne story line, he continued: ‘They’re such an interesting house and a rich culture.
‘What would be good to explore is the poignant conversations between Cersei and the Red Viper about the treatment of bastards, women and children.
‘You have Kings Landing which sees itself as the centre of the universe, and really you have backstabbing and murder and power politics…
‘Then you have Dorne where people are doing nice murals and sun bathing and growing nice flowers like, “oh what are we embroidering today?”
‘Sure there’s a bit of poisoning going on, but whatever.’

Game of Thrones has now come to an end after the final episode of season eight aired earlier this week.
Now many fans are turning the attention back to the books that the TV show is based on.
Writer George R.R. Martin still has two more novels planned for his A Song of Ice and Fire series, but it has been a long wait since the last one was published.
Here is everything you need to know about the next book The Winds of Winter and when you can expect it to be published.
The most recent book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series was A Dance with Dragons, which was first published in 2011, around the same time that season one of the TV show first aired.
George RR Martin has decided to stay quiet about updates on his progress (Picture: Rex/Shutterstock)
Since then A Game of Thrones has produced eight seasons, and reached the conclusion of the story before the next book has been released.
Back in 2011 he had originally estimated that it would take him around three years to write, but his progress has been delayed by distractions like the TV show, and several spin-off books like Fire & Blood and The World of Ice and Fire.
In 2016, George R.R. Martin confirmed that he had missed a deadline with his publisher, and he later dropped all other projects to focus on writer The Winds of Winter.
George then confirmed that the book would not be released in 2018, but since then he has remained silent on when it could be expected as he puts all his focus on finishing it.
Jon Snow had been killed towards the end of the last book (Picture: HBO)
George has since denied the claims and said in a blog post: ‘Why would I sit for years on completed novels? Why would my publishers – not just here in the US, but all around the world – ever consent to this?
‘They make millions and millions of dollars every time a new Ice & Fire book comes out, as do I. Delaying makes no sense.’
What can we expect from The Winds of Winter?
George R.R. Martin has already released a few sample chapters from the new book including chapters for Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, and Theon Greyjoy.
He also confirmed that there would not be any new viewpoints added for The Winds of Winter, and both Areo Hotah and Melisandre are both set to receive new chapters after having their first viewpoint in A Dance with Dragons.
In a Dance with Dragons readers discover various new twists leading into the next book, including some that don’t feature in the TV show.
Varys still has an important role to play in the books (Picture: HBO)
This includes the revelation of Aegon Targaryen, Danerys’ nephew being alive, although it’s also possible that he is an impostor trying to claim the crown.
Also, Stannis Baratheon is preparing to fight against Ramsey Bolton at Winterfell, while Brienne of Tarth encounters Lady Stoneheart.
The book ends with Varys killing both Maester Pycelle and Kevan Lannister at King’s Landing, and it seems like he is preparing to help Aegon Targaryen become the new King of Westeros.
In a recent blog post George also hinted that the books could end a bit differently to the TV series, saying: ‘I am working in a very different medium than David and Dan, never forget. They had six hours for this final season. I expect these last two books of mine will fill 3000 manuscript pages between them before I’m done.’
‘There are characters who never made it onto the screen at all, and others who died in the show but still live in the books’.
There’s some big hitters arriving on Netflix in June (Picture: Netflix/Metro)
Netflix is set to deliver a number of new shows to pull us away from the summer months, but let’s face it, you’re only going outside to discuss Black Mirror.
While Lucifer’s return has left many adamantly calling for a fifth season renewal and we’re still awaiting When They See Us, Netflix has released its plans for what to expect in June.
So halt your binge and assemble the diary, here’s everything that’s stopping your holiday tan goals on Netflix in June 2019.
Black Mirror season 5 – 5 June
Miley Cyrus stars in Black Mirror (Picture: Netflix)
Following the release of interactive episode Bandersnatch in December, Black Mirror is releasing three new episodes boasting an all-star cast, including Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie and newly assigned ‘Hot Priest’ Andrew Scott.
The episodes themselves look like a varied mix too, jumping from troubled taxi journeys, creepy robot popstar dolls and a reunion between college friends. Will they match up to show highlights San Junipero and The Entire History Of You? We’ll have to see.
Tales Of The City – 7 June
Laura Linney returns as Mary Ann Singleton in this continuation of the Tales Of The City adaptations, which follows prior TV outings Tales Of The City in 1993, More Tales Of The City in 1998, and Further Tales Of The City in 2001.
Along with returning cast members, there’s also some notable new additions in Ellen Page as Mary Ann’s daughter Shawna. While acting as a continuation, it’s likely this tales from San Francisco could pick up a whole new audience when it drops next month.
Designated Survivor season 3 – 7 June
Designated Survivor has been revived by Netflix (Picture: Netflix/ABC)
After being cancelled by ABC, Netflix has revived Kiefer Sutherland’s political drama Designated Survivor for a 10-episode third season.
With a fresh new showrunner in Under The Dome’s Neal Baer following the departure of Keith Eisner, the series might be hoping for a second wave of interest in the vein of Lucifer’s recent boost on Netflix.
Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese – 12 June
Bob Dylan’s historic tour is being given the Netflix treatment (Picture: Jeffrey R. Staab/CBS via Getty Images)
Director Martin Scorsese recounts his experiences attending Bob Dylan’s 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue tour in this documentary, which is also set to feature a rare interview with Dylan himself.
The film also features Joan Baez and Allen Ginsberg, but any chance to dive into the minds of Scorsese and Dylan will be a worthwhile trip for any fan.
A Murder Mystery – 14 June
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston team up for this rom-com murder mystery, which throws a troubled married couple into the realms of a flash action adventure.
Sure, Sandler’s output on Netflix is usually best avoided, but the charms of Aniston and Luke Evans as a wealthy billionaire could make this much more enjoyable than the norm.
Jessica Jones season 3 – coming soon in June
Jessica Jones will return this month (Picture: Netflix)
The Marvel and Netflix partnership officially ends with the final season of Jessica Jones, following the cancellations of Daredevil, The Punisher, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.
The second season of Jessica Jones was a mixed affair held together by Krysten Ritter, so we’ll have to see if the show’s final bow will redeem its name and memory. With the return of David Tennant’s Kilgrave, it certainly has a fighting chance.

Keanu Reeves may just be the nicest man in Hollywood (Picture: Getty Images)
Keanu Reeves may just be the nicest man in Hollywood (sorry Tom Hanks).
A new story about the John Wick star is making its way around the internet, with a fan revealing how 18 years ago the actor paid for an ice cream cone he didn’t want simply to sign the receipt for a fan.
‘In honor of John Wick 3 I have a Keanu Reeves story,’ shared James Dator, writing: ‘Keanu came to the movie theater I worked at in Sydney in 2001. He was working on the Matrix series at the time. It’s a quiet, Wednesday morning — almost nobody is seeing movies.
‘I’m working the box office, bored as hell and suddenly this dude walks up in jeans, a leather jacket and a horse riding helmet. A full ass, weird equestrian looking helmet.
‘It takes me a solid 30 seconds to ignore the helmet and realize it’s Keanu Reeves.’
James went on reveal he bought a ticket for Johnny Depp film From Hell and that despite being starstruck, he decided to offer Keanu his employee discount so that he would have to sign the sheet and he would therefore obtain his autograph.
Keanu however knew this would be against the rule and was ‘seemingly confused by my offer’ so James charged him the normal price and kicks himself for not just asking for the autograph.
But Keanu knows everything, and James revealed that ‘2 minutes later there’s a knock on the door behind me that leads into the box office’.
‘I assume it’s my manager. It’s Keanu. “I realized you probably wanted my autograph,” he says. “So I signed this.” He hands me a receipt from the concessions stand that he signed on the back,’ he continued.
‘He then casually throws an ice cream cone in the trash can and sees his movie. I realize later that he bought an ice cream cone he didn’t want, just to get receipt paper so he could scribble his autograph for a 16-year-old idiot.’
Sadly for Dator though, the autograph has been lost to time, revealing: ‘Honestly, it’s either somewhere in the attic of my moms house or lost in the move.’

Doctor Who filming took place in Gloucester for series 12 (Picture: SWNS)
Doctor Who has landed in Gloucester as work on series 12 continues.
Excited fans watched on as scenes from the new series was shot in the town centre.
The Doctor herself, played by Jodie Whittaker, wasn’t on set, but actress Jo Martin was spotted in character as a Gloucester city tour guide.
There wasn’t a lot of action taking place but a camera crew were set up outside Gloucester Cathedral and extras could be seen wandering around on set.
People who saw filming unfold said they were happy that the hit sci-fi show was in their area.
One fan told the BBC: ‘It’s amazing to have a show that you’re a really big fan of filming in your home town.
‘Another added that they were ‘hoping’ to see Whittaker but ‘even seeing some extras, or just the production crew is pretty cool to see anyway.’

Details of the plot are being kept tightly under wraps, but the on-location filming is said to be part of the episode that sees the return of the Judoon.
The rhino-like Intergalactic police force will come face to face with the thirteenth Doctor for the first time.
The Judoon are making a comeback (Picture: BBC)
Revealing the Judoon are making a comeback, showrunner Chris Chibnall said: ‘The Judoon are storming back into Doctor Who in full force, and the streets of Gloucester aren’t safe. If anyone has anything to hide, confess now.’
Swearing the force would be ‘taking no prisoners’, he added: ‘The whole team on Doctor Who are delighted and scared in equal measure to welcome them back: one of many treats we’ve got in store for viewers next series.’
The ‘Judoon platoon upon the moon’ first terrorised David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor and his companion Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) in series three.
Doctor Who returns to BBC One in 2020.

Eurovision has revealed they used incorrect jury results for the 2019 song contest, causing a change in the leaderboard that sees the UK lose five additional points.
The correction sees Sweden move up to fifth place and Norway down to sixth, while Germany move to the second to last position.
The Eurovision Broadcast Union confirmed the new results in a statement which revealed that ‘due to a human error an incorrect aggregated result was used’.
They added that ‘the correct jury points have now been added to the scoreboard and the revised totals for each participating broadcaster, and their country, have been published on eurovision.tv.’
In their statement, they added that they ‘deeply regret that this error was not identified earlier and will review the processes and controls in place to prevent this from happening again’.

Duncan Laurence and his song Arcade beat 25 other nations to be named 2019 champion, taking over the reigns from Netta, who won for Israel in 2018 with Toy.
The 25-year-old, who was the firm favourite to win for months, finished with 492 points after a gripping finale to the song contest, which saw him win in the final seconds.
It was a disappointing night for the UK, with Michael Rice finishing dead last; his song Bigger Than Us failed to impress with the juries and the public – receiving just three points in the popular vote, and 11 overall.
Corrected Eurovision results
Netherlands (498 points)
Italy (472 points)
Russia (370 points)
Switzerland (364 points)
Sweden (334 points)
Norway (331 points)
North Macedonia (305 points)
Azerbaijan (302 points)
Australia (284 points)
Iceland (232 points)
Czech Republic (157 points)
Denmark (120 points)
Cyprus (109 points)
Malta (107 points)
Slovenia (105 points)
France (105 points)
Albania (90 points)
Serbia (89 points)
San Marino (77 points)
Estonia (76 points)
Greece (74 points)
Spain (54 points)
Israel (35 points)
Belarus (31 points)
Germany (24 points)
United Kingdom (11 points)
It’s more controversy for the 2019 contest though, after Iceland used the Eurovision Song Contest to protest against the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and the violation of Palestinian human rights.
As the country’s points were announced during the results, the band, Hatari, were seen on camera holding up banners in support of Palestine.
Cameras quickly moved away from the band, and hosts Bar Refaeli and Ezra Tel – looking incredibly uncomfortable – moved on to the next score.
Protests were held in Tel Aviv against the backdrop of the Eurovision Song Contest, calling for a boycott of the contest to support Palestinians.
The full EBU statement
The EBU can confirm, following standard review practices, we have discovered that due to a human error an incorrect aggregated result was used. This had no impact on the calculation of points derived from televoting across the 41 participating countries and the overall winner and Top 4 songs of the Contest remain unchanged.
‘To respect both the artists and EBU Members which took part, we wish to correct the final results in accordance with the rules. The correct jury points have now been added to the scoreboard and the revised totals for each participating broadcaster, and their country, have been published on eurovision.tv.
‘The EBU and its partners digame and Ernst & Young deeply regret that this error was not identified earlier and will review the processes and controls in place to prevent this from happening again.’

Can’t wait for Star Trek Discovery season 3? (Picture: Netflix)
Star Trek: Discovery fans are still reeling from that shocking season two ending and with season three still a long way off, we round up some other sci-fi Netflix series to get your teeth into.
Sci-fi seems to be having a bit of a moment lately, with an endless plethora of futuristic and dystopian dramas to binge.
Here are a few options to keep sci-fi lovers occupied in the meantime.
Altered Carbon
This cyber-punk noir series received mixed reviews when it came out last year but a second outing is currently in production.
Altered Carbon is more on the trashy end of the sci-fi spectrum with plenty of violence and nudity interwoven with the intricate storyline.
The series is based on the novel by Richard K Morgan and delves deep into the idea of the ‘digitised consciousness’ so nice for a good mind-bending thrill.
Altered Carbon has a 66 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 90 percent audience score.
Season one is on Netflix now.
The OA
The OA is a show with one of those unwavering cult followings and truly defines the term ‘mind-bending’.
Part two came out earlier this year to drastically differing reactions – giant psychic octopus anyone?
It’s one of those ‘you have to watch it to appreciate it’ kind of show so worth giving a try.
The OA has an 84 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 79 percent audience score.
Seasons one and two are on Netflix now.
The Umbrella Academy
The Umbrella Academy burst onto screens earlier this year and immediately developed a dedicated fanbase.
From the mind of My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, this off-beat superhero comedy-drama boasts a high profile cast with viewers swooning over the dreamy Richard Sheehan and Tom Hopper.
Season two is on the way already much to the delight of fans.
The Umbrella Academy has a 77 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 89 percent audience score.
Season one is on Netflix now.
The Society
One of the newer ones on this list, The Society is Netflix’s dystopian take on Lord of the Flies.

Nearly four years after Peter Andre wed Emily Macdonagh the pair still look blissfully in love.
The happy couple were seen hand in hand on Wednesday as they made a loved up appearance at Radio 2 and then made time to greet those who had completed their gold Duke Of Edinburgh awards.
‘What a lovely day at Buckingham Palace presenting the Duke Of Edinburgh gold awards to some very deserving people,’ shared Peter on Instagram.
The pair met in 2012 when Emily was a medical student, and they welcomed their first child, daughter Amelia, in January 2014; she was Peter’s third child after welcoming Junior and Princess with ex-wife Katie Price.

They wed on 11 July 2015 in Exeter at Mamhead House, then welcomed their son Theo in November 2016 – but it seems 46-year-old Peter has been getting broody lately as he admitted to reminiscing about all of those ‘joyful’ new baby feeling and revealed he would ‘love’ to try for another child with wife Emily, 29.
He may have some trouble convincing his other half though, after she revealed she has been trying to keep him ‘on the other side of the bed’.

**Spoilers for The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 below**
The Handmaid’s Tale season three is just days away with fans gearing up for another emotionally draining yet hopefully liberating series.
As we prepare to rejoin Elisabeth Moss’ June in Gilead, Hulu has released a map of Gilead showing the current political state of the dystopian theocracy.
Love a good fictional map.
For those who need a refresher, Gilead is the former United States of America which has been taken over by Christian fundamentalists as conceived by Margaret Atwood in the acclaimed 1985 novel.
The world created by Atwood in the 80s still fascinates readers and audiences as some elements frighteningly echo society today.
‘All roads lead to Resistance’ (Picture: Hulu)
The map shows the familiar shape of North America as we know it but has been divided up into unfamiliar districts and colonies.
The areas in yellow are Wasteland and Colonies Districts, the areas in blue are districts loyal to the Republic of Gilead, the areas in pink are districts under conflict and the areas in purple are rebel-occupied areas.
What’s noteworthy is the little patch of red located in New Gilead which looks to be in Massachusetts – where June is.
Let’s hope this little spark is a hint at June’s successful mobilising of rebels.
The last we saw her was in the frustrating season two finale where she decided to stay behind to find her daughter Hannah instead of escaping north to Canada.
We’re hoping this works out as another season of June stuck in that Waterford house seems unbearable at this point.
The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 is released on Hulu on June 5.

Keeley Hawes and Toby Stephens head the cast of 50s-set drama Summer Of Rockets (Picture: BBC)
It seems that Keeley Hawes has barely been off our screens for the past 12 months – and now she’s appearing in yet another TV drama set to debut on Wednesday night.
Yup, following Bodyguard, Mrs Wilson,Traitors and The Durrells the actress is now starring in Summer of Rockets, which takes us right back to the Cold War-era days of the Soviet Union, when the world lived in fear of nuclear war.
The six-part series has an impressive cast starring alongside Hawes, not to mention the talents of writer-director Stephen Poliakoff (Dancing On The Edge) on board.
But just when do you get to see it? Here’s what you need to know…
What time is Summer Of Rockets on BBC Two on Wednesday night?
Summer Of Rockets kicks off on BBC Two on Wednesday night at 9pm.
There are six one-hour episodes in the series, with the next episode due to air on BBC Two next week at the same time.
You can also catch up with the series on BBC iPlayer.
What year is Summer Of Rockets set in?
The series takes place in the UK in 1958, the year that the Soviet Union launched the first intercontinental ballistic missile – leaving the world afraid of where their capabilities might lead.
‘1958 was an extraordinary year,’ Poliakoff explained.
‘It saw the end of the debs [debutantes] being presented to the queen. It was also a time of great fear of nuclear war.
‘The Cold War was at its absolute height and it ended with the Notting Hill riots – a reminder of the racial tensions that were bubbling up.
‘All these things came together within a few weeks in the summer of 1958, that’s why I’ve always been fascinated by that time and thought it was a great setting for a drama.’
Who is in the cast of Summer Of Rockets alongside Keeley Hawes?

The series also stars Toby Stephens (Die Another Day, Jane Eyre), as Russian-Jewish inventor Samuel Petruhkin, who specialises in designing hearing aids, and whose skills see him chosen by MI5 for a secret mission.
Linus Roache (Vikings, Homeland) plays Conservative MP Richard Shaw and Hawes plays his wife Kathleen – a couple who are hiding secrets in spite of their seemingly perfect marriage.
Timothy Spall (who is also currently appearing in ITV series Hatton Garden) appears as aristocrat Lord Arthur Wallington, while other cast members include Lily Sacofsky (Bancroft), Mark Bonnar (Line Of Duty) and acting legend Claire Bloom (Brideshead Revisited, Trial and Retribution).

Looks like that Arya Stark spin-off isn’t happening (Picture: HBO)Game Of Thrones may have seemingly seeded room for an Arya Stark spin-off in the season eight finale, but those dreams have been swiftly shattered by HBO.
The season eight finale saw Arya (Maisie Williams) reveal how she planned to venture west ‘where the map of Westeros ends’ – leaving behind her siblings Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Sansa (Sophie Turner).
Considering no-one knows what lies beyond the map, it left many to speculate whether this could be teeing up one of the many planned spin-offs for the future.
HBO programming president, Casey Bloys, however, has since strolled up to the party and popped the balloons – explaining how they don’t want to pursue any spin-off shows connected to characters from Game Of Thrones.
The finale left open Arya’s journey (Picture: HBO)
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about if an Arya spin-off could be on the cards, Casey said: ‘Nope, nope, nope. No. Part of it is, I do want this show – this Game Of Thrones, Dan and David’s show – to be its own thing.
‘I don’t want to take characters from this world that they did beautifully and put them off into another world with someone else creating it.
‘I want it to let it be the artistic piece they’ve got. That’s one of the reasons why I’m not trying to do the same show over. George has a massive, massive world; there are so many ways in. That’s why we’re trying to do things that feel distinct – and to not try and redo the same show.
‘That’s probably one of the reasons why, right now, a sequel or picking up any of the other characters doesn’t make sense for us.’
The only confirmed spin-off is a prequel set thousands of years before Game Of Thrones, penned by screenwriter Jane Goldman and Game Of Thrones author George RR Martin.
The show, which stars Naomi Watts and John Simm, is said to start filming in ‘early summer’, with a release date expected at the earliest in 2020.
You can catch-up on episodes of Game Of Thrones on NOW TV.

‘I appreciate you taking the time to include me in the process and will absolutely continue to support the sport and your organisation as a fan. Thank you for your understanding and mutual respect.’
