Who did Amber pick in the recoupling on Love Island last night?

Decisions, decisions… (Pictures: ITV)

We’ve been presented with yet another love triangle on Love Island, and, with Greg O’Shea going up against Michael Griffiths to try and win the heart of Amber Gill, it’s been an absolute doozy.

Michael previously told Amber he still liked her, despite deciding there were multiple issues in their seemingly issue-free relationship during the Casa Amor split, dumping her for Joanna Chimonides, and insisting multiple times to multiple people that he no longer had feelings for Amber when she returned.

Not long before his fresh revelation to the beauty therapist, Amber also starting being wooed by rugby player and aspiring solicitor Greg O’Shea, who seems like an all-round sweetie so far.

So, with this dilemma on her hands, who did Amber choose?

Who did Amber pick in the recoupling last night?

In a shock decision which rocked the Love Island villa, Amber pied Michael and picked Greg.

‘It’s hard choosing whether to go with heart or head, or a mixture of both, or what the hell you should do,’ she said at the recoupling.

She later told her new beau that she wouldn’t deal with Michael’s behaviour in the outside world so she refused to accept it in the villa, and he said he was ‘delighted’.

He later said in the Beach Hut: ‘It took guts for her to do what she did.’

Before the recoupling, some of Amber’s fellow Islanders warned her against choosing Michael, with Belle Hassan telling her in Friday’s episode: ‘He has completely betrayed your trust and picked someone else over you.

‘If I was in your position, I would start something new with someone else.’

Word.

After the recoupling aired, Joanna  – who was brutally dumped from the villa earlier this week – took to Instagram to say: ‘I am actually really proud of her, I’m not going to lie.

‘That was probably one of the hardest decisions that she was going to have to make and she did so well.

‘Good on her!’

Ellie Goulding is set to tie the knot with art dealer fiancé Caspar Jopling next month – and by the sounds of it, she’s going to have a seriously A-list guestlist for the big day.

The Burn singer will walk down the aisle in Yorkshire in August, and will hold a VIP reception for 300 guests at Castle Howard stately home.

According to The Sun, Ellie has invited Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie as well as their mum Sarah Ferguson, who Ellie is close friends with.

Given that Ellie is rumoured to have dated Prince Harry in the past, he’d probably going to have an invite drop on his doorstep, but it’s unlikely he and Meghan Markle will attend.

The couple gave birth to their first child, Archie Harrison, earlier this year so are likely to give the event a miss.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are expected to attend after Ellie sang at their 2011 wedding, leaving their children at home for the evening.

Other famous faces that have bagged an invite include Rita Ora and Ed Sheeran who are friends of the singer.

The wedding is set to be festival-themed, with VIP pods for guests to stay in, golf buggies to ferry people around the site and a vegan menu with Bollinger champagne to wash it all down.

Ellie and Caspar have been dating since 2017, and announced their engagement in August 2018 with a notice in The Times newspaper.

It read: ‘The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands.’

Ellie previously told Jonathan Ross about the engagement: ‘I think he proposed a bit sooner than he thought he was going to.

‘I think he got a bit over excited and proposed the week before he was planning.

‘We were having maybe a couple of drinks and we were doing a Jigsaw puzzle. He likes them. I think it was quite an easy one. Probably 400 [pieces].

‘Anyway I think he was getting bored of it and then he proposed. It was quite romantic for some reason.’

The Big Bang Theory without canned laughter is really uncomfortable

The Big Bang Theory cast in final episode
A Youtuber has removed all the laughter from a scene from The Big Bang Theory (Picture: CBS)

If you take away the laugh tracks from Big Bang Theory, it’s actually pretty awkward, it seems.

In a bid to prove that the CBS comedy show isn’t funny, a salty Youtuber took away all the fake laughs from a scene in the third episode of season four of Big Bang Theory.

In it, Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) hide out from Sheldon’s new girlfriend Amy (Mayim Bialik).

While the group watch a show in Penny’s apartment, Raj says: ‘Ah. Nothing makes beer taste better than cool clear Rocky Mountain spring water. Where are the Rocky Mountains, anyway?’

‘Philadelphia,’ Howard responds. An obvious lie.

But without the laughter, the joke actually seems kinda odd.

‘Really? I thought they were out West someplace,’ Raj says also not getting the joke.

‘Think about it, Raj. Where did the movie Rocky take place?’ Howard adds.

Yes, Philadelphia. Funny. Sort of.

Wait, suddenly, we’re wondering whether Howard’s a bit mean. Or does it just seem that way without a verbal queue of the punchline?

We have to be honest here. Though we love Big Bang Theory, the jokes just don’t seem to land in the same way without the canned laughter. Who knew it was so essential?

We’ll be taking all of our sitcoms with the pre-recorded giggles from now on please.

Ryan Adams resurfaces after abuse claims as he promises to speak out soon

Ryan Adams has resurfaced online after being accused of sexual misconduct and emotional abuse by several women including musician Phoebe Bridgers and his ex-wife and Tangled star Mandy Moore.

The Come Pick Me Up singer, whose tour was cancelled after the allegations were made, put out a statement on Twitter, referring to ‘lies’ and ‘madness’.

‘I have a lot to say. I am going to. Soon,’ he wrote. ‘Because the truth matters. I know who I am. What I am. It’s time people know. Past time.

‘All the beauty in a life cannot be reduced to rubble for lies. This madness. My work was a map for the lost. Not a billboard. So soon.’

Back in February, the 44-year-old was accused of sexual misconduct and emotional abuse by seven women, including an underage fan.

In a New York Times report, musician Ryan was accused of being ‘manipulative, obsessive and controlling’.

Ryan Adams

It was claimed the singer/songwriter was ’emotionally abusive’ in relationships and made ‘sexual advances’ while offering to help the careers of his accusers, ‘severing ties’ with them if he was rejected.

Adams denied the accusations made against him and insisted they were ‘exaggerated, misrepresented and outright false’ in a statement shared via Twitter.

At the time, he said: ‘As someone who has always tried to spread joy through my music and my life, hearing that some people believe I caused them pain saddens me greatly.

‘I am resolved to work to be the best man I can be. And I wish everyone compassion, understanding and healing.

Ryan Adams
Ryan’s ex-wife Mandy Moore was one of the women to speak out against him (Picture: WireImage)

‘But the picture that this article paints is upsettingly inaccurate. Some of its details are misrepresented; some are exaggerated; some are outright false.

‘I would never have inappropriate interactions with someone I thought was underage. Period.’

Adams continued: ‘I am not a perfect man and I have made many mistakes. To anyone I have ever hurt, however unintentionally, I apologise deeply and unreservedly.’

The musician’s guitarist Todd Wisenbaker later branded him a ‘monster’, saying: ‘There are excuses and denials for everything.

‘Some time ago I told him to get help and he asked me to help him. I don’t regret and will never regret trying to help someone in real need – I believe in forgiveness, redemption and recovery, but my life has become a complete s***storm of someone else’s utter delusion.

‘I didn’t want to say anything because I’m actively afraid for the safety of my family, but I do realise that I have a responsibility to speak up. The women that spoke out are brave beyond words.’

Arrow brings back Brandon Routh as Superman 12 years after he first wore iconic cape

Brandon Routh will be reprising his role of Superman in a new Arrow-verse crossover, 12 years since he first put on the cape.

However, the star will not be going it alone as the Man Of Steel – with the Crisis of Infinite Earths crossover also bringing in a second Superman as world’s collide.

Tyler Hoechlin, who is currently playing Superman in the Arrowverse on the CW, isn’t giving up his title for anyone – and instead they will play two alternate versions of the hero in an all-powerful crossover, according to Deadline.

Actor Brandon first played the Kryptonian superhero back in 2006 for film Superman Returns, but has since become The Atom (Ray Palmer) in the ever-expanding Arrow universe on TV.

Over the past three years he’s appeared in Vixen, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as The Atom – to make matters more complicated.

After the news was announced, Brandon took to Twitter to confirm his excitement and said: ‘Honored, humbled, grateful, and still pinching myself.’

Warner Bros
The Arrowverse is about to get complicated (Picture: Warner Bros)

Crisis On Infinite Earths will be based on the comic books of the same name from the 1980s and will bring together all of the current on-screen Arrowverse shows and heroes.

This includes the new Batwoman series fronted by Ruby Rose, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and, of course, Arrow.

It will air as a five-hour event – with the first three hours airing in December and the second half premiering in 2020.

Warner Bros

If the comics are anything to go by though, prepare for a gamechanger – as the 12-issue limited series essentially reset the entire DC Universe that had been created up until that point.

‘We found really unique ways to make the season fresh that we never expected, thanks to Crisis,’ The Flash executive producer Eric Wallace told Entertainment Weekly of what the series has meant for them.

‘This season [of The Flash] is really divided up in a way that the episodes before the crossover are pre-Crisis episodes, then the back half of the season is all about dealing with the fallout from the events of Crisis.’

In the meantime, the Arrow and Legends Of Tomorrow team have been making the most of their time at the annual Comic-Con in San Diego.

Crisis Of Infinite Earths will air in the US later this year, and in the UK at an unconfirmed date.

The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here: Extra Camp presenters are dropping like flies… less than an hour after Joe Swash revealed he would be quitting the show, Scarlett Moffatt has also revealed she won’t be returning.

Scarlett shared the news with her followers alongside a photo of her, Joe and Joel Dommett, dressed as superheroes on the show.

She wrote: ‘After chatting to one of my besties @realjoeswashy and seeing his Insta post I thought I would do mine too.

‘For 3 years I have enjoyed a jungle life, being crowned queen of the jungle and having the greatest time presenting extra camp with Swashy and Joel who I now class as best friends.

‘The jungle absolutely changed my life and I am massively grateful to everybody who voted for me whilst in the jungle and for your constant support to date and everybody who tuned in to extra camp.’

She thanked the team working on the show, and revealed that the reason she will not be returning is down to a secret project she has been working on with her family.

Scarlett added: ‘Massive thank you to all the team including Richard, Angela, Toni, pecks and of course @antanddec and @hollywilloughby @joeldommett and @realjoeswashy but I have got a project that I’ve been working on (alongside my family) that I am very very excited to announce soon.

‘And because of this unfortunately I will not be presenting this year’s extra camp but I will certainly be tuning in LONG LIVE THE JUNGLE’.

Like Joe, Scarlett was a previous I’m A Celeb… winner, having been crowned queen of the jungle in 2016.

She joined Extra Camp as one of the presenters in 2017, alongside Joe and Joel.

Joe had taken to Instagram an hour before Scarlett to tell fans that he would be stepping down after 10 years of hosting Extra Camp following the birth of his son Rex.

He revealed he didn’t want to spend three months away from his family for filming in Australia.

Scarlett’s new TV project is thought to involve her jetting out to Namibia to live in a tiny village as part of a social experiment for Channel 4.

She told The Mirror: ‘It is something different. It is with my family… honestly, I can’t wait to tell everyone as I am so excited. I have probably said too much… Maybe it involves foreign travel.’

The new hosts have yet to be announced, but we’re keeping an eye on all previous winners as there seems to be a theme.

Late Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew was honoured with a 21 Wookie salute at Comic Con on Friday.

Conan O’Brien organised the moment, which saw 21 cosplayers dressed as Chewbacca and other Wookie’s come out on stage to offer the poignant salute.

‘This year we lost a member of the Star Wars family. The great Peter Mayhew passed away,’ said Conan.

‘So tonight we’re going to do something to honour Peter’s memory. I thought it’d be fitting to give him the send-off he deserves. This is something that can only happen here at Comic-Con: a 21-Wookie salute.’

‘Wookies, begin your salute,’ Conan concluded.

Mayhew, who was best known for playing Chewbacca in the Star Wars films, died aged 74.

The actor, who stood at an impressive 7ft1in, passed away on the evening of 30 April at his Texas home, his family confirmed in a statement.

Along with dedicated fans, Star Wars cast members, producers and directors, including J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson, led a ‘universe in mourning’ for a ‘kind and gentle’ friend of the franchise.

An official announcement about Mayhew’s death said: ‘The family of Peter Mayhew, with deep love and sadness, regrets to share the news that Peter has passed away.

‘He left us the evening of April 30, 2019 with his family by his side in his North Texas home.’

Mayhew gave life to the character back in 1977, when he appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope.

He went on to become a beloved character in The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return Of The Jedi (1983), Revenge Of The Sith (2005) and The Force Awakens (2015).

The actor was replaced by Joonas Suotamo for later entries The Last Jedi (2017), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), and the forthcoming The Rise Of Skywalker.

They secretly shared the role in The Force Awakens for the more active scenes and in a tribute, Mayhew’s successor Suotamo expressed just how ‘kind’ a mentor he was for stepping into some big shoes.

Game Of Thrones’ Maisie Williams reckons Arya Stark is basically Dora The Explorer these days

Game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams has admitted that she hopes that Arya Stark has embraced her inner Dora the Explorer after setting sail west of Westeros.

The star appeared at San Diego Comic-Con to celebrate the show with a host of her co-stars who all raised a coffee cup toast as an in-joke about the accidental editing fail that plagued the final season.

During the talk, the team discussed the surprising backlash of the final season’s quality and even got booed when they defended it.

But talking of Arya’s future, Maisie joked: ‘I’m sure she’s having a wonderful time, like Dora The Explorer minus the bob, but maybe she’s cut a bob in, y’know?

‘West of Westeros might like the bob, so who knows?’

Bobs are always in fashion somewhere, Maisie!

After 10 years working on the show, Maisie and the gang said goodbye to the fantasy epic, with warrior Arya embracing her inner explorer and heading off to pastures new.

However, while other stars have put a pin in the world that they created, Maisie said that she would be up for a spin-off for Arya – with one condition.

‘If they invent zips and don’t have leather costumes that are laced up, that would be cool,’ Maisie told Entertainment Weekly at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday.

Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) questioned: ‘That’s all you would need?’

‘Yeah,’ Maisie replied simply.

Jacob Anderson, who plays Grey Worm, also said he would like to return as long as he got to spend his days in the Caribbean

‘If Grey Worm stays in Naath and we’re shooting in, like, Barbados, I’m down,’ he joked.

To be fair, that sounds like the perfect job.

Game Of Thrones is available for catch-up on NOW TV.

YouTuber Emily Hartridge was seen receiving an e-scooter as a gift just days before she died in a fatal crash.

The presenter, who tragically died at age 35 earlier this month, shared a video of her boyfriend, Jacob Hazell, surprising her with the gift on 8 July.

‘Oh my god! Two scooters!’ she exclaims, before Jacob tells her: ‘This one you can use for work, it’s all electric, apparently the best one in the game.’

More recently, Jacob has spoken out about mental health on his Instagram.

Mentioning that he was asked to write a post for a male mental health charity, he explained: ‘My names Jake, I’m 26 years old, 15 months clean and sober, 11 months out of a mental health hospital, and a week ago I found out that my girlfriend had passed away.

‘Ever since I got into recovery, my mental health got worse. Simply because I had lost my crutch in drugs and alcohol. The best thing I did, throughout all of the anxious days, panic attacks and days where I could see no light was TALK about it.

‘I used social media to do so, as I had gotten to a point in life that I was no longer scared to tell people how I felt. I had felt like that for long enough.

‘In this time I’ve met amazing people in the mental health community, Emily Hartridge being at the top of that list. We always said this community could be so much bigger if more people felt free and safe to talk about their mental health.

‘Right now I am not ok, but telling you all that, is ok. If I were to drink and use drugs throughout this horrible period in my life, it would fix NOTHING, it would only delay the grieving.’

https://www.instagram.com/p/B0ILXi2gjOW/

He went on to acknowledge that he’s learnt ‘so much’ about his mental health by vocalising his struggles.

Jacob finished the post by saying: ‘I would like to dedicate this post to the love of my life, Emily Hartridge, Rest In Peace my angel.’

Emily’s death was confirmed in a statement written by her family on her Instagram page.

‘Hi everyone. This is a horrible thing to have to say over Instagram but we know many of you were expecting to see Emily today and this is the only way to contact you all at once,’ it read.

‘Emily was involved in an accident yesterday and passed away. We all loved her to bits and she will never be forgotten.

‘She has touched so many lives it’s hard to imagine things without her. She was a very special person xxx.’

Donald Trump offers to guarantee A$AP Rocky’s bail money as rapper remains in custody

President Donald Trump has ‘offered to personally vouch’ for A$AP Rocky’s bail money as the rapper continues to remain behind bars in Sweden.

A$AP has been detained following a fight with two men who he claims wouldn’t stop following the rapper and harassing his crew; the rapper has been in police custody for two weeks after handing himself.

Taking to Twitter, Trump revealed he had ‘had a very good call with @SwedishPM Stefan Löfven’ who reportedly claims that A$AP would be ‘treated fairly’.

He added: ‘Likewise, I assured him that A$AP was not a flight risk and offered to personally vouch for his bail, or an alternative.

‘Our teams will be talking further, and we agreed to speak again in the next 48 hours!’

The Swedish prime minister issued a statement earlier Saturday saying he would be glad to speak with Trump about A$AP Rocky’s detention but that his government ‘cannot and will not attempt to influence prosecutors or courts’.

‘I understand that President Trump has a personal interest in the case….He has expressed the desire for a conversation with me, which is certainly positive,’ Lofven said.

‘I will explain that the Swedish judicial system is independent. In Sweden, everyone is equal before the law, and this includes visitors from other countries.’

https://www.instagram.com/tv/BzazIJKHio6/?utm_source=ig_embed

A$AP posted video footage of the alleged incident on his social media which he claims proves it was the two men who started the incident; he later had to cancel a string of concerts due to being held by police.

New reports suggested that he could be held for a further week while authorities do their investigations but several celebrities have spoken out to get him home with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West both becoming involved in the campaign and lobbying Donald Trump.

A$AP’s lawyers have said that his treatment is ‘unjust’ based on the circumstances, and have compared it to last year’s incident involving G Eazy, and said A$AP is being victimised for the colour of his skin.

G Eazy was arrested after he was found with cocaine on his person and got in a fight with a bouncer, but was released just a day and a half later.

We can’t deal (Picture: @kimkardashian/REX)

Kim Kardashian has melted everyone’s hearts by sharing a snap of her two sons, Saint and Psalm, cuddling up together.

We can’t deal with the cuteness in the slightest.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared the adorable photo of her boys appearing to both be asleep next to each other on Instagram, writing: ‘Saint said he’s gonna pretend to sleep with his brother.’

She added: ‘He always wants a pic to capture every moment. You have no idea how sweet my boys are!’

Fans were living for the adorable snap, with one telling Kim: ‘This pic is just everything.’

Another added: ‘Absolutely beautiful,’ with one more viewer asserting: ‘Too much cuteness in one photo.’

https://www.instagram.com/p/B0JHHnKg9uF/

Definitely agreed.

And it’s not the first time the boys have shown their brotherly bond, with Kim recently sharing another snap of the pair cuddled up in bed.

With 3-year-old Saint putting a protective arm around Psalm, who was born back in May, it’s clear he’s taking his big brother duties seriously.

The 38-year-old has made it clear that it’s not just mum duties she’s acing recently, after she’s been raising awareness for the Free Rocky campaign, following A$AP Rocky’s arrest in Stockholm earlier this month.

A$AP has allegedly been living in ‘inhumane conditions’ in jail, prompting a slew of politicians, rappers and celebrities to protest his release.

Kanye West apparently encouraged Kim to reach out to Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner, for help. Kim, who is training to be a lawyer, already has a relationship with Kushner due to her previous work on criminal justice reform.

Kimmy K appeared to confirm the claims when she tweeted: ‘Thank you @realDonaldTrump, @SecPompeo, Jared Kushner and everyone involved with the efforts to Free ASAP Rocky & his two friends.

‘Your commitment to justice reform is so appreciated.’

Later, the President tweeted: ‘Just had a very good call with @SwedishPM Stefan Löfven who assured me that American citizen A$AP Rocky will be treated fairly.

‘Likewise, I assured him that A$AP was not a flight risk and offered to personally vouch for his bail, or an alternative.’

Henry Cavill beat 207 actors to play Geralt in The Witcher and annoyed bosses to give him role

Henry Cavill may be Superman to some, but to many he’s about to become Geralt in the TV adaptation of popular game franchise, The Witcher.

But the decision to cast the star was definitely not taken lightly, with executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich revealing he was one of 208 options to take on the role.

Speaking at San Diego Comic Con, where the first full-length trailer of the series dropped and won fans over as the ‘new Game Of Thrones’, Lauren said that the choice for who to play the leading man was not taken lightly.

She told the audience: ‘Henry is a huge fan… I met him at the very beginning of the process. He said, “I would love to play this character.”

‘I said, “Henry, you’re amazing, but we haven’t even started thinking about casting yet.” Then I met 207 other possible Geralts.’

However, it seems that Cavill doesn’t take no for an answer, with Lauren saying that he was ‘really annoying’ in his pursuit for the role.

Eventually, they relented and gave it to him.

‘Once I started writing I couldn’t get Henry’s voice out of my head for the character. He embodies Geralt in a way that I don’t think anybody else could,’ she told Entertainment Weekly.

She added: ‘I think people are going to be surprised by how many monsters we were able to do and how integral they are to the story.

‘It really feels like the monster stories become analogs for bigger things happening in the world right now in different political phenomenons.’

Cavill also spoke about bagging the role at San Diego Comic-Con, explaining how achieving the look of Geralt took some time to achieve.

He will be playing the solitary monster hunter tasked with looking after a princess, with chaos and trouble ensuing in the fantasy series.

Though Witchers are indeed human, they’ve been chemically and magically altered to make them the perfect weapons for combating the supernatural beasts and monsters that haunt the strange land known as The Continent.

Armed with magical powers, heightened reflexes and special abilities, they are able to take on beasts that would kill any other human – though of course, they’re not invincible.

In the midst of the medieval world he lives, Geralt will inadvertently find himself at the centre of huge political and royal intrigues as well as cataclysmic events.

The Witcher launches on Netflix at the end of this year.

Sugababes original trio reunite to tease comeback and it’s officially 2001 again

The Sugababes original trio – Mutya Buena, Siobhán Donaghy, and Keisha Buchanan – have reunited and are teasing a comeback.

We’ve missed them like a Hole In The Head.

Mutya, 34, sent fans into a bit of a meltdown when she shared the snap of the three girls hanging out in the studio.

‘Me and my beauties today #studiovibez,’ she wrote, before reposting messages from fans like ‘They’re back!’ and ‘On their way to save music!’

‘My girls,’ Siobhán, 35, wrote when she reposted the photo.

Although the trio released their debut album One Touch together in 2000, Siobhán made her departure in 2001 at the age of 17.

Speaking about her exit in 2003, she explained: ‘Really, it’s about how being in the Sugababes made me feel. I learnt a lot – about how awful people can be.’

She added to The Independent: ‘But it’s not completely melancholy and about depression. It is positive. I was very bitter when I left the Sugababes. But one day I woke up and realised: s*** happens. Get over it.’

Mutya went on to leave in 2005, with Keisha, the last remaining original member, making her exit in 2009.

10 years on, fans are well and truly hyped for the OG girls to be back together.

‘Been rooting for these girls since forever ever,’ one wrote on Twitter.

‘I’m not sure I’m emotionally ready for another messy Sugababes reunion, but here we are,’ one uncertain fan added.

Another pointed out: ‘Sugababes are coming back to end ur favs.’

Fans reckon One Touch turning a whopping twenty years old next year (we officially feel old) could have something to do with the mysterious studio sesh.

Whatever the reason, we’ll be on the edge of our seats ready for the triumphant return.

However, it’s not the first time the trio have made a comeback.

Siobhan, Mutya and Keisha reformed as Mutya Keisha Siobhan (MKS) back in 2011, releasing mid-tempo banger Flatline in 2013, before going completely off the radar about a potential album since.

Back in 2017, it was said that the band were reuniting for another album. However, due to some of their work leaking online, they put it on hold and never officially released it.

Chester died by suicide on 20 July 2017 and on Saturday morning, Talinda Bennington shared a message to heartbroken fans.

‘I woke up this morning to lots of messages of clove and support for my friends and family and I wanted to pass along the same message of love and support to you,’ she said.

‘Today will be a really hard day for a lot of people, and that may be you. I just want you to know you are loved, you matter, and the world means something with you in it.

‘Today, let’s make Chester proud, and take care of each other, that is what he would want us to do.’

https://www.instagram.com/p/B0JRdGBhbbG/

Chester’s bandmate Mike Shinoda also took to Instagram to call on fans to ‘celebrate’ the late singer, rather than marking the day of hos passing as an ‘event’.

‘I didn’t really want to post today, but I also thought it would be weird not to post,’ he wrote.

‘I don’t want the day Chester passed to be marked as an “event.” I’d rather celebrate his birthday, celebrate album anniversaries, celebrate the countless moments our wonderful LP family has had together.

‘Today, just take care of yourself.’

Chester had spoken in the past about his struggle with drugs and alcohol.

In a 2009 interview with Noisecreep about his side-project Dead By Sunrise, he revealed how he struggled to deal with the breakdown of his marriage to his wife of nine years.

He said: ‘My life was falling apart in many ways that I was writing about on this record in terms of getting divorced, in terms of diving very hard into alcohol and drugs throughout this process.’

He added that Linkin Park’s hit Crawling was ‘about feeling like I no control over myself in terms of drugs and alchohol’.

‘That feeling, being able to write about it, sing about it, that song, those words sold millions of records, I won a Grammy, I made a lot of money,’ he said.

His mother Susan shared a snap of herself kissing the In The End hitmaker to commemorate his death.

‘The last kiss I ever got from my wonderful boy! There are no words to explain how much I miss him! I want us to all celebrate his life today!’ she wrote.

‘Love you all! Please take care and celebrate Chester’s life today! He would want us to celebrate!’

Claudia Winkleman is so dedicated to eyeliner she finds make-up stained sheets ‘erotic’

There’s no mistaking Claudia Winkleman, lover of eyeliner, fake tan and big fringes,.

But she’s so dedicated to her make up that she doesn’t even take it off to sleep and finds the mess it makes on her sheets ‘erotic’.

While our pores are literally screaming just reading that, the Strictly Come Dancing host has revealed that she rarely takes off her make-up, going to bed with a full face of slap.

She told OK! that eyeliner ends up over everything – even food: ‘I always have eyeliner in the house. There might be no bread, we might be out of milk, but there’s always eyeliner.’

She added: ‘I never take my make-up off. I go to bed with as much make-up on as I can so I look cooler in my dreams.

‘My husband thinks I’m insane. I have a shower in the morning and some of it comes off.’

While the thought of black eyeliner and fake tan all over our pillowcases makes us want to rush out and bulk buy Vanish, Claudia admits that that thought of all that slap on her sheets actually turns her on.

She admitted: ‘Yes, but I find that quite charming, a bit studenty and almost erotic.

‘It doesn’t matter if the marks don’t come out in the wash. Life’s far too short. I’m at the total opposite scale of perfectionism.’

Claudia Winkleman
Claudia’s signature look is dark eyeliner and a statement fringe (Picture: WireImage)

She previously told Marie Claire that she has basically had the same eyeliner on since the ‘70s, confessing: ‘I’ve never knowingly taken my make-up off. The stuff you see me in I first put on in the ‘70s.’

She must have the world’s toughest skin to not break out from the nightly torture she’s been putting her poor pores through.

Claudia has previously admitted that she doesn’t have any mirrors in her house, something her mother did when she was a child to make her realise appearance isn’t everything.

She told Good Housekeeping in 2017: ‘We weren’t allowed any mirrors in the house, which would explain how I do my makeup…and the fact I look like I’ve slept in a skip.

‘I was 15 going out saying “Mum, I need to know how I look, give me an idea”. She’d say “Fine”.

‘She wanted to teach us that appearance is a waste of time, it’s not the least bit important.’

Gotham prequel Pennyworth sees unrecognisable Alfred embrace sex, guns and rock and roll in London

Get ready Batman fans for the kind of Alfred Pennyworth you have never seen before.

A new look at the upcoming series Pennyworth – a prequel to the Batman prequel Gotham – sees Jack Bannon as the 26-year-old Alfred on the brink of his life-changing introduction to Thomas Wayne.

Fresh from the army and with his own security business, this man takes no prisoners, and in just a short clip we see him partying with go-go dancers, having sex, and in more than one brawl.

The first full trailer of the season is dropping at San Diego Comic Con on Sunday – so we can’t wait to see what the team bring to the table.

Alongside Bannon will be Paloma Faith, who is trading in her happy-go-lucky nature we know and love as a pop star for something far more sadistic as Bet Sykes.

Proving to be a huge adversary for Alfred, the sharp-tongued business woman is out for blood and she doesn’t care whose.

We already know that it won’t take long for Alfred to run into Thomas Wayne, played by Ben Aldridge, a young billionaire who is visiting from a mysterious city of Gotham.

Prepare for one hell of a new look at the usually sweet-natured Alfred (Picture: Epix)

The series will follow the pair’s bromance and tight bond, which will ultimately result in Alfred raising Thomas’s son Bruce as his own in the wake of his murder.

It’ll also be the first proper look into the history of Alfred and Thomas’s backstories, which has always been elusive due to Thomas’s quick death which launches the Batman story.

Jack will be taking over the role from Sean Pertwee, who plays the weathered version of the iconic right-hand man and confidant to the Caped Crusader to be.

Michael Caine played the role in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, with Jeremy Irons and Michael Gough also taking on the character in his various forms over the years.

Pennyworth launches on Epix this Summer in the US.

Game Of Thrones’ throne room was just storage space behind-the-scenes

HBO Throne Room
The throne room was basically used for scraps and spares during the show’s run (Picture: HBO)

Game Of Thrones’ cast and crew have been opening up about some behind-the-scenes secrets from the show, and basically – nothing was as glamorous as it looks.

While we fully expected the fight scenes and the bloody deaths to be far from a barrel of laughs to film, we thought there would at least be some ceremony over the most iconic and extravagant sets.

But nope, no such luck – even the throne room was, essentially, just a super fancy storage facility.

Earlier this month, concept artist Kieran Belshaw has revealed how he brought some of the show’s biggest sets to life.

Speaking at Con of Thrones in Nashville, Tennessee last weekend, Belshaw revealed on a panel (Via FilmSchoolRejects): ‘They set up this test body pile in the throne room, and so I walked in there a few times and took lots of reference pictures.

‘You’ve got the space, you may as well use it,’ he added, later adding that when it wasn’t in use, or being fought over, it was mainly used to chuck things into to get out of the way.

HBO
Game Of Thrones throne got no fanfare on set at all (Picture: HBO)

All that fighting over an elaborate storage closet for the show’s numerous corpses…who’d’ve thunk?

The third annual Con Of Thrones saw Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jerome Flynn and Hannah Murray among the stars that dropped by ahead of the main event – San Diego Comic Con- this weekend.

There, a number of the stars reunited to talk about the final season, and how they were shocked that fans weren’t more supportive of it as it received backlash.

Showrunners DB Weiss and David Benioff swerved the fan event completely in light of the backlash, pulling out at just two days’ notice.

However, they haven’t got that much to complain about, seeing as they’re still leading the 2019.

In fact, it’s a record for the ceremony, knocking NYPD Blue from their 25-year streak of having the most number of recognitions in a single year.

Game Of Thrones is available in full now on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.

Netflix viewers have found their newest obsession – in the shape of Secret Obsession, a thriller which has been fair scaring the pants off them since it was released this week.

The psychological thriller has been leaving folks so terrified that they’ve been taking to social media to reveal that the film’s been keeping them up at night, and even fearing for their own welfare.

Others have even suggested it’s put them off getting married – with another viewer adding: ‘It’s a scary world out there,’ in reaction to the movie.

***Warning: Star Trek season 2 spoilers ahead***

Star Trek Discovery boss Alex Kurtzman has promised the season three is remaining faithful to the show’s long-running canon, despite the game-changing cliffhanger season two was left on.

The Star Trek universe has been a fan favourite for decades, with the second season of its latest starship adventure Discovery proving a hit once more across the world.

Season two went out with a bang when Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and the Discovery fleet heading through a worm hole and projecting themselves 950 years into the future.

This brings up a whole new set of adventures to unfold in space, with the future remaining a big question mark over what that means to everyone involved.

Speaking to Deadline ahead of his appearance at San Diego’s annual Comic-Con, Alex Kurtzman assured fans they’re not planning to erase decades of story already in place.

He said: ‘I saw how some people were unsure of it at the beginning, and then they came to really love it as we introduced Pike and Spock, and, by the end of Season 2, felt that we had really done it justice. And that was incredibly gratifying.’

‘But the fun for us was actually to take the shackles off and free ourselves from established canon by jumping almost a thousand years into the future,’ he continued. ‘Yet what we’re not doing is divorcing ourselves from canon.’

‘Everything that ever happened in canon is still happening, and anything that ever happened in canon still plays a major part in Season 3. None of that stuff has been forgotten. None of it has been erased,’ he assured.

What will become of the Discovery team? (Picture: CBS)

However, he did add that it meant that they could play around with what we know and how different the universe is because of it as a result.

Kurtzman added that a ‘lot of love and dedication’ to remaining faithful to the show’s history remains a priority as they walk the line between old and new.

The full panel for the series – which will feature Sonequa Martin-Green, Kurtzman, and other cast members – will be held in the iconic Hall H of Comic Con.

They will be joined by Sir Patrick Stewart as well in the chat, where a first full look of spin-off Picard will be aired for the first time.

Star Trek Discovery returns in 2020 on Netflix in the UK.
