Love Island’s Maura Higgins became a sex positive icon when she refused to go to the Hideaway with Tom Walker after he joked that he would see if she was ‘all mouth’.

And it turns out that moment couldn’t have been further from staged, as Maura never set out to be a ‘feminist hero’.

The 28-year-old has admitted she never knew she was a feminist until she realised all her actions were pointing towards that title.

Speaking to Grazia, Maura said she was ‘flattered’ by the reaction to THAT scene with Tom, and explained: ‘I never realised I was a feminist! I just stand up for myself, and I won’t let anyone talk s*** about me. And you know, I do talk about sex, but so do guys.’

‘I think a lot of women are afraid to talk about sex, but it’s a natural thing,’ she added.

‘Why not talk about it? I grew up always being able to talk to my mammy and daddy. I don’t feel ashamed.’

Preach, girl.

Maura was no doubt the highlight of Love Island 2019 (Ovie Soko excluded), making waves from the moment she entered the villa and declared that Tommy Fury was giving her ‘f***y flutters’.

And while we were used to seeing the ring girl all glammed up in Majorca – and we all love a bit of make-up – the Grazia shoot strips her back to her au naturel state, and we are loving it.

Posing with minimal make-up and no tan in an unbuttoned white shirt, we’re sure Curtis Pritchard will be liking these pics on Instagram quick sharp.

And alongside the shoot, Maura discussed being ‘misjudged’ by others in her life.

She said: ‘I’ve always been misjudged, my whole life. I think people look at my Instagram and think of me as a completely different person – because when I meet people out, they always say, “You’re so much nicer than I expected”.’

Now, her personality is shining through – so much so that This Morning viewers are calling for Ms Higgins to be a permanent fixture on the morning show after her agony aunt section was a huge hit.

Maura is hoping to move to the UK from her native Ireland to pursue her career and romance with Curtis, so you never know – ITV, the ball is in your court.

They say all you need to get over a breakup is some salt water, or something like that, and Liam Hemsworth is all about that life as he took to the waves on Tuesday.

The actor recently broke his silence on his split from Miley Cyrus but nothing was going to get in the way of him hitting the sandy shores of Byron Bay for a sesh on the sea.

The 29-year-old Hunger Games actor has been laying low in Australia with his brother Chris Hemsworth amid his split, surfing and working out.

Taking off back down under over a week ago he was in his home country when confirmation hit on Sunday Miley and Liam’s marriage was over, nearly a year after they tied the knot.

Clad in a wetsuit and carrying his board under his right arm this week, Liam held up his left hand to display the lack of wedding band as he headed to the surf.

Understandably he didn’t look his chirpy larrikin self, but what do you expect eh?

Liam and 26-year-old Miley met in 2009 on the set of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song before the Aussie actor proposed in 2012. They broke up a year later before reuniting in 2015 and married at their Tennessee home last year.

Earlier in the day Liam took to this Instagram to share his thoughts on the split, wishing his former wife nothing but happiness, as she was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter in Italy.

‘Hi all. Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward,’ he wrote.

The actor, who has apparently extended his stay Down Under amid the split, added: ‘Peace and Love.’

Accompanying the shot was a pretty stellar shot of a sunset, we suppose that means something spiritual, but the guy does like to post shots of scenery so it’s nothing new there.

He shares than mentality with Miley, who broke her own silence on their split away from reps earlier this week.

The popstar wrote on Instagram: ‘Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable.

‘The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed.

‘My dad always told me “Nature never hurries but it is always on time”…. it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true.’

She concluded: ‘Life’s a climb… but the view is great.’

It’s not often fans celebrate their favourite artist taking a step back out of the spotlight, but when it comes to BTS’s latest announcement, their devoted fanbase – the ARMY – is over the moon.

Six years after debuting as a group, the Korean boyband – made up of RM, Jimin, Jungkook, J-Hope, V, Jin and Suga – is taking an official break for ‘rest and relaxation’.

A statement from their agency Big Hit Entertainment read: ‘For the first time since their debut, BTS will be going on an official and extended period of rest and relaxation.’

‘This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators.

‘This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly.’

BTS probably have a busier schedule than most popstars. The K-pop music industry is unique in that bands not only tour and promote albums and singles, but perform on weekly music shows on which they compete against other acts, remain active on social media and engage with their fans via live streams and regular interviews.

Each single is treated as a ‘comeback’, requiring new concepts and fresh performances each round.  Then you throw in BTS’s colossal success in the US and Europe, and they are taking frequent long-haul flights to do even more promo. And to top it all off, the seven members all live together in Seoul.

So it’s no wonder that they’re taking a break – but how refreshing that it is being enforced while the boys are still happy and healthy, rather than it happening due to a breakdown.

The K-pop machine gets a lot of flak for its intensity in creating stars, but the Western music industry – and fans – could do worse than to take a leaf out of Big Hit’s book when it comes to treating artists fairly.

‘Exhaustion’ has become so commonplace that it’s been treated as a joke over the years when it’s used to cancel shows or appearances, but it’s the real deal, and can lead to major burnout.

Ellie Goulding cancelled a string of concerts in 2016 after being told by her doctor her voice may not bounce back if she continued. Justin Bieber cancelled meet and greets the same year as the events left him ‘feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted to the point of depression’.

Yet countless artists are still expected to be at the top of their game night after night on tour, constantly switched on across social media and smiling at all times.

Imagine if your 9-5 extended into the wee hours, with a camera on you deciding whether you’re cheerful enough, and a direct stream to your inbox telling you all the reasons your efforts aren’t good enough?

It’s enough to drive anyone mad – and will in no way improve your output. How can we expect musicians to put on a great show or release a masterpiece when they’re being drilled into the ground?

And it’s not just execs who should take Big Hit’s lead. The ARMY has been so supportive of BTS’s announcement, and while they will of course await their return with bated breath, there’s no animosity directed towards the boys, no messages of ‘you should be grateful, we’re making you rich’ on social media.

When Ariana Grande – in a year where she lost her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and split from fiance Pete Davidson – wasn’t as full on in promoting her new album as usual, she was faced with a barrage of criticism and was forced to tweet: ‘[Constant promo] destroyed my mental health and was horrible for me. i don’t remember anything ab those years of my life and am doing so much better now. career wise and health wise. stop coming for me and my team when i’ve never been better literally in any department. LITERALLY. [sic].’

We all saw what happened to Britney Spears when she was not given support, but nothing has changed dramatically in the years since. However, Big Hit taking care of BTS makes me hopeful that there could be a change in how artists are treated going forward.

Taking a few months out of the spotlight to be regular 20-somethings will in no way harm BTS’s success. They will come back rested, fired up and better than ever – most importantly, with their health, both physical and mental, in tact. And in a time when everyone claims to care for mental wellness, this should be the blueprint the whole music industry works off.

YouTuber Tana Mongeau is not best pleased with the Teen Choice Awards after Ken Jeong threw some serious shade at her marriage to Jake Paul.

The Hangover actor took to the stage to accept the award for Choice Comedy Movie on behalf of the Crazy Rich Asians cast.

And, unable to resist a cheeky plug, the 50-year-old mentioned the next series of The Masked Singer and joked about Team 10’s Jake.

‘I’m going to give you a sneak preview and reveal one of the celebrities who will be under one of the masks!’ he teased, before adding: ‘It’s best to wait. Besides, Jake Paul over here would be pissed.’

Ken went on to say: ‘And that could stress out his pretend marriage and lead to a fake divorce from his not-wife. Am I right, kids?’

Ouch.

The shade didn’t pass Tana by as she tweeted: ‘NO WAY DID THE TEEN CHOICE AWARDS JUST SHADE JAKE AND I NO WAY!? FROM WANTING TO BE NOMINATED SO BAD TO FINDING OUT IT WAS RIGGED TO THIS. WOW. MY EVOLUTION. someone show me the clip omg.’

All in all, it seems like she’s equally offended and proud.

Fans were shocked by the joke as well, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Did they really just shade Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau on the tcas,, wow 10/10.’

‘TEEN CHOICE JUST SHADED TANA AND JAKE HAHAHA I CRIED,’ another pointed out while one die-hard fan suggested: ‘F*** the teen choice awards we doing tana choice awards next year.’

After the way TanaCon turned out, we’re a bit concerned about this idea.

While Tana and Jake tied the knot earlier this month during a $500,000 (£415,000) Las Vegas bash, many have been a little doubtful about whether the whole thing is really legit.

And it didn’t seem to help things when the 21-year-old admitted the marriage wasn’t legally binding.

‘To everybody that’s calling it fake because we rushed into it or because I don’t do things traditionally, because I wanted to not do it legally,’ Tana said.

‘But any wedding I have, if I have three more f***ing weddings, I really wouldn’t want to do it on paper because I think that legally binding yourself to someone takes away the love, like it’s just unnecessary.’

Sounds logical.

Nevertheless, she previously told Metro.co.uk that she and her beau have nothing to prove to those who doubt them.

‘At the end of the day, if we spend every minute trying to prove something to the people that doubt it, we’ll be doing that until the day we die,’ Tana pointed out.

She added: ‘We’re just super happy about it and we don’t give a flying f*** about people that doubt it.’

Maura Higgins has revealed that Love Island cut Curtis Pritchard’s nickname for her from the ITV2 show.

The series five finalist, who delivered straight-to-the-point advice and told a woman to ditch her man during her agony aunt segment on This Morning, explained that viewers didn’t get to see her other half call her by his pet name.

‘His nickname for me on the show was Button Nose but they never showed that,’ Maura spilled.

How adorable!

She also told Grazia that her beau is the ultimate partner and gets her things ready in the morning.

‘He gets up in the morning and irons my dresses for me. He’s just the cutest guy in the world,’ Maura added.

Maura and Curtis left Love Island in fourth place and have since admitted they can’t cope being apart in the real world, with Maura hoping to leave the UK from her native Ireland to pursue her career and romance.

The no-nonsense Islander is set to rake in the big bucks following her time in the Majorcan villa, with experts predicting she’ll make £1million faster than winners Greg O’Shea and Amber Gill.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Jack Cooper, celebrity publicist at Ed Hopkins PR said: ‘Maura is for sure to be one of the most wanted contestants out of this year’s series and is set to make a lot of money.’

‘By the way things are going, it’s looking like she’s going to play her time out of the villa extremely well, taking on the challenge of becoming a nation’s sweetheart,’ he added.

A source told E! News that the two had been trying to ‘make it work for months’ but to no avail.

However, Sophie Turner has revealed we all overlooked one huge quality of Sansa’s which ruled her out of the running from the very beginning.

Explaining what’s next for Sansa after Arya Stark (played by Maisie Williams) went off on her cruise, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was banished to the Wall, and Daenerys was slaughtered by her nephew and lover, Sophie told the Los Angeles Times: ‘No wars, no battles. I see her leading until she’s very old.

‘I don’t see her getting married or having children. I think it would be a democratic kind of kingdom. She’d die of old age, very happy.’

‘The fact that she doesn’t want power is also something to be said for her,’ the 23-year-old continued. ‘She only cares about the North.’

Quentin Tarantino has defended his depiction of Bruce Lee in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, saying the martial arts legend was ‘kind of an arrogant guy’.

Lee’s daughter Shannon hit out at the film, saying that the movie portrays her late father as ‘an arrogant a***hole who was full of hot air, and not someone who had to fight triple as hard as any of those people did to accomplish what was naturally given to so many others’.

In Once Upon A Time…, Lee – played by Mike Moh – challenges Brad Pitt’s character Cliff Booth to a fight on the set of The Green Hornet, claiming he could knock out Muhammad Ali and calling his fists ‘lethal weapons’.

However, Tarantino insists that the character was based on fact.

Speaking at a press junket in Moscow, the director said: ‘Bruce Lee was kind of an arrogant guy. The way he was talking, I didn’t just make a lot of that up.

‘I heard him say things like that, to that effect.’

The 56-year-old added: ‘If people are saying, “Well he never said he could beat up Muhammad Ali,” well yeah, he did. Not only did he say that, but his wife, Linda Lee, said that in her first biography I ever read. She absolutely said that.’

Shannon – Lee’s only surviving child following Brandon’s death in 1993 – shared her grievances of the film in an open letter, in which she said it was ‘uncomfortable’ to see viewers laughing at her father.

The 50-year-old wrote: ‘I can understand all the reasoning behind what is portrayed in the movie. I understand that the two characters are antiheroes and this is sort of like a rage fantasy of what would happen… and they want to make the Brad Pitt character this super bad-ass who could beat up Bruce Lee.

‘But they didn’t need to treat him in the way that white Hollywood did when he was alive.’

While Tarantino defended the characterisation of Lee in his film, he did tweak the fight scene after hearing Brad Pitt’s concerns.

The film’s co-stunt coordinator Robert Alonzo explained to HuffPost UK: ‘I know that Brad had expressed his concerns, and we all had concerns about Bruce losing.

‘Especially for me, as someone who has looked up to Bruce Lee as an icon, not only in the martial-arts realm, but in the way he approached philosophy and life, to see your idol be beaten is very disheartening… I had a difficult time choreographing a fight where he lost.’

Lee, best known for his films Enter The Dragon, Fist Of Fury and The Game Of Death, died aged 32 in 1973.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is in cinemas on 14 August.

The 69-year-old managed to share a snap of herself with older daughter Kendall instead, proving that even the Kardashian/Jenner clan aren’t immune to a social media faux pas or two.

Nevertheless, Kylie didn’t appear to let anything bother her on the big day as she partied away on her super-yacht, styled in an iconic white feathered gown.

Roxanne Pallett’s former fiancé Lee Walton has seemingly made a dig at the actress, as she revealed her new boyfriend seven months after their engagement ended.

The steelworker shared a quote by rapper Kanye West which appeared to be a reference to Roxanne on Instagram overnight right as she appeared to confirm her romance with Jason Carrion.

Wayne Rooney and Coleen Rooney came face-to-face with call-girl Helen Wood in a Manchester bar, nearly 10 years after Wayne’s decision almost destroyed his marriage.

The Walking Dead fans will soon be saying their farewells to Danai Gurira and her much loved character Michonne.

However, despite leaving the show it seems the 41-year-old is excited for her exit as she was able to collaborate with the writers on her story arc.

When chatting to the Los Angeles Times, the star opened up on her departure, and gave an insight into what viewers can expect.

She told the publication: ‘I know nothing. But what I will say in my know-nothingness, the great thing about this show is they are very, very, fantastic at creating great structure for everyone’s story

‘I was in a room where they have all the pictures of people who have left the show, and everyone’s exit has been so specific and really resonate in its own, very original way.’

She added: ‘There was no exception to that in my case, I’m very thankful for that. And I was allowed to be a collaborator.

‘But they created a very, very, very sound structure of how Michonne exits, which I was very thankful for.’

Danai confirmed she would be walking away from the show at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, in California.

Talking to the crowds during a panel, she said: ‘I can confirm this will be my final season on this amazing TV show as Michonne.

‘I would just like to say that this has been one of the purest joys of my life to play this role and to be amongst these people and those who are not here right now and amongst all of you.

‘I’m very thankful for the experience I’ve had in ways I can’t state right now. My heart does not leave in any way, shape or form. The TWD family is forever. The connection between us never ends.’

The Black Panther star added: ‘It was a very difficult decision, but it was about my calling and other opportunities I wanted to explore.’

But while she is leaving, it sure looks like Michonne will go out with a bang, as the season 10 trailer teased an unsuspected romance blossoming with herself and Ezekiel (Khary Payton).

‘Somehow it’s harder the second time around, especially when you get used to having someone there,’ Michonne says in a voice over.

The camera quickly lands on her sat in the back of a truck as she whispers the words: ‘A partner in crime.’

All of a sudden Ezekiel comes into view, and despite us hoping that he’ll one day get back with Carol (Melissa McBride), the King goes and plants one on Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) ex.

The Walking Dead season 10 kicks off on Sunday 6 October in the US, and returns in the UK on Fox Monday 7 October.

Simon Bird is best known for playing the painfully awkward Will McKenzie from E4’s cringy coming-of-age comedy, but the actor is not interested in reprising the role any time soon.

The series ran for three seasons which ended in 2010 to be followed by a movie and subsequent sequel.

Despite gifting the zeitgeist with some wonderful phrases – ‘Feisty one you are,’ ‘Bus w******,’ – and a plethora of memorable moments, Will admits a reunion now would be ‘depressing’.

‘I don’t know how that would work,’ Bird, now 34, told Screen Daily.

‘I don’t think it would work with the characters grown up, which we now all are.

‘No one is going to buy us as teenagers any more. And I think the idea of the four of us back together as 30-somethings is going to be a bit more depressing for everyone.’

He added: ‘I can’t see us doing any more of it.’

We have to agree.

At 34, Will and co still behaving like that would be rather troubling.

His co-stars Joe Thomas, Blake Harrison and James Buckley are now aged 35, 34 and 31 respectively and we’d certainly hope Simon, Neil and Jay have their act together by now.

Bird is currently making his first foray into the directing side of the industry, with film Days Of The Bagnold Summer, but has felt ‘typecast’ when it comes to the acting side of things.

‘You do get typecast, and fair enough. It was so successful and our faces were everywhere. That’s especially true with comedy,’ he said.

‘The characters become real and very important to fans – it’s really difficult to see actors do other things.’

Harrison just revealed that he had to work a second job in between the first two series of The Inbetweeners.

In an interview with Radio Times, he said: ‘In between the first and second series, I worked in the Scare Chamber at Madame Tussauds because we weren’t paid well.’

There’s just weeks to go before season 14 of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia hits our screens.

And by the looks of things, it’s going to be as guiltily side-splitting as ever.

Rob McElhenney, aka Mac, shared a video from the last day of shooting for season 14, and he, Kaitlin Olson (Dee) and Charlie Day (Charlie) were in literal tears watching Glenn Howerton film a scene as narcissist and general psychopath Dennis Reynolds.

In the clip, Kaitlin and Charlie are seen silently cracking up while watching the monitor, while director Pete Chatmon kept things profesh.

Rob – who also created the show – captioned the Instagram video: ‘Us crying from watching @glennhowerton on the monitors. Director @petechatmon staying professional. These people still bring me joy after all these years.’

N’awww.

Director Chatmon commented: ‘These episodes are hilarious! Thanks for having me’, while Charlie’s wife Mary Elizabeth Ellis – who plays The Waitress – revealed it was the wrap day, writing: ‘Happy last shoot day of 14!!! Love you all.’

And Glenn’s wife Jill Latiano (yep, this crew is all loved-up) left a string of heart-eyed emojis to show love for her hilarious husband.

Chatmon has joined the series to direct four of the new episodes, and bigged up the season as he shared snaps with the cast.

He wrote: ‘It’s. A. Wrap. Had An Amazing Time Directing 4 Episodes Of This Show, Still Going Strong In It’s 14th Season.

‘Shout Out To @robmcelhenney @charliedayofficial For Bringing Me On Board. You Guys Have This Down To A Science.’

The 14th season premieres on 25 September on FX, and will also show us Glenn Howerton’s directorial debut with the second episode.

The season comes nearly a year after the season 13 finale, which saw Mac coming to terms with his sexuality after coming out as gay, and the gang organising a float for Philly’s Pride parade.

It’s Always Sunny had previously gone on an ‘extended hiatus’ to accomodate the cast’s other projects, while doubt hung over Glenn Howerton’s return after Dennis was seemingly written out of the show in the 12th season finale.

However, he returned to star in season 13 and will be in season 14 along with Olson, McElhenney, Day and Danny DeVito.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia season 14 premieres on 25 September on FX. All 13 seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

It’s safe to say Missy Elliott has had a pretty incredible career.

Missy – real name Melissa Arnette Elliott – has sold over 30 million records worldwide, thanks to her hits like Work It, Get Ur Freak On and WTF (Where They From) and she’s the only female rapper to have six certified platinum studio albums.

Now the 48-year-old is set to have her thirty years in the music industry honoured by receiving a Video Vanguard Award at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, which is awarded in celebration of her music video contributions over the years.

Missy Elliott has been releasing her music videos since the 1990s and they’ve gained millions of views to date, but she most recently teamed up with Lizzo to release a video for their collaboration Tempo.

The rapper will follow in the footsteps of Rihanna, Madonna, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Kanye West, who have all previously collected the Video Vanguard Award. She’s also set to perform at the ceremony for the first time in sixteen years.

Taking to Twitter to comment on her award, Missy wrote: ‘I am humbly grateful to be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. I thank my fans, “Supafriends,” who fought diligently to see this day come.’

With legendary videos like Get Ur Freak On, The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) and Work It, we’re baffled she hasn’t been honoured sooner.

Bruce Gillmer, head of music and music talent at Viacom and co-brand head at MTV International, said: ‘Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible.

‘Her creative vision across production, performance and song-writing is unmatched.’

We’d have to say we agree with you there, Bruce.

Taylor Swift will also take to the stage to perform at the ceremony – which takes place in New Jersey on 26 August – for her first televised performance since the release of her new album Lover, which comes out three days before the event.

Taylor and Ariana Grande lead the nominations for this year’s awards, both being up for an incredible ten awards each, including the Video Of The Year Award for You Need to Calm Down and Thank U, Next.

As with any VMA ceremony, there will be plenty more performances to look forward to, but for now, news of who else we can expect to take to the stage is being kept under wraps.

Katy Perry recently denied rumours that she’ll perform at the 2019 ceremony, telling fans in a Q&A on her Instagram Story: ‘I am not performing on the VMAs, so not everything you read on the internet is true. Go figure… I always say if it doesn’t come from me, take it with a grain of Himalayan salt.’

Miley Cyrus will also not be performing at event A fan wrote on Instagram: ‘Guess I’m not watching the VMAS this year… unless Miley performs.” The singer replied: “No f***in way’ – and now that she’s announced her split from Liam Hemsworth, we can understand why.

Celebs Go Dating’s Jermaine Pennant blamed his mum for him cheating on his wife Alice Goodwin in last night’s scenes.

The 36-year-old footballer, who addressed his affair scandal with Chloe Ayling in the Celebrity Big Brother house in Sunday’s episode, told experts Paul Carrick-Brunson and Anna Williamson that his absent mother might be the reason for his infidelities.

‘The majority of the girlfriends I had I have had I haven’t been faithful, I don’t know if that is because I’m acting like a bad boy or because I never had a mum around,’ Jermaine said.

When asked where his mother was as a child, Jermaine replied: ‘She just wasn’t in my life.

‘When you’ve got a mother that bond is there, the way you love her people then take that into their relationships with a girl, they look at that woman and look at their mum.

‘I’ve never had that.’

During Celebrity Big Brother last year, Jermaine was seen flirting with Chloe and telling her that he wasn’t married – despite having wed Alice in 2014.

Back in March, it was reported that Jermaine and Alice had split following his stint in the compound and they both unfollowed each other on social media. However, they were back together just days later.

Addressing his brief separation from his wife, he continued: ‘We did break up for a period and it was dark, it was a lonely place. For some reason we always find our way back.’

Viewers were stunned by Jermiane’s comments and didn’t hold back as they remarked on the scenes on Twitter, with one writing: ‘Jermaine cheated on his wife because he didn’t have a mum around growing up? Strong blame game.’

Echoing a similar sentiment, another blasted: ‘Jermaine definitely once heard someone mention mummy issues and he decided to just use that to justify his horrible behaviour for the rest of his life.’

Chris Hemsworth has challenged one of his fans to a rather sweaty workout and we’re just exhausted looking at the two going for it.

After seeing Erik Conover’s attempt at the Thor actor’s 90-day workout – of course Chris has his own workout platform, Centr – he wanted to join the lad to round it off.

And it sure is making us short of breath and not for the reasons Chris Hemsworth usually does.

Taking to Instagram overnight, Chris shared a video in which he went toe to toe (or, rather, weight to weight) with Erik while he was recently in New York.

Captured for posterity and a way of making us all sign up to the gym, like, yesterday, their workout involved a bunch of lunges while toting dumbbells, these crawly things along the ground (technical term, yes), pull-ups, push-ups and then ‘463 minutes’ on a stationary bike.

As the two had a powwow while cruising along on the bikes, Chris said: ‘I find that the benefits to training just on my emotional state.’

The Avengers star said by working out he then makes better choices with his food, as he added: ‘By moving and generating that momentum … the motivation then snowballs.’

Chris, who is based in Byron Bay in Australia with wife Elsa Pataky and their three kids, wrote alongside the clip: ‘Heard about Erik and his transformation using our @centrfit program and was blown away by his results.

‘I happened to be in NYC and was able to meet up with him to train and talk about his experience. Great to see the impact the app is making!’

Erik previously shared the video Chris sent him in which he challenged the lad to a tandem workout.

‘I saw your transformation and the support you’ve given the app. I loved it, I’m in New York for a premiere and thought, you know what? We should meet up for a workout,’ Chris said.

‘So hit me back, let’s do this. Looking forward to seeing ya.’

He wrote this morning in Chris’s comments section: ‘Thank you so much, Chris! This has been life-changing. Excited to continue the journey.’

In the full-length video that was uploaded to YouTube previously, Chris spoke candidly about his own feelings towards working out and wanting to be his best for his on-screen characters.

‘Over the years when I looked at if I didn’t put in the work, if I didn’t get to this level for this character, particularly with Thor, I knew I was going to be disappointed walking on that set,’ he explained.

‘I knew I’d walk onto that set and not feel as confident to perform and play that character because I knew I hadn’t put the work in.’

He added: ‘Some real honesty and truth, looking at yourself in the mirror and saying these are my goals, this is what I’m after, I know I can achieve it. Just gotta put in that work.’

Peaky Blinders fans have more than just the season five release to look forward too, as a festival will be launching next month.

The new season of the drama is now just a couple of weeks away, but the Peaky Blinders festival offers fans a way to get even more involved with the show.

Fans will be able to see live recreation of the world that the series is set in, which will include over 200 actors, while there will also be a cinema, museum and food and drink available to buy at the event.

The festival will also include live music from artists such as Primal Scream, Anna Calvi and Nadine Shah.

When is the Peaky Blinders festival?

The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival will take place on the 14 and 15 September 2019, and it will be held in Digbeth, Birmingham.

Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has been one of the people working on the event, and he is set to take part in a live Q&A as part of the festival.

Several stars from the show are also set to appear across the weekend, including taking part in the Q&A session.

There will also be dance performance by the contemporary dance company Rambert, as well as Peaky Blinders fashion advice from David’s Beckham’s menswear label Kent and Curween.

The museum will include information and props from the series, while Steven Knight’s clothing range will also be hosting a catwalk show during the festival.

Tickets for The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival first went on sale on 9 August 2019, but there are still some tickets available for the festival on Ticketmaster.

Prices start quite high though with general admission tickets currently being priced at £67.20 each and they include access for one day of the two-day festival.

The VIP ticket prices start from £149 and will include access to a VIP lounge, an event t-shirt and lanyard, as well as VIP hosts and access to separate bars and toilets.

Twitch’s CEO has apologised to Ninja after the star accused the platform of ‘promoting porn’ and other streamers on his old channel.

The star – real name Tyler Blevins – shocked fans when he announced his switch from Twitch to Mixer earlier this month in an epic press conference video.

However, things haven’t gone so smoothly, with the 28-year-old posting a video on Twitter to call out the streaming giant for promoting other streamers, including a porn channel, on his old profile.

The CEO of the platform, Emmett Shear, has now taken to Twitter to ‘apologise directly’ to Ninja.

‘Our community comes to Twitch looking for live content. To help ensure they find great, live channels we’ve been experimenting with showing recommended content across Twitch, including on streamer’s pages that are offline [sic],’ he said.

‘This helps all streamers as it creates new community connections. However, the lewd content that appeared on the @ninja offline channel page grossly violates our terms of service, and we’ve permanently suspended the account in question.’

He added: ‘We have also suspended these recommendations while we investigate how this content came to be promoted.

‘On a more personal note, I apologize want to apologize [sic] directly to @ninja that this happened. It wasn’t our intent, but it should not have happened. No excuses.’

Tyler previously took to social media to call out the platform, telling fans: ‘I’ve been streaming for eight years to build that brand and build that channel, 14.5million followers.

‘They were still using my channel to promote other streamers. Well now there was a porn account which was number one being recommended on my channel and I have no say in any of this stuff.

Ninja then apologised to any of his fans who might have seen the X-rated content and told them that they’re working on removing the channel.

He continued: ‘We’re trying to get the whole channel taken down to begin with, or at least not promote other streamers and other brands on my brand and on my freaking profile.

‘So for anyone who saw that or anyone whose kids… or just didn’t want to see that, I apologise and I’m sorry.’

In another tweet, Ninja wrote: ‘This wouldn’t even have been an issue if they didn’t use my channel to promote others in the first place…’

At the time of writing, Ninja’s old profile does not link back to other profiles.

Meanwhile, the star has been racking up subscribers on Mixer after the move, recently celebrating hitting the one million mark.

He told fans: ‘Today we hit 1,000,000 active subscribers on mixer ^-^ thank you for all the incredible support. I haven’t felt this good in a long time.’

George Michael’s home where he died on Christmas Day has been sold for £3.4 million.

The 16th century property in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire was sold last month, according to Land Registry documents.

The couple who bought the stunning house, called Mill Cottage, are believed to be local, and moved in two weeks ago.

Lawyer John Reid, who acts on behalf of the singer’s estate and family, told the Mirror: ‘We can confirm that we have now sold George’s former home in Goring-on-Thames.

‘It was a place that he loved, not least for the privacy that it afforded him.

‘We would therefore kindly ask that the new owners have their privacy respected and are able to enjoy the property as he did.’

George bought the property in 2001, and he explained in a segment on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004, where he showed viewers around his home: ‘This is a 16th-century house that I bought about three years ago and did up myself.

‘This is about as English and historical as you can get. We kept all the original beams. This fire place is the original fireplace.’

The Faith singer was found dead aged 53 at Mill Cottage on Christmas Day 2016, by his partner Fadi Fawaz.

His cause of death was later confirmed as heart and liver disease, with George suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver.

Devoted fans of the Wham! singer had previously been leaving floral tributes outside the Goring-on-Thames property, as well as George’s Highgate home; however, his family pleaded with them to desist.

George left the majority of his £97.6 million fortune and major assets to his sisters Melanie and Yioda, with the siblings believed to have let the star’s Grade II-listed Highgate home to a company that secretly houses celebrities when they’re working in London.

Meanwhile, Fadi – who dated George for four years before his death – was recently arrested for aggravated criminal damage after ‘squatting’ in George’s £5 million Regent’s Park property.

The hairdresser was released under investigation after spending a night in custody.

A Met Police spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘Police were called on Tuesday, 23 July at around 19:00 hours to a report of man seen on the roof of an address in Park Village Mews, NW1.

‘Officers attended and the man was no longer on the roof but inside the address, which had extensive damage.

‘Due to the damage inside the property the London Fire Brigade attended. The man, aged in his mid-40s, has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated criminal damage.’
