Towie star Lydia Bright has given birth to her first child.

The 30-year-old confirmed that she has welcomed her daughter with ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin.

The reality star told Hello! magazine: ‘My darling girl has arrived. I am so overwhelmed with love, she is absolutely perfect.’

Lydia has yet to share a picture of her baby girl, who she nicknamed Dinky throughout her pregnancy on social media, or announce the little one’s name.

The Essex girl, who previously dated James ‘Arg’ Argent, told fans she was expecting last August, telling Hello!: ‘I’ve done so much travelling, I’ve done all my partying holidays, I’m where I want to be in terms of my life, financially and career-wise. It just feels like the right time for it all to happen for me.

‘I’ve always wanted the fairytale. And it’s obviously not worked out exactly how I wanted.’

Lydia split from boyfriend of two years Lee shortly after she fell pregnant.

Lydia had previously said that her mum Debbie would be her birthing partner rather than Lee, calling her ex ‘useless’ after attending an antenatal class together.

Speaking on the podcast Meet The Brights, she said: ‘I feel like Lee’s going to be useless. When they were giving the presentation, they were like “This is what you’ve got to do, this is what the dad’s have to do, massage the back”.

‘She was like, “Let’s do an exercise. You, stand up. Lee, stand up, if she’s in pain, where would you massage if she’s about to give birth?” He went like that, at the top of my back. She was like “The baby’s not there is it. Where’s the baby?” He was like “It’s there”.

‘So she was like “So where would you massage?” And he was like “I don’t understand. Is it a trick question?”

‘The woman was saying you need words of encouragement from your birthing partners. I thought, can you imagine Lee doing that? He would freak. There’s no way he’s doing that. They’re useless.’

Lydia has beaten her bestie Lucy Mecklenburgh to motherhood, with both Towie girls expecting babies at the same time and discovering their due dates were just five days apart.

She joked about who would give birth earlier this month, writing on Instagram: ‘The countdown is on ……. Who will be first to pop?’

Lucy, 28, is expecting her first baby with Celebrity Big Brother star Ryan Thomas.

Simon Bird shatters our dreams as he insists The Inbetweeners reunion is ‘never’ happening

Simon Bird has insisted that the nation’s beloved The Inbetweeners will ‘never’ be returning for a reunion show.

Appearing on Lorraine to discuss the new series Days of the Bagnold Summer, which he’s directing, the two got to talking on the recent trend of rebooting shows.

Responding to how often he gets questioned about The Inbetweeners, he said: ‘About 10 to 20 [times a day].’

The presenter, 60, went on to joke about how he looks the same as he did on the series, which aired between 2008 and 2010.

‘The thing about that is “never say never”,’ Lorraine quipped before Simon quickly retorted:’ Exactly. I mean I will say never.’

He continued: ‘I think that the reason that shows worked is that the characters were kids so we could say the terrible awful things they said. Whereas if the characters were in their mid-to-late thirties, it’s slightly different.’

Well, there goes our dreams flying out the window.

On the bright side, Friday Night Dinner will be coming back sometime in March so not all hope is lost.

The star, however, still doesn’t know what the exact date is so we’re going to have to keep our eyes glued to the screen for the entirety of the month.

Channel 4 dropped the trailer for season six of FND and we are longing to hear the words, ‘Shalom Jackie’ as soon as possible.

The 20-second clip is short and sweet but it is still long enough for us to see all our favourite characters in action.

The opening of the trailer sees Martin (Paul Ritter) in a caravan (so it looks like he has upgraded his shed).

And let’s not forget Jackie (Tamsin Greig), Adam (Simon), and Jonny (Tom Rosenthal) all making brief appearances, as well as Jim (Mark Heath).

Since the show started back in 2011, it’s cultivated a loyal following, making Friday Night Dinner one of Channel 4’s longest-running sitcoms.

Series five gained the show’s highest ratings in some time, beaten only by series one. It also attracted the biggest audience share across all series.

Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.

Robert Pattinson’s stunt double got to work on-set of the anticipated new Batman movie last weekend and was spotted in the middle of filming a tense chase scene.

Filming for The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves and also starring Zoe Kravitz and Colin Farrell, got underway on Sunday at the city’s famous Victorian-era cemetery Necropolis.

With Robert, 32, nowhere to be seen on set this weekend, it was left to his stunt double to shoot the high-speed motorbike chase. The stunt actor was spotted speeding through the Necropolis wearing a helmet and a version of the Batsuit complete with a gauntlet on one arm which had steel darts lined-up.

One local was able to capture part of the tense chase on-set and showed the stuntman riding through the cemetery before crashing the bike to the floor.

The day before filming took place, the Batman production team were spotted transforming the Necropolis into Gotham with a large machine spraying water on the ground. They were also spotted covering up giveaways of the true location by muddying car parking spaces and white lines.

A new license plate was pictured on the rear of a car, with City of Gotham written underneath the number ‘F11 7HD.’

Teasing the shoot, an insider told Sunday Mail Glasgow: ‘Glasgow will be turned into Gotham City and, with the city’s architecture, it’s expected to look great in the new film.’

Residents have been warned to expect road closures around filming locations in the city.

Robert was announced as the new Batman last year and recently opened up about his rigorous training regime in preparation for the role.

He told Vanity Fair: ‘Really it’s such a physical part that, more than anything, I’m afraid of getting injured, so I kind of need to be consistent with the working out.

‘I have a trainer, who I really love, in London. If someone’s not watching over you, it’s so easy to work out in a really undisciplined way.’

Robert will star alongside Zoe who will play his love interest Catwoman.

It’s a change of pace for Robert who has mostly starred in independent movies since his Twilight heyday, such as The Lighthouse, which earned him critical-acclaim late last year.

The Batman is set for release on 25 June 2021.

Star Wars: Battlefront spin-off cancelled, Fallen Order 2 confirmed to be in development

It turns out EA have cancelled another Star Wars game, but it is apparently now working on a sequel to the successful Fallen Order.

Publisher EA already drew ire when it cancelled a highly-anticipated single-player Star Wars adventure. Now it turns out that it has canned yet another one.

According to a new report from Kotaku, this title, codenamed Viking, would have been a spin-off of the Battlefront series and was intended to come out in autumn 2020 to coincide with the release of the next generation of consoles.

Anonymous EA employees revealed that the game would have contained open world elements and that London-based studio Criterion, which created the Starfighter Assault mode for Battlefront 2, had been brought in to work on the game, alongside EA Vancouver.

However, problems began to arise due to the challenge of cross-country development, with one person stating that there were ‘too many cooks.’ Criterion in particular had what was described as an ambitious vision for the game, wanting a strong focus on story and characters.

When EA executives realised Viking wouldn’t be finished in time, they ultimately decided to cancel the project. This in turn may have been the catalyst for Criterion taking over work on the Need For Speed franchise.

Fortunately, Criterion is still hard at work on a new Need For Speed title, and while there hasn’t been an official announcement, the successful Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was also confirmed to be getting a sequel.

Aside from that, EA does have one other Star Wars title in development at EA Motive in Montreal, Canada, that has been described as smaller and more unusual.

Could it have something to do with the rumours regarding the next era of the Star Wars franchise? These rumours claim that it will be set 400 years before the events of the Skywalker saga, during a time referred to as the High Republic era.

The 53-year-old Irish singer shared the exciting news that her second born, Roisin, is keen for her mum to find love on the Channel 4 show and has sent off an application in her name in the chance she’ll meet a potential partner at the iconic restaurant.

‘Ha! My daughter just completed an application for me for First Dates : ),’ Sinead wrote to her 59k followers.

We’ve got our fingers crossed that she’ll get to meet maître d’hôtel Fred Sirieix – and the love of her life, of course.

First Dates has been in our lives since 2013 and has welcomed many a singleton and celebrity singleton since it first aired.

Recent scenes saw beauty queen Sophie bravely open up about falling victim to a horrific acid attack during a night out in London.

‘I was out dancing and I got it on my face and my body,’ she recalled. ‘It was like a pain I probably couldn’t describe. It was the most horrific year of my life. I spent 10 months going to the hospital every single week.’

Speaking to the cameras, she continued: ‘All I could hear was people screaming, “Oh my God, what’s on her face?” and I hadn’t seen it myself but I could tell they were talking about me. As much as I was hoping that it wasn’t and they were talking about someone else, it was me.’

First Dates airs Thursdays at 10pm on Channel 4.

Hunters: How Ted Bundy became chilling influence behind Al Pacino fighting neo-Nazi Travis

Greg Austin becomes terrifying as a wannabe member of the Fourth Reich (Pictures: Amazon)

Amazon’s Hunters has created one of the most twisted killers on TV right now with the creation of white supremacist Travis Leich – but nothing’s scarier than reality as the Nazi is actually based on serial murderer, Ted Bundy.

An Aryan poster boy, the blonde-haired, blue-eyed, butter-wouldn’t-melt appearance of Travis hides a completely sadistic murderer, whose desire to help build the Fourth Reich from the ground up in the US could prove to be dangerous.

So it makes sense that Brit actor Greg Austin, who plays him, looked at one of the most charming killers in history in order to nail that callous and cold charm.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, he said: ‘There were a lot of inspirations for the character and I looked in a lot of different directions.

‘Obviously I was looking a lot into the history of the Nazi party, and World War Two, and trying to really find a base of reality in that. The importance of getting my character right is to give a voice to the good guys.’

‘They need a true evil to push against and if I don’t get that right, it sort of diminishes their voice in the show, I think, a little bit. My role is to service them, really and to give their stories more prominence and more importance.’

But then there were the less conventional influences – in particular, Ted Bundy, who killed dozens of women across the US in the 70s.

‘I was looking at Ted Bundy a lot. The Ted Bundy Tapes came out at just the right time, I was watching those and going “I can take this off him… That’s really interesting”.’

He added that No Country For Old Men and Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer also helped, adding: ‘Looking into psychopaths was a lot of it.’

‘I’ve just been looking for an opportunity to play something like this for a while,’ he smiled. ‘I’m always playing the affable, English boy next door, sort of character, because that’s just sort of me.

‘So seeing a character like this and being able to put a version of myself into it was very exciting to me. I just auditioned for it and was lucky enough to get it.’

Executive producer Nikki Toscano also revealed to us: ‘Something exciting David [Weil, show creator] and I have never shared was Greg was the first audition that we saw for Travis, and nobody measured up afterwards.’

‘It’s sort of a dream as an actor to have that!,’ Greg added.

Hunters is available now on Amazon Prime Video.

Greg James wrapped in scarf and put in wheelchair during ‘kidnapping’ looks like the hangover from hell

Poor Greg James had the hangover from hell when he was kidnapped after the Brit Awards.

And in a new picture from the ordeal, it looks like Radio 1 really went all out to make sure the breakfast DJ didn’t know where he was being kept.

In a hilarious snap from his capture, the 34-year-old was placed in a wheelchair with a red scarf wrapped around his face and headphones placed over his ears, while wearing the same clothes he wore to the Brit Awards.

Greg shared the pic and tweeted: ‘The absolute state of this. A new photo has emerged of the moment before the room was sealed around me…’

Followers joked that the photo could be concept album artwork for Kraftwerk, as well as a promo for Bird Box 2.

They’re not wrong.

The absolute state of this. A new photo has emerged of the moment before the room was sealed around me... Greg James kidnapping
Greg was being held at the Shard (Picture: Twitter/ Greg James)

As we all know now, Greg was being held captive on the 39th floor of the Shard by Mollie King and Alan Carr, who were getting revenge for last year’s Hide and Seek.

Listeners were tasked with using their detective skills to figure out who had Greg, as well as helping him get out of the room he spent nearly 39 hours in.

Speaking to Scott Mills during the stunt, Greg said: ‘I was as normal, having an amazing time and it was one of the best Brits I’ve ever seen, then I went off to one of the after-parties.

‘It got really busy and an hour and a half in I got bundled out of the back door, a blindfold was put on me and I was put in a car and driven around… it’s so hazy because, and you can hear it in my voice, I had had a lot of wine. I was in the back of this car and I fell asleep for a bit.

‘I guess it was an hour or so, maybe a bit more, bundled out of this car, put in a wheelchair, with the blindfold still on, and taken somewhere… and now I’m in a white room, with nothing in it apart from a single bed… I’m still in my Brits stuff from last night… I feel like I’m slowly losing my mind.’

The nation became enthralled with Greg’s kidnapping from the get-go because at first, people believed he had just pulled a sickie after going too hard at the Brits.

Adele Roberts was forced to stand in for Greg on his Wednesday morning Radio 1 show after he failed to show up… when all along, he was up the Shard.

However, there has been criticism of the stunt after it emerged that the BBC had forked out thousands to hold Greg captive in one of the swanky suites in the Shangri La hotel in the Shard.

According to The Sun, the BBC got a discount on the room, but usually a suite like the one housing Greg is £10,000 a night.

Life could have been so different for Paddy McGuinness, who reveals he once turned down a ‘big’ soap role.

The 46-year-old is best known for matching singletons on ITV dating show Take Me Out, which has now been axed, but his career trajectory might have taken another direction if he chose to go the acting route.

Paddy told The Daily Record: ‘I was offered a job on a soap about 10 or 15 years ago. It was a big part, it was a character in it for a long time.’

But he teased: ‘I won’t say which one it was.’

So we’re left to wonder whether Paddy could have starred as EastEnders’ Grant Mitchell or Coronation Street’s Steve McDonald. Now that would have been interesting.

However, his agent warned Paddy that becoming a soap star could limit future opportunities.

Paddy recalled: ‘My agent at the time said to me, “Don’t do it”. And I’m like, “What are you on about?” And he said, “Don’t do it, because you’ll do it and that will be it after that.

But instead, he chose Take Me Out which didn’t work out too badly for him (Picture: ITV)

‘Back in those days it was really difficult when you are doing soaps to get a job outside of it. “I’ve got to say, that’s probably one of the best bits of advice I’ve ever had, because everything’s all nice and bonny and I’m working”.’

While he didn’t take the role, Paddy did make a cameo in Corrie back in 2015 when he starred as survival expert Dougie Ryan alongside Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment).

Although, it was probably a wise decision to avoid the soap career as Paddy went on to host Take Me Out for 11 years, coining the now-iconic term ‘no lighty, no likey’ and playing cupid for the nation’s singletons.

However, the much-loved series was axed this month after more than a decade on-air.

In a statement, ITV said: ‘After 11 series we have decided to say goodbye to Take Me Out.

‘We’d like to thank Paddy, the production team at Thames as well as all the contributors who have appeared on the show for all their hard work in making the show such unmissable television.’

Paddy then addressed the news in an Instagram video and said: ‘Hello friends it’s time to say goodbye to Take Me Out, eight weddings, six babies and a generation of youngsters who have grown up watching us on Saturday night.

’10 years that’s before Tinder, Snapchat, Twitter was a little baby, Instagram wasn’t a thing and Whatsapp that were just witchcraft.

What I am most proud of is the success of Take Me Out as it put dating show back on the TV map, thank you to the boys who braved the love lift and more importantly the stars of the show, the girls.  I am going to miss spending my Saturday nights with you.

‘And for one last time it’s lights out, all out.’

He then joked: ‘Right better get to the Job Centre.’

David Tennant’s son Ty fancies becoming the third person in his family to play Doctor Who and we totally back him.

The 17-year-old has been carving out a career in acting for himself and he wouldn’t mind following in his father – and grandfather’s – footsteps by entering the TARDIS.

Ty’s mum’s dad Peter Davison played the fifth Time Lord in the series, while David was the tenth incarnation of the iconic role.

We reckon the rising star would be the perfect person to take over from Jodie Whitaker.

‘I don’t think I would ever decline the offer,’ Ty told The Sunday Post:

‘Doctor Who is such a massive thing to take on.

‘Whoever is truly right for it will get the role. If I am granted that, I will certainly do my best.’

Oh, Ty!

Look at him, he’s already mastered how to sound humble in interviews!

And the teenager’s got quite the acting legacy behind him.

His dad David played everyone’s favourite doctor from 2005 to 2010, during which time he met his wife, Ty’s mother Georgia Moffett.

David adopted Ty after he married Georgia – who recently welcomed their fifth child.

Ty is slowly stepping out of his parents’ shadow with his own acting roles, including a spot on Casualty and a part in 2019’s Tolkien.

He’s now set to star in sci-fi thriller War Of The Worlds opposite Downton Abbey actress Elizabeth McGovern.

Meanwhile, Doctor Who aired the first in its two-part finale on Sunday and we have a LOT of questions about what the hell went down.

Ascension of the Cybermen followed the Doctor and her companions Yaz (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) as they travelled into the far-future to rescue mankind from extinction after a war with the Cybermen.

God, we hate it when we have to do that.

Doctor Who concludes next Sunday on BBC One.

How did the Love Island final pay tribute to Caroline Flack?

Love Island’s winter series came to an end on Sunday night, in a final which saw Paige Turley and Finley Tapp crowned champions ahead of Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman.

While there were plenty of celebrations among the winners, the show also had a sad edge to it as presenter Laura Whitmore introduced a poignant tribute to Caroline Flack.

Laura choked up as she paid tribute to her friend, who passed away on 15 February aged 40.

Here’s how the show chose to honour her memory as the series came to a close.

How did the Love Island final pay tribute to Caroline Flack?

Following their previous tribute in the wake of her death – with the show being cancelled for two days afterwards before returning last Monday – Laura Whitmore told viewers how ‘difficult’ the past week had been following the tragedy,

‘The past week has been extremely difficult coming to terms with the loss of our friend and colleague Caroline,’ Laura said.

‘We’re thinking of her family and everyone who knew her at this time.’

A montage of moments from Caroline’s time on the show – and its spin-off Aftersun – then followed, showing her interaction with contestants over the years as well as with the show’s narrator Iain Stirling.

It followed Iain’s moving tribute when the show returned to screens last week, in which he said: ‘We are all absolutely devastated by the tragic news that Caroline, a much-loved member of our Love Island family, has passed away.

‘Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this dreadful time.’

‘Caroline and me, we were together from the very start of Love Island, and her passion, warmth and infectious enthusiasm were a crucial part of what made the show connect with millions of viewers.

‘Like many of you, right now we’re all just trying to come to terms with what has happened. My only hope is that we can all try and be kinder, always show love, and listen to one another.’

‘Caroline, I want to thank you for all the fun times we had making our favourite show. You were a true friend to me,’ Iain went on.

In a final heartbreaking moment, his voice broke as he said: ‘I’m gonna miss you, Caz.’

Caroline died on Saturday 15 February, with a lawyer for the Flack family later confirming the presenter had taken her own life.

She had fronted Love Island ever since it returned to screens in its current format in 2015.

Jessica Simpson says she felt ‘pushed’ to compete with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera

Jessica Simpson started out in the music biz way back when in the 90s and she admits she felt ‘pushed’ to compete with rival singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera.

Y’know only two of the greats. No biggie.

At the same time she was working on her debut album in 1998, Britney and Christina were giving us gifts like Baby One More Time and Genie In A Bottle.

But while we were all grabbing our hairbrushes and putting ourselves in prime position in front of the mirror to singalong with every line and warble (just me?), Jessica says she was being forced to raise the bar.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she claimed: ‘We grew up in a very competitive environment when it came to our record labels and being pushed to do things that were unnecessary for success.’

Although, Jessica firmly believes that despite their chart battle, there’s a room for all three pop princesses at the top.

‘Everybody has found their own way in such a beautiful, inspiring way,’ she said.

‘I just love it that everybody has remained authentically who they are. There’s so much room at the top! I mean, think about how many people are in heaven!’

Jessica, who auditioned for the Mickey Mouse Club that gave Britney, Christina and Justin Timberlake their big breaks, added: ‘Come on. There’s a lot of room at the top and I am happy to share any top slot with anybody.’

The Dukes of Hazzard star has been giving fans an insight into both her public and private life over the years in new memoir, Open Book.

In the release, Jessica speaks about her messy divorce with Nick Lachey, her battle with alcohol addiction, her past relationships before her marriages and her experience of sexual abuse.

She definitely doesn’t hold back in the tell-all and it seems to have paid off, with Open Book becoming a New York Times number one best seller.

Reacting to her memoir’s success, Jessica told fans on Instagram: ‘I wrote this book thinking if it could help one person get through their struggle it would be worth it.

‘To find out that I have sold enough copies to make me the #1 New York Times best seller is humbling and surreal.

‘I pray every day that I can use my platform for good. I promise to continue to be open and to lead with my mistakes. I promise to be honest and use the voice that God gave me.’

Ben Affleck’s ‘nervous’ about new film with Matt Damon but excited to work with Jodie Comer and Adam Driver

Ben Affleck is ‘nervous’ about his new film The Last Duel with Matt Damon.

Twenty years on from their Oscar win, Ben and Matt have teamed up to write the script for the medieval drama, which is about two knights forced to duel to the death after one is accused of sexually assaulting the other’s wife, played by Jodie Comer.

The 47-year-old actor admitted he’s seriously feeling the pressure about his latest project.

‘I am a little nervous. Because I have never done medieval,’ Ben told Entertainment Tonight.

‘It’s 1386, so it is like armour and swords and stuff like that. But it was a real pleasure working with Matt [Damon] and Nicole Holofcener, who wrote the script with us. Matt and I kept saying, “Why have we not done this more often?”‘

He went on: ‘We just got lucky that our schedules kind of intersected so that we had some free time to share. We got Ridley Scott directing it. And Jodie Comer’s in the movie, so that’s very exciting, and Adam Driver.’

Ben and Matt are no doubt hoping to replicate the magic they created with Good Will Hunting in 1997.

They wrote the screenplay for and starred in the hit drama, winning the Oscar in 1998 for best original screenplay while Robin Williams took home best supporting actor.

The Last Duel will focus on Matt and Adam playing best friends, the Norman knight Jean de Carrouges and the squire Jacques Le Gris.

Jean goes to war and returns to accuse Jacques of raping his wife Marguerite (Jodie).

The synopsis reads: ‘No one will believe the woman, and the solider appeals to King Charles VI of France to undo a decision handed down by Count Pierre d’Anencon, which favoured Le Gris.

‘The decision is that the two men fight a duel to the death. The one left alive would be declared the winner as a sign of God’s will. And if de Carrouges loses, his wife will be burned at the stake for her false accusation.’

Ridley is adapting the movie from Eric Jager’s novel whilst the script has been penned by Matt, Ben and Nicole Holofcener.

Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber become ‘solemates’ as they lock feet and we can’t unsee this

Listen, we’re all for a celebrity friendship, but could you please leave your feet out of this?

No, these aren’t just our delirious ramblings – we’re talking about Cara Delevingne and Kaia Gerber’s toe-tally unnecessary foot display.

The fellow models proved they were true sole-mates (how many puns can we fit into this story?) as they locked their toes together for a snap that we can never, ever, unsee.

Kaia, 18, posted the photo of their efforts on her Instagram Stories, writing: ‘I’ve been dreaming of this day my whole life.’

She also shared a snap of herself locking her fingers through Cara’s toes because sometimes, foot on foot action just isn’t enough.

The gals, who are both in Milan for Fashion Week, have been getting on like a house on fire.

It’s a lot for the eyes (Picture: Instagram)

So much so that during dinner they couldn’t resist a quick game of thumb wars.

What is with these two and appendages?!

Cara’s girlfriend, Ashley Benson, filmed the pair laughing and scrabbling around trying to win the ‘war’ in an Instagram Story she captioned: ‘These two are twins.’

Cara’s been hitting the headlines this week, after firing up some serious beef with Justin Bieber.

https://www.instagram.com/p/B81gDiKF_kK/

The 27-year-old lashed out at the Canadian singer after he ranked Cara as his least favourite of Hailey Baldwin’s mates out of her, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

She called out Justin for his response, sharing a clip of the moment as well as a photo of Justin staring after her on the Victoria’s Secret runway, and another of Cara pulling a funny face in a selfie with the singer.

She wrote: ‘Now vs. Then. If you have nothing against me, then why don’t you unblock me? Love you @haileybieber – he should have just eaten the bull penis.’

In the video, to avoid eating a bull’s penis, Justin responded to the question: ‘Alright, alright… Kendall, Gigi, Cara Delevingne.’

Hayden Panettiere sweetly shouts out ex Wladimir Klitschko for being ‘best father ever’ with cute snap of boxer and their daughter

Hayden Panettierre
Hayden Panettiere says Wladimir Klitschko is the ‘best father ever’ to their daughter Kaya

Hayden Panettiere and her ex- fiancé Wladimir Klitschko may have split nearly two years ago, but there’s clearly no bad blood between herself and the boxer.

The Heroes star was seen praising the boxer on Twitter for being ‘the best father ever’ as shared a cute new photo of Wladimir with their five-year-old daughter Kaya.

In the snap, Wladimir is seen towering over little Kaya while they’re dancing together. Letting the picture speak for itself, Hayden simply tweeted with it: ‘Best father ever.’

She and Wladimir had been together for almost a decade, but split in 2018 and the couple now co-parent.

It’s believed Kaya lives away with dad Wladimir in the Ukraine and Hayden comes and goes between there and LA.

At the beginning of last year, Hayden spoke about how she finds co-parenting with her ex and insisted that she and Wladimir have reamined on good terms.

‘We’re still respectful of each other, and we still have that friendship with each other,’ she said. ‘It’s not a situation that you find yourself in all that often, so it’s a new one. But I think we’ve done a really good job.’

Hayden’s latest tweet comes after her boyfriend Brian Hickerson was arrested on Valentine’s Day following a domestic dispute.

Teton Country Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident at 2.30am at the residence, where Brian, 30, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and interference with a cop – both misdemeanor charges in Wyoming, People reports.

An investigation into the incident is still ongoing, with TMZ reporting that court documents state Brian had allegedly punched Hayden, 30, in the face.

Brian was arrested last year over an argument with Hayden that turned physical and in July it was reported he was facing ‘felony domestic violence charges’.

The charges were dropped a few months later in September and sources claimed he and Hayden had got back together.

Hayden, who is known for starring in US series Nashville, first began dating Brian in 2018, following her split from Wladimir.

Baldur’s Gate 3 coming to Steam early access in 2020, first gameplay footage on Thursday

Baldur's Gate 3 trailer
Baldur’s Gate 3 – coming early to Steam (pic: Larian Studios)

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be out on Steam early access this year, as well as Dungeons & Dragons action game Dark Alliance.

Given its initial cancellation over a decade ago, it’s safe to say that fans were more than happy when Baldur’s Gate 3 rose back from the dead and was confirmed to be in development last year.

At the time, we had no release date but now it’s been confirmed by Hasbro during an investor event, and then reported by DSOGaming, that the aim is to have Baldur’s Gate 3 available on Steam early access later this year.

The game is set to released on Stadia as well – in fact, it was on a Stadia livestream that it was first announced – but there’s no suggestion at the moment that Stadia will support early access.

Although it does seem a little odd that what’s presumed to be a primarily single-player role-playing game would need to go into early access at all.

At the very least, we’ll soon get to see some actual gameplay, as developer Larian Studios will be at PAX East and have confirmed that the footage will be made public on 27 February.

It may seem a bit odd for Hasbro, of all companies, to be announcing this rather than Larian Studios, but the Baldur’s Gate games are licensed Dungeons & Dragons products, the tabletop game from Wizards of the Coast, which Hasbro is the parent company of.

Hasbro also announced that the Dungeons & Dragons action game Dark Alliance will come to Steam early access this year and reconfirmed that it has plans for seven or eight Dungeons & Dragons games in total, with the idea being to release at least one new one every year until 2025.

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be made available for PC and Stadia.

Elle Fanning shares the sweetest throwback video to wish big sis Dakota happy birthday

Elle Fanning just proved that she and sister Dakota spent their childhoods pretty much doing exactly the same as all of us, dressing up and making music videos to ours hearts’ content.

Wishing her sister Dakota, who stars in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood alongside Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, happy birthday, Elle shared a video of the girls as kids dancing around to the Black Eyes Peas.

Their song of choice? My Humps (because it’s an absolute tune, of course).

The girls are seen dancing around in what looks like a pretty sick playroom, while giggling as they made bums and boobs out of pillows and dropped the lyrics in true Fergie fashion.

In her caption, Elle wrote: ‘Yep. I just had to. Happy Birthday @dakotafanning I love you.’

Oh Elle, we’re so glad you did.

Elle, 21, was then seen joking that Dakota, 26, is her little big sis, while sharing a pic of herself and her sibling to her Instagram story.

‘Older but smaller, my little big sis,’ she cooed.

While fans will recognise actress Dakota from flicks such as I Am Sam, Man on Fire, War of the Worlds and The Twilight Saga, Elle has appeared in The Beguiled and Maleficent, alongside Angelina Jolie.

Elle admits that seeing her sister act inspired her to follow suit and the two used to put on little scenes around the house (when they weren’t getting down to the Black Eyed Peas, that is).

Speaking to Tatler magazine for their November issue, Elle explained: ‘Well, I saw my sister doing it and I was a huge ham growing up.

‘We would constantly put on these scenes around the house. It wasn’t for anyone, only for ourselves.

‘We would do lines, characters, it was very funny. It just felt right at home for us.’

They may have bid farewell to the Love Island villa, but Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu are just too loved-up to care.

The policeman and his 25-year-old girlfriend looked all sorts of cute as they walked along hand-in-hand in London on Monday.

The beaming couple – who recently talked wedding bells – even dressed the same, opting for matching denim for their first public appearance.

Is this the most clothes we’ve ever seen them wearing?

Yes, is the answer. We knew there was a reason we were confused.

The cute duo are clearly still feeling that Love Island spark as they paid a sweet Instagram tribute to each other upon returning to the UK.

They shared identical photos of themselves hugging on Sunday and gushed about each other in the accompanying captions.

Mike wrote: ‘We’re back! What an amazing journey this has been. I’m actually lost for words at the love you have shown me and my family during my time in the villa. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

‘I also want to thank my girlfriend @PriscillaAnyabu_ for making this the best experience of my life. This is the beginning of a beautiful journey and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing woman.’

Oh, you GUYS.

In response, Priscilla praised Mike for making her feel so ‘comfortable’ and hinted at their promising future together.

‘@michaelboateng01 has been there throughout my journey on Love Island and has made me feel comfortable and loved!’ she posted.

‘This is only the beginning and I am excited to explore what the future holds.’

The couple, who officially became boyfriend and girlfriend during a romantic date last week, have been inseparable since they landed back on home turf.

They cosied up on Sunday night to watch the Love Island final together and cheered on Paige Turley and Finley Tapp when they won.

‘[Paigey baby we’re proud of you guys!’ Priscilla whooped, while Mike shrieked: ‘Well done!’

Phillip Schofield came close to tears on today’s This Morning when producer Brian Cox praised him for coming out.

The presenter came out as gay on the programme last month in an emotional interview with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, and his bravery didn’t go unnoticed by the Succession showrunner.

Before he signed off his interview with Phil and Holly Willoughby, Brian told the host: ‘By the way, I wanted to say to you, well done. For what you did.

‘I was very proud of what you did, I thought it as a remarkable thing.’

An emotional Phil replied: ‘Thank you. You’ll make me. Thank you.’

This Morning audiences were overcome at Brian’s heartfelt comments and shared appreciation for his kindness on social media, writing: ‘What a lovely thing to say to Scofe on This Morning.’ (sic)

Echoing a similar sentiment, another added: ‘Brian Cox, a truly lovely man.’

Phillip broke down in tears on This Morning last month as he discussed the pain he has caused his family as he made the brave announcement that he is gay.

As the 57-year-old bravely opened up about coming to terms with his sexuality, he admitted that as much as he feels relieved, he knows how much he has hurt his wife of 27 years Steph and his two daughters, Molly and Ruby.

‘It’s funny because everyone I have spoken to, you have all been so supportive,’ he began.

‘Every person I tell it gets a little lighter, it is essential for me and my head, and of course, I am very aware that Steph and the girls are at home watching this.

‘There is no question that this has caused pain and upset.’

Celebrities have rallied around Phil since he came out, with pals such as Holly Willoughby, David Walliams and John Barrowman showing their support and pride.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.

Succession’s Brian Cox had awkward cafe run-in with Rupert Murdoch’s son-in-law over Logan Roy

Succession star Brian Cox is used to some awkward run-ins, but got a bit more than he bargained for when he met the son-in-law of Rupert Murdoch – who’s used as an influence behind his character, Logan Roy.

Speaking on This Morning, Brian revealed that the awkward encounter happened at his local café – when a seemingly average fan approached him.

‘I was in there and I just heard this voice behind me saying “we’re liking the show”. And I’m like “Oh thank you”,’ Brian explained.

‘They say “we are, we are. It’s difficult at times, but we’re liking it.”  I said, oh good thank you, very kind.

‘I said “Why is it difficult?” and he said: “Well, my wife, you know, she finds it difficult at times, but she’s enjoying it.” And I said: “Oh good? And your wife…?”

‘Elisabeth Murdoch.’

… Whoops.

‘Yeah, I was lost for words,’ he laughed. ‘I was completely lost for words.

‘His final shot to me was: “You will be kinder to her next season, won’t you?” and I said “Oh yeah, we’ll be a lot kinder”.’

The Roy family are fighting for the family empire in Succession (Picture: HBO)

Phillip Schofield then pointed out that the encounter surely means that the Murdochs, owners of some of the biggest media conglomerates in the world, are aware that the show is based on them, despite the casts insistence it’s not based on any specific family.

Remaining insistent that the Roy family – a family fighting over who stakes a claim over a massive business dynasty created by patriarch Logan – is not the Murdochs, Brian said: ‘No it’s not. They do watch it apparently, but they are an inspiration for it, but they’re not it.

‘I say the big difference between Logan Roy and Murdoch, is Rupert Murdoch comes from inherited business. Logan Roy comes from nothing, so he’s far more nihilist.’

Filming for the new season of the smash-hit show is set to kick off in April, with Brian previously saying he wanted Kieran Culkin’s character to take centre stage next season.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV.

Demi Rose tragically lost both parents just seven months apart and she hopes speaking out on her ‘grief’ will help others coping with the death of their loved ones.

The 24-year-old model lost her father, Barrie Mawby, in October 2018 following a battle with cancer. She was then hit with the death of her beloved mother, Christine Mawby, seven months later in June 2019.

Despite the immense devastation, Demi has discussed her heartache to help others who may be struggling to cope with the death of loved ones.

Speaking on the PrettyLittleThing podcast, the British model explained: ‘I’ve lost both of my parents, my dad [to] cancer and my mum had a heart attack which caused a stroke when I was 17 and I was left as her carer as she was left disabled.

‘I was caring for her for so many years, about 7 years.’

Explaining how the loss impacted her life as a young adult, Demi revealed: ‘Then my dad passed away with cancer and then my mum then sadly passed away 7 months after him with a stomach infection, and it just made me grow up really fast and be really really strong about things.’

She continued: ‘And I think if I can inspire people by talking about grief, then you know if they can relate to me and they can understand it a little bit and I can help them then that’s important to me.

‘I’ve gone through a lot, so I can talk on it.

‘I feel like nothing can really affect me now, nothing can really make me feel a certain way – I’ve gone through it all.’

Fortunately, Demi had a strong support system around her as she added: ‘It’s just part of life’s plan and you’ve got to be strong about it. I couldn’t have prayed for better friends.’

Demi broke the sad news of her mother’s death last summer in an Instagram post, which said: ‘Heaven gained an angel today. R.I.P. Mommy.’

She also shared a photo of two birds together by water with the caption: ‘Saw these two love birds on set today. I hoped they were Mom & Dad paying a visit.’

Model Demi Rose

After her father Barry’s death in 2018, she announced: ‘R.I.P Dad. You were the best father I could’ve ever wished for. The most caring, supportive, knowledgable and loving man I’ve ever known.

‘God bless you and thank you for everything. Hope to see you one day in heaven again. 03.10.18 [sic].’

Demi was known to have a close relationship with her mother Christine, who once expressed her support of her daughter’s modelling career.

In a previous interview, Christine said: ‘She always said she wouldn’t do nudity – not that we’ve told her not to.

‘Her pictures are racy and suggestive but she shows them all to us. We’re right behind her.’

Last November, Demi went viral when a clip of her walking awkwardly at a fashion show began circulating on social media.

While hitting back at the trolls, Demi explained that she was grieving at the time of the show.

‘All jokes aside yes I’m not the best runway model,’ the model hit back.

‘I was super nervous, didn’t want to do it, my top went missing backstage, my shoes were too big for me in height and size not to mention I was dealing with personal issues loosing my parents, my mom a month before [sic].’
