The Sex Clinic returns in brutal fashion tonight as a main is left screaming in agony as a freezing cold spray is aimed directly at his penis.
Marco visits the doctors on the show for help after finding a lump on his foreskin, and is worried what it could mean.
But he gets a rude awakening when he discovers that its genital warts, which have been caused by unprotected sex.
The only way to get rid of them? A cryotherapy treatment where liquid nitrogen a horrific -210°C in temperature is sprayed directly on the area.
Once they’re frozen, they are then pulled off by the doctor.
Marco’s screaming can be heard down the corridor by those waiting in the reception area as he endures the treatment – with those who can hear him unsure how nervous they should be about it.
Watching the procedure get underway in a clip from the newest series, Marco looks in some serious pain as Dr Sarah Mulindwa gets to work on the infected area.
Marco then speaks for all of us as he declares: ‘Don’t do unprotected sex guys, that’s what happens.’
Viewers are later educated on genital warts, revealing many people carrying the infection might not show symptoms.
There is a rise in sexually transmitted infections across the UK, with nearly half a million cases last year.
The Sex Clinic aims to help break down the taboo surrounding sexual health with a series of procedures to make you aware of the issues surrounding it.
Though if this clip is anything to go by, you might have to watch through your fingers.
The Sex Clinic airs tonight at 10pm on E4.

Ariana Grande’s dreamy appearance alongside Jim Carrey in the absurdly trippy season 2 of Kidding has finally arrived.
The Showtime series follows children’s TV star Ted Pickles (Carrey), an icon to generations of kids whose unbeatable kindness and wisdom on Pickles Puppet Time has sealed his place as one of America’s heroes. But after the death of one of his sons, Ted struggles to navigate through a life pained with grief.
During last night’s instalment, the fifth in season 2, pop perfectionist Ariana appeared in an entire episode of Pickles Puppet Time as Piccola Grande, a green fairy who helps the puppets of Pickle Barrel Falls say goodbye – a metaphor for Ted’s impending divorce as he braces himself to sign away his marriage.
Showrunner David Holstein insisted Grande was snapped up for more than just her star power. The singer, famously a life-long Carrey fan, was simply the perfect fit.
‘She just has this crushing emotional voice, which fit our show so well,’ Holstein told Mashable.
‘Her voice, especially in the right context, really accesses that part behind your eyes that decides whether or not you cry.
‘We wanted to take full advantage of that, especially to emphasize the beauty in Jeff’s world.’
Grande’s vocals will appear again before the season is done while Ke$ha and Tyler, the creator are about to pop up too.
Ahead of last night’s Kidding, Grande shared a black and white video of herself duetting with Carrey which, obviously, caused mass hysteria among her 176 million Instagram followers.
Kidding airs on Showtime in the US and will come to Sky Atlantic in the UK.

Leonardo DiCaprio reunited with his Django Unchained co-star Jamie Foxx on Sunday night and honestly, their bromance is too pure for this world.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star, 45, surprised Jamie by presenting him with the Excellence In The Awards award at the American Black Film Festival Honors at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Leo – who tried to sneakily watch the boxing later that night – declared that Jamie, 52, is a ‘magnetic force in any room that he inhabits’ who lifts up everyone around him.
Clearly feeling the love after his pal’s speech, Jamie said, ‘I love you, man.’
He added: ‘You are my friend and my colleague and this means the world.’
The Ray actor said the showbiz industry will ‘always need black people’ because they will, ‘tell you what the f**k it really is,’ as the crowd cheered.
‘You can’t slip on your talent, which is why it means so much to get this award,’ he added.
‘People always talk about the Oscar, we got to stop thinking about the Oscar and celebrate our own thing, our own blackness.’
Other honorees at the awards included Harriet actress Cynthia Erivo with the Rising Star Award and Lena Waithe for the Industry Resistance Award.
Jamie and Leo’s friendship goes way back to 2012, when they filmed the slave drama Django Unchained.
Jamie played freed slave turned bounty hunter Djano in the pre-Civil War South, while Leo portrayed ruthless plantation owner Calvin Candie, the vicious owner of Django’s beloved wife.
And while they’re BFFs in real life, they had to snub each other on set because of director Quentin Tarantino’s orders.
Jamie recalled how one day Leo completely ignored him.
‘I said, “What’s up, Leo?”‘ he told Oprah on her show Oprah’s Next Chapter.
‘He did not speak to me. I asked myself, “Did he not hear me?”‘
The singer said his co-star maintained the silent treatment all day.
‘He went way in to where it’s like, “Okay, now you’re really going there. And that was what was needed,’ Jamie recalled.

It’s probably a unanimous decision that Jennifer Lopez – and Shakira – absolutely killed their Super Bowl performance.
From the diva hair flicks, to the pole dancing and all the shimmying and shaking, the Latina pop stars easily placed themselves right alongside the likes of Beyonce, Prince and Lady Gaga as one of the most enjoyable Super Bowl halftime shows we’ve seen yet.
The show was even more impactful in that J.Lo and Shakira did it together, showing unity for the Latino community and female singers.
Three weeks after the performance, fans are still trying to learn each step of the dance move, reflect on the upward notion and something like it and even more often than not, a handful of settings there.
Three weeks after the performance, fans are still trying to learn each step of the choreography from J.Lo’s cane dance during Get Right to Shakira’s Hips Don’t Lie moves.
And taking us behind the scenes of the Super Bowl set is Jennifer’s longtime dancer, Michael Metuakore, who has just about recovered from the unforgettable night.
Michael was front and centre of J.Lo’s seven-minute set, giving all the energy during numbers like On The Floor, Jenny From The Block and Get Right.
It was all put together in just two months, which is actually a long amount of time considering J.Lo and Shakira’s sets lasted around seven minutes each.
But every step was rehearsed to precision.
While Jennifer and her dancers made it look incredibly easy, they still faced challenges with the choreography on the day.
Notably during the Get Right routine which required them all to perform shoulder-popping dance moves with a cane.
‘Being a dancer, anytime we have a prop, it’s more challenging to be clean, in time and to look in sync with one another,’ Michael told Metro.co.uk exclusively.
‘So you’re trying to swing at the same speed but then we’re all different heights or different sizes. That was the hardest number to get clean and get perfect.’
Michael recalled: ‘We spent hours on that routine. And before we left for the Christmas break, we had already done most of the show. So when we came back in January, it was kind of like refining everything and making it perfect and clean and making minor changes.
‘But since day one, right up until the show, we were cleaning, we were running it. That number was very hard to clean.’
It was certainly a unique experience for Michael, who has danced with Jennifer since 2014 after leaving New Zealand, and is used to learning her dance routines.
But of course, Shakira was a new element and their dancers joined forces for an epic closing number at the end.
‘This was an interesting period for Jen to be able to share such an important moment in her career with somebody else,’ Michael explained.
‘Because initially, I didn’t think Shakira was supposed to do the halftime show and then she got brought in last minute and then it became a whole big thing.
‘From what I could see, because we were always kind of around the rehearsal process, they both work very hard. They both have the same intentions. They’re very strong Latina women and it was great to be a part of.’
Shakira wasn’t the only star J.Lo shared the Super Bowl stage with, as her daughter Emme made a surprise appearance.
The 12-year-old sang a solo part before uniting with her mum for a rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA and a quick line from Get Loud.
Basically, little Emme is a star in the making and Michael was blown away by her confidence on the world stage.
‘She has an incredible voice… [she] is so talented,’ the dancer admitted.
‘For a girl that age to be able to sing and have confidence and control in front of an audience like that at the Super Bowl,’ he said.
‘I’m like I would be shaking. I could not do that.’
Clearly Emme is a chip off the old block with J.Lo as her mother and Latin superstar Marc Anthony as her father.
But even hard-as-nails Jen had slight nerves about some parts of the performance.
‘Maybe like the week before the show, we were passing in the rehearsal room,’ Michael recalled.
‘And she said to me, “Baby is the show hard?” I’m like, “Jen, I’m dying. The show is hard”. And also, am allowed to say that [to J.Lo?]
‘I was like, “I have no idea but I’m totally with you. You know, we’ve been here with you since day one”.
‘But, I honestly felt the most prepared in my entire career for any performance. And it was like this energy just came over me and I just went for it.’
Luckily, Jennifer had her fiance Alex Rodriguez on-hand for support every step of the way.
Michael revealed: ‘He is a businessman as well so I feel like it’s natural for him to listen, and then input ideas and everything.
‘But from what we saw and know, because by the time he came in, everything was already set, I feel like he was giving feedback on her performance in rehearsal.’
With all that time spent watching the rehearsals, Alex couldn’t help but try the dances himself, even if he couldn’t quite grasp the moves.
Bless him.
‘He always tries to dance a lot,’ Michael recalled laughing.
‘I feel like he knows that he can’t or he’s not that good of a dancer, but he always tries. But it’s always good to have his energy around, he always manages to find the right words.
‘He kind of like brings her to a place where she can be calm. I love them.’
Of course, after the show is the after-party and once Jen was done amazing us with her show-womanship, it was time to unwind with all that made it happen seamlessly.
And where better to unwind than a super yacht?
‘First of all, she was exhausted,’ Michael revealed.
Well, that’s certainly understandable after literally performing cartwheels.
‘And all the dancers are always hungry after a show so that’s the first thing we went through was the food.
‘Jen comes out and she’s watching us watching the performance and she sees us she comes over and she was like, “You guys did it. You guys did. I’m so happy”. I was like, “No mumma, you did it. You did it, we’re only as good as our leader and she was so sweet”.’
Michael continued: ‘After the food comes the drinks and the alcohol and we started having a good time and dancing.
‘I think she was kind of just making her rounds by seeing everybody, thanking them for coming and for her performance, and then we finally cut the cake at the end.
‘And she said a good speech about just being grateful that she’s in this position in her life and thanks God.
‘She thanked her fiance especially. It was just a good moment for her to just take it all in.’
Michael added: ‘She really commits 1,000% and she will sacrifice whatever she needs to sacrifice.
‘It was nice to be around that energy because we work so hard.’

If you’re a Pokémon fan, chances are you’ve been eagerly looking forward to the arrival of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon remake which is due out very soon.
The game, which was originally released on Game Boy Advance and DS back in 2006, has gone on to inspire five different games, many of which have multiple versions.
It’s the original which is getting the remake though – so just when can we expect it, and on which format?
Here’s what you need to know…
When is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon released?
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon’s remake is released on Friday 6 March.
Announcing the launch back in January, The Pokémon Company said: ‘In 2006, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team games were released for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS systems in Japan.
‘In 2020, these titles will gain a new life on Nintendo Switch.’
Players have since been given the chance to try out a free demo of the game – with any progress they make being carried through to the main game when it’s released.
What formats will Pokémon Mystery Dungeon be released on?
Mystery Dungeon is part of a crossover series which has seen spin-offs of everything from Dragon Quest through to Final Fantasy and Etrian Odyssey
It has spawned five games, including Explorers Of Time and Explorers of Darkness, and Gates To Infinity.
The idea of the game is that players play as a pokémon rather than a trainer – with the new game featuring a hand-drawn art style, and allowing players to have up to eight pokémon travelling with them at the same time.
The jury found Weinstein not guilty on the most serious charge, predatory sexual assault, which could have resulted in a life sentence for the former Hollywood producer.
A judge ordered Weinstein to be jailed immediately after his conviction. He’ll remain in custody until his 11 March sentencing.
Following the conviction, Weinstein was handcuffed and led him out of the courtroom. The judge said he will request that Weinstein be held in the infirmary after his lawyers said he needs medical attention following an unsuccessful back surgery.
Weinstein faced five charges of rape and sexual assault – one count of rape in the first degree, one count of rape in the third degree, one count of a criminal sexual act in the first degree, and two counts of predatory sexual assault – to which he pleaded not guilty.
He arrived at court after breakfast at the Four Seasons New York Downtown hotel, wearing a navy blue suit and leaning on a walker. He appeared to be in an upbeat mood as he said ‘Good morning everyone,’ to reporters in the courthouse hallway and paused for photos.
The charges were in relation to allegations made by two women. Weinstein was accused of raping a woman in a New York hotel room in 2013 and forcibly performing oral sex on another woman in 2006.
In Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi’s closing statement, she branded him an ‘abusive rapist’ and a ‘predator’, saying: ‘When Harvey Weinstein met the witnesses, he looked quite different than he does today.
‘They were scared. They felt isolated and they were alone.’
Donna Rotunno, Weinstein’s attorney, told the jurors in her closing statement: ‘Have the courage to make the right decision, no matter how unpopular you might be when you get back to work or your home.’
By doing so, ‘you can show the world that here in New York, here in the United States, we will not allow outside forces to dictate’.
Rotunno also claimed that prosecutors had created an ‘alternate universe’ where ‘women are not responsible for the parties they attend, the men they flirt with, the choices they make to further their own careers, the hotel room invitations and the plane tickets they accept’.
‘In this script, the powerful man is the villain, and he’s so powerful and large that no woman would want to sleep with him.’
One of the accusers, 34, said of her encounter with Weinstein in a hotel suite in 2013, claiming he ‘grabbed’ her: ‘I was like, “Woah woah woah. I told you I wasn’t sexual and I don’t know you”, all this stuff trying to calm it down.
‘I didn’t know if he was a burn victim but it would make sense. He does not have testicles and it appears like he has a vagina. He does have a penis.’
She also claimed: ‘He also peed on me once. It was like being discarded after I served a purpose.’
In addition to the two women accusing Weinstein of rape, a number of ‘bad actor’ witnesses testified to strengthen the prosecution’s case.
Actress Annabella Sciorra took to the stand and alleged that Weinstein pinned her hands behind her head and violently raped’ her 25 years ago.
The Sopranos star said: ‘He had intercourse with me as I tried to fight, but I couldn’t fight anymore because he had my hands locked.’
‘It was just so disgusting that my body started to shake in a way that was very unusual. It was like a seizure or something… He was frightening.
‘I’m not sure if I fainted or fell asleep or blacked out, but I woke up on the floor with my nightgown kind of up and I didn’t know if something else had happened.’
One witness alleged she was raped by Weinstein in his apartment in 2005, another that she was groped in a hotel bathroom in 2013.
The defense attempted to discredit the two key accusers throughout the trial, pointing out that the alleged rape victim maintained a relationship with Weinstein and exchanged friendly emails with the mogul.
This trial came over two years after the New York Times published an exposé detailing decades of allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Weinstein, including allegations from Rose McGowan and Ashley Judd.
Since then, over 90 women, including stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Paz de la Huerta, Cara Delevingne and Lupita Nyong’o, have made allegations against Weinstein.
Louisa Johnson is back with brand new music and this time round, she’s putting pen to paper to lead the crusade for self-love and body positivity.
She first found herself thrown into the spotlight five years ago, when she won The X Factor back in 2015 and has since gone on to collaborate with big names like Olly Murs and Clean Bandit.
But deciding to venture into new territory of penning her own music, Louisa exclusively tells Metro.co.uk that she’s hoping to help others feel better about themselves by sharing her own hang ups and insecurities in her new tracks.
Her first self-penned song, Like I Love Me, is basically a love letter to herself, to big herself up on her down days when she’s not feeling so confident in her own skin.
It’s sassy, it’s feel good and it’s whole vibe is really reminding us of JoJo back in the day. And that we are so here for.
Lyrics include: ‘I’m standing in the mirror, again I run my fingers through my hair Appreciate every mark, every scar, every imperfection, I wouldn’t change a f**kin’ thing’ and ‘ Do you love me like I love me? Do you love my body like I love my body.’
‘I think that every girl, every woman… everyone gets put under a lot of pressure these days. I feel like I’ve experienced that pressure too, just the same as everybody else and I just wanted to write about it,’ Louisa revealed.
‘I went into the studio and I wrote that song when I wasn’t feeling great and it made me feel better. I wanted to share that with other people and turn what could be a pressurised situation into something positive.’
Louisa first dropped the track last month, along with a stripped back music video that sees her ditch the make-up and the usual video glam in the hope of pushing across the tune’s powerful message.
But was she nervous to be so exposed?
‘I think I was,’ she said. ‘I was really excited because it’s the first song that I’ve written that’s gone out there, but I was really nervous too because obviously it’s a very personal thing for anybody to talk about… I’m happy that I did it and I just hope it helps other people.’
It came as Louisa made a conscious decision to start being more real on social media, whether that means posing with a bloated stomach after demolishing a pizza, snapping a selfie with no make-up or detailing her internal battle with anxiety.
Asked why she felt she wanted to be more open online, Louisa said: ‘I think it just helps make you, personally, at ease and it does help other people.
‘If I can do anything to help others, then I will. I thought it would be a nice way to let people in and show them that everyone can be vulnerable and everyone has their own insecurities.’
Being in the public eye and the scrutiny that comes with it can heighten insecurities, but Louisa says she’s learned how to deal with the days when she’s not feeling her best.
‘I just keep around me the people that I love and just do things that make me happy. It’s quite simple but they are the most important things,’ she admitted.
After getting her head down in the studio, Louisa is now focused on putting out her new material and dropping her debut album.
But before she does, she’s putting on her very first headline show in London at 100 Wardour Street – as part of the venue’s Wednesday Originals where artists can showcase their original music and covers – to give fans a taste of what’s to come.
‘I’m excited because I’ve never really done my own headline show before,’ Louisa revealed. ‘I’m excited to try out some new music and see what people think of it.’
Well, she’s definitely go us on board.
Catch Louisa at 100 Wardour Street on Wednesday 26 February, for more info visit here.

Last January, the 37-year-old filed a police report claiming he’d been beaten by two masked men who put a noose around his neck.
The city of Chicago then accused Jussie of falsifying a police report and orchestrating the attack himself.
He has always maintained his innocence and all charges against him were dropped.
Today, the actor faced new counts of disorderly conduct, stemming from four separate allegedly false reports he gave to the police.
Jussie allegedly claimed to be the victim of a hate crime ‘knowing he was not the victim of a crime’, special prosecutor Dan Webb said earlier this month.
The TV star’s attorney, Tina Glandian said the indictment ‘raises serious questions about the integrity of the investigation that led to the renewed charges’.
Jussie, who played Jamal Lyon in the hit series Empire, said he was walking home in the early hours of 29 January 2019 when two masked men approached him.
He claimed they hurled racist and homophobic insults, beat him up, poured bleach on him and placed a noose around his neck before fleeing.
He also alleged that one of his abusers told him: ‘This is MAGA country,’ in reference to Donald Trump’s campaign slogan.
However, Chicago Police later accused Jussie of paying two friends to help him stage the attack as he wasn’t happy with his salary on Empire.
Jussie was charged with 16 felonies but, despite being indicted by a grand jury, the State Attorney later dropped all charges.
In November, it emerged that Jussie was in turn suing the city for malicious prosecution.

Pop sensation Mabel has been forced to cancel the Italy part of her Europe tour as the country is struggling to contain the coronavirus.
The number of confirmed cases in the country has now reached 200, and a sixth person died from it on Monday.
And as the virus doesn’t show signs of stopping, Mabel was forced to break bad news to her fans and tell them she’s not going to be performing.
The Brit award-winner was meant to be playing in Milan at the Magazine Generali tonight but has now called it off.
Mabel told her fans on Twitter, promising them she would try to reschedule the concert.
‘Due to recent events concerning the Coronavirus in Italy, we’ve been advised by the Minister of Health and the President of the Lombardy region not to go ahead with tomorrow’s show in Milan,’ the 24-year-old wrote.
‘So sad to have to write this, but safety is the absolute priority here!
‘Hoping to reschedule soon. Love Mx.’
Italy has had to lock down towns and cancel events for the Venice Carnival. They’ve even been disinfecting boats and gondolas in a bid to fight Covid-19, also known as coronavirus.
So far everyone who has died from the disease has been elderly, with two of the six people also suffering from underlying health problems.
The news that Mabel has cancelled her Italy leg will be disappointing to fans.
She’s just played X and is getting ready to play Zurich, Switzerland tomorrow and Paris, France on Wednesday.

Sheridan Smith was glowing at a charity musical in London last night, which she attended with fiance Jamie Horn.
The actress and her partner stepped out at a performance of The Pirate Queen in aid of Leukaemia UK at The London Coliseum.
Seriously, she looks so happy!
Sheridan announced her pregnancy back in October after saying she had a ‘baby on board’ while performing on a cruise ship, before joking about ‘this morning sickness lark.’
The drama will tell the story of Grindr serial killer Stephen Port and the four young men whose lives he took after administering fatal doses of drug GHB.
Sheridan will portray the mother of one of the victims, Anthony Walgate, while Jamie Winstone will play the sister of another, Jack Taylor.

The spiritual successor to Theme Hospital comes to consoles and offers a powerful antidote to boring strategy games.
Compared to saving the world from rampaging aliens/demons/terrorists organising an efficient radiology department doesn’t seem like the most inspiring of video game goals. But if you’ve ever played Bullfrog classic Theme Hospital then you’ll know that it’s a lot more fun than it sounds. And if you’ve never played modern day homage Two Point Hospital, but wished it would come to Nintendo Switch and other consoles, then this is your chance.
Back in 1997, when Theme Hospital was first released, it was created as a follow-up to Theme Park. As unlikely as it may seem, it worked in the same broad fashion, except instead of building rollercoasters you were setting up examination rooms and instead of shortening the queue to the hall of mirrors it was the GP’s office. To keep things light though, all the illness were fictious and silly, and that is also the case with Two Point Hospital.
From the Wallace & Gromit style character designs to patients wandering around with literal verbal diarrhoea, this is one of the few times when a British developer makes their country of origin obvious through the gameplay. But as silly as it seems on the surface, Two Point Hospital is a serious business simulator, with a lot of depth and nuance to its many options, that require a considerable amount of macro and micromanagement.
Two Point Hospital is naturally well suited to the Switch, but while it may not have state-of-the-art graphics there are a lot of characters wandering about, with fairly complex artificial intelligence. As a result, there can be some frame rate issues at time, but since this isn’t an action game they don’t really interfere with the gameplay and the benefit of playing on a handheld is well worth the minor performance hit.
Almost predictably, this is yet another game that was designed for mouse control and yet inexplicably refuses to use the touchscreen. However, since the interface has been designed to work on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well, a considerable amount of thought has clearly gone into it and it’s all impressively intuitive. The text size, another common problem with PC ports, is also fine, even on the smaller Switch Lite screen.
The console version of the game also has two of the three DLC packs included for free, so there’s plenty of content here and good value for money. Two Point Hospital is an enjoyably absurd example of what can often be a rather staid and overcomplicated genre. Running your own hospital may not sound like fun but this is the perfect cure for those looking for something a little different from the action game norm.
In Short: Another excellent PC-to-Switch port that revives the Theme Hospital with a heavy dose of humour and impressively involved business management.
Pros: As a strategy game there’s a huge amount to see and do, with plenty of scope to play things your way. Keen sense of humour avoids any problems with the setting.
Cons: Not really very different from the 20-year-old Theme Hospital. Some frame rate problems.
Score: 8/10
Formats: Nintendo Switch (reviewed), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC Price: £34.99 Publisher: Sega Developer: Red Kite Games and Two Point Studios Release Date: 25th February 2020 Age Rating: 3
Simon Cowell is fast making a media mogul out of his six-year-old son Eric, with the pair joining forces on a new children’s entertainment brand, Wishfits.
And, honestly, we’re not even children but sign us up!
Because he’s clearly not got enough going on in his own career, Syco boss Simon has got his adorable son with partner Lauren Silverman on board to help put together seven books.
Yes, seven – they’re going to be busy boys over the coming years.
The first three pictures books are set to be released in 2021, with a portion of the profits going to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and Together for Short Lives.
Publishing giant Hachette, the entertainment mogul and the schoolboy will launch their unique partnership with the publication of three books beginning in spring next year and we suppose it’ll take about four seconds for each copy to sell out.
Never fear, though, as four more books will then follow the next year.
But WTH is a Wishfit?
The Wishfits – unveiled by Simon as the highlight of the annual Hachette Global Showcase at The Cambridge Theatre in central London today – are ‘magical and unusual creatures which have evolved in a weird and wonderful way, combining two different species to form hybrid animals with very distinct characteristics’.
Intel tells us some of them are ‘part friendly, part fierce, others are both furry and scaly’.
Alright, we’re picking up what they’re putting down.
The characters dreamt up by Simon and Eric have some pretty intriguing names as well, such as the DAT (dog/cat) the COG (cat/dog), the SNOG (snail/dog – the enthusiasm of a dog at the speed of a snail, if you needed more info), the PEEP (pig/sheep) the CHUG (cheetah/slug – the slowest cat in the world) and the HIPPOROO (hippo/kangaroo).
‘To be able to write a series of books with my son Eric has been magical. This idea was inspired three years ago by a very special friend of ours who runs a Children’s Hospice charity,’ Simon said of his latest endeavour today. ‘I told her one evening about some of the funny animals my son Eric and I would invent, starting with the Cog and the Dat. And how every evening the two of us would think of the most unlikely animal we would like to have as a pet.’
He continued: ‘We would come up with some very strange new animals and the naming of the animals was Eric’s favourite thing! She loved this idea so much she encouraged me to turn this into a book series.’
Simon added: ‘I really do believe it’s important to encourage kids’ creativity and imagination. I also believe kids have better ideas than most adults.’
And what Wishfits are Eric’s favourite?
‘My favourite Wishfits right now are probably the Snog and Dat and Cog and the Chimpanpoo!’ the youngen said. ‘I really hope that one day I can meet them all!’
‘My perspective on life is slightly different than it used to be. I used to be really competitive, read the ratings and have white knuckles. Now I find it funny,’ he told The Sun back in 2018. ‘At the end of the day I always go back to Eric, who will hopefully one day be running these shows — one day, please God.’
The books will launch in paperback at £6.99 in spring 2021.

Winter Love Island crowned its first-ever winners in Paige Turley and Finely Tapp last night against all the odds, but it was clear which moment bagged them the £50,000 and snatched it from nearest rivals, Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman.
Finn’s tears were genuine, no one’s denying that, but they were also the couple’s golden ticket to go all the way. And Siannise knew it, according to Metro.co.uk’s body language expert Judi James.
In the latest episode of Love or Lie Island, Judi tells us: ‘Siannise’s face says it all because she saw the prize money going out of her hand at that point.’
‘[Tears] part of our survival process in terms of body language so they make us look helpless and also they have a contagious effect,’ she explained.
‘The whole thing about tears will be in terms of survival is when you see someone crying like that you can’t help having empathy with them and mirroring their state.
‘In animal behaviour the actual animal that’s about attack would back down. And I think the moment he was going to blub like that you knew he was going to win. Even though I’m thinking, “oh give him an Oscar” I was still trying not to tear up.
‘That’s why she started crying: it’s very much the wedding effect. This replicated wedding, it replicates the wedding speech when you get all gooey about the other half and it’s all projective tears.
‘The fact he’s this big guy and he tried to hide his tears. There were women all over the land whose hearts were breaking at that point – it was excellent, so well-timed.
‘And Siannise’s face was obviously loving them to bits but think, “ok..”’
After Paige and Finley were crowned champions of Winter Love Island 2020, Siannise and Luke T insisted they’d already won because they found each other.
To us, their adoring public, they will always be the true winners of Winter Love Island 2020.
Love Island returns to ITV2 later this year.

Christina Milian knows there’s no rest for the wicked as she stepped out to throw a party for her young daughter Violet – barely a month after welcoming a newborn son, Isaiah.
Impressive!
In fact, the new mum was beaming as she arrived at a PrettyLittleThing store in West Hollywood for the celebration.
The party was to mark Violet’s birthday: she turns 10 on 26 February. Tweenhood beckons!
Violet’s father is record producer The-Dream.
Meanwhile Baby Isaiah was born last month.
Announcing the new arrival on Instagram that day, Christina said: ‘And so we begin. Isaiah 1/20/20.
Matt shared his own tribute to his new son, writing in a caption: ‘Once upon a time, there was Isaiah, born January 20, 2020… it’s up to you to write the rest. Welcome my son.’
Matt has served as a coach on The Voice Kids France and the French version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Christina – known for hits like AM To PM and Say I – has been dating Matt since meeting him at a French restaurant in August 2017.
Christina told E! of the first night they met: ‘So we switched numbers, found out we had the same birthday that night, and it was like the stars aligned.’
She added that, on the very night they met, Matt predicted they’d one day have a child together. How bizarre…
‘He told me, “We’re going to have a child together”,’ she explained. ‘I’ve never had anybody say that to me.’

One of Nintendo’s oldest collaborators are celebrating their ruby anniversary, but what do you really know about the makers of EarthBound and Pokémon Snap?
On 21 February 1980, Japanese developer HAL Laboratory was established. Some people may not recognise the name, but it has played an important role in Nintendo’s history, despite technically being an independent company.
It was where both Super Smash Bros. director and creator Masahiro Sakurai and former Nintendo president Satoru Iwata got their starts, and while it may not be as well-known as other Nintendo-related studios like Game Freak (the Pokémon people), HAL has been responsible for some rather prolific and noteworthy titles over its 40 years of business.
So to help celebrate, let’s go over those titles and give HAL its dues.
Kirby
Easily the most iconic of HAL’s works, the lovable pink puffball was a creation of Sakurai’s during his early days at the studio (he was only 19 at the time!).
Ever since the original Kirby’s Dream Land for the Game Boy in 1992, HAL has developed or co-developed each one of Kirby’s various adventures, with the most recent ones being Super Kirby Clash and Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn.
Kirby may not be on the same level as Mario and Link, but he has continued to be a popular Nintendo icon for all this time and, as long as HAL is around, will probably never stop. He may even go racing again.
Earthbound
This series of Japanese role-playing games is unfortunately nowhere near as recognisable as Kirby. At this point, they’re borderline obscure, with most people probably only knowing what it is thanks to two of its characters regularly appearing in Smash Bros.
Still, it’s got it a bit better nowadays, thanks to Nintendo re-releasing the first two games on the Wii U eShop.
HAL didn’t work on the original game, EarthBound Beginnings, but the second game, co-devleoped with Ape, is an enjoyably unique experience with some great music, visuals and writing. Ironically, our least favourite bit was the combat.
It may be something of a meme at this point but fans have been desperate for Nintendo to release the third game (originally made for the Game Boy Advance) in the West ever since it came out in Japan back in 2006.
Those that have managed to actually play it via a fan translation have heaped a ton of praise on it, particularly for its heart wrenching ending.
Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Stadium
While Game Freak were hard at work on Pokémon Gold and Silver in the late 90s, HAL were the ones to bring us two of the series’ most beloved Nintendo 64 titles: Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Stadium.
Snap, rather than revolve around catching pokémon to train and battle them, saw players tasked with taking pictures of various pokémon in their natural habitats.
It was the first game to feature pokémon rendered in full 3D and continues to be regarded as one of the franchise’s best spin-offs. Some believed a sequel would be perfect for the Wii U because of the console’s GamePad functionality but the closest we got was a simple re-release.
For those that preferred something more traditional, Pokémon Stadium took the game’s battles into the third dimension and allowed players to transfer any of the 151 available pokémon from their copies of Red, Blue, and Yellow into Stadium with the Transfer Pak.
With your own team, you could take on all manner of tournaments and challenges to further prove your status as a pokémon master, as well as play some neat mini-games with friends.
This one got a sequel after Gold and Silver released, that was bursting with even more content. The same style of battles were later adapted for the 3D Pokémon games, including the most recent Sword and Shield.
Super Smash Bros.
The Super Smash Bros. series is a juggernaut at this point, but it had very humble beginnings under HAL’s development.
The first game, released for the N64, boasted only 12 characters. But that was enough to draw players in, since it was the first time the likes of Mario, Link and Pikachu had all shared the screen together.
That simple title eventually led to Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube and the hype for it was as strong then as it is now.
To this day, Melee is still the preferred title amongst professional players due to its speedy gameplay and unique techniques.
HAL did contribute to the development of the third title, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, for the Wii, but since then, Smash has very much been a product of Sakurai’s own studio, Sora Ltd., as well as Bandai Namco.
Still, while HAL may not always make the biggest triple-A titles, its 40 years of history is not to be sneezed.
And even if it’s just another Kirby game, we should all be hopeful of seeing more games from them in the future.
In total, Weinstein faced five charges of rape and sexual assault – one count of rape in the first degree, one count of rape in the third degree, one count of a criminal sexual act in the first degree, and two counts of predatory sexual assault – to which he pleaded not guilty.
He was found not guilty of the most serious charges in the case which were two counts of predatory sexual assault.
According to NBC, sentencing is scheduled for 11 March.
What is third degree rape?
Third degree rape refers to when a person engages in sexual intercourse with another person who is incapable of consent.
By contrast, first degree rape involves forcible compulsion and carries a life prison sentence, while second degree rape refers to when someone is unable to consent due to being mentally disabled or mentally incapitated.
The full, definition, according to New York Penal Code via FindLaw is below:
A person is guilty of rape in the third degree when he or she engages in sexual intercourse with another person:
Who is incapable of consent by reason of some factor other than being less than 17 years old;
Who is less than 17 years old, and the defendant is 21 years old or more; or
Without such person’s consent, which is withheld for some other reason than incapacity to consent.
Maybe that was the push Simon needed to take a lil break from the show and its spin-offs and former winner Louisa Johnson is all for it.
Asked whether she’s on board with a 12-month X Factor break, Louisa exclusively told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think so, you know, get some fresh ideas. I think that will be really good.’
And confident that Simon will figure out how to get the show back to its best, she teased: ‘There’s always ways to make things different.’
She revealed the pearls of wisdom she would pass on to those hoping to audition for The X Factor when it returns in 2021 and stressed that nothing is as important as ‘being yourself’.
‘Be yourself. It’s really hard, you can get quite wrapped up in things, especially when there’s so many people with so many opinions,’ she offered.
‘But as long as you’re staying true to yourself and doing what makes you happy, then I think you can’t really go wrong. The only person that you really need to make happy is yourself at the end of the day.’
Louisa was just 17 when she was on The X Factor and she admits she’s learned a thing or two about herself while trying to crack the music biz.
‘You go through things and you experience things that make you a different person. I was a kid on the show and I was a kid even a year of two years ago,’ she said.
‘The last year and a half has been really eye-opening for me because I’ve just grown up.’
And she warns fans it’s going to be a little different to what they’re used to.
Louisa – who is showcasing her material while putting on her own headline show at 100 Wardour Street – said: ‘It’s very different to the music I’ve released in the past.
‘It’s a lot more heartfelt and real and personal, even relatable, because it’s my actual feelings.’
Louisa performs at 100 Wardour Street on Wednesday 26 February, for more info visit here.

A women’s prison inmate claims there are ‘not enough’ drugs in prison.
One inmate at HMP Foston Hall says drugs aren’t as ‘rife’ as staff at the prison believe.
She appears in a Channel 4 documentary which goes inside Foston Hall where more than 300 women are incarcerated for everything from non-payment of fines to murder.
She explains that she uses drugs to help her deal with underlying issues she has pushed to one side.
‘I can go from being nought to 100 to nought again. I suppose it’s cause I’ve not dealt with my s**t innit? Because I’ve not dealt with my s**t I get angry and then anger causes problems,’ the inmate says.
‘I’ll go out to do a shoplifting. Normal people get three months for shoplifting, I get two years because I get angry and I end up doing the security guard in. So yeah it is a big problem.
‘I was dealing with my s**t my own way. It might not have been the right way…drugs.’
She feels that the new prisoner-led therapy sessions have opened up old emotional wounds.
‘I had it all in a box, pushed down, do you know what I mean? And it’s like they’ve just opened it like a Jack-in-a-box,’ the prisoner continues.
Asked if she can obtain drugs in Foston Hall, she replies: ‘In here? No, this jail is s**t for drugs.
‘You can [get hold of drugs] but it’s not as rife as what security like to think it is.
‘Security like to think it is, “Oh Foston Hall’s got a big drug problem”. No, the only drug problem this jail’s got is you can’t get enough of them.’
The series previously looked at life inside HMP Durham.
One of Foston Hall’s most well known inmates was Karen Matthews, who was convicted for her involvement in the kidnapping of her daughter Shannon in 2008.
Prison airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

Jacqueline Jossa looked every inch the queen she is, as she showed off her poolside glow up while shooting for her new clothing line.
The mum-of-two ditched the UK for sunnier climes and has been living it up in the most incredible villa and, of course, much warmer temperatures for her work trip overseas.
She started things off by showing off the villa where the shoot will be shot on location and then revealed: ‘We are shooting my first ever collection.’
Jacqueline looked just lovely as she graced the camera fresh from her sunbathing sesh, with her hair pulled back, no make-up on and sporting her green halter-neck bikini.
And, obviously, she had a whole team on hand to get her shoot ready and we’re living for her glow up.
Natural beauty Jacqueline took total siren to a whole new level in a shot she shared to Instagram, after having her make-up and hair styled.
Those curls. Those lashes. Love, love, love.
Jacqueline then took to her story to give fans a sneak peek at some of the designs from her line and she couldn’t look more excited for the collection to drop in the snaps of her showing off her hard work.
We’re talking cute summer dresses and co-ord pieces that have you dreaming of beach side cocktails just from looking at them.
Jacqueline won I’m A Celebrity’s 2019 series, beating the likes of Corrie star Andy Whyment and Roman Kemp to the jungle crown.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, she said: ‘The thing is, it’s really funny because we’ve been going through it for two years, this isn’t new for me.’
‘It’s been two years of me giving him hell…he knows he’s done a lot wrong,’ she said, later adding that plans to hit the ‘restart button’ with Dan and move forward with their family.
