Tom Holland has been confirmed as the latest Spider-Man.
The 19-year-old British actor from Kingston, who has appeared in The Impossible and Wolf Hall, will make his debut as the webslinger in Captain America: Civil War.
Holland will also lead Marvel and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man reboot, which is due out on July 28, 2017.
The announcement comes as creator, Stan Lee said he thought the character should stay white and straight.
