In case you were wondering if Jeremy Clarkson’s new Amazon show might not have the budget to please, well, don’t.
The new show has been given the ridiculously huge sum of £160million to spend on 36 episodes over three years, equaling just under £4.5million per episode.
It makes the show one of the most expensive programmes ever, but producer Andy Wilman has revealed that Jeremy, James May, and Richard Hammond weren’t going to settle for anything less – their main demands when choosing a new channel were complete editorial freedom, no car adverts, and plenty of money.
