Hollyoaks boss Brian Kirkwood has opened up about the conclusion to the child abuse storyline centering around sinister Pete Buchanan, saying that the ending for the plot is planned and insisting that it will end in the correct way.
Viewers have been left uncomfortable as they watch Pete, who abused Porsche when she was just 15, make moves on Cleo. He first started grooming Cleo when she was underage.
In scenes which will air in coming weeks, the controlling predator will persuade a reluctant Cleo to sleep with him after cunningly engineering some time alone with her.
