Environmentalist George Monbiot addressed the truth about meat production by skinning, butchering and cooking a squirrel on live TV.

The piece on Newnight was inspired by an article he’d written after he found a squirrel ‘dead but still warm’ by the roadside and took it home to eat, as a comment on our ‘increasingly confused realities with meat production.’
