Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Julian Clary thinks it is about time the BBC dancing show had a same-sex couple.
Julian, who placed third on the show in 2004, admitted he thought it ‘would be fun’ to watch a same-sex couple competing for the Glitterball trophy.
Professional ballroom dancing guidelines ban same-sex couples making the subject a hot debate for the BBC although rumours have persisted that this year’s show will feature a couple of the same sex.
