Dakota Johnson has revealed that House of Cards director James Foley has been hired for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel.
Foley has been brought in to replace Sam Taylor-Johnson, who left after making the first film over creative differences with author EL James even though it was a box office hit.
She told Empire: ‘Now I’m excited. I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?’
Johnson, who will reprise her role as Anastasia Steele opposite Jamie Dornan as S&M-loving billionaire Christian Grey in the follow up, said she was scared when Taylor-Johnson quit.
