After the success of The Dark Knight trilogy, it’s not hard to imagine why Warner Bros might want Christopher Nolan on board with their live-action Akira movie.
And according to Den of Geek, the studio want to make three films based on Katsuhiro Otomo’s classic manga and anime.
The original 1988 film was animated and centred on two teenage bikers in Neo-Tokyo who, after a secret military project causes another biker to go mad with psychic powers, must stop him from causing more destruction.
