Mark Salling’s death certificate has confirmed that his cause of death was asphyxia by hanging.
The certificate was released by the the Coroner’s Office, filed in L.A. County, and it also reveals that the body was found in a riverbed, as previously reported.
Salling, 35, was found not far from his house in Sunland, Los Angeles, after ‘police were called to perform a “welfare check” on Salling’.
The former Glee star had been missing for several hours and it was only when police on another call out saw his abandoned car that the body was discovered.
