Kendall Jenner has remained silent after Jordyn Woods was accused of sleeping with her sister Khloe’s baby daddy.

But while the Kar-Jenner clan figure out how to handle the situation, it seems the 23-year-old is keen to put the drama to the back of her mind.

And that’s exactly what she did when hanging out with her pals in Los Angeles.

The reality star could be seen chomping down on her lunch as she allowed herself to indulge on Tuesday afternoon.

While sat outside, Kendall had wrapped up in a cream jumper as she clung onto a coffee cup – enjoying a much deserved break following the events of the past week.

Her famous family have made headlines last week after their close friend Jordyn was accused of hooking up with Koko’s beau Tristan Thompson.

Khloe initially accused Jordyn of ‘lying’ and ‘breaking up my family’ after the model gave an interview detailing what happened between her Tristan.

Now the reality TV star has placed the blame solely at her ex’s feet.

She tweeted: ‘This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have.

‘Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.

‘What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault.

‘I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.’

In an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk, Jordyn denied cheating with Tristan and insisted that they didn’t sleep together.

She said: ‘There has been no relationship over time. There’s been no relationship, no communication, no plans on meeting up, no conversation. Nothing.

‘I see what has been done to my life in only a week. The media put their focus on a young black woman that made a mistake and not one that’s worth public crucifixion.’

However, she did admit that Tristan kissed her ‘on the lips’ after a party at his house and she chose not to tell anyone so she didn’t ‘throw fuel on the fire’.

Battle begins between Marvel and DC as fans debate whether Thanos is better than Bane

The ultimate battle (Picture: Marvel; Warner Bros.)

Fans haven’t slept as they waged a debate over who was the better villain: Thanos or Bane.

I mean, we aren’t meant to add our opinion into these sorts of things … but clearly by the response online Thanos is 100% the better villain.

Who would even think Bane had the might of the Mad Titan?

Oh, wait, our opinion is creeping in – back in the box it goes.

Anyway, on Tuesday night Atlantic staff writer Jemele Hill posed the question: ‘Thanos or Bane? Let’s argue.’

Tony Stark may be more of a fan of Bane (Picture: Marvel)

And argue they did, as the merits and downsides of the DC and Marvel super villains were dissected online to a fault on Twitter in response to her message.

Basically, a Thanos snap hath no fury than a debate between Marvel and DC fans.

There is no question both guys are bad to the bone and really not very nice. In both the comics and Avengers: Infinity War Thanos did bad things and in the end he Snapped half the population away from existence.

Bane has his moments (Picture: DC)

That earned him some points there.

When it comes to Bane, he, too, is pretty formidable in the world of Batman, showing himself as one of the caped crusader’s most feared foes.

As punters took to Twitter to share their very, very passionate thoughts, they needed some clarification: are we talking movie versions or comics?

Without needing a prompt, though, many launched into their own feels about it all and it seems that while you might think they were divided, Thanos seemed to come out on top down to his dastardly deeds.

One Thanos fan simply said: ‘Thanos. Easy.’

But it wasn’t that easy. It wasn’t. Well, it kinda was.

Thanos definitely had his fan base out in force and it was more populated than the current Avengers world (sorry, too soon?).

‘If it’s Bane from Dark Knight Rises, Thanos wins in a landslide,’ another began. ‘If this is juiced up, big hulking Arkham Asylum/comics Bane…….Thanos wins in a landslide.’

ESPN’s Elle Duncan felt Bane’s voice really let him down.

‘Banes voice was too comical for me.. like I snickered every time he spoke,’ she mused as we all nodded along. ‘Thanos wins based on that alone.’

Even Bane’s death at the hands of an accidental Catwoman move got lols out of people as they suggested Thanos would never die in such a way.

Well, that’s TBC, but now we’re kind of feeling for Bane.

‘Okay. Thanos defeated the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy,’ another on the death wagon said. ‘Bane was essentially Talia’s henchman who got taken out by Catwoman pressing the wrong button on the Batpod.’

Basketball theories were brought into the debate, which helps no one. Unless you’re Thanos.

‘Thanos literally made half of the entire universe disappear and kicked every single Avenger’s ass. Bane couldn’t even take over a single city, protected by one rich dude, who isn’t even a superhero and has no powers,’ they said. ‘That’s like saying “LeBron or Austin Rivers? Let’s argue.”’

Not to be totally out in the cold, though, Bane had his legion of followers argue the backstory of the masked hench-man was way more interesting than any snappy Thanos.

‘This isn’t even a contest,’ one standalone dude wrote, bravely. ‘Bane broke Batman without a bunch of all powerful infiniti stones. His motive is he just wants to burn everything down because society is too corrupt.

‘That’s more interesting than some arbitrary bullshit about getting rid of half of everyone.’

But then again, as one pointed out, they’re both duds who need to get in the bin.

‘Thanos is a Malthusian galactic despot and Bane exploits anticapitalist sentiments but is really just an autocratic strongman,’ a rather displeased punter proffered. ‘Can’t with either of them…’

You right, mate?

Honestly, though, we just wish we could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy again.

Michael Jackson was told by nephew to consider how sleeping with kids looked to outside world

Michael Jackson was told by his nephew to consider how him sleeping with children looked to the outside world.

The music legend, who died aged 50 in 2009, is accused of sexual abuse by Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck, 41, who both allege they were abused as children in the documentary Leaving Neverland.

The Jackson estate has denied all of the allegations against the star, with one of the main defences for Jackson sharing a bed with young boys being his childlike demeanour.

However, appearing on Victoria Derbyshire today, Michael’s nephew Taj Jackson admitted he told his uncle that these actions may look inappropriate to the outside world.

Taj, the son of Tito Jackson, claimed that Wade Robson was ‘100% lying’, but said that he couldn’t comment on Safechuck’s allegations as he didn’t know him personally.

He said: ‘For me, that would never happen. He could be telling the truth because I don’t know him, but at the same time, in my heart of hearts, knowing my uncle for as long as I’ve known him, and other people that know him, Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Ross, Marlon Brando, Macaulay Culkin, Corey Feldman, all of them say the same thing – he was a child at heart.’

Victoria responded: ‘He wasn’t – he was an adult man in his 30s and 40s… sleeping in a bed with young boys. Your family must have talked about it, what was the nature of those conversations?’

Taj, who performed with the band 3T, said: ‘I definitely approached him at one point, I don’t live in a bubble like he did. It was around 2005 during the trial, I said “you know how this looks to the outside world”. Because noone else would tell him, he had a lot of yes people. To him, he was like “they don’t understand. I would never harm a kid.”‘

FILE - In this Jan. 24, 2019, file photo, Wade Robson, from left, director Dan Reed and James Safechuck pose for a portrait to promote the film "Leaving Neverland" at the Salesforce Music Lodge during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The Michael Jackson estate has sent a letter to the U.K.???s Channel 4 warning that the documentary on Robson and Safechuck, who accuse the singer of molesting them as boys violates the network's programming guidelines. Estate attorneys say in the letter released to The Associated Press on Monday, Feb. 11, that "Leaving Neverland," includes no response from Jackson defenders as the channel's guidelines require. Derbyshire said: ‘With respect, that is what abusers say’, with Taj replying: ‘Of course, but that’s why character and credibility matter. You have to look into that as well. Knowing my uncle, I don’t want to say it, but when you are abused, you do have a sense of other people that could be possibly abused.’

Taj added: ‘I know my uncle. I’ve known him my whole entire life and if I thought that, as an abuse victim myself, I’d be the first one to turn him in or say that’s wrong, and I would go to the police. My uncle is not here to defend himself. It’s the hardest thing to do because you don’t want to attack a victim, but my uncle’s not here to defend himself.’

Jackson’s nephew also spoke about how the allegations were affecting Michael’s three children, Prince, 22, Paris, 20, and Blanket, or Biji, 17.

Taj said: ‘It’s beyond devastating. For me, I am very protective of them, like my uncle was for us, and seeing what they’re going through it really upsets me. They all handle it different. Biji isn’t talking now, he’s sensitive like his dad was.’

Wade and James put forward their allegations against Jackson in graphic detail in Leaving Neverland, which is expected to draw protests at Channel 4 from fans of the late musician.

The estate of Michael Jackson has denied the allegations, and are suing HBO – who co-produced the documentary with Channel 4 – for $100 million.

Leaving Neverland part one airs on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.

Michael Jackson estate's statement on Leaving Neverland

'Leaving Neverland isn’t a documentary, it is the kind of tabloid character assassination Michael Jackson endured in life, and now in death. The film takes uncorroborated allegations that supposedly happened 20 years ago and treats them as fact. These claims were the basis of lawsuits filed by these two admitted liars which were ultimately dismissed by a judge. The two accusers testified under oath that these events never occurred. They have provided no independent evidence and absolutely no proof in support of their accusations, which means the entire film hinges solely on the word of two perjurers.

'Tellingly, the director admitted at the Sundance Film Festival that he limited his interviews only to these accusers and their families. In doing so, he intentionally avoided interviewing numerous people over the years who spent significant time with Michael Jackson and have unambiguously stated that he treated children with respect and did nothing hurtful to them. By choosing not to include any of these independent voices who might challenge the narrative that he was determined to sell, the director neglected fact checking so he could craft a narrative so blatantly one-sided that viewers never get anything close to a balanced portrait.

'For 20 years, Wade Robson denied in court and in numerous interviews, including after Michael passed, that he was a victim and stated he was grateful for everything Michael had done for him. His family benefitted from Michael’s kindness, generosity and career support up until Michael’s death. Conveniently left out of Leaving Neverland was the fact that when Robson was denied a role in a Michael Jackson themed Cirque du Soleil production, his assault allegations suddenly emerged.

'We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse. This film, however, does those victims a disservice.  Because despite all the disingenuous denials made that this is not about money, it has always been about money – millions of dollars — dating back to 2013 when both Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who share the same law firm, launched their unsuccessful claims against Michael’s Estate. Now that Michael is no longer here to defend himself, Robson, Safechuck and their lawyers continue their efforts to achieve notoriety and a payday by smearing him with the same allegations a jury found him innocent of when he was alive.'

Rose McGowan has spoken out on the Michael Jackson child sex abuse allegations and states that she wholeheartedly believes the accusers.

The former Charmed actress is a prominent figure of the #MeToo movement and is confident that Wade Robson and James Safechuck, the two men accusing Jackson of child molestation in the harrowing documentary Leaving Neverland, wouldn’t come forward with such serious allegations if they were being untruthful.

Speaking to Nihal Arthanayake on BBC 5 Live Headliners, Rose said: ‘Why on Earth would anybody want to come out and expose themselves to so much hate if they weren’t trying to regain some control in their own life? Control that has been robbed and stolen?’

Addressing Jackson’s fans and supporters, Rose continued: ‘I’m sorry your hero was a bad man, I’m really sorry your hero was bad.

‘It doesn’t mean you can’t listen to or enjoy his music. You just have to understand that people are really complex, and this person had a particular complexity that hurt lots of others.’

The 45-year-old actress went on to address whether it’s possible to separate the allegations against Jackson from his iconic music, to which she admitted it’s not a ‘black and white’ area despite her support for his accusers.

Rose explained: ‘But for their past works, it is what it is. I don’t want to strip Michael Jackson lovers away from his music.’

‘I will say you can look at people and they can have had done something bad. It’s like having a family member, that you’re like, “I love them, but they did a really bad thing” and we have to wrestle with that and have a conversation about that. It’s a nuanced conversation. It’s not black and white.’

Leaving Neverland sees Robson and Safechuck recount what they claim to be sexually abusive behaviour from Jackson, who died in 2009 and always denied the multiple child molestation claims.

Leaving Neverland: Michael And Me airs on Channel 4 tonight and tomorrow at 9pm.

Leaving Neverland: Michael Jackson and Me is finally set to come to UK screens after its airing in the US left viewers shocked and traumatised.

Directed by Dan Reed, the harrowing two-part documentary will follow first-person accounts from two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who claim they were abused by the pop superstar when they were children.

The film has attracted a lot of controversy from fans as well as from his family, with the Jackson Estate calling it ‘a tabloid character assassination.

Here’s where you can watch it in this country.

When is Leaving Neverland on TV in the UK?

The first part of the two-part documentary will air on Channel 4 on Wednesday night at 9pm.

The second part is on Thursday night on Channel 4 at the same time.

The documentary, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, was shown on HBO over the weekend in two parts.

It was followed by a special programme in which Oprah Winfrey interviewed Wade Robson and James Safechuck, Jackson’s alleged victims.

Why is the documentary causing controversy?

As well as the graphic content of the documentary, makers HBO are the subject of a lawsuit for $100m filed by the Michael Jackson estate against the film.

The reason for the lawsuit is for violating a non-disparagement clause from a contract issued to the network back in 1992.

It is claimed there was a clause in the contract that stopped HBO from disparaging the singer in any of its future works – part of an agreement which allowed them to show Jackson’s performance of The Dangerous Tour in Bucharest.

The singer’s estate also plans to hit back by making Live in Bucharest available on Jackson’s YouTube channel.

Fans of Jackson have also voiced objection to the documentary, with some planning to protest at Westminster against its airing, with Channel 4 stating it was amping up security ahead of it being shown.

There have also been reports that BBC Radio 2 has stopped playing Jackson’s music ahead of the documentary’s airing.

Orlando Bloom and best mate Mighty grab lunch together as actor shows off unconventional carrying method

Orlando Bloom this week showed off his unconventional way of carrying his adorable dog Mighty around – by shoving him into a bag.

Sounds a little off and, yeah, to be honest, it didn’t look like the best way to carry your beloved dog but we’ll give Orlando the benefit of the doubt this time around.

The little one accompanied Orly to a lunch in Brentwood on Wednesday, and as the actor toted around the puppy in the bag it looked kind of cute.

With his little head poking out, the pupper appeared totally fine with his mode of transport as the 42-year-old headed into the Country Mart.

Despite Orlando’s rudimentary grip on the black backpack, Mighty is often seen by Orlando’s side and is one pampered international pooch – be in London or LA.

Still, only moments before coming up for air, and hopefully a succulent sausage, the actual living animal had been shoved into the bag and put on Orlando’s back as he rode his motorcycle to the restaurant.

Is that…is that safe?

Hmm we have some thoughts about this, Orlando (Picture: BACKGRID)

We don’t know what the bag is made out of – perhaps it’s a purpose built dog-carrier for this very purpose. But the little thing looks a little cramped in there, as Orlando donned a helmet and goggled for the ride.

So, naturally, we have some questions.

Like, for starters, can the little dude actually breathe in there? Is he comfortable?

The actor was said to only be jaunting a few streets over so perhaps they weren’t on the vehicle for long. But in the past we’ve seen Mighty hanging out in a much-more comfortable-looking leather satchel, so why shove him into this workout bag?

Maybe Orlando left the luxe offering in London?

Mighty is almost always by Orlando’s side, with the Lord Of The Rings star taking the dog to the beach, on city breaks with fiance Katy Perry, and even to the theatre when he starred in Killer Joe.

He’s often confused with his Katy’s pet Nugget, too. Which is a dog. Not a nugget. We can see how that sentence may be confusing.

Nugget the teacup poodle has become a star in her own right, even starring in an ad alongside Katy for Citi bank.

We can only hope Nugget and Mighty are the best of friends and go on tandem bike rides together. No bags needed.

The Umbrella Academy’s David Castañeda explains why Number Two is different to the comics

The Umbrella Academy’s David Castañeda explains why Number Two is different to comics (Picture: Netflix)

The Umbrella Academy’s David Castañeda has explained why his character Number Two is different onscreen than the comics.

More than a decade ago, My Chemical Romance’s frontman Gerard Way carefully crafted his very own comic book – which he’s since turned into the hit Netflix series.

But while fans enjoy the first season, it seems some are still wondering why directors decided to change up one of the characters.

In the comics, Number Two goes by the name of The Kraken, and was given the ability to hold his breath under water.

However, when appearing in the series, it seems his super power has been taken away from him and replaced with the ability to throw things with extreme precision.

His power to breath underwater isn’t shown in the series (Picture: Netflix)

Now, Number Two star Castañeda has spoken to Digital Spy in order to clear up the reason why showrunner Steve Blackman decided to change the character.

The 29-year-old said: ‘[He] wanted to ground the comic book even more. So for example, Klaus doesn’t levitate in the show, whereas in the comic book he does.’

‘And there’s something about seeing someone who has actually no real supernatural powers and only being able to throw things with precision that kind of makes people be like, “Oh, I can see that, I can put that person in real life and I can see it play out as a human being.”‘

He added: ‘You have Luther who has super strength, and you have Allison who can change the reality… and the fact that he can’t even be the one on top in the show, the resentment towards the father plays out even more because he is obviously placed at number two because he doesn’t have the powers one would say are divine.’

The show has been renewed for a second season (Picture: Netflix)

Just last week it was revealed that following the success of season one, the Netflix hit had been renewed for a second series.

According to the GWW, production is expected to start in Toronto later this year.

Blackman recently opened up about his vision for The Umbrella Academy, and told Collider that he could see many more seasons being made.

The director said: ‘I know Gerard has eight volumes in his mind so whether that translates to eight seasons, I don’t know.

‘We combine certain seasons, and bits and pieces. It would be lovely to have four or five years of this show. That would be wonderful.’

The Umbrella Academy is available to watch on Netflix now.

Michael Jackson’s music has been dropped by a number of radio stations around the world following the controversial documentary Leaving Neverland.

The four-hour film, which is set to air its first half on Channel 4 on Wednesday, details the historic child molestation allegations against the singer and includes interviews from James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who both accuse him of abusing them as children.

The two-parter first premiered at Sundance and has been described as ‘frightening’ and ‘disturbing to watch’ by some viewers and has lead to stations in both New Zealand and Canada to remove the King of Pop’s hits from their playlists – as well as the BBC Radio 2.

New Zealand have almost entirely removed Michael’s work from playlists, with one of its largest commercial networks MediaWorks leading the pack.

Company director Leon Wratt told CNN in a statement: ‘Michael Jackson isn’t currently on any MediaWorks Radio stations’ playlists,’

‘This is a reflection of our audiences and their preferences – it is our job to ensure our radio stations are playing the music people want to hear.’

Mediaworks refused to comment on when Michael’s music might return to airwaves, adding they ‘will be guided by their audience.’

Broadcasting rival NZ’ME followed suit, with entertainment director Dean Buchanan telling the New Zealand Herald: ‘NZME station playlists change from week to week and right now Michael Jackson does not feature on them.’

Michael Jackson’s estate are suing HBO for the Leaving Neverland documentary for £100million, saying it ‘shamelessly exploits an innocent man no longer here to defend himself’.

R Kelly breaks silence on sexual abuse allegations in shocking interview: ‘All the women are lying on me’

R Kelly has broken his silence on the sexual abuse allegations against him for the first time in an interview with CBS News’ Gayle King.

During the 80-minute emotionally-charged interview, the I Believe I Can Fly singer claimed the women accusing him of sexual abuse are ‘lying’ about the alleged abuse.

Speaking to King, R Kelly said: ‘I’m very tired of all the lies, I’ve been hearing and seeing things on the blogs.

‘All of them [are lying]. That little girls trapped in the basement, helicopters over my house, handcuffing, starving people, I have a harem or cult. I don’t really know what a cult is but I know I don’t have one.

R Kelly addressed the allegations for the first time with Gayle King (Picture: CBS News)

‘If you look at that documentary, everybody said something bad about me. They was describing Lucifer, I’m a man and make mistakes but I’m not the devil or a monster.

‘They are lying on me.’

When asked if he has wronged any women, the 52-year-old replied: ‘Lots of things wrong when it comes to women that I apologise. But I apologised for when I was in those relationships.

‘I have been assassinated, buried alive. But I’m alive.’

R Kelly lost his temper after growing emotional during the 80-minute interview (Picture: CBS News)

R Kelly then grew incredibly emotional, jumped up from his seat and shouted that he was innocent.

After calming down somewhat, the R&B singer said: ‘I need help. I need somebody to help me not have a big heart because my heart is so big. They keep betraying me.

‘I apologise for being emotional because this was the first time I was able to say something.’

Later in the interview, R Kelly said he would ‘arrest himself’ if his daughter was the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of an older man as he’d be inclined to ‘fuck everything up’.

He also became emotional when talking about his relationship with his three children, saying: ‘I’m fighting to have a relationship with my kids because I’ve missed a lot of years with their life.’

King also mentioned R Kelly’s own personal trauma, noting how he was sexually abused between the ages of seven and 14.

When asked if he’s been affected by the abuse, the musician said: ‘It hasn’t affected me at all. It affected me in this way, anything that I’ve been through, any struggles I’ve had i the past have affected my music.’

He replied ‘absolutely not’ when King wondered if the abuse has ‘affected his taste in women’.

R Kelly was arrested in Chicago last month and charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against four women, some of whom were aged under 17 at the time the alleged incidents took place.

A judge granted the singer a $1 million (£761,000) bond and he was released three days later after posting $100,000 (£76,000).

Inside Neverland, where Michael Jackson is accused of committing child sexual abuse

LOS OLIVAS, SANTA YNEZ, CA - NOVEMBER 18: Michael Jackson ranch, he named the property after Neverland, the fantasy island in the story of Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up. Michael's first encounter with the ranch came when he visited Paul McCartney, who was staying there during their filming of the "Say Say Say" video. Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch was named after the fantasy island in Peter Pan, with the fairground, railroads, petting zoo and basketball courts on the premises making it a child’s dream.

However, it is alleged that the fantastical estate was the site of child sexual abuse.

The documentary Leaving Neverland, set to air on 6 and 7 March on Channel 4, puts forward allegations made by Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege that when they were young boys, they were sexually abused by Michael Jackson.

Wade, now 36, alleges that he was abused from when he was seven until he was 14, while James, now 41, claims he was abused between the ages of 10 and 14. Jackson’s estate has denied all allegations of abuse, calling the allegations ‘character assassination’.

In the documentary, which disturbed many when it was screened at Sundance and aired on HBO, the men allege that Jackson used the childlike fantasy and vast space of Neverland to abuse them.

Safechuck alleges that Jackson molested him in a number of rooms around the estate, including in the pool and jacuzzi, in a hidden bedroom above the arcade, in a guest house which held memorabilia, and in a room above Michael’s private cinema.

In Leaving Neverland, Safechuck says: ‘There was a castle in the theme park, and upstairs there was a bedroom. You could see if somebody was coming. It had just a small bed. Up there, we would have sex.

‘He had an Indian fort with teepees, so we would lay down sleeping bags, have snacks and then have sexual relations there . . . There’s a third floor attic. It was kind of secluded. You could only get to it from these steep stairs. You could tell if somebody was coming. So we would go in there and have sex.’

Robson added that while his family were at Neverland, his mother would be put up in the guest quarters, which were in a separate building to Michael’s bedroom, where he would sleep with Wade and his sister Chantal (Chantal has denied being abused or knowing of the alleged abuse that was occurring).

According to Safechuck, the layout of Neverland helped Jackson keep the alleged abuse a secret.

He claimed: ‘The routine was we would get a blanket and lay it down on the floor inside of the closet next to his main bed, so we could close the doors and have several doors that people had to get through.

‘There were bells, so you would have a moment of hearing them chirp, and at least it alarmed him to when people were coming.’

Jackson bought Neverland in 1987 for a reported $19.5 million (£14.8m), with the popstar kitting it out with an amusement park and the famous clock made from flowers and bushes.

However, after the Billie Jean singer’s death in 2009, the estate fell into disrespair, with the amusement park being removed. Jackson’s daughter Paris restored the garden and intended on it to be used as a place for sick children.

Neverland is now co-owned by the singer’s estate and fund management company Colony Capital, and has been on sale since 2015.

Last month, the asking price of Neverland – renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch – was reduced to $31 million (£23.5m), $69 (£52.5m) million less than the original asking price of $100 million (£76m).

Leaving Neverland part one airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.

Peter Andre refuses to ban Michael Jackson’s music over child molestation allegations

Peter Andre isn’t a fan of the movement to ban Michael Jackson’s music over the child sex abuse allegations against the late popstar.

Jackson, who died in June 2009, is accused of sexually assaulting dance choreographer Wade Robson and child actor James Safechuck when they were children.

The two men appear in the new Channel 4 documentary Leaving Neverland, recounting their alleged ordeal.

Writing in this week’s New! magazine column, Peter shares his views on the controversy for the first time.

Referring to Leaving Neverland, the Mysterious Girl singer writes: ‘There’s a new Michael Jackson documentary on this week and it has caused a lot of controversy about sexual abuse.

‘First and foremost what I will say is we have to rely on the justice system and we mustn’t forget that he was acquitted of not just one, but all child molestation charges during his trial in 2005.’

Leaving Neverland viewers in the US were ‘traumatised’ by the graphic details of the alleged sex abuse detailed in the documentary, and many have vowed to stop listening to Jackson’s music, joining the #MuteMichaelJackson movement.

However, Peter doesn’t agree with the music ban if Jackson has not been found guilty of the crimes.

The British popstar said: ‘You can’t just stop listening to an artist’s music due to accusations alone. And let’s not forget some of his songs weren’t even written by him.’

Peter, 46, added that it would be ‘absolutely terrible’ if Jackson was found guilty and sympathised with his family as the Thriller singer is no longer here to defend himself.

Actress Rose McGowan has also spoken out on the allegations to defend Robson and Safechuck, and believes the decision to ban MJ’s music isn’t ‘black and white’.

Leaving Neverland airs on Channel 4 tonight and tomorrow at 9pm.

‘I’ve really noticed a change in my physical ability since I started and as the weight’s dropped off and my flexibility had improved, it’s much easier to move around.

He added: ‘Physically and mentally I feel better than I ever have. There’s no going back to my old ways snacking on crisps and hopefully I’ll see more weight fall off.’

And it appears to have done just that, as the reality star has managed to go from 21st 3lb to 18st 8lb, and has even lost four inches from around his waist.

Ant and Dec admit they scrapped idea for a ‘Hide The Sikh’ TV show in unearthed interview: ‘It was like hide and seek’

Ant and Dec admit they once planned a ‘Hide The Sikh’ show which thankfully never made it to air (Alan Davidson/REX/Shutters)

An unearthed interview with Ant and Dec has resurfaced online which reveals the boys had an abominable idea for a new show.

In an old chat with FHM in 2006, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were asked if they’d ever had a plan for a show they couldn’t get away with.

And they did. They really did.

The Britain’s Got Talent duo revealed they genuinely contemplated a show called ‘Hide The Sikh’.

‘It was like hide and seek but we had a Sikh guy who hid in the studio,’ they told publication in snippets which have been shared on Twitter.

Thankfully, the pitch never made it to air and instead Ant and Dec fronted Britain’s Got Talent and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – a wise move.

The magazine clip comes after the pair came under fire over their 2003 undercover sketches for Saturday Night Takeaway, where they wore blackface to disguise themselves as two Jamaican women, Patty and Bernice, and dupe some of their celebrity pals.

On the Saturday Night Takeaway DVD, Ant – now 43 – joked: ‘It was funny sitting in a room, learning Jamaican, picking dresses, trying on false nails, was something I didn’t think I’d ever, ever do.’

Dec – also now 43 – then spoke in a Jamaican accent, saying: ‘We had to find who Patty and Bernice were, so we’d have to go “Well, I think Bernice probably came to England on a boat’.”

Ant and Dec wore blackface to dupe celebrities on Saturday Night Takeaway (Picture: ITV)

But they’re not the only ones with a murky past on screen. Matt Lucas was attacked for his wince-worthy sketches with David Walliams on Little Britain and Come Fly With Me With Me this week, but stressed that he’s since ‘evolved’.

After he slammed Tottenham Hotspur for endorsing their fans’ use of the word ‘Yid’, a highly offensive slang for the Jewish community, one of Matt’s followers highlighted some of the actor’s own problematic characters from the noughties.

‘I hear you. I’ve reflected and evolved,’ he replied. ‘Waiting for THFC to do the same.’

Ant and Dec have remained silent over their old clips, but Matt held his hands up and previously admitted he would never revert back to his ‘cruel’ comedy now.

‘Society has moved on a lot since then and my own views have evolved,’ he told Big Issue. ‘There was no bad intent there – the only thing you could accuse us of was greed. We just wanted to show off about what a diverse bunch of people we could play.’

The Doctor Who star added that it was ‘lazy for white people to get a laugh just by playing black characters’.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Ant and Dec’s reps for comment.

Akshay Kumar has made sure the launch of his new TV series, The End, has gone with a bang – by literally setting himself on fire.

The Bollywood legend appeared on stage in Mumbai, opting for a snazzy-looking black suit for the Amazon Prime event – which just happened to be up in flames.

But the 51-year-old wasn’t too fussed about the daring trick, walking around the stage and even taking a second to shake someone’s hand.

All while being on fire.

He is one very, very brave man.

However, while we were all seriously dazzled – and a little terrified – by the whole stunt, Akshay’s wife, Twinkle Khanna, was a little less impressed.

Actually, that’s a huge understatement as she snapped and threatened to kill him if the fire didn’t.

Taking to Twitter, she fumed: ‘Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire!

‘Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe.’

‘Now that’s something I’d actually be afraid of,’ he replied.

Akshay was promoting his new show, which has a working title of The End.

Speaking about his latest project, the Dil To Pagal Hai star explained: ‘I have always believed in bringing innovation to my work and throughout my career, have tried to tell unique stories, work with break-through talent and be part of disruptive and high quality story-telling.

‘I can’t wait to start rolling for this action adventure series that will be Amazon Original for global audiences. The digital world excited me and I am delighted to make my streaming debut with this show.

‘And if I were to make a small confession here, it was my son Aarav who suggested that I make my digital debut as that’s what the youth are hooked onto. On this medium, I want to create something extraordinary and connect with them.’

Zac Efron’s ‘new girlfriend’ Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro as two take in UFC fight

Zac is reportedly dating Sarah Bro and a million hearts shatter across the world (Picture: Invision)

While everyone is quietly thisting over his take on Ted Bundy, turns out Zac Efron may have been secretly squirrelling away a girlfriend recently.

Hmm, perhaps that analogy doesn’t quite work.

Anyway, reports have surfaced suggesting the actor is getting chummy with Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro, after the two were seen taking in the hits and kicks of UFC fight 235 in Las Vegas last week.

Neither Zac nor the Danish athlete have referenced one another on social media (which is where all good things start), but they have been posting from the same places.

Sleuths? The Internet?

It sort of all started to kick off when punters noticed the two potential lovers headed to a hockey game in Los Angeles and posted to social media about said hockey game at the beginning of the month.

Instagram Photo

Zac posted a shot of himself wearing an LA Kings hat which wouldn’t be so crazy had Sarah not done the same.

He didn’t say too much more about it, but Sarah – who competed for Denmark in the 4×100 metre relay during the 2016 Olympics – posted from the locker rooms of the.very.same hockey game.

Wearing a custom jersey, she wrote on Instagram: ‘Thank you @lakings for making my first hockey game something very special.’

Instagram Photo

Or did Zac Efron make it special, eh, eh?

That same day, Zac posted a selfie from the game where he’s covering his eyes with his team hat.

Instagram Photo

Sure, a hockey game might not mean anything, however the 31-year-old actor then headed to the UFC 235 fight in Las Vegas on 2 March and was seen sitting next to Sarah.

Another fateful coinky-dink?

As TV cameras panned around to the actor, E! News claimed he ‘saluted’ to the camera as the swimmer was seen sitting next to him.

Witnesses who were keeping an eagle-eyed gaze on the pair told the website they arrived together and ‘looked like they were having a great time.’

Well that’s cute.

Apparently the two were ‘smiling and laughing in their seats’ before the show, as they added: ‘Zac was approached by multiple fans and Sarah was very patient as Zac spoke to everyone who approached him.’

They then left the arena afterwards together and we rest our case.

Zac has been laying low in the dating stakes as of late, having previously dated his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens for several years until they split in December 2010.

He was also linked to Baywatch co-star Alexandra Daddario.

That was before everyone got in a twist over the idea he was dating Selena Gomez after he followed her on Instagram.

Keeping in mind everyone follows Selena Gomez on Instagram…

Lana Condor has opened up on her relationship with food, revealing she has struggled with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia.

The To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star was a contemporary dancer and classically trained ballerina before she entered acting, so has always been in a high pressure environment when it comes to body image.

However, thankfully, Lana has recovered, and urged women to stop thinking there’s one ideal body shape.

Speaking as this month’s cover girl for Elle Canada, the 21-year-old said: ‘I know what it’s like to have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia—and also what it’s like to be a friend to someone who has that.

‘I think it’s time to give people comfort. You have to eat. You have to stop thinking that a certain body shape is ideal, because it’s not.’

The Netflix star added that she wants to celebrate her relationship with food, saying: ‘That’s why I literally post about every meal I eat.’

Lana told the magazine that she has noticed that many of her friends also feel pressured about their body and their looks, saying: ‘I look at my friends, and I’m like, “You’re fucking gorgeous”. But they feel like they’re fat and ugly.

‘I don’t know how this happened, that women feel like they need to apologize [for their physical imperfections].’

Lana, who was born in Vietnam but was raised in the US after being adopted by American parents, has starred in X-Men Apocalypse, Deadly Class and Alita: Battle Angel, but reached new levels of fame when she landed the role of Lara Jean Covey in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Both Lana and her on screen beau Noah Centineo will be returning for the sequel, where a new love triangle will be introduced as Lara Jean’s former crush John Ambrose comes back on the scene.

While Condor admits she’s scared for the fan reaction against Peter Kavinsky being challenged, she said: ‘There’s going to be a major new love interest.

‘The first one was with Josh and Peter, but in the second movie it’s going to be a major new character that’s going to challenge Peter quite a bit and fight over me, which is not a bad thing.’

R Kelly has accused the parents of the women he is alleged to have sexually abused, of ‘selling’ their daughters to him.

The 52-year-old singer has sat down with CBS News host Gayle King to address the serious allegations against him for the first time.

In the 80-minute interview, R Kelly described the women, including Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, as his ‘girlfriends’ and claimed that he began dating Clary when she was aged 21 and not 17.

R Kelly said: ‘They’re my girlfriends, we have a relationship. It’s real. I’ve known guys all my life to have five or six women.

‘I don’t look at [whether they’re] much younger than me, I just look at legal. I don’t know if you’re married. One might be older than the other.

‘I’m a man that loves all women.’

Recalling how he met Savage, R Kelly explained: ‘I didn’t go looking for a Jocelyn Savage, I was doing my show. [Her father] asked a friend of mine to bring her on the stage with R Kelly.’

Revealing the status of his relationship with Clary, the R&B singer said: ‘Right now, I’m seeing her. She’s 21.’

When asked if he had sex with Clary when she was 17 years old, he replied: ‘Absolutely not. Although her parents wanted me to.’

Accusing the parents of ‘selling their daughters’, R Kelly continued: ‘What kind of father, what of mother will sell their daughter to a man? How come it was OK for me to see them until they wasn’t getting no money from it?

‘If I were going to take my daughter and she’s 19 to a 49-year-old’s concert, I’m not going to take her to the stage and leave her.’

R Kelly, full name Robert Sylvester Kelly, was arrested last month and charged with 10 counts of criminal aggravated sexual abuse against four women, at least three of whom were allegedly underage.

The singer denies all charges and is expected to appear in court on 8 March.

It’s been a pretty exciting week on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire as the show returns to screens for its latest run.

The new series kicked off with Jeremy Clarkson actually getting to ask the £1m question for the first time since he took over as host of the show – although the contestant, teacher John Robinson from Birmingham, passed and left with the runner-up prize of £500,000 instead.

The show’s set to return for another run of instalments at a later date – but do you think you could become its next millionare?

If you fancy your chances, here’s how you can apply.

How do you apply for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

If you want to face Jeremy Clarkson and those fiendish questions on a future series of the show, you can apply here.

Currently applications are open until 23:59 on Friday 28 June although this may be extended without notice at the discretion of producers.

There aren’t too many rules when it comes to applying, although all hopefuls must be aged 18 years or over.

You must also be a British citizen or have the right to reside in the UK.

Meanwhile anyone who has worked for Stellify Media, Sony Pictures Entertainment, ITV or any other affiliate companies connected to the show in the past year is ineligible to apply, as are any members of their immediate family.

What does the application involve?

You’ll face a barrage of questions before you’ve even got as far as the audition stage, with applicants asked how they’d spend the million if they won, how their friends would describe them and other facts about themselves.

If you think you can face those – and you’ve got what it takes to face Jeremy Clarkson in the hotseat – then go for it…

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire continues on ITV this week every night at 9pm.

Kylie Jenner has just been named the world’s youngest self-made billionaire ever.

And while she revels in the title, it seems the star has started a lot of controversy with her achievement.

Talking about whether or not the 21-year-old is a good role model for young girls today, the Loose Women panel unleashed their views, with Janet Street-Porter calling the star ‘shocking.’

The 72-year-old quipped: ‘Anyone at the age of 17 who puts lip fillers in then sells lip products put on artificially filled lips…

‘It’s not a value based on something I’m comfortable with.’

She added: ‘As a role model – I think she is a shocking role model for young girls.

‘What will she be remembered for? Big lips? What is that going to do for the environment?’

But while the presenter was off on her rant, Coleen Nolan chirped in and supported Kylie’s hard work.

The singer added: ‘Yes, but she’s worked having a famous family to her favour. So that’s a good business brand.’

She continued: ‘Some people would take the money and sit on a yacht all day, but she has turned it into her own business so I think that’s good.’

Earlier today, Piers Morgan voiced a similar sentiment to Janet, and claimed the beauty mogul was far from self-made.

He said: ‘Wait a minute, when you say self-made billionaire? I just thought she got it because her sister made a sex tape, and that’s why they’ve all become hugely rich.’

The 53-year-old continued: ‘If Kim Kardashian hadn’t made a sex tape which then got leaked, and she took ownership of it and made millions, then built a whole billion-dollar family franchise out of it, none of them would ever have been heard of.

‘When you say “self-made” billionaire, what you mean is, her sister had sex with somebody, the tape got leaked and the whole family cashed in.’

Forbes announced Kylie’s news earlier this week after valuing her beauty line Kylie Cosmetics at around $900million (£686million).
