Gemma Atkinson was left starving as James Martin served up cured salmon and red wine on his TV show.
Gemma, who is pregnant with her first child, missed out on sampling the dishes presented on the cooking show as her pregnancy means she is unable to eat certain foods.
The Strictly Come Dancing star couldn’t sample the gin-cured salmon on James’ show on Saturday and lamented the fact she couldn’t currently drink.
As he removed the cure from the salmon, the chef joked: ‘I knew you were…not now, but you were a gin lover.’
‘Yes I was a gin lover’ Gemma said.
James’ guest, fellow chef Stephen Terry, explained that fish could be cured or eaten raw ‘as long as you’re not pregnant. It’s not something you’d want to do.’

Gemma, 34, replied: ‘That’s one thing I’ve missed, because I normally have salmon like this in the morning with some eggs, and ever since being pregnant I’ve not been able to, and that’s one of the things I do miss, is salmon.’
James quipped that she could ‘stick it in the freezer’ until after the baby is born.
The former Emmerdale star got to try a bit of the sauce served up with the fish dish.
She also missed out on trying some red wine which James and Stephen got to enjoy, having to settle for smelling it instead.

Around the dogs’ necks were signs reading: ‘Guess what… Mum’s pregnant!’ and ‘We’re going to be big brothers!’
Gemma tweeted: ‘And what Amazing big brothers they will be! Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year. Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already @gorkamarquez1.’

Pete Davidson has defended being an R Kelly fan as he compares those supporting the star to being part of the Catholic Church.
The controversial comedian has never been one to mute his thoughts, and on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, he took his moment on Weekend Update to discuss R Kelly and Michael Jackson, as well as the documentaries surrounding sexual abuse allegations against them both.
Speaking next to Colin Jost, Pete said: ‘Have you guys seen the R Kelly documentary? Before I continue – this guy is a monster and he should go to jail forever. But if you support the Catholic church, isn’t that the same as being an R Kelly fan?’

As the studio audience gave a mixed reaction, he defended his stance and said: ‘I don’t see the difference, only one’s music is significantly better.
‘The other day my mum was like “I’m going to mass” and I was like “I’m going to go listen to the Ignition remix.’
R Kelly is currently awaiting trial on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse on four different women, three of which were under age at the time.

Meanwhile, the Catholic Church has been dogged with numerous allegations of their own over several years, with major influencers within the religion being accused and being found guilty of abuse.
This week alone, a French cardinal Phillipe Barbarin, was found guilty of covering up sexual abuse, while at the end of February ex-Vatican treasurer was found guilty of child sexual abuse.
‘I don’t know what it is with talented people, Charlie Chaplin was the first movie star ever and he married a 15-year-old, and he couldn’t even talk,’ Pete added, touching on the #MeToo movement which also swept through Hollywood last year.
‘Pretending these people never existed is probably not the solution. The rule should be, you can appreciate their work, but only if you admit what they did,’ he said.
Shedding light on the inequality of normalcy when it comes to men going for younger women, Pete backed up his new romance and said: ‘It doesn’t really bother us, but then again I’m new to this…
‘So if you have questions about a relationship with a big age difference, just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Statham, Michael Douglas, Richard Gere, Jeff Goldblum, Scott Disick, Dane Cook, Derek Jeter, Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Tommy Lee, Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn and whoever the president of France is.’

American Gods is back for a second season after almost two years of waiting (Picture: Amazon)
Fans of American Gods are about to get what they’ve been patiently waiting for for nearly two years, as the second series of the show finally kicks off.
Yup, after behind the scenes ‘turmoil’ on the Neil Gaiman adaptation – including cast changes and the departure of its original showrunners – and only a mere glimpse of footage in all that time to keep us going – series two is imminent.
So just when does it kick off in the US – and when can we watch it here?
We’ve got all the information you need.
When does American Gods season two begin in the US and when can we watch it here?
The new season of the show kicks off in the US on Sunday night on Starz, and will air weekly in the UK on Amazon Prime.
We’ll be getting the episodes weekly on Mondays, the day after they’ve been shown across the pond, although Amazon Prime have not confirmed what time they will be released.
What is American Gods about?
The series is based on the Neil Gaiman fantasy novel of the same name about a world in which the gods brought to the US by immigrants have been gradually forgotten and now exist on the fringes of American society.
The shows itself follows character Shadow Moon (played by former Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle) who is drawn into this world – as the old gods attempt to fight back against new ones – after he is released from prison, and becomes bodyguard to mysterious new employer Mr Wednesday (Ian McShane).

Here’s what you can expect to happen in season two, according to the synopsis: ‘The battle between Old Gods and New Gods continues to brew as we join Mr. Wednesday just a few short hours after his declaration of war and the epic showdown that ensued at Easter’s party.
‘While Mr. World plans revenge for Wednesday’s attack and Technical Boy searches for Media, Mr. Wednesday continues his quest to pitch the case for war to the Old Gods with Shadow. Laura and Mad Sweeney in tow, Shadow begins to understand this strange world of the gods and carve out a place in it as a believer, but it is far from a straight path.’
What’s new in season two?
Apart from original showrunners Michael Green and Bryan Fuller leaving ahead of filming on season two – to be replaced by Lost’s Jesse Alexander, who also left midway through filming and who has been replaced by producing director Chris Byrne and line producer Laura Kussner.
Aside from all that there are a few other changes, with Gillian Anderson, who played the goddess Media in series one, not returning.
She’ll be replaced by South Korean actress Kahyun Kim, who’ll be playing the redefined character New Media.

Nicki Minaj has blamed the cancellation on her tour show in France last night on ‘technical difficulties’, after fans were left waiting at the venue.
The Super Bass singer was scheduled to perform at the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux on Saturday night as part of her new tour alongside rapper Juice Wrld.
Concert-goers spilled into the arena ready for the big performance but Nicki, 36, was a no-show on-stage despite being seen taking photos with fans at the venue.
Later in the evening, Nicki addressed the chaos in an Instagram video which opened up with her appearing to smoke a blunt.
The rapper then explained casually: ‘You guys, it’s not in my best interest not to perform, lose money and aggravate my fans.
‘I love performing for my fans, I’m more excited than you are before the show.’
Nicki continued: ‘These two cities that had technical issues are cities that I’d never been to before and we tried to add them but they just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show and they didn’t tell us until three hours before the show as opposed to once we did sound check they said it was fine.
Why would an artist cancel a show & lose money? What for? When they’re already in the building, dressed, etc. The artist is just as mad as the fans when a show can’t go on. I love seeing my fans. Nothing can stop me. B4 the show, juice WRLD & I are just as excited as u guys are.
‘But anyway, every artist has technical difficulties and has to cancel shows. I want to tell you guys that I love you dearly and I really hope to make it up very soon.’
The arena supported Nicki’s statement that she had hoped to perform the show, stating: ‘Nicki Minaj and Juice Wrld were at the room waiting to be able to give the concert.’
After posting the video announcement, Nicki shared a clip of her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, having fun at an arcade park, likely deciding to enjoy themselves after the failed evening.
Nicki will bring the tour to the UK tomorrow night for a show at London’s O2 Arena.

Whether you think Momo is a hoax or not, it’s pretty much a safe bet to say that the character is legit terrifying to look at – and now SNL have brought her to life.
Thanks guys, it’s not like we ever needed to sleep again or anything.
In a new sketch for the long-running US favourite, Kate McKinnon dons a chicken suit to become a human/chicken hybrid called BokBok, the face of a chicken shop.
Promoting the new brand, the advert sketch mocked the creepy character as it insisted the mascot ‘wasn’t just Momo in a chicken costume’ – even though it kind of clearly is.

Soon she’s seen popping up next to kids in their cars, force feeding drumsticks to children and basically being really weird with her super wide grin sending shivers down everyone’s spines.
We can’t unsee it and we hate it already.
For those who didn’t know, Momo is a new trend sweeping YouTube and online as a whole, with claims it is giving small children instructions to harm themselves and others around them.
She said ‘content creators’ are now making fresh videos and splicing them with a few seconds of terrifying footage of the creepy character.
They then exploit online algorithms to get them played by youngsters searching for innocent footage of TV shows and sports – by tagging them so that they appear in the ‘Play next’ section after a kid has watched something of that genre.
Tash said: ‘It is possible for anybody to create anything for YouTube. ‘Maybe there are a few historic videos made elsewhere in the world that someone will find and it will get talked about.
‘Then lots of people start to discuss it and it becomes a media storm. ‘That then appeals to people – maybe teenagers in their bedrooms – who think “this is funny” and they make more videos in which they put in a clip of Momo.
‘People have got wind of the publicity and they have made it into a real thing.’

The director of ITV’s new thriller Cheat doesn’t want women to be portrayed as ‘victims’.
Louise Hooper doesn’t want too much focus on the fact she is a woman.
When asked about female directors at a screening, she said: ‘It’s not about what sex you are. I don’t direct with my vagina! Only on Wednesdays. On the other hand I’m a woman and I know how it feels.’
Referring to her characters she continued: ‘I’m not interested in victims. I like strength and with that you can have these other emotions. I want to be authentic and real so you can have bulletproof reality.
‘There’s a sex scene in a later episode where the woman involved isn’t passive, she’s active.’
Cheat centres on university lecturer Leah who accuses bright young student Rose of cheating in an essay. When Rose retaliates, the women get caught up in a dangerous battle of wits with life-changing consequences.

Molly Windsor, who plays Rose, defended her character’s controversial choices.
She said: ‘I think she’s cool. I will fight Rose’s corner to the end.
‘She sees this world for what it is, she sees Leah’s family and she is not of their world so she can laugh at it.
‘To be an outsider with her own issues as well was fun to play. You’re finding new things out right up until the last second.’
Louise added: ‘It’s not cat and mouse its cat and cat. It’s two strong women. It’s two boxers in a ring.
‘I never wanted one to be weaker than the other. They’re opposite each other and hard as nails. They’re two sides of the same coin.’
Katherine Kelly, who plays Leah, admitted that she didn’t always support her character the whole way through.
‘[Leah] is confused about who she is and it changes,’ she said.
‘We didn’t want to sew it up and say goodie and baddie. It was a gift of a part.’
Asked if she had ever cheated at anything herself, the actress admitted: ‘I am sure my [school] coursework would have been a little more of a collaborative effort.
‘My brother was really good at music and French and he was only 18 months younger than me. He might have riffed a few things for me perhaps.’

After just 10 months together, the pair drew a line. J Lo has for the most part kept quiet about their relationship, but Judd revealed that her fame made their relationship impossible. The 45-year-old dancer talked about his failed marriage at a 2014 Industry Dance Awards show in Hollywood.
According to US Weekly, he talked about the struggles being with a high profile celeb. ‘You know it’s very tough,’ he said.
‘Your privacy is breached. You’re no longer a normal person. [Our wedding] was a circus. I think several people for arrested trying to climb up a mountain…trying to sneak in. we actually rented the airspace.’

You remember that 2016 photo that got the world going crazy: it featured Drake and J Lo cosied up together on a coach.
Rumours were aflame that the 31-year-old rapper and Lopez had a brief but fiery fling. Neither parties confirmed nor denied the dating claims, which only fanned rumours.
It didn’t help that Drake seemed to have referenced ‘losing J Lo’ in his single Diplomatic Immunity.
The lyrics in Diplomatic Immunity, in particular, hint towards heartbreak as Drake announced: ‘2010 was when I lost my halo / 2017 I lost a J-Lo’.

And so we come full circle. After a number of failed marriages and not-quite-there-yet relationships, it seems J Lo has finally found the perfect man for her.

Gayle King and R Kelly’s interview has certainly got everyone’s attention this week as Kelly continues to stand by his innocence over the 10 charges of aggravated sexual assault.
So naturally, Keenan Thompson and Leslie Jones tore it to shreds in the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.
In the cold open sketch of the long-running comedy series, Keenan became R Kelly and insisted he be called ‘victim’ as Gayle King’s line of questioning continued to get the better of him.
‘People think that I’m some kind of a monster – I’m here to remove all the doubt,’ Kelly says in the sketch, before calling back to classic hit Bump N Grind as he declared: ‘My lawyer was telling me no, but my ego, my ego was telling me yes.’

When he says that people are trying to take advantage of him and use him for his money, Gayle reminds Kelly that he was also in trouble for not paying back $161,000 in child support.
As a result, he backtracked and declared he was broke.
Gayle clearly isn’t buying everything that he’s saying, repeatedly making him look stupid as he realises the interview was already being filmed.

When asked if he has wronged any women, the 52-year-old replied: ‘Lots of things wrong when it comes to women that I apologise. But I apologised for when I was in those relationships.
‘I have been assassinated, buried alive. But I’m alive.’

He’s conquered England with his award-winning performance in the Bodyguard, and now Richard Madden is considering trying his luck in America.
The Scottish actor, who won a golden globe for his role in the Netflix series and received praise for his Game of Thrones stint, is reportedly looking to moving across the pond for a bit of Hollywood fame.
Madden impressed viewers as Robb Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones and later as personal protection officer David Budd in Bodyguard – and he’s even being tipped to play the next James Bond, if his Bodyguard co-star Keeley Hawes has anything to do with it.

According to The Sun, the 32-year-old actor is ready to go. A source said: ‘Richard’s career is going from strength to strength – the world really is his oyster.
‘He never really used to like Los Angeles, but went there a couple of times at the end of last year and fell in love with the place.’
Part of the stateside appeal might have something to do with his new mate, actor Brandon Flynn, who rose to acclaim with his role in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
While Madden was in the US, he and the 25-year-old apparently went out on a bunch of fun nights together, and the well-connected Flynn ‘introduced lots of his friends to Richard.’
Madden will soon grace our cinema screens alongside fellow British actor Taron Egerton in the Elton John biography Rocketman.
Egerton will be playing Elton John, and Madden is set to be his manager and former lover John Reid.

Jennifer Lopez is a newly engaged lady after it was revealed she’s set to marry her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
The retired MLB player popped the question as they celebrated their two-year anniversary with a holiday in Baker’s Bay, saying simply: ‘She said yes,’ as he shared a snap of her engagement ring on Instagram.
Alex – or ‘A-Rod’ as he is known – is a former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman, and is considered one of the greatest players of all time.
During his career he played for the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers before moving to the New York Yankees, playing for them from 2004-2013 and again from 2015-2016.

Following his retirement Alex is now a broadcaster for Fox Sports 1, as well as appearing on Shark Tank, the American version of Dragon’s Den.
He also joined ESPN in 2018, as part of the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast team, as well as hosting Back In The Game on CNBC.
J-Lo and Alex originally met in 2005 and encountered each other a few times again over the years, but it wasn’t until a meeting in Beverly Hills that the romance began to blossom.
Jennifer revealed to Vanity Fair magazine that when she saw him she’d ‘almost yelled out “Alex”,’ having been too shy to go over and say hello – although she eventually plucked up the courage.

Game of Thrones season 8 is now just over a month away and fans will finally learn who will be victorious and end the show on the iron throne.
The series has been running for eight years and is has seen it’s fanbase continue to grow into a global phemomenon, winning various awards including Emmys for Outstanding Drama series and making numerous ‘best TV show’ lists.
Actors like Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage have also gone on to become stars of other film and TV releases.
Despite many deaths throughout the shows history, many favourite characters will be still be involved in the final battle between the living and the dead.
Odds on who will die in the final season currently has Euron Greyjoy and Cersei Lannister among the favourites to be killed off, along with Lord Varys and Jorah Mormont.

How to catch up on Game of Thrones
Fans of the show can re-watch the whole of the series so far on Now TV or by watching the Sky box set.
Episodes from throughout the show are also being shown regularly on Sky Atlantic in the build-up to the new series.
To watch the series on Now TV you will need an Entertainment package which costs £7.99 a month, but if you are a new member then you can get a 14 day free trial.
Sky Mobile has also launched a new feature called Watch, which means that users can watch Game of Thrones on the move without it affecting their data.
If you don’t want to stream the series or get a subscription to NOW TV or Sky, then the other alternative is to buy the Game of Thrones DVD boxset which is currently available for around £70.

When does Game of Thrones season 8 start?
The final season of Game of Thrones will start on Sunday 14 April on HBO in the US and 15 April on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
Season 8 will be the shortest one so far with just six episodes, but each one is set to be longer than the usual hour length that fans have come to expect.
She said: ‘He wrote me, just recently, an email, and remembered that conversation [from the pilot], and it brought tears to my eyes.
‘I’m just so blessed that I’ve had that opportunity to have a character that people worldwide recognise and look up to, especially right now, with everything that’s happening with the #MeToo movement and Time’s Up.’

The actress added that she feels there should be more standout female characters like Lagertha on TV.
‘I think right now, we need more role models like Lagertha. We need more women who speak out, and characters on TV that people look up to…someone that has substance, somebody that has true value, somebody that young girls can try to relate to and aspire to be.
‘I’m blessed and honoured to say that I believe Lagertha has had that influence, and we need more of her out there, or characters like her out there.’
Hirst has previously opened up about how he convinced Katheryn to play the role.
In an interview with Syfy she said: ‘I’ve thrown everything at Lagertha. I’ve told Katheryn I would put her in lots of situations that women have been in.
‘After she’s left Ragnar in the second season, we see her married to an abusive guy. Katheryn said that she didn’t like that story, that [she’s] got a following who see Lagertha as a strong, powerful woman. “What are they going to think of me?”
‘I told her Katheryn that strong, intelligent women will relate to your situation, it’s how you deal with it that matters. I’m going to put you in lots of different situations that resonate.’

Ricky Gervais has confirmed that he already has ideas for After Life season two following the launch of his latest series on Netflix.
Across the weekend families have finally been able to binge watch the newest offering from the British comedian, with After Life following the bittersweet tale of a man coming to terms with the loss of his wife.
And while it looked like that might be just a one of season, Ricky has confirmed that ideas are already being laid down should the show return.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk and other outlets, he said: ‘I always do that just in case I die!’
‘Now I’ve thought about it, and I really would like to do a second series because I fell in love with the characters and I’ve got an idea of where it can go,’ he added.
‘The second series is always better. Usually because you know the actors.
‘There’s a little clue at the end of series one when he says, I’m just going to use my superpower for good. He can still be an asshole, and just enjoy it more.’

In the new series, Ricky Gervais’s character Tony lashes out against the world and decides to do and say what he wants following Lisa’s death.
This includes calling a kid a ‘tubby little ginger c**t’ after he walks past school gates, getting into frequent fights with his postman, and ripping into his workmates.
Touching on the idea of suicide, Ricky was keep to lay down that he wanted the show to be respectful of the subject matter, but also added that people needed to see beyond that as a tagline.
Ricky said: ‘I don’t think suicide is the topic. I think the topic is grief, and grief makes you think lots of things. I don’t think suicide is any more the topic than him getting drunk every night.
‘It’s just that it’s final. I think that’s why we think it’s a bigger subject. It’s final, and that’s why I think it takes the eye. But again, it exists, and I treat it respectfully.’
After Life is available on Netflix now.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner looked like the ultimate loved up couple as they enjoyed an NBA game ahead of their summer wedding.
The pair attended a basketball game between the New York Nicks and the Sacramento Kings in New York City on Saturday alongside Sophie’s parents.
The Game of Thrones star and her Jonas Brothers fiancé were all grins as they took an adorable selfie before cheering for the team, and were calm despite what was probably a sea of paps waiting for them outside.

They opted for bright, eye-catching clothing – Joe with his red jacket and Sophie with her bumble bee-coloured yellow and black mini dress.
At one point the 23-year-old actress couldn’t contain her excitement and threw her hands up to cheer for her team as Jonas grinned from beside her.
During the game, the 29-year-old singer took to his Instagram story to share with his fans that he was there with his future in-laws, Sophie’s mum Sally and dad Andrew.

Sophie and Joe are set to be married this year, with reports suggesting the big day will happen in France. Sophie recently revealed that, much Joe’s ire, she’d ruined the ending of Game of Thrones.
Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the fantasy epic, told Glamour: ‘I’ve just told Joe.
‘But he’s so mad at me – he loves the show.’
Her reasoning had been simple: ‘Well, I have to tell someone, otherwise I’ll burst.’

Katie Price clearly isn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty as she stepped into the kitchen to cook her own meal at a restaurant in Thailand this weekend.
The former Loose Women host has flown off to the stunning climes of Thailand with her boyfriend, Kris Boyson, for what he described as a ‘well-deserved’ holiday.
After jetting in from Gatwick on a business class flight, Katie, 40, and Kris, 27, headed out for a romantic dinner and, surprisingly, the former glamour model wasn’t too proud to help out in the kitchen.
With a big smile on her face, Katie happily posed wearing a chef outfit while stacking dishes. It’s believed the reality TV star actually helped to prepare the meal and she Kris had ordered.

Before indulging in their delicious meal and cocktails, the happy couple posed for a photo at the dinner table looking all kinds of relaxed with Katie snuggled into Kris’ chest.
The pair were earlier seen arriving at their stunning resort with Kris pulling ‘KP’-branded luggage.
Kris was particularly thrilled to be jetting away from their realities at home, and shared a photo of him proudly sitting in business class on Instagram.
The fitness trainer wrote: ‘Take Off #Needed#WellDeserved,’ before adding the captions: ‘#holiday #sun#fashion #mensfashion #fitness#love #success #motivation#family.’
It’s been a difficult few weeks for Katie, who was convicted of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle and handed a three-month driving ban and £1,500 fine. However, she did manage to avoid a separate conviction for drink-driving.
Katie’s business class flight may come as a surprise in the midst of the mother-of-five’s financial troubles. The TV star avoided bankruptcy last year after a judge agreed a repayment plan but it was recently reported that she faces losing her West Sussex mansion at auction over unpaid debts.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Richie said: ‘It took last year for us all to get our feet in the water, if you will. Now we’re taking the dive.’
The first show already brought with it some memorable moments from the judges – from contestant Walker Borroughs, who impressed Richie with his rendition of Hello, through to visually impaired singer Shayy Winn who left the panel in tears with her emotional rendition of Andra Day’s Rise Up.

Wes Nelson has denied he’s getting back together with Megan Barton-Hanson and said their break-up got him to Dancing on Ice final.
The Love Island star, who met Megan on the dating show last summer, admitted that he wasn’t 100% focused on his training when he was still with his girlfriend.
Ruling out ever getting back together he said that relationship with Megan is a little more steady since their break-up.
He said: ‘Before it was not civil and now it’s just civil. But it’s not anything more than civil.’

Being one of the hot favourites to take the Dancing On Ice crown tonight, the 20-year-old now reckons that ending his romance with Megan helped him improve his skating.
Wes and his dance partner Vanessa Bauer are up against ex-Strictly pro dancer James Jordan, 40, and X Factor runner-up Saara Aalto, 31.
Speaking to The Mirror, Wes explained how his split from Megan, 25, helped him focus on his work on the rink.
He said: ‘At training, I would be nowhere near as focused as I am now.
‘I’d be skating and then run off to use my phone.’

Wes estimated that he would spend half of three-hour sessions with Vanessa talking on the phone. He said: ‘It was a constant cycle of not being able to train. We’d get momentum, we were finally getting somewhere and then I’d have to take a call.’

Megan had made her feelings towards Vanessa very clear when she previously accused her of ‘tactically announcing’ her split from her long term boyfriend in a bid to get close to Wes.
But despite being in the audience the week after announcing their break up, the Love Island star isn’t going to be watching Wes on Sunday night.
Wes told press ahead of the final: ‘Megan won’t be coming to support me at the final.’
Addressing the rumours surrounding him and Vanessa, he added: ‘There’s absolutely nothing going on with me and Vanessa.
‘There’s still nothing going on with me and Megan. I’ve been pretty clear about that. It’s been cleared up anyway.’

Ellen Pompeo has defended Meredith’s new relationship with DeLuca in Grey’s Anatomy after a bit of a backlash online over the decision.
Meredith has been in a bit of a love bind for the past couple of seasons as she struggled to find her new Mr Right. While Link Lincoln was in with a chance for a long while, it’s Andrew DeLuca who has managed to win her over.
But while Meredith might be happy, fans aren’t quite as convinced, thinking the age gap is too big.
However, Ellen has hit back at a backlash, and wants people to know that age wouldn’t be as much of a big deal if the sexes were reversed and it was an older guy pursuing a younger girl.

She told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘There’s still plenty of older guys that are with much younger women and no one says anything. But hopefully we’re past people saying that about an older woman with a younger man.

It looks like things are about to get amorous for a few of our fave residents in next week’s episode as well, with the trailer alone turning up the heat.
The episode, titled And Dream Of Sheep, promises something we didn’t see coming – could things be getting hot and heavy for even MORE of the our doctors.
But with contracts, including Ellen’s, coming to an end in 2020, the future of the show remains uncertain.

Blac Chyna’s ex Jay Bradley aka YBN Almighty Jay was beaten and robbed in NYC this weekend.
The rapper, who is now said to be recovering, was shopping inside of a Saks Fifth Avenue store when he was attacked on Friday night, according to TMZ.
The 19-year-old, who recently dated 30-year-old Chyna, bumped into rapper Lil TJay and his entourage at the location when the two sides ended up getting into a verbal altercation before the entire thing broke out into a physical fight.
Videos of the beef quickly surfaced online as a member of TJay’s crew posted it on Instagram Live as they filmed and chased Jay.

In another video, Jay can be seen being jumped by a group of people. In the clip, he gets kicked in the head multiple times and his attackers appear to try to rob him.
The cameraman yells: ‘That’s the YBN n***a? Take his chain.’
Luckily for Jay, he manages to get up and is able to escape the melee while his attackers shout at him.
It appears as if they were able to grab hold of his chain and other valuables.
Images of YBN were also shared on social media of him in a hospital bed displaying some gruesome injuries, swollen face and stitches.

Blac Chyna, 30, has received criticism for her relationship with YBN Almighty Jay, real name Jay Bradley, with many taking issue with the 12-year age gap.
While the ‘oldest son’ comment was obviously a joke, Chyna is actually a mother to five-year-old son King Cairo, whom she shares with Tyga, and one-year-old Dream, her daughter with Rob Kardashian.
Chyna was engaged to Tyga before he ended their relationship to start dating Rob’s younger daughter Kylie Jenner.
In April, YBN Almighty Jay fuelled rumours he and Chyna were engaged – while pregnancy rumours have also swirled – after jokingly proposing on Instagram: ‘Will you marry me?’
