Katharine McPhee grilled over Meghan Markle and fiance David Foster by Piers Morgan in cringe Good Morning Britain interview

Katharine and David probably weren’t expecting Piers’ grilling (Picture: ITV)

Katharine McPhee sat through a rather awkward interview with Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, leaving viewers in ‘shock’ over their line of questioning.

The 34-year-old actress stopped by ITV’s breakfast show on Tuesday morning to discuss her new West End theatre show Waitress, but it seems Piers and Susanna had another agenda.

Before Katharine even got in the hot seat, Piers, 53, had spent all morning fawning over her fiance David Foster, and his merits as a legendary music producer so it was expected that he’d be starstruck when later interviewing Katharine as David, 69, watched from the sidelines.

While Waitress did get a brief mention, Piers soon challenged Katherine on politics stating: ‘We’re all going through Brexit mayhem, you’ve escaped America which is also going through ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’.

Susanna expressed her frustration with the politics line as Katharine shook her finger at Piers, saying: ‘This one always looking for some controversy.’

She added: ‘I stay very non-vocal [on politics]. I have opinions but…’

That wasn’t enough to dissuade Piers though, who probed: ‘So what do you think of Trump’s America? I’m genuinely curious.’

David looked slightly unamused by Piers’ questions (Picture: ITV)

In another attempt to drive home that she has no interest in discussing politics, the singer told Piers: ‘I’m like a lot of people in Hollywood, I actually try to keep my opinions to myself because I think there are fans that are republicans and democrats. So I don’t think it’s the right thing to alienate one group or another.

‘Also just to assume that they know better than people who live in another part of the country.’

Piers then changed his attentions – or, ahem, affections – to David who watched on cautiously nearby in the studio.

The TV presenter said: ‘Given we have your fiance sitting here, let’s make him squirm a little bit. He’s been married a few times,’ prompting a gasp from a shocked Susanna.

But Katharine played it off like a pro, replying: ‘Oh, just a few times.’

Piers couldn’t help but fan-boy over David’s presence (Picture: ITV)

Piers then stepped it up another notch and added: ‘You’ll be wife number five. Do you think you’re the woman to tame the beast?’

He then justified his intrusive question as ‘it’s a statistical fact’.

Katharine replied with class: ‘I know I’m the one to tame the beast. We both tamed each other, we have a lot in common.

‘We obviously know we have a big age difference but we don’t need to talk about that.’

Elsewhere, Katharine was asked about going to school with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and explained: ‘My sister was in her class, they were the same age, she was always lovely, always talented and always put together. I actually saw her last week… and I got to reunite with her and it was so sweet because she remembered me but she really remembered my sister.’

Viewers were shocked by Piers’ challenging questions, including one who tweeted: ‘What the hell was that @gmb? Had @katharinemcphee on to talk about Waitress but spent her whole interview talking about Trump, Meghan Markle and her fiancé? Not a single word said about Waitress, which by the way is a phenomenal show. That was shocking.’

Another ITV viewer wondered: ‘How frustrating to appear on a tv show to promote a stage show and not asked about it,’ and another weighed in: ‘That interview was a joke @GMB i feel so bad for @katharinemcphee … stop trying to make every segment controversial for views.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

The Grand Tour’s James May basically stole a Jaguar for three years

The Grand Tour host James May once borrowed a car from Jaguar and forgot to return it for three years.

We can relate to someone lending you something like a book or a DVD and it hanging around on your shelf for ages, but we’ve never done it with an expensive car.

James was only supposed to have it for six months as he was using it for a driving series.

But the presenter moved house and it slipped his mind to let Jaguar know that their vehicle would be in tow.

James revealed seven surprising things about himself in a new video for DriveTribe.

He explained: ‘I once stole a Jaguar from Jaguar.

‘I borrowed it for six months to do a series of long drive stories. I moved house and didn’t tell them and they came back for it three years later.

‘I said, “What is it still here?” and it was outside with 68,000 miles on the clock.’

While James should have brought their car back when it was finished with it, we’re not sure why it took Jaguar so long to go and get it off him.

In the fun clip he also reveals he has a phobia of wires hanging behind computers and televisions because ‘I don’t like to see them tangled up, it gives me a slight pain in the back of the neck’.

James is heading off on his own for a brand new travel series Our Man In…Japan, temporarily leaving behind his The Grand Tour co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond.

It will serve as the first of a collection from the Amazon Prime team with Clarkson and Hammond also going on solo adventures.

Heading off from Heathrow over the weekend on the trip, James said: Japan is the most amazing place I’ve ever visited. Everything about it is a surprise: a boiled sweet, a bullet train, an unexpected ancient temple, and the challenge of eating a single edamame bean with chopsticks.’

The Grand Tour continues Fridays on Amazon Prime Video.

Olivia Newton-John has revealed how she desperately tried to hide her recovery from her third battle with cancer.

The Grease actress, 70, admits that she used masks, glasses and hats to go ‘undercover’ while she was learning to walk again, in the months after radiotherapy in 2018.

Olivia was restricted to using a walker following her admission to her own Cancer Wellness & Research Center in Australia to treat a tumour in her lower spine.

‘Nobody knew I was there,’ she said. ‘So I was “undercover boss” in the hospital on purpose.’

Olivia was speaking to Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’Dell about her May 2017 diagnosis, which saw her cancer metastasize to her sacrum.

To treat it, she completed a short course of photon radiation therapy but was left unable to walk for months.

‘I didn’t want people to know because I didn’t want it to be out there in the public that I was in the hospital.

‘I was learning how to walk again. I was using a walker, so I’d wear a beanie and glasses and masks, so no one would know who I was.’

Later that year, Olivia took part in a 5km fundraising walk for breast cancer but it still left her in ‘intense pain’.

This January, she rubbished ‘laughable’ reports that she had ‘weeks to live’ while her bodily functions shut down.

The actress was first treated for breast cancer 17 years ago, when she underwent chemotherapy and a partial mastectomy at the age of 43.

It was later revealed that she secretly battled cancer for a second time in 2013, the same year her sister Rona died from brain cancer, and then the spinal tumour was found in 2017.

Rebecca Humphries ‘lost home, job and anonymity’ after Seann Walsh’s kiss with Katya Jones

Rebecca Humphries has said her split from Seann Walsh robbed her of her ‘home, job and anonymity’.

The actress found herself in the spotlight last year after her boyfriend of five years, comedian Seann, was pictured kissing his Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.

The kiss rocked Strictly and led to Rebecca very publicly dumping the 33-year-old with possibly the greatest break-up letter of all time.

Now, Rebecca has channelled all the negativity into her beauty website, The Trowel – but admits that ‘discovering details about my own relationship via the media’ after Seann’s ‘workplace infidelity’ was rough.

Writing for iNews, the 31-year-old said: ‘The knock-on effects included losing my home, job, anonymity and the relationship trajectory I had worked my arse off for in spite of my better judgement.

‘It was never lost on me that my new Marlboros-for-breakfast lifestyle was playing out in sharp antithesis to a three-ring public circus of plastered smiles, sequins and virginal Charlestons.’

Ah yes, the pizza themed Charleston on the week after the kiss – a true classic.

However, after hiding out in her friend Claire’s attic in a ‘Black Mirror style scenario’, she turned all the drama into her dream – starting a beauty website with Claire that reviews beauty products without the usual BS we’ve come to accept.

Rebecca said: ‘The overriding feeling was of freedom, control and a zen-like self respect which I came to realise was empowerment.

‘During that time I also received many comments about how great I looked, and I knew they weren’t just being nice because occasionally they would sound so surprised it was borderline insulting.

‘I may have been stuck indoors, but I was still trowelling on the products, still taking great pleasure in my three-step routine before bed.’

The resulting website, The Trowel, is refreshing and rather brilliant, with Rebecca and Claire discussing why shopping at NARS can make you feel like you’re in a porno, and explaining why Simple eye make-up remover is all you need to get the job done.

This comes as Neil Jones, husband of Katya, explained how he forgave the Russian dancer for the kiss with Seann.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, the 36-year-old said: ‘‘I think, for me, I can accept people make mistakes. My mum always said: “People make mistakes in their lives. Don’t react, try to understand”. So that is how it always is for me.’

Seann has also addressed the scandal this month, admitting that his treatment of Rebecca was a form of abuse.

Equality And Human Rights Commission to investigate BBC over gender discrimination

The Equality And Human Rights Commission has launched an investigation into BBC pay practices over alleged discrimination against women.

The commission is thought to suspect that ‘some women at the organisation have not received equal pay for equal work’; it comes 14 months after BBC director general Tony Hall pledged to close the gender pay gap and have women in half of all on-air roles by 2020.

‘The investigation will examine formal and informal pay grievances raised with the BBC by staff to determine if there has been unlawful pay discrimination and whether grievances have been adequately resolved,’ said the EHRC.

The EHRC has used the powers granted to it under the Equality Act to open an investigation into the corporation.

Director-General of the BBC Tony Hall (Picture: Getty Images)

In response to the investigation, a BBC spokesperson said: ‘Given the public focus on this important issue we understand why the Equalities and Human Rights Commission is looking for assurance on equal pay and we welcome it.

‘It is a logical time to do this as we have gone through a period of significant reform.

‘We are confident that the BBC can provide that assurance and indeed go beyond and demonstrate our commitment to be a model for others to follow in this area as a result of our reform programme, although of course we will learn any lessons from the EHRC’s work as we continue to deliver change.

‘The EHRC’s terms of reference acknowledge the programme of reforms the BBC has been undertaking. If they had worked with us prior to our reforms, they would have found a very different organisation. Some of the criticism levelled at us over this period was very fair as change was overdue. We believe our pay structures are now fair, transparent to staff and stand very positive comparison with other organisations.

‘Over the past two years we have actively encouraged people to come forward with questions over their pay. Many of these have been routine queries, and we have now resolved more than 85% of them. We also commissioned independent reviews which did not find systemic issues of pay discrimination but, along with work we’d already been doing, identified improvements to our pay structures which we have been making.

‘As we have already acknowledged, we have some historic equal pay cases. We are profoundly sorry for this. We regret the time it has taken to resolve all of the questions, but some of these are complex and have not been straightforward to resolve. We are determined to make progress on the remaining ones.’

Former China Editor for the BBC, Carrie Gracie (Picture: Getty Images)

In January 2018, journalist Carrie Gracie resigned as the BBC’s China editor in protest at unequal pay, accusing the broadcaster of a ‘secretive and illegal pay culture’.

Clare Balding, Emily Maitlis and Sarah Montague were among a string of prominent BBC women to voice their support for Ms Gracie, who said the corporation was facing ‘a crisis of trust’ by not paying its male and female workers equally.

At the time, the BBC has said it was performing ‘considerably better’ than other organisations on gender pay, although a group representing women at the corporation said it knew of up to 200 who had lodged complaints.

Ms Gracie said she was not asking for a pay rise, but wanted the BBC to ‘simply … abide by the law and value men and women equally’.

It came six months after the BBC have released their annual report and for the first time identified the names of staff earning more than £150,000.

It immediately led to outrage at the gender pay gap, with Chris Evans and Gary Linekar taking home £2.2 million and £1.75million respectively compared to the highest female earner, Claudia Winkleman, who had a yearly has a salary of just £450,000.

Only seven women earn over £300,000 compared with 17 men.

Apex Legends first battle pass details emerge in new leak

Apex Legends - not a stealth hit
Apex Legends – when is the new battle pass arriving? (Picture: EA)

Apex Legends is set to receive a battle pass sometime in March, as early details start to emerge from fans searching through the game’s code for clues.

In what’s become a common source of leaks, dataminers have dived into the back-end of Respawn’s battle royale shooter to search for possible upcoming features – discovering some small early details about what could be included in the battle pass.

As discovered by RealApexLeaks on Twitter, hidden in the game’s code are details for character skins as unlockable cosmetics, along with a tiered system where free-to-play players can level up – just without as many rewards as paying players.

The leak also details a ‘battle pass bonus’, although it’s unclear what exactly this will involve.

The details are not much of a revelation, but it’s an indication the battle pass launch could be imminent.

There’s a lot riding on the battle pass in Apex Legends, with many players now wondering how developer Respawn will handle new content in the wake of the game’s huge success.

Apex Legends hit over 50 million players worldwide earlier this month, outpacing the growth of major rival Fortnite in the same time frame.

With Fortnite’s success in large part due to developer Epic Games delivering a consistently surprising string of updates in their battle passes, it’ll be interesting to see if Respawn and EA can maintain the same longevity through the same means.

Apex Legends is available now, for free, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Peter Andre says Michael Jackson’s legacy is ‘tarnished’ forever over sex abuse allegations

Peter Andre believes Michael Jackson’s legacy has been irreparably ‘tarnished’ over the mounting sex abuse allegations, even if the claims are found to be untrue.

Jackson, who died in June 2009, is the subject of Leaving Neverland, an HBO documentary which features claims from Wade Robson and James Safechuck that they were molested by the popstar when they were children.

Addressing the effect of the serious allegations on Jackson’s legacy and family, Peter said on Good Morning Britain: ‘The way I stand on it is if it’s proven true, then it’s the worst thing that could possibly ever happen and victims should definitely have a voice, there’s no doubt about that.

‘The problem is if you look at the flip-side and say it isn’t true, this is damaging his family, his brothers, his mother, his kids, his legacy.’

He added: ‘His legacy is tarnished now because whether it’s proven or not. The problem is we don’t know 100% what happened and there is some sort of trust you have to have in the justice system and if it’s true, I’d be absolutely devastated for the victims.’

GMB host Piers Morgan agreed: ‘It’s complicated because nobody really knows where the truth lies as always.’

Peter admits he’ll be ‘devastated’ if the sex abuse claims are proven true (Picture: PA/Rex)

After Leaving Neverland aired on Channel 4 in the UK last week, it emerged that Peter was one of the young boys pictured alongside Wade Robson when they competed in a Jackson dance competition in their childhood.

Addressing the photo, Peter said: ‘I was there that day that Wade won and I didn’t realise until years later that Wade was the one that had won that.’

After viewers spotted him in photos that were featured in the documentary, Peter admitted he was ‘devastated for months’ after losing out to Wade. He also said he refuses to ban MJ’s music until he is found to be guilty.

Various members of Jackson’s family have vehemently slammed the sex abuse allegations and were previously said to be suing HBO for around $100 million over the Dan Reed-directed film.

Rixton change their name to Push Baby as they undergo huge rebranding

Rixton are undergoing a huge rebrand after signing up with Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s manager.

The band will now be known as Push Baby, seven years after forming.

Not confusing at all.

The Me And My Broken Heart singers confirmed their rebrand by launching new Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts under the name Push Baby, as well as updating their YouTube channel.

The band – consisting of Jake Roche, Danny Wilkin, Charley Bagnall and Lewi Morgan – uploaded a teaser for their comeback song The Running Jump, which hints at an edgier turn for the artists formerly known as Rixton.

Throughout the clip, a robotic voice can be heard saying: ‘Everything becomes something else.’

Fans are pretty baffled, but are just happy the boys are back after a four-year hiatus.

One person wrote in their YouTube comments: ‘I don’t understand but I love it…. finally guys, it’s been 84 years’, with another commenting: ‘Why’d u rename ur band? Rixton is a sick name!!!! But I’m still hella excited for this new music!’

And one Rixton fan channelled Chandler Bing energy, writing: ‘To quote Chandler Bing ; I have no idea what’s going on but I’m excited.’

Push Baby explained their new branding on their YouTube profile, and yes, they’re well aware it sounds like it’s to do with childbirth.

Jake said: ‘No matter what we do we just want people to feel authenticity. Even with the name. People are going to love it or hate it, but at least it’s self-aware. “Baby” is the most overused word in pop, so we’re upfront about what this band is coming out of the gate.

Push Baby
Introducing Push Baby (Picture: Instagram)

‘Hopefully by the time anybody is reading this, the search results for Push Baby will be more than just women giving birth.’

Fingers crossed.

Rixton hit number one back in 2014 with their debut single Me And My Broken Heart, which charted worldwide, including at no 14 in the States.

They went on to have top 40 success with songs including Wait On Me and We All Want The Same Thing, and became a staple of UK festivals, before opening for Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Demi Lovato.

Their debut album Let The Road peaked at number 19 but achieved positive reviews – however, the band were dropped by Interscope Records last August.

Push Baby are considering this as a debut, not a comeback, saying: ‘We’re telling real stories. We were away for years, and I come home to everyone thinking I’m now rich and famous. They think I’m getting all kinds of free stuff and living an amazing life. In reality, we’re back to square one.’

Frontman Jake is the son of Coleen Nolan and Shane Ritchie, and was previously engaged to Jesy Nelson.

Fun fact – Jesy’s band Little Mix also changed their name, although theirs was less voluntary; while on The X Factor, the new girlband discovered Rhythmix was also the name of a children’s charity.

Jonas Brothers becomes first boyband in 16 years to get Billboard No 1 with comeback single Sucker

The Jo Bros are back!  (Picture: WireImage)

The Jonas Brothers are not having a quiet comeback as their new single Sucker has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs.

The trio had previously peaked at a modest no 5 high with Burnin’ Up in 2008, over 10 years ago.

It seems as if tween nostalgia is taking over the world – or at least a lot of the people running to their sound systems to soak in on some grown-up Jo Bros music.

Sucker entered at number one thanks to 88,000 pure sales and 43.7 million streams in the U.S. alone – so that is definitely something Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas can celebrate as it made them the first boyband to do so in 16 years.

The win means the group have taken the crown from recently reunited B2K whose song Bump, Bump, Bump with P. Diddy sat at number one in 2003.

Sucker is the fourth top 10 hit for both Nick and Jonas, who both landed the same kind of success with their solo projects.

Nick’s hit track Jealous reached to no 7 in 2014 – we can still hear the harmonies now – while Joe pushed the viral hit Cake By The Ocean to no 9 in 2015 with his group DNCE.

The success comes after the Jo Bros finally announced the worst kept reunion secret in recent showbiz history.

Earlier this year the rumours started circulating the trio were going to reform six years after they stopped making music.

A lot has changed in that time. Nick is married to Priyanka Chopra, Kevin is married and has kids with wife Danielle, and Joe is about to marry Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner.

So there is a lot of marriage – and sex – to write about as their famous purity rings have gathered dust.

Never was the chatter about a potential reunion so intense than last month when the social media accounts of the lads sprung back into swift operation. Then Quantico star Priyanka went and liked them on Instagram (something she evidently didn’t way back when).

A music insider previously told The Sun that the brothers secretly flew into London in February to plan new music, their comeback and a thrilling documentary.

The source said: ‘This is going to be one of the biggest music reunions in years.

‘It’s no secret that things weren’t great by the end of the Jonas Brothers, but blood is thicker than water and they’ve healed their rift in the years since the split.

‘After enjoying solo music success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together.’

R. Kelly says his ‘spirit’ put him up to that bizarre television interview with Gayle King on CBS last week.

The 52-year-old accused on 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse allegedly believes he ‘owed it to himself and to his fans’ to break his silence.

Speaking to TMZ, sources close to the RnB singer have attempted to explain the explosive interview, in which he began ranting before standing up and waving his arms around in an angry manner while he protested his innocence.

Insiders say R Kelly is ‘in constant touch with his spirit,’ and tends to take guidance from it ‘more than the people around him’.

The R’n’B star was freed from jail after posting $100,000 of a $1million bail earlier this month, and has entered a not guilty plea for the charges.

Court documents reveal that three of the four women currently accusing Kelly of abuse were underage at the time of the alleged abuse.

His interview with journalist King on CBS last week is the first time the singer has formally addressed the charges on television.

During the sit-down chat, King maintained her composure, despite later saying that she was worried the musician would actually hit her.

‘If I had tried to comfort him or stop him,’ she reflected. ‘I thought that that would have escalated the situation because he was so ramped up, and the way he was hitting his fists so violently.

‘I was more concerned that he might accidentally hit me as he’s flailing his arms. Not that he intended to hurt me. I was never afraid of him.’

Kelly broke down in tears when asked by the interviewer if he had ‘ever held anybody against his will’.

He told King such accusations were ‘stupid’ before emotionally declaring he is ‘fighting for his life’.

Holly Willoughby has paid tribute to her grandmother who has sadly passed away.

‘Today we say goodbye for a little while to my beautiful Nan… go and be with Grandad… he’s been waiting for you… love you… miss you…,’ she wrote on Instagram alongside a selfie she had taken with her Nan.

The funeral took place on Tuesday and saw Rylan Clark-Neal step in for Holly on This Morning as she took time off to celebrate her Nan’s life.

Her ‘beautiful nan’ was laid to rest on Tuesday (Picture: Instagram)

Phillip Schofield told viewers: ‘Holly’s not here today. Sadly her nan has passed away and today’s the funeral. We’re sending lots of love to Holly’s family and especially her mum Lynne.’

Holly, 38, is close with her family and regularly shares pictures of her with her 70-year-old mum on social media.

‘I still run everything past her. If I’m about to buy a pair of shoes, I’ll go, “Mum, do you think I should be doing this?” It’s silly,’ she told The Mirror.

‘I’m a fully grown woman, of course I can buy shoes. But I still like to talk to her about everything.’

Holly previously deemed her mother a ‘mega-babe’ when she turned 70, sharing a collage of old pictures of birthday girl Linda, including two of her as a curly-haired baby.

However, it was the bikini snap of Mrs Willoughby that had crushes formed.

Sporting a mega-watt smile and wavy brown hair, Linda is a stunning beauty – and the selfie Holly posted with her mum in the collage shows that she’s as beautiful in her seventh decade.

Holly wrote: ‘Total and utter mega babe… then and now!!!! My Mumma… 70 today!!! Love you beyond… Happy Birthday beautiful.’

Holly Willoughby has missed Tuesday’s edition of This Morning, with viewers seeing Rylan Clark-Neal hosting alongside Phillip Schofield instead.

It was revealed on the show last week that the 38-year-old would be absent from Tuesday’s show, with Rylan stepping in instead.

But why is Holly missing today?

Well there’s actually a heartbreaking reason for her being absent from her usual place on the sofa – as she revealed on Instagram that she’s ‘saying goodbye’ to her beloved grandmother.

Holly shared a snap on Tuesday morning of her with her grandmother from 2017, saying: ‘Today we say goodbye for a little while to my beautiful Nan.

‘Go and be with Grandad…he’s been waiting for you…love you…miss you…’

The post was liked almost 134,000 times in the space of an hour, as Holly’s followers inundated her with good wishes and messages of support.

Phillip Schofield also confirmed the sad news as This Morning began, saying: ‘Holly’s not here today, her nan has passed away and today is the funeral.

‘So we’re sending lots and lots of love to the whole family, especially to Holly’s mum Lynn…lots of love to you guys.’

Holly Willoughby presents This Morning alone

News of Holly’s absence from the show was initially announced last week as Phillip said on air that he and Rylan were presenting today.

He added: ‘I think that’s the first time that’s been said out loud,’ but did not give a reason why.

Holly, meanwhile, found herself having to present the show alone last week when Phillip was taken ill.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.

Killing Eve season 2: Villanelle’s new trailer looks ranked from worst to best

$

0

If there’s anyone that can cram a staggering nine costume changes within the space of a minute, it’s Killing Eve’s Villanelle.

Becoming a style icon from the moment we laid eyes on her, the character (played by Jodie Comer) has a lot to live up to in the aftermath of the series one finale.

We’ve only got a few more weeks to go before we see what the cat-and-mouse chase with Eve (Sandra Oh) brings up next.

One thing’s for sure – no matter what, they’re both going to look fabulous, but it’s pretty clear who the real fashionista is here.

As our favourite assassin cuts her teeth with more unique choices, we’ve gone through the trailer and pulled out teaser clips on what’s in store from her wardrobe.

Here’s what we think of what we’ve seen so far, with her new looks ranked from worst to best…

#9. The pale-faced nightgown

This granny nightie is so not haute couture (Picture: BBC)

After the end of season one, it’s clear that Villanelle is out of her depth and looking for help wherever she can get it.

Unfortunately that includes a wardrobe that isn’t entirely soaked in blood.

A pale blue nightgown is more suited to an older woman, but with a face that pale after so much blood loss, you gotta forgive this one faux-pas.

#8. The perfect blend-in

Keeping it more simple than normal, this understated look is not what we’re used to from Villanelle (Picture: BBC)

Free from all her outfits, costume changes and make-up, this is a much more natural Villanelle than the one that we’re used to.

We don’t know why she decides this is the way to go, but we kind of dig it anyway.

But what is Eve going to do once she sees her? Or is she making so little effort that she will slip through the cracks with ease.

#7. The super pajamas

We’ve got to admit – we’re kind of digging the pajamas (Picture: BBC)

This is one hell of a look after stealing something from, presumably, a teenage boy.

A bit baller on her part, she kind of looks like someone who means business, or something up way past their bedtime.

Either way, she’s somehow pulling it off and we kind of love it.

#6. Tailored suits forever

The tailored suits are back and we’re living for it (Picture: BBC)

If Villanelle was in a tailored suit, you knew she meant (probably really bad) business back in season one.

We hope that’s true because we’re already in love with this black suit and tie look.

Dinging a hotel bell, it’s clear she’s after someone. But who and why?

#5. The Artistic Teacher

Hippy primary school teacher is definitely not a look we were expecting but we like it (Picture: BBC)

#4. The masked beauty

We have so many questions regarding this piece but whatever it is it’s fabulous (Picture: BBC)

#3. The hippie hoper

Tortured artist Villanelle looks sassy AF (and cosy as hell in that oversize jumper) (Picture: BBC)

We can’t imagine much more satisfying than the discovery of an item of clothing that’s so comfortable we almost forget about what it  was destined for the red carpet

Add a poker straight pink wig, and we have a straight up fantasy that this look is how we separate is everything we want it to he.

#2. The Pulp Fiction bob

A killer suit and an amazing new wig? Sign. Us. Up. (Picture: BBC)

Everything about this black-and-white outfit screams sass and sophistication as she goes undercover a new job.

Looking like Mia and Vincent had a baby in Pulp Fiction, we just know that underneath it all she has a gun to match too.

We’d hand overselves over without a second blink.

#1. Pink is always best

This pink ensemble is totes Instagrammable, just don’t tell her that (Picture: BBC)

Proving that pink really is her colour, the assassin’s quiet moment of reflection in Amsterdam is ruined by an Instagrammer.

We’ve all been there hun.

The tied pink shirt and the giant salmon coloured skirt looks stunning, and the gold earrings are just everything could’ve possibly ever wanted.

But when she’s asked for a photo, she refuses, telling the budding photographer to ‘get a real life.

No, we won’t get a real life. We’re obsessed with your wardrobe and we want it all.

So there.

Why is Loose Women not on today and when is it back?

That’s all the Loose Women you’re getting for the rest of the week (Picture: Rex Shutterstock)

Loose Women has become such a staple of the ITV daytime schedule that it’s always a surprise when it’s not there.

And today is one of those days when the show is missing from its usual 12.30pm slot after This Morning.

So just where are the Loose Women – and when are they coming back?

Well, there’s a pretty simple explanation for its absence – as the show is taking its annual four-day break to make way for live coverage of the Cheltenham Festival.

The panel confirmed the news on Monday’s show, with Andrea McLean saying: ‘And that’s it from us for the rest off the week I’m afraid, we’re off because of the races.’

The Cheltenham Festival in 2018

The newly revised ITV schedule means that the Lunchtime News will now air at 12.30pm after This Morning, with Cheltenham coverage beginning at 1pm.

The four-day event is one of the biggest in the National Hunt racing calendar, with 28 races set to take place over the next four days, among them the Gold Cup.

They’ll be aired on ITV as well as Racing TV, meaning you don’t have to miss out even if you can’t make it to Cheltenham.

As for Loose Women, you don’t have to miss out on that for too long either – as it’ll be back on our screens on Monday 18 March at the usual time of 12.30pm.

Dragon’s Dogma anime series is heading to Netflix

Dragon’s Dogma is heading to Netflix (Picture: Capcom)

Netflix has announced Dragon’s Dogma will receive the anime adaptation treatment, adding to the growing pile of video game TV shows on the platform.

If you’re unaware, Dragon’s Dogma is an action role-playing title from Capcom which was first released in 2012 and has since amassed a dedicated cult following.

Netflix has announced it’s partnering with Japanese animation house Sublimation for the new series, with the company’s director Atsushi Koishikawa, saying: ‘The Sublimation team has long dreamed of working on our own title.

‘We have oftentimes worked with partner studios to create partial CGI portions within a given title, so we feel very fortunate to work with Netflix through this production line deal. We’re exciting to bring our unique cel-shaded animation that carries hand-drawn textures to anime fans around the world.’

A short synopsis for the planned series was also released, which states: ‘Based on a world-famous action role-playing game set in an open world, Dragon’s Dogma from Capcom will be brought to life as a Netflix original anime series.

‘The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an Arisen. An action adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.’

Dragon’s Dogma feels like a strange choice for an adaptation considering its small audience, but it could be a sign Capcom is potentially working on a sequel – something which Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno has hinted may be his next project.

The original Dragon’s Dogma is also set to be released on Nintendo Switch in April, so Capcom are certainly still interested in the series.

Netflix has a growing list of video game TV adaptations in the pipeline, including The Witcher, Devil May Cry and another season of Castlevania.

Piers Morgan bops like a penguin to 50 Cent after having the nerve to mock Claudia Winkleman’s Comic Relief danceathon

Piers Morgan dancing to 50 Cent is not something we signed up for, and neither did Susanna Reid who looked like she wanted to jump out of the Good Morning Britain window, and honestly, same.

The fiery GMB host had the nerve to mock Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who are dancing solidly for 24 hours to raise money for this Friday’s Comic Relief.

But all the money in the world won’t make up for the fact that our eyes will be forever scarred with the lasting memory of Piers getting off his chair, clenching his fists like he was in extreme agony and bopping to In Da Club.

Susanna was all of us as she groaned: ‘What are you doing?’

Though, Piers’ biggest fan – Piers – was loving life, and grinned: ‘Now that’s dancing!’

It was a particularly eventful morning for the father-of-four on the Good Morning Britain news desk today, as he clashed with pretty much everyone who dropped by.

The 53-year-old slammed ‘patronising’ model Alysso Milano for her ‘I am trans’ message, which was anything but surprising, and managed to offend Peter Andre – who stood by Michael Jackson through the Leaving Neverland allegations – by asking about his estranged ex-wife, Katie Price.

Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly
Piers was mocking Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly over their Comic Relief danceathon

Always a no-no.

However, he jumped to another model’s defense after Sophia Hadjipanteli revealed that she genuinely received death threats over her monobrow.

As for Claudia and Tess, at the time of writing they’re currently half way through the longest danceathon for Comic Relief ever.

The Strictly Come Dancing presenters have already smashed through 80,000 steps since 7.15pm last night and have been kept entertained by the likes of Beverly Knight, Arlene Phillips, Fleur East and Vernon Kay.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

Rihanna clone shares struggles of being Riri lookalike – but fans just want to know where album is

The real Rihanna FYI (Picture: Getty Images)

You think you’d have the world at you feet if you woke up every morning looking like the pop Queen that is Rihanna.

But it turns out it’s not always so easy to look like the Rude Boy songstress, as Riri doppelganger Yna Sertalf knows all too well.

While chatting to BuzzFeed, the 23-year-old lookalike opened up on her daily struggles of being a Rihanna clone.

And it doesn’t sound as glamorous as you’d think.

She told the publication: ‘Because I’m a little shy I’ve never used it voluntarily, but it’s true that it’s easier to get into a club or to be offered a drink.’

But while enjoying her freebies, the France native revealed she is still battling to find love because of her looks.

The influencer added: ‘I’ve heard it for a long time and sometimes people ask to take pictures with me when I go out.

‘But in my personal life, it can be a bit complicated because I never know if someone is speaking to me for my personality or because they think I look like Rihanna.’

She continued: ‘When I talk to a guy it’s often “you look like Rihanna” and he’s happy to show me off to his friends and I often wonder if we can move beyond the looks.

‘But outside of that I find it all pretty funny.’

The rising star spoke about how it was her uncle who first noticed the similarities to the singer, after she’d chopped her hair into a bob.

He went onto tell Yna’s mum, and since then it seems as though both her family and fans alike have compared her to the star – especially after she joined Instagram.

Fans just want to know where album is (Picture: Yna Sertalf / Instagram)

Posing in similar ways to Rihanna, Yna has quickly found herself a following on the social media platform, and has already racked up 23,000 followers.

But despite her not being able to find love just yet, it seems her fans aren’t too fussed, as they keep asking the Instagrammer where the album is at.

Since the real Umbrella songstress started to tease her fans with new material, she has been inundated with the same question – turning it into a running joke with her fanbase.

And while we eagerly await her next release, it seems pappa Fenty couldn’t help but let some news slip when he was reportedly chatting to fans about his daughter’s career.

Someone claimed to have sent a DM to the star’s father on Instagram begging for details on the new album.

They later told their fellow Navy members that Ronald replied: ‘She’s working on her new album she is in the studio right now.

‘The other one will be out next year her engineer and fell ill he’s in the hospital he’s making a speedy recovery.

‘She will release one she’ll be keeping others for the future like prince like Michael Jackson stockpiling blood in the new year you were here [sic].’

Daniel Radcliffe is far from Harry Potter as he rocks facial hair to play escaped prisoner

The filming took place at the old Adelaide Gaol which has been transformed into Pretoria prison for filming. Daniel and his co-star in the scene were shackled as they exited a white van and were met by many officers. Daniel's character had his legs shackled as well as his hands in parts of the scene. Daniel Radcliffe will always be best known for playing Harry Potter – so those distinctive round glasses and lightning scar will be linked to him forever.

But the actor may be going a bit overboard when it comes to shaking off the boy wizard.

The 29-year-old sported a scruffy bears and long hair as he filmed scenes for the upcoming movie Escape From Pretoria in Adelaide.

Daniel was dressed in a dirty shirt, tie and slacks as he walked to a police van, with shackles around his wrists and ankles.

While he was wearing specs for the scene, they were far from Potter-style, with Daniel wearing clear plastic frames.

The former child star plays anti-apartheid activist Tim Jenkin in the drama, which will depict his infamous escape from Pretoria Prison in 1979.

Jenkin was arrested and charged with ‘producing and distributing 18 different pamphlets on behalf of banned organisations’, including the South African Communist Party and African National Congress.

He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 12 years in prison – however, Jenkin broke out of prison with fellow inmates Alex Moumbaris and Stephen Lee using handmade keys.

Daniel loves not shaving and tbh, it suits him (Picture: John Sciulli/Getty Images for Turner)

Daniel definitely looked the part as he filmed at Adelaide Gaol, but he actually grew a full beard for the TV series Miracle Workers.

And the star admits that his facial hair had mixed reactions.

Daniel told the Mirror: ‘They’re like, “What’s happened to him?” Like they think I have fallen on hard times, or something.

‘But I like any excuse to be told not to shave for a few months, it’s great. Without a little bit of stubble I just look like a very tired child.’

Post-Potter, Radcliffe has had an eclectic CV, starring in indie films such as Kill Your Darlings, Horns and Swiss Army Man, as well as Hollywood films like Now You See Me 2.

He has also led a successful career on stage in productions of Equus, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and The Cripple of Inishmaan.
