TXT are already smashing records (Picture: Big Hit)
TXT only debuted a week ago, but they’re already breaking records.
Looks like they’re following in the footsteps of label-mates and sunbaes BTS.
The five-piece boyband have become the fastest K-pop group to chart on the Billboard 200, after their debut album The Dream Chapter: STAR entered the chart at number 140.
Billboard also confirmed that The Dream Chapter: STAR is the highest-charting debut album by any male K-pop group in history – which is an amazing achievement.
TXT – also known as Tomorrow x Together – also saw The Dream Chapter: Star reach the top of a number of charts.
The album, which features the band’s super-catchy debut song Crown, topped the World Album Chart as well as the Billboard Emerging Artists chart, which ranks the most popular ‘developing artists’ in the US.
Crown as topped the World Digital Sales chart, while Blue Orangeade debuted at no 10, Cat & Dog entered at no 14, and Our Summer reached no 17.
Not too shabby.
TXT have already cultivated a huge fanbase (Picture: Big Hit)
While the Big Hit band have obviously made it this far due their own talent, TXT have been gifted with advice from label-mates BTS, which they are truly taking to heart.
Speaking to Koreaboo, Beomgyu said: ‘They emphasised a lesson they learned from Bang Shi Hyuk: Always remember the importance of the team.
‘Every time we run into them, they tell us, “Always think of the team first. Become an amazing artist. We’re always looking out for you and cheering you on.”
‘They always give us warm advice whenever we see them. It gave me strength while I was training.’
Legends support legends, after all.

David Walliams with his Britain’s Got Talent co-stars Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (Picture: REX)
David Walliams ‘hasn’t actually seen’ an episode of Britain’s Got Talent as his mum didn’t want him watching ITV.
His mum Kathleen felt the channel was ‘common’ and banned him from watching it as a child.
David joked that he is still not allowed to tune in and is yet to see what Britain’s Got Talent looks like on telly.
‘Apparently ITV was common. She still doesn’t allow me to watch it – I’ve never actually seen Britain’s Got Talent. I hear it’s quite good.’
David, who is returning to BGT as a judge this year, added that he would have loved to go on Crackerjack or Ant and Dec’s former show SM:TV Live.

He said of Crackerjack: ‘It was brutally unfair that they were on TV and I was not. And now I am.
‘But I remember thinking, when Matt Lucas and I became well known, that I would have loved to go on one of those Saturday morning shows – Going Live! with Phillip Schofield or SM:TV with Ant and Dec – but they were all ending, or had ended.’
‘We’ve worked together now for seven years, I think this is my eighth series, and when we get together it feels like a family vibe in the studio,’ Alesha explained during Loose Women.
‘It just feels good and it’s felt great. Everyone’s being naughty and being themselves.’

Stacey Solomon once nearly left her newborn son in a supermarket (Picture: WireImage)
Stacey Solomon has announced that she is expecting her third child, and it seems her previous two kids have put her in good stead for the new arrival.
Despite coming across as the perfect mum on all of her social media – it seems the 29-year-old has had some ‘parenting fails’ herself, and opened up about her faux-pas in her book Happily Imperfect.
When talking about her eldest son Zach, who is now 10-years-old, the mother-of-two revealed that she once almost left her bambino in a supermarket when he was just a newborn.
In an extract from her book, the Loose Women panelist recalls: ‘I’ve had some spectacular parenting fails in my time!
‘Not long after Zach was born I was walking around a store, putting stuff in my basket. He was in his buggy and I’d placed the basket on top.’
She’d forgot she’d taken baby Zach with her (Picture: WireImage)
Opening up about the dramatic moment she realise her tot was missing, the star added: ‘At some point I’d lifted the basket to carry it on my arm and drifted off.
‘About 10 minutes later I was queuing at the till when I suddenly felt sure I’d had another basket or something.’
Yes Stacey, your baby!
She laughed: ‘That “something” of course was Zach! I don’t think I’ve ever moved as fast as I did through that store.’
The past X Factor contestant shares Zach with her ex Den Cox and six-year-old Leigh with her former boyfriend Aaron Barham.
The star is now expecting her third child with Joe Swash (Picture: Getty Images)
She’s now set to give birth to her third baby, who she shares with Joe Swash.
Sharing a number of pictures of Stacey fast asleep, the Extra Camp presenter joked: ‘Have been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company…
‘So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.’
He added: ‘I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news.
‘We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.
‘It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now.’

Norman Reedus has turned his love for motorbikes into a career (Picture: AMC)
Norman Reedus ascended to international fame playing Daryl in The Walking Dead, but it’s the characters love of two wheels which has opened up new paths on the small screen.
As one of the surviving original characters from the first season, Daryl has become one of the lasting figureheads on AMC’s horror series, known for taking down walkers with crossbow bolts, going rogue, and riding around the post-apocalypse on a motorbike.
It’s the latter trait which kickstarted Ride With Norman Reedus, a travel series which allows the actor to absorb motorbike culture around the world. All while hanging out with famous faces from Dave Chappelle, Marilyn Manson to The Walking Dead co-stars Andrew Lincoln and Steven Yeun.
Norman’s connection to bikes under the public eye, however, launched bizarrely through the actor’s fear of horses, after being asked to ride one of the animals in an early scene on The Walking Dead.
Melissa McBride aka Carol from The Walking Dead joins Norman Reedus for an episode this series (Picture: Aidan Monaghan/AMC)
‘Back when my character’s brother Merle was alive on the show, they had a scene where I ride a horse,’ Norman tells Metro.co.uk. ‘I’m terrified of horses, and I was like, “Whose motorcycle is that over there?” They said it was Merle’s and I went, “Well it makes sense that if he rides, I ride.”
‘I talked them into that. Horses just freak me out with their big eyeballs, and they smell your fear. I did a movie once with Robert Redford where I rode a horse, and it was such a disaster.’
Showing little resistance, the showrunners eventually left the motorbike as key component of the character. This decision also spurred drives around Georgia off-camera which, eventually, helped him find a place to call home.
‘They kind of just let me get away with it,’ Norman adds. ‘They could see I could ride and just looked the other way I think.
‘Actually Jon Bernthal, who played Shane, he lived out in this big community in Georgia because he had these two big pitbulls, and it’s the one place where they’d let him keep dogs. So I’d go visit him on my motorcycle. It was so beautiful out there, I ended up moving there way out in the country.’
Daryl has been with the show since the beginning (Picture: AMC)
Flash forward to filming on the third season of Ride With Norman Reedus, and the actor’s bike life has stretched to riding Penny-farthings across north London. It’s the variety which keeps the show fresh, having travelled with renowned motorcycle gangs like the East Bay Dragons and Hell’s Angels in past seasons.
Mentioning these names often brings up negative stigmas of gang conflict, but Norman believes the common love of riding on the open road binds bike cultures around the world.
‘There’s a camaraderie on motorcycles,’ Norman says. ‘I always say if my bike breaks down on the side of the road, it’s going to be another motorcyclist that stops and helps me — and that’s always the case.
‘They’re exactly the same [around the world], which is really great. A lot of people have the misconception that it’s all outlaw and biker-ish but it’s not. All the bike riders get along. They kind of all blend together in my mind for the most part.’
His round the world series, originally pitched as ‘like Anthony Bourdain on motorcycles’, takes place on the downtime between filming The Walking Dead, with the actor also juggling time performing motion capture for new Hideo Kojima video game Death Stranding.
He might have his hand in many pies, but Norman seems aware he’ll struggle to breakaway from Daryl. During our Ride With Norman Reedus set visit in London back in March 2018, before the departure of Andrew Lincoln, he’s very nostalgic about the show’s former years.
‘When we first started out that show everybody was so gung-ho to make it. It’s easy to turn it into a campy, horrible show, and everybody was just so in it to win it,’ Norman says.
‘They fought hard to keep it real, and that early cast was golden. Everybody had each other’s backs. Nobody had egos, it was like we were at war. It was awesome. As the show has progressed, new characters pop in and I don’t think some of the newer characters understand what it took to create the show from the beginning.
The Walking Dead is now in its ninth season (Picture: AMC)
‘You’re walking on a show that’s already a hit, so your first week on the show you’re an action figure. You go to these conventions and people are screaming your name. Sometimes you see people’s heads expand and they either float off into the ether or they come back down to join the fight. It’s interesting with some of the new cast because you’re curious who’s in it to win it, and who’s like, “Look at me, look at me.”
‘Some of the old cast ask me now what it’s like, and I say “It’s a little different than it was back then, you know.” A lot of the newer actors, it’s their first or second jobs acting ever, the rest of us have been working for a long time, so it’s a little different.’
Asked if he gets nostalgic for the show’s early days, Norman said: ‘I miss that time. That was the golden years of the show. It created something. Those were the bricks that house built and I think you have to honour that.
‘You have to remember where you came from and what you put into it. We do have elements of that but we have elements of the new too, so it’s a mixture of both now. The show has become such a machine, it’s such a billion dollar operation now. Back then, it felt more like an indie film.’
A lot has happened to The Walking Dead since, with Andrew Lincoln leaving the show as Rick Grimes, changing showrunners, and the reports of Danai Gurira also departing in the next season.
The question is often raised of how much steam is left as key characters depart, but, whenever that happens, it seems Norman wants to be there for the final bow.
‘I started the show and I’d like to bookend the show,’ Norman said. ‘I’d like to be there when it ends. I just don’t know when the endgame is.
‘I just don’t want the brand to get watered down too much. You got this goose that lays the golden egg, sooner or later you got to let the goose fly free. You don’t want to kill it. I don’t know if that’ll happen, we’ve got a lot of good, creative people on the show, but if this show went on for 20 years, it would get watered down, there’s no way around it.’
Asked about the point he’d consider leaving, Norman says: ‘If the show ever lost track of what it was…. There’s two feet on the ground, it’s the end of the world, you either fight for this cause or you runaway from this cause. But this is your chance to show who you would be in this situation.
‘I think that’s what viewers of The Walking Dead related to, “Oh if this happened, I’d do this.” Sometimes it’s better to run than it is to fight, it’s your two feet on the ground, what are you going to do? When The Walking Dead loses that point of view, then I think it’ll fade into the ether.’
Ride With Norman Reedus season three airs Mondays on AMC 9pm.
A model who has become an Instagram sensation over her fierce monobrow has revealed she gets death threats over her bold look, prompting Piers Morgan to jump to her defence.
Sophia Hadjipanteli opts not to pluck her eyebrows proudly leaving her monobrow, nicknamed Veronika, to grow naturally. The model’s striking look has earned her almost 200,000 Instagram followers but unfortunately it’s also attracted some unwarranted attention.
During her appearance on Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Sophia said: ‘I get a lot of death threats funnily enough, I guess it’s not that funny.
‘I definitely get a lot of negative reactions, I’m not going to sit here and say a lot of them are positive because that’s obviously not the case. Most are negative.’

The model doesn’t have the ‘patience’ to report the death threats (Picture: ITV)
With hosts Piers and Susanna Reid listening horrified, Sophia continued: ‘It’s disgusting but then you think how is it that somewhere somebody has been told that it’s so unacceptable to look the way I do that it infuriates them to the point where they have to threaten my life.
‘I think it has to do with this ongoing conversation that we are being brought up in a society that not only favourites but encourages people to go down one road. It’s quite a strongly paved road.’
Piers slammed the death threats as disgusting and admitted he finds Sophia ‘beguiling in person’.
After revealing that she doesn’t report the nasty messages, Sophia continued: ‘I try not to read a lot of them so a lot of people tell me when I get them. I don’t really have the patience to go through each comment.
‘It’s a bit of a shame when you want to go through all the nice ones. But it’s worth it.’
Sophia was heaped with support from GMB viewers who condemned the death threats, with tweets including: ‘Anyone who sends a death threat over a monobrow needs to reevaluate their life’ and ‘Death threats due to her monobrow? Humans really are sad twats…
They’re just eyebrows!’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.

OG Maco shared images of the disease (Picture: Instagram)
Atlanta rapper OG Maco has revealed he is battling a flesh-eating disease.
Taking to Instagram, the 26-year-old revealed that he felt friends and girlfriends had left him over the diagnosis which has seen the skin on his scalp and face swell and blister.
‘So much healing has a [sic] occurred thanks to God and my doctors that I’m willing to show all a fraction of what I’ve been going through,’ Maco shared on Instagram.
‘I was improperly treated for a minor rash and ended up with a skin eating disease for the last few months. This is the best it’s looked,’ he told fans.
‘I hope it gives someone hope.’
The disease is known as Necrotising Fasciitis and the NHS calls it ‘a rare but serious bacterial infection that affects the tissue beneath the skin, and surrounding muscles and organs’.
In other pictures, Maco said that he felt he had been left to go through his diagnosis ‘alone 90% of the time without the support of the person I love, without most of my “friends,” without anything but my own strength and God’.
‘Girlfriends/Lovers will leave you at your worst. Friendship is many times just a word. Actions are everything. Believe in those who show you actions worth believing in,’ he added.
In a video, which he later deleted but was shared by officialfullyloaded_tv’s profile, he admitted he had been dealing with the disease for three months.
‘People who I’ve given all my love to — all of everything to just didn’t show up and it caused me to not really trust anybody or believe in anything,’ he sadly said.
‘I’ve been scared a lot, I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t know if I’d lose my entire face — I almost did.’
‘Necrotising fasciitis can start from a relatively minor injury, such as a small cut, but gets worse very quickly and can be life threatening if it’s not recognised and treated early on,’ says the NHS.
The disease can be fatal but is treated with antibiotics and sometimes surgery.

Peter Andre refused to answer questions about his ex-wife Katie Price during an uncomfortable moment on Good Morning Britain.
The Mysterious Girl singer spoke to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid to promote his new movie but the conversation soon turned to Katie, 40, who appeared on GMB last week and criticised Peter for allegedly not allowing their two children, Junior and Princess, to take part in photo shoots and her reality TV shows.
Piers and Susanna played a clip from Katie’s interview to get Peter’s ‘reaction’, but he was completely unwilling to play ball.
Clenching his fist, the 46-year-old popstar replied: ‘Piers you should know me by now that I don’t talk about these things publicly now why would I do that? I would never do that.
‘It’s a legal issue so should never be talked about but it doesn’t matter.’
Susanna explained that she felt it was ‘fair’ they ask as Katie made the comments in a public interview, but Peter then attempted to laugh off the awkwardness by changing the subject and asking: ‘So how are you?’
Katie branded Peter a ‘hypocrite’ (Picture: Rex)
During her GMB interview last week, Katie claimed: ‘I’m doing my reality show at the moment and I’m cheesed off with Pete.
‘When people watch my show they’re going to think, “Where are Junior and Princess?”’
Katie continued: ‘He won’t allow me to film with them, he won’t allow me to do photoshoots with them and he’s been such a hypocrite but unfortunately these days you need both parents’ permission.’
She added: ‘I want to put it out there that he’s really selfish and the kids are missing out on it. I don’t know why he’s doing it.’

‘I’m not crying you’re crying’ the 33-year-old sobbed alongside a promo of the last ever episode of TBBT, also confirming there are just six more instalments to go.
We’re all crying, Kaley, and will be for the next two months.
The actress has been an emotional wreck since CBS confirmed they’d cancelled the sitcom after 12 seasons and more than a decade of Kaley’s life.
‘The crew, all the camera guys and everyone came out and they were like, “We’re so glad you cried, because we’ve been waiting to cry,”’ she admitted when the cast appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, reflecting on a scene with Johnny.
‘And then they all gave us this huge group hug and we all just cried for like 10 minutes.’

On the other end of the spectrum, Jim Parsons, who stars as Sheldon and is thought to have been responsible for the axe, said he’s yet to shed a single tear. But it’s coming.
‘I have a very deep fear — seriously — that the most unexpected thing is going to happen, I’m going to absolutely lose my shit,’ the 44-year-old explained. ‘Cause it really is profound, the amount of time of your life, and it’s, like, more than, I think, any of us can get a grip on.
‘I’m worried something is going to trigger me, like, deep down something is going to be like, “Oh! I didn’t know that was there! That hurts.”’
Other than it’s release date little is known about The Big Bang Theory finale, but it’s looking more and more likely that there will be another big bang baby before we’re out.
The latest episode saw Sheldon suddenly planning babies – loads of babies – with Amy, but is she already pregnant?

Courteney Cox has shared a video of her daughter Coco singing on stage with Snow Patrol – and she’s such the mini Monica.
Taking to Instagram, the Friends star couldn’t resist being one proud mum as she uploaded a clip of the 14-year-old singing along with frontman Gary Lightbody.
The 54-year-old is in a relationship with the band’s drummer Johnny McDaid, and praised the group in her caption.
She wrote: ‘I have overwhelming gratitude towards @garysnowpatrol for sharing his time to perform at @chords2cure.’
The actress added: ‘I just love watching Coco and Gary sing together.’
And it appears her fans did too, as they rushed to the comments in awe of the youngster.
‘She has a beautiful voice! Wow,’ while others added: ‘Aww this is amazing! They sound great together! I wanna see it all.’

In the short clip, the pair can be seen singing the group’s classic hit Chasing Cars, with Lightbody stepping away from his microphone part way through in order to give Coco the full limelight.
Sharing a picture of the duo on their own Instagram account, Chords2Cure said: ‘Crushed it! Thank you to Gary from Snow Patrol for rocking out with these amazing teens…
‘Helping to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research.’
Coco is Courteney’s only child, who she shares with her former husband David Arquette.
The star is currently dating Johnny McDaid, and despite announcing their engagement back in 2014, she recently revealed that the musician is no longer her fiance.

Opening about their romance to Ellen DeGeneres, the actress stated: ‘He’s not my fiance. We broke off our engagement, and he moved to England, then we got back together, and it’s actually better than it was before.’
As it happens, absence made the heart grow fonder for Courteney and her 42-year-old beau, as she went on to reveal that their relationship works best with both of them based in California and London respectively.
The TV star said: ‘Everything’s better. Not because he’s in London — although I think the distance after that breakup, we were apart for six months, that really showed us a lot. It’s just better.’
She later added: ‘I mean, it’s expensive. That’s an expensive relationship. We go back and forth a lot.’
While the couple are blissfully happy now, don’t expect wedding bells to ring anytime soon, as Courteney has previously said she is ‘married in [her] heart’ to the British rocker.

Anthem is facing more problems from the community (Picture: EA)
Anthem’s fortunes appear to be going from bad to worse, with some players now threatening to boycott the game over a recent patch which affects endgame loot.
Last week, a bug was discovered in the sci-fi role-player which drastically increased the rate players earned Masterwork and Legendary-level items. After it was noticed, developer BioWare addressed the bug with their 1.0.3 patch – but it turns out some players were happier when the loot gods were more generous.
One of the most popular posts on the Anthem subreddit, written by Redditor Afinda, states: ‘Protest the loot drop changes. Bring back the bug and let us taste the lootshower.’
The post calls for players to stop playing the game for the whole week, starting 11 March to 15 March, to ‘show BioWare that all it’d take for us to really enjoy the game, is to receive loot’.
Anthem has become a prickly thorn for BioWare (Picture: EA)
The responses on the thread are similarly damning, sharing the same sentiment that more loot drops would provide more motivation to stick with the title.
Anthem’s loot drops have been a consistent problem since the game’s launch, with BioWare having previously addressed some complaints over common and uncommon drops being given to players at level 30.
It seems like these changes are doing little to satisfy players who want a more rewarding endgame though, with Anthem only offering three Strongholds (the equivalent of Destiny’s Strikes) to endlessly repeat for loot once the main campaign is completed.
Coupled with Anthem’s recent reputation for crashing PlayStation 4 consoles, BioWare isn’t exactly providing a welcome incentive to keep the community coming back.

James Jordan is well and truly paying the price for his Dancing On Ice victory and is now set to undergo surgery to fix a nasty arm injury he got as a result.
The Strictly pro lifted the DOI trophy on Sunday night after beating out Wes Nelson and Saara Aalto with his skating partner, Alexandra Schauman, but not before a last minute panic from an injury that could’ve stopped him competing altogether.
‘When I woke up on Sunday morning I said to producers, ‘I’m out. I’m not going to be able to perform because of my shoulder,’ he explained to The Sun.
‘I could not lift my arm. Sharon, the show’s physio, is the only reason I got to perform on the night.’

The newly crowned champion added: ‘I said to her, ‘Do whatever you can to get me through those three dances and I’ll love you forever’, and she did.
‘Now I’m going to need surgery.’
James dislocated his shoulder but despite this managed to perform three final routines, including Torvill and Dean’s Bolero to be declared the victor.
‘I was on painkillers and they also said to me they wanted to put it in the VT and I said no I don’t want it in the VT, this is about the final and Wes and Sara deserved their place there,’ James told This Morning on Monday.
That wasn’t the only injury the celeb suffered at the hands of the ice-rink, with one particularly nasty bout resulted in a hernia being ripped open in the semi-finals.
Dancing On Ice is available to catch up on now on BBC iPlayer.

In the drama, which stars Katherine Kelly and Molly Windsor, Goodman-Hill’s character Adam is tempted from his marriage when a young student seduces him.
The 50-year-old confessed that the role was a form of ‘therapy’.
‘Part of your job is to help people understand what emotions people go through in any given situation so, inevitably, someone who can access it and understand it is going to, perhaps, do that more successfully than someone who can’t,’ he told Radio Times.
Adding that he doesn’t think the part was ‘redemptive’, he explained: ‘That implies some kind of martyrdom. But it is cathartic…and it’s therapeutic.’
The Humans star was married to Kerry Bradley in 2005 but had an affair with Call The Midwife star Jessica Raine in 2013.

He is now married to Jessica and shares two grown up children with his first wife, while Jessica is expecting their first child together.
‘It’s the most exciting time and we’re both thrilled,’ the actor said.
Cheat, which kicked off on Monday night, stars Kelly as university lecturer Leah Dale, who accuses bright student Rose Vaughan, played by Windsor, of cheating in an essay.

Things descend into a battle of wills as both women try to outsmart and outplay each other, with life-changing consequences.
The Diocese of Brooklyn has issued a furious letter on its website, demanding an ‘immediate public apology’ and denouncing the ‘insensitivity of the writers, producers, and the cast of SNL’.
Speaking on the Weekend Update segment with Colin Jost, the 25-year-old said of Kelly: ‘Before I continue, this guy is a monster, and he should go to jail forever. But, if you support the Catholic Church, isn’t that like the same thing as being an R Kelly fan?’
The audience had a mixed reaction, as Pete continued: ‘I don’t really see the difference. Only, like, one’s music is significantly better.
‘The other day, my mom was like, I’m going to mass, and I was like, I’m going to listen to the Ignition remix.’
R Kelly has been accused of sexual abuse against four women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged abuse (Picture: Cook County Sheriff???s Office via AP)
The statement read: ‘The Diocese of Brooklyn is demanding an immediate public apology from “Saturday Night Live” and NBC after Saturday night’s disgraceful and offensive skit in which cast member Pete Davidson, during the Weekend Update segment, said: “If you support the Catholic Church, isn’t that the same thing as being an R. Kelly fan?” The statement clearly shocked the studio audience as gasps could be heard off camera.
‘Apparently, the only acceptable bias these days is against the Catholic Church. The faithful of our Church are disgusted by the harassment by those in news and entertainment, and this sketch offends millions. The mockery of this difficult time in the Church’s history serves no purpose.
‘The clergy sex abuse crisis is shameful, and no one should ever get a laugh at the expense of the victims who have suffered irreparably. The Diocese of Brooklyn strives every day to ensure that sexual abuse by clergy never happens again.’
It continued to point out the work the Catholic Church has done to prevent sexual abuse in the church, after widespread abuse was exposed in a number of reports, including an investigation by The Boston Globe, which was also documented in the movie Spotlight.
Pete compared the Catholic church convictions to the accusations placed against R Kelly (Picture: NBC)
‘For nearly two decades, the Diocese of Brooklyn has taken this crisis seriously and instituted widespread changes mandated by the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.
‘Those changes include a zero-tolerance policy in which any clergy member credibly accused of sexual abuse of a minor is permanently removed from ministry. Since 2002, the Diocese of Brooklyn has shared all of its files and allegations against clergy with the District Attorneys of Brooklyn and Queens. In 2004, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio instituted a reporting line that sends reports directly to law enforcement authorities. The charter also mandates sexual abuse awareness training for all clergy members, teachers, parish/academy/school employees, catechists and volunteers who work directly with children. Employees and volunteers also must agree to initial and ongoing criminal background checks and must sign a code of conduct.
‘To help victims, the Office of Victim Assistance provides referrals for therapy, support groups for survivors and an annual Healing Mass to pray for all who have been impacted by sexual abuse. The diocese also started the Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Program as another possible mechanism for healing that may help bring closure to victim-survivors of clergy sexual abuse.
‘It is likely that no other institution has done more than the Catholic Church to combat and prevent sexual abuse. The insensitivity of the writers, producers, and the cast of SNL around this painful subject is alarming.’
SNL have yet to issue an apology for Pete’s comments.
While the NBC show rarely issues apologies for jokes, Davidson did apologise to Liutenant Commander Dan Crenshaw, who lost an eye in combat, last year after he joked about his eye patch.
Mocking the congressional candidate, the comedian said: ‘This guy is kinda cool. … You may be surprised to hear he’s a congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie. I’m sorry, I know he lost his eye in war, or whatever.’
Crenshaw was invited on the show the following week, with Pete saying: ‘In what I’m sure was a huge shock for people who know me, I made a poor choice last week. If any good came of this, maybe it was that for one day, the left and the right finally came together to agree on something: that I’m a dick!’

However, Aaron – who stayed with Michael at the Neverland ranch at the age of 15 – insisted that his experience with the Billie Jean singer was ‘gentle, beautiful, loving and embracing’.
In a video posted by TMZ on Tuesday morning, Aaron said: ‘Neverland was incredible. I had the time of my life with Michael. I was about 15 years old, I had the time of my life.’

New HBO documentary Leaving Neverland interviews both Wade, and a second accuser James Safechuck, along with their families about claims Michael sexually assaulted the two of them as children.
On Monday, a Twitter account posing as ‘Wade Robson Creations’ responded to claims that Wade was a ‘liar’ and tweeted back: ‘I’m not alone, you ask @aaroncarter.’
The account has now been removed – Wade’s lawyer said the accounts were posing as the choreographer and are fake.
Yet Aaron is not happy that his name is now part of the conversation.
He told TMZ: ‘Wade, I’m very disappointed in you because I don’t understand why he’s trying to tie my name into this shit.
‘If you come at me with this shit – you’re lucky I’ve got something to lose now – because I would punch you in the face.’
Aaron confirmed that he stayed at Michael’s house, and in his bedroom, at the Neverland ranch when he was a teenager but denies that Michael did anything other than give him career guidance and support.
The popstar said he couldn’t understand Wade’s claims against MJ, adding: ‘How am I supposed to understand that when my own experience of him was gentle and beautiful and loving?’
Robson’s lawyer responded to Aaron’s comments and told TMZ that the tweet taking aim at him was ‘not posted by Wade’.
They claim Robson has been targeted by ‘several fraudulent postings and hackings’ since Leaving Neverland was broadcast on TV.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to reps for Aaron and Robson.
And while some have remained in touch – with others having the occasional reunion – it seems the Hvitserk star is pining over his faux Nordic pals.
Taking to Instagram, the 24-year-old uploaded an old picture of himself sat next to his two on-screen brothers Alex Høgh Andersen and Jordan Patrick Smith.
Having no words to say for the caption, the actor allowed the snap to do the talking – however, his co-stars couldn’t help but comment.
Writing to their fellow warrior Alex, who plays Ivar The Boneless, remarked: ‘Still one of my favourite photos.’
Jordan, who takes the role of Ubbe, joked about his appearance, as he added: ‘I look,’ before inserting the okay hand emoji.

Jung Joon Young has been accused of sharing illegal hidden camera footage in a chatroom with celebrity friends.
The 30-year-old is returning to Korea from the US to cooperate with a police investigation, which alleges he shared illegally recorded footage in a chatroom on numerous occasions.
The report alleges that conversations dating back to late 2015 were discovered through a restored Excel file, and saw a man, believed to be Jung Joon Young, telling a friend he had had sex, before uploading a three second clip of the act which was secretly recorded.

The singer and TV personality also allegedly shared a clip of himself in ‘close contact’ with a waitress.
According to SBS, 10 people were illegally filmed, with other celebrities also sharing footage.
A rep from Jung Joon Young’s agency told Soompi: ‘Jung Joon Young did not confirm, nor deny these reports. He is currently filming in the United States. We will issue a statement as he returns to Korea.’
No charges have been made against Jung Joon Young.
In the wake of the allegations, the star’s appearance at the Beautiful Mint Life 2019 festival has been cancelled, with the festival saying: ‘Jung Joon Young’s appearance, which was scheduled for May 12, has been canceled at the request of his agency.’
Jung Joon Young has also been removed from KBSE’s 2 Days and 1 Night, as well as tvN’s 4 Wheeled Restaurant and Salty Tour.
The allegations against Jung Joon Young emerged as part of a separate investigation into Seungri, who is a suspect in an investigation into escorts being provided for sexual favours for foreign investors and VIP clients.
