Olly Murs is making his acting debut as Spike the pooch in Disney’s 101 Dalmatians (Picture: Disney)
Olly Murs is starring alongside an illustrious cast of some of Britain’s finest actors in the new animated series of 101 Dalmatians.
The notorious troublemaker – who has been sliding into Elizabeth Hurley’s DMs (!) – will be voicing a Cornish Doberman called Spike for two instalments of Disney’s star-studded new cartoon, alongside Miriam Margoyles, Stephen Mangan, Paloma Faith and rapper, actor and all around oracle, Ben Smith.
The latest carnation of 101 Dalmatians kicks off next week, inspired by the 1956 novel by Dodie Smith and subsequent animated Disney film. It was also turned into a live action movie starring Glenn Close as the villainous Cruella De Vil in 1996, which was an absolute ride, to be honest.
‘I’ve never done anything like this before,’ enthused Olly. ‘It was exciting to be a part of, and I hope to do it again.
‘It’s something I’ve always been passionate about, doing acting or voiceovers.’
He continued: ‘The weird thing is, I was more nervous doing the voiceover than I am when I’m performing in front of 15,000 people at the O2 Arena. That’s how weird it was.
‘When I’m singing in front of my fans, they love me and I love them; going out there and singing is my favourite thing, it’s the best part of my job.
Olly’s juggling The Voice and his new acting career (Picture: ITV)
‘But when I did the voiceover for Disney, I was so nervous because I’ve never done anything like this before.
‘I’ve always thought I’d be great in an animated show or a film, but I’d never been directed in what to show or how to do things like this.’
The chart-topper – who found fame on The X Factor – admitted he was nervous taking on his very first acting role.
‘I was like, “Can I do this? Are they going to be happy with it? Are they going to re-write it after I leave, thinking it was rubbish?”
“You just don’t know. But ultimately I think it went well, so I’m happy.’
101 Dalmatians premieres on Disney Channel on March 18 at 5pm.

The charge sheet for Katie’s court appearance accuses her of using ‘threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress’.
Katie was slammed by a judge for having a lack of respect (Picture: Backgrid)
However, Katie did not show for the hearing today, and was yesterday pictured in Thailand enjoying a boxing session.
District Judge Amanda Kelly slammed the reality star, saying: I believe she hasn’t turned up today. She has something better to do.
‘This demonstrates a lack of respect for the court process.’
Katie is holidaying with on-off boyfriend Kris (Picture: Backgrid)
The mum-of-five was pictured dressed in a black best and colourful shorts as she worked out in the sun with Kris and a kickboxing trailer.
Katie was all smiles as she and Kris, 30, trained on their holiday, after jetting off last week.
The reality star left her kids Princess and Junior with their father Peter Andre, Jett and Bunny with dad Kieran Hayler, and eldest son Harvey with a friend to enjoy the sun-soaked vacation.
Michelle accused Katie of screaming at her outside the school gates (Picture: Instagram)
Katie’s court hearing today was in relation to allegations made against her by her ex’s new girlfriend.
Michelle, whose son attends the same school as Katie and Kieran’s kids Jett, 5, and Bunny, 4, claims that Katie caused a scene by allegedly screaming at her: ‘Are you enjoying fucking my husband?’
Kieran’s girlfriend reported the incident to police and two more parents reportedly complained about Katie to the authorities for shouting and swearing at them.
An insider told The Sun: ‘One woman got a mouthful off Katie for standing up for Michelle and the other was sworn at by Katie, after excluding her from a parent meet-up off school grounds.’
Liam Neeson back on red carpet for The White Crow premiere after racist comment (Picture: Getty Images)
Liam Neeson took some time out of the limelight after he confessed he once wanted to ‘kill a black man.’
However, it looks as though the star has finally come out of hiding following his controversial comment, as he was spotted at The White Crow’s UK premiere.
Dressed in a blue suit, the star appeared to be in high spirits as he smiled at the camera while posing for pictures at the London event.
While appearing to arrive solo, the 66-year-old was later joined by his on and off girlfriend Freya St Johnston.
When chatting to the Independent earlier this year, the Taken actor said: ‘My immediate reaction was… I asked, did she know who it was? No. What colour were they? She said it was a black person.

The star revealed he wanted to take revenge after hearing his friend was raped by a black man (Picture: Getty Images)
‘I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I’d be approached by somebody – I’m ashamed to say that – and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some [Neeson gestures air quotes with his fingers] “black bastard” would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could… kill him.’
However, after the shocking comments, the Irish actor insisted he’s not racist, telling Robin Roberts on Good Morning America: ‘We were doing a press junket and the topic of the film is revenge, it’s a dark comedy too.
‘The lady journalist was asking me how I tap into that and I remembered an incident nearly 40 years ago where a very dear friend of mine was brutally raped.
‘I had never felt this feeling before which was a primal urge to lash out.’
He failed to make his own film’s premiere for Cold Pursuit (Picture: Getty Images)
Liam had been in New York promoting his new film when he faced a public storm.
He spoke to Robin Roberts on Tuesday’s Good Morning America but then refused to address the comments again that afternoon, in a chat with Ryan Seacrest.
It made an incredible $3.6 million (£2.7 million) alone on the day of the actor’s shocking comments, and also stars Laura Dern, Micheál Richardson, and Michael Eklund.

Tanya, 29, confirmed the news on her Instagram story, writing: ‘Just wanted to let you all know that a few weeks ago Jim and I made the painful decision to no longer be together.
‘We have a huge amount of love and respect for each other and will continue to remain friends forever.
‘Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this difficult time.’
Jim, 31, shared a similar statement, saying: ‘We will continue to support one another in all of our ventures and are both looking forward to what the future holds’.
Fans of the couple have been left devastated by the news, with YouTube viewers never knowing Tanya and Jim as singletons.
How Tanya and Jim first met
Tanya and Jim have been dating since 2007, having went to the same sixth form school in Norwich.
And it was at a party of one of Jim’s best friends that he first got chatting to his future wife.
Tanya and Jim started dating in 2007 (Picture: Instagram)
Speaking to the Wymondham and Attleborough Mercury, the vlogger said: ‘She went to a party of one of my best friends, who she had a crush on. She turned up really early, well, on time, because she didn’t know how student parties worked.
‘I recognised her because we’d been to the same 6th form. We got chatting and I felt like I was flirting outrageously. She felt she had made a new gay best friend!’
Still, sparks flew and the pair got together soon after, with their first date taking place at the local cinema.
YouTube fame
Tanya was working at the beauty counter at Jarrold’s in Norwich when she took a leaf out of Jim’s sister Samantha Chapman’s book and decided to launch her own YouTube channel.
After initially showing subscribers how to recreate celebrity beauty looks, Tanya branched out into fashion, style and baking – and now has 3.5 million subscribers.
Jim has 2.3 million subscribers himself, but made the choice to scale back on the personal content he shares and his appearances in Tanya’s videos.
Speaking to Newsbeat in 2017, he said he felt they were ‘sharing a bit too much of us just living’, adding: ‘People do think they know everything about us, but actually in my videos they see 10 minutes of a 24-hour day.’
Jim comes from a family of vloggers – his sisters Samantha and Nicola are the women behind pixiwoo, and are the creators of Real Techniques make-up brushes; while his twin brother John is the co-creator of the Lean Machines channel.
Their lavish wedding
For a couple whose lives were splashed out over YouTube, Tanya and Jim did a good job hiding their wedding.
They got engaged in New York in December 2012, and tied the knot four years later on 3 September 2015, at Babington House in Somerset.
The wedding was attended by fellow YouTubers Zoella and Alfie Deyes, and Tanya broke the happy news on 6 September as she shared a picture of the bride and groom kissing with the caption: ‘We did it!’
Jim later explained why they kept their wedding under wraps: ‘I just think we wanted our wedding to be very intimate, very private.
‘We share so much of our lives, and we wanted a day where we could just turn everything off. I didn’t even have my phone on me. It was actually really nice, just to have a day with me and my wife and our really close friends and family.’
Married life
Tanya and Jim lived out their four years of married life in their £4 million townhouse in London, accompanied by their Daschund Martha.
While both in their late twenties and early thirties respectively, they had previously spoken about starting a family together.
Jim and Tanya were parents of very good dog Martha (Picture: Instagram)
Jim said that were they to have children, he would not immediately launch them into the world of vlogging, saying: ‘I’m not going to make them the centre of attention on my channel. They didn’t ask for that. They might not want to be famous, when they’re seven, or 27.
‘We are a very normal couple. We just have very odd jobs.’

Our coffee loving pals will probably never make a comeback (Picture: NBCU/Getty)
In our heart of hearts, we probably already knew this, but Friends creator Martha Kauffman has officially shut down any idea of the show making a comeback.
It’s been 14 years off the air and still it’s one of the biggest series in the world, but the leading cast have always played coy about their potential return.
So despite their love of the show, and the odd mini social reunion here and there, Martha says its for the best that the series ended in 2004 and stays that way.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, Martha explained: ‘There are several reasons. One, the show is about a time in your life when your friends are your family. It’s not that time anymore.
‘All we’d be doing is putting those six actors back together, but the heart of the show would be gone.’
Our face when we heard the sad news (Picture: NBC)
And the other reason? She said: ‘I don’t know what good it does us. The show is doing just fine, people love it. [A reunion] could only disappoint. “The One Where Everyone’s Disappointed.”’
To be fair, she has a point – remember the disaster of when The Inbetweeners did a reunion last Christmas?
Despite no new episodes coming any time soon, Friends fam have more than enough to keep them going thanks to social media and the show’s continuous success.
FriendsFest is returning to the UK later this year for another immersive experience for fans (we’re talking dancing by sofas with yellow umbrellas and drinking coffee in Central Perk.
Courteney Cox, who played Monica Gellar on the show, has been getting a twinge of nostalgia too – sharing photos of her co-stars Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston from back in the day and even changing her profile picture to the show’s ‘fat Monica’ phase.
During a recent furniture reshuffle in her home, Courteney also couldn’t resist demanding her helpers to PIVOT as they wiggled a table down a narrow hallway.
Basically, she’s still the Friends OG fan, and no one can ever take that away from her.
Friends seasons 1-10 are available on Netflix now, and airs daily on Comedy Central.

Keira’s secret talent is pretty amazing (Picture: NBC / Backgrid)
Keira Knightley is apparently a woman many weird secret talents. The British actress surprised Jimmy Fallon last night by demonstrating how she can play Despacito on her teeth.
During her interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 33-year-old actress was asked if she had any hidden talents, to which she casually dropped in that she can play her teeth.
In case you were wondering, the art consists of tapping your teeth. That is all.
Explaining how she learned this nifty little party trick, Keira told Fallon: ‘There was a boy at school when I was about seven or eight and he went on a talent show on TV, so he was like the coolest person ever, and he played his teeth.
‘So, everybody at my school was like, that’s cool, so everybody from that school can probably play their teeth.’
Erm, we’re going to need some answers Keira…
Of course, she had to give a little taster of her craft and first dazzled the audience with Raindrops Keep Falling My Head.
But the Love Actually star is no one-trick pony as it turns out she’s got a whole catalogue of songs she can play.
Give the woman a talent show.
At Fallon’s request, Keira began playing Despacito and, admittedly, it was pretty incredible.
It’s actually not the first time Keira’s revealed her secret talent as she performed Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head on The Graham Norton Show in January.
Elsewhere in her chat with Fallon, Keira opened up on life as a mother and what happens when she’s had a little too much wine and has to play with her daughter Edie.
Keira revealed: ‘We’re really deep into Paw Patrol but it’s like toddler crack which is kind of a good thing because you go, “Oh, it’s Saturday night”, and maybe you’ve had a couple more glasses of wine than you should have, and Sunday, Paw Patrol is absolutely amazing.’

A new What If series is apparently coming to Disney+ (Picture: Marvel/Metro)
Marvel is developing a new TV series based on the What If comic book series, according to reports.
The popular series twisted canon by having each issue pose a different reality within the Marvel universe, asking questions of what If Spider-Man joined Fantastic Four or what If Captain America hadn’t vanished during World War Two?
According to SlashFilm, Marvel is now developing an animated series, overseen by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, based on the concept for upcoming streaming service Disney+.
Interestingly, the new series will apparently toy with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although the series won’t be included in MCU canon.
What If will pose some big questions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Picture: Marvel)
It could lead to a variety of fun scenarios, with one idea reportedly already in development asking the question of ‘What if Loki had found the hammer of Thor?’
It’s claimed the idea of it being an animated series would allow the original actors from the MCU to provide voice roles too, considering it’s less of a time commitment.
It sounds like an excellent idea which could offer a light reprieve from the overflowing MCU, especially following the dimension-breaking success of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse which recently bagged an Oscar.
But what questions could be asked? What if Star-Lord never punched Thanos in the face in Avengers: Infinity War? What if Iron Man and Captain America settled Civil War with a pancake breakfast? The possibilities are endless.
The What If series offers different realities (Picture: Marvel)
Marvel has a number of shows in the pipeline for Disney’s new streaming service, including shows based on Loki, Scarlet Witch, Falcon and Winter Soldier.
These shows are also set to have a major impact on the MCU, kicking off a new phase following Avengers: Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame releases in cinemas on 25 April.
Speculation peaked yesterday (12 March) after a listing for the highly-anticipated battle pass was uploaded and swiftly deleted from the EA Origin store, appearing to confirm the pass, titled Welcome To The Wild Frontier, would be released that day.
Respawn has since addressed these leaks in a post on Reddit, stating how some of the information dug up by dataminers is ‘very old’ and shouldn’t necessarily be trusted.
A picture of claimed new Legend Octane appeared briefly on the Origin store (Picture: EA)
The post reads: ‘So between the datamining and the unintentional update about Season 1 on Origin today, there’s been a lot of speculation and confusion so we wanted to give some clarity.
‘We’ll be providing details on Season 1, Battle Pass, and the next Legend very soon. It’s not coming out today [12 March].’
They added: ‘There’s lots of stuff that has been datamined from Apex since launch and is swirling around the Internet. We know this stuff is fun to dig up and speculate about, but you should not treat any of that info as a source of truth.
‘There’s stuff in there that is very old, or things we’ve tried in the past and cut – remember our design process is to prototype and play lots of ideas – and some of it may be things we’re still building for Apex Legends.’
‘Finding this stuff by no means confirms that it’ll ever come out. At best you should treat any post about this as a rumour and the real info will come from us when we’re ready to show off what’s coming next,’ added the post.
While it’s largely stating the obvious, it’s a refreshing direct approach for a developer to make in managing expectations around leaks.
The battle pass for Apex Legends was previously confirmed to be arriving at some point in March, so details around its release certainly can’t be too far off.
Apex Legends is available now, for free, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
YouTube star Tanya Burr (Picture: Stephane Cardinale – Corbis/Corbis via Getty Images)
After 12 years together, vlogger Tanya Burr and her soon-to-be-ex-husband and fellow-YouTuber Jim Chapman have announced their split to the world.
The pair got hitched in 2015, having first started dating way back in 2007.
Burr announced the break-up by saying: ‘Just wanted to let you all know that a few weeks ago Jim and I made the painful decision to no longer be together.
‘‘We have a huge amount of love and respect for each other and will continue to remain friends forever.
‘Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this difficult time.’
As we’re confronted with yet more proof that love is dead, here’s everything you need to know about Tayna’s online career, because even when romantic plans might not have turned out the way people may have wanted, professional success is still worth celebrating.
Tayna Burr’s YouTube career
Burr, 29, is a British YouTuber and actress with over 3.5 million subscribers to her channel.
She was born in June 1989 in Norfolk, England and after she finished school, she studied to be a makeup artist.
This led to her getting a job at the Jarrold’s department store beauty counter in her home town.
In 2009, while still working at Jarrold’s, Burr started her YouTube channel.
This move was prompted by the advice of her future-sister-in-law Samantha Chapman, who is also a famous makeup artist with over 2 million subscribers to her YouTube channel – Pixiwoo, which has make-up tutorials that she films with her sister Nicola.
Two years after Tanya Burr started her own channel, she was able to leave her day job to focus on her online career.
Many of Burr’s earlier videos give instructions on how to do your make-up like various celebrities, and since then, she has collaborated with other popular YouTubers like Zoella, Joe Sugg and Tyler Oakley.
In 2014, she launched her own cosmetics brand through Superdrug called Tayna Burr Cosmetics, and she’s written three books so far with the help of ghostwriters: Tanya Bakes, Tanya’s Christmas and Love, Tanya.
Burr has also made a few small acting appearances including a part in the 2017 short film Disconnect, as well as playing the role of Ella in a revival of Judy Upton’s play Confidence in 2018.
Nowadays, in addition to her millions of YouTube subscribers, she also has over 3 million followers on Twitter and Instagram.
Loughlin’s husband Giannulli Mossimo was also arrested and later released on a $1m bail bond. Huffman’s husband, actor William H Macy, was not arrested or detained.
Here’s what we know about the case so far.
What have Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin been accused of?
The pair are among around 40 influential figures facing charges in connection with alleged payments made of up to $6m used to get children into prestigious US schools including Yale, Stanford, USC and Georgetown.
Huffman is reportedly accused of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
Huffman was arrested and later released on bail (Picture: WireImage)
She is alleged to have made a charitable donation of $15,000 (£11K) that authorities allege helped their eldest daughter get into college.
According to the indictment most of the children involved had no idea about what was allegedly going on. The colleges themselves are not accused of being involved.
Huffman and Macy have two daughters – Sofia, 18, and 16-year-old Georgia – although it’s reported that Huffman decided against plans to pursue the same arrangement for the younger of her two children.
Loughlin and her husband Giannulli allegedly agreed to pay bribes totalling $500,000 to get their two daughters onto the USC crew team – with reports alleging that even though they did not participate, it may have ‘facilitated their admission’ to the college.
The actress is married to actor William H Macy, who was not indicted (Picture: NBC)
The alleged scam centres on a Californian man who allegedly set up a not for profit organisation which allegedly helps students get into the college of their choice by paying off sports coaches or exam administrators.
Student reportedly have no knowledge of their parents’ involvement in most of the cases.

Amanda Seyfried and Jamie Oliver are just two of the countless celebrities who have spread some Disney magic for Red Nose Day.
The stars were joined by the likes of Nadiya Hussain, Gareth Southgate, Lewis Hamilton and Jodie Kidd to raise both awareness and funds for Comic Relief.
Posing in front of the camera, the A-listers beamed as they rocked a huge collection of Mickey Mouse merchandise.
While sporting some of the much loved character’s ears, Amanda could be seen showing off the new TK Maxx Ts, which have been launched especially for the charity.
Being a little bit ‘too cool’ for the Disney headband, Jamie Oliver stood with his wife Jools in Mickey aprons, along with Nadiya Hussain who was also appropriately dressed in the cooking garment.
The images were shot by photographer Greg Williams, with the range featuring some of the most iconic characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Eeyore and Goofy.

Up to 40 influential figures, including Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, have been indicted in connection with payments of up to $6million used to get children into schools including Yale, Stanford, Georgetown and USC.
And in the wake of Lori’s alleged involvement, the Full House actress’s daughter Olivia Jade’s comments on education have come to light.
The 19-year-old, who is a freshman at the University of Southern California, previously told her YouTube subscribers that she didn’t care about her education, and was more concerned with partying.
Awkward.
Olivia Jade Giannulli has 1.9 million subscribers, and in a video posted six months ago, she admitted she wasn’t sure about how many classes she would actually attend.
The teenager said: ‘I’m gonna be attending college and I’ll still be working on YouTube. I’m living in a dorm with a roommate. My first week of school, I’m leaving to go to Fiji for work, and I’ll be in New York a bunch [of times] this year for work.
‘I don’t know how much of school I’m gonna attend but I’m gonna go in and talk to my deans and everyone, and hope that I can try and balance it all.
‘But I do want the experience of like game days, partying…I don’t really care about school, as you guys all know.’
Many viewers weren’t impressed with Olivia’s comments, with one person commenting: ‘You can tell she’s spoiled by her intentions with school. Some people would give anything for a college education and she’s just going for game days and parties.’
And another comment read: ‘ love you but it bothered me so much when you said you don’t care about school but the game days and stuff why go to college and not care about your studies? That’s the whole point of college (getting an education).’
Olivia later apologised, saying: ‘I said something super ignorant and stupid, basically. And it totally came across that I’m ungrateful for college — I’m going to a really nice school. And it just kind of made it seem like I don’t care, I just want to brush it off. I’m just gonna be successful at YouTube and not have to worry about school. I’m really disappointed in myself.
‘I’m sorry for anyone I offended by saying that. I know it’s a privilege and a blessing and I’m really grateful.’
Olivia did decide to use her time at college for content – posting videos of getting ready for college parties, filming a tour of her dorm room and explaining how she keeps fit at college.
The influencer also had some college-related #spon posts, after Amazon kitted out her dorm room.
Olivia wrote on Instagram: ‘Officially a college student! It’s been a few weeks since I moved into my dorm and I absolutely love it. I got everything I needed from Amazon with @primestudent and had it all shipped to me in just two-days. #ad #primestudent #allonamazon.’
Unsurprisingly, Olivia’s comments across social media are generally about her mum and her alleged involvement in the bribery scam.
Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 (£370,000) to have their daughters Olivia and Isabella designated as members of the USC rowing team, which was allegedly not true.
According to court documents, the couple ‘agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC’.

Gordon Ramsay has told Piers Morgan to ‘go f**k himself’ and admits that he has embraced creating vegan style meals.
The TV chef had previously made no secret of the fact that he was not a supporter of the vegan diet, and was a proud meat-eater (basically, GMB’s Piers in chef whites).
However, speaking on the Late Late Show with James Corden, Gordon was called out for suddenly showing off his vegan roasts – and his carnivore brother-in-arms Piers was far from happy about it.
Late night host James shared a tweet from Gordon, in which he declared his London restaurant the Bread Street Kitchen had started a ‘Roast Revolution’ and launched a completely vegan roast dinner.

Piers responded: ‘Oh FFS Ramsay… no you as well? This looks utterly revolting’ – cementing his point with a couple of puking emojis for good measure.
Given the opportunity to respond, Gordon laughed off the comment and said: ‘So Piers Morgan is now a food critic?! Go and f*** yourself! Seriously?! Really?!’
Admitting his previous criticism on veganism is wrong, the Hell’s Kitchen host added: ‘Vegan is on the rise, we’ve got to adapt and eat a slice of humble pie.’
Who would’ve thought they’d see the day!?
Unfortunately for Piers, it means he’s one of the last men standing for speaking out against the vegan trend, refusing to accept it and starting a war on vegan sausage rolls once they launched at Greggs.
Good Morning Britain host Piers couldn’t stand a vegan English breakfast with fake rashers of bacon on the show, where he frequently discusses the dietary choice.

It then flashes back to Manson meeting the women for the first time.

Simon Cowell has revealed he is on the Eric Cowell diet.
Named after his son, the music mogul has said he has made a number of lifestyle changes since the birth of five-year-old Eric, including cutting out dairy, sugar and gluten.
His healthy eating regime does include alcohol though.
‘Eric actually eats all his raw vegetables,’ says Simon (Picture: Backgrid)
‘I went to see this guy who’s very well-known. And he said to me, after doing some blood work, “You can’t have red meat, dairy, sugar, bread or gluten.” I’m thinking, “What about alcohol?” And he said, “Maybe not quite as much as you had before.” And I did it and I stuck to it and it’s easy,’ said the 59-year-old.
‘Apart from ice cream, [Eric] actually likes water, eats all his raw vegetable. I’m on the Eric Cowell diet,’ he added, speaking to Extra and calling the youngster a ‘sweetheart’.
It was recently claimed Simon had shed 7lbs on his new diet.
‘Simon was feeling a bit run down, so someone suggested he see a specialist about food tolerances. The specialist revealed he is allergic to a few everyday things which had been making him tired,’ a source said.

‘As a result, he has cut out lots from his diet and the impact has been almost immediate,’ the insider added.
‘He has loads of energy. He’s found it really tough to cut out a lot of things he used to love eating, like sausage rolls. But he can’t believe the change it’s had in such a short space of time.
‘He’s looking and feeling great at the moment, the best he has in years. He has a real spring in his step, which everyone around him has noticed.’

Christine Baranski will be in The Big Bang Theory finale! (Picture: CBS)
She’s back! Christine Baranski will be reprising her role as Leonard’s mother in The Big Bang Theory finale.
The 66-year-old heroine is a firm fan favourite as Beverly Hofstadter, Leonard’s unbearably picky mother who we still can’t believe didn’t spawn Sheldon, to be honest.
In fact, she would have been back sooner if The Good Fight didn’t get in the way.
‘There were many episodes where I couldn’t show up in L.A. because of The Good Fight so I’ve actually Skyped episodes from my producer’s office in Brooklyn,’ Christine told Entertainment Tonight Canada.
‘I just sit on a box and they set up a computer and it’s great because that relationship between Beverly and Leonard’s mother, they would have a Skype relationship. I’ve Skyped about five episodes and I feel like that’s my future if I want to age as an actress.’
So you can blame Leonard’s distant relationship with Bev on The Good Fight!
The 43-year-old has starred as Leonard for 13 years, so waving goodbye to the sitcom and its cast is ‘very surreal’, he explained on Instagram.
Breaking the news to his 2.7 million followers, he wrote: ‘273 episodes filmed. 26 days left on the Big Bang stage. ‘6 episodes to be filmed. 66 days until the 1 hour finale airs. All VERY surreal. Much ❤️ to all the fans.’
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS in the US and E4 in the UK.

Daniel Radcliffe drenched in sweat as he plays prisoner on the run (Picture: Rex)
Daniel Radcliffe is a far cry from the boy who lived in his upcoming movie Escape from Pretoria.
The 29-year-old returned to filming earlier this week, and was spotted sporting long wispy hair and a scruffy beard as he took on the role of anti-apartheid activist Tim Jenkins.
Dashing through the streets of Adelaide in Australia, the Harry Potter star could be seen dressed in a blue shirt and beige trousers as he brought Jenkins’ story to life.
Back in the late 70s, the convict was locked up in Pretoria’s Maximum Security prison, however managed to escape in 1979.
And now Daniel aims to retell the thrilling tale in he latest drama, which is based on Jenkins’ biography Inside Out: Escape From Pretoria Prison.
In the snaps, the actor can be seen drenched in sweat as he flees the city.

He’s then seen taking a well earned break with the camera crew, before getting back to work under the blaring sun.
In the pictures, Daniel walked to a police van, with shackles around his wrists and ankles.
He also rocked a pair of specs for the scene, which are far away from his usual Potter glasses, as they sat frame-less on his nose.
He claimed his beard has had mixed reactions (Picture: Rex)
Jenkin was arrested and charged with ‘producing and distributing 18 different pamphlets on behalf of banned organisations’, including the South African Communist Party and African National Congress.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 12 years in prison – however, Jenkin broke out of prison with fellow inmates Alex Moumbaris and Stephen Lee using handmade keys.
Daniel has clearly attempted to take on his appearance, however claims the beard, which he grew for the TV series Miracle Workers, has had mixed reactions.
Chatting to The Mirror, he said: ‘They’re like, “What’s happened to him?” Like they think I have fallen on hard times, or something.
‘But I like any excuse to be told not to shave for a few months, it’s great. Without a little bit of stubble I just look like a very tired child.’
Although a release date is yet to be revealed for the movie, filming only started three weeks ago and is set to continue over the coming month.
Tanya’s career could benefit greatly from her sudden split from Jim Chapman (Picture: Rex)
YouTube star’s Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman’s decision to split could ultimately work out for the best for the pair’s careers, insiders have claimed.
After a 12-year relationship and four-year marriage, Tanya and Jim’s reign as the Posh and Becks of the internet came to an end on Tuesday, with separate statements vowing they would remain close friends amid rumours they had simply ‘grown apart’.
While the wound is clearly still fresh for both of them, it could prove to have positive effects in the long-term, with business insiders revealing that Tanya in particular could now be freed up to relaunch a career in the spotlight.
Speaking about what could happen next for the pair, the insider told Metro.co.uk: ‘The divorce announcement and the reaction from press and their fans is the best piece of publicity the couple have had together, and separately, over the last year. It’s given them a revival.
‘Both Jim and Tanya’s YouTube and more main stream careers have been in decline, with dwindling views, engagements and less interest from brands. This will have put pressure on their relationship.’
The fashion couple could rebrand themselves in the wake of their split (Picture: Getty)
‘What this break now provides is an opportunity to reinvent themselves and to relaunch their personal brands – Tanya with her acting and Jim with his modelling,’ they added.
As two of the original success stories of YouTube, Tanya and Jim have both created careers from vlogging their life online – with millions of fans tuning in for their make-up and lifestyle tutorials that afforded them a wider career.
Jim has since become a presenter and model, launching a stationery company and a leather bag collection.
Tanya turned herself into a fashionista, representing herself at Paris Fashion Week and launching collections with well-known brands.
Tanya made her West End debut at the Southwark Playhouse last year (Picture: Rex)
She’s also tried to forge a career for herself as an actor, getting mixed reviews for play Confidence at Southwark Playhouse last year, and a confirmed appearance in the upcoming Red Nose Day Four Weddings And A Funeral reboot.
But according to numbers aggregate SocialBlade, the pair’s numbers have steadily been in decline, and in the past month alone, Jim has lost 10,500 subs and Tanya 11,800, as their uploads become less regular.
‘It’s likely that Tanya will focus on her acting career in LA, being single opens her up to so many opportunities away from her YouTuber roots,’ our source added. ‘I’d expect to see her back on the dating scene very soon, no doubt with an up-and-coming US based actor to help boost her traditional profile.’
But while the future looks bright for Tanya, things might prove to be a bit harder for Jim.
‘We’re likely to see Jim focus on his modelling and writing commitments,’ they added.
‘He has the biggest challenge in trying to reinvent his brand and personality away from Tanya.’
