Celebrity Juice’s Keith Lemon wasted no time in rinsing Emily Atack for losing out on the team captain job to Paddy McGuinness in the show’s upcoming episode.

The funnyman, real name Leigh Francis, poked fun at the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star for being overlooked as Fearne Cotton’s replacement, by setting up Paddy’s buzzer to say ‘Emily Atack’s team’ every time he pushed it.

‘That’s before we decided to go with you [Paddy],’ Keith laughed.

Emily, who joined Holly Willoughby’s team for the evening, took the joke on the chin, laughing: ‘I was wondering when that little elephant in the room was going to crop up.’

Good thing Anne Hegerty wasn’t there, otherwise she might have torn into Keith.

Fearne stepped down for the show last year after 10 years, opening up the search for her replacement.

During the quest for a new team captain, Emily expressed her interest, telling This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that it’s her ‘dream job,’ however her dreams were dashed when Paddy was revealed to be taking over the Radio DJ’s role last month.

But Emily gracefully accepted the snub and said she’s more than happy to make an appearance on the comedy panel, telling Daily Star Sunday: ‘I’d love to be part of the show, but nothing was discussed.’

She joined Take That’s Howard Donald, John Barrowman, and TV presenter and original Essex boy Mark Wright for the first episode of the brand new series.

But Emily was never in line for Fearne’s spot with Keith explaining that Paddy was always going to have the job.

‘Me and Holly met up to discuss who would take over and we just agreed immediately that it had to be Paddy,’ he said.

‘She’s really good mates with him and while she’s my TV sister, Paddy’s my TV brother. I think it’s great because if we’d have got another girl there would have been too many comparisons with Fearne.’

He also spilled that it was easy to get Paddy onto the show, saying: ‘When I asked him at the TV Choice Awards last year I said, “do you fancy coming and doing Juice with us?” and he was like, “yeah, cool!”, and that was it.

‘We just had to work out schedules to see if it was possible because he’s also doing Top Gear. Once he knew he could, that was it.’

Jamie Redknapp and ex-wife Louise split in 2017, after 19 years together.

Despite their break-up, the former footballer’s dad, Harry Redknapp, revealed he still loves the Strictly Come Dancing star, and makes sure he keeps in touch with her family.

During an appearance on Heart Breakfast Show, he told hosts Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin: ‘I mean, I love Lou, and I was sad when it all went wrong. I really was.

‘I mean me and Sandra absolutely loved her and her mum is still great – she knows Sandra talks to her mum all the time, Lynne – she’s lovely. So yeah it was sad, but that’s life innit. What can you do?

‘These things happen, don’t they?’

Jamie and Louise have been met with constant rumours about their respective love lives since calling time on their relationship, and have both been linked to a string of famous faces.

However, the pair – who share sons Charley and Beau together – have kept things quiet on the romance front.

When asked how Jamie was adapting to single life, the 72-year-old added: ‘I dunno. I’ll leave it to his mum. She asks him them questions I don’t get involved.

‘I sort of try to avoid it. I just let him get on with it. What can I do now you know? I know he talks to his mum about things. I say, “What is he up to, anything?” “No”. She won’t tell me.’

Harry previously opened up about his son’s relationship breaking down, admitting the whole thing was ‘a big blow’ to their family.

In a candid chat with The Sun, the ex-Tottenham Hotspur boss explained things were ‘amicable’ between everyone, but confessed: ‘It was very difficult for us, it was a choker.

‘We love Louise as well, it was a big blow to all of us.’

Jamie and Louise split in 2017, following the Eternal singer’s stint on the 2016 season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Reports claimed the show’s dreaded curse put a strain on their marriage, and the mum-of-two later said being on the series made her reflect on their romance.

Castlevania and Contra are to get their own separate retro collections, as well as a compilation of arcade classics focusing on Gradius.

Sometimes it’s hard to know whether Konami even really count as a games publishers any more, since after getting rid of Hideo Kojima they’ve shown almost no interest in making new games – especially after the failure of Metal Gear Survive.

What few releases there have been, have been limited to Pro Evolution Soccer and the odd retro re-release, such as last year’s disappointing Castlevania Requiem on PlayStation 4.

What kind of effort they’re putting into these new 50th anniversary collections remains to be seen, but at least there’s three of them and they’re all multiformat.

The only one with a definite release date is the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection, which will be released digitally on April 18 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Half of the eight games included are related to Gradius though (Gradius I and II, Salamander, and predecessor Scramble) so we’re not sure why they didn’t go all-out and just make a proper collection based around that.

Three of the other games (Typhoon, Thunder Cross, and TwinBee) are also 2D shooters, while Haunted House is actually a rebranded Castlevania entry. So, yeah… we’re not really sure how much thought has gone into this.

The Castlevania Anniversary Collection contains NES games Castlevania I, II, and III, as well as SNES title Super Castlevania IV. Although more will apparently be announced later, as the collection won’t be released until early summer.

Contra Anniversary Collection will contain the arcade versions of Contra (aka Gryzor) and Super Contra, as well as NES version Super C, SNES classic Contra III, and ‘more’.

The home versions were rebranded as Probotector in Europe and the human protagonists replaced by robots but it’s unknown if that fact will be referenced at all.

All three collections also come with an eBook featuring concept sketches, promotional items and, in the case of the Castlevania one, an interview with animated series producer Adi Shankar.

It’s also implied that more 50th anniversary collections will be announced in the future.

As less than 1,000 subscribers separate the two channels, Bhojpuri actress Monalisa has joined Team T-Series, urging her followers to subscribe.

Monalisa, real name Antara Biswas, filmed a short clip for her 1.7 million Instagram followers to congratulate T-Series on hitting 90 million subscribers.

The Nazar actress said: ‘It’s so exciting to know that T-Series is on the brink of becoming the biggest YouTube channel in the world! Congratulations T-Series – let’s all subscribe to ensure Bharat wins YouTube.’

T-Series has seen an influx of Indian celebrities supporting their mission to topple PewDiePie as YouTube’s biggest channel, after company chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar encouraged citizens to get involved.

He said: ‘There is an Indian YouTube channel on the brink of becoming the world’s number one. It’s taken us a lot of effort to come this far.

‘To take my father’s dream forward I started this channel. Today it belongs to you. It belongs to the entire nation. This is a historic movement for all of us so let’s come together and subscribe to T-Series YouTube channel and make India proud.’

Judaai star Anil Kapoor is one of the actors to speak out for the label, tweeting a video with the caption: ‘What are you waiting for? Subscribe now!’

‘Attention, attention, attention!’ he said in the video. ‘India’s very own YouTube channel is on the verge of becoming the world’s number one YouTube channel. So put all your hearts into winning this. All you have to do is subscribe to T-Series on YouTube.’

Musician Adnan Sami also supported the label, writing: ‘I’m so proud of the association that T-Series & I have shared- see the albums below! It’s so exciting 2 know that @Tseries, is becoming the biggest YouTube channel in the world! Congratulations @itsBhushanKumar! U must subscribe 2 ensure #BharatWinsYouTube.’

However, Pewds, real name Felix Kjellberg, was unimpressed by the move, tweeting: ‘They are getting desperate.’

Desperate or not, it’s working – T-Series has overtaken PewDiePie on a number of occasions, with the top spot rapidly switching back and forth between the two channels.

Both channels now have over 90.3 million subs, with the gap being just 640 at the time of writing.

One summer is about to change everything as Stranger Things returns.

The Netflix show dropped a bizarre new trailer with the young cast back in action as the season three release date gets nearer.

The extended clip, which starts with a surprise party for Dustin, hints at our favourite gang of kids growing up and drifting apart as Mike can be heard saying: ‘We’re not kids anymore.

‘I mean what did you think? That we’re just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?’

As if that wasn’t hard enough, they are going to have to battle evil once more as a truly terrifying creature rears its ugly head once again.

With the action in Hawkins moving to a sweltering summer in 1985, it’s a whole new world for the Stranger Things gang.

The seriously 80s trailer takes the action to a brand new pool, a shopping mall and a huge funfair that coincides with an Independence Day celebration.

And Eleven gets one of her nosebleeds again, so we’re expecting some pretty wild scenes to go down.

Elsewhere the adults are dealing with some emotional stuff of their own as Chief Hopper tells Joyce: ‘It’s important to me that you feel safe. I want you to feel like this can still be your home.’

The hit show is set to introduce new additions to the cast for the next outing, including Cary Elwes as ‘handsome, slick, and sleazy’ Mayor Kline, and Jake Busey who plays a journalist with ‘questionable morals and a sick sense of humour’.

Shane Dawson has reason to celebrate after becoming engaged to his beau Ryland Adams.

The YouTube stars announced the happy new on Twitter, uploading a string of pictures of the proposal as they told fans.

‘He said yes! This is the best night of my life!! Thank U guys for all the love my heart is literally gonna explode,’ Shane said alongside a picture of himself proposing on one knee.

Ryland meanwhile shared a string of snaps from the evening as he wrote: ‘We’re engaged!! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you I’ve never been happier in my whole entire life!!’

Shane Dawson, who is 30 years old, was born on 19 July 1988 in Long Beach, California.

He found fame as one of the first ever YouTube stars, first making videos on the site in 2008, and quickly becoming known for comedy vlogs, sketches and music video parodies including the viral clip Fred Is Dead.

He hit 1m subscribers in 2009 and had clocked up half a billion views for his videos by 2010.

Shane went on to launch the podcast Shane and Friends in 2013 which also features his producer, Jessica Buttafuoco (who joined in 2016 replacing previous producer Lauren Schnipper) and his friend Drew Monson.

The podcast ran for five seasons although ended at the end of 2017 when streaming service Fullscreen, which had been broadcasting the shows, ceased operations.

However one particular comment from the podcast came back to haunt him lately, after a crass bestality joke relating to his cat which he made in 2015 resurfaced on Twitter earlier this week.

Dawson has since taken to Twitter to apologise for the comments and explain why they were made in the first place.

And more recently it’s been conspiracy theories on his mind, with his YouTube series on them proving hugely popular.

The official trailer for Toy Story 4 has dropped giving us all a first look at the new character Duke Caboom.

And while fans were wondering how the new toy would fit into the upcoming movie, Disney just went and confirmed that the fresh face is played by Keanu Reeves.

The studio gave a slight look into Duke’s character, saying: ‘Riding his powerful Caboom stunt-cycle, Duke is always prepared to show off his stunt poses with confidence and swagger.’

When appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at the end of last year, Tim Allen who plays Buzz Lightyear gave an insight into the character.

He said: ‘Here’s a little inside story, Keanu Reeves, the lovely man that he is, said, “this sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear,” and the character does have a slight edge of that.’

The 65-year-old added: ‘So, we calmed him down a little bit.’

A number of teasers have previously given us all a look at the much anticipated Disney-Pixar sequel over the past few months,

Noah Centineo today confirmed he was back on set and filming the sequel to All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Big news, guys – get keen.

Late last year the klaxon was sounded, heralding news the second in the Netflix OG would hit our screens…some time this year. But now Noah has shared a major piece of information our lives have been missing.

Lorde headed off on a shopping trip with ‘boyfriend’ Justin Warren wearing a mysterious silver band on her wedding ring finger.

The 22-year-old and 33-year-old Justin looked relaxed in each other’s company as they bought rugs together in Auckland over the weekend.

Lorde opted for lowkey clothes for their outing, looking effortlessly chick in a plain white T-shirt, a long white skirt and black open-toed sandals.

The Royals singer’s casual outfit drew attention to the pretty piece of jewelery on the third finger of her left hand.

Jade Goody’s bridesmaids have spoken out about their best friend ahead of the 10-year-anniversary of her death.

The five girls opened up on the time they found out Jade had cancer, and how they were left devastated watching her tie the knot, knowing the 27-year-old only had weeks left to live.

Appearing on Loose Women, Kate, Kelly, Charlene, Jen and Caroline discussed the late star and shared some of their memories from her final days.

Talking about her big day, Charlene, said: ‘It was bitter sweet because it was the start to the end and looking at Jack it was devastating.

‘You always go to a wedding and see they have the life ahead of them, but to know for him it was weeks from when she was going to pass away.’

However, despite being ill, it sounds like Jade gave her bridesmaids all she had, as they joked about her being a Bridezilla.

Charlene said: ‘She was a Bridezilla anyway.

‘She said to me, “you need to have the week off work,” she was like, “just speak to him, pass me the phone.”‘

Through blurry eyes, Caroline added: ‘It’s like she’d saved all of her energy for that day and after that she got really weak.

‘But on the day you wouldn’t know, she had to keep going off to have the nurses top up her meds, but other than that she was great.’

Kate sat listening to her friends and choked up: ‘I’ll never forget her speech. She just said to us all, “I’m hoping for a miracle.”‘

Saira Khan asked about how Jade told her two sons, Freddie and Bobby, that her cancer was terminal.

Kate added: ‘I saw her tell a lot of people and she comforted everyone to her granddad, mum and friends.

‘The only time I saw her lose it was then, you could hear her screaming, the boys were four and five.’

She added: ‘She tried to tell them in her own way, I think she tried a few times.’

Kelly spoke about the boys and how proud their mum would be of them today.

‘She would be so proud of them, they’re gorgeous, we love having them in our life,’ she said before adding: ‘We talk about their mum to them, tell them stories.

‘We didn’t know if it was right so we spoke to Jack about it, but they want to know funny stories about their mum.’

Jen added: ‘When you start talking about her you do have their full attention.’

Jade Goody sadly passed away in 2009 at the age of 27 after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

She left behind two sons, Bobby, 15, and Freddie, 14, as well as her husband Jack Tweed.

Talking about his late wife, the widower recently told OK! Magazine: ‘She was 100 million per cent the love of my life. Nobody has ever come close to Jade and I don’t see how they ever will.

‘That pain of losing the person you love never goes away.’

Mums Make Porn’s Jane Chelliah and Sarah-Louise Pritchard clapped back at criticism their Channel 4 documentary will onset addiction.

The show, which debuts tonight, follows a group of mums coming together to write, cast and direct an ‘ethical’ adult film for their children and has already come under fire from the Loose Women.

Joining This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Jane and Sarah-Louise explained argued that their movie won’t trigger unhealthy behaviours, but will instead open up a conversation between parents and their kids.

‘We questioned ourselves,’ began Sarah-Louise.

‘What we wanted to do was actually make a documentary where parents came back to their kids, sat down and had conversation. These kids are actually using that [the video] as sex education.’

Phillip asked: ‘Isn’t it better to start the conversation with these kids in the first place?’

Jane, who quit the project halfway through, replied: ‘I think with me leaving that also encourages conversations. I’ve come across so many mums who say they can’t even talk to their children about it and this is the problem I had with my daughter.

‘It wasn’t until I started being filmed for this that I started having conversation with my daughter.’

Mums Make Porn follows five women so shocked by online porn that they wanted to make their own film.

Another cast member Sarah, cried after seeing graphic rape-based content, prompting her to take matters into her own hands.

‘I just thought all of a sudden that I was going to throw up. We need to show kids that there’s something else than this horrible shit we see on the internet,’ she told the Mirror.

‘If my son treated a woman like that I would kick his arse to kingdom come.’

Erm, of course brushing over We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble – we’ll save the break-up bangers for another day.

Taylor’s romantic ballads have probably soundtracked hundreds of proposals without her even knowing it.

However, she was lucky enough to get a front row seat for the action one magical night on her Reputation Tour in 2018…

Anthony Yannuzzi and Stephanie Pysher are devoted Taylor Swift fans.

The happy couple, from Upland, Pennsylvania, have been together for six years after meeting at one of Taylor’s Red Tour shows.

Basically, T-Swizz has been part of their relationship since the beginning (and forevermore for that matter).

Stephanie told us: ‘Taylor was our first common interest and gave us something to talk about.

‘During our relationship, we listened to her music, waited for store openings for album releases, and defended her reputation from all the haters.’

Nice little pun there – Reputation? Never mind.

Stephanie added: ‘Our love for Taylor brought us together because if our partner was not a Taylor fan, that would be a deal breaker!’

Yikes, lucky they met each other’s match then.

She added: ‘We did have talks about marriage and my “dream proposal”. Anytime my friends or Anthony asked what my ideal proposal was, I jokingly responded: “Taylor Swift handing me my ring.”’

Steph might have a knack for predicting the future…

With their shared love for Taylor, Anthony knew he just had to incorporate her into their big day and started putting the wheels in motion weeks before.

He started the Twitter account, @TSPhilaProposal, with hopes that Taylor’s team could help him pop the question at the singer’s Philadelphia show.

Anthony recalls: ‘I would send out daily tweets about our relationship, love for Taylor, and our excitement as the show got closer.

‘In the beginning I did not think my efforts would be noticed, but a few of my tweets were getting hundreds of likes and retweets. This made me try harder.’

Anthony was ‘disappointed’ that his tweets went unnoticed by Taylor and her crew but, determined to make it happen, he brought the ring along to the show anyway.

‘I wanted to make Stephanie’s unrealistic dream come true, so I set my goals high. Even though it was a very slim chance to get picked, I had a gut feeling we would be selected,’ he explained.

Alas, Stephanie and Anthony were randomly selected for the highly sought-after meet-and-greet backstage.

So off the couple went, wearing their customised t-shirts with the Gorgeous song lyrics – ‘Guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats… alone’ – and Stephanie completely clueless that her life was about to change.

‘Walking into the Rep room, Anthony was very nervous about having time to talk to [Taylor],’ Stephanie said. ‘As the curtain opened, I was totally starstruck. I remember her pointing at the saying on our shirts and saying “I get it”.

‘She thanked me for being a teacher, and then Anthony started talking right away.’

And the moment finally came.

“She held my hand looking at the ring and said to Anthony: ‘You are a baller'”

‘He told Taylor how her Red tour was the start of our relationship, and he had the perfect pose for our picture together.

‘He got down on one knee, and I just froze.’

Anyone else need a hanky? No? Just us then.

Turns out, Taylor was just as surprised as Stephanie as, according to the bride-to-be: ‘Taylor initially thought he was posing for a picture then she looked back down and saw him with a ring box.

‘In the pictures you can see what a genuine surprised reaction she and I had. I was totally frozen, and Taylor told us to hug!’

As for the popstar’s first words in response to the surprise proposal: ‘She held my hand looking at the ring, and she said to Anthony “you are a baller”.’

Cheeky.

Stephanie recalls: ‘It all happened so fast, and I was definitely in a state of shock that it was a blur.

‘We posed for our picture and I just remember Taylor saying, “Go get married!” as we were walking out.

‘Anthony told her she would get an invite. After we walked out, we could not even remember what she was wearing.’

The newly-engaged couple spent the rest of that night visiting family to share their delightful news but, it turned out that Taylor was the gift that kept on giving.

‘After going back home, our phones started to blow up,’ Stephanie revealed.

‘Taylor Swift posted about our engagement on her personal Instagram account. She called herself our third wheel.’

A third wheel Stephanie and Anthony didn’t mind having, of course.

She continued: ‘It was hard to sleep after seeing that, but we eventually fell asleep for a few hours only to wake up seeing our story was on multiple news stations and articles online.

‘All of the attention that came from our story was truly overwhelming. We still lay down at night and relive those moments.

‘It was meant to be, and Taylor has no idea how much that moment meant to us. We are grateful to have shared our biggest moment with her.’

That might not be the only moment Taylor will share with the smitten couple as they plan on inviting the popstar to their wedding.

Oh, and they’ve set a date: 13 June 2020.

Stephanie said: ‘We have not heard from Taylor since that night, but we will be sending her an invite for the big day.

‘Of course, we had to pick the 13th, Taylor’s favourite number.

‘We have no expectations for our wedding to be as big as our proposal, but we will definitely have some form of Taylor represented on our wedding day.’

Congrats guys… maybe Taylor’s cat Meredith can be the ring bearer?

Alyssa Read got the most pleasant surprise when her boyfriend of five years, Channing, popped the question as Taylor was mid-song at a Houston show on the Reputation Tour.

Now that’s how you steal a superstar’s spotlight.

Alyssa told us: ‘Taylor Swift has always been a huge part of my life especially during high school.

‘Channing has always been very aware of that and made the effort to not only learn her songs for me, but also jam out with me to her amazing music.

I SAID YES!!!!!!!! 💍💞

After the best 5 years with Channing I didn’t think he could make me any happier, but last night he changed all of that. I love you more than anything in this entire world and I’m so lucky to be yours forever.

Taylor caught wind of the proposal on social media and kindly congratulated the happy couple on Instagram. The singer commented under the proposal video: ‘CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ along with every love-related emoji under the sun.

Even if Taylor can’t make it to the nuptials, she’ll still very much be a part of their day.

Alyssa revealed: ‘I have a Taylor Swift quote on a ribbon that is going around my bouquet which I love!

‘We’re also actually driving to New Orleans right after the ceremony and we’re planning on making a Taylor Swift playlist and jamming to it the whole way there.’

Great British Menu is back tonight for the fourteenth series, ready to crown a select few chefs crowned regional winners, with a potential chance to cook for a banquet celebrating 50 years of British pop music.

The first episode will have three chefs from London and the South East battling it out for the top spot with their fish courses, and there will also be an episode on Thursday showcasing their mains and desserts.

This will then be followed by a Friday final featuring the main three judges and a guest deciding who goes through from each round.

The guest judge this Friday is Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, from the Stone Roses and Primal Scream, alongside the three GBM stalwarts we know and love. Let’s take a look at them.

Angela Hartnett

Angela technically doesn’t count as a judge, as she doesn’t have final say in which dishes win in the end.

What she does do is rate the dishes offered up at the kitchen stage, giving pointers to the chefs as to how they could adapt and improve their meals.

Angela started her career as a protegee of Gordon Ramsay alongside Marcus Wareing. She gained her first Michelin star in 2004, and an MBE in 2007, and has been at the helm of a number of restaurants throughout her career.

Andi Oliver

Restaurateur Andi actually started her career in a punk band alongside Neneh Cherry called Rip Rig + Panic. She then went on to present Badass TV alongside Ice T, and eventually moved into the food industry.

Andi and her former bandmade went on to present, Neneh & Andi Dish It Up, and Andi then appeared as a judge on ITV’s Food Glorious Food. She is also a regular contributor to a number of radio shows.

She has her own restaurant in Stoke Newington called Andi’s, serving up home-cooke Caribbean food, and another called The Jackdaw and Star in Homerton.

Oliver Peyton

Irish judge Oliver has had many jobs over the years, but got into the restaurant business after opening nightclubs in Brighton and London.

From there, he opened a number of restaurants in London and Manchester, with his company, Peyton and Byrne, being at the helm of venues throughout the UK ever since.

Peyton has been one of the judges on Great British Menu since its inception in 2006.

Matthew Fort

Matthew is the show’s resident food critic, and has been writing for the Guardian about food since 1989.

He was food and drink editor for the paper for some time, and has also written for a number of other publications and published books.

Matthew is also one of the original presenters of the show, having been there since 2006.

There’s a lot to love about Derry Girls – Sister Michael. The banging soundtrack. Everything that comes out of Granda Joe’s mouth.

But a sweet detail has everyone falling even more head over heels with the Channel 4 comedy.

Viewers have noticed that ever since Clare came out as a lesbian in the series one finale, her friends have been wearing rainbow pins.

And now our hearts have swollen to three times their size.

Erin, Orla, Michelle, James and Clare wore the colourful badges in promo pictures for series two, but viewers only starting noticing the heartwarming gesture in the last two episodes on Channel 4.

Clare even wore her two badges while wearing a balaclava on the bus to Belfast – so you know she’s truly committed to the cause.

And people are loving the unmentioned gesture to Clare from her group of friends:

Clare, played by Nicola Coughlan, came out after her essay, The Secret Life Of A Lesbian, was published in the school magazine.

At first, Erin (Saoirse-Monica Jackson) reacted badly, telling her friend to ‘go back in’ and saying she wasn’t interested in her, but soon they made up, and Derry Girls has been praised for Clare’s relatable coming out story.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Nicola said: ‘I found out when I very first auditioned, so I’d known for about six months before the others. So it had always been in my mind. It was always a very important part of the character. But I also knew that they wanted Clare to be her own person.

‘It wasn’t like, “She’s gay, so she’s the gay character”. She’s a whole human being. And I think that that’s where a lot of shows go wrong. “That one’s the gay one, and that one’s”… It’s like: “No, Clare’s a human being. This is one part of her character”.’

So far in series two, we’ve seen the girls and James attempt to build bridges with their Protestant peers, bonding with a new English teacher, and hitch-hiking to Belfast to see Take That and avoid an escaped polar bear.

Tim Roth will return as Jack Worth for a third and final series of Tin Star.

Season three, created by British writer Rowan Joffe, sees the Worth family travel back to the UK for new episodes set in and around Liverpool.

In series two Jack and Angela (Genevieve O’Reilly) were forced to break some devastating news to their daughter Anna (Abigail Lawrie), before the ‘ultimate threat’ landed on their doorstep.

Looking forward to Jack’s last hurrah, Joffe said: ‘A show creator and writer’s work is only as good as his team: and I am very grateful to have another chance to write for Tim Roth, Genevieve O’Reilly and Abigail Lawrie – and executive producer Alison Jackson.

‘An awe-inspiring roster of talent and a chance to deliver our best season yet.’

Cameron Roach, Director of Drama at Sky, added: ‘We are thrilled to announce a final season of Tin Star.

The Sky Atlantic drama follows a former undercover policeman turned police chief in a small town in the Canadian Rockies, who must defend his family from those in power.

Kylie Jenner might have accused her beau Travis Scott of cheating on her.

But, it appears the rapper can’t get enough of his girl, as he got pretty thirsty over her latest Instagram post.

Taking to the social media site, the beauty mogul shared a photo of herself posing in a white dress.

However, the 21-year-old had strategically worn some neon green lingerie, which could be seen through her sheer outfit.

Teasing her underwear in the caption, the mother-of-one shared a green heart emoji next to a black heart emoji.

And while fans were commenting on how amazing their ‘queen’ looked, Kylie’s baby daddy appeared to be floored.

Taking to the comment section, the 27-year-old shared a love heart smiley face emoji – and we can’t help but think the pair have moved on from their drama.

Just last month, during the same time Jordyn Woods had been accused of sleeping with Khloe’s now ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, Kylie was going through her own turmoil and had accused Trav of cheating on her.

It’s said the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had found evidence of him going behind her back when scrolling through his phone.

However a rep for Travis said he ‘absolutely denies’ cheating, even though new reports claim him being away on tour is taking its toll on the family.

Sources have told People magazine that Kylie is finding it ‘difficult’ while Travis is on tour and he is now going out of his way to ‘regain her trust’.

They said: ‘Travis’ tour has been hard for Kylie, they spend very little time together. When he’s around, things are great with them, but when he tours Kylie finds it hard to trust him.’

‘Travis keeps telling Kylie that she can trust him. He has been doing everything he can right now to regain her trust,’ the source added.

Google has joined the video games industry with its own high-tech streaming platform, but how does it work and what are the games?

For the first time in 20 years a major new company has entered the games industry, but Google are not releasing a new console. Stadia is a separate platform, that runs its own games, but there’s no physical hardware beyond a controller; instead it streams games just like Netflix streams movies.

It’s an idea that’s been floating around for years, and already exists in limited form via services such as PlayStation Now, but Google are aiming to make it the foundation of everything they do in games.

They announced Stadia during an hour-long presentation on Tuesday, 19 March but inevitably that ended up leaving more questions than answers. But here’s everything we know so far.

So, what exactly is Stadia?

Stadia is Google’s new video game platform, the equivalent of a new console but one that doesn’t require any physical hardware. Instead, games are streamed via broadband, just like Netflix or Spotify, and you can play them on devices like a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone. The games are special versions exclusively for Stadia but the graphics are at least as good as a high-end PC and run at resolutions of up to 4K and at 60 frames per second.

What devices can I play Stadia on?

You can run Stadia on any laptop or desktop PC, regardless of how powerful it is. You can also run it on a TV but that will require a Chromecast media player attached, which costs around £30 for the basic model or £70 for the 4K version. The only mobile devices it will work on are Google Pixel phones and tablets, so not just any Android device. Google have implied more devices will be made compatible later but didn’t give any details of what or when.

What kind of broadband connection do I need?

Google has suggested a download speed of at least 25 Mbps. That’s pretty fast, although most built-up areas in the UK should be able to provide that sort of speed… for a cost. If you want to check how fast your current Internet connection is visit the site Speedtest and check to see what your download speed is.

Is there a specific Stadia controller?

Yes. The controller shown during the presentation looks pretty similar to any other but it does have two special buttons that allow you to stream directly to YouTube (which Google also own) and a Google Assistant button that can look up game hints for you automatically. The Wi-Fi controller also connects directly to your game stream to minimise any input lag. Alternatively, you can use whatever controller you already have for your PC. That presumably goes for Bluetooth controllers for phones, although Google hasn’t clarified that yet.

What games will Stadia have?

Oddly, Google hasn’t really said yet. 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was used as a demo last year and on-stage at the presentation but the only upcoming game that was confirmed was Bethesda’s Doom Eternal. Many other games were promised though and Google has set up its own games studio to create its own exclusive titles and oversee those from other creators. However, nothing was actually shown up and running and there won’t be any more information until this summer.

What other things can Stadia do that a normal console can’t?

Not only can Stadia run on multiple devices, no matter how powerful they are, but you can switch between them in an instant and carry on the game just where you left off. So, for example, you can switch from the same game phone to TV to desktop with almost no pause. This also allows for clever tricks such as multiple split-screen views of a game – which is especially handy for couch co-op and should prove very useful for VR. Although the more screens the more strain it’ll put on your broadband connection.

There’s also some neat social features, such as State Share where you can capture a moment – a boss battle, for example – from a game and send it as link to anyone else you like, so that they can play the same thing. Meanwhile, Crowd Play allows you to watch a YouTuber and then just click a button to join a queue to play them yourself.

How will this affect Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo?

That remains to be seen. The new generation of consoles is fast approaching and expected to be released next year, so hints about the new formats may start to appear at E3 in June. Although Microsoft has insisted that they are making a normal console as well they’ve also announced Project xCloud, which sounds very similar to Stadia. Sony and Nintendo have also experimented with streaming, so it’ll almost certainly become a standard part of gaming from now on – even if it’s not the only option for most companies.

When will Stadia be out?

Stadia will launch this year in North America and Europe, but there’s no specific release date so far. It sounds like it’ll probably be late summer at the very earliest, but there could be beta tests and the like before that. Google mentioned providing more information this summer, so you may not hear much more about it until then.

How much will Stadia cost?

Google isn’t saying yet. Not only did they not mention anything about price but they haven’t indicated whether you can buy individual games or if everything is subscription based. Even if they follow the Netflix model for subscriptions, with a similar pricing scheme, there’s likely to be additional costs on top for microtransactions, DLC, and perhaps even big-name games.

David Beckham found himself in hot water in court earlier this week, after admitting to driving while using his phone.

It’s not all good news for David, who is facing a full court hearing after admitting to using his phone while driving his Bentley.

He was spotted behind the wheel in Great Portland Street, by a member of the public, and pleaded guilty to the offence by post.

His case was considered at Bromley Magistrates Court on Tuesday, but has been adjourned to Lavender Hill on 17 April, after the magistrates requested ‘more information’.

Victoria Beckham’s husband could now be given a £200 fine and six points on his license.

However, David does have something to smile about, after himself and Posh Spice officially joined the billionaire club, alongside Kylie Jenner.

After years of business ventures Brand Beckham – which includes kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – are now worth a shiny billion dollars (£769m)

Not too shabby, eh?

It’s not surprising considering how huge their empire is, spanning Vic’s fashion business, David’s football career and all those endorsements.

Even their little ones have been pulling their weight, with Romeo serving looks in a Burberry campaign and Cruz releasing a Christmas bop.

Everyone might be focused on Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and Cersei Lannister to take the Iron Throne, but there’s a new group on the playing field who could pose a significant threat.

The latest trailer for the final season of Game Of Thrones debuted The Golden Company; a new army recruited by Cersei Lannister to help her bid in the battle for the throne.

But why should you be concerned about Cersei’s new lackeys? Here’s what you need to know about The Golden Company.

Have we heard about this Golden Company before?

In season seven, Cersei appeared to make a temporary truce with Jon Snow and Daenerys to unite against the White Walkers. This, however, as she revealed to Jaime, was a tactical ploy she plans to take advantage of in the battles ahead.

The end of the season saw her send Euron Greyjoy to retrieve The Golden Company army who reside in Essos. Cersei’s acquisition of this army took place after speaking with the Iron Bank’s Tycho Nestoris (Mark Gatiss) earlier in the season,  stating how she needed an army, and noted Qyburn (Anton Lesser) had made ‘overtures’ to The Golden Company.

Before this, The Golden Company were mentioned way back in season four, when Davos suggested to Stannis to hire the group, highlighting their reputation as one of the most skilled armies around.

Interestingly, Jorah Mormont also once fought for The Golden Company before pledging his sword to Daenerys’ brother Viserys.

So who actually are The Golden Company?

Originating from Essos, The Golden Company are the largest sellsword company (private army) in the Free Cities. The army consists of 10,000 men, including archers, cavalry and massive war elephants.

In the Game Of Thrones books, The Golden Company was founded one hundred years before the War Of The Five Kings by Aegor Rivers, otherwise known as Bittersteel.

Aegor, one of the bastard sons of King Aegon IV Targaryen, fled Westeros after the first Blackfyre Rebellion and established his own sellsword company to revive House Blackfyre’s fighting force.

Who leads The Golden Company?

In season eight, the army is led by Harry Strickland (Marc Rissman) who is briefly glimpsed from behind in the recent trailer.

Harry’s great-grandfather was part of the original Blackfyre group who founded The Golden Company. His connection to the army’s lineage perhaps explains his high ranking, considering he’s not exactly held with high regard among his men due to his less than stellar fighting skills and timid personality.

So why should I care, quite honestly?

Have you not been paying attention? With the White Walkers barrelling into Westeros with their seemingly unstoppable army, The Golden Company potentially hold the only chance of turning the odds – hence why Cersei might be feeling pretty smug with herself.

The bigger question is, as essentially hired goons, whether they’ll remain firm in their allegiance with House Lannister. As the future of all races in Westeros is threatened, we can see a shift in sides if Cersei becomes obsessed with taking down Daenerys and Jon Snow over their White Walker invaders.

The balance of power? It could all pivot on The Golden Company.
