Most excellent dudes, Alex Winters and Keanu Reeves have confirmed a third Bill & Ted movie is on the way.
The pair released a video on Twitter at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl where they revealed they will reprise their titular roles as Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted (Theodore) Logan in Bill & Ted Face the Music, which will film this summer in New Orleans.
The film is scheduled for release in summer 2020, 28 years after the second instalment of the saga, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.
The actors announced the news in a brief video standing in front of Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, where Alex noted they will ‘never play’.
The pair then thanked fans for repeatedly demanding a third film.
Be excellent, dudes
‘We owe you a huge debt of gratitude, and we wanted to say thank you. And be excellent,’ said Alex with Keanu repeating: ‘Be excellent.’
An official logline for the movie teased the appearance of a ‘few music legends’ as the two friends set out to save ‘life as we know it’.
‘Yet to fulfil their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe,’ it read.
‘Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.’
Galaxy Quest’ filmmaker Dean Parisot will direct from a script written by previous Bill & Ted writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
The first movie, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was released in 1989 and followed the teenage pals’ time-travelling adventures while they tried to pass a high school history class.
The follow-up was released two years later and saw the pair battle their evil robotic duplicates.

Richard is spilling all the tea on Julianne’s sudden departure (Pictures: REX)
Richard E Grant has claimed that the reason Julianne Moore was fired from Can You Forgive Me? is because she wanted to wear a fat suit.
Julianne, 58, was originally set to star in the Oscar-nominated film as literary forger Lee Israel. After Julianne departed the project, Melissa McCarthy stepped in and was nominated for the best actress Oscar and Bafta.
While Julianne has previously said she was ‘fired’ from the role, Richard, 61, has shed light on the reason why.
Speaking at an Advertising Week Europe event this week, the British actor revealed: ‘Julianne Moore wanted to wear a fat suit and a false nose to play Lee Israel and [co-writer] Nicole Holofcener said, “You’re not going to do that”.’
Addressing the situation on Watch What Happens Live, Julianne previously said: ‘Nicole fired me. I think she didn’t like what I was doing.”
According to Richard, the Can You Ever Forgive Me? production was mired by multiple setbacks and changes.
Melissa took over the lead role and was nominated for an Oscar (Picture: Fox Searchlight Pictures)
He recalled: ‘The original cast was going to be directed by Bob Balaban with Helena Bonham Carter and Sam Rockwell playing my part.
‘Fast forward 10 years and then it was going to be Julianne Moore and Chris O’Dowd and then Nicole Holofcener, the co-screenwriter, fired Julianne Moore two days before they started shooting over creative differences.
‘Then Melissa McCarthy’s husband, who had been in the previous version and still played the same part, gave her the script to read and then she came on board and then I got cast so it was third time lucky for me otherwise I wouldn’t be here.’
It wasn’t just Melissa who struck gold with the film as Richard was nominated for best supporting actor for his performance as Jack Hock, but lost out to Mahershala Ali.
Metro.co.uk contacted Julianne Moore’s rep but they opted not to comment.

Will true love blossom for Married At First Sight’s Jonathan and Steph? (Picture: Channel 4)
Married At First Sight is back on Channel 4, with more complete strangers hoping to take the plunge and find true love with one another.
This time around we’ll meet hopefuls Jonathan and Steph and Jack and Verity – who are preparing to head up the aisle in their bid to secure a life partner.
The series has matched plenty of other hopefuls in the past – but have any of them stayed together?
Let’s take a look back at the show’s success rate…
How many of the couples who met on Married At First Sight are still together?
Despite having sent its fair share of people up the aisle in the past, the Channel 4 show has yet to secure a lasting match, with all of its unions ending in separation. Here’s how it breaks down:
Emma and James
(Picture: Channel 4)
One of the very first couples to be matched up on the show, Emma and James were married in the first series in 2015, tying the knot on 21 February that year. However – and despite lasting longer together than the other two couples in that series, they revealed by Christmas Day that year that they had split up.
Jason and Kate
(Picture: Channel 4)
Season one pairing Jason and Kate seemed doomed from the off after Jason was caught looking on Tinder just two weeks after their marriage. He later admitted he had visited the dating site after realising the marriage would never work out – with the pair having the union nullified eight months later.
Caroline and Adam
(Picture: Channel 4)
They might have seemed like the only successful couple from the 2016 series – but things didn’t go as planned for Caroline and Adam either, with the couple revealing on Instagram in 2017 that they had gone their separate ways – and Caroline putting her Vera Wang wedding dress on eBay.
Sara and Adam
(Picture: Channel 4)
Remember Adam, who had a little bit much to drink on honeymoon and faced a huge ticking-off from Sara, the wife he had only just met? They didn’t stay the course either – although they did give it their best shot with her moving in with him for a year. ‘I think that science matches the compatibility between us; what the science can’t match or can’t create is the chemistry,’ she said later.
Melissa and Clark
(Picture: Channel 4)
We were rooting for Melissa and Clark in 2016 since they appeared so smitten with each other straight away – with Clark giving us all the feels when he admitted onscreen he had a ‘huge crush’ on his wife.
But they also revealed a few months on that they were taking some time out from each other – with Clark admitting: ‘We both underestimated how difficult it was going to be.’
They are still close friends though and reportedly meet up regularly – so it’s not all bad news.
Richard and Harriet
(Picture: Channel 4)
Everybody was optimistic about Richard and Harriet’s chances of making it work – but despite their best efforts, they revealed they were divorcing at the end of the series. Sad faces all round.
Ben and Stephanie
(Picture: Channel 4)
We had high hopes for Ben Jardine and his Married At First Sight match Stephanie also – until he revealed in March last year that they had split up. Just five months later, in August, he announced he was expecting a baby with somebody else – right before he went into the Celebrity Big Brother house as one of the housemates in the final series of the show. Oh, and Stephanie found out about the divorce after she heard Ben talking about it on Fubar Radio. Awkward.
Married At First Sight series four begins on Channel 4 on Wednesday night at 9pm.

Will, who reprises his role as detective Mike Lowry, appeared to be a little more confident while riding the tandem motorcycle at super speed – or at least pretending to.
His partner’s face, however, told a different story as Martin, 53, looked absolutely terrified.
After all the high-speed chases they’ve done over the years, you’d think the pals would be used to it by now.
Based on the photos, the detectives mean serious business as a machine gun was seen mounted on the side.

Bad Boys For Life, which will also star Vanessa Hudgens, is expected to follow Lowrey and his partner Marcus Barnett, played by Martin, as they attempt to take down a drug cartel in Atlanta.
However, Barnett is now a police inspector and Lowrey is going through a midlife crisis of sorts so their mission will be interesting to say the least.
Joe Pantoliano will return to the franchise, reprising his role as Captain Howard after playing the role in 1995’s Bad Boys and 2003’s Bad Boys II.
Joining Hudgens as the newbies are Alexander Ludwig and Charles Melton, while DJ Khaled will be making an appearance although it’s not known if he’ll play himself or get into character.
Bad Boys For Life hits UK cinemas on 24 January 2020.

Earlier this week, sources said the Blonde Ambition star was ready to give birth any day now, and had her ‘hospital bags packed’ and waiting.
‘Jessica is definitely uncomfortable. This has been a tough pregnancy but she knows it will all be worth it when she’s holding that little baby. Her hospital bags are packed. Everyone is trying to be patient, but the family is so excited and counting the minutes until the baby is here,’ the insider said.
Jessica announced her pregnancy in September (Picture: Backgrid)
The 38-year-old announced she was expecting her third child back in September, and revealed that her children were over the moon, as ‘they’re only fourteen months apart, so they didn’t get to experience the excitement of each other’.
‘But when I told them that we’re having another baby, I know that they’ll remember that for the rest of their lives,’ she said.
‘They are most excited about learning how to do the swaddle. Maxwell, my daughter is just so happy that it’s a girl. They ask me the craziest questions that I can’t say on TV … “How does the baby come out?” “Where does the milk come from, I don’t understand!”
‘I’m a little bit too honest, and Eric’s like, “I don’t think we need to give out ALL the information, Jessica.” So, I’m scaring my kids, I think.’
Starring Morven Christie as D.S. Lisa Armstrong, a family liaison officer, the show follows Armstrong as she investigates a missing person case.
Matters are thoroughly complicated when she realises that she has a personal link to the case.
The series will run for six episodes, and is due to start tonight, Wednesday 20 March.
Where is ITV’s The Bay set?
The Bay was filmed and takes place in the coastal Lancashire town of Morecambe, and, as you might have guessed, Morecambe Bay features prominently.
It’s the largest stretch of sand and intertidal mudflats in the UK, and as such, will no doubt make for a pretty atmospheric setting for the crime drama.
The Bay, which cast members insist is nothing like Broadchurch despite constant comparisons, is a British procedural drama about the disappearance of children from the point of view of both the police investigation and from the family of the missing, set in a provincial seaside town.
‘There’s more to it than a witty twosome, there’s a family of officers so it can’t be that,’ said Taheen Modak, who plays D.C Ahmed Kharim, at an exclusive preview.
‘Naturally you might draw comparisons because of the seaside town thing. At most and at best that, because we’re following family liaison officers specifically, and we don’t usually see that on TV.
‘You don’t see the people volunteering and talking to the families while the police in uniform are out there doing a different job.’
His co-star Daniel Ryan, who plays D.I Tony Manning added: ‘It’s a whole different thing. It’s not hurried. It’s not all action and running about.
‘We’ve tried to keep it as real as we can, which isn’t always dramatic. The drama is in the family, it’s their loss.’
The first episode of The Bay airs tonight, 20 March, from 9pm until 10pm, on ITV.
It’s almost the end of an era for Mayim and Jim (Picture: Getty Images)
Mayim Bialik posted the sweetest early birthday message to Jim Parsons on set of The Big Bang Theory.
It was a bittersweet day on set of the CBS sitcom as the cast celebrated Jim’s 46th birthday a few days early on Wednesday – he actually turns 46 on 24 March.
However, Mayim realised it was the last birthday she’ll spend with her co-star on-set of the hit series.
Read it and weep.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the actress wrote: ‘Happy birthday for the last time working with the man I was told to imitate for an audition 10 years ago which changed my life.
‘Jim you are so much fun to work with and be friends with. Your success inspires me so much as does your heart the size of Texas.’
Alongside the message, Mayim shared a photo of Jim and his co-stars gathered around his birthday cake and another snap of the actor leaping into the air.
Like the rest of us, Mayim has been struggling to come to terms with the end of The Big Bang Theory and recently revealed the five stages of grief she’s going through.
In a video, the actress – who plays Anne Farrah-Fowler – said: ‘People keep asking me how does it feel? Well, I’m going to tell you.
‘I think emotionally I’ve kind of pushed it aside, I am so lucky to be in this situation, I love my job and I guess my job loves me.
‘It’s amazing, so maybe we could’ve kept it going. Maybe there’ll be a spin-off, maybe this maybe that, maybe the fans will revolt and we won’t have to end.’
Oh, you try stopping us.
The TV star added: ‘It’s time, you know? We had a long run, we had an amazing run.
‘All things must end, even the good things must end. It’s a shift. We’re all shifting.’
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS in the US and at a later date on E4 in the UK.

Are you ready for the return of The OA? (Picture: Netflix)
Netflix’s spiritual sci-fi series is back for a new season, but considering it’s been over two years since the first, you might need a refresher.
Created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, The OA follows Prairie Johnson (Brit Marling) who returns to her hometown after being missing for seven years. If her sudden reappearance isn’t odd enough, she also comes back with her sight intact after being blind for the majority of her life.
What unfolds is a unique journey of discovery and faith, as a group from her hometown forms to hear Prairie’s story. Jumping between the past and the present, The OA recounts Prairie’s story of being kidnapped by scientist Dr. Hunter Aloysius ‘Hap’ Percy (Jason Isaacs) and falling in love with fellow captive Homer (Emory Cohen) – leaving the question with her followers over whether she’s actually telling the truth.
A shooter descended upon the school (Picture: Netflix)
The season one finale saw the high school under threat from a mysterious shooter, with Steve (Patrick Gibson), Elizabeth (Phyllis Smith), Buck (Ian Alexander), Jesse (Brendan Meyer), and French (Brandon Perea), all uniting to perform the ‘movements’ taught by Prairie to protect everyone from harm.
While the school kids remained unscathed, the shooter fired a bullet which hit Prairie, who was stood outside the cafeteria window, directly in the chest. She was taken away with her severe injury by the ambulance crew, with the season ending as Steve chased after the vehicle.
Before this climactic end, French discovered some books referring to Homer the Greek poet, angels, and Russian oligarchs, inside Prairie’s house – leading those who heard her story to believe she had fabricated the entire thing and was simply mentally unstable.
What does The OA stand for?
In the first season, we hear Prairie refer to herself as the ‘original angel’ which is believed to be what the title stands for. Although it’s never been officially confirmed.
Prairie’s origins
Prairie was adopted as a young child (Picture: Netflix)
If you’ll recall Prairie isn’t actually ‘Prairie’. This name was given to her by her adoptive parents, and she was previously known as Nina and lived in Russia with her father. Nina’s mother died in childbirth.
As a young child, Nina would have nightmares where she was trapped in an aquarium and couldn’t breathe, waking up with a nosebleed. This dream is believed to be a premonition, after one day she had a nosebleed before climbing on the bus to go to school, only for the bus to get into an accident and fall off a bridge, leaving Nina and everyone else to drown.
After dying, a woman called Khatun asked Nina in a bizarre dream world if she wanted to go back. She said yes, but Nina lost her eyesight in exchange. After returning to life, Nina’s father sent her to a boarding school for the blind, only for him to die mysteriously in another accident. As a result, Nina was left with her aunt, who sold babies for adoption.
An older couple named Nancy and Abel went to her aunt’s house to adopt a baby. After Nancy spotted Nina, she decided that was the child she wanted to adopt, and renamed her Prairie.
Later in life, Prairie’s dreams and premonitions became a reoccurring problem. She was diagnosed as mentally ill by doctors, only for Prairie to leave home under the belief she’d meet her father on her 21st birthday. This, however, led to her meeting Dr Hap, who trapped her inside his basement.
What happened between Prairie and Homer?
Homer and Prairie fell in love over the first season (Picture: Netflix)
Prairie met Homer as a fellow captive inside Dr Hap’s basement. They were both tested on by Hap as he undergoes scientific research into their ability to defy death.
Prairie and Homer fell in love with each other despite being caged up separately. Homer, however, is taken by Hap to Cuba in order to seduce a woman who he wants to kidnap. The audio recording of them having sex is broadcasted into the basement by Hap, in a bid to anger Prairie.
They form a bond however once he returns and Prairie explains how she believes they’re all angels. While Prairie was ditched on the side of the road by Hap, the whereabouts of Homer and the other captives is unknown – with Prairie believing, after acquiring the fifth movement, they travelled to another dimension.
The bizarre unanswered questions
Did Prairie make up her story?
As mentioned previously, this is a huge question hanging over Prairie’s posse and the entirety of the first season, especially following the discovery of the books by French.
Who was the mysterious shooter at school?
It’s unknown who exactly was the shooter who descended upon the school, with the camera and editing in the finale making a clear point not to reveal the man’s identity.
Could this shooter have a bigger part in Prairie’s story? Was this someone who has successfully jumped across dimensions? Or is it not significant at all?
Who is Khatun?
Khatun encounters Prairie in her near death experiences (Picture: Netflix)
Prairie meets Khatun in the bizarre Upside Down-esque world when she dies, who acts as a mythical spirit guide.
She initially brings Prairie back to her life following the bus accident, and later in season one, teaches Prairie the movements required to travel dimensions when she’s killed during Hap’s experiments.
But is Khatun real? And why is Prairie only meeting her?
Why was Elias in Prairie’s house?
Prairie’s FBI therapist Elias Rahim (Riz Ahmed) encountered French after he discovered the books within her house, with no explanation as to why he was knocking about there in the first place.
Elias is generally a mysterious presence on the show, with very little known about his origins and why he’s become attached to Prairie.
So where do we start with season two?
As shown by the trailers, Prairie has successfully jumped into another dimension in San Francisco 2016, where Barack Obama never became president.
The kids, however, are dealing with the aftermath of Prairie’s disappearance and questioning whether what they heard, or saw, was real at all.
Emma has allegedly moved on from Evan and onto Garrett (Pictures: Getty)
Emma Roberts has reportedly been seen ‘kissing’ actor Garrett Hedlund after splitting from longtime boyfriend Evan Peters.
The American Horror Story actress is said to have ended her seven-year relationship and engagement to Evan, 28, recently.
It seems their relationship may have been over for a while though as Emma, 24, was allegedly seen on a date with Triple Frontier actor Garrett this week.
According to The Blast, Emma and Garrett, 34, were spotted leaving the Cafe Stella restaurant in Silver Lake, California at around 9pm on Monday before sharing a kiss on the street.
A source told Us Weekly: ‘Garrett and Emma have been friends, but this is new, casual, and just a couple of weeks old.’
Another insider added of her split from fellow AHS actor Evan: ‘Emma and Evan were heading for a split and now are just friends.
Emma and Evan were together for seven years (Picture: WireImage)
Garrett famously dated Kirsten Dunst for four years (Picture: WireImage)
‘Evan has moved out. It wasn’t a bad breakup.’
Emma and Evan began dating in 2012 after meeting on set of Adult World. The couple got engaged in January 2014 but briefly split in 2015 before rekindling their romance.
In 2013, their relationship was rocked when Emma was arrested in relation to domestic violence during an incident involving Evan in Montreal, Canada. Evan opted not to press charges and the actress was released from custody soon after.
The pair later released a joint statement describing it as ‘unfortunate incident and misunderstanding’.
While remaining mostly tight-lipped about their relationship, Evan did open up about working with Emma on AHS in 2014.
The TV star told People: ‘It’s really amazing. You’re at set and you’re in a city that you don’t really know that well. It’s nice to have your best friend there to go to dinner with and check out the city.’
Garrett is best known for roles in Tron, Mudbound, Pan and Four Brothers, and also dated Kirsten Dunst for four years until 2016.

A new documentary is on the way soon (Picture: Jeff Spicer/Getty Images)
Louis Theroux has announced his new BBC documentary will spotlight postnatal mental health, which will be released in May.
Titled Mothers On The Edge, Theroux’s new documentary will see him spend time in two specialist psychiatric units which treat mothers suffering from serious mental illness, while enabling them to be with their babies.
The women in question are treated for a number of conditions triggered by motherhood or childbirth, including depression, psychosis, and anxiety.
Speaking about the documentary, Theroux said: ‘Postpartum mental illness, like many aspects of mental health, is all too common and not acknowledged enough.
Louis Theroux’s previous documentary was The Night In Question (Picture: BBC)
‘We as a society do so much to celebrate new motherhood and to romanticise the relationship between new mothers and their babies, for understandable reasons.
‘But the sad fact is, for many mums, their experience of having a baby is traumatic and they don’t experience Hallmark Card feelings of love.’
Speaking about the women who spoke to him for the film, Theroux added: ‘They bared a great deal of their souls and risked the judgment of less understanding elements of society.
‘Their bravery and candour is awe inspiring, and it was a privilege to be invited into their families during a most vulnerable period in their lives.’
Mothers On The Edge follows his previous documentary The Night In Question, which explored issues of sexual assault in US colleges.
Louis Theroux’s Mothers On The Edge airs on BBC Two in May.
Steph and Jonathan met for the first time at the end of the aisle (Picture: Channel 4)
Married At First Sight bosses may have a few new applications coming in after Wednesday’s episode as viewers joke that it may be their final option.
‘Married at First Sight would be my worst nightmare but is literally the only option left to me right now,’ tweeted one viewer as Jonathan, a 39-year-old property manager from Bristol wed Steph, 28, a nurse from Somerset whom he met for the first time at the end of the aisle.
‘Think i’ll apply for married at first sight. Seems like the only plausable option really (sic),’ added another viewer while one fan suggested the show ‘seems like a legit answer to my life’.
‘Like another person just HAS to marry me? sign me up,’ they joked.
We think.
Married At First Sight brings together, as the title suggests, four couples who have never met before but are matched up via science and date and who tie the knot.
The show hasn’t exactly had a great track record when it comes to its subjects finding true love, as none of the couples who were wed in previous series are still together.
The show will also follow Jack and Verity as they wed (Picture: Channel 4)
But that hasn’t stopped more from wanting to give it a go though, with around 7,000 people applying to take part in this series.
Sounds like there may be 8,000 people next year…
Married At First Sight airs on Channel 4 on Wednesday night at 9pm.

The Bay won’t reveal whodunnit until episode five (Picture: ITV)
*Warning, spoilers for The Bay.
ITV’s latest drama The Bay got off to a sensational start on Wednesday night, setting the wheels in motion for a scandalous whodunnit case.
By the end of episode one, Morvern Christie’s Detective Sergeant Lisa Armstrong had arrested Sean Meredith (Jonas Armstrong) for Dylan’s (Noah Valentine) death, but is he really the one who’s done the crime?
Speaking to Metro.co.uk at an exclusive press event, Daniel Ryan and Taheen Modak, who play DCI Tony Manning and DC Med Kharim revealed that all our hunches at this stage are probably wrong.
Taheen Modak says there are more suspects to arrive yet (Picture: ITV)
‘If you think you know who it is, you’re completely wrong,’ Daniel began, before revealing that he didn’t even know until after he’d finished reading the episode three script.
Talking about the situation at the end of opener, Daniel continued: ‘I don’t think we’ve met all the suspects.’
‘You meet more,’ teased Taheen.
Holly and Dylan went missing (Picture: ITV)
‘We’ve still got Holly out there,’ added Daniel. ‘Pace wise, it’s not hurried, it’s not all action and it’s not all running about.
‘We’ve tried to keep it as real as we can, which isn’t always dramatic. The drama’s in the family, it’s their loss. It’s the police’s job to keep it all together.’
But it’s not just about whodunnit according to Daniel, who told us: ‘I think that because of the way the drama unfolds and because you get involved of the lives of the families, it becomes a kind of side order to what’s going on.’
‘You’re grieving and hoping at the same time. We become fascinated by the lives as well. It’s a lot richer than a whodunit. I think that’s what’s going to appeal.’
The Bay airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV.

New ITV drama The Bay kicked off tonight and we have some questions (Picture: ITV)
*Warning, contains spoilers for The Bay!
ITV’s new drama The Bay kicked off tonight with Morvern Christie’s character Lisa Armstrong thrown right into the midst of a complicated missing persons case.
The family liason officer is on a mission to hunt down teenage twins Holly and Dylan, only to learn that she has a personal connection to the family which could compromise her and the investigation.
There’s a lot to unpack and here are all our questions from episode one.
Why did the twins run away?
Holly and Dylan’s disappearance was announced at the beginning of the episode and so far there’s no leads on why they vanished.
We know that Sean and Jess’s arguments might have played a factor, as well as the family’s mounting money issues.
We also know that there’s something shady happening in the town with the teens in general. Were they taunted out of their hometown?
Holly and Dylan went missing (Picture: ITV)
How did Dylan die?
Dylan’s body was found on the beach at the end of the episode.
The cause of his death is yet to be determined, so it remains unclear as tho whether he was murdered or accidentally got trapped in Morecambe Bay’s notorious waters as the tide came in.
How are Lisa’s children involved in the case?
Lisa’s daughter Abbie was seen texting another boy in the school called Sam about the twins being missing. Sam ignored the text and shortly after Abi was suspended.
Meanwhile, Lisa’s son Rob was seen having a worrying conversation on a chatroom with someone called ‘Bantasaurusrex.’
Bantasaurusrex was asking him to ‘prove’ something and he looked pretty damn worried. Is the mysterious user linked to Holly and Dylan’s disappearance?
Lisa’s children are somehow connected to the case (Picture: ITV)
Will Lisa confess to having a one-night stand with Sean?
It’s already becoming clear that Lisa’s lies about having a one-night stand with Sean are catching up with her.
How much more will she cover up before she’s forced to come clean.
Is the biological dad involved with the twins’ disappearance?
The twins’ biological dad brought himself in for questioning and revealed that he hadn’t seen his kids for 10 years.
He claimed that he wasn’t allowed access to the kids, saying that ‘things got messy’ in the divorce from Jess.
Is he lying about having contact with the twins? Has he taken them in some sort of sick revenge plan against Jess?
Lisa deleted the security footage from the night in question (Picture: ITV)
Will the security footage return?
Lisa downloaded the footage from the pub only a USB stick and took it to the police station.
We saw Lisa see herself on the tapes, and before she had a time to delete them, she had to go to the school to pick up her daughter Abbie who had been suspended.
She later deleted the file – but did she empty her desktop recycling bin? Will someone get their hands on the tapes and will they come back to bite her?
Margaret is definitely hiding something (Picture: ITV)
What’s Jess’s mum Margaret hiding?
Margaret is definitely not letting onto something about the twins’ vanishing act.
When Lisa asked her why she thought they ran away, she replied: ‘I wouldn’t blame them if they have.’
What does she know?
Is Sean guilty? (Picture: ITV)
Have they arrested the right man?
Sean was arrested at the end of the first episode for his shady behaviour, but was he the one whodunnit?
The twins’ biological dad has already planted the seed that the man’s a bad egg, telling the police: ‘Everything was alright. Me, Jess and the twins. Then she met him. Everything changed when she met him.
‘He’s bad news. She was never the same after she hooked up with him.’
BUT, we know that Sean’s only lied about his timeline of events because he got busy with Lisa and doesn’t want his night of passion to come out and destroy his marriage.
The Bay airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ITV.

Will the real Lorraine Kelly please stand up? (Picture: Rex)
Lorraine Kelly has won a legal case over tax payments by arguing that she does not appear on ITV each morning as herself but instead a persona called ‘Lorraine Kelly’.
‘We did not accept that Ms Kelly simply appeared as herself; we were satisfied that Ms Kelly presents a persona of herself,’ Judge Jennifer Dean ruled during the tax tribunal on Wednesday.
‘We should make clear we do not doubt that Ms Kelly is an entertaining lady, but the point is that for the time Ms Kelly is contracted to perform live on air she is public ‘Lorraine Kelly’,’ Judge Dean added.
‘She may not like the guest she interviews, she may not like the food she eats, she may not like the film she viewed but that is where the performance lies,’
‘She may not like the guest she interviews,’ said the judge (Picture: Rex)
Kelly had been hit with a £1.2million tax and national insurance bill from HMRC amid a crackdown by the revenue which argued TV presenters are employees of broadcasters, and should be subject to income tax and national insurance contributions.
However Kelly appealed the case, claiming that as she was not a direct employee of ITV as she was not entitled to benefits such as sick pay and pension; ITV’s contract is instead with personal services company Albatel Limited, a company for which Kelly and her husband are the directors and shareholders.
HMRC argued that if the contract had been between Kelly and ITV directly then in the 2016 tax year she would have paid £899,912 in taxes and £312,615 in NICs and so billed her for those sums.
However in response, Kelly told the court how she chose her own working hours for Lorraine – revealing she turned down an interview with Sir Elton John which required a live link from Australia at 4am – and how she also worked for other broadcasters and Avon as an ambassador.
Both HMRC and Albatel Limited call on the court to consider if agency fees would be tax deductible, which led to a discussion on her role on the 8.30am morning show on ITV, with the court deciding she was a ‘theatrical artist’ and that watching clips of Kelly’s work ‘gave us a clear impression of the tenor of the programmes’ and that they could not be viewed as current affairs shows.
A spokesperson for HMRC said: ‘We are disappointed that the first tier tribunal has decided that the intermediary rules (also known as IR35) did not apply in this case. We will carefully consider the outcome of the tribunal before deciding whether to appeal.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for ITV and Lorraine for comment.

Mindy Kaling has landed her own Netflix series inspired by her childhood (Picture: FilmMagic)
Mindy Kaling has landed her very own series on Netflix that will take inspiration from her childhood.
Twitter account See What’s Next – a Netflix US account bringing fans up to date news about the streaming service – confirmed the new series on Wednesday.
So far, all we know is that Mindy has co-created the ‘coming-of-age’ series with Lang Fisher – known for her work on The Mindy Project and Brooklyn Nine Nine – and the two will serve as showrunners, as well as writing and producing the show.
It’s been inspired by Mindy’s own childhood and is ‘about the complicated life of a modern-day first generation Indian American teenage girl’.
The show’s cast is yet to be confirmed and it’s not known whether Mindy will actually star in her own series, but we’ve no doubt we can expect plenty of belly laughs that usually come hand-in-hand with the star.
In the film, Mindy stars as a writer who gets a job on Tonight with Katherine Newbury, a major TV network late-night talk show whose British female host, played by Thompson, is is doubting the longevity of her career in an era of younger male hosts who use social media and fratboy comedy.
She’s said the movie’s spirit is about ‘women helping other women’ and it was snapped up by Amazon Studios at Sundance Film Festival for a record $13 million (£9.8 million).
It’s one of the film festival’s biggest deals, so you know, no biggie.

This cat was having none of it (Picture: Channel 4)
Channel 4 aired what it hoped was a thought-provoking look at porn and young people on Wednesday night – but it was a bored-looking cat, sat legs akimbo, that stole the whole show.
The show follows five mums of teenagers, working together to make a porn movie that shows sex in a different light and aims to change how porn shapes their views of sex from an early age.
Not today, thank you (Picture: Channel 4)
Early in the episode Jane, who has 19-year-old daughter and had never watched porn, realised she may need to see what was available for her to get an idea of what she could suggest for the final movie.
So she fired up her laptop and began watching online porn – with her cat sitting right behind her.
You couldn’t make it up.
The cat really wasn’t bothered (Picture: Channel 4)
The controversial Channel 4 documentary saw a group of mums unite to write, cast, and direct an ‘ethical’ adult film for their children – in response to the porn videos already out there.
‘A lot of mine have a bit of a niche of having a bitchy girlfriend who cheats on her boyfriend. Who wants to just watch “Oh they’re in bed having sex”? It’s boring.
‘So you need a bit sexy kissing, touching, and feeling, getting intimate. Then you need a bit of the hardcore to entice other people. So you need to have the whole package.’
The documentary has been criticised by Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford, who believes offering a sanitised version of porn won’t help the situation.
‘But making a sanitised version, for me, I don’t think it will help.’
The mother-of-one then went on to give her own view on how to combat ‘extreme porn’ and suggested: ‘You need to educate you boys in the real world.’
