A new patent for prescription glasses that can transmit data to a VR device has been discovered online and seems to hint at PSVR 2.
Regardless of its sales, PlayStation VR has been a huge success for Sony this generation, with dozens of high-quality exclusive games that have gained the company a huge amount of experience with VR in general.
As such it seems impossible to imagine they wouldn’t be planning a more sophisticated version for PlayStation 5, but so far there’s been no evidence of that – except this very strange patent for prescription glasses.
The idea behind it is to make sure people who wear glasses can properly use VR headsets with eye gaze-tracking, something the current PlayStation VR does not have.
Talk about over-engineering a solution
Wearing an extra pair of lenses can make it difficult for a headset to properly tracking the direction of your gaze, so the solution offered by the patent is for the prescription glasses’ own sensors to do the work instead.
The special VR-friendly glasses would detect whether you are wearing a VR headset and then transmit your gaze data, while making sure the headset’s internal camera knows the exact physical position of your glasses.
It all sounds absurdly overcomplicated, not to mention extremely expensive if you’re expected to buy an extra pair of prescription glasses (with built-in infrared LEDs and wireless connectivity) just to use VR.
We can’t see it ever becoming an actual product but the important thing here is that it’s proof Sony are researching a next gen VR headset and that certainly is something to get excited about.
However, it seems a brand new TV series has only exacerbated the drama, as Stephanie ripped into the Pratts, saying she will ‘expose them’ for who they really are.
Speaking on her iHeartRadio Pratt Cast podcast with Bachelor Nation’s Wells Adams, the 32-year-old said: ‘We are not on good terms. We are not on speaking terms. I do not consider them my family.’
Stephanie then claimed she clashed with Heidi, also 32, on the set of New Beginnings, saying: ‘We had our photo shoots for press and for the opening titles. We had three days of it that went to like 3 a.m. — they were long shoots. And Heidi had a bottle of champagne that she gave all the girls except for me.’
The reality star continued: ‘Before The Hills: New Beginnings, my mom, my brother and I all sat down and we said we will not let this ruin our family again. I’m done. I don’t care. I’m not protecting them anymore.
Stephanie says she no longer considers the pair family (Picture: Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock)
‘I’m also not going to pretend that Spencer and Heidi are good people like I was doing for most of the series for my parents… For the s*** they have done to me recently, I’m done. This is why I moved to London. I’m done. I cannot live near them.
‘They are the most toxic people I’ve ever met. They are Bonnie and Clyde till they die so if they say this sky is black, all of us are morons for saying it’s blue.’
And Steph wasn’t done yet.
She spewed: ‘I’m done. I’m done. I’m confident and secure enough in myself to not pussyfoot around them. I’m done. I’m going to expose them for who they are.’
Referencing her 18-month-old nephew Gunner, Stephanie said: ‘Heidi doesn’t want Spencer to have a relationship with anyone but her. And you know what? That’s fine. I don’t want a relationship with Spencer anymore. Gunner, I will miss the fact that I’m going to miss out on the cutest, cutest, cutest little boy’s early years but it’s not worth it.’
Heidi and Spencer are a divisive pairing (Picture: Karwai Tang/WireImage)
‘This is me actually exiting my family. I’ve tried to be nice to her for 10 years because I love my brother. It never changes. They flip the switch on me and I have no idea. … None of it makes sense.’
This comes just weeks after Stephanie claimed she had repaired her relationship with big brother Spencer, 35.
She told Fox News in March: ‘It’s so funny because the original Hills broke us up, and now the new Hills has totally brought us together — geographically and emotionally, and physically.’
Could it all be a publicity stunt for The Hills: New Beginnings, or did things go that far south in a month?
Stephanie initially fell out with her brother back in the Hills days over his erratic behaviour and relationship with Heidi, as well as her own friendship with Lauren Conrad.
Spencer and Heidi – known as Speidi – tied the knot in 2009, and have gone on to appear on two series of Celebrity Big Brother as a single entity.
Metro.co.uk has contacted Heidi and Spencer’s reps for comment.
The Hills: New Beginnings begins on 24 June.

The season finale has nearly arrived and it’s getting all too real (Picture: NBC)
As bummed out as we are about The Big Bang Theory ending in a few weeks, no one’s going to be feeling the loss more than the cast members – and Kaley Cuoco is definitely feeling the realness of it all as it comes to a close.
The revelation of the new poster, officially marking the end of the show, has got Kaley all kinds of emotional, and as she shared the posters online she admitted that she wasn’t quite ready for the series to end.
Wanting to make sure that she doesn’t miss a thing in the final few months of her life with the nerds, Kaley has been documenting every moment she can on her Instagram – which is all equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking.
Playing Penny since the start of the show all the way back in 2007, Kaley has seen the wannabe actress/Cheesecake Factory waitress become a pharmaceutical sales rep – and a dang good one at that!
She’s also turned away from all the preppy boys messing with her head and instead turn her attention to her literal boy-next-door, Leonard.
Kaley got a shocker when she saw the new giant poster on her way to work (Picture: Instagram)
But it’s not all fun and games as Kaley is not the only one having an emotional time getting ready to let go of what’s been her life for the past 12 years.
Kaley has been documenting the show’s final moments for months (Picture: WireImage)
‘When we were shooting on Monday, it was the fifth last episode we were shooting, before we started shooting the scene I had this real pit in my stomach,’ Kunal began.
‘Not nerves or butterflies – I’m not even sure what it was. I was anxious.
‘I finished Monday and shot on Tuesday, same thing, and then I had a week off and the whole week I was like, “What is that? What is that?” and I just realised that I was sad. I’m just sad.’
Kunal continued: ‘It’s okay to accept that. I think that I was just protecting myself in some way to not experience those emotions. I’m not walking around moping, but I am sad.’
Don’t mind us, we’ve just got something in our eyes that’s making it look like we’re uncontrollably crying.
The Big Bang Theory continues Thursdays on CBS.

Taylor Swift has donated over $100,000 to a local LGBTQ group (Picture: Getty)
Taylor Swift has donated $113,000 (£87,000) to the Tennessee Equality Project, an LGBTQ rights group working against a series of bills which are said to target LGBTQ people.
In a letter sent to the charity’s executive director Chris Sanders, Taylor shared that she was ‘so inspired by the work you do, specifically in organizing the recent petition of Tennessee faith leaders standing up against the “Slate of Hate” in our state legislature’.
‘I’m so grateful that they’re giving all people a place to worship,’ she added.
The Blank Space singer’s handwritten note was gifted alongside the donation, and Chris shared the note on the charity’s Facebook page.
‘Taylor Swift has been a long-time ally to the LGBTQ community. She sees our struggle in Tennessee and continues to add her voice with so many good people, including religious leaders, who are speaking out for love in the face of fear,’ wrote Chris.
‘Tennessee Equality Project is honored and grateful to reveal Taylor Swift has made a donation of $113,000 to support our efforts at this critical moment.
‘See her attached note in the photo. I will add a fuller image description tonight. For now, I will note that she in particular was glad to see so many faith leaders in Tennessee speak out.’
Among the bills included on the so-called ‘Slate of Hate’ are ones permitting adoption agencies to discriminate against same-sex couples and another preventing state or local government agencies from considering a business’s nondiscrimination policies when choosing contractors.
Her donation comes six months after she broke her decade-long political silence (Picture: FilmMagic)
The pop star has notoriously shied away from ever pledging allegiance to a political party and has never made it public who she has voted for in a US election but ahead of the 2018 election she told fans that it was time to speak out because of ‘several events in my life and in the world in the past two years’.
She also revealed she would be voting Democrat, clearing up rumours that she voted Republican, and claimed that among her reasons for speaking out was the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG’.
Thrown by Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, the event works towards better equality among LGBTQ youths.

Richard Hammond didn’t recognise his wife Mindy after his near-fatal Top Gear crash in 2006 (Picture: Getty)
Top Gear’s Richard Hammond’s wife Mindy has revealed that her husband didn’t recognise her after his near-death accident in 2006 left him with memory loss.
Mindy, who wed The Grand Tour presenter back in 2002, recalled the ‘disconcerting’ moment her partner forgot who she not long after he lost control of a dragstar vehicle while travelling at 288mph.
‘It was disconcerting when, early after the crash, Richard looked at me from his hospital bed and said: “You’re lovely, but you’re not my wife,”‘ she penned in The Telegraph.
‘When I corrected him, he responded: “No, you’re not my wife, my wife is French.”‘

Richard was left in a coma for a fortnight following the high-speed wreck, which happened at the former RAF Elvington base near York, with co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May often visiting his bedside.
The near-fatal crash occurred when one of the front wheels failed and it left Richard with depression and head injuries.
He told Radio Times: ‘I was difficult on shoots, losing my temper, feeling threatened by everything, very defensive.
‘I massively needed to know if the crash was my fault, because I’d risked the girls growing up without their dad.’
Richard crashed again in 2017 while filming The Grand Tour (Picture: Facebook)
He managed to crawl out of the Croatian electric supercar after the vehicle had flipped, narrowly escaping with his life before it burst into flames, with co-hosts Jeremy and James watching on in horror.
Apologising to his family from his hospital bed, he said: ‘I’m here in a hospital in Switzerland. This is my knee that they’re going to turn from [holding up an X-ray] this into this, giving me a Swiss Army knee. Hopefully later today.
‘I’d like to thank all of the medical professionals who got me by air ambulance to the hospital and have dealt with me ever since.
‘I’d also like to say thank you to James May who smuggled in a bottle of gin for me last night – I shouldn’t have said that out loud – and most importantly sorry to my wife Mindy and my daughters Izzy and Willow. I’m sorry for being such a colossal…Thank you. More news later.’
The Grand Tour season three continues this Friday on Amazon Prime while season four is expected to follow in 2020.

Fires smouldering after Slash and burn agriculture of dry baobab forest in Madagascar in Our Planet Photo: Jeff Wilson.Silverback/Netflix
Since dropping on the streaming site last week (April 5), Netflix’s Our Planet has taken viewers on an emotional rollercoaster.
From stranded baby flamingos to tragic walrus deaths, Sir David Attenborough knows how to pull on the heartstrings while delivering spectacular shots of diverse wilderness around the world.
So beautiful are some of the shots, however, that some fans can’t believe parts of the series are not animated.
It took four years to film Our Planet in 50 countries across all the continents of the world.
According to Netflix, over 600 members of crew worked to capture more than 3,500 filming days.
The result is a mesmerising exploration of different landscapes and habitats, with cinematography so stunning, it’s hard to believe certain shots were captured with a camera and not animated.

Fans have taken to Twitter to share their disbelief at Our Planet’s gorgeous episodes.
One fan wrote: ‘watch our planet on netflix and tell me it doesn’t look animated. i’ve never seen camera quality that magnificent in my life.’ [sic]
While another added: ‘Are you watching @ourplanet? Some of the best cinematography I’ve ever seen. Some parts are so clear, smooth, and colourful they look animated.’
The series was produced in partnership with Silverback Films who specialise in high-quality wildlife films and shot Our Planet using the latest in 4K camera technology.

The cinematography was also helped by 4K drone technology, which was helpful for filming at sea.
GQ reports that the team used specialist diving equipment known as Rebreathers.
‘Now we can spend four, five, six hours underwater without disturbing the animals. The change has been fundamental; underwater filming has become almost as easy as filming on land,’ producer Keith Scholey told the publication.
Another producer Alastair Fothergill added: ‘With the drone, you can launch the drone in a couple of minutes and you get amazing images, like a sequence of gannets diving off Maracas.’
Peppa Pig fans ‘left in tears as horror trailer is shown at cinema before film’ (Picture: Channel 5)
Peppa Pig fans were said to have been left in tears after a horror trailer was reportedly played at the cinema before the animated movie.
It’s claimed that both the superhero thriller Brightburn, and psychological movie Ma were advertised before the children’s film.
Both trailers include disturbing scenes, such as dead bodies, men being struck by cars and even a scary mask – don’t mention Momo.
Excited children who had turned up to the Empire Cinema, in Ipswich, are said to have started crying before Peppa Pig entered the screen.
And we can’t blame them.
One mum, had treated her two-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son to the viewing, was shocked to see the trailers.
The BBC journalist said: ‘There were lots of kids crying and she was very confused and started crying too.’

Empire is investigating (Picture: Universal Pictures)
Since then, a spokesperson for Empire told Metro.co.uk: ‘We are investigating how an inappropriate trailer was played before a screening of Peppa Pig at our Ipswich Cinema for which we apologise.
‘As soon as the staff on site were made aware of the situation, the programme was stopped and trailers were taken off-screen immediately.’
The statement continued: ‘We do sincerely apologise for this and for any distress caused and will be reviewing our internal procedures to ascertain how this came to being.
‘The film (Peppa Pig) did then go on screen as planned.’
YouTube said it had not received any evidence of the challenge on its site.
This isn’t the first time pre-Peppa videos have scared children (Picture: Twitter)
But Haslingden Primary School in Rossendale, near Blackburn, has posted a warning to parents on its Facebook page.
It said: ‘We have become increasingly aware of highly inappropriate videos circulating online and are being viewed by children across the school.
‘These video clips are appearing on many social media sites and YouTube (including Kids YouTube).
‘One of the videos starts innocently, like the start of a Peppa Pig episode for example, but quickly turn into an altered version with violence and offensive language.’
A YouTube spokesperson also echoed the same message in a statement, which read: ‘We have not received any evidence of videos showing or promoting the Momo challenge on YouTube.
‘Content of this kind would be in violation of our policies and removed immediately.’

Felicity has pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to allow her daughter to cheat on an exam (Picture: EPA)
Felicity Huffman may face up to 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to bribery in a college admissions scam.
The Desperate Housewives actress yesterday pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 (£11,400) to a fake charity associated with Rick Singer to facilitate cheating for her daughter on the SATs.
And while her plea will reduce the 20 months in prison she could have faced, reports claim the 56-year-old will still face time behind bars.
According to CNN, federal prosecutors recommended incarceration at the ‘low end’ of the sentencing range, a $20,000 (£15,200) fine and 12 months of supervised release.
‘Low end’ could mean between four and 10 months, although TMZ claims Huffman’s team will argue for sentencing between zero and six months.
The actress said she was ashamed of her actions (Picture: Trae Patton/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank)
The judge has received recommendations from prosecutors, but the judge will have the final say in sentencing.
However, reports claim that Full House star Lori Loughlin – who is yet to submit a plea – and her husband Mossimo Gianulli are in a far worse position, and could face a minimum of two years in prison.
Felicity, who has two children with husband William H Macy, was one of 14 people who entered pleas yesterday, and issued a statement saying she was ‘ashamed’ of the pain she had caused.
She said: ‘I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.
‘I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community. I want to apologise to them and, especially, I want to apologise to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly.
‘My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her. This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life. My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty.’

When is BTS’ Map Of The Soul: Persona album released?
The Bangtan Boys’ new album is coming out this Friday, 12 April 2019.
We now know that there will be seven songs on the album, including Persona, which has already been released, and Boy With Luv, featuring Halsey, the teaser for which was released this week.
The rest of the songs on Map Of The Soul: Persona are Mikrokosmos, Make It Right, HOME, Jamais Vu and Dionysus.
Map Of The Soul: Persona is currently available to pre-order in the UK on Amazon, so get a shift on, because if trying to get tickets to their Wembley concerts in June taught us anything, it’s that most things BTS are likely to sell out fast.
The Fargo actor, who has been married to the Desperate Housewives star since 1997, looked solemn as he held his glasses in his hand, wandering through a parking garage.
The snaps of the 69-year-old come after Felicity pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and services mail fraud, according to TMZ.
She, and a number of high-profile parents including Fuller House’s Lori Loughlin, were alleged to have become embroiled in an admissions scam to get their children into elite universities.
Felicity is said to have paid former admissions counselor Rick Singer a total of $15,000 (£11,400) to rig her daughter’s SAT test. Her daughter reportedly had twice the amount of time than other students typically do to take the exam.
It is then claimed that her answers were changed to the correct ones after it had been completed.

The 56-year-old went on to insist that her daughter didn’t know anything about the scam, saying: ‘My daughter knew absolutely nothing wrong about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her.
‘This transgression toward her and the public I will carry for the rest of my life.’
A source revealed: ‘She is very angry with her parents. She just wants to figure out how she can rebuild her brand.
‘She would have never gone along with it if she thought this would happen. Her thing is that she trusted her parents,’ they told People. ‘Olivia spends most of her time with close friends and her boyfriend.’

The BBC Three show – which has been airing on BBC One in a late night slot – had viewers feeling all kinds of emotions over its bittersweet ending, as its title character literally bid farewell to the viewers.
If you’ve not yet seen it, here’s what you’ve been missing out on.
What is Fleabag?
The show was created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge who also stars as the title character (whose real name is never revealed), an angry, emotionally repressed thirtysomething having to cope with life while coming to terms with her best friend’s death.
She also has to deal with her family, including her uptight sister Claire (Sian Clifford) and horrific godmother (Olivia Colman), who is set to marry her widowed dad (Bill Paterson).
Phoebe Waller-Bridge plays the troubled title character (Picture: BBC)
The series is based on Waller-Bridge’s one-woman show of the same name which she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013.
It’s become a fan favourite for its spiky, dark humour and inventive writing, as well as the performances from the likes of Waller-Bridge and Colman.
The show is also notable for Fleabag’s habit of ‘breaking the fourth wall’ to address the audience directly.
What happened in the end of Fleabag?
Season two of the show saw Fleabag discovering religion and growing close to a priest (Andrew Scott) – with the pair sleeping together at the end of episode five.
The finale took place on the day of her dad’s wedding to her godmother, with the pair kissing once again.
Andrew Scott’s priest has been a key part of the second season (Picture: BBC)
It also saw Claire leave her husband Martin (Brett Gelman) for a Finnish co-worker, after confessing that a miscarriage Fleabag claimed to have suffered at a dinner party (which was seen in the first episode) was actually hers.
The poignant final scene saw Fleabag and the priest meet one final time at a deserted bus stop before he walked away, and she eventually did the same – waving goodbye to the camera as though to suggest she no longer needed to talk directly to those watching.
Where can you watch Fleabag?
Both series one and series two are now available on BBC iPlayer.

Kate Beckinsale’s brand new ITV drama The Widow kicked off on Monday night, but audiences were fuming before it even began.
Blood boiled across the nation ahead of the debut episode as the broadcaster’s announcer said the leading cast member and Hollywood A-lister’s name wrong, causing uproar on social media.
Rather than stating Kate’s name as it’s spelled the voiceover added in a ‘D’, transforming it into ‘Beckinsdale’.
Angry viewers complained over this mispronunciation on Twitter, slamming: ‘Do you think the announcer for @ITV could get Kate Beckinsale’s name right just once… There is no D in her surname.’

The AMC team have confirmed season five has been delayed (Picture: AMC)
Better Call Saul season 5 has officially been delayed and now we won’t be able to catch up with the dodgy lawyer until at least 2020.
The Breaking Bad spin-off has been confirmed by the team as being held off in order to accommodate the ‘talent’s needs’.
Sarah Barnett, AMC president, confirmed the news to Vulture and said: ‘It’s driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show.’
As the series, which is set before the world of Breaking Bad, edges towards its inevitable conclusion – an introduction to a one Walter White, Sarah said not to ive up hope just yet.
‘The writers, they have a very particular, very clear sense of the arc of their show…We’re certainly getting closer to it,’ she added.
The show tells the tale of life before Breaking Bad (Picture: AMC)
Though it hasn’t been confirmed officially, Revenge of The Fans claim to have seen the official cast list, and states Bryan Cranston will reprise his role as antihero Walter White, alongside Todd, Badger and Skinny Pete.
While Cranston hasn’t been given the all-official go-ahead, he’s made no secret about his want to be involved in the new project, despite the teacher-turned-Heisenberg-the-drug-dealer’s fate.
He previously said: ‘This idea, from what I’m told, gets into those – at least a couple of the character show were not completed, as far as their journey.
‘I don’t know if there’s an appearance – flashbacks, flash forwards – but I’m excited about it because it’s Breaking Bad and it was the greatest professional period of my life and I can’t wait to see all those people again, even if I just come by to visit.’
Better Call Saul is available to catch-up with on Netflix.

Review-bombing is not a new concept on Steam, but it is becoming a more and more common way for fans to express their displeasure with a particular company or franchise.
All it involves is large numbers of fans getting together and giving over-the-top negative reviews for an existing game, usually to protest a title that’s not out yet or a publisher or developer in general.
Because the protests are so low tech they’re very hard to counter, but Valve has finally introduced ‘off-topic reviews’ marking, following the review-bombing of 2012 title Borderlands 2.
Borderlands 2 is the first game on Steam to make use of the "off-topic reviews" marking. Over 4000 reviews are excluded from the rating calculation. pic.twitter.com/kUMN0Lqdx3
Borderlands 2 was targeted because developer Gearbox decided to make upcoming sequel Borderlands 3 a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store.
But it isn’t just fans that have gotten angry about the situation, as Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford took to Twitter to complain about Steam and said that he would, ‘reconsider Gearbox Publishing’s current posture on the platform’.
The annoucement of using off-topic reviews marking with Borderlands 2 came only hours later, although whether it was a direct reaction to Pitchford’s tweet or not is unclear.
But while Steam’s new review system may satisfy disgruntled publishers and developers, who feel their games are being unfairly targeted, nothing seems capable of stopping the increasing flood of PC games that are signing up for Epic Games Store exclusivity.
Ironically, that this misuse is possible and that Steam has no interest in correcting this misuse makes me kind of happy about 2k’s decision and makes me want to reconsider Gearbox Publishing’s current posture on the platform.
Channel 4’s comedy series Derry Girls is about to leave our TV screens as its second season draws to a close.
Season two has been just as funny as the first, with highlights including a trip to see Take That in Belfast, drama at a family wedding and the final episode is a fashion dream as the Derry Girls attend a 50s themed prom.
But if you’ve never seen the show or you’re behind and need to catch up, fear not. We have all the information you need on how to watch Derry Girls so you don’t miss out…
Is Derry Girls on Netflix – and where else can you watch it?
Sadly, Derry Girls is not on Netflix.
Season one was introduced on the streaming giant’s platform last year but has now been removed.
However, it’s likely season two, which started airing on 5 March, will be added eventually – though there has not been a date announced yet.
It features six episodes and is currently only available for viewing on C4 On Demand.
Given it took just under a year for season one to show up on Netflix, it’s no wonder that they’re stalling a bit.
In the meantime, if you’re desperate for a good British series, you’ve got the Crown and Peaky Blinders to watch (or rewatch) on Netflix.
The teaser ends with a shot of the boyband swivelling on the spot and pointing into the air at a neon sign reading ‘Love’. The lighting means we only see darkened silhouettes of RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jungkook, Jimin and V, which only makes the situation more confusing.
Jimin, second from the left, looks like he’s turning to face the camera – but his feet seem to be pointing backwards.
And nobody can quite agree on which way he’s actually turning:
Clever clogs who increased the brightness of the picture show that due to Jimin being rather faceless once the light is amped up, he seems to be standing with his back to the camera – but that still doesn’t explain the turn.
So, we ask the ARMY:
This riddle may get answered when we get the full video for Boy With Luv this Friday, when BTS’s new album Map Of The Soul: Persona drops.
In addition to the Halsey collaboration and the RM solo track Persona, the album includes the songs Mikrokosmos, Make It Right, HOME, Jamais Vu and Dionysus.
Those titles are pretty intriguing – Dionysus is the god of the grape-harvest, winemaking and wine, of fertility, ritual madness, religious ecstasy and theatre in Greek mythology, while Mikrokosmos is the name of a series of piano pieces by Béla Bartók.
However, ARMYs have theorised that Mikrokosmos actually translates to mean ‘the whole of a complex structure, especially the world or the universe, contrasted with a small or representative part of it’.
Meanwhile, Jamais Vu is like the opposite of deja vu.
We stan intellectuals.

Jodie Comer had an awkward conversation about her Doctor Foster accent on The Ellen Show (Picture: Backgrid)
Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer had a painfully awkward encounter about her Doctor Foster accent on The Ellen Show on Monday.
The 26-year-old Liverpool native, who plays Killing Eve assassin Villanelle, was grilled by Ellen DeGeneres over her different dialects over the years, with the presenter beginning: ‘Sandra Oh when I meet you I’m going to be shocked by your accent.
‘I am so shocked to hear that, because in Doctor Foster you had an American accent, right?’
‘No she was British…’ replied Jodie, awkwardly noting: ‘Oh, I didn’t do a good job there.’
Jodie explained: ‘She was British, she was from London.’
The actress played Doctor Foster’s Kate Parks, a 23-year-old University graduate who had been secretly having a two-year affair with 40-year-old property developer Simon Foster (Bertie Carvel).
Moving the conversation on to Killing Eve and her character Villanelle, Jodie said: ‘She has a lot of accents and languages.
‘And in the audition process I was like “oh yeah, fine”, and then when I got on set it was like, “oh, this is real!”‘
But Ellen wasn’t quite over his mistake and brought it up once more at the end of their interview, laughing: ‘I loved you in Doctor Foster… even though I forgot which country you came from!’
Killing Eve returned to the small-screen in the US last night and has already been renewed for a third season.
Sarah Barnett, President, Entertainment Networks for AMC Networks, confirmed the news and said: ‘We love having this show and the brilliant Sandra Oh, Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw on our networks.
‘Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Emerald Fennell have delivered two addictively entertaining seasons.
‘As we did last year, we’re renewing Killing Eve right out of the gate, now with Suzanne Heathcote as lead writer, as a sign of confidence – we adore this show as much as our fans do.
‘Killing Eve doesn’t do anything in a templated way; we love giving opportunity to three genius women to make their mark.’
The Ellen Show airs Mondays on NBC in the US.

We hope all you Killing Eve fans are patient types – because it’s been confirmed that it could be months before season two finally airs in the UK.
The hype has been all too real for the new episodes, with the show returning to BBC America on Sunday night.
However, a UK date still hasn’t been announced, and the BBC have now said that they could be waiting until all eight episodes have aired in the US until they’re brought over here.
A spokesperson told The Guardian: ‘BBC America are playing it out in weekly episodes.
‘This means we have to wait until BBC America have premiered all of the weekly episodes – which as commissioning broadcaster they are entitled to do – before we can begin our transmission, otherwise we would be premiering episodes before them.’
So…this means a minimum wait on our hands of two months.
Sorry, babies.

Just when we thought Killing Eve couldn’t get any darker, Sandra Oh has promised fans even more darkness as the season unfolds.
Speaking at the LA premiere, she said: ‘For me, for Eve, it’s definitely about going darker, really going darker and being even more pushed to the limit.
‘In some ways, it’s like in season one Eve is kind of opening up and beginning to figure things out and season two is going right down,’ added Sandra.
‘It’s almost like season one she’s like “there’s some kind of rabbit hole, what is that?”. She plunges into it in season two.’
Killing Eve season 1 is available now on BBC iPlayer.

Oops! Louise’s phone went off live on air (Picture: PA/BBC)
BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin experienced a bit of a hiccup this morning as her phone went off while live on air.
The host, 50, was left red-faced after her phone started blasting music from her new podcast but took the incident in her stride.
She gasped: ‘Goodness me, sorry. God, that is so embarrassing. How have I done that?’
Louise and her co-star Dan Walker had just finished an interview with Justice Secretary David Gauke when the phone started playing tunes.
She then proceeded to jokingly storm out of the studio, teasing: ‘I’m literally going to have to walk off set,’ as Dan told viewers ‘she’s embarrassed’.
He was also heard plugging his co-host’s new venture, adding: ‘That’s Louise’s new podcast, The TriPod,’ before the camera cut to a live segment in Glasgow.
The podcast in question, The Tripod, was launched by Louise on BBC Radio Manchester yesterday.
A dedicated triathlete, Louise will discuss the world of triathlons in the nine-week series alongside co-host an athlete Annie Emmerson.

When Louise joined Dan back on set she admitted she was ‘properly embarrassed’.
‘How have I done that? I genuinely don’t know what I did. I apologise profusely.’
Dan told the audience: ‘Back in the studio, Louise is still a little bit embarrassed by the fact she sat on her phone and played her own programme.’
She later tweeted: ‘Oh my gosh! My phone is out of control. #apologies I think a banning order might be in order.’
BBC saw the funny side too (Picture: Twitter/BBC)
One viewer queried whether the incident was a ‘shameless plug’ to promote her podcast, but Louise replied saying it was accidental and she couldn’t have ‘timed it better’.
Despite the good timing, fans didn’t seem to mind, with one tweeting: ‘The best thing that happened this morning. Shows it can happen to us all. #simplythebest.’
BBC Breakfast airs every morning at 6am on BBC One.
