The 10-part thriller sees the 49-year-old Bridget Jones actress play a manipulative venture capitalist named Anne Montgomery, who offers couple Sean (played by Blake Jenner) and Lisa (Jane Levy) financial help in exchange for sex.
And it turns out Renée’s character was based on Mrs Robinson from the 1967 film The Graduate.
‘Mrs. Robinson was a really, really, pretty telling prototype,’ Renée told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘So, we went from there and of course he had suggested, well, we’ll subvert the trajectory of that character.
‘Let’s just say you take all that power and self-loathing and instead of channeling it into alcoholism. What if she did something proactive? What if, say, she builds an empire.’
Anne Bancroft played Mrs Robinson in the classic film by Mike Nichols, which follows the story of an older woman seducing a college graduate.
Renée continued to the publication: ‘It’s only on when it serves her. Warmth is a tool. And she’s very contained and calculated, meticulously to how she presents herself.
Anne Bancroft played Mrs Robinson in the 1967 film The Graduate (Picture: Getty Images)
‘It’s funny to consider that she’s so completely contained and tightly wound because [it’s] a part of her or a necessity for perfection. It was pretty clear to me who she is through my conversations with Mike [Kelley] and who’s he wanting her to be.
‘Her sense of entitlement is extraordinary.
‘Her ambition and that everything is a tool including her sexuality, which she leads with unapologetically so uses to manipulate.
‘So those things were necessary to tap into. And what does that look like? Well she takes up a lot of room but at the same time she has to be groomed.’
What/If is available to stream on Netflix.

Kris Jenner has denied ever having sex with OJ Simpson (Picture: Getty/ AP)
OJ Simpson’s former manager claims the disgraced athlete boasted about having rough sex with Kris Jenner in a hot tub.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has consistently denied ever having sex with OJ, as rumours of him being the ‘real father’ of 34-year-old Khloe Kardashian has failed to die down over the years.
But according to his ex-manager Norman Pardo, OJ once boasted that he ‘f***ed that B until I broke her’ in a hot tub in the 1990s, the New York Post reports.
Norman made the claim in his documentary Who Killed Nicole?, referring to OJ ‘s ex-wife, whom the football player was controversially acquitted of killing.
While Norman was working with OJ, he collected about 70 hours of footage of him for a potential reality show, but he has now put it in his film, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Norman has re-told this hot tub story for some years now, retailing it during an interview with the National Enquirer in 2017.
When the alleged jacuzzi encounter was supposed to have occurred, Kris was married to OJ’s lawyer and friend Robert Kardashian Snr. while OJ was married to Nicole.

Norman claims that the tale describes all four of them enjoying the hot tub together, but then Robert Snr. and Nicole left, and OJ reportedly took advantage of his alone time with Kris to make a move.
‘OJ said he stood up, pulled his shorts down and, I’ll give you exactly what he said: “Her eyes bugged out of her head and I f***ed that B until I broke her,”‘ said Norman.
The New York Post, who obtained the clips, quotes Norman as adding: ‘That was as messed up as you can possibly get.’
Nicole Brown Simpson filed for divorce from her husband OJ (Photo by Ron Galella/WireImage)
OJ then reportedly said that ‘they had to take her to the hospital at 2 or 3 in the morning’ after he had enjoyed the passionate session with Kris.
‘[Kris] came to [OJ’s] room and said: “Can you take me to the hospital?” He said: “No. Have Rob do it,”‘ Norman said in the documentary.
Kris and Robert Snr., who shared Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Jnr, ended their marriage in 1991, and in February the following year, Nicole filed for divorce from her own husband.
Speaking of their marriages, Norman added: ‘From what I’m understanding, from what OJ told me, everything was great up until [the] little fling that they had.’
Although in 1989, OJ had beaten Nicole to the point she had to be hospitalised and four months later pleaded no contest to spousal battery.
Fast forward to 1995 and Robert is on the legal team that aided OJ’s acquittal for the murder of both Nicole and her Ron Goldman.
OJ Simpson has denied he is Khloe’s biological father (Picture: Getty)
Kris told TMZ’s Harvey Levin that she cheated on Robert with a football player and she maintained to In Touch that she did not sleep with OJ.
As for the rumours that OJ fathered Khloe, who was already born at the time of the alleged hot tub incident, the mother-of-one has made fun of them herself on Twitter.
OJ understood they were hinting at his alleged paternity and shot down the rumours.
He said: ‘For Bob [Robert Kardashian], god bless his soul, yeah. But I don’t know for me. I don’t think for me, I have nothing to do with it. Khloe and the girls were all terrific girls when they were growing up, nice and terrific, and I think today they’re still nice and terrific – except they’ve kinda added sex appeal to their resume.
‘I’m happy for ’em. Congratulations to her, but trust me – I have nothing to do with it. I would be proud if I had anything to do with it, but I don’t.’
So that’s that then.
Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for OJ Simpson and Kris Jenner for comment.

Drake is really enthusiastic about the Toronto Raptors (Picture: Getty Images)
It seems Drake just can’t be tamed as the rapper couldn’t hold back his excitement when the Toronto Raptors made it through to the NBA championship finals last night.
The In My Feelings rapper leapt up from his courtside seat and literally burst with happiness as his home team sailed through to the finals for the first time in history.
Drake, 32, was seen punching his hands in the air and pulling all kinds of moves and animated facial expressions as he celebrated the Raptors’ victory against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night.
He was then seen giving the Raptors’ star player Kawhi Leonard a big bear hug, clearly overwhelmed with joy.
It comes in the midst of criticism Drake has received for his exaggerated courtside antics during the Eastern Conference Finals, sparking a feud between the rapper and the Bucks.
Fans have been highly amused by Drizzy’s show of support for the Raptors, which included giving the team’s actual coach, Nick Nurse, a shoulder massage during a tense moment earlier this month. He was also caught laughing at Bucks player Giannis Antetokounmpo’s missed free throws, which isn’t exactly gracious towards the rival team.
The Bucks’ head coach Mike Budenholzer then slammed Drake in a scathing tirade, accusing the rapper of ‘disrespectful’ behaviour during the games.
Drake’s celebratory dance is everything (Picture: Getty Images)
Budenholzer said: ‘I don’t know of any person attending the game that isn’t a player or coach that has access to the court.
‘I don’t know how much he’s on the court. It sounds like you guys are saying a lot… There’s certainly no place for fans — or whatever exactly is what Drake is for the Raptors — on the court. There’s boundaries and lines for a reason. The league is pretty good about that.’
Giannis’ rep, Georgios Dimitropoulos, is also said to have written on Instagram: ‘Imagine a gig & an athlete on VIP seats, right next to the band, stands up on the stage just to show off during the entire game, knowing cameras are on him, occasionally even massaging the singer.
‘Security&him both allow it. Never seen anything as disrespectful as this before [sic].’
Drake seems undeterred by the criticism – clearly, judging by last night’s antics – and shared a photo of his excited face with a laughing emoji.
He even posted photos of Bucks fans wearing Pusha T t-shirts in an attempt to troll Drizzy over his feud with the rapper.

Meek Mill has accused a Vegas hotel of racism and threatening to arrest him (Picture: Getty Images)
Meek Mill has accused a Las Vegas hotel of racially discriminating against him, after turning him away from a concert and threatening to have him arrested.
The rapper, 32, had rocked up to the Cosmopolitan hotel on the strip for a DJ Mustard gig on Saturday, but wasn’t allowed inside by security.
Meek claims he was told he was ‘trespassing’ and would be arrested if he tried to enter the hotel.
The All Eyes On You artist took to Twitter to vent his frustration over the incident and insisted his denied entry was racially motivated.
However, the hotel told Metro.co.uk in a statement when pressed on the racism allegations: ‘As a matter of company policy, we do not comment on legal matters. Our guests’ safety and security always remains our top priority.’
In his rant, Meek wrote: ‘If you come from our culture you should never step foot in the cosmopolitan hotel they just really racist as hell …. something really has to be done in Las Vegas what they doing to black people!’
Meek explained that he had been to the Cosmopolitan once before for a Jay-Z concert and was allowed in ‘without incident’.
‘They telling black rappers they are banned from properties they own without incident … they just told me I was trespassing and I will be arrested I stepped in that hotel once at a jayz party without incident,’ he tweeted.
‘The cosmopolitan hotel …. and it’s a few other hotels that be doing this to black entertainers because they don’t want too many blacks on they property! Vegas notorious for this too its not just me,’ Meek claimed.
He also threatened legal action against the hotel, adding: ‘I needs lawyers ASAP y’all not gone treat me like I’m just a rapper and expect me to be quiet.’
Meek’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, agreed with the star’s claims he was racially discriminated against and told TMZ that the decision to ban Meek ‘came from above’.
Tacopina alleged he spoke with a ‘well-placed person inside the hotel’ who told him a group of hotels in Vegas have ‘tried to keep rappers’ away from their establishments.
Metro.co.uk have reached out to Meek Mill’s rep.

Millie explained that Tommy wasn’t even a fan of the ITV2 reality show, which kicks off in less than a fortnight, and allegedly wouldn’t let her watch it when they were together.
‘Going on this show is supposedly against everything he claimed to stand for,’ she began to the Star on Sunday.
‘He wouldn’t even like me watching the programme and would say the girls were disgusting because of their lip fillers and Botox. He hates all that.
‘When we were together, he wouldn’t want me wearing make-up, short skirts or dresses or anything low-cut that showed any kind of cleavage. He’s very strict about that sort of thing.
‘But clearly he’s a liar. All he is after is money and fame – he’s a fake and a phoney.’
Millie and Tommy were together for two years (Picture: Facebook)
Speaking about her split from Tommy, Millie admitted: ‘I was gutted, I really loved him – especially since it was me and my family who supported him and helped him get where he is.
‘I paid for everything for Tommy because he didn’t have a job. He left school in the eighth grade and had no qualifications.
‘I even had to buy my own Christmas and birthday presents from him.’
Sources have revealed that Casa Amor is set to return to the series, but will be used to spice up the contestants’ relationships rather than hindering them.
Love Island launches Monday 3 June on ITV2.

Each semi-final will see two acts make it to the final on Sunday 2 June – the winner of that night’s public vote, followed by one act chosen by the judges from the next two most popular.
And among those who will be performing across the week include this year’s five Golden Buzzer acts – Flakefleet Primary School Choir, Kojo Anim, Akshat Singh, Giorgia Borg and Chapter 13.
Two of them will be competing in Monday night’s show – but who will be joining them in their bid to win a place in the final?
Here’s who you’ll be watching – and voting for – on Monday night.
The first Golden Buzzer of the series, David Walliams hit the magic button for Flakefleet Primary and their headteacher Dave McPartlin, who wowed everybody with their literal reworking of Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now – costumes, props and all. Walliams called their act ‘one of the most joyous things I’ve ever seen’, after breaking down in tears watching them.
Brian Gilligan
Singer Brian Gilligan tugged at a fair few heartstrings earlier in the series with his emotional rendition of Lady Gaga’s I’ll Never Love Again. He’s no stranger to the West End stage, but how will he fare on the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final stage?
The Haunting
In a series which has had no shortage of impressive magicians, Elizabeth Best – the brains behind this seriously creepy act – succeeded in scaring the living daylights out of Amanda Holden and everybody else with her haunted theatre illusion in the first show of the series. Our nerves have only just recovered in time to see what she has in store for us this time.
KNE
Dance troupe KNE had everybody fooled in the final auditions show of the series this weekend, with member Kyle initially appearing to be a singer and pianist before other dancers appeared for a high energy routine. What will they bring us in the live shows?
Rosie and Adam
One of the more daring acts of the series, rollerskating duo Rosie and Adam showed off some impressive acrobatics and dance moves on wheels earlier in the series – winning a well-deserved semi-final place.
Tony Rudd
BGT doesn’t have too many impressionists this year but this one made enough of an impression (ahem) to make it through to the live shows. Tony Rudd’s rapid-fire act saw him deftly impersonate everybody from Michael McIntyre to the Minions (the outfit might just be a bit of a giveaway there) – and no doubt he’ll have even more gems up his yellow sleeves for the semi-final.
Akshat Singh – GOLDEN BUZZER
Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer act is teenage dancer Akshat, who showed off some nifty moves to Nicki Minaj’s Starships earlier in the series and won his way straight through to the live shows as a result. Can he take things one step further and nab a final spot?
When is Britain’s Got Talent on?
The first live show kicks off on Monday night on ITV at 7.30pm with the results show at 9.30pm.

Kanye reveals he isn’t allowed to say Drake’s name after their beef (Picture: Netflix)
Kanye West may be the king of being outspoken, but one name that he has to keep off his lips is Drake’s.
According to the rapper, Ye has been banned from saying the God’s Plan artist’s name along with his whole entire family after the pair’s long-standing feud.
Sharing the revelation on David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Kanye said: ‘An artist which I will not mention, because I’m not allowed to mention him or any of his family members…Well, we had a little beef last year.’
And despite not referring to OVO star by name, Kanye dropped a huge hint that he was talking about his former nemesis by quoting lines from his hit song Hotline Bling.

He continued: ‘He has this line that I love that says, “I told my story and made history” — like made his story and made history. That’s what we do, we tell our story and then people relate to that story.
‘I have a friend who told me that my power is my influence,’ Kanye added, ‘And I said my power is my ability to not be influenced.’
While it’s unclear whether the father-of-four has legally been bound from mentioning the Toronto rapper’s name or whether the new Kanye is self-censoring himself – we’re sure it’s a pretty sensible move to keep the peace.
The pair’s rocky relationship came to a head last year after Kanye went on a Twitter rant demanding an apology from Drake after the hitmaker followed his wife Kim Kardashian-West.

Ye also addressed fan rumours that Drake was hinting at an affair with wife Kim in his hit song In My Feelings and called out the rapper for not putting an end to the hearsay.
In the string of tweets, Ye also accused the 6 God of dissing his family and taking a jab at him on Travis Scott’s track SICKOMODE, while Drake blamed Kanye for telling Pusha T about his secret son.
But 2019 looks set to be a new year and a new leaf for the rappers, with Kanye referring to the beef in past tense.
The I Love It rapper has since given the green light on clearing his Say What’s Real sample for Drake’s So Far Gone track so it can be released on streaming services.

And if you thought that was a milestone, Drake even thanked Mr West for influencing his 10-year body of work.
In a tweet the star said: ‘@kanyewest a decade ago I rapped over your beat cause you just made the best s*** and even though you stay wildin on twitter these days I will never forget what you contributed to the game and my career.’
The first episode of the second season of David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction starring Kanye West premieres on Netflix on 31 May.

Girl power forever (Picture: Dave J Hogan/Getty Images)
It may have been over a decade since the Spice Girls last rolled up their platform boots for a world tour, but it seems the girls still know how to work hard and party harder.
While the girls were kicking butt on stage on their comeback tour – Spice World 2019 – they have been choosing very different ways to whined down including demands for tequila shots and ice baths.
The ladies had a lot to celebrate on Friday night after the first performance of their tour, and it seems they weren’t about to let the rest of the team miss out either with Scary Spice Mel B reportedly ordering a round of tequila shots.
According to The Sun, the 43-year-old band member was filmed demanding ‘shots right now!’ as they stepped off stage at Croke Park in Dublin for the dancers, choreographers, stage management and production crew.

Now that sounds like one hell of a Spice Girl party.
But while the ladies toasted up the tequilas, Mel C was well and truly living up to her name, Sporty Spice, by taking an athlete-style ice bath to relieve her aching muscles from all those high energy dance moves we all love.
The I Turn To You hitmaker sported a Spice World hoodie and black bikini bottoms as she showed fans her recovery go-to.
Are you alright in there Mel C? (Picture: Instagram/@melaniecmusic)
Explaining her routine to the camera in an Instagram video, the 45-year-old said: ‘Being Sporty Spice is a lot of maintenance. I’m quite stiff after our first show last night in Dublin. Thank you it was epic.’
The star was then seen pouring a ton of ice into a bath tub of already cold water before lowering herself into the tub, wincing as she went down.
Trying to convince fans that she was okay, Mel C exclaimed: ‘It’s okay. I’ve only got to sit here for 10 minutes. It’s fine!’

Spice Girls Geri Horner aka Ginger Spice and Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice were much quieter on their backstage antics, instead choosing to upload snaps from their first show together as a four-piece group.
Geri even showed Spice Girls fans that she’s still got it, with a post of her in a figure hugging black PVC dress, performing the group’s single, Holler.
Despite the fact that Geri had left the band in 1998 when the group first released that song, the mum-of-two was well rehearsed as she belted the track out for the first time ever on tour.
Geri sung Holler for the first time ever on tour with the girls (Picture: @therealgerihalliwell)
She captioned the vid: ‘Got our Holler on!’
Some of the dancers from the show looked a little worse-for-wear after the first night’s celebrations, with one dancer even being snapped sleeping on the plane with a towel over his head.
The caption was simply: ‘Mess’.
Now that’s how you kick off a world tour, Spice Girls!
When rumours of the tour started spreading last year, it was hoped she would decide to don her LBD – the classic posh costume – and join the rest of the girls on stage.
However, these hopes were quickly dashed after all band members confirmed Victoria wouldn’t be taking part in the reunion.
But why isn’t Victoria joining them on stage and are there there any animosities between the band? Keep reading to find out.
Why isn’t Victoria Beckham taking part in the Spice Girls reunion?
When 5 become 4 (Picture: Splash News)
Victoria Beckham won’t be joining the girls on tour due to other work commitments.
The mother-of-four focuses most of her energy and time on her successful fashion brand, Victoria Beckham.
She spoke to Good Morning America back in January about her decision not to take part in the reunion where she said: ‘I can’t wait to take the kids and see it but, you know, with my business now I just wouldn’t be able to do it, but I wish them so much luck.’
Were there any fall outs ahead of the Spice World 2019 tour?
Friendship never ends… or does it? (Picture: by John Stanton/WireImage)
However, the girls have all since refuted there’s any bad blood between them.
Further downplaying any drama, Victoria posted a sweet message on Instagram wishing the band ‘love and fun’ ahead of their upcoming tour.
She said: ‘Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012! I won’t be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year. I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends’
Brian seems to be politically confused (Picture: Rex Features)
Brian McFadden has revealed himself as a Donald Trump supporter, claiming the divisive US President is what Britain needs after Theresa May steps down as Prime Minister.
It seems Brian, 39, isn’t impressed with the possible ‘frontrunners’ who could replace May in Downing Street, naming Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn as the supposed candidates he’s least enthusiastic about.
Brian told his Twitter followers on Sunday: ‘The fact that borris, farage and Jeremy are the front runners to be prime minister is scary! Britain is f****d!!! Literally f****d!
‘Incredible how many brits jump on the anti trump bandwagon. He’s exactly what Britain needs! A Britain first at all costs attitude is essential [sic].’
Many of Brian’s followers were surprised by his political stance, including one who partially agreed with his tweet, commenting: ‘I was with you until you mentioned Trump!’
Not swayed by the Irish singer’s attempt at stirring political conversation, another follower advised: ‘I’d probably stick to singing in restaurants or whatever it is you do these days mate.’
Mocking the popstar, one quipped: ‘Good stuff, Brian. Glad to see the comedy career is working out better than the music one.’
Another was particularly confused by Brian’s seemingly conflicting message and said: ‘I… I’m so confused. This is like two completely polar opposite tweets mashed together. How can you hate Boris and Farage, yet love Trump? They’re basically evil triplets?!?!’
Brian’s comments will come as a surprise to those who have followed his tweets over the years and recall his own anti-Trump posts in the past.
In 2015, the Dancing On Ice star tweeted: ‘As a man who throughout my career has said some seriously stupid things. Even I am baffled by Donald trump.’
But then in 2016, Brian had a change of heart and said: ‘I want trump to win. In that lets see what he’s gonna do kind of way. Like when you’d lick the top of battery even though know what happens [sic].’

Lucy and Georgina have fostered 12 children already (Picture: Getty Images)
X Factor star Lucy Spraggan and her wife Georgina Gordon have revealed that they are undergoing fertility treatment as they have fostered a dozen children already.
The singer said the experience has been rewarding and that they hope their example appeals to others to also help children in need.
The couple said they were watching the news and saw a report on Syrian refugee children in Manchester who were in need of a safe and stable home.
The very next day the 27-year-old and her wife of three years walked into a fostering centre in Stockport and offered their assistance when they found out there were 250 children, not just refugees but local children, in desperate need of a loving home.
Speaking to the Mirror, the pair said they have found the experience ‘nothing but rewarding’.
Lucy said: ‘We’re having fertility treatment ourselves, so it’s all good practice.’
The Stick The Kettle On singer added: ‘We didn’t know much about fostering, but Gina has always wanted to do it.

‘A lot of her friends were in foster care growing up, and she’s such a kind, generous person.
‘I wanted to help too, I was just worried they may not consider us because my career as a musician means I’m not at home much. The application process was intense but speedy.
‘They looked into our full backgrounds, starting right from childhood.
‘Then we were interviewed in depth about our own relationship, received First Aid training and were taught how to help children of all ages.’
Lucy hopes the experience will inspire others to also foster (Picture: Rex Features)
The star said that even their dog Steve was assessed by pinching him and giving him a little punch to see how he would react.
‘He’s so well behaved they said he was the best dog they’d ever tested,’ Lucy added.
Four months later, the lovebirds were approved and started transforming their home to make it perfect for children.
‘We’ve now had 12 stay with us, ranging from newborns up to age 16, and we only do short-term placements because I’m away so much,’ she said. ‘We’re able to offer anything from a one-night stay up to a month, after which they may find somewhere more permanent.’
Lucy explained that she understand boys better than her wife so she takes charge in that area, while Gina ‘takes over’ when they are fostering a girl.
The songwriter rose to fame in 2012 when she auditioned for X Factor with her own song Last Night.
She was the first contestant in the show’s history to score a top 40 single and album before the live shows even aired with her independently released album Top Room At The Zoo.
Her debut major label album, Join The Club, was released in October 2013, reaching number seven on the UK charts.

The network’s programming president Casey Bloys revealed that he thinks that David Benioff and D.B. Weis ended the franchise on a high and that criticism was to be expected.
‘I think the guys did a great job,’ Casey began. ‘I think to a certain extent it was expected that for a show this big, there’s no way you’re going to please everybody.
‘It’s roughly split with some people loving it and some people disliking it. That’s about what you’d expect.
‘I think the guys landed a massive plane and did a great job doing it. But you’re never going to make everybody happy, nor should that be the goal.’
Addressing the significantly shorter season, Casey continued to Variety: ‘The guys have had a very, very specific plan in their head for a long time.
Game Of Thrones ended last week (Picture: REX)
‘This was not something that was kind of slapdash, where at the end of last season we said, “Eh, we only feel like doing six.” They were very, very deliberate.
‘This was well thought out.’
Although Game Of Thrones is officially over, there are still a number of spin-offs in the works.
Casey previously announced a prequel and confirmed that shooting for the pilot would commence in June, however admitted that it might not have a release date until at least 2021.
Meanwhile, Game Of Thrones author George RR Martin has revealed that he’s got an impressive eight shows currently in development.
Despite only a handful of George’s projects having direct links to Westeros, he teased: ‘I’m still here, and I’m still busy.
‘As a producer, I’ve got five shows in development at HBO (some having nothing whatsoever to do with the world of Westeros), two at Hulu, one on the History Channel.
‘I’m involved with a number of feature projects, some based upon my own stories and books, some on material created by others.’
He continued: ‘There are these short films I am hoping to make, adaptations of classic stories by one of the most brilliant, quirky, and original writers our genre has ever produced.’
Game Of Thrones is available to watch on catch-up on HBO, Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.

Little Mix’s earnings skyrocket to £6.6 million in one year (Picture: Getty/Metro.co.uk)
Little Mix will be laughing all the way to the bank after raking in £6.6 million between them in one year – almost five times what they usually make.
Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock took home £1.65 million each it was revealed, after the accounts of their joint venture – Eternal Magic Touring – were revealed.
The skyrocketing figures for the girl group’s company, which they are named as directors for – cover the company’s earnings up until 31 August 2018 and were filed to Company House just this week.
On top of their £6.6 million, the Think About Us hitmakers’ enterprise also made a profit of £2.8 million and held £5 million in funds till the date of the accounts, making this the company’s most successful year yet.
The girls get to take home £1.65 million each (Picture: PA)
According to The Mirror the accounts read: ‘During the year, dividends of £6,600,00 were paid to the directors.’
It’s not the first time that the ladies have made a pretty penny from their joint business venture, with the band mates having shared a whopping £9.2 million from the company since it was set up in 2015.
Back in 2017, they were paid £350,000 each and in 2016 the figure was £325,000.
The former X Factor 2010 winners have had a string of successes this year already, being named one of The Sunday Time’s Wealthiest Young Musicians.
But among the joys, the band have also had to say goodbye to music tycoon Simon Cowell as the foursome split from his label earlier this year just days before the release of their fifth studio album.

The group is now under the label RCA, who are also apart of Syco’s parent label Sony, after Simon fell out with the group’s management company, Modest Management.
Despite the change of labels, there appears to be no bad blood between the music mogul and Little Mix with Simon adding that the group were the ‘hardest-working bunch of girls I’ve ever worked with’.
He vowed that the disagreement with the band’s management ‘wasn’t down to money’ but said that ‘basically, they said we’d done a terrible job.
‘I had agreed not to talk about this publicly because I thought it was a private matter.’

Wiley has big love for Stormzy (Picture: Rex Features)
Wiley has heaped praise on his fellow grime star Stormzy, describing the Vossi Bop rapper as his ‘new inspiration’ surprising us all.
The 40-year-old rapper, often referred to as the godfather of grime, has nothing but kind words for Stormzy, whose career has climbed from strength-to-strength in recent years.
Expressing his admiration for Stormzy’s success, Wiley told NME: ‘Stormzy is my new inspiration. He’s younger than me but he’s the one who’ll keep it going on. I’ve nothing but respect for him.
‘Maybe there was a time when I put out a project and earned a bit of extra money because he was bigging me up. I wasn’t asking for that. It’s not about money, but the way that he showed respect really helped me to go on.’
It’s a surprise that Wiley, real name Richard Cowie Jr, actually has complimentary words for another grime star as the past few months have seen embroiled in feuds with Drake and Skepta.
In response, Drake said at the time: ‘It is what it is, I see a lot and I’ll never understand how supporting somebody’s song or even going a step further and giving somebody a song or linking up.
‘I’ll never understand how that’s not viewed as something admirable but I guess people have their own outlook on it.
‘But yeah, I didn’t like that. It’s Wiley that said that, I’ll just say his name because that was some goofy s**t. But yeah, I just didn’t like that.’

David Tennant revealed he sought help after Doctor Who (Picture: Wenn)
David Tennant has admitted he struggled to deal with overnight celebrity after joining the cast of Doctor Who.
The 48-year-old actor, who played the Time Lord in the BBC series from 2005 to 2010 before later reprising his role in 2015, revealed how he felt ‘intimidated’ and sought therapy after finding stardom in the show.
‘The way you imagine it’s going to be is not the way it is at all, David began. ‘It’s much more exposing, and the imaginative leap you’ve had that it will give you status or make you invulnerable is all wrong.
‘It makes you very vulnerable, and very raw.
‘I remember way back, when I’d be in a room and someone well known would walk in, and there’s that sort of whisper goes around the room and everyone looks. And you imagine being that person is somehow powerful.’
David continued to The Sunday Times magazine: ‘When you are that person, you walk into a room and everyone turns their head and whispers, and you feel like you’re being squashed.
‘You feel intimidated, and you feel scared, actually.’
Admitting that he ‘wasn’t coping at all’, David took comfort in ‘a very lovely older lady who was very calm and normal and just helped [him] cope with it.’
James Corden instigated the reveal on The Late Late Show, saying: ‘David, we were just talking backstage, this is blowing my mind. You have four children already, your oldest is 17. You just told me you and your wife, the lovely Georgia, are expecting your fifth child.’
The former Time Lord admitted ‘five is a lot’ – before joking that his eldest son Ty, 17, was now giving him and Georgia, 34, lectures on contraception.
Doctor Who is set to return to the BBC in 2020.

Charlotte Crosby has had a breast reduction (Picture: Getty Images)
Charlotte Crosby has shown off her breast reduction results after experiencing ‘shooting pains’ in her boobs.
The reality TV star underwent a ‘painful’ procedure last week to remove her implants but is now feeling pretty good with the outcome.
Enjoying a boozy night in Ibiza on Saturday night, the 29-year-old posed confidently with her B-cup bra size while wearing a white sheer mesh top.
The Geordie Shore star enjoyed her time at the poolside party at the Beach Star hotel and made sure her Instagram followers were up to date with all her post-surgery antics.
Her vacation comes as she spoke about her decision to revert back to her natural bra size.
The star, who is dating Josh Ritchie, told The Sun that she was experiencing ‘shooting pains and dull aches’ in her breast and began fearing for her life.
The reality star’s breast was also feeling hot and the doctor felt severe inflammation around the area.
She will be waiting for her wounds to heal before doing a breast scan to find out what’s going on.
She told the publication: ‘I am finally back to myself. I prefer my natural body. I was crazy to ever get those implants in. I am back to my natural normal boobs.
‘I think having the implants out has made me realise that when I look back I was perfect without them. I have accepted who I am.’

Meanwhile the presenter, who is about to embark on a new series of MTV’s Just Tattoo Of Us, recently addressed the network’s aftercare.
Charlotte with Josh Ritchie (Picture: Rex Features)
‘My whole nine years with MTV I’ve had support before the show, on the show, after it, even when you’re not on the show – they’re a phone call away,’ she told Metro.co.uk.
‘You grow a thick skin and with every negative comment there are 20 nice ones, so you have to focus on the positive. It’s so easy to dwell on the negative things that happen in life, but if you don’t look around you don’t notice the positives.
‘Everyone is different and people cope in different ways so I can only talk from personal experience, I think I as a person don’t get too down about it.’

Game Of Thrones is officially over and we need to fill the void (Picture: HBO)
The Game Of Thrones season eight finale aired almost a week ago and many of us are still struggling to come to terms with *that* ending.
After spending almost a decade trying to keep up with our favourite characters at Westeros, it’s time we all moved on sunk our teeth into all the other epic fantasies and dramas out there.
So without further a do, we’ve got all the best shows worth bingeing on Amazon Prime Video to fill the void of the HBO franchise, at least that is until the prequel comes out.
Vikings
Vikings is waiting to be binged (Picture: Rex Features)
Although it’s not a fantasy, Vikings is equally dramatic and just as gory as Game Of Thrones.
The History Channel show tells the gripping sagas of historical hero Ragnar Lothbrok.
As claimed direct descendant of Odin, god of war and warriors, Ragnar’s mystical nature and devotion to the gods feeds his stealthy maneuvers and determination to become King of the Vikings.
There are currently two seasons of American Gods to get through (Picture: Amazon/Starz)
This fantasy drama follows former convict Shadow Man’s discovery of a hidden world where magic is real and where the Old Gods fear irrelevance amid the growing power of the New Gods, including Media and Technology.
In a grand plan to combat the threat, new friend the mysterious Mr. Wednesday attempts to unite the Old Gods to defend their existence and rebuild the influence they have lost, leaving Shadow struggling to accept this new world and his place in it.
Show star Ricky Whittle, who plays Shadow Man, has boldly claimed that the show is ‘even more beautiful’ than Game Of Thrones.
Better watch it for yourself and find out if he’s right, eh?
Outlander
Outlander is waiting to be binged (Picture: Channel Four)
Outlander is a drama based upon author Diana Gabaldon’s historical time travel book series and rivals Daenerys and Jon Snow in terms of romance and adventure.
The show follows the story of married combat nurse Claire Randall who is mysteriously swept back in time to 743 where she is thrown into an unknown world.
Forced to marry young Scottish warrior, Claire finds herself caught up in a passionate affair between two different men in two moments in time.
Four seasons await you on Amazon Prime, so what are you waiting for?
Black Sails
Black Sails is your next favourite show (Picture: Amazon Prime)
Set roughly two decades before the events of Treasure Island and during the Golden Age of Piracy, Black Sails follows Captain Flint and his pirates fighting for the survival of New Providence Island.
It’s filled to the brim with more blood, sex and adventure than any Game Of Thrones fan could ever desire, and that’s just the trailer.
The first season focuses on the hunt for the Spanish treasure galleon Urca de Lima, with the latter three following the collateral of its discovery.
The series concluded in 2017 with its fourth and final season.
The 100
The 100 on Amazon Prime sees juvenile prisoners are exiled to the Earth’s surface to test whether it’s habitable (Picture: Amazon Prime)
The 100 is an American post-apocalyptic drama that follows a group of survivor prisoners who are sent from a space to see if earth is habitable.
During their adventure they learn that some humans did manage to survive, including the Grounders who are engaged in a bitter power struggle and the cannibal Mountain Men.
The series was renewed for a seventh season last month, so until then there are six installments to power through.
Oh and if that didn’t sell it to you, the guy who created Game Of Thrones language Dothraki also developed the language in The 100, so you know, it’s worth tuning in for.
The Romanoffs
The Romanoffs kicked off last year (Picture: Amazon)
Like the journey to discover who will end up on the Iron Throne, The Romanoffs centers round separate stories who believe they are descendants of the Russain royal family.
From the creator of Mad Men, the eight-part anthology series takes place in seven countries across the globe.
Aaron Eckhart, Diane Lane, Isabelle Huppert and Christina Hendricks all star alongside John Slattery, Amanda Peet, Jack Huston, Kathryn Hahn, Noah Wyle and Paul Reiser.
The first season made its debut on Amazon Prime last year and it remains unknown as to whether it’ll be returning for more action in the not so distant future.
Game Of Thrones is available to watch on catch-up on HBO, Sky Atlantic and NOW TV.

Gemma posted the picture of her suspected engagement ring while at dinner (Picture: @glouiseatkinson)
Gemma Atkinson has kicked the rumour mill into overdrive with her latest Instagram post as fans have noticed she’s wearing a rock on her ring finger.
The former Emmerdale actor was having dinner at the Manchester United football ground, Old Trafford, with friends when she posted the picture, in which a big ring can be spotted quite easily.
Gemma’s followers immediately started to ask whether her boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Gorka Márquez, had popped the question.
‘Spotted a ring!!!! 💍💞😄 Looking gorgeous as ever!! X,’ wrote one fan, while others simply asked: ‘engaged?’
Some fans jumped ahead of an official confirmation from the star and went ahead to offer their congratulations.
It seems they’re getting a little ahead of themselves though, as a rep for Gemma confirmed to Metro.co.uk that the couple are not actually engaged.
Gorka and Gemma are currently expecting their first child together and have recently confirmed their little bundle of joy is expected within the next two months.

Their happy news was announced by Gemma on Twitter, who told her followers her two dogs – Norman and Ollie – were about to become big brothers.
Gorka has been spending as much time with the mum-to-be, despite being on the Strictly Professionals tour. He even made the effort to fly over from Portugal to have a lazy day on the sofa with his new family.
Absolute couple goals.

Charlize Theron is ready for a man now. (Picture: NBC)
Charlize Theron has said that she would like to be in a relationship now, please.
The actor is making a plea for a man who can ‘grow a pair and step up’ because she is ‘shockingly’ single.
We feel you, Charlize. But where do you plan on finding such a specimen, beloved?
The South African born actress, who has not dated since splitting from Sean Penn in 2015, told the Sun on Sunday: ‘I’ve been single for years.
‘Somebody just needs to grow a pair and step up. I’m shockingly available.
‘I’m starting to open myself up emotionally to perhaps finding the love of my life.’
Aside from needing to be male and having the ability to ‘grow a pair’, all Charlize really wants is ‘a good human’.
Can you ‘grow a pair’? You might just be the one for Charlize (Picture: MEGA)
How hard can this be fellas? The opportunity is all yours. Heck – she’s even given you a blueprint for ice-breakers and chat-up lines.
The Hollywood star added: ‘Now my littlest one is taking care of herself, so my time is opening up a little bit more. I’m just looking for a good human.’
Speaking of her adopted children, Jackson, seven, and three-year-old August, the 43-year-old Oscar-winner said that her lifestyle was previously a little hectic as a single mother.
‘I was raising two small children and your life just becomes very all-consuming,’ she said. ‘They need you for everything and I’m a single mum with one nanny. It’s not like I have a ton of help, and I really wanted to be a mum, so I was enjoying it.’
The South African told Graham Norton on his show that she had taught her daughters Afrikaans, which derives from Dutch and is one of the official languages of the country.
She said: ‘I have taught them a little Afrikaans, but it’s a language filled with very conflicted history.
‘I am raising two beautiful proud black African girls and I want them to find themselves and not necessarily push my ancestry on them, but I have taught them two very sweet Afrikaans songs about politeness.’
Charlize adopted Jackson and August from South Africa and is raising both of them as daughters after Jackson told her mum at the age of three that she was not a boy.
Charlize said her mum Gerda really helped her out when it came to easily accepting her daughter (Picture: MEGA)
The actress told the Daily Mail: ‘Yes, I thought she was a boy, too. Until she looked at me when she was three years old and said: “I am not a boy!” So there you go! I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any parent, I want to protect and I want to see thrive.
‘They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide.’
Charlize added that her acceptance for Jackson’s identity stemmed from her mum Gerda, saying: ‘I was taught by my mom that you have to speak up; you have to be able to know that, when this life is over, you’ll have lived the truth you’re comfortable with, and that nothing negative can come from that.’
The Tully star adopted both her children as a single parent and previously revealed that adoption was always her first choice for starting a family.
Charlize told Elle last year: ‘Adoption is a very personal thing—I know people whom I love dearly who don’t feel that they could raise another child as their own. I respect that. But for me—and I can’t be the only person out there—I never saw a difference in raising an adopted child versus my own biological child. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on something.
‘This was always my first choice, even when I was in a relationship. I was very honest with my partners that I was open to having my own biological kids but that adoption had to be a part of my life. I felt that strongly about it.’

Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are living their best lives as they take in the sun from France’s Mediterranean coastline with a glass of bubbly in hand.
Oh, to be young rich and famous on a dingy in Monaco.
22-year-old Hadid and 23-year-old Jenner showed off their tiny modelesque physiques in stunning evening wear and bling as they hopped off of their yacht and set sail on the clear blue waters in a dingy instead.

Looking red carpet ready, Bella wore a mustard yellow bustier dress with a diamante choker and sleeper hoops, while Kendall sported a glittery brown halterneck jumpsuit with sparkly hoop earrings to match.
The pair looked care-free as they sipped on their champers and laughed the day away, even managing to bust a smile for the paparazzi – and a cheeky middle finger from Kendall – talk about a whole summer mood.

Their adventures at sea come as part of their two week holiday on the coast during the Cannes Film Festival.
Travelling with the catwalk stunners was Luka Sabbat, momager Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Corey Gamble, who have all now moved up the coast ahead of the F1 Grand Prix this Sunday.
Earlier in the day, the ladies enjoyed a spot of sunbathing and water sports after the pair were spotted looking carefree on board their yacht.
Kendall was all smiles as she whizzed around on the jet skies in the open water wearing a white off-the-shoulder bikini with navy polka dots while Bella looked every bit fashion chic in a silky halterneck top with chain detail.
Kendall’s fun trip in the sun with pal Bella comes just days after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star reportedly split from her boyfriend Ben Simmons.

The couple were said to be on a break after over a one year of dating with a source claiming that the romance had fizzled out.
An Insider told People magazine: ‘The relationship ran its course. She’s spending time with her friends and back to being in fun mode.’
News of Ben and Kendall’s romance first surfaced in March 2018 with Kendall later confirming their relationship on the Ellen DeGeneres show earlier this year.
Just last week, Kendall even entertained the idea of her and Ben getting married in the future to Vogue Australia, but also explained why she kept her relationship under wraps for so long.
She said: ‘Also, I’m very young, and right now, I feel like relationships aren’t always super certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long term [what it’s going to be].
‘A relationship is only meant to be between two people, and the second you make it the world’s business is when it starts messing with the two people mentally.’
We hear you girl.
