Love Island’s Amber Gill celebrated her birthday in style last night and adorably ended the evening curled up in the arms of her new man Greg O’Shea.

The ITV2 star is turning 22 this week and headed for a night out on the ‘toon’ in London, inviting her Irish beau Greg and bestie Yewande Biala along for the birthday antics.

And of course, Amber has a few good reasons to celebrate at the moment after bagging a new boyfriend and winning the latest series of Love Island last week as well as the £50,000 prize money.

So it was only right that she went hard on her big night out.

In a set of Instagram Stories, Greg filmed his love starting the party in the cab en route to STK London with Amber showing off those slick dance moves to Bet by Skepta.

After dinner, the birthday girl was presented with a cake courtesy of the venue but the real party began when the group started downing shots.

We do not envy their heads this Sunday morning.

Amber was also joined by rapper Chip, who later performed with MoStack, and the pair were seen doing the Candy dance to Cameo’s hit song which, frankly, is obligatory at any celebration.

But perhaps the most important guests were Amber and Greg’s parents who both joined the couple for the celebratory evening.

Erm, can this couple get any cuter?

Yewande later joined Amber and Greg, 24, back at their hotel and filmed Amber crumpled up in her man’s arms, clearly more than a little tipsy after all that partying.

Sharing our sentiments, Yewande captioned the adorable video: How bloody cute are these two?’

Greg and Yewande then ushered in Amber’s birthday by placing a crown on her head as she rolled around laughing on the bed.

It comes after Amber reunited with her ex Michael Griffiths earlier in the day during a meet-up with Anton Danyluk and Joe Garratt.

The gang will be reuniting with the rest of the Love Island crew tonight for the anticipated reunion show, which comes one week after Amber and Greg won the show.

Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury looked more loved-up than ever as they stepped out for a date night this weekend, following rumours they had already split.

The golden couple headed for a double date night on Saturday evening with Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, and couldn’t wipe the smiles from their faces.

Beaming from ear to ear, Tommy and Molly, both 20, held hands as they strolled into central London restaurant Vivi, marking the first time they have been officially spotted together out and about since finishing Love Island as runners-up last week.

Joining the couple were Maura and Curtis who also looked cheerful – and it’s understandable after the Irish lass revealed they’ve had sex for the first time after several failed attempts in the Mallorcan villa.

Curtis’ brother AJ Pritchard and his new girlfriend Abbie Quinnen also tagged along for the cosy couples evening.

The group headed to the restaurant together and Curtis filmed them all rapping along to Drake in the cab ride.

The united front comes after mounting speculation that Tommy and Molly had split just days after leaving the show.

Fans were worried as the couple hadn’t posted anything on their social media accounts, prompting rumours they had ended their two-month romance.

But the pair were pictured filming at a gym in Manchester for tonight’s Love Island reunion show, before being snapped together shopping at Selfridges in London on Saturday.

While at the luxury department store, Tommy told a fan that he and Molly were definitely still together and slammed the rumours.

The Love Island fan who posed for a photo with the couple told Metro.co.uk: ‘They looked quite cute together, they looked like a really nice couple. All the fake rumours aren’t true, they look so good together.

‘I asked about the split stories and Tommy told me it wasn’t true. He said: “We’ve been together the whole time. Everything is good.” ‘They were holding hands, and finishing each other’s sentences. It was really cute.’

So we can all calm down.

Tommy and Molly may not have won the £50,000 prize money but clearly their relationship is still going strong.

Phillip Schofield was left struggling to recover after a heavy night out with Holly Willoughby.

The presenters are off on their jollies with their families in Portugal, and of course there was some serious partying going on.

Their latest sesh took its toll on Phil and he was left hungover in bed the next morning, calling their night out ‘carnage’.

He shared an Instagram picture of himself tucked in with the duvet over his face (probably because the sunlight was feeling a bit harsh that morning), leaving just his silver hair peeking from the top of the covers.

The Dancing On Ice host defended himself on Twitter, saying he hoped his fans ‘know me better’.

Holly can seriously let her hair down at parties, as Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan knows all too well.

‘If I go to a party and Holly Willoughby is there, you know your liver is in for a caning, and you could end up in a career-ending situation,’ he previously told Heat magazine.

Love Island’s Michael Griffiths has been summoned back to work following the Love Island final, as the firefighter admits his bosses are wanting to speak to him.

Michael reportedly hasn’t been back to his home in Liverpool since leaving the villa and hasn’t returned to his job.

Speaking on This Morning, the 27-year-old told hosts Rochelle Humes and Ben Shephard that he’s been called in for meetings with his supervisors.

‘They’ve just sent me a letter that I need to come into work and speak to them,’ he said.

‘I need to go into work and speak to them, it’s open, so when I get back to Liverpool that will be my first port of call.

In a now-deleted Instagram live video, Michael previously opened up about leaving his job to go to Mallorca for the summer and shared his fears about being suspended.

‘I need to speak to work as right now as I feel like I will be suspended,’ he shared with his followers.

‘The rest is a conversation that I need to have with my boss.’

Meanwhile, the Liverpool firefighter got a little awkward when pressed for updates on his relationship with Joanna Chimonides.

‘We speak pretty much every day,’ he told the Rochelle. ‘We haven’t really had much of a chance to see what’s going on.’

‘We’re not together, no,’ he confirmed. ‘We just haven’t really seen what’s going on there.’

However, he maintained he still has feelings for Joanna.

I’ve got feelings for her, she’s got feelings for me, we just haven’t had a chance to speak it out.’

Tributes have been flooding in after the sad death of entertainer Joe Longthorne at the age of 64.

Longthorne passed away at his Blackpool home with his husband, James Moran,. by his side.

‘It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that the nation’s beloved entertainer Joe Longthorne MBE passed away peacefully in the early hours of today at his cherished home in Blackpool,’ his official social media accounts shared.

‘Joe died in his bedroom, laying in the arms of his devoted husband of 21 years Jamie, with his rosary beads clutched tight to his chest.

‘He leaves behind sister Ann and brother John. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to Jamie and all the family at this sad time.’

When did Joe Longthorne marry husband James Moran?

Joe Longthorne and James Moran – who was also his manager first met in 1997 and married in 2014 after same-sex marriage became legal in England and Wales.

The entertainer, who was bisexual, wrote about his sexuality in his 2015 autobiography Sugar In The Morning.

‘Yes, I am bisexual and let me tell you, I still really would know how to love a woman intimately,’ he said.

‘James Moran has been my partner for the past 17 years and I love him dearly. He has been alongside me through some of the most difficult and trying times, but I very much love the ladies too.’

What was the cause of Joe Longthorne’s death?

Longthorne – who was well known for his impressions of Frank Sinatra and Dame Shirley Bassey among others – died following a catalogue of health issues: he was diagnosed with blood cancer in 1987, chronic lymphatic lymphoma in 1989 and leukemia in 2005.

In 2005 the lymphoma degenerated into leukaemia and tthe star underwent a bone marrow transplant but in 2014 doctors diagnosed him with throat cancer.

He continued performing though, at the Hippodrome in 2013 and in 2015 at the Palladium once again for a star-studded 60th birthday concert featuring comedians Jimmy Tarbuck and Johnnie Casson.

Nineties kids are in for a bout of nostalgia as Nickelodeon has released its first teaser for its 2019 remake of the classic series Are You Afraid of the Dark.

The spooky anthology show was a staple on the children’s network throughout the 90s and the updated version looks to be more sinister and dark.

The release date has not yet been set but the new three-episode miniseries follows a new group of kids who will tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of the story come to life.

The original show which aired for seven seasons, centred around a group of kids who swapped ghost stories and called themselves the Midnight Society.

Some stand out episodes fans may remember include The Tale of the Dead Man’s Float (season five, episode one) and The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner (season four, episode nine).

A number of up and coming child actors have been cast in the reboot with Sam Ashe Arnold from Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever. Line up alongside Jeremy Taylor of It fame.

Tamara Smart (Artemis Fowl), Lyliana Wray (Black-ish, Top Gun: Maverick), and Miya Cech (Rim of the World) also star.

Writer Gary Dauberman told SlashFilm: ‘That show is so important to me. I didn’t want to age it down too much because for its time, it had some really disturbing episodes and some really dark episodes.

‘I really embraced that side of things… I think fear is healthy for kids. I don’t think we have to always sand down the edges of things.’

Are You Afraid of the Dark is yet to get a premiere date.

Liam and Chris Hemsworth may be supportive of each other’s Hollywood careers but they’re apparently very competitive when it comes to working out.

The Australian actors headed to the gym together this weekend to maintain their famously ripped bodies, but it seems Chris, 35, got a little touch of the green-eyed monster – all in good fun of course.

In an Instagram video, a mutual friend of the brothers presents Chris with a Sipp box filled with healthy organic, vegan snacks.

But he then changes his mind and passes it onto a topless Liam, 29, instead before admiring The Hunger Games actor’s buff physique, saying: ‘Look at the body on that.’

The little compliment is enough to push Chris into high gear and the Thor actor jokingly pulls an annoyed face while growling and lifting his weights faster.

Of course, Chris is equally ripped as his brother so it was hardly a serious jibe.

It’s hard to remember a time when Chris didn’t have bulging biceps but the actor recently revealed he struggled to get into a fitness routine before taking up his role as Marvel superhero Thor.

Speaking to Men’s Health in March, the actor explained: ‘I did struggle the first time around. Before Thor, I was always much leaner.

‘A lot of my training was cardio-based – surfing, flexibility work. So, the first eight months or so were brutal. Now, I feel like I could do it in eight weeks.’

He added: ‘It’s just down to muscle memory and smarter training. The knowledge you acquire is so important. I was doing it completely wrong at first. Back then, I just ate huge steaks, chicken breasts and broccoli – and I didn’t feel great.

Strictly Come Dancing’s new judge Motsi Mabuse is ‘box ticking’ according to choreographer Louie Spence.

Louie, best known for appearing in the reality show Pineapple Dance Studios in 2010, calling the former dance champion a ‘nobody’ and suggested that current dancer Anton Du Beke would have been better for the job.

The BBC has hit back and called his comments ‘insulting’.

He told The Mirror: ‘She isn’t a celebrity. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t put Anton there – everyone loves him as a pro dancer on the show – unless it was because they wanted another woman on the panel.

‘Also, they’ve got somebody of colour, which is being diverse. They like to tick every box. I’m not saying she’s not credible, but maybe that’s why they chose her.’

He added that TV shows generally include people who ‘don’t tick the box for the show, but they tick the box for the diversity or the inclusive and all that c**p.

‘But sometimes maybe people aren’t right for it. Just choose the right people.’

A BBC spokesperson said: ‘Motsi got the job because she was the best candidate. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely wrong and insulting.’

She will replace Darcey Bussell, who quit the BBC series earlier this year.

Motsi, 38, is a former German Latin champion and South African champion, and is already an established judge on Germany’s version of Strictly, Let’s Dance.

The dancer said of joining the show: ‘I am absolutely overjoyed to be joining the Strictly judging panel. I have so much respect and admiration for the other three judges and hope to add my own bit of sparkle to the show. I can’t wait to get started!’

Charlotte Moore, director of BBC content, added: ‘Motsi is a brilliant addition to the show.

‘She is a wonderful dancer in her own right and already has years of experience as a judge under her belt. We’re all looking forward to welcoming her to the Strictly family.’

A spokesperson said: ‘Motsi got the job because she was the best candidate. Any suggestion to the contrary is completely wrong and insulting.’

Celebs for this year’s series are slowly being revealed with comedian Chris Ramsey, CBBC star Karim Zeroual, Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyledesley, sports presenter Mike Bushell, EastEnders star Emma Barton, former England goalkeeper David James and vlogger Saffron Barker already in the line-up.

Just when you thought Love Island 2019 was over, the show is back in the schedules on Sunday night – this time for the annual reunion show.

Yes, less than a week after Amber and Greg were crowned series champions, the Islanders are all getting back together to look back on the long hot summer that’s just gone.

All of which should fend off those withdrawal symptoms a little longer until the winter series begins.

The Love Island reunion show is on ITV2 on Sunday night at 9pm.

The show runs for one hour and 35 minutes – making it a little longer than your average Love Island episode.

Who is going to be on the Love Island reunion?

The reunion will feature 35 of this year’s 36 contestants.

The 36th contestant, Sherif Lanre, will not be featured on the show after he was removed from the villa after just nine days for ‘breaking the rules’.

It later emerged that he was removed for kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the groin, and jokingly referring to it as a ‘c*** punt’.

The show promises to reunite Curtis with Amy for the first time since she left the villa, as well as bringing Danny face to face with Arabella and Yewande – in front of current girlfriend Jourdan Riane.

Anton and Belle will also address rumours of a rift with Molly-Mae, while Jordan and Anna will reveal how they are getting on following their dramatic split.

Caroline Flack will be on hand to host, as usual – while narrator Iain Stirling will also be on the show.

David Bowie’s ex Angie has opened up about the time she was drugged and raped at just 24-years-old.

However, despite being married to David, she claims to have never told him about the terrifying ordeal, which happened in 1974.

When chatting to The Mirror, the now 69-year-old recalled the moment she woke up covered in blood in a hotel room, in New York, after her drink had been spiked.

The former model claimed two men were stood over her, but while she didn’t go to the police, she confessed to punching the men before leaving.

‘My dad was a US army colonel,’ the actress told the publication: ‘I just remembered his advice and beat them up. But I didn’t go to the police. They wouldn’t help you.’

She continued: ‘And I never told David. I never gave him bad news. That wasn’t my job. He wouldn’t have been able to deal with that kind of thing.

‘I just learned to block it all out. I ignored it.’

The mother-of-two added: ‘I’m not a survivor. I’m a warrior because that’s what you have to be.’

Angie was married to the Ashes To Ashes hitmaker between 1970 and 1980, and went onto have their now 48-year-old son Duncan Jones.

A spokesperson for the former Celebrity Big Brother star told Metro.co.uk: ‘The event was deeply distressing for Angie and explains why she developed mental self defence mechanisms that some people have found difficult in the past.

‘She has got through it, and anyone that knows the real Angie understands her true strength of character.’

They went on: ‘She is a gladiatorial fighter, takes no nonsense and will always support the underdog in any given situation.’

Angie has previously spoken out about her marriage to the late icon, where she revealed their relationship was ‘just for show’.

Shortly after learning about his tragic death, the star who has the driving force behind Bowie’s success, opened up about their romance in the Mail on Sunday.

Here she wrote said: ‘He had told me before we married “I don’t love you”, and we had enjoyed an open relationship from the start: we had a threesome on the night before our wedding.

‘But I demanded dignity and respect and this was the moment I realised I was losing both… The news of his passing was broken to me in the Celebrity Big Brother house on Channel 5.

‘The fact that it happened on television was weirdly appropriate since it was a showbusiness marriage conducted in public a lot of the time.’

Bowie passed away in 2019 at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.

Love Island 2019 may be over but for its new stars, their careers are only just beginning.

Runner up and all round villa darling, Tommy Fury went into Love Island this year with a bit of notoriety thanks to his boxing legend brother Tyson Fury.

And now that the 20-year-old has had a taste of the small screen he reckons him and his brother could make and star in their own series.

Speaking to The Daily Star, Tommy said: ‘We’ve got to take everything we’re offered and look at it to see if it’s a path we want to go down.

‘But I already know I would 100 per cent want me and Tyson to do a show together. I am definitely going to enjoy the opportunities that come my way.’

He added: ‘We’re two contrasting characters, so I think that would be a fun route for us to go down.

‘It would be something new for us. We’ve trained together and sparred a bit, but we’ve never worked together before.’

Tyson, 30, is currently ranked as the world’s best active heavyweight by The Ring.

Love Island star Anton Danyluk has his post-villa future all mapped out.

The gym owner wants to help out young people who are struggling with their fitness, having battled with his weight himself in the past.

Anton, 24, is hoping to become a fitness guru like Joe Wicks and encourage kids to live healthy and active lifestyles.

He told Daily Record: ‘When I was a kid, I was a wee bit overweight and getting into fitness changed my life. It gave me the confidence to go on a show like Love Island. I would never have had the confidence to do that when I was younger.

‘I want to help young people with their fitness by promoting healthier and happier lifestyles, whether that be by releasing a fitness DVD or presenting a TV fitness show for kids. I want to help people with their mental health and wellbeing.’

He also called for an TV appearance alongside his mum Sherie Ann as they ‘both have a big following’.

The 24-year-old hopes his appearance on Love Island will ‘inspire’ young viewers who have seen the way he conducted himself in the villa.

Seann Walsh is reported to have joked about receiving an offer to do porn with his former flame Katya Jones, before bursting into tears during a recent stand-up show.

The Strictly Come Dancing star hosted a preview for his latest tour in Edinburgh last week and is said to have made light of their kissing scandal a total of 15 times.

According to The Sun, an audience member claimed that Seann, 33, joked: ‘Television X, the porn channel, offered me £500,000 to do a film with Katya, but she said no.’

It seems to be a repeat joke with reports back in March that the comedian used the same gag during stand-up shows at the time.

However, Seann reportedly became overwhelmed with emotion later in the show while reflecting on his career and journey to Strictly in 2018.

The source claimed: ‘The material followed his path as a comedian to Strictly, which he called the peak of his career, then he started crying.’

Seann reportedly told the audience: ‘It was awful, there was a bit of ‘awwing’ but nobody knew where to look.

‘My whole life turned into a nightmare. I’m not looking for sympathy but things were tough.

‘There was such hatred. I thought I was just going on a show for a bit of a boogie.’

A source said to be close to Seann also told the publication of the empty seats: ‘The first two shows were previews, so we wouldn’t expect a full house.

‘As far as we’re concerned the crowd enjoyed themselves.’

Seann has seemingly moved on from the Katya kissing scandal and is believed to be dating Grace Adderley.

The pair were pictured kissing during a stroll around Notting Hill, London in July and seemed happy to be seen.

Mel C was joined on stage by her fellow Spice Girls as she performed at Brighton Pride on Saturday night.

Well, sort of.

Dressed in drag as Mel’s bandmates, LGBTQ+party outfit Sink The Pink performed live with the singer, putting a Pride-themed twist on her hits.

Wearing a metallic silver crop top, the 45 year old showed that she still lives up to her Sporty Spice namesake as she danced and showed off her seriously toned abs.

Treating fans at Brighton’s Pavillion Gardens to a mix of Spice Girls songs, her own music and covers, the singer elicited cheers from the crowd as she waved the rainbow and transgender pride flags.

Mel has been touring with Sink The Pink at Pride events across Europe this summer, calling her collaboration with creative group ‘a bit of a dream come true.’

‘I’m going on tour with Sink the Pink, the most inclusive, fun and fabulous club night in London and we’re taking their best drag queens round the world, for a truly special show,’ Mel said.

‘I can’t wait.’

With a line-up featuring Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones and Jessie J, Brighton Pride is often considered to be the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ celebration, and Mel wasn’t going to miss out on the chance to let loose and party like the rest of us after her show.

Accompanied by her Sink The Pink band mates, Mel headed over to Brighton’s Preston Park to watch headliner Kylie perform, with the singer sharing videos to her Instagram Story as she danced to the Australian singer’s hits I Just Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Love At First Sight.

Fresh off the back of the sold out Spice Girls reunion tour, it seems like Mel couldn’t wait to get back on the road following the success of her show’s with Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.

It’s even been reported that the four bandmates – sadly minus Victoria Beckham – could return to the stage in 2021 as part of a six week residency in Las Vegas.

A source told The Mirror: ‘The girls are very keen to tour again and there have been lots of discussions about a residency in Las Vegas. 

‘They’ve agreed they could all commit to a six-week run during the summer holidays, when the kids are off school.’

If the concert series goes ahead, the girls could rake in a whopping £4 million each.

With that kind of money on the table, something tells us the band Wannabe heading across the pond.

Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are said to have secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas after dating for just over a year.

And while the couple celebrate their love for one another, with an Elvis Presley impersonator in tow no less, we couldn’t help but look back on their relationship, which is giving us all the feels.

Back in May 2018, the couple were first romantically linked when they were spotted hand in hand leaving a bowling alley in New York.

Although they’d been friends for quite some time, this was the picture that everyone needed as confirmation of their relationship – and they’ve been #goals ever since.

Yes, just months later in August last year, they solidified speculation by locking lips at Heathrow Airport.

The pair had celebrated Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party, and it seems they were still in great spirits when arriving home.

Ashley was even sporting a gold ‘C’ initial necklace – and we couldn’t help but ship them.

The famous model then celebrated her 26th birthday with a string of A-lister including the likes of Margot Robbie, Zoe Kravitz, Sienna Miller, and Kate Beckinsale.

And while they had a blast taking pictures in a photo booth, eagle-eyed fans spotted Ashley making an appearance on the pics.

However, they were still yet to make things official, as shortly after the party Ashley told People magazine: ‘I just kinda try to keep myself as private as possible.’

She even explained her ‘C’ necklace to Elle, adding: ‘There’s this company called Lola James that designs these ‘squad goals’ or friendship necklaces, so that’s really it.’

As time went on, they were spotted hanging out more and more, with them making their first official appearance together at the Paris Fashion Week.

Sources started to talk, and in October an insider told Us Weekly: ‘Ashley and Cara are dating. This is the first girl she’s ever dated

‘This relationship with Cara is the first time she’s been in a healthy relationship and she feels as if it’s really easy with her.’

Can we just say they’re official, now?

The duo rarely posted pictures of themselves on social media, however Stylist Jami Mizrahi share a pic of them looking pretty cosy in the back of a car earlier this year.

In the caption, he wrote: ‘Post show cuddle puddle,’ next to a love heart emoji.

But there was one time Cara felt the need to defend her relationship online, after being called out by fans who branded her ‘disrespectful towards women.’

Commenting on the post, the actress wrote: ‘You are f*cking disgusting! If you have a problem with true love then come and say this sh*t to my face instead pathetically hating through Instagram.

‘I genuinely feel sorry for you both, you are clearly not happy with your lives and have far too much time on your hands. Maybe get a hobby that doesn’t involve being homophobic and hating other for being happy.’

Ashley also had her say, adding: ‘You need to mind your own business. Stop making things up.’

But it took the Pride celebrations this year to see the pair finally go official, as Cara shared a picture of herself and Ashley sharing a steamy kiss on Instagram.

She went onto tell E! about their decision to go public: ‘I don’t know, because it is Pride. It’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know. It’s been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?’

In July the couple stepped up their PDA and were spotted out sporting what looked to be an engagement ring – each.

And it appears they’ve gone and sealed the deal, as it has been claimed the pair have tied the knot in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Michael Kelly, who owns the Little Chapel, told The Sun On Sunday: ‘They were sure about what they are doing and they were sure about what they mean to each other.

‘They were clearly devoted to each other and they had the biggest smiles on their faces.

‘You could see that they were serious about what they were doing but having the most fun. They wanted it simple, quiet and easy.’ Our hearts.

Kylie Minogue toasted ‘health, happiness and love’ as she wowed fans with an iconic performance at Brighton Pride.

The Australian singer, who last month scored her seventh number one album in the UK, played to a sold out crowd of 55,000 people at Preston Park as part of the annual LGBTQ+ celebration.

Fans of Kylie, who is considered an icon among the gay community, were treated to a medley of the singer’s many greatest hits spanning over four decades.

Starting with Love At First Sight, the singer performed hits including I Should Be So Lucky, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and last year’s country single Dancing.

However, it was 1988 hit Especially For You that was the biggest hit with the crowd of LGBTQ+ activists and allies, which saw the dance troupes enact a gay wedding as same sex couples danced together.

Clearly overwhelmed by the crowd’s incredible reaction, the pop star thanked fans for a ‘wonderful day’, telling them to use the festival for both ‘celebration’ and ‘reflection.’

Kylie went on to propose a toast to ‘health, happiness and love’ and later echoed these sentiments on social media.

The star wrote on Instagram: ‘What. A. Night!’, adding: ‘Thanks to @brightonprideofficial for a wonderful time! 💖🙋🏼‍♀️ [sic].’ 

It’s been a bumper packed summer for the 51 year old, who has headlined a number of festivals and events across the UK.

Perhaps the biggest show of the lot came at the end of the June, where the singer took on the mammoth ‘Legends slot’ at Glastonbury Festival.

Previous artists who have performed the Sunday afternoon Pyramid Stage spot have included Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder and Tom Jones.

The performance was an emotional one for Kylie, who was forced to pull out of the Somerset arts festival in 2005 following her breast cancer diagnosis.

Fighting back tears as the crowd chanted her name, the honorary Brit said: ‘In 2005 I was meant to be here on this very stage. Circumstances meant that I didn’t make it.

‘I wish things were different but life is what it is right? We are here together in this moment.’

Fleabag is continuing its streak as a critical darling with a slew of top wins at the 2019 Television Critics Awards.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is still reigning as comedy’s TV queen and rightly so.

The Killing Eve screenwriter scooped three trophies; Program Of The Year and Outstanding Achievement In Comedy and creator and star Waller-Bridge herself won the award for Individual Achievement in Comedy.

Last year, the 34-year-old won a TCA for her work on Killing Eve season one.

Another big winner was Natasha Lyonne for Netflix smash hit Russian Doll who took home Outstanding New Program.

The award for Outstanding Achievement in Drama went to FX’s Better Call Saul.

Other winners included Michelle Williams for Individual Achievement in Drama for her role in FX limited series Fosse/Verdon.

HBO Michael Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland won the prize for Achievement in News and Information and the network’s acclaimed drama Chernobyl took home the win for Best Movie/Miniseries.

TCA president Daniel Fienberg said, via The Hollywood Reporter: ‘A self-lacerating examination of the intersection of love and faith, explorations of private trauma both scripted and unscripted, tales of personal transformation both uplifting and tragic, period explorations of creativity and avoidable tragedy, this year’s TCA Awards winners are united in how different and how ambitious they are.

‘This is an exciting time for television and there’s no single formula for excellence, as our honorees include reputation restoring biopics, female-driven half-hours, the rare spinoff to equal its illustrious predecessor and a piece of difficult-to-watch history that couldn’t feel more vital and relevant, making for a special TCA Awards night.’

Waller-Bridge confirmed that Fleabag was ending with season two, but the show’s US distributor Amazon is desperate for a third outing.

Amazon boss Jennifer Salke said: ‘Anything Phoebe wants to do, nothing would make us happier to bring another season of her show. Anything she wants to do. I’m forever the optimist.’

Boxer Tyson wasn’t involved in the episode when the families of the islanders drop into the villa to meet their other halves.

He missed out on saying hi to Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy’s girlfriend, before the pair finished in second place.

In an Instagram Q & A, The Mirror claims, he responded to a fan who questioned why he didn’t appear.

‘Why didn’t you visit Tommy in Love Island? That’s your brother,’ they said.

Tyson replied: ‘I would of (sic) loved to but I am in training camp. People do not realise the sacrifices made to reach the top level… not just in boxing but anything you aspire to do.’

Tommy and Molly-Mae finished behind winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea.

At the time, a show source claimed Tyson had ‘politely avoided’ requested to be on the show as ‘he felt it wouldn’t work with his profile’.

Last year, while Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham made it to the final and eventually won, Dani’s parents didn’t fly to Majorca, with her grandparents instead making the trip.

Tyson has admitted that he tried to talk Tommy out of being an islander.

On The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, Tyson said he felt his bro ‘might get carried away in being a reality TV star rather than being a fighting man.’

‘It’s the last thing he needs to so when he’s trying to become a professional fighter,’ the 30-year-old said.

‘So at first I said “nah, it won’t be a good idea that, you’ll mess up what you’re doing in your career, you’re on a roll, keep with the boxing”.

‘Then I thought about it and you know what, it can only enhance his career by getting more people to know him.’

Tommy is set to be reunited with all the islanders in a special reunion episode tonight.

Spice Girls star Mel B says her relationship with Geri Horner was understandably a little ‘awkward’ after she revealed they had a one-night stand.

The Wannabe singer surprised viewers during her episode of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories earlier this year when she said that she and Geri, 44, once had sex in the 1990s.

It sparked reports of a rift between the two popstars as they prepared for their epic UK stadium reunion tour this summer.

But while Mel reveals Geri wasn’t upset with what she said, the bombshell did make things a tad uneasy for them behind-the-scenes.

In an interview with the Mail On Sunday’s Event magazine, Mel explained: ‘Things got really pumped up in the press and on social media, and yes, it was difficult between Geri and myself for a while.

‘I texted her on the night I did the Piers Morgan show and explained what he’d said and how I’d answered and she was fine with it. The problem was it then got hyped up into a much bigger story, and it didn’t help that we were just about to begin rehearsals.’

Mel B, 44, says it was ‘bad timing’ as the girls would be spending a lot of time together while rehearsing for the tour, which in the end was a huge success.

The popstar continued: ‘It was awkward.

‘We hadn’t been back in the situation of being together every single day, being on stage, rehearsing, getting ourselves back into Spice Girls mode, and then all the headlines about our relationship were thrown into the mix, which was pretty bad timing.’

Underlying tension was also caused by Geri breaking all of our hearts and dramatically quitting the Spice Girls in 1998.

More than 20 years later, Geri finally apologised to her bandmates and they buried the hatchet during the reunion tour.

Mel stated: ‘Geri and I are in a good place now. On the last night at Wembley, Geri did something which, I think, meant more to me than any of the other girls,’ which was to say ‘sorry’.

Fans may be seeing more of the Spice Girls on-stage in the near future, as Mel B also hinted they could be making an appearance at Glastonbury.

A seven-year-old comic received Australia’s Got Talent’s Golden Buzzer on Sunday night after flirting with Nicole Scherzinger as part of his cheeky routine.

JJ Pantano performed a hilarious audition at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne, where he poked fun at all the panelists, including host Ricki-Lee.

The youngster began his audition like butter wouldn’t melt, telling judges Nicole, Shane Jacobson, Manu Feildel and Lucy Durack that his goal is to make ‘the whole of Australia laugh.’

However, JJ quickly took the show in another direction.

‘Guess what? I have a girlfriend,’ he told the crowds. ‘But I think I’m going to have to dump her because there’s someone here…’

The pint-sized comic then made eyes at Nicole and said: ‘Hey there Pussycat.’

‘You’re so cute,’ Nicole said. ‘But I’m a little scared of you.’

JJ also took the time to make a jibe at Ricki-Lee and joked that he was fame hungry.

‘It was so cool being backstage on Australia’s Got Talent, hanging out with all those people who are just desperate to be on TV… Hey, Ricki-Lee,’ JJ swiped.

There’s something about a 33-year-old being roasted by a seven-year-old, right?

‘You are the funniest seven-year-old I’ve ever met and probably more talented than some of the stand-up comedy that we’ve seen so far,’ Manu complemented as the judges gave their feedback.

Lucy added: ‘For a seven-year-old you have a massive personality and you absolutely take the stage like somebody a lot bigger than you.’

Shane was so impressed with JJ’s performance that he pressed his Golden Buzzer in the aftermath.

‘This venue has the ability to launch careers and do you know how they get launched? By one lucky break,’ he said.

‘And you know how they come? Gold,’ Shane said seconds before catapulting JJ into the semi-finals.
