Gino D’Acampo has responded to trolls who criticised him for cuddling his daughter in bed, and he’s not backing down.
Back in November, the 43-year-old chef shared a photo of him and Mia cuddling in bed for a selfie while seemingly not wearing pyjama tops, but it sparked backlash with some claiming it was ‘weird’.
But now Gino has hit back at the critics by sharing a video of him and seven-year-old Mia kissing and cuddling in bed again.
In the short clip, Gino explains to the youngster: ‘Last time I put a picture of me and you in bed giving kisses and cuddles a lot of people they thought it was weird.
‘I thought it was nice because we were cuddling and I love you so much.’
When Mia asks: ‘Why did they think it was weird?’ Gino replied: ‘I don’t know, they are the weird ones, nothing wrong with daughter and daddy cuddling in bed right?’
He then asked Mia what message they should send to the ‘weird people’ and it appears she’s a chip off the old block, as the child then flipped the bird at the camera.

Gino shares two other children with wife Jessica Stellina Morrison – Luciano, 17, and Rocco, 14.
His cheeky video addressing the backlash earned support from his followers, including one who hailed it a ‘brilliant response to the weird ones’.
Backing Gino’s expression of affection, one dad chimed in: ‘Good work fella, i have a 2 and 4 year old and don’t miss a day without a kiss and cuddle from them! Love conquers all!’
One mum agreed: ‘We cuddle our girls in bed x x we make a daughter sandwich and we kiss them on the lips x x they are our babies regardless xxxxx Love your children xxxxxx Happy new year.’
And another stated: ‘If you can’t kiss and cuddle your own kids Gino there’s something very wrong in this world, A child needs love and hugs and kisses. Keep them feeling loved Ginofantastico [sic].’
While Gino’s heart clearly melts around his children, the chef admits he is a strict dad compared to his wife.
He told Woman Magazine in 2017: ‘My kids are not allowed to be fussy eaters. The problem with fussy children is their stupid parents.
‘I run a family kitchen and in my house, we don’t have options. I never had options, why should they?’
He added: ‘My wife is softer than me but when I’m around there is no other way than mine.’

Gavin and Stacey’s triumphant return to the small-screen after nearly a decade away has become a monster hit with fans – so much so that since its premiere, its been watched for the equivalent of 80 years.
Premiering on Christmas Day, the special caught up with the titular couple and their families as they all journeyed to celebrate the festive period in Barry Island.
According to The Sun, from December 25-29, fans of the sitcom flocked to BBC iPlayer and spent a total of 707, 889 hours – or 29,495 days, just over 80 years – watching it.
It recorded its biggest viewing figures on Boxing Day, where it was watched online for nearly 300,000 hours.
The ratings success also seemed to have a knock-on effect too; fans started to binge the original three series all over again, which resulted in their re-appearance in the top 20 most played shows on iPlayer.
One of the most controversial aspects of the new episode was the use of the word ‘f*****’ during a rendition of The Pogue’s A Fairytale In New York which resulted in complaints being filed to Ofcom in response.
The BBC, who also has their own complaints procedure, has confirmed that they have been received a number of objections regarding the use of the word, although they are yet to comment on how many.
Gavin and Stacey series 1-3 and the 2019 Christmas Special are available to watch now via BBC iPlayer.

The Top Gear star managed to wangle an emergency appointment to get his tooth sorted out quickly, so he will be going into 2020 with a full set of pearly whites.
His wife, Christine McGuinness, revealed she didn’t know until then that Paddy’s teeth weren’t his own, writing: ‘WTF is this! I didn’t even know you didn’t have your own teeth! Almost 13 years together, you still shock me and make me laugh over the most ridiculous things! This is awful!’
It’s not known what kind of ‘fake’ teeth Paddy apparently has, but given that it appears to be missing from the root, it’s likely to be an implant that became dislodged rather than a veneer.
She explained: ‘Last week I told how proud I was to have a Christmas tree up at home, I am still very proud that my children coped well over Christmas as they struggle so much with sensory overload, anxiety, they become easily overwhelmed.
‘But, I wasn’t ready for the aftermath following Christmas Day, it has been awful. I think I prepared them so much for Christmas Day, I didn’t prepare them for it to end.
‘I know many of you with Autistic children will understand, I’m still learning everyday and next year will be better again.
‘So now, all evidence of Christmas has gone from our home, I find the best way to help my children is to get them involved and show them visually.
‘We took the tree down together and explained “Christmas has finished” .. today seems calmer. I’m just hoping for the best, patiently waiting for normal routine to come back!’

While you’re tossing back champagne and toasting to the New Year come 12am tonight please spare a thought for pregnant Millie Mackintosh and her itchy boobs.
As the 30-year-old prepares to welcome her first baby with husband Hugo Taylor, the former Made In Chelsea star has revealed a rather uncomfortable side-effect of her pregnancy.
Taking to social media on Tuesday morning, the star revealed she was suffering from a case of the itchy boob – a common thing to happen while pregnant.
Sharing a selfie of said area, as well as her bump, Millie wrote: ‘Please let me know if you also suffered with itchy boobs and nipples during pregnancy and what you found eased the itch?!’
We can only assume a whole bunch of her 1.3million followers have flocked to her DMs to share with them their remedies and trade stories.

While it might sound mighty odd to those who haven’t gone through pregnancy, or know the ins and outs from someone who has, itchy breasts are totally common and could be caused by various factors such as hormonal changes and pregnancy-induced eczema, as well as the skin reacting to stretching as it prepares for baby. Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP) has also been known to cause itching, the presence of small hives also noticed by some.
When it comes to getting rid of a persistent itch, Healthline recommends anything from wearing natural fibres and a loser-fitting bra (but still supportive), to slathering on a moisturiser.
Sharing their happy news in Hello! Magazine, the actress said: ‘Hearing her heartbeat for the first time with Hugo by my side was one of the most amazing moments of my life so far.
‘I feel very lucky. I can’t wait to feel that bond and for her to sleep on my chest and breathe in that baby smell.’
Millie and Hugo wed in July 2018 at Whithurst Park in West Sussex. They got engaged the year before while on a luxurious trip to Mykonos to celebrate Millie’s 28th birthday.
The parents-to-be previously dated on and off in 2011, splitting when Hugo cheated on Millie with fellow Made In Chelsea star Rosie Fortescue. They rekindled their romance in 2016 following Millie’s split from husband Professor Green.

Travis, 27, has remained tight-lipped about the shock break-up that, frankly, upset us all but he’s now speaking out and he’s got nothing but kind words for Kylie.

The professional hockey player revealed his goals for the New Year on Instagram, explaining he wanted to be ‘open to all things’ in his relationship.
While many of us share resolutions about making the most of a new-found gym membership, the 36-year-old got seriously deep with his plans.
In a ‘2020 goals’ template he shared on his Instagram story, he said: ‘I want to learn: More about intimacy and my sexuality’.
While under ‘I want to be more’, he wrote: ‘Open to all things and present in my relationship’.

Their relationship came under the spotlight earlier this year, after the America’s Got Talent star opened up about her sexuality, and how she discussed this with her husband.
In a chat with Women’s Health magazine, the 31-year-old said: ‘I [told him], “You know I’m not straight, right?” And he was like, “I’m sorry what?” I was like, “I’m not. But I choose to be with you.”
‘I think there’s a safety with my husband now that I’m unpacking all of this.
‘There’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised.’

I just love showbiz gossip. So much so, that a celeb story from the last 10 years is what I will be thinking about on my deathbed. (Sorry, family and friends).
I am, of course, talking about that fateful night in 2014, when Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange Knowles entered a lift and Solange proceeded to beat the s*** out of her brother-in-law.

For those of you who somehow missed it – and for that, I pity you – it all centres around the Met Gala on 4 May 2014, which had the theme Charles James: Beyond Fashion.
Beyonce was looking ravishing in a sheer black Givenchy dress with a beaded headpiece, her husband Jay Z looked slick in a white tux jacket and black bow tie, and Solange was glowing in a quirky Phillip Lim dress.
All was going well… that is, until the Knowles-Carters headed to the Standard Hotel for an after-party, and entered the lift at the hotel.
CCTV footage from inside the lift, which was leaked to TMZ, saw Solange viciously attacking her brother-in-law, all while Beyonce stood by and watched.
The trio emerged from the lift with Jay Z looking shell-shocked, and when the footage leaked on 12 May (it was sold by a hotel employee who was later fired), the world went wild, speculating about what had happened. Did Jay cheat? How did Solange find out? Why did Bey say nothing?

Beyonce released a rare statement on the matter, saying: ‘As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident.
‘But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred.
‘They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.’
Beyonce later referenced the incident on the Flawless remix, singing: ‘Of course, sometimes s*** go down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator.’
And Jay Z said in 2017: ‘We’ve always had a great relationship. I fought my brothers and argued with my brothers my whole life. It just so happens, who we are, these things go into a different space. But it ain’t nothing.’

So that’s that, right? Wrong. We were never told what happened in that lift, and we never found out. We probably never will.
In a world where social media gives everything away and barely any celeb mystery remains unsolved (not while PI Coleen Rooney is on the case, anyway), it is truly impressive that the Carters and Knowles family’s secret was never made public.
At the time, it was speculated that Solange had seen Jay Z chatting to Rachel Roy – a woman who was later accused of being Becky with the good hair, which Roy denied. And we know that Jay did cheat, with the rapper admitting so on his album 4:44. We know that Beyonce utterly dragged her husband on Lemonade, telling him to ‘call Becky with the good hair’ and warning ‘If you try this s*** again, you gon’ lose your wife’.
But even knowing that infidelity occurred between the couple, we still don’t know what made Solange launch that attack on her brother-in-law in the lift.
As a journalist, my job is to uncover what is going on. And I always want to know the ins and outs of every scandal. But while I would sell my soul to the devil for the audio of that lift incident (don’t lie, you would too), the mystery is what makes Liftgate so good.
Three of music’s biggest stars having a regular family barney at one of the glitziest events in the world, and a few months later it’s all brushed under the carpet with no careers or reputations harmed… and we will never know the details.
When we live at a time when celebs are basically live-tweeting their divorces and we can snoop around houses via Instagram, Liftgate feels like a celebrity story from a different era, although it was just five years ago. It’s the perfect showbiz scandal.
And if there is a heaven, I know that when I get there, I will be greated with a pair of headphones and the CCTV footage from the Standard Hotel.

Wrestling weddings just don’t go well – some things never change, and this week’s nuptials certainly didn’t disappoint as Bobby Lashley and Lana prepared to tie the knot on the final Raw of the Sky Sports era.
The path to this point has been winding, unpredictable and utterly stupid at times, and in keeping with the storyline to date, it’s no surprise the wedding continued in exactly the same manner.
First, we had interruptions from each of the couple’s first spouses, who tried to talk them out of getting married.
Lana’s first husband took a spinebuster from Lashley, whose first wife was hit with a bouquet to the face from the Ravishing Russian.
From there, we got a third interruption as a repackaged Liv Morgan finally made her return – albeit not in the way anyone would have expected to see.
She claimed she came to WWE as a lost soul until she found love and was given a renewed purpose – before quickly revealing she was actually talking about Lana.
This got a huge pop from the fans in attendance as Lana broke down in tears, sparking a brawl between the two women as referees tried to separate them and Bobby looked on as bemused as the rest of us.
As if that wasn’t enough drama to bring the shown to an end, Rusev popped out of the huge cake to attack his rival, beating him up to cheers before he and Morgan stood tall with chants of ‘Rusev Day’ belting out from the stands.
There’s a lot to unpack there, with so much to take in – we expected Rusev and Lashley to have to continue their feud, but no one saw the Liv Morgan element coming.
Throw in her potential romance angle with Lana, and we’ve got a whirlwind of drama to no doubt dominate Raw in 2020.
For anyone who doesn’t go for the soap opera storylines, this week’s Raw was actually jam-packed with exciting in-ring action and some fantastic moments to paint a picture of what the Raw landscape will look like over the coming months.
Samoa Joe stepping up to help Kevin Owens battle the O.C. will really shake things up, and once you throw Rey Mysterio into the mix the resulting six-man tag team match will be absolutely incredible – as will the journey to get there.
We’ve also got Becky Lynch set to defend her Raw Women’s championship against Asuka at the Royal Rumble, with the Man explaining she was given the match after pointing out to bosses that her contract was nearly up.
Elsewhere, Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy put on another clinic as they fought in a near-perfect contest to show that both guys need to see their stock soar in 2020.
We mentioned the O.C. earlier, and they were a driving force of this week’s show, with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson losing to Street Profits in a cracking bout that underlined the importance of their union with Randy Orton, as they fell short without him at ringside.
The Viper was still on Raw, after reports of a leg injury and a promise the future Hall of Famer would address his immediate future.
He gave a speech about his injury and how the medical evaluation put his WrestleMania status – and in-ring career – in serious doubt.
AJ Styles came out to mock his rival, saying he’d see him at WrestleMania before kicking his crutches from under him.
However, Orton still had a twist in the tale as he teased that AJ might be patient, but he’s not – quickly dropping him with the RKO and celebrating his fantastic ruse.

At the service on Monday at Ballywillan Presbyterian Church in Portrush, Dunbar’s family thanked the gathered mourners for their ‘outpouring of love,’ following the Line of Duty star’s death.
The actor was described as ‘a warm fire in our life that heated our souls every day,’ by a bandmate according to the Belfast Telegraph.
His brother Alan said: ‘Life is fleeting and precious, not only to ourselves but to those who love us.
‘Please take care of yourselves – I mean that in every sense – and be mindful of others.’

Addressing the tragic news, Alfie wrote to his 1million followers: ‘Andrew was an actor who was also a stand-in as Theon on GoT.
‘Extremely shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. To lose a loved one so young, I can only imagine what his family are going through. RIP Andrew xxx.’
Tributes have been flooding in following Andrew’s death, with a spokesperson for The Extras Dept, saying: ‘To say we are shocked and saddened at the passing of Andrew Dunbar is an understatement.
‘We have so many fond memories of the years Andrew worked with us.’
They added: ‘He was so versatile we could cast him in anything, he was such a talented performer he would always end up being featured, and he was so adored that he was always requested by productions again and again.
‘He’ll be remembered in his roles as a Stark and Theon Greyjoy’s Double on Game of Thrones, a corrupt police officer on Line of Duty, the poor fella cornered by Colum on Derry Girls, and a Rebel on Krypton to name a few.
‘But most of all he’ll be remembered by his kind soul and infectious personality. Thank you for all you did for us, Andrew. We will miss you dearly.’

Brooke Shields traveled back in time to her Blue Lagoon days as she soaked up the sun in Puerto Rico.
The actress shared a snap of her in a blue bikini walking (hopefully in slow-mo) out of the ocean.
The 54-year-old captioned it: ‘Another blue lagoon’, which means she still thinks about her iconic role as much as we do.
Brooke had the lead role of Emmeline Lestrange in The Blue Lagoon, which came out in 1980, and it is still horribly terrific 40 years later.
But let’s not forget she was 14 years old when the film was made.
The movie was so painful to watch that it even won her the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress.

‘Feeling disconnected from my own body, it took me years to separate the opinions of others from my own.

The star added: ‘At 52 years old, I finally feel comfortable and proud of all the hard work I’ve put into my body.
‘I can say that I feel confident being in my own skin, showing my body and not hiding it.’

Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague got a harsh dose of reality in the paradise of the Maldives, when she ‘burned her skin off’ in a watersports accident.
Like many of their celebrity peers, Tommy and Molly are staying at a luxury resort to enjoy some sun, sea and relaxation.
And of course, they were keen to jump in the crystal blue waters of the Indian Ocean for a spot of watersports but it, unfortunately, didn’t end so well for Molly.
The TV star revealed a nasty looking burn on her arm and told her Instagram followers: ‘Most traumatic thing I’ve ever done but probably the funniest moment of my life too.’
At least she can laugh at her own pain.
Molly added: ‘Burnt all the skin off both elbows holding onto a watersports doughnut for dear life.’

It doesn’t stop there though as Molly then shared a close-up of her face with red bite marks all over and revealed: ‘Also been eaten alive hehe.’
We do feel bad for the girl but, at the same time, she’s on an exotic island and we’re… braving the chill in the UK and worrying about how to keep warm while out and about for New Year’s Eve tonight.
While Molly is adjusting to the warm climes of the Maldives, her boyfriend Tommy admits he’s ‘in heaven’.
It seems he was ready for a wild night on the second evening of their holiday and planned to do shots but Molly was less keen.
‘I’m on the Cafe Patron by myself and she’s on the chocolate milkshake, lovely,’ Tommy told his followers.
To be honest, the chocolate milkshake sounds more appealing right now.
The pair may still be struggling with their jet lag though as Tommy shared an Instagram story video at 5:58 am.
Oof, we don’t envy his tired head right now.

David Beckham proved he’s the biggest kid of all, spending a solid nine hours attempting to build a Lego Land Rover.

During the confusing time between Christmas and New Year, when many of us can barely remember our own names, the former Manchester United footballer sat down to piece together a model.
But wife Victoria couldn’t cope with how long the 44-year-old was spending building the £160 set, which is aimed at children.
Taking to Instagram, the Spice Girls singer turned fashion designer shared a video of the dad-of-four, hard at work, while listening to some mood-setting opera.
Ever the proud wife, Victoria uploaded a clip to her Instagram story, showing her beau carving a huge turkey, alongside the message: ‘Christmas dinner with the Beckhams’.

‘Oh and he has now deleted the vid because it prob looks snobby and he was doing it badly!’

Star Wars actor Kelly Marie Tran addressed the storyline of her character Rose Tico, as fans revolt over the ‘limited’ action she saw in the latest film.
However, speaking before the backlash at the press junket for The Rise Of Skywalker, on the day of its release, Metro.co.uk asked the star what she thought about her character’s journey.
In 2017’s The Last Jedi, when we were introduced to Resistance member Rose, she had a glowing storyline alongside John Boyega’s Finn which was seemingly abandoned in TROS.

We wanted her back in the action, flying planes and fighting against the First Order.
Ever diplomatic, Kelly said that while there are storylines she’d love to have done, she praised JJ for wrapping up the saga in the best way possible.
‘As with any character than an actor plays there are always things you’re wanting to explore, because humanity is limitless so a character’s humanity is limitless and there are so many things we want to do as those characters,’ she said earlier this month, responding to our question: ‘I would say yes?’

‘I don’t think there is a specific answer in exactly what I wanted to do, but I think JJ has done such an incredible job of wrapping up nine films and having all of these different storylines and characters involved,’ she continued.
Kelly laughed after the suggestion of seeing Rose causing havoc in the skies: ‘I know, that would have been so cool.’
Many of Kelly’s scenes as Rose were centred around Princess Leia Organa, played by the late Carrie Fisher using unused scenes from past films.
Off the back of this, Terrio explained that they simply could not use the rest of the footage the 30-year-old star filmed with the late Star Wars legend because the ‘photorealism’ wasn’t up to ‘standard’.
He told Awards Daily: ‘One of the reasons that Rose has a few less scenes than we would like her to have has to do with the difficulty of using Carrie Fisher’s footage in the way we wanted to.
‘We wanted Rose to be the anchor at the rebel base who was with Leia.
‘We thought we couldn’t leave Leia at the base without any of the principals who we love, so Leia and Rose were working together … As the process evolved, a few scenes we’d written with Rose and Leia turned out to not meet the standard of photorealism that we’d hoped for. Those scenes, unfortunately, fell out of the film.’
Terrio insisted that they all ‘adore’ Tran and they wanted her to be ‘anchored’ with Fisher’s beloved alter-ego.
He added: ‘The last thing we were doing was deliberately trying to sideline Rose. We adore the character, and we adore Kelly — so much so that we anchored her with our favourite person in this galaxy, General Leia.’
‘It’s crazy because that’s an actor thought and not a character though, if that makes sense? Me as Kelly acknowledging and realising all those things, but me as rose not being aware of any of that,’ she said.
‘It was definitely hard to draw that line between what is actor stuff and what was character stuff.
‘For the most part I was just trying to be in that character.’
She added: ‘Watching it after the fact has been such a beautiful experience to see how incredibly she is in this movie and her intelligence and wit lives on.’

A familiar face from Game of Thrones was actually a huge part of Netflix’s The Witcher – The Night King.
Vladimir Furdik took over as the army of the dead’s leader in 2016 after serving as GoT’s stunt co-ordinator for the previous five seasons.
No wonder then the first show to truly deserve being compared to the HBO juggernaut snapped him up too, to work alongside Henry Cavil and perfect those epic fight scenes.
And following the release of The Witcher – which became Netflix’s most-streamed show of 2019 in just over a week – Vlad sent fans wild with a behind-the-scenes shot alongside Yennefer actress Anya Chalotra, who has swiftly become the series’ runaway star.
‘With Anya on set, great time. Good person with a big heart,’ the 49-year-old tweeted alongside the snap.
And his followers lapped it up:
Ya‘ll guys just did us ( the fans ) the biggest favor ever. This series is so good that i re-watched the whole season again. #mhm
‘It means my life would blow up as well, wouldn’t it?’ she asked audiences at San-Diego’s Comic-con. ‘Yeah. You know, I’m taking it moment to moment and this already has been very overwhelming. It’s very scary.’
And she could be right – Anya shot straight up to IMDB’s fourth most popular celebrity within days of The Witcher dropping on Netflix.

While she looked back with pride on her dream job, she was also heartbreakingly honest about the abuse she had received after she took on the role of Lauren Branning from Madeline Duggan in 2010.
She wrote: ‘10 years ago I landed the BEST job in the world! Loved every second of it, this picture changed my life.
‘I used to hate this picture so much I got trolled so so badly, “the new fat Lauren branning” “Why recast and then get someone so much uglier and what is the hair cut” I admit I really hate the hair cut now but jeez ppl can be mean, and to a 17 year old girl, words hurt a lot!’
She admitted that the vile comments had an effect on her confidence, adding: ‘It effected [sic] me for a LONG time! Probably still does actually if I’m being honest.
Fans were quick to assure Jacqueline that she was just as beautiful in both photos, writing: ‘You are stunning in both! Happy new year to you and your family.’

A new trailer for Star Trek: Picard teases the return of two very familiar faces alongside Patrick Stewart as the show prepares to launch in the new year.
The spin-off will follow Stewart’s space captain Jean-Luc Picard, picking up decades after the end of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Now, an NFL trailer for the programme has revealed that William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Beverley Crusher (Gates McFadden) will be returning in the new show.
In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Riker was Picard’s first-officer and Crusher the medical officer. Their roles in the new run of episodes are still unclear, but the narrative will follow the noted captain helping a mysterious young woman called Dahj as she finds herself in trouble.
According to Deadline, the series has been given $20.4million (£15.3million) in California tax incentives with the series heading into a 10-episode order.

After his years as a star fleet captain, Picard has retired and has set up home in his vineyard, willing the days away in his new content life.
But he is soon joined by a mysterious young woman Dahj in the new chapter of his life, who he seeks to help after coming to believe is in imminent danger.
Speaking to TrekCore, writer Alex Kurtzman said: ‘You know, we feel a tremendous responsibility to the fans who have loved [the Picard character], and Patrick himself, who took a massive leap of faith with us in choosing to come back and play Picard [after] he said he was done forever.
‘[Stewart] also said, “I want to make sure if I come back, if you loved The Next Generation, you’ll feel we’re honouring it, but this is a very different experience.” This is a very different experience.’
Picard was one of the 15 TV series that were awarded these credits, which aim to ultimately help increase revenue for the state.
Other shows who received money from the state include Impeachment: American Crime Story, Netflix’s Special renewed for season two, Lucifer season five and the remake of Grease.
Star Trek: Picard launches 24 January on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
