Olly Murs has officially introduced his new girlfriend Amelia Tank to the world – by making the relationship Instagram official.

The Troublemaker singer confirmed he was dating bodybuilder Amelia last month.

Now, the 35-year-old has opened up further about the new relationship in a New Year’s social post.

‘Wishing all my followers the happiest new year!!,’ he said. ‘2019 was a very positive year for me… winning The Voice with Molly, toured my album, had long overdue knee surgery and met an amazing woman in the process!

‘2020 I’m ready for ya! Love you all, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!’

Speaking about Amelia, Olly previously told The Sun: ‘I’m going to spend some time with her [at Christmas] really, it’s been amazing.

‘I haven’t had a girlfriend for four years at Christmas, it’s been a bit lonely. So this year is going to be great.’

He also said: ‘This is new for me. I had a girlfriend four years ago but this feels completely different, it feels fresh and new.’

The star also said he wouldn’t rule out moving in with 27-year-old Amelia in the near future, claiming: ‘We’re spending Christmas Day with our families and then we’re having our own Christmas together. It’s going to be nice.

‘We’re not living together yet, but whoah, I can barely look after myself! Who knows? I’m in a great place and I love being with her so we’ll see.’

Good for him!

Olly was previously in a long term relationship with Francesca Thomas, from whom he split in 2015, and has dated the likes of Love Island’s Zara McDermott.

The star rose to fame as a contestant on the X Factor, where he came runner up to Joe McElderry in 2009.

He returned to the world of TV with a presenting stint on the Xtra Factor in 2011, before joining The Voice UK as a coach in 2017.

James May has dealt with some difficult machinery in his day thanks to The Grand Tour (we’re not talking Jeremy Clarkson)… but he may have met his match in new series, Our Man in Japan.

The TV presenter heads over to the tech-savvy country and learns a thing or two in the first look clip – which sees him tackle life as an actual robot.

Meeting up with a scientist who created the device – which is essentially a pod on legs – James got a very unreassuring giggle when he asked: ‘Are you mad?!’

But while he might be used to being in the driver’s seat normally, it turns out the 56-year-old isn’t a massive fan of being in a robot control centre.

Walking it around a car park centre, they’re also not very fast.

‘It’s exactly what a robot should be,’ he then told him… but the best is yet to come.

Urged to follow the scientist around the corner into a new garage, James looks horrified as he’s confronted with a giant robot that looks suspiciously like a real-life transformer.

With a blue and yellow that bright, Michael Bay would be proud and Optimus Prime would be shaking in his boots.

Clearly horrified, James answered his own questions by declaring: ‘He is mad!’

This is only the start of the start’s adventures though – considering that he’s off on an eight-episode trip around Japan.

Which comes just as he suggested that has time on The Grand Tour alongside Hammond and May could be coming to an end.

Speaking ahead of the Our Man in Japan launch, James said: ‘I’m in the second half of my fifties now and in all honesty, I’m slightly falling apart.’

‘I’m developing nervous disorders and aches and I don’t think I’ll do this much longer because I don’t want to fall apart in public,’ he told The Sun.

‘It would just be a bit undignified and I don’t think people want to see it.’

So we guess in the meantime he’s trying something more dignified. Like going to a penis festival.

When Luka Magnotta was locked up in prison for the violent and disgusting murder of Jun Lin, most would’ve thought justice would have been served – but in a complete gutpunch, that’s far from the case.

The sickening killer, who filmed stomach-churning videos starting with the murder of cats before eventually escalating to the death of 33-year-old student Jun, is now actually thriving after being locked up, despite his heinous crimes.

Magnotta lured Jun Lin to his death by putting up a Craigslist ad for a casual hookup, before tying him to a bed and stabbing him to death with a screwdriver.

The killer had modified the weapon to look like an icepick – in a vile and twisted homage to Basic Instinct – then dismembered and defiled the body, sending his hands and feet around Canada.

Sentenced to life imprisonment in 2014, Magnotta is able to apply for parole in 2039 and is currently residing in a prison in Quebec, Canada.

But while the family of Jun Lin continue to grieve their son and brother, who was taken unnecessarily and violently before his death was broadcast on the internet in a sickening snuff film, Luka has continued life virtually as normal.

In letters obtained by Toronto Sun in 2015, Magnotta wrote: ‘Our doors are open 90% of the time so for me I feel like I’m in a university setting.’

‘I just bought Celine Dion’s album and a lot of others. I have a stereo and a portable for when I suntan outside,’ he added.

He talks highly of playing hockey and tennis, as well as being sent chocolate on Valentine’s Day from admirers.

In another letter to his pals, who he addresses as ‘Rosebud’ and ‘Sugarplum’, Magnotta asked: ‘I wonder what it would be like to be f***ed by one of the royal family? I bet Will and Harry know just how to use their crown jewels lol.’

He also complained about the amount of chocolate in the facility was ruining his diet, with arguments breaking out of Ferrero Rocher.

The calculated and self-involved killer, who would taunt and threaten internet sleuths trying to track him down and mailed Lin’s body parts to political headquarters, is even now married.

Magnotta’s mother Anna Yourkin served as witness at the wedding ceremony in 2017, tying the knot with fellow inmate Anthony Jolin after they met on a dating website called Canadian Inmates connect back in 2015.

Jolin is also currently serving a life sentence for murder, after stabbing a fellow convict to death in 2003, while serving time for another offence.

As a married couple, they will be entitled to ‘trailer visits’ together.

At the time, Daniel Benson, a social integration worker at Pont-Cartier Penitentiary in Canada told TVA Nouvelles: ‘I do not want to make any value judgment on Mr. Magnotta, but with the offense he committed … leaving that person alone with his spouse unattended for 2-3 days, I have a certain (unease).’

This is the same man who, in a cruel and calculated attack too sickening to describe, took the life of a young man whose family were depending on him in their old age.

After the conviction, the Lin family were promised by the Canadian police force that justice would be served to Magnotta to its fullest extent.

Curtis Pritchard admitted he won’t be watching the winter series of Love Island.

The star, who rose to fame on the show, barely has time to see his girlfriend Maura Higgins let alone watch the new series.

The 23-year-old told the PA news agency: ‘I don’t know if I’m going to watch it, not because I don’t want to but my time has been very limited recently so whenever I can relax it’s really with Maura and my mum and my dad and my friends, I don’t watch too much TV anymore.’

How is he going to miss Laura Whitmore as the brand new host in a brand new country?

Maura and Curtis rarely have time to see each other due to busy schedules, with Maura joining Dancing On Ice and Curtis has been boxing for the new show The Boxer & The Ballroom Dancer.

‘We have been all over the place right now, she will either try and come to me or I will try and come to her because she’s in Dancing On Ice and I’ve been boxing, so we are just scattered everywhere,’ Curtis continued.

‘We are not struggling with the relationship or anything like that, we are in a great place, but time management is a crucial thing.’

Although his beau was a novice ice skater, Curtis admitted she’s only had a few bruises and scrapes on her knees.

On Sunday 22 December, Curtis supported Maura during the special Dancing On Ice Christmas show.

While watching from the sidelines, the ITV2 seemed surprised that Maura had talent on ice.

‘Eh, that ain’t bad,’ Curtis said.

Maura replied: ‘What would you know about it? He thinks he knows more than me.’

Clearly used to barking orders as a professional dancer, Curtis then shouted: ‘Stop talking.’

Yikes, it’s a good thing Curtis isn’t actually her trainer or she might snap before the show even starts.

Dancing On Ice debuts on 5 January at 6pm on ITV.

Cheryl has said her TV show The Greatest Dancer is making her consider a return to the world of ballet.

The Love Made Me Do It singer studied ballet as a child, even joining the Royal Ballet’s summer school at nine.

However, she quit shortly after, before finding fame at the age of 19 on Popstars: The Rivals and with the band Girls Aloud.

‘It makes me want to do ballet again, it really does,’ said Cheryl of the show, which returns to BBC1 on Saturday 4 January 2020.

‘It’s hard, it’s a very hard dance but I’m more than happy to get into it.

‘When I watch dancers that makes me feel the way they move and the nostalgia it causes for me, it inspires me to want to do different styles, I love it so much.’

She then added to PA: ‘I could watch them audition all day and the pressure is off us because the audience are deciding.’

Cheryl will be joined on The Greatest Dancer panel by Oti Mabuse of Strictly Come Dancing fame, Glee star Matthew Morrison and new recruit Todrick Hall, best known for his dance workshops on RuPaul’s Drag Race (and for being part of Taylor Swift’s squad).

Speaking about Todrick to Weekend last week, Cheryl said: ‘Oh my God, I am obsessed with [him].

‘He’s a lot of fun. He’s choreographed a Beyonce video and worked with Ariana Grande. I screamed when I found out he was joining us.’

In the interview, Cheryl also opened up about Bear, her son with One Direction star Liam Payne, and how she navigates social media as a mum.

‘I don’t put him on social media and exploit him to millions of strangers I’ve never met,’ she said. ‘I’m not comfortable with that, and that way I can keep him for myself. I want him to be a kid for as long as possible.’

The Greatest Dancer airs on BBC1 on Saturday January 4 at 7pm.

Kirstie Allsopp revealed she enjoys being a ‘middle-aged girlfriend’ and prefers it to the chaos of getting married.

The TV presenter wanted to avoid the costs and struggles of planning the perfect wedding and has been with her partner Ben Andersen for 16 years.

Writing for Daily Mail, the 48-year-old explained: ‘I am at a loss when people question not being married, as if by not getting married you are somehow dismissing the choice they have made.

‘Each to their own is my feeling. I’ve been with my partner for 16 years and have two children and two stepchildren and, like many of my friends, we are very happily unmarried.’

She continued: ‘I have no problem being a middle-aged girlfriend with an even older middle-aged boyfriend. And I have learnt from the very best, as we live next door to the most famous happily unmarried couple — Richard Curtis and Emma Freud.’

Kirstie admitted she didn’t want the ‘attention’ of being a bride as she didn’t like the idea of a day of ‘self-absorption’.

‘The rigmarole of getting married has got completely out of control,’ the Location, Location, Location star started. ‘Starting with the hen party, which has gone from a one-night gathering of female friends to a weekend, or even a week, involving expenditure on travel, accommodation and gifts.

‘Seriously, if you gave most women a truth drug, they would admit that being invited to a hen do always makes their heart sink.

‘Then there is the wedding itself, with the fashion for weekend-long events, involving more travel and expense for friends and family. The endless kids or no-kids debate, the finding of ‘the dress’, the decisions over flowers, invitations, menus, music, venues, the first dance and on and on and on.’

She’s making us panic about weddings, now.

What kind of flowers do we want, oh Lord.

However, the star thinks one day she may get married but wants to make sure that when that day comes, it’s a ‘low-key affair’ like dinner at a restaurant.

Jamie Redknapp might have retired from football 15 years ago but he’s definitely still got skills.

The 46-year-old was spotted showing off his ball control during a beach day with sons Beau and Charley, in Miami.

It’s alright for some.

Rocking jazzy blue swimming shorts, Harry Redknapp’s son – who shares two children with ex-wife Louise – was full of concentration as he got some practise in.

Eldest son Charley joined in the fun and unveiled his own techniques, decked out in a Liverpool shirt for the afternoon.

The dad-of-two also found time to lark around with youngster Beau, bonding over a game of American football.

Jamie was recently joined by the 11-year-old for his Christmas campaign with Vodafone, in which they starred in an advert to promote a festive game.

And the former England ace told Metro.co.uk he would love to see his youngest son pursue a career in front of the camera in the future.

‘I try my best to keep my kids as private as possible, but there are certain times when it’s a nice thing to be involved in,’ he said.

On whether he would be happy if Beau caught the spotlight bug, he continued: ‘I’d think it was great. As long as it’s the right way, and if he wants to do it and he’s passionate about it, I’d do everything I can to help him, my dad did the same with me.

‘It’s got to come from within, as well. He’s got to be passionate about it and work hard at it. If he doesn’t, he won’t be successful.

‘If he does, he can do whatever he likes in life.’

Jamie and ex-wife Louise have always kept their relationship and children out of the limelight as much as possible.

The pair shocked fans when they filed for divorce in 2018, after a 19-year marriage, but have maintained a close bond for their little ones.

And Louise explained she still has ‘huge respect’ for her ex and his family and isn’t about to be unkind about them, despite the break-up.

‘If I am asked about that stuff then I’m certainly not going to slander or be unkind,’ the 45-year-old told MailOnline.

‘There’s nothing unkind to say. I have a huge respect for Jamie and his family.

‘You don’t spend 20 years with someone and not care about them still. Yes, there are good days and bad days. And the best songs are written when you’re feeling heartbroken.’

Dracula gave viewers plenty of goodies to sink their teeth into last night, which left us with a heap of questions. But did you notice the subtle connection to Doctor Who?

Stephen Moffat was at the helm of Doctor Who – which returned with one of its biggest shocks yet last night – as showrunner from 2008 right until Peter Capaldi’s exit as the Time Lord in 2017, while Mark Gatiss was among its writers too. And, in turn, during last night’s premiere the Dracula producers couldn’t resist paying homage to one of the great heroes of their time on sci-fi epic, Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman).

Did you spot it?

The episode’s first 60 minutes followed Dracula’s (played Cleas Bang) unfortunate house guest Jonathan Harker (John Heffernan), who received a letter from his fiancé, Mina (Morfydd Clark) mentioning the ‘adorable barmaid’ at The Rose and Crown.

If the pub’s name rings a bell and you’re a Whovian – it’s not a coincidence. Clara worked as a barmaid at The Rose and Crown during the 2012 Christmas Special, the Snowmen.

And plenty of fans went wild over the nod:

In another blink-and-you’ll miss it moment, Dracula also had a sneaky Sherlock Easter egg.

Sister Agatha (Dolly Wells) floored Jonathan by revealing the suspiciously quiet nun beside her throughout his interrogation was actually his fiancée, Mina

‘I apologise for the deception; it was necessary she heard the story from your own lips,’ Agatha, who later turned out to be revealed as Van Helsing teased.

And then you may have overlooked: ‘Having established your identity, it was not difficult to trace you back to England and find your worried fiancé. I have a detective acquaintance in London.’

During the Dracula world premiere, Moffat and Gatiss confirmed said detective is, of course, our Sherlock.

Dracula continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One.

Taking to Twitter in mid-December Sam discussed what a tricky time of year Christmas is for them.

‘Christmas time is upon us,’ they said. ‘This time of the year always triggers tricky body issues with me.

‘I love me some mince pies and all the trimmings, and I always find I gain a bit of weight during this time.

Sam’s NYE break comes after they revealed their decision to transition into a non-binary identity was triggered by their song with Normani, Dancing With a Stranger.

Speaking to Billboard, Sam said: ‘I had just gone through a breakup and the last thing I wanted to do was write a sad song.

‘I was listening to a lot of really sexy music because it made me feel better, so I wanted the song to capture what I was doing: going to clubs and kissing people.’

‘The song launched me into a really beautiful space of writing and freedom.

‘There’s a femininity within that song that has ignited a flame within me; it triggered the transition I’ve made into a non-binary person.’

The 10s were certainly a decade to remember for Sam, whose first two albums went to number one on both sides of the Atlantic.

Maura Higgins has blessed us all with a photo of herself and boyfriend Curtis Pritchard sharing a bath, and it is definitely… something.

The couple – who met on Love Island 2019 – have been forced to spend some time apart, while the model gears up for her Dancing On Ice debut.

Their lack of social media photos left fans convinced the pair had secretly split, but Maura let us all know this is absolutely not the case.

Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old shared a snap of herself and her beau sharing a bath together as they reunited for New Year’s Day.

A little too much information there but whatever works for you, huns.

In the racy/awkward photo that we can now never unsee, she could be seen raising a glass to the professional dancer who was smiling opposite her.

‘Happy new year,’ she simply captioned the upload, alongside a love heart.

But it hasn’t all been blissful for the pair, as Maura later admitted she had scoffed all of Curtis’ advent calendar chocolates.

Which is absolutely not ideal.

The trailer for A Quiet Place 2 has finally dropped and Emily Blunt’s second turn as a mother living in a world plagued by human-eating monsters that hunt by sound looks to be as gripping and tense as the first.

A Quiet Place first premiered at SXSW film festival in 2018 and the original horror film created quite the buzz with its debut.

A sequel to A Quiet Place was confirmed to be in the works back in April 2018, with director John Krasinski revealing in February that year that the team were about to start production on the new film.

But when can we expect to see the sequel in cinemas and which cast members are returning for A Quiet Place 2?

Who is in the cast of A Quiet Place 2?

John Krasinski, who wrote, directed and starred in the first film, returns for A Quiet Place 2 to direct again after writing the script for the sequel.

However, the actor will not star in the new movie alongside his wife, Emily Blunt because (spoiler alert!) anyone who has seen the first movie will know that his character, heroic dad Lee Abbott, died saving his children from the terrifying monsters in the first movie.

Krasinski will be directing his wife Emily once again as the actress returns as mother Evelyn Abbott, as do the two young actors who play her children, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe.

As the first film focused exclusively on the Abbott family and their fight for survival in the post-apocalyptic monster world, there are a number of new characters being introduced for A Quiet Place 2, as Evelyn and her children are forced to venture into the world beyond their now decimated home and meet other survivors along the way.

Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy joins the cast for A Quiet Place 2 and features heavily in the trailer suggesting he will take on a leading role.

Blood Diamond actor Djimon Hounsou also joins the cast in a leading role for the sequel.

When is A Quiet Place 2 released in the UK?

A Quiet Place 2 will be released in the UK on 20 March 2020, the same day that it will be released in the US.

Production on the second installment of the movie officially kicked off in July 2019 and filming had wrapped by the end of September last year.

Reaction to the new trailer has been generally positive with fans excited to see what Krasinski has come up with for the sequel.

‘This trailer already has me tense,’ commented one viewer after watching the trailer on YouTube, while another simply wrote, ‘I can’t wait to see this!’

Disney CEO Bob Iger has hinted we could get even more Baby Yoda in the future – as he says shows like The Mandalorian could be made into full-blown movies, too.

Following the success of the Disney+ show, Bob admitted it would be easy for the Star Wars show to cross over to the big screen too.

He said on The Star Wars Show: ‘I don’t look at it as just television, I look at it as an extension of Star Wars storytelling.

‘What Disney+ has given us the ability to do is to do just that, is to bring Star Wars to people in new ways, and to bring new Star Wars to people. It’s not the same places or the same characters.

‘Just look at Mandalorian. While, obviously, there’s a lot shared, there’s a lot that’s really fresh, and I love that.’

He added: ‘I love the ability to really be agnostic in terms of what platform it’s being made for. And so it could be, down the road, that a TV show becomes a movie and a movie becomes a TV series. I’m not making any announcements here or not, but I think it’s important for us to be agnostic.’

Despite Disney+ not being available in the UK until at least March, The Mandalorian has proven so popular in the USA that a second series has already been commissioned to arrive in the second half of 2020.

Other TV series in the Star Wars franchise will include and Obi-Wan series as well as an untitled Cassian Andor show which is in development.

The Obi-Wan series, which stars Ewan McGregor, was also originally intended to be a film before becoming a Disney+ series.

Disney Plus will launch in the UK on 31 March 2020.

Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant has teased the band’s Glastonbury return – and we are living for it.

The West End Girls duo, made up of himself and Chris Lowe, made a brief appearance at the annual festival last year, joining The Killers for their headline set on the Pyramid stage.

And the 65-year-old has hinted that fans could be seeing more of them during the 50th anniversary celebrations.

During an appearance on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, he was put on the spot when Nicki Chapman asked about a potential performance.

‘Talking of live work, you’re going to be touring the UK later this year … I can’t see Somerset down there … you know I’m thinking perhaps Glastonbury,’ the host suggested.

To which he replied: ‘Somerset, um of course Glastonbury is in Somerset…’

Attempting to sidestep the question – and failing entirely – he stumbled: ‘Well um … um … I’m um…

‘You have put me on the spot, let’s just leave me there… (sic).’

Nicki gave him an out, adding: ‘I’ll keep everything crossed!’

The Pet Shop Boys last played their own set at Glastonbury way back in 2010, so they’re definitely due a comeback.

And they definitely have time in their schedule, with their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour ending on 6 June, two weeks before the festival kicks off.

The duo will be in good company, with Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney confirmed to be headlining this year’s bash.

Michael Eavis, Glastonbury’s co-creator, announced the Shake It Off singer’s stint in a video, telling fans: ‘I’m so pleased to announce Taylor Swift to be headling the Sunday at Glastonbury this year.

‘She’s one of the biggest stars in the world, and she’s young and she’s a fantastic American girl.

‘It’s going to be beautiful and her songs are absolutely amazing. We’re so delighted.’

Tickets for Glastonbury 2020 – which takes place 24 – 28 June in Worthy Farm – are completely sold out, with eager fans snapping them all up in 34 minutes.

The BBC have dropped one hell of a teaser for their 2020 – including Stormzy’s TV debut, a first look at Little Mix: The Search, and the return of Killing Eve for season 3.

It’s clear the Beeb are going all out for this year with their output, with the two minute long trailer showcasing everything from comedy to dramas to old favourites.

Halfway through, we get our first glimpse of Stormzy in action in the adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses – giving a knowing nod as he tilts his head and declares: ‘Let’s party!’

The rapper has only ever acted in one other role, starring in film Brotherhood back in 2016 as character Yardz (plus his music videos, if you want to count them, but we’re not.)

It was announced in March last year he will be making an appearance in Noughts and Crosses, the BBC adaptation of the book series of the same name that’s been produced in part by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.

If that’s not for you, then there’s always classics returning including Call The Midwife and Killing Eve season three, with tiny glimpses revealing next to nothing about what happens.

Fresh from his first public appearance in months, there’s due to be a new series of Peter Kay’s Comedy Shuffle – which documents the star’s best sketches from his decades in the industry.

Then there’s Little Mix: The Search, which will see the band take on a talent hunt to find their support act for their 2020 tour, after finding fame on the X Factor.

Chuck in some new Line Of Duty, Michelle Keegan in Our Girl, Mary Berry searching for Britain’s Best Home Cook and All Round to Mrs Browns, and we’ve officially booked ourselves up for the year.

Vegan food has taken the world by storm, and some of the most vocal supporters of vegan diets have been celebrities.

Veganism, which is the practice of not eating or using any animal products, has surged in recent years – starting out as something of an unconventional lifestyle choice to becoming so popular that the likes of Greggs, McDonald’s and Subway have all launched vegan options.

So to mark Veganuary, here’s a rundown of celebs who eat vegan and sing the praises of their plant-based diets.

Joaquin Phoenix

Joker star Joaquin Phoenix has been a vegan since he was a child, and in 2019 he appeared in a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) billboard on Time Square encouraging people to go vegan.

On the subject, Phoenix said: ‘When we look at the world through another animal’s eyes, we have to realise that, inside, we’re all the same – and so we all deserve to live free from suffering.’

Ellen Pompeo

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo told People that she and her whole family are vegan, saying: ‘I think we’re at a critical point for our planet and in the United States this health issue is out of control, the obesity, the diabetes everything … Sickness is a huge business, I know that really, really well.

‘The message of veganism is not one that they want to get out but not only will it help us, it helps the planet.’

Zac Efron

In 2018, the High School Musical alum told Teen Vogue: ‘I’ve been experimenting with eating purely vegan. That’s completely changed the way that my body works, and the way that I metabolize food, the way it turns into energy, the way that I sleep.

‘It’s been brilliant. It’s been great for my exercise, and great for my routine.’

Bill Clinton

During a 2017 talk for that year’s Presidential Leadership Scholars program series, the former president was asked if it was difficult adopting a vegan diet, to which Clinton replied: ‘Not when you have [had a] quadruple heart bypass and you want to live to be a grandfather’.

Ava DuVernay

Ava DuVernay, the filmmaker who brought us Selma and When They See Us, was named one of PETA’s most beautiful vegan celebrities in 2018.

In 2017, she tweeted: ‘Like many food trends that seem new, black veganism has historical roots.’

She also quoted a New York Times article in the tweet, writing: ‘”For a lot of black people, it’s also about social justice and food access. The food we’ve been eating has been killing us.”’

Jessica Chastain

It Chapter 2 actor Jessica Chastain told W magazine in 2017 that she went vegan because she was ‘really low on energy’.

She added: ‘Being vegan was not anything I ever wanted to be. I just really was listening to what my body was telling me.’

Jenna Dewan

Jenna became a vegan when she was 10 after she watched a documentary on slaughterhouses.

She told Women’s Health in 2018: ‘The next day I said “I’m never eating meat again”. It just stuck. I feel good about it morally and physically.’

Beyonce

While Queen Bey isn’t a full-time vegan, she often eats plant-based meals and she prepped for her 2018 Coachella show by going vegan in the run-up.

She and her husband Jay-Z also went vegan for 22 days in 2013, with her trainer Marco Borges telling People in 2015: ‘They loved it.

‘They walked away with a greater understanding of the powerful benefits of plant-based nutrition. They were getting people saying, “Your skin has this glow.” And who doesn’t like being told they look awesome?’

Love Island’s Iain Sterling is set to give his first TV interview since Caroline Flack was arrested and charged with assault by battery during tomorrow’s Loose Women.

The voiceover, who has narrated the ITV2 reality series since its birth in 2015, will join tomorrow’s show, marking his first TV appearance since the host confirmed she was stepping down from the Winter edition of Love Island and will be replaced by Iain’s girlfriend, Laura Whitmore.

Today’s Loose Women panel – which consisted of Jane Moore, Stacey Solomon, Saira Khan and Andrea McLean – confirmed Iain’s slot during today’s show.

The sixth series of Love Island marks a sad and unexpected turn for the popular reality show after Caroline was charged with assault, subsequently pulling out of the next run.

Announcing her decision to step down, Caroline said in a statement: ‘There have been a significant number of media reports and allegations in regard to my personal life.

‘While matters were not as have been reported I am committed to cooperating with the appropriate authorities and I can’t comment further on these matters until the legal process is over.

‘However Love Island has been my world for the last five years, it’s the best show on telly. In order not to detract attention from the upcoming series I feel the best thing I can do is stand down from Series 6.

‘I want to wish the incredible team working on the show a fantastic series in Cape Town.’

The 40-year-old appeared in court on December 23 and pleaded not guilty to the charges, as it was claimed she hit her boyfriend Lewis Burton over the head with a lamp, which both she and the former professional tennis player have denied.

Caroline and Lewis were both been banned from communicating with each other at all costs, before she jet off to Los Angeles to escape and ‘clear her head’.

However, Lewis publically pledged his support to the presenter on social media.

On New Year’s Eve, Lewis denounced photos that emerged of bloodied sheets, insisting his girlfriend is ‘harmless’.

Kelly Marie Tran has revealed how hard the cast found it to film scenes for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker with the late Carrie Fisher.

The actor, 30, who plays Rose Tico in the film, admitted it was ‘challenging’ to film reactions to Carrie’s character of Princess Leia when she wasn’t actually there in physical form.

She told the Hollywood Reporter: ‘It’s one thing to sit there, look at that footage and try to react to it, but a lot of the big group scenes felt like they were puzzle pieces if that makes sense.

‘I think there were more reshoots on those scenes, specifically, to just try and make sure all of the performances matched up since she wasn’t physically there.’

Viewers criticised the lack of scenes Kelly was in in the movie, but Rise Of Skywalker co-writer Chris Terrio explained that it was due to the difference in quality of the footage of Carrie.

He explained: ‘One of the reasons that Rose has a few less scenes than we would like her to have has to do with the difficulty of using Carrie Fisher’s footage in the way we wanted to.

‘We thought we couldn’t leave Leia at the base without any of the principals who we love, so Leia and Rose were working together.

‘As the process evolved, a few scenes we’d written with Rose and Leia turned out to not meet the standard of photorealism that we’d hoped for. Those scenes, unfortunately, fell out of the film.

‘The last thing we were doing was deliberately trying to sideline Rose. We adore the character, and we adore Kelly – so much so that we anchored her with our favourite person in this galaxy, General Leia.’

Directors had used old footage of Carrie for the scenes after the actor died in 2016 at the age of 60. She had fallen ill on a flight and died in hospital after four days in intensive care.

Eamonn Holmes wants to have his beloved dog Maggie stuffed when she dies.

The This Morning host unveiled his taxidermy plans on his return to the show following the festive break, after Ruth Langsford revealed a viewer had received a stuffed pet for Christmas from their husband.

As you do.

‘I couldn’t think of anything more horrible to be given on Christmas Day. I have to say Victoria. But you like it…’ she said.

An impressed Eamonn perked up over the chat, getting some ideas for gifts he could eventually give himself.

‘Woody lives on. And you know, well you’re reading my mind,’ he replied.

‘Has anyone had their dog stuffed? I would like to know because it’s my intention.’

However, it doesn’t look like Ruth is a fan of his plans, shutting him down instantly.

‘You’re not having that done to our dog, absolutely not,’ she hit back.

‘It’s not happening. No.’

Eamonn and Ruth rescued Maggie nearly nine years ago, and the 60-year-old has shared a string of photos of the adorable dog on social media ever since.

Blessing us all with a loving tribute to the pooch on National Pet Day, he thanked her for making him a ‘better person’.

‘8 years ago this little darling came into my life and made me a better person,’ he wrote alongside the snap.

‘She was a rescue dog and I couldn’t understand why someone would not have cared for her before we came along.

‘She has given me so much unconditional love, attention and companionship. She makes me feel good about myself and about the world.

‘On this National Pet Day I just want to say Thank you Maggie.’

Katie Price’s dogs have been receiving all the love as they join the star for cuddles in bed.

The reality star shared a snap of her sitting on her bed as her precious puppers Blade and King joined her to have the best start to the new decade.

They’re good boys/girls and deserve all the cuddles they want.

She captioned her photo: ‘Puppy love’ along with a blue love heart.

Katie bought Blade as a ‘protection dog’  in July 2019 as she wanted to make her children – Princess, 12 Junior, 14 Bunny, 5 Jett, 6 and Harvey, 17 – feel safe at home after getting carjacked in South Africa in 2018.

The former Loose Women posted a video of her new pooch, named Blade, and showed off his skills.

According to Katie, her daughter Princess was ‘suffering’ from the terrifying incident which took place in March 2018 while she was filming her reality TV series.

Alongside a video of Blade going through his training, Katie said: ‘Meet Blade our new family protection dog @protectiondogworldwide doing our first training session together this morning!

‘I will feel safer and so will Princess as she still suffers from the hijack at gunpoint we had in South Africa when filming last year [sic].’

The hijacking incident saw thugs force their way into Katie’s 4×4 when she and two of her children, Princess and Junior, stopped at the side of the road to go to the toilet.

While most of the group were unhurt, a minder was hit in the face and camera gear, including laptops, and cash worth tens of thousands of pounds were stolen.

Katie recently revealed that she feeds her dogs two chickens a day (he’s probably hungry after a long day of protecting) during an episode of her two-part documentary My Crazy Life.

One scene showed Katie ordering an entire tray of minced lamb and 10 whole chickens.

Appalled, on-again-off-again boyfriend Kris Boyson yelled: ‘No, no, no! Why? What?’

Princess replied: ‘Yeah, but the dog eats that.’

Katie tried to explain that the dog has two whole chickens a day but Kris was still in shock: ‘It’s a dog, not a lion!’
