Vikings season six is the gift that keeps on giving, and this week’s instalment was no exception.

Following the death of Bjorn’s son Hali (Ryan Henson), the hour long episode showed the aftermath of the tragic event, which saw Lagertha’s village raided by White Hair and his men.

Over in Norway, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) has no idea his boy has been murdered, and has found himself going head to head with Harald (Peter Franzén) for the crown.

And if that wasn’t enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, Alica Agneson who played Ivar’s late wife Freydis in season five, has now returned into the new role of Princess Katya – and her former hubby was just as shook as we were at her comeback.

It was one intense episode that has left us with all the questions, as we let what we’ve just watched sink in.

Who will be crowned King of Norway?

First things first, who the heck is going to take the crown for the whole of Norway?

Olaf (Steven Berkoff) seems pretty convinced that it’s already in the hands of Bjorn, however, if the show sticks to the history books, then it should really land in Harald Finehair’s lap.

So while it seems like an easy win for the Son of Ragnar, don’t be fooled if next week we’re given a shock twist, seeing a new King in the form of Harald.

Trailers have already teased his reign by showing the warrior on the battle fields while wearing a crown.

Whether or not it comes easy to him we still don’t know, but one thing is for sure – director Michael Hirst has swerved history before, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he did it again for some dramatic plotline.

And let’s be serious, we wouldn’t be angry if he did.

Will White Hair return to Lagertha’s farm?

White Hair (Kieran O’Reilly) has got to have a lot of nerve if he wants to take on Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) again, especially after killing her grandson in cold blooded murder.

The bandit ran away from the farm after he was defeated by the former shieldmaidens.

But it looks as though he’ll be back, as Lags has now gone and made a trap for when he returns with his army of outcasts.

When Gunnhild (Ragga Ragnars) arrives at the village, she shares a heart to heart with her mother-in-law who informs her Hali has died.

‘Hali is dead, it is my fault I did not protect him,’ she chokes up before expressing: ‘They will attack again soon, they did not manage to take out grain

Talking about her old self, she then states: ‘Perhaps that Lagertha is already dead I buried her myself then I had to dig her up again.

‘But she is not the same, she can never be the same.’

Will Hvitserk kill Ivar?

Hvitserk (Marco Ilsø) is going through his own personal battle with PTSD after watching his girlfriend Thora (Eve Conolly) being burned to death, following on from the murder of his other girlfriend Margrethe (Ida Marie Nielsen), as well as losing his brother Ivar and believing he could be dead.

And while he turn to self-medicating, the Son of Ragnar finds himself hallucinating his deceased loved ones.

When sat in his barn after chomping down on some mushrooms, Thora appears covered in burns as she drags herself through the wall – like something out of a Freddy Krueger film.

‘Look at me Hvitserk,’ she whispers to her man before saying: ‘IIvar did this to me, look at me don’t be afraid.’

Hvitserk cowers into a corner as his ex starts to creep closer and closer while planting sinister thoughts into his mind.

‘I want revenge, the only person who can avenge my death is you,’ she hisses: ‘You have to kill Ivar. Ivar killed me, he killed my family. You will do it won’t you?’

Crying at his vision, Hvitserk swears on the arm ring his father gave him as he chants: ‘I swear, I swear.’

Is this scene setting up an epic showdown between the two brothers? We sure hope so!

Who is Princess Katya?

Prince Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky) is sure plotting something after introducing his new bride to Ivar The Boneless.

The actress who played Ivar’s late wife has now returned to the show as Oleg’s girl, and it’s not sitting right with the fallen king.

Walking into his chambers, the Oleg announces his bride to his guests: ‘I want to introduce you to my intended bride, this is Princess Katya.’

Ivar turns his head to see the newcomer and looks pretty perplexed – as though he’d just seen a ghost enter the room.

‘My dear Katya, may I introduce you to my cousin lord, Prince Igor,’ Oleg says as Igor (Oran Glynn O’Donovan) gets up to meet her.

‘And this is the Viking king I told you about,’ he continues: ‘This is Ivar, the famous Ivar The Boneless.’

Lost for words, the Son of Ragnar manages to splutter up: ‘Princess.’

Completely baffled by their similarities, he quizzes the newbie later on in the episode, and tells her that they used to be married.

‘Princess,’ he tells her: I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to talk to you privately sure you understand why I need to talk to you – Oleg is playing games with me.’

But is she related to Freydis or is this all just a coincidence? We guess we’ll find out soon as Vikings returns to the History Channel and Amazon Prime on Wednesday.

Nick Gordon’s last Instagram and Twitter posts were about the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, pleading his innocence after being found liable for the death of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter.

Bobbi’s death in 2015 thrust Nick into the spotlight, as the pair were engaged when Bobbi was found unresponsive in a bathtub at the townhouse they shared in Atlanta.

Nick was found liable for her death in 2016, but in some of his final posts on social media in 2017, he sent the singer birthday wishes and shared posts about his innocence.

On what would have been Bobbi’s 24th birthday in 2017, he tweeted: ‘Happy Birthday’ along with the angel emoji.

He had also shared a post appearing to be from Bobbi Kristina in which she called out fans who had criticised Nick and their relationship.

Since her death, Nick had posted several photos of the couple together as well as posts reading: ‘True love never dies’ and

‘Just because you are ignorant enough to believe the media doesn’t mean I stop posting things about Krissi. If you don’t like it unfollow.’

Nick was found dead on New Year’s Day, aged 30, in a suspected drug overdose five years after Bobbi was put into a coma after being found unresponsive.

He is said to have suffered a series of heart attacks after being rushed into intensive care in Florida, with his brother confirming the news of his death.

Nick’s brother, Jack walker Jr told People in a statement: ‘We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother.

‘He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.’

Bobbi Kristina – the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston – died on 26 July, 2015 aged 22 after six months in a medically induced coma after being found face down in a bathtub.

The underlying cause of death was determined as immersion associated with drug intoxication, but the manner of death was undetermined.

A year after Bobbi’s death, her boyfriend Nick was found responsible for Bobbi’s wrongful death and ordered to pay $36 million to Bobbi’s estate.

The couple had previously announced they had got married in 2014, but it was later determined they never legally wed.

Kate Garraway and Myles Stephenson’s flirty banter is keeping strong even after I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here as the pair blushed through a reunion on Good Morning Britain.

Joined by Ben Shepherd in the studio to present today’s show, Kate couldn’t help herself but make a joke or two with Rak-Su’s Myles, 28 – before confessing she stalks his Insta

Myles had admitted that he had developed a crush on Kate while they spent three weeks in the jungle together, with the pair becoming quite the double act in the unlikely pairing.

As Myles joined her in a professional capacity on GMB, Ben couldn’t help but point out Kate’s spring in her step with their temp showbiz correspondent causing her to beam.

‘Is this the first time there has been a reunion on screen?,’ Ben asked her, to which Kate replied: ‘No, no. We’ve done it several times. On and off.’

Myles then wound her up even more with a cheeky grin and a ‘hello darling’ to kick off their chat.

Unable to stop blushing, Kate then revealed that she’d been keeping a keen eye on what he’d been keeping up to since leaving the jungle – including his New Year’s Eve bash.

‘If you follow Myles on Instagram, which I do very closely, and in real life…,’ she admitted.

‘The restraining order is coming don’t worry!’ Kate then laughed. ‘It looked like a very glamorous party!’

Myles has become a semi-regular feature on GMB during the Christmas holidays, filling in for Richard Arnold to give the showbiz news.

During his time on the show, he’s also admitted to using dating app Raya – the exclusive celebrity dating app that Channing Tatum is now reportedly using.

Even then, he couldn’t help but give a little nod about his love of older women, which has become public knowledge since his closeness with Kate.

Thankfully Kate’s husband Derek Draper has taken his new playful rival on the chin, and is still immensely proud of his wife, staying strong after 14 years of marriage.

He previously told Lorraine Kelly: ‘At first I was getting jealous and paranoid and then I remembered she is my wife and she is coming home to me.

‘So I am the winner really.’

The couple have two children together, 13-year-old Darcey and William, 10.

Ricki Lake has opened up about her decades-long struggle with hair loss, saying the condition has at times made her feel suicidal.

The 51-year-old added that she first began losing her hair while playing Tracy Turnblad in the iconic 1988 movie Hairspray.

The X Factor: Celebrity contestant discussed her journey in posts shared to Facebook and Instagram, revealing her new buzz cut.

In her accompanying caption, she wrote: ‘I am not sick. (THANK GOD). I am not having a mid-life crisis. Nor am I having a mental breakdown, though I have been suffering.

‘Suffering mostly in silence on and off for almost 30 years.

‘I have been struggling with hair loss for most of my adult life.

‘It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things. There have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it. Almost no one in my life knew the level of deep pain and trauma I was experiencing.’

‘I know that by sharing my truth, I will be striking a chord with so so many women and men,’ she said. ‘I am not alone in this and my goal is to help others while at the same time unshackle myself from this quiet hell I have been living in.’

This is pretty inspirational.

And sorry to state the obvious, but her buzz cut actually looks amazingly cool!

Ricki explained that her hair was ‘never the same’ after it was triple-processed and teased for her Hairspray role.

She then said ‘I believe my hair loss was due to many factors, yo-yo dieting, hormonal birth control, radical weight fluctuations over the years, my pregnancies, genetics, stress, and hair dyes and extensions.’

She later added: ‘Well, it is a new year and new decade and a new me. With the love and support of some of my dearest friends, John Bonny, Mandy Ingber, Sarah Havana Prats, and my love, Jeff Scult, I buzzed my hair off and it feels so good!’

Ricki began dating boyfriend Jeffrey after her husband of five years Christian Evans passed away in 2015. She has two kids – Milo, 22 and Owen, 18 – with first husband Rob Sussman, who she was married to from 1994 to 2004.

Brenda Blethyn has revealed she would love to continue filming Vera for as long as she can – even if she has to play her on a ‘zimmer’.

The actress will be back as our much-loved detective DCI Stanhope in January 2020 as we embark on series 10.

Ahead of the new season, Brenda exclaimed that she will continue to play Vera for as long as she can.

‘I’m fit and well. Why not? It’s a comfort. You want Vera to go on,’ she began.

‘You look forward to doing more. After you’ve had a breather. But I don’t think I can play Vera on a Zimmer. Or maybe I can.’

Recently ITV dropped a first-look clip of series 10 and sees Vera moaning at Aidan Healy (Kenny Doughty) ‘you haven’t got peas with mine, have you?’

To which he responds? ‘Have I ever got peas in yours?’

The trailer then skips to different clips of our favourite detective asking questions and just being generally well…Vera.

‘Get out and start searching,’ she shouts.

‘What have we got? Where did you run? What did you talk about? What do you know?’

Taking to Twitter ITV posted: ‘Aye pet, we’re heading up north because DCI Stanhope is back on the scene.  The new series of Vera. Starts Sunday 12 January only on @ITV @BrendaBlethyn @VeraSeries.’

We can’t wait to see our favourite detective back in action.

Brenda had previously let slip that the show was back filming in April, while talking about the success of the series with Lorraine Kelly.

She told her: ‘You always hope… when we did the pilot that they will make it in a series and it’s always a wonderful thrill each year when it’s recommissioned, and we are starting season ten end of April.’

‘The enthusiasm and warmth shown to Vera has been overwhelming and we can’t wait to get started. Newcastle here we come!’

Joining DCI Vera Stanhope for the next episodes will be the ever-reliable DC Kenny Lockhart (Jon Morrison), DC Mark Edwards (Riley Jones), DC Jacqueline Williams (Ibinabo Jack) and Pathologist Dr. Malcolm Donahue (Paul Kaye) will be rounding out the team once more.

The show has become a massive hit with ITV viewers, averaging at 7.9million viewers as North-East detective Vera beats out the best when it comes to cracking down on crime.

It’s also one of the most successful imported drama titles in Belgium, Denmark, France, Netherlands and Norway, and has been sold to more than 150 territories worldwide.

Series 10 will focus on four brand-new, self-contained stories.

Vera will be back on 12 January on ITV at 8pm.

The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco is feeling the New Year’s celebrations as she prepares to go back to work on The Flight Attendant. Although, unlike some of us she has still got another 10 day break ahead.

The 34-year-old recently admitted her new drama has been the ‘most challenging’ project of her career as she yawned over a hot cuppa in her new series A Cup of Cuoco.

In her latest video on Instagram, the former Penny Holfstader actress realised she needs to get her ‘s**t together’ before she’s back in her flight attendant uniform.

‘It’s 2020, I feel like I got run over by a truck,’ she told her 5.8 million Instagram followers. ‘It’s so unfair – the older we get the less fun we’re supposed to have because we get punished for it.

‘I swear I had two glasses of wine – two. I’m being honest, I would tell you if I had, like, raged. I feel like I drank 20 bottles. Now it’s like the more we do the more we’re punished, but I didn’t even do that much – it’s so unfair! I used to be able to drink two bottles not two glasses and feel totally normal.’

She continued: ‘I go back to work in 11 days so we need to get girlfriend’s shit together. I might even do a double workout today. She’s coming in hot. She’s coming in hot.’

Kaley – who comically hit back at her former The Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki with a dig this week – has done anything but slow down since waving goodbye to the sitcom.

As well as playing Harley Quinn in the Batman villain’s foul-mouthed animated series, she’s starring as Cassandra Bowden in The Flight Attendant, who wakes up in a hotel room with the worst hangover of her life after a night out in Dubai.

And to make her morning from hell even more unbearable, there’s a dead body beside her and she has a sneaking suspicion she may have something to do with said corpse’s demise. Bummer.

The Flight Attendant is expected to air on HBO Max in 2020 while The Big Bang Theory is available to stream on Netflix UK.

Kehlani has led the tributes to rapper Lexii Alijiai who has died at the age of 21 on New Year’s Day. Her cause of death has yet to be announced.

Lexii’s cousin, Raeisah Clark, confirmed her death in a Facebook post on 1 January, writing: ‘Your [sic] a real Legend. If you know her or heard her music you’d feel chills.

‘Rest in paradise you’ll never be forgotten! I’m so lost for words…my beautiful cousin with so much talent & Unique soul Lexi Alijai. It’s too soon.’

Another family member, LaMycha N Jett, shared photos of Lexii, adding: ‘This thing called life is crazy as hell. My heart is broken the tears won’t stop. I’m trynna hold it together… I love you more then you’ll ever know.’

Kehlani – who collaborated with Lexii in 2015, also posted a lengthy tribute to the rising star.

Nick Gordon has died in a suspected drug overdose, aged 30.

The ex-boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown is thought to have suffered a series of heart attacks after he was rushed into hospital in Florida, with his brother later confirming his death on New Year’s Day.

And, in his final interview before his passing, he opened up on his tumultuous relationship with Whitney Houston and her daughter.

He was a close friend of the family, and moved in with them when he was 17-years-old, before starting up a romantic relationship with Bobbi.

Speaking about their bond, Gordon suggested he was their ‘protector’ and soon became the man of the house, when Whitney’s ex, Bobby Brown, left – describing themselves as the ‘three musketeers’.

Recalling his time with Whitney, he said: ‘We immediately clicked. From day one it was a really, really cool relationship so I’ll miss it forever.

‘It was like a mother, son relationship. It really was.’

The I Will Always Love You singer tragically died in 2012, with her body found in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, just before the Grammy Awards.

Nick claimed Bobbi broke down soon after, alleging she tried to commit suicide on two occasions, before they both turned to drugs.

Bobbi later passed away in 2015, with her body found face-down in a tub, similar to her mother’s death.

The former landscaper was previously found liable for her overdose, with the 22-year-old’s family accusing him of giving her a ‘toxic cocktail’.

But Nick has always maintained his innocence, and insisted he had no regrets over their time together, urging everyone to remember the ‘beauty’ of both Whitney and Bobbi.

‘I’m so happy I got to live with them and give them the little bit of happiness I could towards the end of their journey down here,’ he added to DailyMail.

‘I’d do it all over again knowing the outcome.’

Jack Walker, Nick’s brother, confirmed his death to People on Wednesday, explaining he was surrounded by his family when he died.

‘We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother,’ he told the publication. ‘He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends.

‘Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.’

Suzi Quatro has confirmed that Miley Cyrus has been approached to play her in an upcoming biopic on the star’s life.

Legendary rocker Suzi led the female punk movement in the 70s, joining an elite team of punk rock females that also spawned the likes of Joan Jett and The Runaways.

Ahead of the release of her latest album, Suzi, 69, is now laying down her story for the big screen, following the likes of Elton John’s Rocketman and Freddie Mercury’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Talking about her plans on Good Morning Britain and who could play her, the Wild One singer confessed: ‘Jeez, I wish I could do it myself, but Miley Cyrus. She has been approached, and she’s a cutie pie isn’t she? She’s a talented girl.’

‘But I’m going to be involved in the casting obviously, and unless I get the vibe…,’ she added.

‘I want a vibe. I’m working on the screenplay with the writer.’

The outspoken star has also promised something no-holds-barred, which is something we expect nothing less from the Devil Gate Driver bass player and singer.

With 28-year-old Miley’s wild child ways going down in infamy, we couldn’t think of someone more perfect for the role, to be honest.

And the move couldn’t come at a better time for the entertainer, as she kicks off 2020 having finalised her divorce from Liam Hemsworth and starting a new duet project with boyfriend Cody Simpson.

***Warning: The Witcher season 1 spoilers ahead***

The Witcher’s Yennefer definitely doesn’t have it easy during her time in season 1 – and Anya Chalotra had to tackle a lot of challenges in order to portray her.

But in one of the most hard-to-watch scenes of the lot (which is saying something, considering there’s a moment we literally see her break her bones into a new shape), is when she’s left cradling the lifeless body of a baby girl.

After trying to save the tot and her cold-hearted mother queen Kalis (Isobel Laidler) from a magical assassin, Yennefer eventually fled with the baby through a portal, after Kalis cruelly offered her daughter as a sacrifice in a bid to save herself.

However, landing in the ocean, the baby didn’t survive, and a devastated Yen is seen burying the baby in the sand before heading off for a new life.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Anya explained: ‘It was [really hard] and it’s also hard when the sun’s going down and we have to get the shot then, and but what it is, it’s like it’s also a gift, because what the writers have created in Yennefer’s journey just gives you so much more…

‘It’s just a deeper understanding of the character where she’s going, her motives, and yeah, I lift those things where we can connect with the heart of Yennefer, behind the facade.’

Yennefer’s life plans are forever altered as a result of caring for the young girl, suddenly desiring her own after giving up her ability to have children in exchange for her looks.

Despite every effort she could conjure to keep the baby alive, it was too late to save her, and in an emotional moment, Yennefer talks bitterly about the life the child could have led, but missed out on.

It’s something that eventually leads her to cross paths with Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), attempting to take the abilities of a wish-granting djinn to allow her to finally have children.

With Anya willing to take on anything thrown at her, whether it’s this heartbreaking scene, the sass of Yen’s interactions with Geralt, or even refusing body doubles and doing nude scenes herself, Anya has proven she’s not afraid to take on the challenge.

No wonder casting director Sophie Holland couldn’t resist hiring her immediately for the bewitching role – before even Henry Cavill had landed the part of the leading man.

George Michael’s ex, Fadi Fawaz, has reportedly been told not to attend Melanie Panayiotou’s funeral amid tensions with the family.

Melanie died three years to the day after her brother George on Christmas Day, and is set to be buried next to him this week.

Fadi reportedly sent his condolences after hearing the news that Melanie had died aged 55, but his recent battles with the family to get a share of George’s £98million estate has led to the family apparently asking him to stay away.

A source told The Sun: ‘Fadi did nothing but elevate the stress and sadness following George’s death. Melanie was particularly upset by his actions.

‘It made the family’s decision to snub him a simple one. They want to mourn her without distraction.’

Melanie was found dead at her home in Hampstead by her sister, Yioda, 57, on Christmas Day, after passing away suddenly.

It’s claimed she will be buried beside George and their mother, Lesley, in Highgate Cemetery in North London this week.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, while George’s grave is unmarked, Melanie will ‘definitely’ get a headstone.

The family decided to leave George’s grave unmarked to prevent it being turned into a shrine to the Wham! singer following his death in 2016.

A source told the paper: ‘George still doesn’t have a gravestone three years after his death, and it’s going to stay that way.

‘Now that they will also have to visit the family plot to mourn Melanie, they don’t want to be wading through fans and their tributes just to pay respect to the growing number of their tragic loved ones.’

Fans had been leaving flowers and other tributes outside the singer’s home following his death, and the source added:

‘They want his grave to remain clear of that sort of thing.

‘They want it to be the place he and now his poor sister can really rest in peace. George’s family has paid for extra security at his grave.’

George died at his home in Goring-on-Thames on Christmas Day at the age of 53 of natural causes caused by heart disease and fatty liver.

Melanie’s cause of death has yet to be revealed but the Metropolitan Police confirmed it is ‘not being treated as suspicious’.

The last public picture of Nick Gordon – the ex of Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died yesterday aged 30 – was a 2018 police mugshot, it has emerged.

Brown died of a suspected drug overdose yesterday [1 January 2020], his brother Jack Walker Jr. confirmed to People.

Brown was arrested in March 2018 on suspicion of domestic battery and false imprisonment after his girlfriend at the time, Laura Leil, filed a police report alleging he’d beaten her and held her against her will. He was later arrested again for violating a no-contact order after spending the night with her.

The charges were later dropped, with a spokesperson for Seminole County, Florida Prosecutors telling US Weekly: ‘Nick Gordon will not be charged for domestic violence by his girlfriend Laura Leal, since her original statement has been recanted.

‘The prosecutor’s office cannot move forward with the charges without another independent witness to the crime.’

Bobbi Kristina died of pneumonia in 2015 after being in a medically-induced coma for six months, after being found unconscious in a bathtub at her Georgia home. An autopsy found several narcotics and prescription drugs in her body, including marijuana, alcohol and medications.

Three years ago, Gordon was found liable in the wrongful death case of his former fiancée.

Whitney Houston, known for hits like I Will Always Love You and I Have Nothing, died in 2012.

The official cause of her death was drowning, heart disease and cocaine use.

In a statement, Brown’s brother said: ‘We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother. He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one.

‘I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.’

Bobbi is survived by her father, the singer Bobby Brown.

Brendan O’Carroll, creator and star of sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys, has said his grandson asked him to use his show to raise awareness of environmental issues.

However, the 64-year-old says he turned down his request, claiming the tone of his show is not right for such a message.

Brendan furthermore revealed that the 10-year-old accused him and his generation of not doing enough to save the planet.

Awkward.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘I wrote it in a script where somebody said to Mrs Brown, “Your generation has f***ed up this planet” but it never made an episode as I thought, “No, it’s too serious!”’

The star also denied that his generation are to blame for the eco-crisis, saying: ‘Our generation were doing it right. It’s the disposable generation who are ruining the planet.

‘Everything is disposable now, even furniture. We had a couch all our lives, they change their couch now like they change their wallpaper.

‘We recycled bottles and washed out nappies. We had the right idea back then.’

A New Year’s Day special of Mrs Brown’s Boys aired yesterday, with another special aired on Christmas Day.

Speaking about the possibility of another series in the future, Brendan recently told Metro.co.uk: ‘I’m happy with Christmas specials. At some stage… they continually hint at some stage of having a full series back. Just having a full series.

‘The agreement with the BBC is that when they decide it’s over, it’s over and that suits me fine… But as long as they want to keep running it on Christmas Day I’m gonna keep doing it on Christmas Day and hopefully get better and better and better.’

Pictures of Caroline Flack’s grisly sheets following an alleged row with boyfriend Lewis Burton showed ‘mostly her blood’.

A photo emerged on New Year’s Eve, showing the Love Island star’s bedroom in disarray and blood-spattered sheets, thought to be taken in the aftermath of their ‘argument’ – in which it was alleged she hit him over the head with a lamp.

However, after Lewis insisted the blood wasn’t his, it has now been claimed that it belongs to Caroline, following an injury the 40-year-old obtained in the incident.

Discussing the photo in question, an insider stated: ‘There is heaps of blood, but it’s not all from Lewis.

‘Most of it was from Caroline’s injury after she smashed a glass and she was bleeding quite a lot from that.’

‘Things got very out of hand and no one is denying that,’ they added to the Sun. ‘But Lewis was not the only one who was bleeding so it’s important to keep that in mind.’

Lewis previously took to Instagram, attempting to set the record straight after reports suggested it was his blood in the gruesome photo.

Sharing the snap, he fumed: ‘B******t this blood isn’t mine and I didn’t get hit over the head with a lamp, can everyone stop now.

‘I love this girl more than anything no one knows what’s going on or what’s happened.

‘She’s f***ing harmless and the most amazing person I have ever met.’

The ITV2 host – who has been replaced by Laura Whitmore for the upcoming series of Love Island – needed hospital treatment after she ‘cut herself on broken glass’ during the altercation.

Caroline pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault by beating during an appearance at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court last week.

Prosecutors revealed details of a 999 call where Lewis allegedly claimed he had been struck with a lamp while sleeping.

The tennis ace is also said to have told the 999 operators: ‘She tried to kill me, mate.’

However, the court heard that Lewis is not supporting the prosecution, with Paul Morris defending, saying: ‘He is not the victim, as he would say, he was a witness.

‘He would not suggest that the injuries are significant in the way the prosecution submit.’

Denying the claims, Lewis wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s been heartbreaking I can’t see my girlfriend over Christmas. What I witnessed today was horrible. She did not hit me with a lamp.

‘Arguments do happen every day in every relationship. Gutted I am not allowed to protect her right now.’

As part of her bail conditions, Caroline has been ordered not to see her boyfriend, and has headed to LA for the festive period.

It’s been 18 years since Emma went down for her nap in Friends, and Noelle Sheldon – who starred as the baby alongside her twin sister Cali – assured she has finally woken up.

In The One With The Cake, the gang reluctantly celebrate Emma’s first birthday causing Monica (Courteney Cox) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) to miss their vacation, even though the birthday girl basically slept through the whole thing.

And Chandler didn’t hesitate letting Emma have it when Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Ross (David Schwimmer) made their pals film a special 18th birthday message for their first daughter – which is coming up in May this year. WE KNOW. Although, we’d bank on Rachel and Ross forgetting altogether.

BBC One got 2020 off to a bloody good start on New Year’s Day with the first episode of its new adaptation of Dracula.

The series stars Danish actor Claes Bang as the titular vampire, and kicked off with a blood-soaked episode which included some pretty graphic scenes, including that naked bloodbath as Dracula took on a convent full of nuns.

And there were surprises and twists also as Drac’s unfortunate houseguest Jonathan Harker (John Heffernan) recalled his stay with the count to Sister Agatha (Dolly Wells) and another nun who was later revealed as his fiancee Mina (Morfydd Clark).

It all ended on a whopper of a cliffhanger, meaning we can’t wait for more – but just how many episodes are left and when is the next one on?

Vikings star Alicia Agneson has finally made her return to the show, however this time she’s back as Prince Oleg’s wife.

The star was originally cast as Freydis, who seduced Ivar The Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) in season five, where she pretended to be pregnant with his child.

However, when the war broke out between the king and his brothers, the new mum turned her back on her husband and helped Bjorn Ironside (Alexander Ludwig) take the throne.

Ivar caught wind of her plan and ended up savagely murdering his love by strangling her to death.

But that didn’t mean we’d seen the last of the actress, who has now returned to the historical saga, just this time around she is Prince Oleg’s (Danila Kozlovsky) bride.

That’s right, the 23-year-old is now the new character, Princess Katya, and has sent chills down Ivar’s spine.

Walking into his chambers, the Oleg announces his bride to his guests: ‘I want to introduce you to my intended bride, this is Princess Katya.’

Ivar turns his head to see the newcomer and looks pretty perplexed – as though he’d just seen a ghost enter the room.

‘My dear Katya, may I introduce you to my cousin lord, Prince Igor,’ Oleg says as Igor (Oran Glynn O’Donovan) gets up to meet her.

‘And this is the Viking king I told you about,’ he continues: ‘This is Ivar, the famous Ivar The Boneless.’

Lost for words, the Son of Ragnar manages to splutter up: ‘Princess.’

Not much is known about the new (or should we say old) face of the History Channel hit, however, Alicia did tease what’s to come in a recent Instagram Q&A.

Here she smirked: ‘I can’t really tell, but you will be seeing her pretty much throughout the whole of season six.’

Sounds as though we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the upcoming episodes, and we cannot wait.

Nick Gordon, the former partner of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of singer Whitney Houston, has died at age 30, his lawyer has reported.

Nick’s death comes five years after Bobbi Kristina passed away in 2015 and eight years after his ex-partner’s mother, the legendary singer Whitney Houston, died aged 48 on 11 February 2012.

‘Despite all of the incredible challenges Nick faced over the last few years I can honestly say that he worked hard to hold his head up and stay sober and that he genuinely wanted a happy healthy life with his family more than anything else,’ Gordon’s attorney Joe S. Habachy said in a statement.

What happened between Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon and Whitney Houston?

Nick Gordon was an orphan who was looked after by Whitney Houston from the age of 12.

Although the star never officially adopted Nick or included him in her will, he was raised by Whitney after the singer divorced Bobby Brown in 2007.

Nick and Bobbi Kristina Brown were raised together but were not siblings.

It wasn’t until after Whitney death’s that Nick and the I Will Always Love You hitmaker’s daughter Bobbi Kristina went public with their romance.

Whitney died in 2012 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub. The coroner ruled that both heart disease and cocaine were contributing factors in her death.

Sadly, Bobbi Kristina passed away three years later after being found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015.

Bobbi, who was 22 at the time, fell into a coma and passed away six months later.

Although investigators with the medical examiner’s office were unable to determine exactly how the young woman died, an autopsy conducted after she was found unresponsive revealed she had morphine, cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs in her system.

It was not determined if Bobbi Kristina killed herself or if someone else was involved in her death, but Nick was found liable in her death after her family blamed him and accused him in a public lawsuit of giving her a ‘toxic cocktail’ before placing her face down in water.

Nick was not charged but did have to pay $36 millionn (£27.3m) to Bobbi Kristina’s estate after being found responsible in a wrongful death lawsuit.

Nick’s lawyer has not confirmed his cause of death or his whereabouts when he passed away.

However, it is suspected he died from a drug overdose on New Year’s Day. It is believed that the 30-year-old had a series of heart attacks after he was rushed into intensive care in Florida on Wednesday 1 January 2020.

Love Island’s Tommy Fury rang in the New Year in the most Tommy Fury way possible – by downing shots and getting on the karaoke.

An embarrassed Molly-Mae Hague shared a video from their idyllic Maldives getaway, showing the moment the 20-year-old got on the mic in front of an empty bar.

Unfortunately, he didn’t bless us all with another rendition of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb, but instead belted out an Elvis Presley number.

Hannah Montana would not be impressed.

And the boxer wasn’t quite done there, opting for a rendition of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car as his girlfriend giggled at the sight.

A total bop, so we don’t really blame him.

While it doesn’t look like Molly joined her beau on stage at any point, the 20-year-old did give us all a glimpse at their selection of shots, telling fans: ‘This can’t end well’.

The Love Island runners-up are currently holidaying in the Maldives, making us all insanely jealous with their Instagram antics.

But it hasn’t been all fun and games for the social media influencer, who managed to ‘burn her skin off’ during some intense watersport action.

Showing off a nasty looking burn on her arm, Molly told her followers: ‘Most traumatic thing I’ve ever done but probably the funniest moment of my life too.

‘Burnt all the skin off both elbows holding onto a watersports doughnut for dear life.’

The couple first met in the Love Island villa last summer and, despite not winning the show, they have been inseparable ever since.

And Molly previously admitted she’s hoping to come back from their romantic holiday with a ring on her finger.

‘The thing is I wouldn’t be surprised if he did pop the question when we’re in the Maldives over New Year,’ she told MailOnline.

‘I don’t waste my time, I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with someone thinking, “this is only short term”.

‘We’re going to be together forever. I’m looking forward to having a rock on my finger!’

Nicolas Cage never fails to surprise, and his New Year’s Eve plans were certainly not what you’d have expected from the Hollywood star – he rang in 2020 in a small pub in Somerset.

As well as happily posing for photos behind the bar, Nicolas also splashed out on a round of drinks for all the punters – because, duh, he’s a total legend.

Reddit user Koink posted a photo of Nick in the pub, captioned: ‘Nicolas Cage spent NYE in my small, local pub, in Somerset, UK. He bought everyone a drink.’

He added: ‘Incidentally, he was a total legend, cool dude and is now a member.’

The user behind the original post hinted that the pub in question might be The Crown At Wells, after another Somerset native asked which one it was.

Koink replied: ‘Here’s a clue: Hot Fuzz’, as the film also used The Crown At Wells for one of their locations.

Nicolas’s low-key New Year celebration seemed to fly under the radar until the picture emerged, though the actor does own a home in the area.

He told Somerset Life: ‘I am a self-confessed Anglophile. I love everything about England; the history, the people, the countryside, the culture – you name it I love it.

‘I love seeing places like Buckingham Palace and all those other fantastic buildings which are steeped in history and culture. I love the whole concept of the Royal Family.

‘As an American you want to see all those things when you come to Britain but I wanted more than that, I wanted to live among all these great treasures. I wanted to be a part of it so I looked for somewhere to call home here.

‘When I looked at Somerset I just fell in love with the county. It has so much to offer; great countryside, great towns, great people and, of course, it has Glastonbury too.’
