Line Of Duty is back filming in Belfast and it looks as though the gang have a lot to be dealing with during an intense shoot between Adrian Dunbar and Martin Compston.
The pair were seen on the streets of Northern Ireland filming a scene as Ted Hastings and DS Steve Arnott, in which neither can look at the other as they stand outside police headquarters.
In a telling moment, Ted is seen wearing his wedding ring once again, despite his rocky relationship with wide Roisin, who was almost killed during season five.
Has he been able to win his wife back around and moved her back home?
The intensely loved police drama is set for a return later this year as they begin filming the sixth series of the show, following the lives of AC-12 and the loved ones of the team members.
More than anything, fans are getting desperate to know the identity of H, and the gang know this – unable to resist a cheeky jab at fans to keep them hanging.
Most recently, Vicky McClure was seen in a stand-off photo with Martin Compston, guns drawn as they stand over the ‘dead body’ of Adrian.
But then he’s lying there with a massive H… so you’re know they’re just playing with us.
The identity of the criminal mastermind H has been kept hidden from public eye since the beginning of season one, and try as fans might, they’ve never been able to crack the case.
Season five gave us the biggest nudge yet with the reveal that there are multiple criminals who function as H, and as a result fans are now even more stumped.
Also joining the cast of the upcoming series is Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald).
BBC described Davidson as an ‘enigmatic senior investigating officer on an unsolved murder case’ who will be investigated by AC-12, according to a first look.
What could the newbie be hiding and what are we expecting to see of her? Is she a crooked cop or is she being set up?
And do we know H, or have they managed to avoid any suspicion for all these years?
So many questions, such little information… Bring it on, season six.
Line Of Duty returns later this year on BBC One, and is available to catch-up on Britbox, BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
