Love Island ended earlier this month, as Paige Turley and Finley Tapp won the show – as well as that £50,000 prize.

But unfortunately, that may be the last we see of the couple on our screens, as the official reunion show is reportedly not taking place this year.

According to the Sun, producers aren’t planning on blessing us with the spin-off episode – usually an Aftersun special – for the winter Love Island gang.

Despite the finalists only recently jetting home from South Africa this week, the publication states that production staff are already planning filming for the summer series.

And we’re already excited for more of Iain Stirling’s voiceovers.

ITV recently confirmed that the next season will be on our screens in June, with an advert calling on singletons and unlucky-in-love wannabe stars to apply.

‘How do you fancy finding love in the sun?’ it read. ‘We’re now on the lookout for lively singles from across the country to take part.

‘ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of love!

‘The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

And fans have begged for Luke Mabbott’s brother Liam to be the first one in the Majorcan villa, after the Justin Bieber lookalike shared a selfie with his sibling upon his return.

But their plans hit a slight snag as Liam Mabbott appears to be happily coupled up, and also has an adorable baby boy.

Justin Bieber seemed to be finding it a bit tricky to get to grips with his outfit while filming his new music video.

The singer was spotted out in Miami filming scenes for what is believed to be a Cuban-inspired video.

During a break from shooting, Biebs met up with a friend to play hockey, and seemed to have shifted…something…out of place during all the action.

The 25-year-old was wearing one of his usual eye-catching outfits – a white, wide-brimmed hat with a light blue vest and hot pink baggy trousers.

Maybe the trousers were a bit too much on the baggy side, as he kept tugging at the crotch to try and get them to sit properly (we hope).

He was also pictured getting in on the game with his mates, brandishing a hockey stick as he tried to strike a tennis ball.

The Yummy singer also stopped for lunch and was spotted tucking into something from a paper plate while stood next to a white truck.

Justin has a lot to be happy about recently, as he has beaten the chart record of legendary rocker Elvis Presley.

He has now achieved seven number one albums with his recent release of his album Changes, he first album in five years. He’s the youngest solo artist to ever do this.

Elvis Presley was a year older, at 26, when he celebrated his seventh number one album with Blue Hawaii in 1961.

The record has also shot to number in the UK.

Bieber marked the occasion by posted the album artwork on his Instagram a few days ago with a simple caption reading: ‘Thank you’.

Alright, so we knew Jordan Peele was the king of freaking us out – he is the man behind Get Out and Us, after all – but now he’s back with the Candyman trailer and frankly, we’re sleeping with the lights on.

The trailer for the highly anticipated contemporary incarnation (or ‘spiritual successor’) of the 1992 cult classic landed online today and safe to say it’s got us all by the fears.

There are no illusions about the violence of the titular villain as from the off, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who plays an artist named Anthony McCoy, explains: ‘The urban legend is, if you say his name five times while looking in the mirror, he appears in the reflection and it kills you.’

Of course to illustrate this, a bunch of school girls then try their luck…spoiler alert, their college bathroom is then turned into a blood bath with bees.

Oh the bees.

Anyway, it focuses on Anthony who holds an exhibition with a bunch of mirrors to ‘invite’ people to try the folktale.

Which is totally, like, the best idea ever.

However, somehow Anthony managed to bring back the iconic horror villain (originally played by Tony Todd), honey and hook all together again.

When will people learn?

It all gets super cute when a voice, perhaps the Candyman?, ominously purrs: ‘I am the writing on the wall, the sweet smell of blood. Be my victim.’

No thanks.

Still, we don’t know what’s more terrifying – the fact Candyman is back, or that Peele has managed to turn Destiny’s Child’s hit Say My Name into a demented horror theme song?

And the classic Peele strings? Oh you better believe they are in the soundtrack a plenty.

Produced by Peele, Candyman is directed by Nia DeCosta (Little Woods) and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Us, Aquaman) and Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk).

So a pretty solid line-up there.

Candyman is in cinemas 12 June.

Old favourite
So after the shock result that Pikachu is not the most popular pokémon or even close to it, I have to ask what is? Greninja, I guess. But I never liked that one and would not even have remembered it if not for being Smash Bros. My favourite is probably Slowpoke. I know that’s a Gen I choice, so some may think it’s just nostalgia, but I just have to look at one of the things and I start laughing.

There’s a friend of mine that I regularly call Slowpoke (yes, I know it was a word beforehand) and I think that probably adds to it as well. Also I feel a cuddly toy of it would probably work great as a pillow. I don’t have one, but I bet they exist.

I will say that a lot of the designs from Sword and Shield are good as well and I particularly like Sirfetch’d, Corviknight, Toxtricity, Dragapult, and Polteageist. After all these years it’s great that the games are still coming out with great designs and ideas. I know Sword and Shield had some problems, and I don’t know why the graphics are so bad, but I still really enjoyed it. It’s a great comfort game and perfect for short bursts on the train.

It’s probably too specific for a Hot Topic but I’m curious to know what other people’s favourites are too, and if they’re from older or newer games.

Inscrutable art
I was going to write in with my informed and logical suggestion for what that Rockstar artwork is all about, but… I really don’t know. I suppose the best guess is that it’s just a bit of random art because someone at Rockstar likes sexy robots. But if it is supposed to be some kind of follow-up to Vice City I’d love that. Would they do that with GTA Online still brining in so much money? I mean GTA 5 is still in the top 10 after all these years, so nobody’s going to want to shoot that golden goose.

If it’s something new though I don’t see what you could guess at from the art. I mean I’d love if it was a sci-fi game that had an 80s view of the future, sort of a brighter, cleaner, more neon version of cyberpunk. That’d be awesome but I’m not sure I can imagine Rockstar really doing that.

I’m there for whatever it is (assuming it’s not another table tennis game) but I don’t feel I’ve learnt anything from this week’s revelations. Maybe we’ll learn something when the new consoles are revealed?

Full perspective
It shows how young gaming is really but developers dying of old age is not really something we’ve had to deal with before. I know there’s been some, like the maker of The Lords of Midnight, but most of the creators we’ve lost so far have been through illness or accidents rather than old age. But what happens when Shigeru Miyamoto retires or dies? Or Warren Spector or Yu Suzuki? They’re all getting on in age and I am going to be distraught at finding out the bad news.

Even Hideo Kojima is no spring chicken. He’s 56 I found out recently and starting to look like it all of a sudden. Not that I’m worried that there aren’t plenty of talented individuals to take up their steed but most developers of that age basically helped to invent the games industry – they saw it from its very beginnings to where it is now and that offers a perspective that younger developers aren’t going to have.

Out on your own
Wow, Platinum are really spending that money they got from China, eh? Good on them I say. Like the other reader said, I’ve liked almost all their stuff and love that they’re always making something new. I have to say I’d much rather they stuck with single-player games rather than games as a service, but they’ve earned the benefit of the doubt from me.

I do worry what happens if none of these games are a success though. Everyone jokes about Platinum games never selling but it seems to me the fact that they were working for hire a lot of the time is probably what saved them from going under.

Owning everything is good and all but it also means owning the failures and they may end up regretting turning down some of those other investors.

Thanks for the advice regarding forming a team in Hunt: Showdown to overcome the extreme difficulty levels. Only problem is none of my friends are gamers.

Symbiotic relationship
Whilst I agree that the quality of games is more important than what technology they are being played on, the two things are inseparably intertwined.

The whole reason they are making new consoles is to make for newer, better, more immersive experiences.

Better visuals and performance play a huge part in creating immersive experiences. If this wasn’t the case, we would all be still playing on an Atari VCS console or something.

Better visuals create a more immersive world that we can move around within, with more detailed characters, better, more realistic lighting, and physics etc. Better performance also enhances fluidity of the images in terms of frame rates, which in turn is immersive as our eyes see something more akin to real-world we are familiar with, and more importantly, the controls are more responsive and fluid, making the game better to play.

More and faster RAM will allow for higher resolution images and more detailed textures, again enhancing image quality and making the world feel more immersive and believable.

Faster hard drives will allow for information to be streamed quicker, making for less loading times, meaning potentially players can explore open worlds with less interruptions to their exploration.

Better CPU means better draw calls from GPU, and in turn more detailed animation, higher frame rates, more non-player characters, more detailed physics, and artificial intelligence, which in turn are all part of the immersive experiences developers create.

It won’t make games fun obviously, that’s not something that exists within technical specifications, but these technical aspects are fundamental to creating immersive experiences.

You cite Nintendo as a bastion of not obsessing with better technology, but that only came later with Wii, Wii U, and to some extent the Switch.

Prior to that they pushed technical boundaries. They decided to opt out of the tech race and concentrate on selling their first party games on their hardware, but even with the Switch, it was relatively cutting edge tech for a mobile device. And they have needed this to get game developers back on board after Wii U bombed.

They concentrate on hardware they want to push their vision of games, but even they realised that they couldn’t get developers on board with making games if their hardware couldn’t support the titles being developed.

I just looked on Amazon recently for 3DS games, as I have had a 3DS quite a long time now and I have played a lot of games for it and I thought I would have a look to see if there was anything that I really wanted to play that I hadn’t played. So I typed in ‘3DS games’ and on the first page I got this, which is obviously pirate software.

So I am going to contact Amazon customer support to let them know. This is not the only type of item
listed as there are others too in the recommendations from Amazon Marketplace sellers.

Counting the flops
A few letters in the Inbox recently have made the assertion that gamers who are into discussing the hardware side of gaming are missing the point of gaming. I love the hardware side and the implications it has for the games running on it, but it in no way impairs my ability to enjoy and appreciate games.

I’m mainly into single-player games but love that online gaming allows me to have regular play sessions with my nephew who lives 300 miles away. Really enjoy skill-based games, ones that have a move-set to learn and hone. I surprised myself last year through Sony’s My PlayStation Life thing to find I had 1,366 hours logged (been playing it for four years) in Rayman Legends, mainly playing the challenges. I’m currently first on the PlayStation 4 in the weekly extreme challenge.

Fanboyism has meant there’s been plenty of inane arguments in gaming history about the capability of one machine over another but that sort of misguided zealousness doesn’t reside on GC’s pages. The letter the other day saying the Switch had proved that hardware doesn’t matter failed to point out the Switch can only deliver on its USP, and deliver console level gaming on the go this gen, when the hardware is small enough, energy efficient enough, cost efficient and powerful enough to do so. Last gen the Switch wasn’t possible because the hardware either wasn’t there or was too expensive.

That’s misconstruing his point a bit, as I think he meant it’s not how many flops you got but what you do with them that’s important. He’s right but I don’t think many who are into the hardware side on GC would argue that point.

Zelda: Breath Of The Wild is currently my game of this generation, I bought a second-hand Wii U when it released to play it, but I still can’t wait to pour over the ins and outs of the next gen hardware. Call me boring if you wish but don’t tell me I’m missing the point of gaming because I enjoy doing that.

Lady Gaga bestowed her Little Monsters with a brand new song – and futuristic video – and she’s opened up on what Stupid Love means to her.

Stupid Love is Gaga’s first solo single release since 2016’s Joanne and the 2018 Star Is Born soundtrack, and she was buzzing for fans to finally hear the track.

She told Kiss FM: ‘Stupid Love is a really special song to me. I worked on it with a few different people, Bloodpop and Tchami Being some of them as well as [producer] Max Martin.’

‘I wrote this song with a lot of love in my heart and a lot of belief that the world operates because of kindness and love.

‘I think that for some of us, it’s easier to love and for others it’s harder to love and the more vulnerable we are, the more brave we are to open ourselves up, to really, really love each other.

‘I think that love heals the world, I think it keeps us together. It’s how we survive as a planet and I wanted to make a song that really celebrated love and reminded us all how important it is.’

Martin is best known for his work with Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, this is his first collaboration with Gaga.

Gaga had confirmed the single and video would be released on 28 February, after the track ended up leaking online in January.

While many fans swore to wait until the official release before listening to the single, the ones that did give it an early spin confirmed that her new song is an absolute bop.

The single is thought to be the first track from a rumoured upcoming album, with a source telling The Sun: ‘Gaga has been working hard in the studio for the last year and is really excited about what she’s got.

‘She is sticking to what she is good at and the first single is very pop. She knows she can’t spend too long away from the industry so wants to come back now while there’s still so much love for her.’

She’s back and she’s better than ever, by the sounds of Stupid Love.

Love Island star Amber Gill is donating all of her profits from Miss Pap to the mental health charity, Mind.

The 22-year-old made the announcement just two weeks after the dating show’s host Caroline Flack died by suicide.

Taking to her Instagram story, the fashionista confirmed the news where she explained her reasoning behind the decision.

She said to her followers: ‘My latest Miss Pap edit is out now, there are cute blazers and cute dresses, there’s a load of cute stuff so go and shop it.

‘But more importantly, go and shop it because at the moment myself and Miss Pap are donating 100 per cent of the retail price to the charity Mind which is very close to my heart at the minute.’

She continued: ‘So please go and shop if you’re going to, then shop now – we are doing that until the April 1. So go and get your must haves.’

The star also tweeted the news, adding: ‘Guys my @misspap Must Haves edit is live and ready to shop AND Myself & @misspap are donating 100% of retail price on selected lines to Mind charity which is really close to my heart shop shop shop.’

The news comes after Caroline took her own life at the age of 40 just weeks before she was supposed to be appearing in court.

At the time, her family released a statement which read: ‘We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.

‘We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.’

Tributes have since poured in, with celebrities sharing their final messages set to the star, however, Caroline’s close friend Dawn O’Porter has asked for the outpour to stop.

On Twitter, she wrote: ‘Can we all just agree that posting Caroline’s personal texts is a massive betrayal?

‘Please consider that if for some reason you are thinking of doing it. She’d absolutely hate it.’

Many agreed with Dawn, with writer Matt Haig posting: ‘Should be a given. But some people clearly have no moral compass.’

Another reply read: ‘It’s very sad. It’s like a competition over who was closer to her, when those that are actually closest to someone, just wouldn’t do that.’

Olly Murs has set up his own TV production company, putting him in direct competition with his former X Factor mentor Simon Cowell.

The Voice coach managed to catapult to stardom under Cowell’s wing on The X Factor, leading to four number one albums and a string of well-known hits including Heart Skips A Beat and Dance With Me Tonight.

But now it seems the Kiss Me hitmaker is stepping out from his former boss’s shadow as it’s been announced he’s setting up his own TV production company.

According to The Sun, Wrapped Up TV productions was set up a few days ago after being a year in the planning.

With the new firm, Olly is looking to develop a slate of new projects for the small screen.

A source told the paper: ‘Olly had the idea for a sports and entertainment show a while back, but since then things have picked up momentum and now he’s got big players involved.

‘The likelihood is Olly will appear on screen in the ideas they are floating around, but he’ll also have a role in running the business.’

Olly has also recently hit headlines thanks to his weight loss.

The singer showed a side-by-side of two photos, which were taken just less than two months apart.

In one, he can be seen pushing his stomach out, while in the other, he’s looking pretty ripped as he grins at the camera.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli doesn’t want the competition to introduce same-sex couples just to make headlines.

This year’s Dancing On Ice saw Steps star Ian ‘H’ Watkins flying around the rink with his professional partner Matt Evers.

And while the coupling did go down a treat with viewers at home, Bruno is aware that the partnership has to be right in order for the routines to work.

When chatting with The Sun, the choreographer said: ‘We would have to be very careful because we wouldn’t want to do it just to get headlines.

‘It has to be the right person and couple for it to work. The search needs to start and it’s something that is possible.’

He added: ‘But it shouldn’t be headline chasing.’

While nothing is set in stone for the BBC show’s return, dancer Katya Jones has revealed she wants to see ladies run the ballroom this year.

Speaking to Sunday Mirror, she said: ‘I would love to dance with a woman on the show.

‘I think creatively it would be really ­interesting, and I love coming up with new ideas for stuff. So on that side I think it would be quite interesting.’

Rob Rinder – aka Judge Rinder – has also claimed to have been asked back for the Christmas Special, only this time to dance with a male partner.

‘I was offered next year’s Christmas special with a same-sex dancer,’ he told OK! Magazine: ‘I’d do anything. I’ve danced on stage with Anton Du Beke for a Grenfell Tower benefit.’

Strictly has touched upon performing same-sex routines in the past, even though a couple are yet to compete within the show format.

In 2018, a pro group routine to Believer by Imagine Dragons, saw the professionals switch from male-female couples to same sex partners mid-routine, earning high praise from fans.

Thousands also flocked to share their warmth at seeing Johannes Radebe, and Graziano di Prima perform as a couple during Emeli Sande’s performance on the series.

While the BBC did receive nearly 200 complaints, the overwhelming majority of viewers called the moment a move in the right direction.

BTS have been forced to cancel a series of tour dates in South Korea due to the spread of coronavirus.

The boys were set to begin their Map Of The Soul tour in April in Seoul, but Big Hit Entertainment has confirmed that the concerts on 11, 12, 18 and 19 April at Olympic Stadium will no longer go ahead.

Over 2,000 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in South Korea, with the majority diagnosed in the city of Daegu, which is about 148 miles away from Seoul.

The agency said: ‘Plans for Map of the Soul Tour — Seoul included the involvement of a number of global production companies and a large group of expert international crew, with over 200,000 concertgoers expected to attend.

‘However, the current global coronavirus (COVID-19) has made it impossible at this time to predict the scale of the outbreak during the dates of the concert in April, alongside increasing uncertainty about the cross-border movement of concert staff and equipment.

‘While we hope that the situation will improve, we must take into consideration the health and safety of hundreds of thousands of guests, as well as our artists and the dire impact a last-minute cancellation may have on guests from overseas, production companies and staff. We have thus determined that with approximately one month left before the Seoul concert is set to begin, it is unavoidable that the concert must be cancelled without further delay.’

Big Hit added: ‘Please understand that this decision was made after extensive and careful consideration in order to cooperate with the government’s measures on restricting public events as well as municipal advisories on the use of cultural and sports facilities.’

The ON singers are set to play London’s Twickenham Stadium on 3 and 4 July.

BTS had already been forced to replace their planned press conference for the release of their album Map Of The Soul: Persona with a live stream without press, while their music show performances in support of the album were said to be being filmed without audiences.

The Korean band aren’t the only artists whose tours are being affected by coronavirus.

Green Day have also confirmed they have been forced to postpone their scheduled tour of Asia, which was due to begin next month.

The band said: ‘We have unfortunately made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming shows in Asia due to the health + travel concerns with coronavirus.

‘We know if sucks, as we were looking forward to seeing you all, but hold on to your tickets we’ll be announcing the new dates very soon.’

The American Idiot stars had been set to play Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.

Lewis Capaldi doesn’t seem too fussed about his ex-girlfriend Paige Turley winning Love Island with her new man Finn Tapp, as he appears to be enjoying some dates of his own.

The Someone You Loved hitmaker has reportedly enjoyed a string of dates with Scottish student Catherine Halliday.

The pair are said to have been enjoying time together in West Lothian (Lewis’ hometown), with them shunning the glitz and glam of celeb life to instead enjoy a meal at Italian chain restaurant Prezzo this week.

An onlooker said: ‘They were being very flirty and seemed to be having fun — both laughing and joking a lot, touching hands and being tactile.

‘You’d never know he was one of the biggest stars in the country and it’s a very low key place to go and eat but he obviously doesn’t go in for all the fancy celebrity stuff.’

They added to The Sun: ‘They were holding hands as they left and went for the car, and Lewis posed for a couple of photos with fans and then climbed into a Fiesta and drove off.’

The 23-year-old singer, who recently won big at the Brit Awards, has often joked about being unlucky in love – however, it seems his luck might be about to change.

Meanwhile, he recently threw a bit of shade at his ex-girlfriend Paige, who has just won the first series of winter Love Island with her boyfriend Finn.

Taking to the stage at the Brits, the Scotsman shut down some pesky rumours about his song Someone You Loved. 

‘Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend who you can now see every night on Love Island,’ he said. ‘But it is actually about my grandmother who sadly, sadly passed away a few years ago.’

He went on to add: ‘And I hope to God that ITV don’t contact her to be a on a reality dating TV show.’

And, although he previously joked about wanting in on her prize money, Paige has revealed she won’t be able to share any of her winnings with him.

‘That’s just Lewis, it comes as no surprise he said that,’ the 22-year-old said. ‘But I can’t give him any money because once I pay off my debts there’ll be nothing left.’

Reasonable enough!

The Friends cast has only reunited twice since the show ended back in 2004.

Courteney Cox, who plays Monica Geller in the beloved sitcom, recently revealed the news – and we couldn’t be any more disappointed.

When chatting with Kevin Nealon on his YouTube series Hiking with Kevin, the 55-year-old reassured fans that she still best buds with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, despite them not actually being in the same room all that often.

‘It took forever, I don’t know how many years, maybe 15 years. We finally all got together and had dinner,’ she said on the popular streaming platform.

‘When we get together, which is never, it just doesn’t happen very often, like twice since we ended the show, it’s just the most fun. We laugh so hard.’

However, it seems she’ll be making that number up to three, as the actors have confirmed an unscripted reunion on the network, HBO Max.

Addressing the announcement, the mother-of-one said: ‘So the exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it’s going to be on HBO Max, and I’m so excited.

‘We’re going to have the best time. It’s going to be great. But we really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had.’

Beaming down the lens, she told viewers: ‘It’s gonna be fantastic.’

The news of their gathering broke when the cast shared the same picture on Instagram alongside the caption: ‘It’s happening…’

As well as the infamous six friends returning, it will be filmed on the original Friends soundstage, Stage 24 on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, California, where the series originally took place.

Kevin Reilly, chief content officer art HBO Max said in a statement: ‘Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library.

‘I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation.

‘It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.’

Friends is now available to stream on Netflix.

Malcolm In The Middle is now a married man.

Frankie Muniz has tied the knot with his girlfriend Paige Price, four years to the day they first met.

Adorable.

The 34-year-old confirmed to People that he and Paige – who got engaged in November 2018 – got married on 21 February in Arizona, with the actor saying ‘every single moment’ of the day was perfect.

Frankie said: ‘From the moment of waking up together and jumping on the bed hyping each other up, to helping our wedding planner with setting things up at the venue, all the way to walking down the aisle with my best friend hand in hand with our closest friends and family in attendance. Everything was just so us.

‘I always thought it was such a cliché for people to claim their wedding day as the best day of their life, like maybe it was something they had to say. No, my wedding day was literally the best day of my life!’

The star has yet to post evidence of the wedding on Instagram, but in a post from 24 February at an ice hockey match, he wrote: ‘Thank you so much @arizonacoyotes for hosting me and my family. It was the perfect way to cap off the best weekend of my life!’

Frankie and Paige have been together for four years, with Muniz proposing over Thanksgiving 2018 at the Pinal Fairgrounds Lantern Fest in Casa Grande, Arizona.

The Big Fat Liar star wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘So thankful this Thanksgiving for my FIANCEE! Yep, @pogprice said yes! She makes my life instantly better! We’re eating our Thanksgiving dinner at Boston Market, but I wouldn’t want it any other way, as long as i have her by my side! #sheismyrock.’

Frankie had previously been engaged twice – to Jamie Grady in 2005, and to Elycia Marie Turnbow in 2011 – while he was linked to Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff in the past.

The actor is best known for his role as Malcolm in the Emmy Award winning series Malcolm In The Middle, as well as films including Agent Cody Banks.

Recently, he competed on Dancing With The Stars, and lent his voice to the Harley Quinn animated series.

YouTuber James Charles has said he was ‘threatened’ by an Uber driver, with the employee swearing at him over the phone.

The beauty guru, who boasts a following of more than 16 million, took to social media to report the alleged incident.

He wrote: ‘@Uber @Uber_Support hi! one of your drivers in orlando just called my employee & I dumba**es, b***hes, & threatened to hit us. please contact me as soon as possible.’

James is currently in Orlando for YouTube convention Playlist Live, alongside the likes of Tana Mongeau, Ricky Dillon, and Charli D’Amelio.

A spokesperson for Uber told PEOPLE they are ‘looking into the matter and that the company has a clear non-discrimination policy.’

The 20-year-old also recently took to social media to slam trolls who he said are trying to ‘ruin his life.’

Opening up on Twitter, he wrote: ‘I get that a lot of people don’t like me. I’ve learned to accept & understand it – but the extent that some people on this app are willing to go in attempt to ruin my life is truly sad.

‘I hope one day people find a way to feel validation without having to bash others for likes.’

With a fan pointing out that they often want to follow in PewDiePie’s footsteps and delete Twitter completely, James said: ‘I think about it all the time and have tried but it’s such a huge part of my business and I keep updated on current events with twitter :/.’

And he hasn’t been afraid to shut down trolls in the past, one particularly brutal time being when someone tried to shame him after finding his merch in a thrift shop.

‘Ooh child, the ghetto! The ghetto,’ they wrote next to a photo of one of his hoodies.

Not having any of it, James hit back: ‘People have been tagging me in this as if I’m supposed to be offended?

‘I already made my money so jokes on you, but more importantly why are you dragging goodwill? Maybe it didn’t fit, or they just weren’t a fan anymore?? Hopefully someone finds it and gets a great deal!’

New WWE Universal champion Goldberg already has his first feud – none other than Macaulay Culkin.

The Home Alone actor hasn’t held back after the 53-year-old Hall of Famer pinned “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a matter of minutes in the main event of Super ShowDown on Thursday, and fans around the world have voiced their disapproval over the result.

Macaulay made his feelings pretty clear as he responded to parody account WWE Creative Humour after the page joked the huge event was ‘all about building new stars like Brock Lesnar, @Goldberg & The Undertaker’ – and he’s ditching his own WrestleMania plans in protest.

The row comes just days after it was revealed Macaulay Culkin has landed a role in the upcoming 10th season of American Horror Story, with the star poking fun at the sudden spotlight.

Caroline Flack’s dog Ruby has settled into her new home after the presenter’s tragic death.

The French bulldog was taken in by Caroline’s close friend, Mollie Grosberg, after the TV star took her own life on February 15.

Mollie shared a snap of the pooch curled up on the couch in a grey jumper on Instagram, writing: ‘These two’.

Caroline, who shared smitten snaps with Ruby one day before she died, bought the dog with Andrew Brady and kept custody after their split in 2018.

Mollie – who shared a heartbreaking tribute in the days after Caroline’s death – has been giving updates on how Ruby is getting on since her friend’s death.

She recently shared a video of Ruby snoring away on the end of her bed, writing: ‘I never want this snoring to stop.’

In the days after Caroline’s tragic passing, Mollie said Ruby was bringing some comfort int her life.

‘Having Ruby is the only thing making us smile right now. Love you Ruby,’ she penned.

Mollie had gone rock-climbing with Caroline just days before her death and they spent Valentine’s Day together.

It later emerged that Caroline died shortly after another friend, Lou Teasdale, left her house.

Celebrity hairdresser Lou spent the night with Caroline as family and friends were worried for the TV star’s welfare.

However, the following morning, Caroline convinced Lou that she was ok, and she left to go to the shops at around 9.30am, with Flack’s body being discovered later that day.

Thousands of tributes have poured in for the former X Factor presenter since, with last week’s Love Island final being dedicated to the star.

Caroline had hosted the show up until this year, when she stepped down after being accused of assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Jane McDonald has quit Cruising With Jane McDonald, after more than four years sailing the high seas.

And we are bereft.

The 56-year-old confirmed the news in a statement, thanking Channel 5 for blessing her – and the rest of us – with some amazing memories.

‘It has been a privilege to call this a “job”,’ she said.

‘After so many years filming abroad I am looking forward to some much needed time in the UK and to focus on my music and tours and exciting new projects.

‘Thank you Channel 5 for some great trips and many fabulous memories.’

While Ben Frow, director of programming at Channel 5, added: ‘We’ve loved working with Jane and are proud to have had her as part of the family.

‘She helped us to win our first Bafta and her series have become solid staples of our Friday night schedules.

‘Thank you Jane. We are sorry to see you go but wish you every happiness for the future.’

As well as the cruise series, she will also no longer be fronting Holidaying with Jane McDonald.

The Loose Women star has spent four-and-a-half years living her best life around the world on our TV screens, and picked up a Bafta in 2018 for her troubles.

The series won the best feature award, and marked the corporation’s first ever win at the annual bash.

She is currently recording her final stint on the show.

Epic Games has said that analyst reports about Fortnite revenues are inaccurate, as the latest data claims that sales have dipped again.

In an unusual move, Epic Game has attacked sales data from analyst firm SuperData and insisted that the company’s suggestion that Fortnite is continuing to see falling revenues is ‘wildly inaccurate’.

SuperData is part of the well-respected Nielsen group and for months its data has shown a steady decline in Fortnite revenues, with a claim that it had fallen 43% before the release of Chapter 2.

Their most recent report claims that after the Chapter 2 launch revenues continued to decline and are now at their lowest level since November 2017.

Fortnite appears only at number seven in SuperData’s January 2020 console earnings chart, just above Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and beneath the likes of Madden NFL 20 and new release Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. It doesn’t make the top 10 for either PC or mobile.

But Epic Game has contacted website GamesIndustry.biz to insist that, ‘SuperData does not and has not ever had access to Epic’s Fortnite revenue data, and SuperData’s reports do not accurately reflect Fortnite’s performance’.

‘We are disappointed that SuperData has repeatedly published wildly inaccurate reports about Fortnite based on what we believe is questionable methodology’, added Epic Games.

‘While we do not and have not publicly shared revenue numbers for Fortnite, we will say that SuperData’s reports do not align with reality.’

For their part, SuperData has defended their figures and insisted that they use a ‘a proven methodology and validation process’ to come up with them.

The problem is that the video games industry almost never reveals sales information and it’s often impossible to know how successful games are through official channels.

This is especially true of digital-only and mobile titles, which don’t even have retail charts, which are made public, to give an indication of how they’re doing.

As a result, investors and other companies are forced to turn to firms such as SuperData, in order to give an estimate of how everything is doing. And up until this outburst from Epic Games there’s been no suggestion that they’re not at least roughly correct.

Gwyneth Paltrow has said her least favourite performance was in the 2001 movie Shallow Hal, calling it a ‘disaster’.

The Oscar-winning actress starred alongside Jack Black in the Farrelly Brothers comedy, which saw Black’s character, Hal, seeing people’s inner beauty reflected in their outward appearance.

And the role – which required Paltrow to wear a fat suit to portray an overweight woman – still grates on Gwyneth.

The 47-year-old appeared in a Netflix video with her assistant and best friend Kevin Keating, who she quizzed on how well he knew her.

When asked what her favourite performance was, Kevin correctly guessed that it was her duet with CeeLo Green at the 2011 Grammys.

And when asked what her least favourite performance is, Kevin said: ‘I would say it would be Shallow Hallow [sic].’

Gwyneth said: ‘Exactly’, with Kevin saying: ‘I’m not sure who told you to do that one, but it wasn’t me.

The Goop founder laughed: ‘That was before your time. See what happened? Disaster.’

In Shallow Hal, Gwyneth’s character Rosemary was seen as, well, Gwyneth Paltrow by Hal, but by everybody else, she was seen as the woman in the 25 pound fat suit which visually tripled her weight.

And Gwyneth really struggled with wearing the fat suit, telling W Magazine around the film’s release: ‘The first day I tried it on, I was in the Tribeca Grand and I walked through the lobby.

‘It was so sad; it was so disturbing. No one would make eye contact with me because I was obese.

‘I was wearing this black shirt with big snowmen on it. For some reason, the clothes they make for women that are overweight are horrible. I felt humiliated because people were really dismissive.’

Shallow Hal received mixed reviews, but the team behind the movie’s makeup effects denied that it was making fun of overweight people.

Tony Gardner, who designed the fat suit, told USA Today: ‘The filmmakers are not making fun of her weight, they are embracing her weight. Peter [Farrelly] calls it a valentine for overweight people.’

The same year as Shallow Hal, Gwyneth starred in the critically acclaimed The Royal Tenenbaums.
