The 12-year-old, who played Jack in the 2015 flick, sent love to his co-star by tweeting a sweet snap of him next to the Captain Marvel poster.
‘It is time! @BrieLarson #CaptainMarvel,’ he tweeted.
And if that wasn’t enough to leave us emotional, the actor wrote after seeing the film: ‘I just saw #CaptainMarvel‘s smile & so much more! Her humor, wit, brains, strength, power & heart!
‘Congratulations my friend @BrieLarson I am so proud of you! #SheIsMySuperhero.’
‘Love you coworker,’ the Captain Marvel star replied, before Jacob shared another adorable photo of the pair of them toasting with drinks.
Den of Geek’s Kayti Burt posted: ‘Cat people will love this movie,’ adding, ‘Carol’s hero moment was very cathartic/true to the female experience, imho … The MCU feels more complete now that Carol is in it.’
Captain Marvel, the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was also coined ‘retro and trippy’ by Fandango’s Erik Davis.
The managing editor commented: ‘#CaptainMarvel has a great ‘90s sci-fi vibe w/ a tone unlike any other Marvel movie, really.

It seems Miley still isn’t over Ariana’s song 7 Rings (same, girl) and wanted to share her appreciation today with a video of her on stage back in the day of the platinum blonde pixie cut with Ari’s fresh song playing over the top.

The Malibu singer wrote alongside the hilarious clip of her going wild onstage: ‘When you and your girls love Ari’s new single a little tooooooo much.’

Dancing On Ice’s James Jordan managed to land some perfect scores despite a ‘serious’ shoulder injury during the ITV show’s final.
James – who fell on his arm during rehearsals which resulted in a subluxed shoulder – still took to the ice during Sunday’s final episode without informing the judges of the pain he was in.
What a trooper.
Somehow, despite the incident from yesterday’s training session, he still gained two perfect 10s from both Jayne Torvill and Chris Dean after his first performance tonight.
However, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo commented that something was ‘missing’ and both gave the former Strictly professional dancer (a still-impressive) 9.5.

Host Holly Willoughby quickly announced: ‘Also I want to point out that you are here tonight with a very serious injury in your shoulder, aren’t you?’
Jason looked reluctant to answer but said: ‘I am. But I didn’t want to talk about that.’
‘I know but I wanted to talk about that because you’ve been such a trooper,’ Holly replied. ‘You’ve been amazing … even just by being here’.
After hearing that Ashley and Jason explained their scores.
Jason said: ‘Well, thank you for letting me know that because I think that’s what it was for me.’
‘9.5 is amazing but your spark wasn’t there,’ he added before saying: ‘Now, I understand you are nursing an injury.’
James insisted that he didn’t want to use his injury ‘as an excuse’.
Ashley agreed: ‘It was an incredible routing and you are an incredible performer, it was the finish, the look, the passion I normally see in your face there was just something in the way’.
However, 39 out of 40 is not bad at all and James managed to land 40 out of 40 after his second routine.

Norman Reedus gave us a pretty epic glimpse into his life with partner Diane Kruger this weekend and we’re feeling pretty blessed.
The Walking Dead actor and Diane welcomed their first baby together late last year and while they’ve kept mostly everything about the little sprog under wraps Norman shared a pretty epic photo to mark his love.
While we were all in the dark as to whether or not Diane was pregnant (back when she was), the actors evidently got the bump out every now and then as per Norman’s Instagram yesterday.
With a very cool Diane chilling on the hood of their black car, the German star’s growing baby bump was well and truly bursting out as she flashed a peace sign.
He posted a picture with his baby girl’s hand in his, while sending a message of love and gratitude to Diane for expanding his ‘happy family’.
Norman wrote: ‘A lot to be thankful for this year. ❤️ this one especially’.
The actor went on to share his love for his blended family, which includes ex-girlfriend Helena Christensen and their 19-year-old son Mingus.
He continued: ‘Love u Diane, Mingus and Helena. Happy family.’
Diane returned serve a few days later as she paid tribute to the epic year that 2018 was.
‘2018 has been a year of new beginnings…rewarding, if challenging journeys..but mostly, a year of love,’ she wrote alongside a photo of her with Norman. ‘I would like to thank all of my friends who have been there for me and us this year, who have lifted me up and made me smile.’
She added: ‘I am thankful for all the work opportunities I’ve had this year and the many people I’ve met along the way. Thank you to all of YOU, who have shared some of my life this year here on Instagram.

James Jordan has been crowned the winner of Dancing On Ice 2019, after he and partner Alexandra Schauman performed a stunning version of Jayne Torvill and Chris Dean’s Bolero.
Speaking after his win, the ballroom dancer said: ‘I can’t believe it. Oh my Gosh. I couldn’t have given any more.’
He hugged his partner Alexandra and watched as she was picked up by the rest of the Dancing On Ice gang.
Wes also gave his competitor a big hug to congratulate him, after the Love Island star landed in the second spot.

Jordan and Nelson both received standing ovations from the judges for their final routines.
The last round saw the contestants skating their interpretation of Bolero, the routine that won Olympic gold for Torvill and Dean in 1984.
The panel noted the ‘passion’ that Nelson expressed with partner Vanessa Bauer, and Dean told Jordan his was ‘simply one of the best Boleros we’ve had.’

Keith’s fans got Prodigy songs back into the charts (Picture: Rex Features)
Fans had tried to get Prodigy songs back into the charts following the death of singer Keith Flint last week and they’ve succeeded.
Tonight it was announced the songs Breathe and Firestarter, absolute bangers from the 90s, re-entered The Official Big Top 40 Chart this weekend.
Following a surge in streams and downloads over the past week, the classic track Firestarter, first released in 1996, reached number seven.
Released on their album The Fat Of The Land, it was the group’s first number-one on the UK Singles Chart, where it remained in the top spot for three weeks.
As it travelled around the ears of the world, it also reached number one in Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary and Norway.
Not to sit on the chart alone this week, the band’s song Breathe came in at number 31 today – having also graced the top of the charts when it was released in November 1996.
A poignant campaign, which started on Facebook, tried to get the tunes to number one, as it read: ‘Rest in peace to the fire starter. Let’s make sure the fire continues.
‘We need to raise awareness of mental health issues and suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 and that needs to change!!
‘This is the best way to raise Keith’s profile and bring his plight to the forefront of pop culture and mainstream.
‘If you don’t want to spend any money then place the song on repeat in a streaming platform such as Spotify or Deezer then mute it and leave it on. This will also count towards the charts.’
Keith’s body was found at his Essex home last week, with police yet to confirm a cause of death for the Prodigy frontman – however his bandmate Liam Howlett told fans Keith died by suicide.
His last performance with the band was on 5 February at The Trusts Arena in Auckland, New Zealand – with the band set to headline London’s SW4 festival in Clapham Common on 24 and 25 August.

The family put on a united front as they went for a meal near Studio City in Los Angeles on Friday evening, chatting outside as they left.
Although the star’s 18-year-old daughter Sophie, who recently jetted back from Africa to be with her family, can’t be seen in the photos, it’s suggested one of the women in the snaps is a friend of hers.

Wendy later spoke out about losing her fiancé in an emotional tribute, as she said: ‘I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support.’

The widow of Oliver! star Jack Wild was left stunned after hearing the price of an original prop from the film set.
Wild, who died of oral cancer in 2006, was just 14-years-old when he played Artful Dodger in the 1968 musical.
Claire Harding appeared on Sunday night’s episode with a high chair that had ‘Dodger Jack’ inscribed on it. The late actor used to sit in it on set.
Harding explained that it was built for him ‘because he was so tiny.’

She said: ‘The normal directors’ chairs weren’t appropriate for him so the chippies on set built this.’
Antiques expert John Foster ‘loved’ the chair and said: ‘It’s just so cool, you’re not going to get another one.’

A shocked Claire joked that she would have to ‘stop my cat sleeping on it then.’
Claire added: ‘He loved being an actor and this film in particular I think was the one he held dearest to his heart.’

In a damning admission, Gloria Allred has claimed there is a third R Kelly sex tape of him engaging in sexual acts with a minor, according to reports.
The celebrity lawyer alleged a newly-discovered sex tape featured the Ignition singer – real name Robert Kelly – ‘having sex with younger women’ was turned into police by a man who came across the tape among his VHS collection.
Gary Dennis claims he was going through old sports tapes when he found the old tape, alleged to be of R Kelly ‘sexually abusing underage African-American girls’ before he handed it over to the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.

He claimed he didn’t know how the tape came to be in his possession.
‘Recently, I came across a box of VHS tapes that I have had in my home for many years. I love sports. And I was searching through the box to see which old tapes I wanted to keep, and which ones I wanted to throw out,’ he said in a press conference in New York alongside Allred on Sunday.
‘I noticed a sports tape, but it also had R Kelly’s name on it. I thought it was a recording of an R Kelly concert. I watched the sports on the tape, then continued to watch what I thought would be an R Kelly concert.

‘To my shock and surprise, R Kelly appeared to be on the tape, but not in concert. Instead, he was sexually abusing underage African-American girls. He was telling them what to do and what to say and it appeared that he was in control of the camera.’
They claimed they believed the women in the videos were underage at the time because they ‘were not fully developed’.
‘I’m very tired of all the lies,’ Kelly said. ‘I’ve been hearing and seeing things on the blogs.
‘All of them [are lying]. That little girls trapped in the basement, helicopters over my house, handcuffing, starving people, I have a harem or cult. I don’t really know what a cult is but I know I don’t have one.
‘If you look at that documentary, everybody said something bad about me. They was describing Lucifer, I’m a man and make mistakes but I’m not the devil or a monster. They are lying on me.’
Cook County sheriff’s spokeswoman Sophia Ansari confirmed the singer would be released on Saturday, after an unknown person made the payment on his behalf.
R Kelly was held in custody after allegedly owing more than eight months in child support for his three children, which hadn’t been paid to his ex-wife Andrea.

As Tom (and us) listened in with an open mouth, she said: ‘I’ve had a ghost with me for years. I actually got a paranormal investigation team to come in my house.

Baptiste’s investigation took a right turn in episode four and the pace slowed down as the hunt for the million euros became priority number one.
With only two episodes to go, things are beginning, ever so slightly to fall into place, though there’s a fair bit we need to figure out before it’s too late.
Here are just some of the things we need to know as the tangled web of murder, mystery and gang warfare gets more complicated.

Why is Genevieve on such a mission?
Genevieve has been hiding her lovers paraplegia from everyone, but couldn’t hide her visits from his wife, who bitterly blamed her for him ending up in a wheelchair.
Determined for justice, she has sought out the Selicu as payback, though how they all tie together isn’t entirely clear right now.
She definitely feels guilty over his current state, leaving him unable to talk or particularly understand the world around him, and having his wife yell at her definitely rubbed salt in the wound.
But what exactly is she doing?

Who killed Kim Vogel?
Oh Kim – out of everyone that just seemed to be caught up in something she wanted no business in, it was her.
So naturally, of course she was going to be the first main character to be killed off in the mission for the million euros.
This was made even more bitter when you add on the fact that, on top of having your throat slit in broad daylight and left to bleed out, she had only just owned her truth with her other half.
Confessing that she was transgender to her loved one was major, and his horrid rejection of her was heartbreaking. So she died feeling unloved (which isn’t even true, seeing as we later saw him mourning her body after identifying her in the morgue.)
So it stands to reason the Selicu did it for the years of running and bad blood between them. But the masked men were still not identified, and so justice still needs to be brought.

Whose side is Edward really on?
First Edward offers to give Constantin information from Baptiste and Europol if they don’t kill him, the n the next second he’s saying the reverse thing to Europol.
So what trick is he trying to pull and whose side is he actually fighting for? Or maybe he’s creating himself as a solo played in his very complicated game.
Pro-tip though Edward – annoying two very dangerous sides isn’t exactly the wisest decision you could make.
Where is Edward going?
Edward is a bit of double/triple crosser for everyone involved, and let down Baptiste by nicking his care and heading off to an unknown location.
But where he’s going is still a mystery – with a vow for ‘some good to come out of this’ promising whatever it is, it will involve avenging the death of Natalie in some way.
Though all of his plans seem to go wrong so something tells us this isn’t going to be any better either.

When will Niels figure out who his dad is?
Despite his mother’s best efforts, it appears that Niels is getting closer to dear, old dad, Baptiste.
However, with no clue of who he actually is, and Baptiste agreeing to continue to hide his parentage from him, it doesn’t bode well when poor Niels finds out his entire family is lying to him.
What will he do once he figures out what’s been going on?

Why is Martha unravelling so badly?
You’d have thought the chief of police would have a bit more involvement in a case involving her ex-lover, their son, and the fact neither know of the blood tie.
But there’s one relationship rising above all else for Martha – booze.
Known to have a bottle in her desk from the start, Martha is definitely living a certain kind of life though the levels of which she’s been able to hide it is currently unknown.
Why is she spiralling so badly and why is it all happening now?
Where the hell are the kidnapped girls?
All the way back in episode one, we were introduced to a sex trafficking ring keeping a string of girls, including Natalie’s younger sister, in a dingy basement.

But they haven’t come up since, and even Constantin doesn’t seem to be worried about checking up on them in any way as his cat and mouse game around Amsterdam keeps him busy.

Glee’s Lea Michele has married her long-term boyfriend Zandy Reich in a gorgeous ceremony, and fans of the show are freaking out.
Rachel’s all grown up!
The actress and singer tied the knot with her beau on Saturday during a ceremony in Northern California in front of close friends and family, including Glee’s Darren Criss and Becca Tobin, and Scream Queens’ Emma Roberts.
Lea shared a photo of the pair of them beaming away, simply captioning it: ‘3/9/19❤️’.
The 32-year-old looks stunning in the snap, obtained by People, with her hand in her husband’s, carrying a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

Later on, the pair were pictured in more casual versions of their outfits, presumably ready for a night of partying.
They definitely deserve it.
‘We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family,’ the happy couple told the website. ‘And most of all, we’re so happy to spend the rest of our lives together.’
The pair have always had a close relationship, proven when Lea made sure Zandy had his seal of approval.
No pressure, then.
Speaking at the Emmys in 2017, Lea said: ‘When my boyfriend got the seal of approval from Ryan Murphy, that was it. Yeah my parents, yeah friends, whatever. But Ryan Murphy, it’s a done deal — it sealed the deal.’

They’ve been dating since 2017, with a source telling People at the time: ‘They’ve been friends for a long time, a few years. Things turned romantic recently and they’re dating now.’
The pair were scheduled to perform at each other’s weddings, having toured together in 2018.

Logan Paul has released a trailer for his bizarre new documentary THE FLAT EARTH: To The Edge And Back – and he appears to be coming for Shane Dawson’s brand.
The vlogger, who hit headlines back in November when he was disowned by the Flat Earth Society (seriously), has made a documentary about his experience, which appears to end with him ‘coming out’ as a flat earther.
Well, alrighty then.
‘Conspiracy theories, we’ve all heard them,’ his voice over in the trailer begins. ‘But even crazier, people that actually believe them.’
The video cuts to Logan conducting interviews with flat earthers, including a young boy.
‘The earth’s flat, because if it wasn’t flat, we’d all be falling off of it,’ the little boy concludes, before Logan gives the camera a look straight out of The Office.
The 23-year-old shows himself being introduced at the conference, before cutting to a series of clips of him hugging and kissing a mystery girl.
In the style of Shane Dawson, who’s renowned for his dramatic conspiracy videos, the music swells as he cuts between dramatic shots of him looking worried, his friends crying, and him smashing something on the ground.

The trailer ends with Logan grinning onstage at the conference, telling the crowd: ‘My name is Logan Paul, and I think I’m coming out of the flat earth closet.’
Researchers who interviewed Flat Earthers at their annual conference (in Rayleigh, North Carolina in 2017, and then in Denver, Colorado in 2018) revealed that YouTube was a big part of convincing them that the Earth is not in fact a sphere, but a disc.
Out of 30 attendees, only one didn’t mention watching flat earth videos on the site.
‘The only person who didn’t say this was there with his daughter and his son-in-law and they had seen it on YouTube and told him about it,’ said Asheley Landrum, who led the research at Texas Tech University.
While some interviewees recalled that they had watched the videos to debunk the theories, they were soon won over by the arguments.

Gemma Collins has vowed that she will ‘never be seen on skates again’ after the Dancing On Ice final, which saw all of this year’s stars return to the ice for the last time.
The 47-year-old judge, who has previously admitted that he ‘regrets’ turning the ITV skating competition into the GC show, compared her to the kitchen appliance while in conversation with presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Talking about the final, which sees all the competitors return to the rink for one last performance, Phil probed: ‘Gemma’s back.’
‘Gemma and Jason will be kept separate so they won’t be crossing paths backstage tonight. There is still no love lost between them,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Their dressing rooms are on opposite sides of the venue so hopefully there won’t be any more explosions between them.’

Gwyneth Paltrow may be seeing success with her wellness brand Goop, but she’s definitely not above poking fun at herself, as she’s made clear during a skit on Saturday Night Live.
The actress joined Heidi Gardner, who played unsuccessful Goop employee Baskin Johns, and host Michael Che onstage.
After Baskin is shown to struggle with explaining Goop products, fearing that she’ll receive the ultimate punishment of being sent to Missouri, supervisor Fifer James, played by Gwyneth, comes to the rescue – sort of.
‘I’m really afraid that Gwyneth’s going to fire me,’ Baskin said.
Eventually, the pair both dissolve into tears over a Himalayan salt scrub (we’ve all been there), with Gwyneth’s character describing salt as ‘angry sugar’.
Finally, Michael asked the question on everyone’s minds – what does Goop actually stand for?
‘Gwyneth opens our paychecks,’ the pair answered in unison.

Sources close to the deal told Entertainment Tonight that a series made up of Goop content is underway; however, insiders are remaining tight lipped.
This wouldn’t be the first time that a Goop TV show has been on Gwyneth’s mind, as the actress previously teased the idea in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
Chatting to the publication, the Goop mastermind spilled on her ideas for a potential programme.
She said: ‘What we are thinking of doing is a TV show with the working title The Radical Wellness Show.
‘I would be going into the field and talking to any number of doctors, scientists, civilians, people in crisis in Flint, Michigan, where there is something to uncover and confront about wellness.’

As the news of Keith Flint’s death continued to sink in, it has been claimed the Prodigy singer had a ‘secret girlfriend’ for two years.
A week after his body was found last Monday at the age of 49, it has been reported the performer was in a serious relationship with mum-of-three Faye Kelbie, 43.
Despite the relationship ending ‘weeks’ before his body was found in his Essex home, it has been reported the two were in touch days before his death.
The Sun has claimed the pair met through friends in their village in Essex, after Keith split with his wife Mayumi Kai ‘three years ago’.
‘Faye is absolutely devastated. For over two years, Keith was a huge part of her life and she adored him,’ a source told the publication.

‘They split up because she struggled with the amount of time he was touring.
‘Faye just wishes she had known the extent of his unhappiness and mental health issues — she would have done all she could to help. But the feeling is that Keith made his mind up to end things weeks ago.’

He added to TMZ: ‘What you’ve got to understand is, were not looking after each other anymore … any of you out there, come talk to me. Alright? Come talk to me. We do not need to die.’
Keith was found dead at his home on Monday morning in Dunmow, Essex.
Police confirmed he had passed away in statement, saying that the star was ‘pronounced dead at the scene’ and his death is ‘not being treated as suspicious’.
His cause of death hasn’t yet been confirmed, but Keith’s bandmate Liam Howlett told fans he took his own life.

The former Towie star tied the knot to the love of her life in a beautiful island ceremony in the Maldives.
Making their vows in the island of Kuramathi, the newlyweds were joined by nearly 100 family and friends as Ferne McCann surprised them with a performance of Stand By Me at their reception.
Speaking to OK! magazine the mum-of-two said: ‘Other than the days that Nelly and Arthur were born, it was the best day of my life.

Billie explained why she opted for a style far more adventurous than the typical wedding dress.
‘As soon as I tried it on I had “the feeling”’, she said. ‘When you know you know! Because we didn’t get married in a church I could get away with something more daring’.
On the reports of a ‘loud of and rowdy wedding party’, Billie dismissed them completely, as she added: ‘The hotel manager hasn’t had any complaints about our party.
‘I was half expecting some loudness as there are 95 of us out here celebrating [but] we have always been very respectful of the island and the other guests holidaying here’.
Billie’s four-year-old daughter Nelly acted as flower girl for the ceremony, her two-year-old son Arthur and her three-year-old nephew Paul took on the role of pageboys, while sister Sam Faiers was Maid Of Honour.

Emilia Clarke has defended Game Of Thrones’ nudity in the lead-up to the final season, saying it’s not what the show is about.

As we eagerly await the arrival of the eighth and final series of the HBO classic, the actress has gathered her dragons and threatened a good fire-breathing for anyone who thinks the show is just a big ol’ nude fest.
In the past the fantasy drama has sparked headlines over violence and nudity and a scene involving Kit Harington’s bare bum was billed by some an ‘epic’ moment in the show’s history – despite punters seeing a lot more skin and gore.

‘Kit’s ass, someone else’s ass, my ass, it doesn’t matter! It’s not what the show is about, it’s not what any bit of acting is about,’ Emilia told Associated Press.
She added: ‘As for my character, I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve been naked.’
Fair dos, Emilia. The star believes the message it has for empowering women is so much more important.
‘I can talk about the importance of women in this show until the cows come home,’ she continued.
‘It has gone a way to changing the landscape of the industry as we see it, which is really vital and really important.’
Her co-stars Gemma Whelan and Gwendoline Christie echoed Emilia’s sentiments, as Gwendoline said her character, Brienne ‘was defying gender norms and the female perceptions that we have’ on TV thus far.
It comes after Emilia prepared to say goodbye to her character for good, with the show landing back on screens next month.
Talking about her efforts to poach props, Emilia confessed: ‘I tried to throw some things under the wig, hide them in my bag, nothing.
‘Apparently the throne itself you can’t… I was there pushing it, trying to get it in the car. It didn’t fit, so what are you gonna do?’
Whether she got off with stealing the Iron Throne or not, she still believes the finale of the long-running epic will shock people.
Which, frankly, isn’t all that shocking seeing as we’ve been on the edge of our seats the past eight years.
Speaking to E! News, she said of the final chapter: ‘It’s going to be huge, that much everyone needs to know. It took us a long time to film this one for a very good reason.
‘But I think there’s going to be some things… I know there’s going to be some things in this last season that will shock people.’
