Masterchef judge John Torode was left in total suspense after proposing to girlfriend Lisa Faulkner at Christmas – as she didn’t say ‘yes’ for an agonising three hours.

John, 53, popped the question to Lisa, 47, on Christmas Day making for the most romantic proposal. However, Lisa was so pleasantly stunned by the moment that she actually forgot to say the all important ‘yes’, leaving John hanging for hours on end until she had to be reminded.

During his Good Morning Britain interview on Thursday, John recalled: ‘I did and she said “yes” which was really lovely.

‘In fact, she didn’t yes for three and a half hours because she was so gobsmacked. I remember saying to her, “Are you going to say yes?” and she went, “Have I not said yes?” I went, “No you have not said yes yet”.’

Oh, bless her.

Rubbing salt into the wound, host Kate Garraway chimed in: ‘Kate chimed in: ‘She made you sweat like you do the contestants, she’s getting her revenge.’

John added: ‘The other thing is, she was so frustrated because we’re in a different time zone so she couldn’t ring anybody or tell anybody.’

It might be a while before the happy couple tie the knot as John admits they’re busy work schedules are holding back the preparations somewhat.

The TV star teased: ‘Sort of, things are moving in the right direction but we’re quite busy at the moment, we’re filming Celeb [Masterchef] at the moment.’

Lisa announced the news of their engagement with a sweet Instagram post, which read: ‘y gorgeous John completely surprised me on Christmas Day and asked me to marry him!

‘After waiting to tell our family when we got home we then had a few days just grinning at each other!! Im so very happy to share our lovely news with you [sic].’

Sitting alongside Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace, John also addressed their infamous disagreements and said it’s all part and parcel of the show.

He said: ‘We’ve all got our opinions and personalities, we are what we are and we do disagree. If we didn’t disagree then… everyone’s got their own opinion about food and they’re right to have an opinion.’

Financial sources claim that Sony are in ‘advanced board level discussions’ to buy the parent Rockstar, but is it really true?

Rather than the usual dataminers or age rating board leaks this rumour comes from unnamed financial sources, which has been enough to see shares in Take-Two jump by 6.8%.

The exact source of the rumours is unknown but the story was first reported by website MarketWatch. Their short paragraph of news has been updated multiple times but originally stated that Sony, ‘is in advanced board level discussions to acquire Take-Two Interactive in a mostly cash deal’.

That detail, along with a share price value of $130, has since been removed but the story still references Joel Kulina, head of technology and media trading at Wedbush Securities.

Website GamesIndustry.biz contacted Kulina, who denied being the source of the rumours.

‘This is purely unconfirmed market speculation that is making the rounds,’ said Kulina. ‘I am not the source of this story in any regard. And not sure who quoted me as I didn’t speak with anyone over the phone (unless someone saw a trading note that I wrote).’

The note in question has no sources, which creates the strong possibility that the whole story is entirely fictional. Although, as pointed out by MarketWatch, Take-Two’s shares had seen a sharp rise before they published their story – suggesting there were plenty of people who believed the rumours to be true before the news went public.

Despite the enormous success of everything Rockstar does that hasn’t always reflected on parent company Take-Two, who has often struggled to maintain any major hits of its own – although in recent years it has done very well with the NBA 2K sports titles.

As a result, EA attempted to buy Take-Two back in 2008, but after seven months of negations decided the asking price was too much.

That was at a time when Take-Two was struggling under a financial scandal amongst many of its execs and suffering disappointing results despite the success of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Today there are no such problems and Take-Two has a market capitalisation of around $10 billion, which would require an offer of around $14 billion to buy them.

Sony as a whole has a market capitalisation (the total market value of a company’s outstanding shares) of around $60 billion, so they’re obviously a much bigger company but it would be an unusually large purchase under normal financial wisdom.

The real question though is why would they even want to buy Take-Two all of a sudden? With the next generation coming up it could something to do with that – perhaps as a way to increase their stable of exclusive games in the face of competing streaming services – but it’s certainly an unexpected move.

But given the lack of provenance behind the rumours there’s also a good chance it’s simply not true.

Dani Dyer was left fearing for her life during the Mount Kilimanjaro climb for Comic Relief.

Dani joined the likes of Little Mix stars Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker and Strictly Come Dancing stars Shirley Ballas and Ed Balls to scale the mountain in the name of Red Nose Day.

The Love Island star had a hairy moment during the ascent as she struggled to scale the volcano.

She said: ‘Oh my god I’m petrified. I’ve never even climbed a climbing frame. Never. I’m scared of slides, I’m scared of everything.’

In Kilimanjaro: The Bigger Red Nose Climb which aired on Wednesday night, Dani broke down in tears as her fellow celebs encouraged her to push on.

Sobbing, Dani said: ‘I’m really scared though. I’m just freaking out. I can’t get up there. I can’t do it. I’m just so scared.’

She bravely overcame her fears, but admitted to Jade that she feared she would die.

‘It was at a certain point on the rock when I honestly thought I’m gonna die,’ Dani said later.

‘It’s a life or death experience Jade. It is.’

Dani previously joked that her mum Joanne Mas ‘will go mad at me’ if she didn’t complete the sponsored climb.

All the celebrities who took part made it to the top, but had to battle altitude sickness and lack of oxygen on the way.

Jade was also seen in tears close to the finish as she was struck down by the sickness, with Dan wiping away her tears and encouraging her to breathe.

Shirley also became emotional as she became anxious about sleeping in a tent for the first time.

‘I suffer from OCD, I like showering all the time. I’m used to bathing three or four times a day. The prospect of having to wash all your bits and bobs with a wet wipe is daunting’, she said.

Their amazing charitable endeavour comes in the run-up to the Comic Relief telethon, which airs on 15 March.

Among the highlights viewers can look forward to on the night is a sequel to classic rom-com Four Weddings And A Funeral, with 15 of the original cast members reprising their roles including Hugh Grant and Andie MacDowell.

Nick Jonas may be sliding into Miley Cyrus’ DMs but Priyanka Chopra isn’t worried, as she’s been subtly sliding into Miley’s comments at the same time.

Miley shared a screengrab of Nick’s DM after she posted several pictures in honor of Women’s History Month reminiscing on her Disney days.

The series of throwbacks caught the attention Nick – who Miley famously dated in the early Aughts – after one of the pictures featured a young Miley sporting a Jonas Brothers tee.

‘Amazing. These throwbacks have been [fire emoji],’ he sent her, and the Wrecking Ball songstress then cheekily shared the DM.

‘That moment when even your ex knows your socials have been [fire],’ she wrote with eight accompanying fire emojis – but Priyanka, who married Nick in December, was quick to respond, adding: ‘Lol. Hahaha.. Hubby is right. These posts r [fire].’

Nick and Miley dated on and off for several years and were the power couple of the Disney Channel in the early- and mid-Aughts but after they split the pair remained pals.

Miley went on to release 7 Things – the original Thank U Next – about her romance with Nick and the fact that Selena Gomez also was in love with Nick.

A lot has happened since the Cyrus/Jonas/Gomez love triangle, with Miley and her long-term love Liam Hemsworth tying the knot in December last year after 10 years together.

They wed in a private ceremony held at their Tennessee home in front of their close family.

Nick and Priyanka wed in three-day affair held in India, that included a Christian wedding, a traditional Hindu wedding and its pre-ritual ceremonies.

Speaking about their wedding, Priyanka admitted she had a panic attack right before walking down the aisle.

She told Good Morning America: ‘I kind of had a freak out moment right before I was supposed to walk down the aisle.

‘I just started having a panic attack…. then the doors opened and I saw [Nick] and I cannot forget that moment.’

Kevin Clifton has spoken out about how he’s managed to stay ‘good friends’ with Karen Clifton following their split last year.

The Strictly Come Dancing stars announced their separation in March 2018, with Karen recently going public with new boyfriend David Webb at the launch night of Rip It Up.

Despite their split, the pair have still worked together on a number of projects – including going on tour and dancing with one another on last year’s series of Strictly.

Speaking on Lorraine about their relationship, Kevin explained how they both realised splitting up didn’t have to be vengeful process.

‘We’re really good friends,’ Kevin said. ‘We’ve still been dancing together, we did the tour together after that. And we worked together on Strictly.

‘We do have a big respect for each other, and we just decided it didn’t have to be argumentative or difficult. We just thought let’s stay friends, let’s work through it as calmly a way as possible and it’s all good. We’re all fine.

‘You’re always going to have love for each other and you just want to look out for each other.’

Kevin scooped the Glitterball trophy with partner Stacey Dooley on last year’s series of Strictly, which came as an enormous surprise to both of them.

‘We just didn’t expect it. Well we thought Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell were going to win. We were convinced they were going to win because Joe was so good and they were so lovely, we just thought that was that.

‘And then we were bottom of the leaderboard in the final. So we didn’t think there was any chance. So when Tess called out our names, it was genuine shock. I fell to the floor and I think Stacey’s mum invaded the pitch, it was mayhem.’

The Bachelor has certainly kept us glued to our TVs over the past couple of weeks, with all the drama that it’s dished up.

And it’s not quite over yet, with titular bachelor Alex Marks set to finally choose his winner in Thursday night’s final.

Just three candidates remain, after we bid farewell to hopeful Robyn Tollady on Wednesday, leaving Alex and his finalists to head on one final trip to Antigua.

We’ll see how that unfolds – and see the winner – in the final, but when does it all kick off?

The series finale gets underway on Channel 5 at 10pm.

Wednesday night’s dramatic semi-final saw Alicia, Charlotte E and Charlotte T make it to the last stage of the competition.

Alex chose to eliminate Robyn in the rose-giving ceremony, leading to some serious awkwardness as she stormed out, furious.

Robyn – who had been introduced to Alex’s friends and family in a hometown date just days earlier, told Wright: ‘How can he say what he’s said to me?’

Alex later explained to her: ‘I’ve known we have a connection, but I didn’t know how deep or how far it was going to go. That’s what I’m struggling to see past.’

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has expressed how he doesn’t believe Jaime and Cersei Lannister’s romance on Game Of Thrones is particularly unusual, brushing the incest aside.

The twin siblings have formed the defining taboo relationship on the show, establishing a twisted, if sympathetic, power couple dynamic which has rippled throughout.

Speaking to Men’s Health about their romance, Nikolaj stated how he doesn’t see Jaime’s lust for Cersei as that odd, when taken outside the family context.

‘I think most people have at least been attracted to someone you shouldn’t be,’ Nikolaj said. ‘Not your sister, but someone you really shouldn’t fall in love with. Like your best friend’s girlfriend.

‘It’s one of the few true love stories in Game Of Thrones – Jaime is dedicated to this woman.’

The actor also praised showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff for sticking to their plan for the show, despite the overwhelming success and pressures from HBO.

Nikolaj said they ‘stuck to their guns and said, “This is the story we wanna tell; we’re not gonna extend this” – because I’m sure HBO would have loved another couple years of this show.

‘There’s an audience for it, for sure. But I think everyone who watches the show will appreciate that it’s finished – that it was one story from episode one to episode 83, and we told it.’

The eighth and final season is a mere month away, with HBO recently releasing a spectacular trailer to skyrocket anticipation.

After The Simpsons fans called for Apu Nahasapeemapetilon to be pulled from the cartoon for perpetuating racial stereotypes, creator Al Jean has admitted there is work to be done on the Kwik-E-Mart owner.

Last year, producer and YouTuber Adi Shankar claimed The Simpsons were axing the long-running character following the 2017 documentary, The Problem With Apu.

Jean has now stressed that on the flip side, there’s plenty of support from the South Asian community for Homer’s long-term pal (voiced by Hank Azaria) too.

‘As a writer, I always wanted to make Apu an original character – more noble, more hardworking, and more intelligent than the average Simpsons character,’ Jean told The Daily Beast.

‘When we were doing Episode 4, there was a big joke that Reverend Lovejoy didn’t even know what religion he was, and Apu was just being this wonderful volunteer fireman, and there was an article in the Guardian recently by a South Asian writer who said that moment made him feel really proud.’

‘So I think there are a lot of things about Apu that have made South Asians very proud, and it’s a very complicated issue.’

Although, he added: ‘I apologise for anyone who was bullied because of Apu.

‘I hate bullies. I was bullied, and if you’re a bully I’ll kick your ass, so certainly that was wrong.’

As for the character’s future, Jean confessed it was a ‘work in progress’.

Apu has widely been described as ‘problematic’ at the very least, but the suggestion he should be dropped from The Simpsons completely proved to be a minefield of polarising opinions at the tail end of 2018.

Joe Mantega, who you may recognise as the voice of Fat Tony, explained to Metro.co.uk that it was a ‘tough one’ to address.

‘I find some of that controversy…sometimes I feel we’ve taken political correctness perhaps too far. I’m not a big advocate of censorship,’ the Criminal Minds star told us.

‘Times have changed, but in some ways we’re going backwards. They’re just words and if you start censoring certain things you give them a power.

‘Now you’re saying this is a magical kind of thing and you can’t touch that, you can’t say that. As opposed to just saying you have to be smart enough to understand we can do satire and say words…I think they’re putting braces on people’s minds.’

Lena Dunham has gone and shared another naked selfie again – but this time she’s covered up her modesty with pig snout emojis.

The 32-year-old is all about feeling body positive when it comes to the gram and has recently been dropping a number of underwear pics onto her feed.

Taking to her story earlier this week, the Girls star posed naked in yet another snap where she strategically placed pig snout and bee emojis.

With no explanation, she then added a string of photos that showed off her artwork – which appeared to have been drawn during a life class.

The actress had been sketching self portraits, as well as images of both Emmy Rossum and Emily Ratajkowski.

At the end of last year, Lena opened up in a post about how she is currently recovering after ‘fetishising’ her body.

Posting side by side photos from summer 2017 and now, she showed off the significant changes to her body – but more importantly, her mind-set.

In the caption she began: ‘Found this pic from summer 2017. I was very sick but fetishising my own body.’

The star added: ‘Here I am after Thanks G 2018. I am happy, proud & healing so I should fetishise this body and offer her THANX.’

She later shared the picture onto her main feed, where she wrote: ‘TFW you feel it so hard that you take it from stories to feed.’

Lena has recently celebrated six months of sobriety after becoming addicted to the anti-anxiety medication Klonopin.

Chatting on comedian Dax Shepard‘s podcast Armchair Expert, she confessed: ‘I’ve been sober for six months, my particular passion was Klonopin.’

She added: ‘I was having crazy anxiety and having to show up for things that I didn’t feel equipped to show up for. But I’d know I needed to do it, and when I took a Klonopin, I could do it.’

Lena went on to explain how the drug became something she took ‘whenever she was awake’, to deal with traumatic experiences in her past.

‘I was diagnosed with pretty serious PTSD. I have a few sexual traumas in my past and then I had all these surgeries and then I had my hysterectomy after a period of really extreme pain.’

Apex Legends has become the biggest hit of the year but that success did not come cheap and neither did Ninja’s involvement in promoting it.

Big name YouTubers and Twitch stars don’t do anything for free. If they talk about anything other than the normal game they play it’s probably because they’ve been paid to do so.

Richard Tyler Blevins, better known to the world as Ninja, was one of a number of influencers who switched from their normal routine to tweet about and stream EA’s Apex Legends, when it was announced out of the blue last month.

According to a report by Reuters this wasn’t an accident or just because he was interested in the game, but because EA paid him $1 million (£750,000) to do so.

It’s unknown how many other influences EA also paid but Reuters claims it definitely includes Shroud, although it’s unknown if he was paid the same amount.

$1 million is twice Ninja’s monthly earnings from streaming, although he long ago started making more money from advertising and merchandise than from Twitch – his absences from streaming leading him to lose 90% of his subscribers over the last year.

There’s nothing illegal in what EA did, and they have not denied paying influencers, but they have refused to confirm exactly how much they were paid.

Ninja certainly didn’t mention how much he was earning at the time, although he did use the hashtag #ApexPartner with his videos. Even so, many viewers would have been left with the impression that he was simply playing the games for fun because it had just come out and was similar to Fortnite.

From EA’s perspective though everything went perfectly, with analysts estimating that they’ve made around $500 million from in-game purchases in Apex Legends already.

‘We really wanted to create a day where you couldn’t escape Apex if you cared about games and we wanted it to feel like an event was happening everywhere around the globe on that day,’ said Apex Legends lead producer Drew McCoy.

‘We had streamers from all over Europe, LatAm, North America, Korea, Japan so that we could get our message out there and people would see the game’.

Michael Jackson’s love for his ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley, ‘wasn’t genuine’ according to one of the late popstar’s former maids.

The Thriller singer, who died in June 2009 aged 50, was married to Lisa, daughter of Elvis Presley, for just 15 months between 1994 and 1996.

Former maid Adrian McManus, who worked at Jackson’s Neverland ranch for four years, alleges the late singer had a different agenda with his marriage to Lisa, which she says was to ‘manipulate’ her to acquire song rights to her father Elvis’ catalogue.

Speaking to Mail Online, McManus said: ‘I don’t think he was being genuine to her. He wanted Elvis’ legacy and I think Lisa was kind of played for a fool, sad to say. But I think she learned.’

McManus went on to claim that Michael and Lisa, who met in 1993, had a ‘strange relationship’ and believes there was a lack of ‘chemistry’.

She alleged: ‘I never saw them have any real genuine romantic interaction. She came to the house quite a few times, but they were always fooling around. They were more like friends than lovers.’

McManus also explained how she ‘felt sorry’ for Lisa who she believes was ‘genuinely in love’ with Jackson, but was still ‘surprised’ when they got married.

Further making a bold allegation about Jackson’s sexuality, McManus said: ‘I think he married Lisa Marie to prove to the world that he liked women and was straight.’

Lisa has mostly remained silent about Jackson over the years but she is reported to have provided a quote for J Randy Taraborrelli’s 2003 book, The Magic And The Madness.

Addressing Jordan Chandler’s historic sexual abuse allegations about Jackson, Lisa is quoted as saying: ‘I believed he didn’t do anything wrong, and that he was wrongly accused and, yes, I started falling for him. I wanted to save him. I felt that I could do it.’

McManus also appeared in HBO’s documentary Leaving Neverland, which focused on sex abuse allegations against Jackson from Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege Jackson molested them during their childhood.

Leaving Neverland director Dan Reed was forced to hit back at theories that Robson and Safechuck have been untruthful about their allegations in a bid to make money.

The director is now hoping to make a sequel to the controversial film.

Jussie Smollett’s Empire character spoke about a ‘tough week’ as the show came back to screens for the first time since the actor was arrested for allegedly ‘staging a hate crime’.

Jamal Lyon, played by Smollett, appeared in the episode filmed months before his alleged attack, called My Fault Is Past, addressing a high school crowd.

He said: ‘I don’t know if you’ve been reading the blogs, but it’s been kind of a tough week’.

It has been a tough week for Jussie too as the 36-year-old attended a court hearing on Tuesday, one he didn’t need to be present for.

According to TMZ the hearing was for his attorney, Mark Geragos, to file the paperwork so he can represent the actor and his case in Illinois. Jussie vehemently denies the charges and will defend the case.

My Fault Is Past also had parallels between Jamal’s gig addressing recent troubles, and Jussie’s real life concert in the wake of the supposed attack.

Jamal’s turbulent plot saw him discover that Jeff Kingsley, his family’ arch enemy, is in fact his half brother. He also split from fiance Kai as he wanted to stay loyal to the Lyon dynasty.

As his heartbreak and the family revelation weighed heavily on him, Jamal broke down alone in his apartment.

Jussie’s future on Empire is currently up in the air as the actor faces charges for disorderly conduct for filing a false report.

Jamal has already been written out of the final two episodes of the season, and bosses were said to be thinking about their next steps which could include either recasting or killing off the character.

But chief Brett Mahoney has insisted that it is ‘too early’ for any decisions to be made.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Mahoney said: ‘It’s a matter of trusting the process and allowing the legal process to play out and see where it goes from there. ‘It’s too early to think about what we would have to do if we didn’t have Jussie… it’s too early to think about the show without him.’

He added that the last couple of weeks have been ‘an emotional rollercoaster’ on set.

Howard Stern has branded Wendy Williams a ‘jealous bitch’ after launching an attack on her and her career on his radio show.

The controversial ‘shock jock’ took to his high horse after Wendy Williams suggested that he had toned down his image over the last few years, and used his platform on SiriusXM to big himself up and knock her down in the process.

He declared: ‘Jealous bitch… You are nobody to me.

‘You’ll never be me, Wendy. You’ll never be me. You can pretend to be me, you can pretend to be like me, but you’re not. You don’t have my wit and you don’t have my talent.

‘You couldn’t have that career. You’re a fly.’

What did she say that caused such a reaction? Branding him ‘too Hollywood’ and anticipated his new book to be about fame.

Talking about the fact he was a hero of hers, Wendy said: ‘Howard, I love you, but since you’ve gone Hollywood, everything you say is so predictable.’

‘Every story is going to be about, “Oh, I love this one, and then we went on their yacht”,’ she said.  ‘He’s a Hollywood insider, which sucks.’

Pretty safe to say that struck a nerve with Howard in some way – and once he’d started his response, it was clear he just couldn’t stop.

‘What evidence do you have that I’m Hollywood, honey? I grew up a scumbag and I’m still treated like a scumbag,’ he seethed.

‘What, because I found success now I’m “Hollywood?” What cause I know Jimmy Kimmel?’ Howard added.

‘Who am I hanging out with? She doesn’t know who I’m hanging out with. She doesn’t know what I do in this world. She doesn’t know who I’m fucking with.’

During his tirade, he also lashed out at her health issues and discussed the denied reports her husband had been cheating on her.

‘Worry about your husband, not me,’ he announced. ‘Fuck you and your dumb show and your mystery illness. She disappears for two months, nobody knows why, and now she’s questioning me? Thanks honey. I never fainted on my show either.’

Buuuut the shock jock, seemingly determined to sound as shocking as possible, wasn’t done, and continued: ‘I’m not somebody you want to fuck with, honey. I don’t want to hear your bullshit, and you’re not a nice person.

‘Nobody likes you, that’s why you can’t go Hollywood. People do not like her. [The staff] was doing a dance over at The Wendy Williams Show when she was out.

‘She’s a big pain in the ass. I hate to break the news to you, honey. Good thing you hurried back.’

Piers Morgan has tried to turn the tables on Gordon Ramsay after the chef urged the Good Morning Britain star to go ‘f*** himself’ for attacking vegans.

While the former Britain’s Got Talent judge is used to fiery four-letter expletives coming his way, he’s hit back at Gordon, 52, by digging up an old, pretty incriminating, remark from the Kitchen Nightmares firecracker in 2016.

‘Is this the same @GordonRamsay who when asked in 2016 if he had any allergies, replied “vegans” – and who last year tweeted that PETA stands for “People Eating Tasty Animals”?’ he snapped back on Twitter today, and we’re counting down the minutes for Gordon’s sweary response.

The beef (genuinely no pun intended) all kicked off during Gordon – who is expecting his fifth child with wife Tanya later this year – slammed Piers during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden after the controversial columnist tweeted puking up emoji’s at the chef when he bigged up a vegan roast dinner.

Gordon, however, wasn’t having it – at all.

‘So Piers Morgan is now a food critic?!’ he laughed. ‘Go and f*** yourself! Seriously?! Really?!’

Piers may think he’s being clever, but Gordon has repeatedly apologised for his previous outbursts on veganism and even went as far as holding his hands up to ‘eat a slice of humble pie’.

As for Piers, he’s still fighting the lonely fight against animal welfare, by pretending to throw up a delicious vegan sausage roll (trust us, they’re next level delicious).

However, he was deservedly red-faced when pal Vinnie Jones appeared on Good Morning Britain last week and urged the host to embrace a meat-free lifestyle to ‘shred’ a few pounds.

As their fans eagerly await their latest studio release, let’s take a look at some of their most successful bangers so far…

Save ME

With close to 360 million YouTube views so far, the song Save ME was released in 2016 as a part of their The Most Beautiful Moment In Life: Young Forever compilation album, and made it to number two on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart.

One of the things that stands out the most about the music video it that it is all filmed in a one-shot take.

IDOL

This track, released in 2018 and with an additional version featuring Nicki Minaj, hit number one in Korea, number 21 in the UK and number 11 in the US.

The version with Minaj has 69 million YouTube views, while the original has nearly 400 million YouTube views.

Blood Sweat & Tears

As the lead single of their album Wings, Blood Sweat & Tears was their first ever number one ranked song on the weekly Gaon Digital Chart, and garnered upwards of 6 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours.

This served to break the last record held for the highest number of YouTube views of a K-pop music video within the same time frame. Currently, it has roughly 422 million YouTube views.

DOPE

DOPE, with nearly 441 million YouTube views. views, was released back in 2015 as a part of the album The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 1.

Less than 15 hours after its release, the music video made it up to one million YouTube views, and it was their first video to make it past 100 million views.

MIC Drop

The video for the Steve Aoki remix of BTS’ MIC Drop has, at the time this was written, gotten over 453 million views on YouTube.

This remix was also the first song by a Korean music group ever to hit number one on the US iTunes songs chart.

Fake Love

BTS’ 2018 single Fake Love peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This made it their most successful song in the chart to date.

At the moment, it’s got over 473 million views on YouTube.

Fire

To date, the music video for Fire has over 500 million YouTube views.

Released in 2016, the song made it to the top of the Billboard World Digital Songs chart.

DNA

The music video for the lead single of the EP Love Yourself: Her broke the record for most viewed K-pop group music video within the first 24 hours, with 21 million views on YouTube. To date, it has over 660 million YouTube views, and is currently their most-viewed music video on YouTube.

It was also BTS’ first song that made it on to the Billboard Hot 100 chart – at number 85 – which made them the first K-pop boy band ever to make it onto the chart.

Jessica Alba launched her successful business The Honest Company back in 2011.

However, despite it being worth a whopping $1billion (£755,500,000), the 37-year-old has confessed that she’s only now started to call herself ‘smart.’

While chatting to Health magazine, the star opened up on not having a ‘conventional’ education, which subsequently made her feel less intelligent than her peers.

She told the publication: ‘When I was younger, I thought I wasn’t smart. I didn’t have a conventional or higher education. Now, after starting a business, I feel okay with identifying myself as smart.’

The actress admitted that it took her a while to find her confidence, before giving her own advice on how to be successful.

‘I even felt inferior saying I was an actress without being classically trained. It took me a while to find my confidence,’ she said.

‘I may not be the best actress ever, but do I have my moments? Definitely. And don’t underestimate street smarts – all of that hustle and life experiences.

‘You have to roll with the punches – that’s how you’re going to be successful in life.’

The Honest Company is described on their website as a ‘honestly safe baby and beauty company.’

Talking about why she founded the business more than eight years ago, Jessica added: ‘I wanted safe, effective products that perform. After all, you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you.’

Since its birth, The Honest Company has been so successful that the mother-of-three is now extending the brand to a new project: Honest Beauty.

But while looking after others with her clean baby and beauty range, the star is also making sure she is taking good care of herself.

She said: ‘Some days I just need to go in my room and read a book for an hour and put a face mask on.

‘Other days I need to wake up at 5:15 a.m. and get a spin class in to feel good, even though I hate waking up early.’

Alba added: ‘I’ve tried to get into TM, a type of meditation, but it felt so hard-core. Wellness should feel like something I want to do.

Drake might be the busiest man in the world right on his mammoth European tour, but that’s not stopping the rapper from ‘making extra effort’ to spend time with his young son, Adonis, while he’s across the pond.

The In My Feelings rapper launched the European leg of his Assassination Nation Tour in Manchester on Sunday, and little Adonis was reportedly watching from the side of the stage.

In June, Drake, 32, announced that he had secretly become a father following a brief romance with Sophie Brussaux, who now lives in France with the tot.

According to Hollywood Life, Drake has been flying Sophie and Adonis back and forth so he can spend time with the one-year-old with him being on this side of the pond.

A source said: ‘She’s flown with Adonis all the way to LA before to see Drake so meeting up with him in the UK was no issue at all.

‘Drake pays for all her travel of course, he always does. He is always very hospitable to Sophie, but since he’s in Europe, he is making extra effort to see his son.’

Drake is currently in France and performed a show at Paris’ AccorHotels Arena on Wednesday evening, in close proximity to where Adonis lives with his mum.

However, the source claims it’s ‘unlikely’ that Sophie and Adonis will stay with Drake for the entire European leg.

But for now, Drizzy is ‘getting more quality time with his son [in Paris] over the next few days’.

On his latest album Scorpion, Drake revealed how he was disappointed he had fathered a child while not in a serious relationship, and feared telling his parents he’d gotten a woman pregnant after only sleeping together twice.

But fatherhood has been the making of Drake, who ‘loves being a dad’.

The source said: ‘[He] is so proud of his son. He just keeps things very discreet because he feels that is safest and healthiest for his son.

‘Drake doesn’t want to broadcast any of his time with his son because he is a very protective father. He is a great father that wants his son to have as much of a normal life as possible. And he is going to continue to make sure that is the case.’

Drake’s tour will return to the UK on 22 March for three nights in Birmingham before heading to London for a whopping seven-date run.

Alex Hollywood has spoken about her split from TV chef Paul Hollywood in her first ever TV interview.

The Great British Bake Off star Paul and Alex met in Cyprus in 1996 and married in 1998. They had son Josh in October 2001.

The food writer appeared on This Morning on Thursday to speak out for the first time.

She said: ‘At the end of the day, divorce is such a hard thing.

‘Anyone who has been through it would understand. It’s more if it’s in the public eye.

‘I get I was married to someone who was on one of the nicest best shows on TV, for years, so there will be interest.

‘There have been a lot of things that have been said that have no bearing on me or my marriage or my divorce.

‘I have not commented and I will continue not to comment. I’m trying to get divorced. I want to carry on and do my recipes and write.’

Speaking about Paul’s confession about sleeping with Marcella Valladolid, his US Bake Off co-star, Alex said: ‘You can’t judge people all the time and say you can’t do this you can’t do that. People are human.

‘At the end of the day this is right for me. I need to move on. No one ever thinks they’re going to be divorced but you just have to get on with it.

‘It’s a case of being able to deal with it yourself and think, I can live with this and move forward. I want to be happy. Of course [I want the same for Paul]. He’s the father of my son.’

Paul, 52, is now in a relationship with 23-year-old Summer Monteys-Fullam after ending their 20-year marriage.

Alex is said to be relaunching her TV cookery career with a gig on BBC’s Good Food Show alongside Mary Berry.

Paul ended his marriage to Alex in 2017 after being together for more than 20 years.

Before the break-up, they had briefly split in 2013 after he confessed to sleeping with Marcella Valladolid, his co-star in the US version of the Bake Off.

Alex has since said she was hurt at his behaviour and decision to split, but wasn’t angry.

‘Paul and I had an ordinary marriage,’ she told Prima Magazine.

‘It lasted 19 years with a hiccup in the middle and then an abrupt end. But I have a son and I had to be strong for him.

‘No one should underestimate how separation and divorce can hit you. I compare it to a moment where you’re driving along the motorway and then the next moment, something beyond your control happens and you’re driving in a completely wrong direction.’

‘You have to give yourself time to get your head round it,’ she added. ‘We all reflect differently and I went into automatic pilot to start with. I think I went through the same five stages of grief that a bereaved person does [denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance]. Being able to be weak is a strength too, and it’s okay to sit and have a cry.’

Dan Osborne has denied claims that he cheated on his wife Jacqueline Jossa with Alexandra Cane during a night out together with friends in Manchester.

‘Absolutely nothing happened with Alex – Dan has been friends for a while with her after working together,’ reps for Dan and Alexandra told Metro.co.uk.

‘They all met up with friends and enjoyed a great night out like friends do.’

The allegations came after sources alleged that the pair ‘kissed’ at Neighbourhood bar in Manchester on a night last week.

Olivia Attwood, Megan Barton-Hanson and James Arg Argent were all also in the bar, but the insider claimed that Dan was ‘putting his hands all on her – grinding against her and thrusting his hips’.

‘He’s a married man so it was pretty shocking. She didn’t seem that into it but she laughed it off.’

Speaking to The Sun, the source added: ‘Everyone was talking about how he was acting.

‘There were loads of women there but he was only interested in Alexandra. They left together in a taxi with a couple of friends when the party was over.’

Jac and Dan had a difficult year after Dan spent the summer in the Celebrity Big Brother house following cheating rumours but the pair appear firmly back on track and recently spent some quality time together on holiday in Dubai.

Dan, 27 and Jacqueline, 26, are parents to Ella, three, and eight-month-old baby Mia, as well as Dan’s son Teddy, four, from his previous relationship with Megan Tomlin, and said that their ‘relationship is better now than it’s ever been’.

‘Since getting back together, it feels like we’re stronger and we appreciate each other so much more,’ he said.

‘Things between us are really good right now, it feels like we’re newlyweds again!’

Fresh from her Oscar success, Lady Gaga’s next acting role could be in CD Projekt’s highly anticipated new sci-fi game.

Millionaire who lent money illegally described in court as 'lifeline' to businesses

Nobody’s announced anything official, but Lady Gaga has apparently been spotted visiting CD Projekt Red’s studios in Poland, with French website ActuGaming claiming that it was to perform a motion capture role for Cyberpunk 2077.

Presumably she’ll also be voicing a character, although there’s no confirmation that she was actually there – let alone why she was paying the makers of The Witcher 3 a visit.

Fans have unearthed a previously unnoticed Twitter conversation between the two, although who knows what, if anything, it means.

CD Projekt has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be at E3 in June but there’s still no clue as to when the game will be released.

It’s been widely assumed that it will be a next gen title, and so won’t be released until at least next year. And certainly, CD Projekt has constantly warned that the game is nowhere near finished yet.

However, a creative agency working on the game was recently spotted advertising their involvement and claiming it’s out this year.

They could easily be confused, as their role seems to be a very minor one, but CD Projekt has always insisted that the game will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well.

So maybe there’ll be a surprise annoucement at E3, or maybe there’ll even be some connection with Google’s planned video game reveal next week…
