Jason Donovan is returning to the cast of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat – and this time he’s Pharaoh
Jason Donovan is heading back to the London stage in a musical that’s very familiar to him – Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The actor will be joining the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical’s latest production as it returns to the London Palladium in the summer for an 11-week season.
Except this time he’s not playing Joseph – the role he stepped into back in 1991 – but rather Pharoah –
He’s joining a cast which already includes Sheridan Smith as the Narrator – and has revealed how delighted he is to be back in the show, albeit in a different capacity.
‘You never know the measure of a moment until it becomes a memory, and what a moment that was for me,’ Donovan said.
‘Joseph was a ground breaker in 1991, and what a blast it will be to be back on the prestigious Palladium stage and be part of it all again with a brand new cast in this re-imagined 2019 production.
‘I’m looking forward to breathing new life into Pharaoh and I’m so relieved he doesn’t have to wear a loin cloth!’
Donovan’s previous stint in the show also won him chart success, as he topped the charts with his version of the musical’s song Any Dream Will Do back in 1991.
But if you want to see him in action, just how can you get tickets?
Here’s the information you need to know.

The season opens on Thursday 27 June and runs until 8 September, although Jason won’t be performing on 13 July.
As well as Monday-Saturday performances there are also two Sunday matinee performances in September on 1st and 8th.
All performances will begin at 7.30pm with matinee performances also on Saturdays starting at 2.30pm.
Ticket prices vary according to show but prices start at £20 for grand circle seats, with the most expensive tickets in the Royal Circle and stalls priced at £150 – with no booking fees via the official website.

It was going to happen eventually. With Idris Elba and Netflix both seemingly on their own set of winning streaks, it was only a matter of time before something would stop them both.
Who knew it would be a can’t-go-wrong-joint venture like Turn Up Charlie?
In the new series, Idris plays Charlie, a down on his luck DJ living with his aunt and remembering the ‘good old days’ of the time he had a semi-successful hit in the mid-90s.
Keen to get back on track, he agrees to a mutually beneficial deal with his famous actor best mate, David (JJ Feild). Charlie looks after David’s brat of a daughter Gabby, and in exchange he gets access to David’s wife’s studio in order to lay down some new material.
The premise is simple and nice enough sounding, but unfortunately that seems to be where the good stops and the troubles begin.
Charged with looking after an unlikable spoiled brat, Charlie’s in over his head (Picture: Netflix)
First things first – no one is actually that likeable, including Charlie. His relationship with Gabby (Frankie Hervey) is meant to come across as strained but they grow to help each other, like an About The Boy with a girl and some DJ decks.
What we get is a bratty kid doing nothing but cause trouble for no other reason other than she thinks she knows best, and in the four out of eight episodes available before air date, there was not a single moment of growth.
Despite having a smaller role, the person with the most sense of actual character is Piper Perabo, who plays famous DJ/Gabby’s mom/David’s long-suffering wife, Sara. That is solely down to Piper’s performance though, and not the writing.
It makes us feel guilty to not want to give a higher grade to a group of actors who clearly have the chops for this show to work, but not the material. That’s what it boils down to.
His la-di-da best mate turns his pal’s poor fortune to his benefit (Picture: Netflix)
Frankie Hervey is a great little actress, but if you’re given the role of insufferable 12-year-old with no personal growth in any way, there’s very little you can do about that.
On top of it all, it’s just not funny. Idris does give the whole ‘I can do family comedy’ thing a pretty good try, but he’s an action man. There’s no shame in that, some people just have their niche. Comedy drama is just not his.
As viewers, we don’t champion any of the characters at all, because there is very little of them to root for. Charlie wants to be a DJ but refuses to adapt to modern technology, then throws his toys out the pram when people move on without him.
Gabby wants her parents to pay attention to her, but has little to nothing to encourage that apart from get in the way, cause trouble that has them send her away, or act like she’s superior despite the fact she’s pre-teen.
Turn Up Charlie gets two stars because it’s watchable in a ‘stick it on in the background’ capacity, and because the actors efforts were at the very least there. It’s a shame the rest of the stuff around it wasn’t quite up to scratch.
Turn Up Charlie is out on Netflix from Friday.

After facing criticism from Madeleine McCann’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, who released a statement saying that the documentary could hinder the police investigation into the disappearance of their daughter, the film has already garnered a great deal of attention.
Madeleine McCann, one of the highest-profile missing persons ever to have captured the world’s attention, disappeared from her family’s hotel room while they were holidaying in Portugal in 2007.
Madeleine was three when she went missing, and the police investigation into her disappearance is still active.
Now, with news breaking that the series claims Madeleine could be ‘alive and was abducted by traffickers’, it’s safe to say that the Netflix docuseries will be an interesting watch, to say the least.
Here’s what you need to know about when and how you can watch the eight-part series…
When can you watch The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann on Netflix?
You can watch The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann from Friday 15 March on Netflix.
As standard, new Netflix releases are usually live by 7 or 8am on the day they come out.
The series, which was originally thought to be lasting just two episodes but has been confirmed as an eight-part series, will combine new interviews with over 40 contributors, 120 hours of interviews, archival news footage, and reenactments.
The show will also air never-before-heard testimonies from some of the people at the centre of the search for Madeleine, including investigators, and the McCann family themselves.
Senior child protection officer Jim Camble says in the film that: ‘There’s huge hope to be had with the advances in technology. Year on year DNA is getting better.
‘Year on year other techniques, including facial recognition, are getting better.
‘And as we use that technology to revisit and review that which we captured in the past, there’s every likelihood that something we already know will slip into position.’
It’s also been suggested that Madeleine’s status as a ‘middle-class British girl’ would have made her a desirable target for human traffickers.
Madeleine’s parents, Gerry and Kate, who were at a restaurant nearby when Madeleine was taken, hired a private investigator, Julian Peribanez, who refutes those claims, saying traffickers actually tend to go for ‘lower class’ children from poorer countries.
Kate and Gerry McCann have been publicly critical of Netflix’s documentary, saying: ‘The production company told us that they were making the documentary and asked us to participate.
‘We did not see and still do not see how this programme will help the search for Madeleine and, particularly given there is an active police investigation, could potentially hinder it.
‘Consequently, our views and preferences are not reflected in the programme. We will not be making any further statements or giving interviews regarding this programme.’
Are you ready for the new Fresh Prince? (Picture: YouTube)
Ever imagined what the Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air would look like in TV’s golden age? Nope, us neither. But someone’s gone and done it anyway so we might as well watch it.
While everyone’s crying for a reboot of the 90s sitcom which probably won’t ever happen, if Will Smith is to be believed, a fan has revised the story of a teenager from West Philadelphia moving in with his Bel-Air aunt and uncle with a 2019 overcoat.
Directed by Morgan Cooper, Bel-Air removes the comedy beats in favour of a gritty drama about police brutality, gun crime, and overcoming adversity.
It’s visually stunning too, and we imagine people would happily watch a full version even without the Bel-Air connection.
There’s even a brief shot of a reimagined Carlton dance at the three minute mark. All audiences are served.
In a post on Twitter, Cooper wrote: ‘Like most 90’s kids, I grew up watching Fresh Prince. Even as a kid, I always thought there was more to the story… so I decided to make this.’
Alfonso Ribeiro, who plays Carlton Banks in the original sitcom, recently expressed how he believes the show will never return following the death of Uncle Phil actor James Avery.
Speaking to People, Alfonso said: ‘I think it’s impossible with James Avery being gone.
‘Do we really want to see Will and Carlton in their 40s and 50s? I think people think they want to see that, but I don’t think people really want to see that.’
God Of War is the clear frontrunner (Picture: Sony)
This year’s nominations for the annual BAFTA Games Awards have been announced, featuring the best titles from the past 12 months.
The clear frontrunner is God Of War, which earned a whopping 10 nominations, including four within the Performer category.
Close behind is Red Dead Redemption II and Return Of The Obra Dinn with six nominations each, while Celeste and Florence earned five nominations.
While God Of War has already become a favourite in other award shows it’s surprising how many nominations it earned within the Performer category – especially considering Red Dead Redemption II only received one for Roger Clark’s portrayal of Arthur Morgan.

The success of VR titles like Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Moss, and Tetris Effect are also represented, along with cardboard trickery in Nintendo Labo.
The winners will be decided by a panel of judges, while EE Mobile Game Of The Year will be determined by a public vote.
You can check out the full list of nominations below, with the ceremony hosted by Dara Ó Briain taking place on Thursday 14 March.
Alicia doesn’t need Instagram for validation (Picture: Getty Images)
Alicia Vikander has claimed there is no joy in social media.
The Tomb Raider actress quit Instagram after one month and has now revealed that she ‘realised early on that social media was not good for me’.
‘I personally didn’t find the joy in it,’ she said.

‘In this industry, you must be willing to throw yourself out there, which I enjoy,’ she added, speaking to Harpers Bazaar.
‘I’m good at hiding all those nerves inside. Something I’ve heard all my life is, “Oh, you seem so tough.” I think one of the main things I do well is to not show that I’m s****ing my pants.’
No Insta for Alicia (Picture: Instagram)
Her decision also inspired Elisabeth Moss, who admitted that she didn’t feel a lack of presence on social media negatively affected an actress’s career.
‘I just have an old-school mindset. Also, girls I look up to, like Jennifer Lawrence, Rooney Mara and Alicia Vikander, don’t have it, and it hasn’t affected their careers remotely,’ said Elisabeth.
‘I’d rather live as private a life as I can. I’m not trying to be a mysterious person, but I’d rather be seen as an actor from job to job,’ she said.
‘I’ve never lived my life trying to be an influencer; I’m happy keeping my own opinions for fun dinner conversation … A lot of the time in my life, I try not to take up space – I just want to disappear into a wall. And then eventually, when I’m around people I feel confident with, I’ll take up more space.’
Dr Pimple Popper has a rival in the running for the grimmest TV show to ever grace our screens as The Toe Bro launches with rotting and fungal feet.
In the latest episode, the podiatrist – real name Dr Jonathan Tomines – has a diabetic patient whose condition of pincer toe nails has left him in near constant pain.
Lloyd Miller went to the clinic in Toronto, Canada, for help after his nails got so bad he was scared to leave the house.
Pincer toenails are pretty much what they look like – with poor blood flow causing them to roll in on themselves, and turning them claw-like.
The painful condition left patient Lloyd in agony (Picture: A&E)
Lloyd had to have the procedure without anasthetic (Picture: A+E)
It also means the skin of the foot is wrinkled, dry and easily cracked, so it’s become difficult for him to walk, but also too painful for him to remove.
‘I’m in constant pain. It’s just horrific,’ he explained. ‘It’s been going on for years.’
To make things worse, Lloyd isn’t able to have an anaesthetic due to his diabetes… so Jonathan has to be very careful as he cuts off the nails.
If it’s half as painful as it is to watch, we dare you not to cringe in your seat (literally, toe-curling. We can’t deal.)
Elsewhere in the episode, a man has to have surgery on his big toe in order to extract a broken piece of barbecue skewer that had got lodged underneath.
A pregnant woman shows another downside of pregnancy as her heels become cracked, and a man with ingrown toenails is left pulling out pus and ‘toe meat’ in an extraction.
If anyone needs us, we’re going to try not to be sick.
The Toe Bro airs Tuesdays at 10pm on A&E.

Marvel has dropped a brand new trailer for Avengers: Endgame and we have even more questions.
Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark appears alongside Captain America, Black Widow and Ant-Man in the trailer – which hints that he will return to Earth after last being seen left for dead, floating in space.
Iron Man is back with the crew – but how did he get back to Earth? (Picture: Marvel)
This new trailer delves a little bit into where Clint was, as we see him teaching a young girl, possibly his daughter, how to shoot a bow and arrow before it cuts to him standing over dead bodies after Thanos’ snap.
Who is Clint teaching how to shoot? (Picture: Marvel)
The movie will close out an 11-year plan by Marvel and Kevin Feige, as one chapter in the MCU comes to an end.
And this is hinted at in epic fashion throughout the trailer, with flashbacks to the past 20-plus movies playing throughout the trailer in black and white, and reflecting how each story has led to this conclusion.
Feige recently found himself teasing what’s to come in the highly anticipated movie, directed by the Russo brothers, and while discussing running times with Digital Spy, he told the publication that the upcoming release is going to be ‘perfect.’
‘We’re gonna release the movie at the exact right running time,’ the 45-year-old stated before adding: ‘I’m telling you this, it’s gonna be perfect. It’s gonna be the exact running time that the movie needs to be.’
Talking about what’s to come, he continued: ‘I think there’s a lot of story in that movie and a lot of characters in that movie.
‘In all seriousness, we don’t look at run times in terms of mandates, or anything like that. Every movie should feel like it’s an hour and 45 minutes.’
And as for why bosses decided not to reveal how the movie was titled Endgame, Kevin told Collider that they thought it would be too much of a spoiler for fans.
While at a Captain Marvel press day, the director said: ‘Well, I think I’d said that it all had gotten blown out of proportion to some extent.
‘But it was a spoiler, because if you knew before Infinity War came out that the next movie was called Endgame, then you know that there wasn’t an ending to Infinity War.’
Avengers: Endgame is in cinemas 26 April.

In the brand new two-minute teaser, Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) has joined her fellow Avengers after Thanos’ deadly snap and makes acquaintances with Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth.
It looks like Captain Marvel has instantly received Thor’s seal of approval as he smiles and remarks: ‘I like this one.’
Sorry to break it to you Thor, but… the feeling might not be mutual.
Elsewhere in the trailer, Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark aka Iron Man makes an appearance, alongside Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Ant-Man, hinting that he’ll make his return to Earth after he was last seen floating in the middle of space, left for dead.
Prepare for heartbreak though as the trailer also shows scenes of funerals so Thanos’ snap definitely didn’t end well for some of our beloved superheroes.

‘Are there any hidden clues in the latest Avengers question that no one has figured out yet?’ was the second question, to which Mark replied: ‘Not that I am aware of.’
Turns out that is a lie.
And ‘do Bruce Banner and Black Widow finally get together romantically in the new movie?’ leading to Mark uncontrollably laughing and saying he couldn’t answer.
Yep, another lie.
Fortunately, the wait is almost over as Avengers: Endgame arrives in UK cinemas on 26 April.

No matter what situation James May finds himself in – he can never resist the opportunity to poke fun at the rest of his Grand Tour mates.
That’s never more evident than on tonight’s episode of Al Murray’s Great British Pub Quiz – when he shoots his shot over everyone’s favourite short joke, Richard Hammond.
Becoming the celebrity quizzer of the week in the group called The Village, he is tasked to take on a new identity with some costumes from Al’s assistant, Shaun Williamson (aka Barry from Eastenders).
James May looked fetching in his sailor outfit (Picture: Quest)
James dons a sailor hat and wig, and grabs a telescope as his three quizzing pals join in.
Peering through magnifier and putting on a pose, James quipped: ‘I know what that is! That’s something to make Richard Hammond look the same size as everybody else!’
Poor Hamster – he’s never going to be able to live the height jabs down really.
For those interested, Jeremy is the tallest of the trio at 6ft 5in, James is next at 6ft, with Richard coming up head and shoulders below Jezza at 5ft 7in.
Richard, who is 5ft 7in, is often mocked by Jeremy (6ft 5in) and James (6ft)
James will be fronting the quiz team versus the Pub team, led by Mock the Week star Andy Parsons in this week’s challenges.
Hosting from his studio pub, landlord Al Murray will bring together teams from the country’s best-loved pubs from all over the UK for the chance to take home the Great British Pub Quiz tankard plus £1,000 in cash.
Shaun, who himself was a quizmaster at one point in his life, will be on hand to keep score and proceedings in order.
He’ll then put The Chasers to shame in the show’s final round, Beat the Barman.
Al Murray’s Great British Pub Quiz airs tonight at 10pm exclusively on Quest.

Paul Hollywood’s ex-wife Alex is reportedly set to replace her former husband alongside Mary Berry at the BBC’s Good Food Show.
Alex, who broke up with Paul after almost 20 years of marriage, has been tipped as his replacement when the annual event reaches the Birmingham NEC in June – with a BBC spokesperson saying the Bake Off stalwart ‘is away for the dates of this year’s summer show’ but has not been fired.
The couple went their separate ways in 2017, with Paul now in a relationship with 23-year-old Summer Monteys-Fulham.
Here’s what you need to know about Alex and her marriage to Paul.
How old is Alex Hollywood and when did she marry Paul Hollywood?
Alex, 54 – who is a chef and family food writer – was born on 11 May 1964, making her two years older than Paul.

She and Paul met back in 1996 while working at a five-star hotel in Cyprus, getting engaged just weeks later.
The couple married in 1998 and are parents to a teenage son.
They said at the time in a statement: ‘It is with sadness that we have decided to separate.
‘Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son, and we would ask the press and public to allow us privacy as a family during this very difficult time.’

Paul and Alex previously separated in 2013 after Hollywood admitted to an affair with Marcella Valladolid, his co-host on the short-lived US version of Bake Off.
The couple eventually reconciled, with the baker later describing the incident as ‘the biggest mistake of my life’.

Kylie Jenner believes daughter Stormi chose her own name (Picture: Kylie Jenner / Instagram)
Kylie Jenner has opened up on where the idea to call her daughter Stormi came from.
Despite having picked out two names for the tot, the beauty mogul believes her little one chose Stormi – so she rolled with it.
Because, babies have the power to name themselves these days.
When chatting to her fans on an Instagram live feed, the reality star spoke about the moniker and even revealed that the one-year-old could have been a Rose.
She said: ‘I felt it the whole time. Yeah, I feel like she chose her own name. Pretty much.
‘I looked up names, and I saw Storm, and I really liked that. But I wanted her to have an “ie” at the end of her name like me, Kylie and Stormie.’
She could have been called Rose (Picture: @KylieJenner)
She added: ‘So it was that at first, and I would just call her – when I was pregnant, I used to call her Stormi when I would talk to her in my belly. And it just always felt right.’
Beaming into the camera, Kylie continued: ‘I had one more name that I liked – I had two names that I honestly liked better than Stormi but when I had her, I felt like she chose her own name.
‘And I just couldn’t imagine any other name other than Stormi, so yeah.’
Not wanting to reveal too much about other names she’d chosen for her girl, because you know – she might have another one yet – the self-made billionaire confessed Stormi could have ended up being called Rose.
She recently praised her little one on International Women’s Day (Picture: Kylie Jenner / Instagram)
She added: ‘One name I will tell you guys, because I don’t think I’m ever going to name my daughter this [another daughter], but I wanted to name her Rose.
‘I really liked that name. Shout out to everyone named Rose.’
The mother-of-one recently paid homage to her little on on International Women’s Day, where she revealed Stormi was her motivation.
Writing to her 129million followers, the 21-year-old praised her little one as she wrote: ‘This little girl motivates me every day to become the best woman I can be. #InternationalWomensDay.’
Kylie has recently been named the youngest ever self-made billionaire, after Forbes valued her beauty line Kylie Cosmetics at $900million (£686million).
Chatting about her success, the star told the publication: ‘I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.’

It’s now 10 years since Left 4 Dead 2 first came out and despite rumours Valve has never given any indication that they’re working on a new sequel, so thank goodness Turtle Rock Studios are teaming up with Warner Bros. for Back 4 Blood.
The annoucement is slightly odd in that there’s no videos, screenshots, or even a bit of artwork. But we suppose if you know Left 4 Dead you know what to expect.
‘We are thrilled to partner with the proven Turtle Rock Studios team on Back 4 Blood to advance the co-op zombie genre forward with innovative multiplayer gameplay,’ says Warner’s David Haddad.
‘The talented team at Turtle Rock has been developing amazing games together for a long time, and this is a great opportunity to work with them to create a new gaming universe built specifically with the large co-op zombie shooter community in mind.’
A FAQ on Turtle Rock’s website add a few extra details, promising the game will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and that ‘more possibilities aren’t out of the question’ – which may hint at a next gen release.
It’s also stated that it’s a ‘premium, AAA title’, which seems to mean it won’t be free-to-play, although microtransactions are not being ruled out.
There’s no release date but the FAQ also confirms the game is not battle royale, that there will be PvP, and there will be a campaign.
A good guess is that the game will be announced properly at E3 in June, although it could also turn up during whatever Google is announcing next week.
Katie Holmes enjoys quality time with daughter Suri (Picture: Splash)
Jamie Foxx sparked rumours that he’d split from Katie Holmes after he randomly revealed he was single.
And while reports claim the 51-year-old has been spotted moving on with a ‘mysterious girl,’ it seems Katie is all wrapped up in spending quality time with her daughter Suri.
The mother-of-one appeared to be in high spirits as she was spotted out with the 12-year-old on the streets of New York.
Wrapping up warm, the pair engaged in conversation as they enjoyed their stroll together.
Suri could be see wearing a Dolce and Gabbana coat while her mum rocked an all over denim look.
As well as this, the publication claimed that Katie’s daughter will be stepping in as her maid of honour.

‘Suri is Katie’s best friend,’ an insider told the magazine.
‘So while it may seem unconventional to make her daughter maid of honour, she said it was most fitting to have her by her side when she ties the knot.’
They went on to say that the rumoured ceremony will ‘be one of the biggest showbiz bashes of the year.’
Prior to these claims, Katie was spotted wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
However, a rep denied the pair were getting hitched, previously telling Metro.co.uk: ‘Katie is not engaged to anyone besides her fictional movie fiance, played by Jerry O’Connell in her upcoming film, The Secret.’

Beyonce ‘won’t hand over personal texts to wedding planner’ in trademark battle (Picture: Getty Images)
Beyonce has currently found herself wrapped up in a trademark battle over the name of her daughter Blue Ivy.
Last year, wedding planner Veronica Morales reportedly asked the star to pay a whopping $10million in order to gain rights to use the name.
And it looks as though the business woman is not backing down, as according to The Blast, she’s just gone and requested that Queen Bey hands over private communications between both her husband Jay-Z and her mother Tina Knowles.
In documents obtained by the publication, Veronica has asked the singer to provide a list of documents showing her plans to use the name, as well as evidence she wanted to trademark it.
It’s said that she also wants to see any conversations between the trio about them knowing of her brand before their now seven-year-old daughter was born.
Reports have claimed that the 37-year-old Crazy In Love songstress has refused to hand over the documents, and is now seeking a protective order.

Back in 2017, Veronica opposed Beyonce’s bid to trademark Blue Ivy’s name.
Since then, she has attempted to sell the rights for $10million to the global superstar.
Beyonce and her hubby share Blue Ivy as well as their year old twins Sir and Rumi.
After the birth of her little ones, the proud parents quickly trademarked their names, including fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, baby teething rings, strollers, mugs, water bottles, hair ribbons, playing cards, tote bags, sports balls, rattles and novelty items.

But while the stars are battling legal documents, it seems they are smashing it in their professional lives, as it’s just been revealed the pair will receive a special award at the GLAAD Media Awards.
The power couple has been chosen to receive the Vanguard Award at the Los Angeles ceremony on March 28 in recognition of their LGBTQ allyship.
‘Beyonce and Jay-Z are global icons and passionate defenders of human rights and acceptance for all people,’ said GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis in a statement.
‘When Beyonce and Jay-Z speak, the world becomes inspired and when it comes to LGBTQ people, their voices of acceptance have been heard loud and clear.
‘We could not be prouder to stand with them to send a message of love during the biggest LGBTQ event in the world and to honour their work to bend the arc of justice forward for LGBTQ people, people of colour, and marginalised communities everywhere.’
Metro.co.uk have reached out to Beyonce’s reps for further comment.

DICE has confirmed Battlefield V’s battle royale mode Firestorm will be released in two weeks’ time, and will be free to all players.
The developer has announced the mode’s release date as Monday, 25 March in a new trailer, which shows off a highly destructible environment and warfare in helicopters, boats, tanks, and tractors.
The shrinking play field customary to all battle royale modes is portrayed as an actual ring of fire, which looks a lot more cinematic than in any similar game.
Firestorm, which boasts 64 players at once, allows you to jump into the fray solo or as part of a squad. You can also unlock stronger vehicles with ‘breakouts’ across the map.
While typical battle royale games feature 100 players, DICE seem to be counting on the destruction effects and larger number of vehicles to make up for the lack of combatants.
Ironically, while the game will have been designed with PUBG, Fortnite, and Black Ops 4’s Blackout in mind the game’s closest rival may turn out to be EA’s own Apex Legends.
The new mode will be hoping to create a second wave of interest for Battlefield V, after EA previously admitted that sales missed their targets.
The trailer is not the one that leaked last week, which seems to be more of a tutorial video and for some reason is still live on EA’s servers.
Sorry BTS Army, Blackpink are still reigning on YouTube (Picture: Getty, Billboard)
It appears Blackpink are still the reigning K-pop band, at least on YouTube, as the girl group are holding their crown as the most-watched South Korean band on the platform ahead of BTS.
Well, the visuals still haven’t waned in popularity and Blackpink are holding onto their crown, with Ddu-du Ddu-du reaching over 707 million plays on YouTube. BTS are trailing just slightly behind with DNA amassing 666.5 million views.
YouTube updated their chart last week and reveal that Psy is still the reigning champ overall with his Gangnam Style video number one, amassing over 3.3 billion views since it was released in 2012.
The music video for Psy’s 2013 single, Gentleman, is in second place with 1.2 billion views.
The K-pop legend also claims the third place with the visuals for his Hyuna collaboration notching up almost 734 million views since 2012.
At number four is Blackpink and Ddu-du Ddu-du while BTS’ DNA rounds off the top five.

There we were, minding our own business on a Thursday afternoon, and they go and drop a surprise new Avengers: Endgame trailer, thus rendering our productivity useless for the rest of the day.
Thanks, Russo Brothers.
The new trailer introduces Captain Marvel to the Avengers, sees Tony Stark back on earth, and basically foreshadows a whole lot of gloom thanks to those shots of funerals and general malaise.
But with every new trailer comes a heap of new theories – and the internet has been busy.
Is Tony Stark actually back on earth?
The first Endgame trailer saw Tony stranded in space with Nebula, rapidly running out of oxygen and already having fun out of food and water, so things were looking pretty bleak for our hero.
However, the new spot shows Tony and Nebula back at Avengers HQ with the rest of the surviving heroes.
There he is! (Picture: Marvel)
But is it legit? We all know how the trailers can lie – the Infinity War trailer showed that amazing scene with the Hulk running through Wakanda, but then the film came, and Bruce Banner doesn’t hulk out once. So maybe, just maybe, this is all something to get our hopes up.
Although we don’t expect Tony to die anti-climatically in space, so the real interest will come from how he is rescued.
Quantum Realm theory confirmed?
One of the biggest theories from Marvel fans is that Ant-Man and the Quantum Realm will be the keys to the dusted Avengers returning after the snap.
And the badass shot of all the Avengers walking through the hangar seems to prove that, as the suits worn by the gang look very similar to those worn by Hank Pym and co while travelling into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and The Wasp.
It looks like time travel will play a huge part in Endgame – and the gang will look fly AF while doing it.
Tony and Nebula were airbrushed out of the Super Bowl spot
When the Avengers Super Bowl ad dropped, people instantly noticed that the gap between Rhodey and Bruce was way too big – leading to speculation that a character had been airbrushed out.
It looks like it wasn’t actually Carol Danvers, but two Avengers – Tony and Nebula, who have apparently returned to earth.
Natasha’s hair = time jump or alternate realities
Unless there’s a lot of time for home dyeing post-snap, Natasha’s hair in the trailer hints at either big time jumps, or an alternate reality.
Either are entirely plausible, because Avengers.
Natasha sports red hair in several scenes (Picture: Marvel)
That’s a very different look (Picture: Marvel)
Throughout the trailer, Natasha’s hair turns from red, to red and blonde ombre, to blonde and short – so this film most definitely won’t be played out in traditonal chronological order.
Will Thanos attack Avengers HQ?
A preview of one of the Endgame LEGO sets showed Avengers headquarters in the background, implying that a battle could be on home turf – and although Joe and Anthony Russo suggested that toys aren’t a credible source of narrative, the trailer also backs up the idea that Thanos could attack the Avengers at their compound.
A lot of the trailers so far centre around Avengers HQ – so Thanos could make things even more personal.
Will the heroes return from the dust?
One of our main theories is that all the Avengers dusted in Thanos’s snap will return from the dust – and the logo at the end of the trailer could confirm that.
We’re suspicious (Picture: Marvel)
Doesn’t the Avengers logo look like it’s being formed and made whole from dust?
No? Just us?
Captain America is almost certainly going to die
For the past two Avengers movies (Age Of Ultron and Infinity War), billing on the poster has gone as follows: Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson.
Poor Chris (Picture: Marvel)
Chris Evans has been steadily fourth – but on the new poster, the billing is Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson.
Why else would he flip to second billing if it weren’t his final Marvel adventure?
Poor, sweet Cap.
Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas on 26 April.

Cheat viewers didn’t formally complain about a masturbation scene involving Katherine Kelly’s character Leah (Picture: ITV)
Cheat viewers weren’t too bothered about the masturbation scene in the first few minutes of episode one.
There might have been plenty of buzz on Twitter about it, but Ofcom didn’t receive a single complaint over Leah’s private moment in the ladies’ toilet.
However the watchdog did receive one complaint about the scene involving Leah and Adam’s cat Betsy.
In the first episode the couple found their cat dead at the side of the road, with Leah accusing her nemesis Rose of killing her.
Ofcom told Metro.co.uk: ‘We are assessing this complaint against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.’
Star Katherine Kelly, who plays Leah, said she wasn’t uncomfortable with the masturbation scene, in which her character fantasises about a male colleague.
‘I have done sex scenes a lot before, I had my fair share of them in Mr Selfridge. I have had two children and after childbirth, you are not embarrassed by anything,’ the actress told The Sun.
Katherine added that ‘women masturbate as much as men’, and explained it was a way for Leah to release her ‘frustrations’ surrounding her marriage.
According to Broadcast, the launch episode fetched 5million viewers, making it ITV’s second most-watched Monday night drama after Manhunt, starring Martin Clunes, in January which saw 6million tune in.
Cheat’s penultimate episode, which aired on Wednesday night, was watched by a peak audience of 4.1million, with nearly a million people catching up on episode two.

The thriller focuses on lecturer Leah and young student Rose (Molly Windsor) who go head to head after Leah accuses Rose of cheating on an essay.
Episode three saw Rose’s motivations come to light when Leah’s dad revealed Rose is actually his daughter from an affair years ago, making her Leah’s half-sister.

Is Sansa Stark The Night King’s target in Game of Thrones season 8? (Picture: HBO)
It’s a miracle Sansa Stark is still standing in Game of Thrones when so many poignant, loved, and hated warriors have fallen before her.
But here we are, she’s sulking over Winterfell and if the season eight teaser, which saw Daenerys Targaryen’s arrival in The North is anything to go by she doesn’t cheer up at all when we meet her next.
So why is Sansa (played by Sophie Turner) still there? With the absence of Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) there’s very little about the former Lady Lannister’s next chapter to get excited about – unless, of course, she’s been the most important cog in Westeros all along and actually we’re going to be talking about her swansong for the rest of our dying days.
Our newfound anticipation for Sansa comes after Vladimir Furdik, who stars as The Night King, finally shed light on what’s really going on behind those illuminated eyes and revealed the leader of the army of the dead does have a motive.
The Slovakian-born actor speaks publicly as much as The Night King does on screen, so it was a real treat when he told Entertainment Weekly: ‘People will see he has a target he wants to kill and you will find out who that is.’
So is the epic battle between the living and the dead actually one big decoy to distract Sansa’s protectors and leave her vulnerable in House Stark?
Reddit user u/Anebbtus also notes that in the books of George RR Martin, the Night King is also married to a women ‘who appeared to be a white walker and was supposedly a Stark’.
They’ve kept Sansa alive for reasons unknown to us, unless she is basically the course of season eight, in which case we take it all back and can’t wait to binge on six weeks of Lady Stark.
Who do you think is The Night King’s target? Arya? Jon? Daenerys? A Burger King?
Thankfully, as of today, there is exactly one month to go until Game of Thrones returns to Sky Atlantic and HBO on April 14. The countdown has begun.
