Sport Relief is returning for another exciting fundraising event which will see celebrities and members of the public team together in the name of charity.
The fundraising campaign channels the power of sport to raise money and change lives at home and around the world.
This year’s event will see famous faces partake in some gruelling challenges, all in the name of charity.
They may have spent weeks preparing for their icy -35c challenge on Lake Khövsgöl in Mongolia⦠But imagine our celebsâ shock and surprise when we told them that weâd be sending them to the sweltering hot +35c Namib desert in Namibia instead! #TheHeatIsOnhttps://t.co/4frw32TDGdpic.twitter.com/nwzqZg5jTy
Together they will trek and cycle arduous miles across the Namib desert towards the Skeleton Coast.
When is Sport Relief 2020?
Sport Relief 2020 will take place from Monday March 9 – Friday March 13.
The event is organised by charity Comic Relief, who are also responsible for campaign Red Nose Day.
The two fundraising events alternate on a yearly basis, so while this year we’ll be celebrating Sport Relief, 2021 will see the return of Red Nose Day.
So fresh-faced yesterday… Right before they actually started cycling! While 35 miles doesn’t sound like much if you’re a keen road cyclist, riding fat bikes across scorching hot sand is much MUCH more difficultð²
Sport Relief works with a number of charities in the UK and globally to raise money for a number of causes.
This year, these include: improving mental health support, tackling homelessness, helping disadvantaged children to survive and thrive, and reducing fear, violence and discrimination.
Producer Al Jean told Slash Film: ‘[It’s] in the very, very early stages. We would love to do one for Disney but it’s not like it’s happening next week or next year.
‘At D23 Matt [Groening] said, “I think it’s gonna happen” and I agree with that. So I agree with that statement. I believe it will happen.’
When asked whether a sequel would be easier to write, Al added: ‘It’s never easier, this I’m sure of. We would only do it if it was an idea that we thought deserved being made into another movie.
The original Simpsons Movie was a huge commercial success (Picture: Rex Features)
Al also confirmed that any follow up to the Simpsons Movie would be a standalone story rather than a sequel to the first one.
The 2007 movie made an enormous $527.1 million (£405.3 million) at the global box office, and even featured cameos from Green Day and Tom Hanks alongside the usual voice cast.
First rumours of a potential sequel began in 2014, when James L. Brooks revealed that Fox had approached him for a sequel, but said: ‘We’ve been asked to [develop it], but we haven’t. We’re doing a lot of other stuff.’
In August 2018 it was reported that a sequel was in development, though as of 2020, there hasn’t been much movement on getting a storyline nailed down or production underway.

It seems a little victory dance is to be had, as Keith Lemon addressed the counterfeit Caroline Flack #BeKind t-shirts circulating – cracking down on each fake seller, he says he’s managed to get an eBay site to take down the goods in question.
And better still, all profits the counterfeit seller had made will be sent to Samaritans, where all proceeds from the sale of Keith’s clothes will be sent.
The Celebrity Juice host launched a line of tees with ‘Be Kind’ printed on the front to crackdown on social media trolls after Caroline died by suicide at the age of 40 on 15 February.
While Keith’s tees have been selling fast with proceeds going towards mental health charity Samaritans, he was upset to learn that people have been selling allegedly ‘fake’ versions of the tops on various websites, possibly depriving Samaritans of the donations.
Now, in a video uploaded on Monday afternoon, Keith said he’d managed to get the person to take down the fake t-shirts in a positive and victorious moment.
‘This is the last post I’m going to do about this subject,’ he said on Instagram. ‘Whist I’ve been on a mission to stop all these counterfeit people pocketing the money themselves, the eBay guy that was selling the KIL clothes #BeKind t-shirt has said he’s taken it down and any profits he’s made he’s going to send to Samaritans.’
The t-shirt was designed by Keith from an old photoshoot of Caroline (Picture: keithlemon)
He added: ‘Let’s hope he’s telling the truth.’
Saying he was now going to focus on uploading silly content, his usual, Keith continued: ‘That’s it. Just a shame that people are trying to make some money out of what’s happened.
‘Right, all my posts from now on will be as silly and stupid as ever.’
Reacting to the t-shirts being sold on other sites, Rachell told us: ‘Keith is doing a lovely thing here and it is great that 100% of the profits are going to Samaritans. As for any other companies selling a version of this commercially please respectfully stop.’
Caroline was found dead at her London home on Saturday, 15 February (Picture; ITV2)
Keith, 46, had been close friends with Caroline after working together on the sketch show Bo Selecta in 2002.
Following her tragic death, the TV star also revealed his initial plans to honour Caroline with a festival after one of his Twitter followers suggested the ‘great’ idea.
‘I don’t know how it would work or what I could do? But then I thought what can I do? Well ya know I do t-shirts? I do t-shirts,’ Keith tweeted at the time. ‘I thought the least I can do is draw her a t-shirt where all the proceeds go to mental health. So I’ve done this. I’ll let you know when a where you can get one as soon as it’s available. #bekind [sic]’
The design features a black and white picture of Caroline, and the words ‘be kind!’, the slogan which has become synonymous for since taking her own life earlier this month.
Holly Hagan reveals she reached out to Love Island stars and their families to offer support (Picture: Rex/Backgrid)
Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei know all too well what fame can bring when you’ve starred on a reality TV show and their warning this year’s Love Island stars not to get sucked in.
For this year’s islanders, they headed into the South African villa still relatively unknown to the world, but they’ve emerged with a new found following, millions of fans hooked on their social media and more in-demand than they could ever imagine.
A new life in the limelight is pretty much thrown upon them before they’ve even blinked, but it’s also taken away just as quickly, thanks to Love Island churning out new contestants every year.
Knowing all too well how important support and your ‘day ones’ can be when it comes to keeping you grounded, Holly exclusively told Metro.co.uk that she’s already reached out to some of this year’s Love Island contestants and their families to offer her support.
She said: ‘I’ve already messaged a couple of them and their families to offer support because it’s so important… They are launched into a very dangerous position of fame. To go from nothing to that.’
Speaking of her own experience on MTV reality show Geordie Shore, Holly said: ‘We slowly climbed up a little ladder, but we have longevity. They don’t… as soon as the new islanders come in, that’s it.’
Love Island 2020 saw Paige Turley and Finn Tapp crowned as winners (Picture: Rex)
Holly and Sophie Kasaei want to warn the Love Island stars about life in the limelight (Picture: Instagram)
Sophie added that it took awhile for Geordie Shore to really get off the ground, so she and the cast ‘grew into the limelight’ rather than simply being ‘thrown in’.
Offering advice to the Love Island class of 2020, she’s telling the islanders to ‘stick together’, while Holly says: ‘They’ve just got to be themselves no matter what and stick to the people you knew before fame. Your friends and family.’
‘You need your day ones,’ Sophie agreed. ‘That keeps you real.’
With social media now taking over, those in the public eye not only find themselves with immediate online support, but sadly open to vile trolling too.
Holly is hoping to raise awareness of the impact trolling can really have – something she’s had to endure over the years and is now fighting against.
Holly says it’s important for the islanders to stay grounded despite new found fame (Picture: Rex)
Sophie says that the islanders, like Luke Mabbott, Demi Jones, Jess Gale and Ched Uzor (above), need to ‘stick with each other’ (Picture: Rex)
Fans will see her tackle trolling in the new series of Geordie OGs and revealing just how bad things got at the start of her reality career, Holly said: ‘We went through so much on Geordie Shore, out of all the reality TV shows, we did get it the worst.’
She explained: ‘I didn’t really leave the house for two years, I wouldn’t go and get my nails done by myself because I was terrified of people saying things to me in the street.
‘I’ve had bottles thrown at me. We’ve been through a hell of a lot… I didn’t really have a choice but to cope, you just have to get on with life.
Sophie joins the new season of Geordie OGs where she reunites with Holly, Gaz Beadle, Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers (Picture: MTV)
‘You’ve just got to keep going and empathise with [the trolls]. No happy, confident person would ever be doing this to another person.’
Do the girls miss Geordie Shore? ‘Not at all,’ Holly replies.
‘We did it for such a long time, it would be really hard for me to turn around and say I miss it because I’m so happy with where my life is going right now,’ she said.
Sophie added: ‘I don’t miss it, but I miss the old days. I miss us all being in there together.’
It’s a far cry from their days of getting mortal and tashin’ on in the toon, as the series follows Holly as she plans her wedding, Sophie as she deals with a break up and moves out on her own and Gaz, Marnie and Aaron trying their hands at parenting.
Geordie OGs premieres on Wednesday 26 February at 9pm on MTV.

Cary Joji Fukunaga has dished the details on Daniel Craig’s final run as James Bond, as he revealed No Time To Die will be a culmination of all Bond has become in the franchise.
That’s a lot of ground to cover there, Cary.
In a fresh clip ahead of the film’s anticipated 2 April release in the UK, Cary has shared his insight into what this film will cover and according to the director, the final outing for Daniel in the lead role promises ‘everything that was left unsaid will finally be said’.
Well then, sign us up.
‘For me as a writer and a director, it was essential to rediscover Bond. Where is he? After five years of retirement, who has he become?’ Cary said in a featurette released today.
He continued of the film, co-written by Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge: ‘He is sort of a wounded animal, struggling with his role as a 00. The world has changed, the rules of engagement aren’t what they used to be, the rules of espionage are darker in this era of asymmetric warfare.
Cary has directed Daniel Craig’s final run as James Bond (Picture: WireImage)
‘The people close to Bond, those he considers to be family, are at great risk and now there is someone new out there, more dangerous than anyone he has ever encountered, and whoever they are is smarter and stronger than Spectre.
‘From the moment he’s called to action to the end of the film is a race, not only to save the world but their lives.
‘No Time To Die is a culmination of all that Bond has become, it’s all that he’s seen, all the trauma, the loss.
‘What is that mission, that will be his most challenging and his most difficult? That was our target. We aim to do something extraordinary with this one.
‘Every Bond film has that thing, the danger but also the emotional punch. Everything that was left unsaid will finally be said. This will be the final chapter for Daniel Craig.’
Bring us No Time To Die immediately (Picture: Universal)
Lashana and Daniel sure look good (Picture: Universal Pictures)
No Time To Die will see us catching up with Bond five years after leaving active service, chilling in Jamaica.
Of course that is ruined quick smart when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help.
A mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading to a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology – oh hey Rami Malek.
The clip shows behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the film, including a look at Rami as villainous Safin, Lea Seydoux returning as Madeleine Swann, Lashana Lynch as the new OO Nomi and Ana De Armas as Paloma having way too much fun firing her machine gun.
The moody ballad was written by Billie and her older brother Finneas, who also produced it. The duo are the sole writers and producers of all of the 18-year-old’s songs, including smash hit single Bad Guy.
No Time To Die is in cinemas 2 April.

Kit Harington headed out with wife Rose Leslie in Paris (Picture: Backgrid)
Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington kept his head down as he headed out in Paris, with wife Rose Leslie.
The couple are thought to be in the French capital to take in Fashion Week, alongside some of the biggest models in the world.
Not too shabby.
But it doesn’t seem as though the weather was quite up to par, with the Jon Snow actor, 33, covering up against the cold with an overcoat, as well as dark jeans and a black jumper.
While 33-year-old Rose – who starred alongside her husband as Ygritte – went for a more colourful look, in a long pea-green coat with orange detailing and navy sleeves.
Jon’s appearance comes amid his latest filming stint for Marvel’s Eternals, which is about as far away from Westeros as you can possibly get.

The actor will be starring as Dane (aka Black Knight) in the upcoming film, with Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayak, as well as former co-star Richard Madden.
The Eternals will be the ‘most epic’ Marvel movie yet, according to Kumail (Picture: Getty)
While we’re already buzzing for the movie, Kumail Nanjiani upped the excitement levels up tenfold when he teased that it will be the ‘most epic’ Marvel instalment yet.
Yes, seriously – count us in.
In a chat with Entertainment Weekly, he said: ‘It’s really such a science-fiction story.
‘It’s a superhero story, but in some ways, it’s the most sci-fi of all the Marvel movies and it’s the most epic of all the Marvel movies.
‘And the story spans thousands of years.’
The Eternals is expected to be released later this year.

Rosanna Arquette joined the Silence Breakers for a press conference following Harvey Weinstein’s conviction (Picture: Getty)
Rosanna Arquette has praised the conviction of disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein.
The 67-year-old went on trial in early January facing five charges of rape and sexual assault, all of which he pleaded not guilty to.
A jury of seven men and five women found Weinstein guilty of two of the five charges on the fifth day of deliberations.
Actress Arquette joined the group of women known as the Silence Breakers – for speaking out about their experiences of rape and assault – in Los Angeles for a press conference where they gave their thoughts about the verdict.
She said at the podium: ‘Today is a landmark moment, the public is seeing that even a man as powerful as Weinstein will be held accountable.
‘It’s a historic leap for the Me Too movement that Tarana Burke began in 2006.

‘If we dare to speak there is a far greater chance we will be heard and our abusers punished.’
The Pulp Fiction star continued: ‘ It is a historic shift that I never thought I would see as a woman and as an actress in Hollywood.
‘We speak to you as women who work and I want to be clear that we’re here to hold space for all women, children and men, for the brave women who testified and the more than 100 women who have spoken of their traumatic experiences with Weinstein to date.
‘I also stand with those that have had to remain silent for whatever reason. It is difficult if not impossible for poor women, women of colour, disabled and trans women.
‘Justice has prevailed today and we hope we will see more of it.’

Poor Nick has been advised to rest after suffering from heat exhaustion (Photo by Leo Francis/Comic Relief via Getty Images)
Nick Grimshaw was forced to pull out of a Sports Relief challenge across the Namib Desert on Monday due to heat exhaustion.
It follows after the BBC had to scrap its initial plans of sending the celebs out to embark on a 100-mile trek across Mongolia amid fears of the Coronavirus.
The Radio 1 DJ is said to be ‘gutted’ not to be taking part in the 35-mile cycle challenge with the rest of the team but after taking the medical team’s advice he explained his ‘body needs to recover’.
The 35-year-old got pulled by the medic just two kilometers from the finish line.
Following further advice and orders from the support team on the ground, it was announced that Nick would also not be taking part today (Tuesday).
‘I’m absolutely gutted not to be with the team today. I was mentally prepared for it but the medical team has decided I need to miss today,’ he began.

‘I got pulled by the medic just 2k from the finish line and treated for heat exhaustion. I’d been drinking, eating, resting regularly but it came on so quickly.
‘I feel much better today and I’ll be fine but they have advised that my body needs to recover so I can re-join the challenge tomorrow.’
The rest of the team – Frankie Bridge, Karim Zeroual, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Louise Minchin, Rob Rinder, and Samantha Womack – trekked on foot through the desert for more than eight hours, where they battled temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius.

The team is doing this for Sport Relief, to help break down the stigma of mental health and raise money for mental health services.
One in four people will be affected by a mental health problem in their lifetime, and each of these adventurers feels passionate about speaking up and taking on the elements to crush the stigma surrounding this issue.
It’s safe to say that the celebrities are struggling with the heat as Frankie exclaimed that Monday was the ‘hardest day’ of her life.
‘…It turns out I’m no good at cycling. Everything is dead out here – we haven’t seen anything alive apart from beetles. I’ve got massive blisters on my feet and the medic had to burst them all and wrap my feet up before we set out to walk 24 miles today,’ she began.
Frankie Bridge revealed Monday was the ‘worst day of her life’ (Photo by Leo Francis/Comic Relief via Getty Images)
‘We can’t see Rob most of the time. He is on his own journey. Everyone else is suffering and Rob is just loving his life. I spent hours in the desert alone yesterday and mentally it really held me back so much so I don’t want anyone to be alone. Ever! Louise is my benchmark, and when she fell off her bike in the sand after 30 seconds I thought, “well I have no hope in this situation.”’
She continued: ‘Sam has kept me going, we stuck together and we took it at our own pace and that’s what we learned yesterday. It’s not about being super fast, it’s about getting to the end and doing it together.’

Before departing this morning, Louise Minchin said: ‘We did have pancakes this morning you’ll be pleased to hear! When I fell over on the sand yesterday I screamed because it burned me, that’s how hot it was.
‘I know people at home are supporting us and that’s what keeps us going. Yesterday was a really tough day. When I pushed my bike over that final sand dune and I saw Rob, who had been there for quite a while by the way, I felt such a sense of relief to have made it to the first camp.’
Karim Zeroual rests on his bike on Day 1 of the Sport Relief challenge as it’s clear to see the heat is getting to him (Photo by Leo Francis/Comic Relief via Getty Images)
Over four days, from Monday to Thursday this week, the team will attempt to cross the Namib Desert in Namibia by foot, bike and ski (on sand) to reach the Eduard Bohlen shipwreck on the notorious Skeleton Coast.
Guided by their own navigation skills, they are facing exhausting days in the blistering sun as they take on the highest sand dunes on earth and encounter deadly desert wildlife as they cross the world’s oldest desert – all in temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius.
An hour-long documentary will chart the highs and lows (both physical and emotional) of the team as they tackle the world’s highest sand dunes for Sport Relief. It will be shown on BBC One during the week of 9 March.
BBC Breakfast, The One Show and BBC Radio 5Live will all be will be tracking the team’s progress next week. Each day they will follow the group’s ups and downs as they tackle this 100-mile desert challenge of a lifetime, with footage straight from Namibia and daily catch ups as the team take on this epic adventure.
Karim added: ‘It was brutal yesterday. So much harder than I could have ever imagined. I may be the youngest but that doesn’t mean I’m fit. I was determined to make it over the finish line even if I crawled over on my hands and knees – which I practically did.’
Krishnan went on to explain that there were times he was ‘genuinely scared’.
He commented: ‘The heat and terrain are brutal. I had the added challenge of learning a new skill. At least today is walking, which I know I can do but I’m told it’s going to be even hotter today than yesterday if that’s even possible.’
Sport Relief is back on Friday 13 March.

Marnie Simpson definitely wants more kids, but wants to avoid a natural birth if she can
Marnie Simpson gave birth to baby boy Rox four months ago and while she’s already decided she wants more kids, she’s keen to avoid having another natural birth if she can.
The reality star endured a difficult 28-hour labour that she’s since described as ‘traumatic’, after she lost two pints of blood, had two blood transfusions and has since been suffering from a chronic bladder infection.
And while it hasn’t put her off expanding her brood with boyfriend Casey Johnson, it has got her thinking about other options when it comes to the baby’s delivery.
‘I’m never doing that again, it was really bad. I was so poorly.’
Marnie’s pregnancy right up until the moment she gives birth has been documented in season two of MTV’s Geordie OGs, which sees the cameras follow the lives of some of the original cast of Geordie Shore.
Marnie’s bad experience with her Rox’s birth has got her wanting a c-section next time round (Picture: MTV)
If I ever do have any more, I think I would look at surrogacy. I don’t know, but if I was ever to do it myself again, I think I’d get a c-section. I’m never doing that again, it was really bad. I was so poorly.
Addressing her birth, that even Casey said he found to be a ‘horrible experience’ – worth it though because it gave them little Rox, Marnie says she’ll never forget the ‘indescribable pain’.
Debunking the myth that holding your newborn immediately makes you forget the pains of labour, Marnie laughed: ‘I don’t know where that comes from.
The reality star says she would like a ‘big gap’ between giving birth to Rox and her next child (Picture: Instagram)
‘Honestly, that is the falsest thing I have heard. I haven’t forgotten it and I don’t think I every will. Maybe if people didn’t have any complications and their labour was quite straightforward – maybe they can forget…. even then, I definitely couldn’t. It was just an indescribable pain.’
Sorry to freak you out any expectant mummas out there.
Marnie is hoping to have a ‘big gap’ between welcoming Rox and another child, because actually, she quite likes fussing over Rox and Rox alone: ‘I don’t want to give any of my attention anywhere else’.
She praised Casey for being a ‘hands-on’ dad, with the singer taking on the night feeds and letting her get a good night’s sleep so she can tackle the days.
And while she’s fully aware that people on social media will form their own opinions on her parenting, she isn’t afraid to share Rox with fans online – admitting that she actually finds it easier to post a picture of her baby that she does of herself.
‘It’s tough, I think being in the public eye is hard anyway, but I’m just so proud of Rox and that I’m a mum, I just want to show him off,’ she said.
‘I find it so much easier to share a picture of Rox than I do of myself. He’s just perfect, nobody can ever fault him.’
But are wedding bells on the cards for Marnie and Casey?
‘Whenever people ask, Casey says we’re definitely going to get married, but he never really says when, so I’m just hoping it’s soon,’ Marnie said.
‘I would really like to get married… I never thought I would be this type of person, it’s weird,’ she admitted. ‘I’ll definitely have a small wedding, though, low key.
‘I’m not like the big party person, I just want like 10 people on a beach together.’
As for Casey feeling the pressure to propose, he says: ‘Nope, not feeling the pressure. It happens when it happens.’
Geordie OGs premieres on Wednesday 26 February at 9pm on MTV.

Amy Hart is looking for love on the new series of Celebs Go Dating (Picture: Getty)
Amy Hart has swapped the Love Island villa for the Celebs Go Dating agency, in her next bid to find romance.
She returned to our screens in the first instalment of the E4 show on 24 February, alongside EastEnders’ Dean Gaffney, and Towie stars Amy Childs and James Lock.
And, in a chat with Metro.co.uk about what we can expect from the series, she heaped praise on coaches Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson for helping her overcome her biggest confidence issues.
When asked what the experience had taught her, the 26-year-old told us: ‘I need to be more confident.
‘I always think I cover up my low self-esteem but evidently not, everyone can see it.
‘I’m quite shy at the beginning, I think it’s good seeing my journey progress.’
And the flight attendant admitted that it only gets ‘more interesting’ from there.
‘It’s a really interesting journey,’ she continued. ‘It made me laugh, and obviously I did pick him to go on a date with. I’m the first one to take the p**s out of myself so that’s fine.
‘It’s a really fun experience and I met some really cool people. I embarrass myself a little bit here and there, but you’ll have to wait and see.’
Celebs Go Dating continues on weekdays, at 9pm, on E4.

Kerry Katona (right) says Caroline Flack (left) reached out to her before her death (Picture: Rex)
Kerry Katona has revealed that she wishes she could have done more for Caroline Flack, after the presenter reached out to her about the online bullying she was faced with.
Caroline had messaged Kerry six weeks before she took her own life, asking for advice on how to cope with the bullying she was receiving online and on social media.
Kerry admitted to OK that she thought Caroline had wanted to speak to her specifically, because she had experience of being attacked by brutal trolls online.
She revealed that she had tried to reassure Caroline of ‘how strong she was’, but that she ‘couldn’t save her’ in the end.
Caroline had reached out to Kerry over the trolling she had received from Fathers4Justice after she was arrested for assault following an altercation with her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.
The Love Island star, 40, was ‘distraught that they had publicly lambasted her and called her an “abuser”’, and she told Kerry it had made her ‘sink so deep’, something Kerry could identify with.
She revealed that after the death of her husband George Kay, who had been abusive towards her, she thought her children would be better off without her as she hit rock bottom amid the bullying she was receiving on social media.
Caroline Flack died by suicide on 15 February (Picture: Rex Features)
Kerry says she was careful with her choice of words in reply to Caroline, explaining: ‘I tried, I really, really did. And I was very careful with what I replied to her in those messages.
‘I wanted to tell her I had felt suicidal, but I know that can be triggering, so I used the phrase “nervous breakdown” instead.’
Kerry admitted she felt guilt that she didn’t push Caroline to open up further, writing: ‘I knew it must have been serious for her to reach out to me because we were in a different league showbiz-wise. She’s up there, I’m down here.
Kerry Katona says she felt suicidal after the abuse she received following the death of her ex, George Kay (Picture: Rex Features)
‘I may be a household name, but I’m nowhere near the calibre of star she was. So now I ask myself, why didn’t I push more? Why didn’t I follow up the conversation after those initial few messages? Why was I so scared of looking like a cling-on that I didn’t ask her to meet up so we could talk some more?’
Kerry explained that the vile comments being posted about Caroline in the wake of her arrest reminded her of the abuse she received on Facebook after she appeared on This Morning in 2008, and her bipolar medication was making her slur her words, leading people to accuse her of being drunk or on drugs.
Caroline was arrested after a row with Lewis Burton, and was told not to speak out about the incident before her death (Picture: @mrlewisburton)
Kerry says that left her ‘so low [she] wanted to die’, but her psychiatrist has told her to be honest with the public about her previous issues with drink and drugs, but to keep her mental health issues private.
She added: ‘That’s 100 per cent what happened to Caroline. Nobody allowed her to explain herself or talk about her mistake, they just said she’d beaten up her boyfriend. It’s no wonder she felt so helpless.
‘We live in a society where people like watching others crumble because it makes them feel better about their own lives. It makes them realise their lives aren’t so s**t after all.
‘We all need to practise what we preach and be kinder to one another. Be aware of mental health issues and don’t dismiss them. People are struggling. It really is very simple: just be kind.’

With Husbands Of Instagram totally being a thing, Pewds – real name Felix Kjellberg – is taking one for the team as he stepped behind the lens to capture the A+ #content for Marzia’s social media today.
And just to make sure we saw both sides of the action, he snapped a cheeky selfie – which Marzia all too gladly posted.
Looking a little, dare we say, deflated by his time as snapper, poor Felix’s expression really is something.
But when the two contrasting images on Marzia’s Instagram come together? *chef’s kiss*
Today Marzia shared two snaps to her Instagram, one of her beaming down the lens as she stood in front of two flats.
Even though the weather was a little (ok, a lot) overcast, Marzia was a ruddy ray of sunshine as she wore a bright yellow coat over some funky AF flared jeans.
And a beret. Always a beret. Which she perfectly pulls off.
She wrote: ‘If you ever wondered what it looks like behind the camera.’
Of course we couldn’t help ourselves to then slide on over to the next snap, which saw a freezing-looking Felix shooting a deadpan look down the lens.
Mate, you’re doing God’s work here!
Fans recognised the selfless contribution to his wife’s feed, as one follower wrote: ‘All hail the great pewtographer.’
Another joked: ‘Not the hero we wanted but the hero we needed.’
They’re not wrong there.
Marzia and Felix are continuing to make our hearts soar, as they reunited following Pewds’ extended break in Japan while he took some time out from YouTube.
Reunited just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Swedish star was clearly keen to pamper his wife after they spent three weeks apart, bringing her breakfast in bed, and a pretty flashy gift.
Pewds’ V-Day gift was way too sweet (Picture: Instagram)
Snapping a photo of her treats, Marzia wrote on Instagram: ‘The mad lad surprised me with breakfast in bed, a lovely card and a beautiful ring.’
Felix, who tied the knot with Marzia last year at a quiet ceremony in London’s Kew Gardens, has been enjoying his first ever break from YouTube, jetting off to his second home in Japan and embarking on a full social media detox.
His last video, ‘It’s been real, but I’m out,’ has racked up more than 20 million views in his absence, with the PewDiePie Submissions subreddit devolving into chaos, so fans are definitely glad to have him back.

Lady Gaga will finally be dropping new tune Stupid Love on Friday (Picture: Rex)
Lady Gaga will be dropping her new single Stupid Love on Friday. Get excited.
In probably the worst kept secret ever of 2020, Gaga took to Twitter to confirm her latest release and revealed Stupid Love will be available from midnight on Friday 28 February.
Tweeting a picture of a promo poster, the singer posted: ‘”STUPID LOVE” THE NEW SINGLE BY LADY GAGA OUT FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT ET.’
Of course, Gaga fans were hot on her heels and many screamed their excitement over new music from the pop icon.
One fan commented (all in caps just to get the message across): ‘THANK GOD WE ARE ALL SO TIRED HUNGRY AND THIRSTY.’
Another said: ‘I can’t wait to hear this for the first time EVER!!’
Gaga revealed her exciting music news on Twitter (Picture: Twitter)
While a third couldn’t quite get their words together and instead went for: ‘FREAKING OUT FREAKING OUT FREAKING OUT.’
You see, the track, produced by BloodPop, actually leaked online last month and it was quickly established by the Twitter’verse that it’s the bop we all needed.
If that wasn’t a hint that Stupid Love would be serving as the first single release from Gaga’s new album, known as #LG6, then the fact that the song title popped up in coding on the star’s website probably was.
Track title, Stupid Love, was found hidden in the coding of Gaga’s website and was reportedly used to include a page dedicated to the song.
But in a move to try and distract us all, Gaga’s management then replaced the song title with a bunch of random letters instead, after realising fans had debunked the code.
What we want to know is, who thought to look there in the first place?
Sources had teased that Gaga fans would get their hands on a new single this month, in the lead up to the Shallow hit-maker’s new album.
‘Gaga has been working hard in the studio for the last year and is really excited about what she’s got. She is sticking to what she is good at and the first single is very pop,’ a source told The Sun.
‘She knows she can’t spend too long away from the industry so wants to come back now while there’s still so much love for her.’

The 40-year-old admitted at the end of season 17 that she had reached ‘breaking point’ with filming, and according to a source she had ‘no regrets’ about taking a breather from shooting the new series.
Kourtney shared on Instagram that she is back on set filming another piece to camera where the family reveal their inner thoughts about a situation.
The behind-the-scenes picture showed Kourt, wearing a lowcut brown dress, staring straight down the camera.
‘These are my confession’ she wrote in the caption.
One fan referenced the TV star’s decision to eat gluten again after previously being gluten-free, and commented: ‘So we’re eating gluten & continuing KUWTK okay kourt do your thaaang (sic).’
Kourtney replied: ‘Balance’, adding an emoji of a set of scales.
It has been reported that the mum-of-three was growing concerned with the ‘negative effect’ that growing up in the spotlight could have on her kids.

The star shares Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and Reign, five, with ex Scott Disick.
A source shared with PEOPLE earlier this month: ‘‘As Kourtney and Scott’s kids get older, especially Kourtney feels that public exposure is not really beneficial for the kids.
‘There are already trolls that post nasty comments about the kids. They are too young to read about it yet, but Kourtney would hate for them to read it as they get older. She feels more and more protective of the kids.’

Recent KUWTK episodes showed the relationship between Kourtney, Kim and Khloe become increasingly strained.
The mum-of-three recently posted photos of herself and Khloe looking drop dead gorgeous, but the caption suggested the night might not have gone to plan.
‘Date night, even though she ditched me half way through,’ Kourtney wrote.

Jon Snow has placed himself into self-isolation after travelling to Iran
Jon Snow has revealed he’s currently in self-isolation after returning from Iran where coronavirus has so far killed 15 people.
While the TV stalwart is not showing any symptoms of the deadly COVID-19 virus, he and his team – who were overseas covering the elections – have decided the best course of action is to stay indoors for two weeks.
As they say, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Sharing his current isolated state on telly tonight from his North London flat, Channel 4 news caught up with Jon who spoke of the current situation.
‘I’m in self-isolation as a result of having been to Iran for the past four or five days and I’m therefore not really supposed to congregate with crowds or go anywhere where there may be people,’ he said on Tuesday night. ‘So that means I’m sitting at home. For two weeks.’
He continued: ‘I woke up this morning feeling rather tired, but that was from the trip. But we weren’t actually anywhere near where the main virus outbreak has occurred.’

While some may relish two weeks to catch up on their chores around the house, online shop and binge Blind Love, Jon said the enormity of two weeks in self-isolation hadn’t yet hit him.
‘I’m not very good with my own company…therefore it will be very, very strange,’ he said. ‘Maybe if you call me again in 14 days you’ll find a head case on your hands.’
Despite his lack of symptoms, Jon is following government guidance for those recently returned from areas with high numbers of coronavirus infections.
Iran has been hit by the coronavirus (Picture: AP)
Iraj Hairichi had given a new conference just yesterday seeking to play down the danger caused by the virus, where he stopped at one point to wipe away sweat from his forehead. He posted a video online today saying that he had contracted the disease and that he had quarantined himself at his home.
Iran is currently struggling to contain one of the largest clusters of cases outside of China.
So far the country’s official death toll from the virus has risen to 15 killed, with 95 confirmed infections.
The novel coronavirus has infected more than 80,000 people globally, causing around 2,700 deaths, mainly in China. The World Health Organization has named the illness COVID-19, referring to its origin late last year and the coronavirus that causes it.
What is the coronavirus and where did it start?
Coronaviruses are a family of diseases which include the common cold and the virus which caused Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), which originated in China in 2002 and killed nearly 800 people around the world.
The virus causing concern now is a new strain which has made the jump from animals to people.
It causes flu-like symptoms and can make it hard for people to breathe, causing viral pneumonia in severe cases.
Over 900 people worldwide have now died after contracting the illness.
The Foreign Office has warned against all but essential travel to mainland China, and British Airways has subsequently suspended flights there.
They have not advised against travel to Thailand and Japan, which have both seen cases of the virus, but warned there are enhanced quarantine procedures at entry points to Japan such as airports and ports.
If you’re booked onto a flight with BA and are scheduled to fly between January 26 – February 23, you can request a refund.
In order to do this, get in touch with them directly through the BA website.
They also offer the option to rebook to the same destination, although it is not known when flights to mainland China will resume.
To avoid the illness, take usual hygiene precautions, such as using a tissue to cover coughs and sneezes, and making sure to wash your hands.
Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth after touching things like poles on public transport and avoid close contact with people suffering an acute respiratory infection.
You should also avoid unprotected contact with wild or farm animals.
So far, eight cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the UK.
Hundreds have been tested for it here, with most of the tests coming back negative.
Duffy made the brave admission on social media (Picture: Instagram)
Singer Duffy has revealed to fans that she was ‘raped and drugged and held captive’ before she took a break from the limelight.
The singer posted a message telling fans what had happened to her on Instagram, revealing the reason she had stopped releasing music and had ‘disappeared’.
Duffy, real name Aimee Anne Duffy, 35, wrote: ‘You can only imagine the amount of times I thought about writing this. The way I would write it, how I would feel thereafter.
‘Well, not entirely sure why now is the right time, and what it is that feels exciting and liberating for me to talk. I cannot explain it. Many of you wonder what happened to me, where did I disappear to and why.
‘A journalist contacted me, he found a way to reach me and I told him everything this past summer. He was kind and it felt so amazing to finally speak.
‘The truth is, and please trust me I am ok and safe now, I was raped and drugged and held captive over some days. Of course I survived. The recovery took time. There’s no light way to say it.’
She revealed it was difficult, but she had spent her time away from fame on healing from the horrific incident, adding: ‘But I can tell you in the last decade, the thousands and thousands of days I committed to wanting to feel the sunshine in my heart again, the sun does now shine.
‘You wonder why I did not choose to use my voice to express my pain? I did not want to show the world the sadness in my eyes. I asked myself, how can I sing from the heart if it is broken? And slowly it unbroke.
‘In the following weeks I will be posting a spoken interview. If you have any questions I would like to answer them, in the spoken interview, if I can.
‘I have a sacred love and sincere appreciation for your kindness over the years. You have been friends. I want to thank you for that x Duffy’.
She added: ‘Please respect this is a gentle move for me to make, for myself, and I do not want any intrusion to my family. Please support me to make this a positive experience.’
The popular Welsh singer’s career had gone from strength to strength after signing a record deal in 2007, with her album Rockferry being the best-selling record of 2008 in the UK.
The Grammy award-winning star last released an album, Endlessly, in 2010, and is set to release another record this year, following 10 years away from the music industry.
Duffy has recorded a spoken interview about the ordeal, which she will be releasing in the next few weeks detailing what she went through, though she hasn’t confirmed the date it will be released.
Who knew we’d grow so accustomed to hearing Iain Stirling’s iconic, ‘previously… on Love Island’?!
Seriously, the withdrawal symptoms are real.
Thankfully, Luke Mabbott (aka Luke M) has come to the rescue, documenting every single second of their journey home from South Africa, so we didn’t have to miss a second of it.
Taking to Instagram, the Justin Bieber lookalike celebrated finally getting his phone back by blessing us all with wholesome videos of himself and Demi Jones in their hotel room.
The couple, who finished the show in third place, were beaming as they thanked fans for sticking by their side in the villa, as they made the most of some much-needed privacy.

Luke M and Luke T (aka Luke squared) delighted Love Island viewers with their bromance in the villa, with many calling out for them both to win in a friendship couple.
Side note: We wouldn’t have minded this.
And, discussing his friendship with Siannise Fudge’s beau, he explained: ‘We’re on exactly the same page. Even with family, our parents are both still happily married, previous relationships, everything’s the same.
‘He’s such a good laugh. He’s a genuine laugh – I don’t think I’ll ever meet another lad like him.’
Friendship. Goals.

Kobe Bryant gifted Vanessa the actual blue dress from The Notebook (Picture: AP/Rex)
Vanessa Bryant revealed that Kobe Bryant once bought her the actual notebook and blue dress from The Notebook because of the significance it held for them.
At the memorial for Kobe, 41, and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who were both killed alongside seven others in a helicopter crash in January, Vanessa revealed the basketball star’s romantic side.
‘He gifted me the actual notebook and the blue dress that Rachel McAdams wore in The Notebook movie.’
She revealed that that particular outfit had special significance to the couple, explaining: ‘When I asked him why he chose the blue dress, he said it was because it was a scene when Allie came back to Noah.’
Kobe and Vanessa’s relationship had had its ups and downs over the years, with Vanessa filing for divorce in 2011;
However, she announced in 2013 that the couple had reconciled and that their ‘divorce action will be dismissed’.
This was the same year she posted a throwback photo of the gift on social media, so the symbolism of her ‘coming back’ to Kobe makes sense.
She added: ‘We had hoped to grow old together like the movie. We really had an amazing love story. We loved each other with our whole beings, two perfectly imperfect people, making a beautiful love story and raising our sweet and amazing girls.’
The couple shared four daughters (Picture: Vanessa Bryant / Instagram)
She had shared the gift with her Instagram followers in 2013, writing: ‘#ThrowbackThursday One of my favorite Valentine’s day gifts from my husband was the blue dress, shoes and THE notebook from the Notebook Movie he gave me years ago.
‘(The notebook is a prop but it still has sentimental value). Happy Valentine’s Day! #tbt #Valentinesday #LoveStory #TheNotebook #Love’.
What an incredible gift.

Neither Joe or Sophie, who wed in Las Vegas last year, have addressed the rumours, enjoying spending Sophie’s special day with her and her friends in Paris.
Joe, 30, paid tribute to the ‘love of my life’ in a loved up Instagram post for her birthday.

Metallica have cancelled two festival appearances in 2020 (Picture: Rex Features)
Metallica have cancelled two festival appearances after the dates crashed with ‘critical recovery events’ for frontman James Hetfield.
The band have pulled out of performing at Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio in May, and Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky in September.
He shared a statement with fans, reading: ‘Dear Metallica Family, It pains me to write this, but I have to let all of you know that I cannot make it to Sonic Temple in Columbus and Louder Than Life in Louisville this year.
‘As part of my continuing effort to get and stay healthy, I have critical recovery events on those weekends that cannot be moved.
He added that touring meant he wasn’t able to prioritise his health, explaining: ‘The reality is that I have not prioritized my health in the past year of touring and I now know that my mental health comes first.

‘That might sound like a no-brainer for most of you but I didn’t want to let the Metallica team/family down and, I alone, completely compromised myself.’
He reassured fans that his therapy has been going well and that the band will not be pulling out of any other planned shows.
James added: ‘Looking on the brighter side, my therapy is going well. It was absolutely necessary for me to look after my mental, physical, and spiritual health. I want to stress that the band will play all other announced 2020 shows.’

He admitted that the support from fans has helped him throughout his time in rehab, explaining: ‘Beyond 2020, I am optimistic about the blessings I have been given and what the future brings.
‘I appreciate all the great prayers and support from everyone since I went into rehab last September.
‘Like the moth into the flame, being human in this career has its huge challenges and can be difficult. Your understanding helps the healing. James.’
