The 26-year-old is currently looking for romance on the E4 dating show, following her doomed time in the Love Island villa – where she was dumped by the professional dancer.
And, ahead of a lunch date with Lockie and Curt, she couldn’t help but taking aim at her ex.
‘Oh, my God. Dating two guys at once is so awks,’ she told the camera.
‘It’s like trying to tango with two partners at the same time.’
Turning straight to camera like a total little sasspot, she added: ‘You just wouldn’t do it, would you?’

Just in case we didn’t quite get the memo, voiceover Rob Beckett joked: ‘OH! Shots fired.
‘We can’t name him for legal reasons but take that, Purtis Critchard.’
Fans watching on from home found the dig hilarious, flocking to Twitter to praise the scenes.
‘I’m ngl I’m dying at the liners @amyhart1707 is coming out with #CelebsGoDating (sic),’ a viewer posted.
‘Loving @amyhart1707 sly comments at her ex half boyfriend! #CelebsGoDating,’ another said.

While a Twitter user posted: ‘#CelebsGoDating Take that, Purtis Critchard.’
‘The way @amyhart1707 looked at the other camera when she said that #CelebsGoDating,’ one praised.
‘Hahahahahahaha @amyhart1707 dig at a certain someone! Yes girl!!! #CelebsGoDating,’ a follower added.
Amy was coupled up with Curtis at the beginning of last year’s Love Island – with the pair getting very serious in just a matter of days.
But, shortly after AJ Pritchard’s brother stepped foot in Casa Amor, he decided the air hostess wasn’t the girl for him, and eventually cracked on with Maura Higgins.
She eventually decided to leave the show as she couldn’t handle seeing them move on together, and has remained single ever since.
Celebs Go Dating continues on weekdays, at 9pm, on E4.

The second episode of Flesh And Blood was equally dramatic (Picture: ITV)
The drama continued on Flesh And Bloodtonight as the new four-part series returned for its second episode.
While we had a load of questions that needed answering from yesterday’s gripping debut, we were left with even more as further events unfolded between Vivien (played by Francesca Annis), Mark (Stephen Rea) and the rest of the family.
The latest chapter kicked off with a mysterious car fire, before Natalie (Lydia Leonard narrated her version of what went down on the night one of the characters was attacked.
As ever though, we need some things explained. Like, pronto.
Who set fire to the car?
Vivien’s car – which was gifted to her by Mark – was set alight in scenes that aired tonight as the family celebrated their secret marriage news on the beach.
Mark spotted the vehicle aflame as he headed back into the house and quickly warned the others to back off before it exploded into smithereens.
Recalling the incident to the police, Natalie said that she didn’t see any kids on the beach during the night, which begs the question, who set the car on fire?
Did Mary (Imelda Staunton) douse the car in petrol while her neighbours had their heads turned? Or was another character carrying out their revenge for some so-far unknown reason?
Who set fire to Vivien’s car? (Picture: ITV)
Was Vivien brainwashed into marrying Mark?
In the first episode, Vivien seemed confident that she didn’t want to marry again after losing her late husband.
However, she U-turned on this decision pretty damn fast when she was whisked off on holiday with Mark.
What made Vivien change her mind? Was she really just caught up in the heat of the moment or is there something more sinister at play?
it would be easier if we were each others next of kin. we might be in some remote part of the country. it’s a practical solution. has she been brainwashed?
Does Mark’s daughter Sophie exist? (Picture: ITV)
Is Mark’s daughter Sophie real?
Mark and Vivien went all the way to Spain to meet up with his daughter Sophie, but a sudden train crash foiled their plans as she was called into the hospital to attend to patients.
Later on in the episode, seeds of doubt were planted in Vivien’s mind when her son Jake (Russell Tovey) asked whether she’d ever seen pictures of Sophie.
Vivien requested to see a snap of Sophie on Mark’s phone, but he shot her down by saying that he didn’t have any because he didn’t know how to transfer them onto his new device. Ah, yes, that old chestnut.
At this point, alarm bells are ringing in our minds. This sounds like a real-life catfish situation.
Surely Sophie isn’t real? Someone call Nev and Max and get the camera crew ready!
Will the victim pull through their surgery?
Although we still have no idea who was left for dead after Vivien’s birthday party, it has been revealed that the victim has gone into surgery for treatment.
During Natalie’s interview, police confirmed that the unidentified character was going under the knife with all further details so-far remaining firmly under wraps.
Will the victim survive the surgery or will the police soon be dealing with a murder?
Flesh And Blood continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.

The 67-year-old has been convinced on two out of five counts – criminal sexual act in the first degree, and rape in the third degree – meaning he could face a maximum of 29 years behind bars over the landmark #MeToo case.
And 11 of his accusers have revealed plans to pursue him in courts in LA.
Speaking in a press conference at LA City Hall, they insisted the case was not finished.
Louisette Geiss, an actress and producer, said: ‘Harvey, you messed with the wrong women. We will see you here in Los Angeles where hopefully your conviction will leave you in jail for life.’
While Canadian actress Larissa Gomes continued: ‘Now we can turn our attention to the upcoming trial here in LA. We have an opportunity to build on this momentum.
Weinstein could face up to 29 years in prison (Picture: Reuters)
‘This verdict is not everything, but it’s significant in so many ways.’
And activist Caitlin Dulany added that ‘the world will never be the same for survivors everywhere’.
Their words come a day after Weinstein was found guilty of raping an aspiring actress in a hotel room in 2013, and sexually assaulting a production assistant in 2006, by forcibly performing
oral sex on her.
He was acquitted on the most serious charges, two counts of predatory sexual assault, each carrying a sentence of up to life in prison – his lawyers are thought to be planning to appeal the decision.
According to Deadline, the medic decided that the convicted sexual predator needed greater professional treatment at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.
He had been suffering heart palpitations and high blood pressure, a source told the publication.
Following the news, Patricia Arquette was among those hailing the conviction, saying: ‘The public is seeing that men, even a man as powerful and famous as Weinstein, will be held accountable for their abuse of women.’
She fought back tears as she heralded a ‘historic shift’.

But amid all the memes and the intrigued punters curious as to this fresh celebrity pairing, Pete, 26, has nothing but lovely words to say about Underworld star Kate.
Dishing all on his past relationships in a soul-baring interview with Charlamagne Tha God this week, Pete dubbed 46-year-old Kate ‘one of the funniest people I’ve ever met’.
Well, we follow her on Instagram, Pete – we could have told you that.
He added: ‘F**king legendary, all of my uncles freaked out. Also, f**king hysterical, really, really funny…she’s really cool.’
Saying it ‘wasn’t the right time’ for them because he was heading into rehab, Pete added: ‘She was very understanding and cool.’
On his exes in general, Pete was asked extensively about them one by one, which isn’t an easy thing to be hurled at in an interview. However, Pete was a legend as he spoke highly of his former loves.

He spoke about his engagement to Ariana Grande (Picture: WireImage)
‘I’ve been very fortunate and lucky to date some really wonderful, beautiful, cool, talented women and with that comes [distraction],’ he said of how his dating life meant he was tabloid fodder. ‘I’m aware there’s sh*t but I do think I get it a little harder than most. But that comes with the territory.
‘It looks like I’m a wh**e, but I’ve only been with those girls pretty much. So I’ve only been with five-to-six people, if I was a girl, I’d be a virgin. And they were at least three-to-six months [long relationships]. I’m not just like running through stuff.’
He also addressed his recent split with 18-year-old model Kaia Gerber, saying he didn’t think it was fair for Kaia, who he had been dating since October last year, to take on his ‘issues’.

WWE has suspended Samoa Joe for his first violation of the wellness policy.
The company has confirmed the news, adding that the 40-year-old superstar will be kept out of action for the next 30 days under the terms of his punishment.
In short post on WWE.com, they said: ‘WWE has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.’
This would mean Joe won’t be eligible to return any earlier than March 30, which in turn would massively reduce his chances of playing a major role at this year’s WrestleMania on April 5 in Tampa, Florida.
The so-called Samoan Submission Machine has been off-screen in recent weeks, which was reportedly down to an apparent head injury he suffered during filming for an upcoming WWE commercial.
Before his injury, Joe had been embroiled in a major storyline on Monday Night Raw as he was aligned with Kevin Owens and the Viking Raiders in their battle against Seth Rollins and his disciples AOP and Murphy.
Recently, the Street Profits have joined KO as he faces the Monday Night Messiah’s group in one of the brand’s top feuds.
However, with Joe being out of action now for some time, it could mean he gets phased out of that storyline and brought back after WrestleMania for a big return on the traditional Raw after Mania show.
Although it’s not impossible for WWE to bring him back before the annual extravaganza, it seems highly unlikely – and at this point it would seem the best chance of an appearance at the Granddady of Them All be in the form of the Kickoff’s Andre The Giant Battle Royale.
Meanwhile, reigning United States Champion Andrade is set to return to from his own suspension as he makes a comeback at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.

Haleyi was one of the women who testified against the disgraced film producer in court.
She told Good Morning America that she was glad that ‘the jury got it’ and ‘they believed me and I was heard’.
Mimi, real name Miriam, had testified that Weinstein, 67, had forced oral sex on her in a Manhattan apartment in 2006. Weinstein was charged with a first-degree criminal sex act.
‘I just sat down and I started crying. It was just a huge sense of relief – just the relief that the jury got it, that they believed me and I was heard,’ she said.
Actress Annabella Sciorra added that although her testimony didn’t lead to a conviction, including the most serious charge of sexual assault, she said it was ‘necessary’ for her to speak.

She said: ‘I spoke for myself and with the strength of the 80-plus victims of Harvey Weinstein in my heart. While we hope for continued righteous outcomes that bring absolute justice, we can never regret breaking the silence.
‘For in speaking truth to power we pave the way for a more just culture, free of the scourge of violence against women.’
On Tuesday, a group of women known as the Silence Breakers held a press conference to give their responses to Weinstein’s conviction on two out of the five charges of rape and sexual assault.

And they seemed more loved-up than ever before as they returned back to the UK together – alongside their fellow finalists Siannise Fudge, Luke T, Luke M, Demi Jones, Jess Gale and Ched Uzor.
One snap showed the 20-year-old picking his girlfriend up as they queued for their flight, while another showed them cosying up to one another in the airport.
Paige, 22, rocked the airport chic look of dreams in a black cropped vest top and grey tracksuit bottoms, completing the look with a baseball cap.
While her beau kept the holiday vibes going slightly longer, opting for black shorts and a t-shirt.

‘Being in there and sharing a bed for so long and having genuine feelings, it’s hard to fight them,’ Paige said.
‘You go in there and you think, “I’m not going to do it”, all of this, all of that,’ Finn agreed.
‘But then you’re living 24/7 having genuine solid, feelings for someone and are really attracted to them!

‘And some of them bikinis – phwoar!’
The news of their bedroom antics may not come as a total surprise to viewers, after Finn lifted the lid on their exploits in the Breakfast Club chats.
Y’know, where the boys would discuss what had gone down in bed using the world’s worst code of breakfast items…
And Paige isn’t that fussed that her man let slip.
‘To be fair, that’s lad banter – so whatever,’ she added: ‘The code was intellectual for the boys. They were terrible at hiding it.
‘I knew exactly what was going on.’

Caption: Hailey Baldwin, Kit Harington among stars at the Saint Laurent show
The likes of *inhales* Kit Harington, Lily Collins, Hailey Bieber, Joe Keery, Zoe and Lenny Kravitz, Rami Malek, Ana De Armas and Brooklyn Beckham *exhales* all headed to the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week tonight making it one of the most star-studded shows, like, ever.
The collective talent, and money, in that room. Sheesh.
Taking up the prized front row at the Fall Winter 2020 catwalk show in the French capital, the famous faces were looking their fashionable best for the stylish outing.
One of the most anticipated shows in the fashion week calendar, it seemed the stars weren’t keen to miss this season’s instalment.
We don’t even know where to start but oh look here we have Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend Nicola Peltz so we suppose we’ll start here?
She was nowhere to be seen on the front row (honestly, we’d be taking advantage of the swanky room service menu, but maybe that’s just us), as Kit was sat between Lily Collins and Hailey Bieber.
We told you this was a fashionable and famous front row.

Because you can’t really have a stylish front row without the uber cool likes of Zoe Kravitz and her dad Lenny, those two came along for the ride as well.
Rocking up in a pretty iconic silver sparkly top, Zoe posed for pics alongside her rocker dad, who was looking all kinds of sharp in a pinstripe blazer.
Do you reckon they can read one another’s mind? (Picture: Getty Images)
Rather poignantly, Stranger Things star Joe Keery brought his hair along to proceedings, which is the real star in all of this.
Can we please take a moment to pay Joe’s hair the respect it deserves…

Rose from BLACKPINK was also taking in the catwalk (Picture: WireImage)
Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rami Malek and Ana de Armas stike a pose (Picture: Getty Images)
To round out today’s stupidly famous fashion show (but will it be the last? We think not) we have Charlotte Gainsbourg mingling with Bond stars Rami Malek and Ana de Armas.
With Rami playing No Time To Die’s fiendish villain, Safin, and Ana picking back up alongside Daniel Craig as Paloma, we do hope there was no bad blood on the catwalk.
Flocking to take in Anthony Vaccarello’s glam-rock designs, they watched the likes of Kaia Gerber strut the runway, with BLACKPINK’s Rose also there to take in the action.
We do hope you were counting how many famous faces there were because we are not going back to the beginning to start again.
So, ah, same time next year?

Vivien was horrified when her car went up in flames (Picture: ITV)
Viewers who tuned in to the second episode of Flesh and Blood turned detective yet again when a dramatic cliffhanger saw Vivien (Francesca Annis) targeted as her car was set on fire.
Towards the end of the episode Vivien and her three children were enjoying spending time together on the beach after they found out she had married her partner Mark (Stephen Rea).
When Mark left the beach to get started on dinner, Vivien’s son Jake (Russell Tovey) and daughters Helen (Claudia Blakley) and Natalie (Lydia Leonard) confronted their mum about her shock news.
As Vivien berated them for not thinking about how she feels, Mark came running back up the beach to reveal that the car he had bought for his wife was now up in flames.
The family, and their neighbour Mary (Imelda Staunton), watched on in horror (or not in the case of whoever the culprit was) as the car burned and eventually exploded.
In her police interview, Natalie insisted that it was a group of kids who did it even though they didn’t see any children hanging around that night.
Fans have been trying to work out who was behind such a spiteful act, with Mary coming out as the frontrunner of possible suspects. After all, she wasn’t present at the beach with the rest of the family. Might she have used that night as an opportunity to wreak havoc?
Oh wow, I wonder who set the car on fire…
Does her name rhyme with Scary by any chance? #fleshandblood
However there were some who still don’t trust Mark and think he might have set the car on fire, especially because it happened shortly after he left the beach.
And it might be just us, or was there a bit of a look that passed between Mary and Jake? And was Natalie telling the whole truth during her police interview? She seemed pretty sure it was kids who caused the fire. Almost too sure…
The gripping drama series continues on Wednesday thankfully, so there’s not long to wait until we find out what happens next.
Was Mary responsible? (Picture: ITV)
Until then we have plenty of questions that we need answered (including who torched that car), and you can have a read and a ponder for yourself right over here.

The star was found in her east London home on Saturday 15 January, after she took her own life, and Danny – a TV producer who met Caroline years ago – has spoken about how he’s still coming to terms with the loss of the bubbly host.
Sharing an insight into his friendship with the presenter, Danny detailed his thoughts on Caroline’s trajectory from children’s show star to household name, describing it (as well as her life) as ‘jagged and chaotic’.
Saying that ‘knowing that she’s gone is just horrible’, Danny wrote for Grazia in a heartfelt tribute: ‘Caroline had an amazing ability to be two completely opposing forces at the same time. She could be loved and hated all at once. Both vulnerable and hard as nails.
‘She was an incredibly complicated person who had incredibly complicated relationships with the people she loved.’
However he made it clear he wants Caroline to be known for her zest, and not as a victim of any sort.
Caroline tragically died earlier this month (Picture: Getty Images)
He continued: ‘But the way I’m going to remember her isn’t as a victim. It’s as an absolute powerhouse who unapologetically lived her life the way she wanted to live it.
‘Caroline’s death is a tragedy. An avoidable tragedy. But in her time here she experienced more than most people would in a hundred lifetimes.
‘She won Strictly, was the worst contestant of all time on Bake Off, is part of the DNA of Love Island. She hosted I’m A Celeb, The X Factor, and all while going on holiday about 300 times a year and going out with absolutely everybody.’
Danny finished off his tribute by writing: ‘Caroline was a superstar, irreplaceable on our TV screens, and irreplaceable as a friend. And I’m really, really going to miss her.’
Sunday night’s Love Island was dedicated to the star who hosted the show up until this year, before she stepped back following an assault charge stemming from an incident with boyfriend Lewis Burton.
Following footage of the islanders embracing their last morning in the Love Island villa, cameras cut to Laura who dedicated this year’s final to her friend.
She choked up as she told viewers at home how ‘difficult’ the past week has been for her and the Love Island team.
Laura said: ‘Caroline loved Love Island and that’s why tonight’s final is dedicated to her.’
A montage of Caroline’s time on Love Island then followed, showing the presenter throughout the series over the years, her interactions with contestants and her infectious laugh playing out.
The actress spoke to the podcast Shut Up Evan days before Weinstein’s guilty verdict and confessed she felt ‘disgusting’ to be forever linked to the 67-year-old.
When asked if the trial would bring her some closure, she replied: ‘Probably not until he’s dead now. I feel like he and I are strapped in this battle together until one of us is dead. That’s just how it goes.
‘Energetically we’re like just locked. It’s a really disgusting feeling. I just would love to be able to be like other people and live my life. That would be really nice, you know?’
Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of third-degree rape at his trial at Manhattan Criminal Court this week (Picture: PA)
The Charmed star has been one of Weinstein’s most vocal accusers (Picture: REX)
According to Variety she later added in a conference call alongside 20 other women known as the Silence Breakers: ’20 years ago I decided to come after Weinstein because I’d heard about him doing this to someone else, and then I heard him doing it to someone else, and someone else.
‘Every one of us who has come forward, we have a name, we have a history, we have a life, we are more than Weinstein. But today, because of the brave women, who bared their deepest hurt for the world to see, he’s in Rikers Island.
‘For once he won’t be sitting comfortably. For once he will know what it’s like to have power wrapped around his neck. Today is not a referendum on #MeToo, this is taking out the trash.’

Next guess
So another day another complete lack of news or rumours about what Nintendo has out this year. As others have said, it’s even a mystery why it’s a mystery. There doesn’t seem to have any reason to keep anything secretive so you’re left with the possibility that either they’ve got some massive game-changer they don’t want to reveal too soon (totally possible) or they’re just being weird and stupid (also totally possible).
I have no idea which it is but I did try and make a guess as to what their next big game might be after Animal Crossing… and I still have nothing to go on. I will say that I suspect Mario Golf or some other sports game is pretty likely but beyond that the only major franchises we haven’t had yet on the Switch are Metroid, 1080°/Wave Race, F-Zero, Donkey Kong (we’ve only had ports so far), Mario Kart (ditto), Pikmin, and Star Fox.
Do any of those seem any more or less likely than another? I wouldn’t say so. The only clue we’ve had from leaks is ‘tyres’, which could indicate another Mario Kart but I find that hard to believe really. I think Splatoon 3 is more likely and also maybe something new? We haven’t really had a major new IP now since launch and with Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 still in the wings as their safe bet now is a good time. But I really don’t know. This has been a very odd year so far. The Colt
Learning experience
It really seems like Capcom can do no wrong at the moment. The Resident Evil 3 remake sounds perfect, again, and I really like that they’re attempting to make up for the original’s short length by having what sounds like a pretty interesting multiplayer mode in there. I agree with the reader that said that Resi feels like the one franchise nobody hates. I’m sure there are people that don’t like it, especially if you’re not a horror fan, but the series has such a good hit rate, and so lovably goofy despite the scares, that I’ll always give it another chance.
Not that it needs another one at the moment though, given how well everything has been going since the failure of Resident Evil 6. It almost feels like that game was worth it just as a wake up call, as everything’s been going great since then and they really seem to have got back in touch with what Resi is about and have stopped trying to turn it into a Call Of Duty beater or whatever other rubbish they were talking about before.
There’s no question I’m getting the remake as soon as it’s out and I hope after that they’ll start talking about what comes next, in terms of both Resident Evil 8 and more remakes like Onimusha and Dino Crisis. They seem to be able to knock these remakes out pretty quick so I am totally up for one a year for the foreseeable future. Pob
Scum and villainy
So, I see Lucasfilm has announced the High Republic thing that was rumoured earlier in the year, but it doesn’t involve a video game – just books and comics basically. I’m not too upset about that because it sounds kind of a dull period in the timeline and since the only good things to come out of Disney Star Wars so far have been Rogue One and The Mandalorian I’m much more interested in something more grounded then more prequel-esque Jedi waving lightsabers around.
It was good to hear that Fallen Order 2 is confirmed to have a sequel but I would prefer that be the only Jedi focused series, at least in terms of story-based games. What we need now is something set in the seedy underbelly of the Star Wars universe. Something involving bounty hunters, smugglers, and crime lords. Basically, a sci-fi version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
I’m in two minds on how much overlap it should have with The Mandalorian as I think probably the Mandalorians deserve their own game. So maybe make the compromise being that you can play as a character that, like Boba Fett, is wearing Mandalorian armour but is not actually one. There’s tons of potential here though and no need to jam it all into just one game. I just hope this is a plan, or something similar to it, they’ve already come up with and is relatively close to being announced/released. Taylor Moon
Cheaper option
Watched an interesting video from Digital Foundry on the Xbox Series X specs.
They’ve announced a powerful machine. The game announcements will come, considering Microsoft’s recent developer buying spree. I guess now it comes down to price. Considering all Xbox One consoles will play first party games at least, and that a 12 teraflop machine can’t be cheap a minimum of £499, akin to the Xbox One X seems likely.
Anything more and I see Sony happily undercutting this and wiping the floor with them again. As there has been no news of the Lockhart I wonder if Microsoft will continue selling the Xbox One X in a new slim version, which would be much less than the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. That would still be an attractive option to many as the price of a console is a big influence for many gamers. Yes, this is all hypothetical but what is your opinion on this GC? Jag
GC: It seems possible. Certainly, the implication has been that they will continue to promote the Xbox One for at least all of next year.
Left behind
Talk of streaming games for the next gen, or even rivals like Google’s Stadia, is well and good if you have the broadband speeds to do it. My download speeds are still one of the lowest in the country. My contract was up recently but no one wanted to know because I have on average 3 Mbps speed. Doing a check on the internet, my area is 99% worse off than anyone else in the midlands.
It can take two days to download a game. I don’t think next gen will be exclusively streaming but I can see games going download only. And it frustrates me that single-player games are getting less and less thought put into them. I get it that mutliplayer games are easier to produce but I can’t play online, so rarely buy multiplayer unless there is a single-player option, which on the whole turns out to be a waste of time. Steve
GC: Multiplayer isn’t easier to make; it just tends to be more profitable. And we’d say the previous fears of publishers abandoning single-player en masse, have largely abated over the last two year.
Flip-flopping
This time last year my next gen plans were pretty solid: get a PlayStation 5 at launch. But now I’ve no idea what they will be. The Xbox One X has become my main gaming console at the close of this gen due to Game Pass, backwards compatibility, legacy games, and being the most powerful machine on the market, making it the clear multiformat choice.
We’ve yet to see Sony’s plans in more detail but I have a feeling that trio of pluses the Xbox One X has might be true of the Xbox Series X over PlayStation 5, so would probably opt for an Xbox Series X at launch and pick the PlayStation 5 up after a few years; unless Sony has some absolute must-have, Zelda: Breath Of The Wild quality launch exclusives.
It’s going to be interesting seeing what exactly both are bringing to the party and who will blink first in the game of launch price chicken. To be honest the Xbox Series X sounds like it would be excellent value at £500. But being of value and affordable are two different things. Maybe it’ll be a complete role reversal of the last gen and Microsoft release the more powerful console at the cheaper price. Unlikely, as I think it’ll be as we’ve seen before, with Sony waiting on Microsoft to announce first. Simundo
GC: Sony has already said the PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible, it remains to be seen if they’ll have a credible alternative to Game Pass. But there’s no need to make a decision now, more than half a year before launch and with still very little in the way of real information on either console.
Still waiting
Whatever happened to Panzer Dragoon on the Switch? It was supposed to be out late last year? Being a big Sega Saturn fan like yourselves I was looking forward to that. adams6legend
PS: I’m still pining for the original Sega Rally to get a HD makeover, like the brilliant Daytona USA one we had a few years ago. I don’t ask for Inbox magic often but really need it to do its thing to get this cast iron classic rereleased.
GC: Like so many games lately it’s been delayed to later this year.
Rain, rain go away
Since the apparent current dearth of games to play I’ve recently managed to get my hands on a cheap unboxed cash-in-hand Wii U console for the sole purpose of playing Zelda: Breath Of The Wild – having not bought anything Nintendo since the N64.
It’s a game I’ve long wanted to play, especially given the tremendous reviews it has received. Due to its fundamentally open world nature I’m not entirely sure how much I’ve completed, only to say so far I’ve got the Master Sword, defeated two divine beasts, and opened up about two-thirds of the map.
But what a joy of a game this is. Its genuinely open world freedom often throws into sharp relief Rockstar’s more scripted efforts in the same genre. A hint of what is to come is in the early hours when I discovered at least four different ways to achieve baked apples. Later I find different solutions to the same shrines, some more difficult than others and probably not always intended.
My experience thus far is that Zelda is somewhat of a slow burner, which becomes more special the longer you play it. It completely and utterly rewards exploration and experimentation. The more you explore the more the game surprises you, often with nuanced environmental puzzles which sometimes at first are not obvious.
That said, however, there are a couple of caveats which have been reflected here in the letters pages over the last few months. In a small way I feel I’m in Red Dead Redemption 2 territory, where the overwhelming 10/10 ‘best game ever’ reviews don’t always tally with my experience of playing the game.
Standing around in suddenly inconvenient rain long enough for me to make a cup of tea in the real world, while waiting to complete a fire-based challenge isn’t fun. Suddenly raining when halfway climbing a mountain isn’t fun either. The biggest problem though is weapon durability. It feels artificial and at odds with the freedom of the rest of the game and I suspect has the opposite effect than intended, in that it makes players reluctant to use the best weapons for fear they will break.
I’ve since read Jim Sterling’s notorious review and I agree with most of his complaints about the game regarding this.
The overall feeling I have is Zelda is very good, which I would recommend wholeheartedly, but a degree of caution about much of reviewers’ hyperbole is necessary regarding elements that prevent this fundamentally from being a 10/10 game. Paul Williams
Inbox also-rans
After reading your review I was quite fancying getting Two Point Hospital for my Switch. However, turn on my Xbox One this evening and there it is sat in Game Pass ready to download. £35 saved straight away. I know Microsoft do get a lot of things wrong, but Game Pass is one they definitely got right. Not quite sure how they do it but I’m not complaining! Saints Stickman (gamertag)
GC: Being filthy rich helps.
Wow I can’t believe this problem exists over so many Nintendo console generations and on 3DS it can possibly brick your 3DS. It’s just a short five-minute video but very interesting. Andrew J.

This week’s Hot Topic
The question for this weekend’s Inbox was suggested by reader Hammeriron, who asks what’s your favourite online multiplayer game?
It can be any game on any format, regardless of whether it also has single-player or offline components. What is it about the game you like so much and how much have you played it? Has the game been running for a long time and if so when did you start and how regularly do you return to it?
In general, how much do you enjoy other online multiplayer titles and is your favourite a one-off of just one of many similar games? If it’s part of a series how often do you buy new entries in the franchise and if it’s unlike your normal taste in games why do you think that is?
The small print New Inbox updates appear every weekday morning, with special Hot Topic Inboxes at the weekend. Readers’ letters are used on merit and may be edited for length.
You can also submit your own 500 to 600-word 4Player viewer features at any time, which if used will be shown in the next available weekend slot.
You can also leave your comments below and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter.
The wait is officially over people because BTS’ Carpool Karaoke is here and it’s everything we hoped for and more.
V, Jungkook, Jimin, RM, Jin, SUGA and J-Hope joined James Corden to sing songs off their new album Map of the Soul: 7 as well as a Bruno Marks and Post Malone cover.
‘I feel like we’re here with the best dancers in the charts right now,’ James said before inviting the boys to teach the class some of their routines. Taking charge, Jimin led the group and honestly, we’ve never been so impressed.
The segment is full of laughter and begins with RM revealing that he taught himself English by watching Friends, before letting loose that Jimin and V are most likely to have arguments over dumplings. SO PURE!

Jimin aka Mochi branded James Papa Mochi (Picture: CBS)
One of the best moments has to be when Jimin, whose nickname is Mochi, called James Papa Mochi.
‘You’re my son!’ cried James. ‘I’m so proud of you,’ to which Jimin replied: ‘I miss you Papa!’
Probably the best part of the whole Carpool Karaoke (Picture: CBS)

On top of belting their hearts out to some killer covers, BTS also perform their comeback title track ON, released just last week.
James has revealed that BTS’ appearance on Carpool Karaoke is ‘already one of his favourites’ and it’s easy to see why.
We’re obsessed.
It’s not their only US telly appearance this week, as the members are set to do their thing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon with a very special performance.
ON comes from their new album Map Of The Soul: 7 which they will take on the road for their world tour later this year, stopping around the US and Europe including two dates at London’s Twickenham Stadium in July.
The south Korean group are on course for their second UK number one album which is outselling new releases from competitors Ozzy Osbourne, Lewis Capaldi and Stormzy combined.
The boys previously made chart history with their UK number one album Map Of The Soul: Persona in 2019.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs on CBS in the US.

Speaking about their night time antics, Paige said: ‘Being in there and sharing a bed for so long and having genuine feelings, it’s hard to fight them.’
‘You go in there and you think, “I’m not going to do it”, all of this, all of that,’ Finn added. ‘But then you’re living 24/7 having genuine solid, feelings for someone and are really attracted to them!
‘And some of them bikinis – phwoar!’
Our new favourite couple (Picture: Rex)
Paige isn’t even mad about what happened between the pair being spoken about among the boys – via the worst ‘breakfast’ code known to man.
‘To be fair, that’s lad banter – so whatever,’ she said, joking: ‘The code was intellectual for the boys. They were terrible at hiding it – I knew exactly what was going on.’
Love Island bosses decided not to show scenes of a sexual nature this year, as most people are aware what happens with the camera footage when they sign up for the show and bosses think it’s ‘been done’.
Speaking to Vice about this year’s couples, voiceover man Iain Stirling admitted: ‘I think there might be a bit less s***ging on TV this year because they know it’ll be on television. But I actually think there might well be s***ging, they’re beautiful young people in a luxury villa – there probably will be some s***ging.
‘Sometimes it’s important for the narrative, but you can tell that story through the conversations afterwards. It’s not a moral question – if anything, that’s less of an issue now, because people coming on are so aware of what happens with the footage from the villa.
He continued: ‘What I don’t know is if we’ll show it. It’s done now – people have s***ged on TV. We broadcasted it before because it was an interesting thing to show and deal with. Now, having sex on telly? It’s done.’

The boys’ long-awaited Carpool Karaoke segment finally arrived on Tuesday night’s edition of The Late Late Show, with RM, Jimin, Suga, V, Jin, J-Hope and Jungkook squeezing into a people carrier to sing some of their biggest tracks with James.
And in between singing, the band had the most fun with the Gavin and Stacey star – particularly Jimin, who established quite the bond with the 41-year-old.

ARMYs will know that Jimin is nicknamed Mochi thanks to his little cheeks making him resemble the Japanese rice cake of the same name, and James had to quiz him on the cute moniker.
He asked: ‘Jimin, I heard you’re Mochi, right?’
Jimin cracked up as RM explained why he was called that – with James then pointing at the singer and branding him ‘Mochi’, much to the amusement of the others.
After RM asked: ‘Why is this so funny?’, Jimin proclaimed to James: ‘You’re Papa Mochi’, with Corden replying: ‘You’re Baby Mochi. You’re my son! I’m so proud of you Baby Mochi!’
And the joke just kept delivering the goods, with James calling Jimin ‘my little Mochi’ and Jimin exclaiming: ‘Papa, I’m hungry Papa!’
The LOLs even transferred to the official The Late Late Show Twitter account, with it being renamed The Late Late Show with PAPA MOCHI.
Brilliant.
James seriously committed to his new role in the band, even joining in on an intense choreography session run by his ‘son’.
And it’s no surprise that Twitter trends were dominated by all things Carpool Karaoke following the show.

The friendship between @latelateshow and @BTS_twt is honestly so heart warming papa mochi really knows how to take care of our boys ð¥°ð #BTSCarpool
During the epic 16 minute segment, BTS sang along to some of their own tracks like Mic Drop, Black Swan and new single ON, as well as covering Finesse by Bruno Mars and Cardi B and Circles by Post Malone.
Can we just make this a weekly thing, James?

Jussie Smollett has pleaded not guilty to the new felony charges (Picture: AP Photo/Matt Marton)
Jussie Smollett has promised to ‘fight or die’ to prove he is innocent of the new charges against him, as he stands accused of staging an attack on himself.
In January 2019, Jussie told Chicago police that he was attacked in the early hours by two men who wore masks and hurled racial and homophobic slurs towards him.
At the end of last year, 16 original charges were dropped but prosecutors filed a fresh set earlier in February.
Despite the renewed interest in his case, Jussie continues to maintain his innocence and believes the ‘truth’ will prevail.
Shortly after landing in Los Angeles on Tuesday with his lawyer, Tina Glandian, Jussie told the Daily Mail reporters: ‘It is definitely frustrating but you just gotta, it’s fight or die at this point, right. I don’t claim to be innocent, I am innocent.’
He added: ‘The truth is the best defence. The truth which they know nothing about.’

Glandian has requested that a judge dismiss the case based on the double jeopardy law, which states that a person cannot be tried for the same offence twice.
When asked if she thinks that argument could stand up in court, Glandian replied: ‘I do that’s why I filed a motion.’
The TV star was released on a $20,000 (£15,200) bond but will appear in court again at a later date.

Last week, special prosecutor Dan Webb – who was appointed in this case to examine the state’s attorney’s office’s handling of the case – explained that he decided to bring charges against Jussie after taking into account the ‘extensive nature’ of his alleged falsehoods, as well as the amount of time and money the Chicago Police Department put into the investigation.
Jussie forfeited his $10,000 (£7,600) in bond money in exchange for the first case’s dismissal, which Webb noted is less than 10 per cent of the approximately $130,000 (£99,300) the police spent on overtime in the case.
After the previous charges against him were dropped, the City of Chicago sued Jussie for around $500,000 (£382,400) to cover various costs, including to compensate for the overtime pay for police who investigated his case.
In response, he filed his own lawsuit seeking to sue the city ‘for their conduct underlying the arrest and their conduct thereafter’.
Jussie’s next court date is set for 18 March.

The 71-year-old said: ‘I am making another album because while I can’t tour, I can make music.
‘What I learned from Ordinary Man, it got the juices flowing again. People say they write the best songs when they’re unhappy, and I was unhappy last year. I am going to do another album next month.’
Ozzy was forced to cancel the North American leg of his tour to focus on his health.
The announcement came earlier this month, weeks after he opened up about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

The singer explained why his songs on Ordinary Man felt like ‘a farewell’: ‘After my neck surgery I was feeling pretty down so I was not going to write how happy I was being in agony.’
From contracting what could have been a potentially deadly staph infection in 2018 to suffering a bout of pneumonia and bronchitis in February last year and being diagnosed with a type of Parkinson’s, Ozzy really has been through it all.
Speaking at the iHeart Radio ICONS with Ozzy Osbourne event in California, he said: ‘‘This last year, I’ve been in a bad state health-wise. I had surgery on my spine which has f**ked me up.’
Ozzy fell over in his bathroom and was forced to have 15 screws in his spine, as the fall dislodged metal rods previously put in his spine following a quad-bike accident in 2003.

Sue Perkins’ new show has been axed by BBC2 (Picture: PA)
Sue Perkins’ game show Insert Name Here has been axed by BBC Two.
The former Great British Bake Off host fronted the competition for four series and three Christmas specials, but it will not return this year.
The ill-fated format follows other works by the comic in the wake of her leaving GBBO to be cancelled, including her Generation Game reboot and The Big Spell, which aired on Sky One.
Insert Name Here saw two teams of three players competing to answer questions based on celebrities that shared the same name.
The show’s latest series averaged less than a million viewers for each episode, with its final instalment seeing just 520,000 viewers tune in.
A source told The Sun that: ‘Unfortunately, the ratings did begin to slide a bit for this so BBC bosses have decided to put it out of its misery.
‘It had some good guests and a pair of good team captains in Josh Widdicombe and Richard Osman, but unfortunately, poor ratings mean it’s no more.’

The programme’s struggles to find an audience, of course, are in sharp contrast to Bake Off at its height, which saw over 16 million tune in to see Candice Brown crowned the best baker in Britain.
Sue and her co-host Mel Giedroyc left the phenomenon along with judge Mary Berry when it moved from the BBC to Channel 4.
Speaking on the axe, a spokesperson from the BBC said: ‘We’ve launched a wide range of new entertainment and comedy ideas on the channel over the last few years, from I’ll Get This and The Mash Report to The Ranganation.
‘There are no plans to bring Insert Name Here back, we loved it and Sue was a brilliant host, but we want to continue innovating with new entertainment on the channel.’
Airing on Sky this year, the sitcom will follow contract killers Jamie and Fran, who are absolutely useless at their jobs.
Hitmen airs on Sky this year at an as-yet-unconfirmed date.

The singer met Jude Law’s son on the set of their Oliver Twist remake, Twist, and were spotted hanging out with each other on numerous occasions.
They made their ‘romance’ public after being pictured at the British Fashion Awards together in December.
A source close to the singer told The Sun: ‘Rita really got on with Raff on set and they had great chemistry.
‘They grew close while they were both working in London, although they were just taking each day as it came and weren’t in a rush to label anything or move too quickly.
‘But Rita has spent so long out of the country now and they’re not talking as much as they were, let alone doing the things couples do when they’re together. Things are on ice until they’re back in the same country.’
The insider continued: ‘They might pick up again then, but at the moment they are more like friends.’

Meanwhile, Rafferty has been in London hanging out with his mum Sadie Frost.
He brought his quirky sense of style to the bash, held at The Standard hotel in the capital, and wasn’t afraid to give double denim a go as he paired a jacket and jeans together with a fun printed shirt.
Sadie, meanwhile, looked lovely in green glitter trousers, a patterned jacket and heels and looked every inch the proud mumma, as she celebrated Rafferty landing one of Love Magazine’s Spring 2020 covers.
He joins the likes of models Nyasha Matonhodze and Lily McMenamy, Bella Hadid, Erin O’Connor and Sienna Miller, who was previously engaged to his dad Jude Law.
Jude was previously married to Sadie for six years and they share three kids; Rafferty, daughter Iris, 19, who is also breaking out into the modelling world, and son Rudy, 17.

Bill Turnbull had a bit of a mare on today’s Good Morning Britain as he lost his earpiece causing mayhem in the process.
The 64-year-old presenter, who’s currently stepping in for Piers Morgan on the ITV daytime show, misplaced the microscopic microphone when the show went to an ad break, with the crew rushing onto the set en masse to help locate it.
Co-host Susanna Reid explained the nightmare situation when the programme returned and played a hilarious clip showing the team frantically searching.
‘If you think we staged this, we absolutely did not!’ Susanna began. ‘This is what happened in the break.’
Describing the size of the item, Bill added: ‘It’s about the size of a five pence piece.’

‘I wonder, if you’re at home could you just have a look around the back of the telly in case it’s there,’ he continued.
Luckily though, a member of the crew then interrupted Susanna and Bill to reveal that he’d spotted it wedged in-between Bill’s script.
‘Unbelievable!’ Bill gasped before chucking it back at the team member.

Audiences were in stitches over the scenes, and shared their opinions on Twitter, writing: ‘Absolutely hilarious. Bill needs to stay.’
‘I have loved watching Bill this week. So much fun. Such a gentleman. Please come back soon,’ added another.
‘Pinch me, pinch me. I can’t believe this is really happening!’ Bill exclaimed as he sat in the studio. ‘It’s so exciting.’
Susanna then opened her arms and gave Bill a hug, before explaining that it had been quite some time since they were last at the helm of a television show.
‘We last presented together six years ago,’ she told audiences. ‘We launched BBC Breakfast’s move to Salford back in 2012.
‘We joked that you should come back when Piers wasn’t here on the air in front of Piers… and someone took it seriously!’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
