Katy Perry has shown her fellow American Idol judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan exactly where she and fiancé Orlando Bloom got engaged.

The sweet pair got engaged on Valentine’s Day last year – and in a preview clip for the next episode of the singing competition, Katy took Lionel and Luke to the very rooftop in Los Angeles where Orlando popped the question.

In the clip, obtained by People, the three judges can be seen taking in all of the glorious sights surrounding them, as Katy points out the Hollywood sign in the far distance.

‘Look! You can even see the Hollywood sign over there,’ she gushes. ‘This is a view.’

‘That’s a good omen,’ Richie replies.

She then exclaims: ‘This is the actual rooftop, this is where Orlando and I got engaged. He asked me to marry him on a helicopter and we landed the helicopter actually on this rooftop. I just am feeling all the feelings.’

As the judges returned to the audition room, Katy then revealed that her partner had surprised her in this very room with a party, with all of her family and friends attending.

She continued: ‘Oh my God, I remember this awning. We were all out here. My whole family and friends, he had surprised me. Everyone was wearing matching sweaters. It was really sweet. It was so beautiful – all in this room.

‘It’s here, I’m happy to celebrate it again.’

Katy and Orlando started dating in January 2016, and split a year later – but the pull was too strong, as they reunited in April 2018, with Katy confirming their engagement last year.

And recently, the Firework hitmaker paid tribute to Orlando’s proposal to her, one year on.

Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old shared a series of black and white snaps from the surprise party that the Pirates Of The Caribbean star had thrown her on her last V-Day, where he got down on one knee in front of her family and friends.

The last picture showed Orlando playfully grinding against Katy, because why not?

‘One year ago I said yes to a life of love and evolution… and definitely never a dull moment,’ she wrote.

Orlando then later responded with his own Instagram post, telling his followers: ‘Love hard love deep love long love strong just love, @ a bunch of lovers happy #valentines love y’all.’

Too adorable for words.

WWE confirmed some huge matches for WrestleMania 36 on SmackDown this week, with two blockbuster bouts set for the Show of Shows.

In the main event segment of the evening, John Cena arrived to a huge hometown reaction as he played to get the crowd and thanked them for an amazing welcome back.

He teased what his WrestleMania role was going to be this year, as he insisted he will always be a WWE superstar but he wants to do something different and really listen to the fans.

While no one wants to miss the extravaganza, Cena noted the fans are passionate about the future, and while he can likely do anything he wants in Tampa this year, he said the show should go on without him.

He added this isn’t goodbye, but simply the right thing for this year as WrestleMania should have people who earned their spots rather than demanded them.

The Hollywood star said he doesn’t know when he’ll be back, but he wanted to make this announcement in front of his family in Boston – and then he started to leave.

However, as he was making his way out, shaking hands with kids in the crowd and standing on the ramp, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt appeared behind him and pointed at the WrestleMania sign.

Cena tipped his hat and accepted the silent challenge as the show went off air.

This was an absolutely fantastic way to build to a massive match for WrestleMania, with Cena returning to face a familiar foe with an entirely new twist thanks to Wyatt’s character change, and the crowd bought into every moment of this.

Thankfully, the incredible ovation The Fiend received when he appeared shows the loss to Goldberg at Super ShowDown shouldn’t have damaged his stock, and a win over a bona fide Hollywood name at Mania will set him back on the right track.

Speaking of Bill Goldberg, our new Universal Champion made his way out at the top of Friday’s show, and it’s probably fair to say he isn’t as popular with the fans as he might have been.

He said it’s not about who’s last, but who’s next – and Roman Reigns’ music hit to a fantastic reaction from the live crowd as the Big Dog walked out.

The two behemoths stared each other down for a long time, soaking up the atmosphere, before Reigns simply said: ‘I’m next.’

Thankfully this was kept short and sweet, with WWE for once embracing a ‘less is more’ tactic here – and they may finally get a good reaction to a Reigns title win at WrestleMania this time round.

Elsewhere on the show, Sasha Banks made her return before Bayley match with Naomi, and then attacking the latter during the bout for the disqualification with Lacey Evans making the save.

Naomi pinned the SmackDown Women’s champion with a sunset flip in the subsequent tag match, and it was odd to see Bayley and Banks lose on the Boss and Hug Connection’s first night back together for a little while.

Continuing a genuinely great episode of SmackDown, WWE also put a twist on the usual contract signing trope as Braun Strowman and Shinsuke Nakamura sought to make their upcoming match official for the Elimination Chamber PPV.

However, Sami Zayn – who as ever as out with Naks and Cesaro – took the Monster Among Men literally when he said he didn’t care if he had to fight all three of them, and amended the contract to make it a handicap match before the expected beatdown.

No, it won’t hold up in the court, but this was a nice spin and a great heel move.

This week’s SmackDown was a marked improvement, with a couple of great matches – Kofi Kingston vs. Robert Roode is worth your time – and segments, and build for both Mania and the Chamber PPV next Sunday.

The SmackDown Tag Team Titles will be on the line on March 8, with John Morrison and The Miz stepping into the Elimination Chamber itself against The Usos, Roode and Dolph Ziggler, HEavy Machinery, Lucha House Party and The New Day.

Kylie Jenner has set tongues wagging after posting a string of romantic snaps with her ex-beau Travis Scott.

The duo, who share two-year-old daughter Stormi, split at the end of October last year but have since remained close friends.

And it seems the beauty mogul is doing nothing to quash rumours that they’re getting back together.

Taking to Instagram, the 22-year-old shared a series of throwback snaps of herself looking all loved up next to the Sicko Mode hitmaker.

Alongside the photos, the mother-of-one wrote: ‘It’s a mood,’ and we’re waiting with bated breath for a confirmation that they’ve rekindled their relationship.

Speculation that the pair were back on started when a source claimed Kylie is ‘very happy’ with Travis but is waiting for more ‘commitment’ from him before she even begins to think about a public reconciliation.

‘They are very happy. It seems too early to say that they are officially back together, though,’ an insider told People.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star reportedly ‘doesn’t want the pressure to announce that they are back together until there is more of a commitment from Travis’.

‘But they are great together. And of course, it’s best for Stormi to have both parents around as much as possible,’ the source added.

Kylie has previously spoken about their current bond, where she revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that she is best friends with Trav.

‘We have such a great relationship. We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her,’ she told the publication.

‘We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.’

The make-up guru has been splitting parenting duties with her man, seeing the former couple come together to celebrate Stormi’s second birthday together too.

Kylie and Travis were on hand to provide all the fun at StormiWorld – a theme park dedicated to their youngster.

Disgraced director Roman Polanski sparked a furious walkout at an awards show after winning two gongs.

The 86-year-old – who is wanted in the US for the statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl in 1977 – received 12 nominations for An Officer And A Spy at the Cesars in Paris on Friday.

When he won best director and best adapted screenplay, actresses Adele Haenel and Céline Sciamma stormed out of the ceremony, with Adele crying out: ‘Shame!’

They were joined by many other members of the audience and were praised widely on social media for their ‘strength and courage’ in walking out.

Host Florence Foresti also didn’t return to the stage, writing on Instagram that she was ‘disgusted’.

Speaking ahead of the Cesars, the 31-year-old condemned the critical recognition Polanski was receiving.

‘Distinguishing Polanski is spitting in the face of all victims,’ she said.

‘It means raping women isn’t that bad.’

Polanski pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor – a charge which was dropped from rape – after having sex with 13-year-old Samantha Gailey.

Fellow director Quentin Tarantino defended Roman and said Samantha was ‘down with it’. 

Upon learning he was going to be jailed, Polanski – who is suing the Oscars – fled the country and the charges are still pending.

In October 2017 he was accused by a second woman of molesting her when she was 10 in 1975, but prosecutors later said the statute of limitations had expired and they would not bring charges.

The entire French academy of the Cesars was forced to resign earlier this month amid fury that Polanski had topped the list of nominations.

Protesters chanting ‘Lock up Polanski!’ tried to storm the theatre where the ceremony was being held before being pushed back by police firing tear gas.

And France’s Culture Minister Franck Riester had warned that giving the director a Cesar would be ‘symbolically bad given the stance we must take against sexual and sexist violence’.

Polanski and the entire team of his historical drama had boycotted the ceremony, fearing a ‘public lynching’.

An Officer And A Spy is based on the Dreyfus affair which divided France in the late 19th century when a Jewish army officer was wrongly prosecuted for spying.

‘What place can there be in such deplorable conditions for a film about the defence of truth, the fight for justice, (against) blind hate and anti-Semitism?’ the director told AFP.

Celebs Go Dating narrator Rob Beckett doesn’t miss a trick and, on Friday night’s show, he spotted something rather rude when Amy Childs was on her way to her date.

The 29-year-old is currently looking for love on the E4 show and was set up with Otto by dating coaches Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson.

The former reality star was sat in the back of the cab, as she innocently considered that maybe she should ask more questions during her dates.

However, the hilarious comedian couldn’t help but draw attention to something else.

As the car went past a street lamp, there it was lit up on the windowpane, yep a penis.

Rob asked: ‘I’ve got a question – is that a c**k and balls on the window?’

It appeared that a previous passenger decided to leave the creative sketch on the glass. Or it could have been Amy – you never know!

Fans took to social media to praise how hilarious Rob is. Because let’s face it, he is.

One tweeted: ‘Could Rob Beckett get any more funnier?’

Another commented: ‘Also Rob Beckett makes this whole show,’ while one more added: ‘Rob Beckett makes my life.’

Elsewhere on the show, Made In Chelsea star Olivia Bentley didn’t have a great first date, with the episode showing her storming out of the restaurant.

It all kicked off when her potential flame was late, and then things went from bad to worse after Otto shared a few too many details about a previous fling.

Poor Liv ended the day by telling him: ‘[You’re] a disgrace. You’re a liberty.’

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has apologised for his ‘unprofessional behaviour’ at a concert in Chile after fans were left outraged.

The singer took to Instagram to film a video after the band’s performance at the prestigious Vina del Mar festival.

Describing the event as a ‘rite of passage’, he firstly thanked fans for having him and the band.

He said: ‘I am so excited and passionate about concerts and about being my best, and about the band being our best…’

‘Performing, I take so seriously – sometimes too seriously – and to be totally frank, there were some things holding me back sonically last night and I let them get to me and it impacted how I was behaving on stage, which was unprofessional and I apologise for that.’

The Girls Like You hitmaker, who previously performed at the Super Bowl, added: ‘It’s always in the interest of being my best and representing the band in the best way.

‘Sometimes when those technical problems take place, I zero in and focus as much as I can on singing because I feel like that will be the best way to put this thing out on TV for 60 million people, which was what that show was last night.

‘I wanted to sound good number one, and I wanted to look good and feel good number two, because if it doesn’t sound good, what’s the point?’

The star admitted: ‘I did let you guys down and I’m sorry.’

He went on to say: ‘We adore our Chilean fans, we absolutely love coming here. Last night wasn’t our best, and for that all I can say is I’m really sorry.’

Fans were left outraged by the band’s performance at the concert, with one fuming on Twitter: ‘Adam levine went to a latin american festival arrived 30 min late dressed with dirty clothes sang like s*** and after that insulted the city and their people this will obviously be forgotten in a week but i imagine a woman doing this and i know her career would be over forever.’

‘Can y’all believe #Maroon5 just did the s***tiest show ever?’ another asked.

‘The biggest indecency I’ve seen in shows. Boring. Deflated No desire Without energy. My neighbor’s cat has more enthusiasm than Adam Levine,’ one more said.

Some fans, meanwhile, have been supportive of the singer, with one writing: ‘Ok before everyone goes crazy on Maroon 5 and @adamlevine please stop and ask yourself if you have ever had a rough day at work.

‘These are people, not robots. People have days they are tired, exhausted, sad, frustrated, etc. so chill out. #Maroon5.’

Another said: ‘Thank you for apologizing, @adamlevine. I’m sorry for being so rude before, that was unnecessary (these are hard times in our country, human rights are being violated, we’re all quite jumpy). I hope we all learn from this.’

The Love Island finalists returned home earlier this week and it seems there is already ongoing drama between this year’s contestants.

Despite a number of heads being turned in Casa Amor, Biggs Chris has revealed the bombshell ‘rejects’ have formed their own WhatApp group, away from the original cast.

When chatting with The Sun Online, the 27-year-old spoke about a divide after the dumped islanders formed a bond when leaving the villa.

‘The Casa Amor boys are really tight,’ he explained to the publication.

‘Everyone who joined Casa Amor is in a WhatsApp group, “the Casa rejects”. None of the originals are in there.’

The reality star went on to claim that there’s a ‘split’ between the Casa Amor group and the original contestants.

It comes after Biggs was spotted looking all loved up with Rebecca Gormley, as he took her for a romantic meal – to the kebab shop.

Taking to social media, the 21-year-old model shared a string of pictures of herself chomping down on a mighty feast.

She wrote to her followers: ‘Just had my first @germandonerkebabuk & it was absolutely naughty! I will definitely be going back#kebabsdoneright #ad.’

Her man also shared a similar snap, adding: ‘Cheat meal @germandonerkebabuk I can officially say that’s the best kebab I’ve ever had! Soooo Tastyy.’

The pair may not have found love inside the villa, however, they have since confirmed their new budding romance to The Sun – and we’re more than happy for them.

As for our finalists, it appears they’re still just as loved up in the outside world as they were on the show.

Luke Trotman has recently revealed he had sex with Siannise Fudge at the first opportunity after leaving the villa.

The couple were beaten by Paige Turley and Finley Tapp at the final hurdle, but they haven’t let that put a downer on their romance.

And, giving us a throwback to the boys’ subtle sex code in the villa, Luke T lifted the lid on their breakfast habits.

‘[The] first thing we did after leaving the villa, was had a full English breakfast,’ the 22-year-old said.

Police rushed to Chad Johnson’s house over ‘suicide fears’ after he posted a disturbing photo of a rope.

The reality star, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017, sparked concern after sharing a snap of a rope hanging from a door, which he captioned: ‘It’ll be okay.’

His friend contacted police for a ‘possible suicidal person’ and cops immediately went to his San Fernando Valley home to perform a welfare check, TMZ reported.

Chad’s pal had also been worried as the former Bachelorette star wasn’t answering their calls.

Police spoke to Chad and deemed that he wasn’t a threat to himself or others.

Chad later deleted the rope image but has since posted a video on his Instagram Stories of his wallet and sunglasses on a table, with what appears to be the same rope in the foreground.

The welfare check came two days after the Bachelor Nation star was arrested after getting into a fight with his ex-girlfriend Annalise Mishler.

Police showed up at Annalise’s apartment after a row allegedly got physical, found red marks on Annalise’s face and arrested Chad for felony domestic violence as well as a robbery charge.

Annalise claimed Chad punched a hole in her wall and alleged that he got physical with her after reportedly drinking for the first time in 50 days.

She shared footage of him appearing to yell threatening things from outside her flat.

Chad strongly denied hurting her during the argument and said he’s ‘100 per cent confident any type of domestic abuse charges are gonna be dropped’.

In a three-minute clip on Instagram, the Bachelor In Paradise star said: ‘There was never any domestic abuse of any kind – I have never laid hands on a woman anytime in my entire life.

‘I was in the Marine core; I was taught core values, I have a sister, I am a very overprotective brother, if she ever felt in danger, I would want her to call.’

He added: ‘If any women out there ever feel like they are in any danger, I urge you to call 911.’

The BBC has been flooded with more than 100 complaints after it gave ‘too much coverage’ to Caroline Flack’s death.

Caroline, 40, took her own life on 15 February after a friend who was staying with her had just ‘popped to the shops’, briefly leaving her alone in the flat she had been staying in.

According to the website, it received several complaints from viewers ‘who felt there was too much news coverage of the death of TV presenter, Caroline Flack’.

While the BBC hasn’t revealed the number of complaints they have received, Metro.co.uk understands they will have received more than 100 from viewers.

The website states that it only responds to complaints of a ‘wide audience concern which have either generated significant numbers of complaints or raised significant issues’.

The BBC has since defended its coverage after releasing a statement that reads: ‘We believe this was a considerable and newsworthy story, given Caroline Flack’s notable career in the media industry, and the circumstances leading up to her tragic and sudden death.

‘We recognise that not everyone will agree with the decisions taken by our news editors, but would stress other major stories were also given prominence including Storm Dennis and coronavirus.’

The complaints come after Caroline’s assault case was formally closed by the Crown Prosecution Service 10 days after her death.

The Love Island host was previously arrested for assault following an argument with her boyfriend, Lewis Burton.

The 40-year-old had always denied the assault claims, and her family has since released an Instagram post that she was advised not to share before her death.

A spokesperson for the CPS confirmed to The Sun that they had closed the case 10 days after her death.

It is not the first time the BBC has been hit with complaints about their coverage.

Earlier this month it also received more than 100 complaints about their coverage of the deaths of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter.

Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna lost their lives in a helicopter crash on 26 January, alongside seven other victims.

Ty Tennant is about to break out into the world of television in his first major role in War Of The Worlds – and luckily for him, he has some handy mentors there for him in dad David Tennant and mum Georgia Tennant.

The 17-year-old actor will be taking on the role of Tom – whose family is thrown into chaos as they try and survive an alien invasion on the world.

It’s something his Doctor Who-led family are all too familiar with in terms of a plot, but when it comes to advice, David and Georgia are making sure he’s keeping his feet firmly on the ground – no matter how big his star might rise.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Ty explained: ‘When it comes to most of the auditions that I do, they really help me out. Figuring out how I’m going to do it when I go in, what the character should feel like.

‘My first day on set, properly, before I went up to Cardiff, I had a pep talk with my parents and they were like “this is your first proper day at work, and you’re going to enjoy it most of the time, and you’re going to really have a good time. But there are some things to keep in mind.”’

‘So always be on time, always know your lines. There’s a thing about the lunch queue, and to never skip the lunch queue,’ the teen continued.

‘The kind of odd thing about being on set that the crew are treated differently to the cast, and my parents basically said: Don’t push in front of the queue just because you’re an actor,’ he explained.

‘Treat everyone the same, because if you take one person out of the crew or the cast, it completely jumbles up the whole set so you need to stick together as a team. You’re each as worthy as one another.’

With his grandfather being Doctor Who’s Pete Davison, and his mum, Georgia meeting his dad David also on the set of the long-running BBC series, it’s pretty obvious from the start that acting, and sci-fi, is in Ty’s blood.

Despite him admitting he’d love to become the third generation of Doctor in his family, he’s found himself his own route in the new Fox series, War Of The Worlds – a modern day adaptation of the HG Wells classic, falling in a more similar line to the Walking Dead (but you know… with aliens.)

Though there was a moment where Ty admitted that he wanted to buck the family trend completely, and lead a life far away from the spotlight.

He told us: ‘My whole family are actors, so I also wanted to be one. There was a period of time where I was questioning being an actor, or if I wanted to do something else.

‘I was considering doing computer coding for a while, weirdly, because I’m a bit of a computer geek.’

‘My mum wanted me to be whatever I wanted to be,’ the actor added. ‘When I made the decision to be an actor, she wanted me to be happy, and whatever I’d chosen, she’d have been 100% there for.’

Now he’s full-speed ahead by following his family heritage – and even presented an award at this year’s NTAs alongside dad David.

‘I have a massive passion for drama,’ he told us. ‘I’m looking to explore all the roles that I can get.’

War Of The Worlds starts 5 March at 9pm in the UK.

Taking to Instagram, DS Steve Arnott actor Martin Compston joined his co-stars for a bite to eat at the capital’s Six by Nico restaurant.

Sharing a picture of himself sat alongside Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and show creator Jed Mercurio, the 35-year-old beamed down the lens while awaiting his food.

In the caption, he told his 174,000 followers: ‘Great people, incredible food as ever.’

Jed also shared the same picture, and added: ‘Big night out at @SixbyNicoBEL to celebrate first two weeks of filming #LineofDuty6.

‘BBCOne @worldprods with @martin_compston @Vicky_McClure and The Gaffer Adrian Dunbar who’s interested in one thing and one thing only and that’s fish suppers.’

Fans were left wondering where their invite was as they shared their excitement for the series’ next installment in the comments.

‘What we would give to be sat at this table!!!!’ one wrote while another added: ‘DS Steve Arnott back in action soon.’

Others tried to solve the current mystery, joking: ‘We should’ve gone tonight – could have asked who H was.’

Just recently, Jed teased fans who H might be with a behind-the-scenes picture of our favourite detectives.

The snap showed Steve (Martin Compston) and Kate (Vicky McClure) firing a gun at one another while Ted (Adrian Dunbar) lay dead (or asleep) on a chair in the middle of the office.

But the main attraction of the picture was the gigantic letter ‘H’ that was resting upon Ted’s lap.

In the caption to the photo, Jed tweeted: ‘A great first week of filming Line of Duty Series six. Here’s a publicity shot that’s been approved 100% spoiler-free by ⁦BBC press.’

From the first-ever season, the identity of ‘H’ has kept fans on the edge of their seats, with Ted being accused of the mysterious villain.

Although at the end of season five he was cleared of being a suspect, and it was revealed that ‘H’ was, in fact, four crooks instead of one.

But now this photo has been released, we can’t help but come up with even more theories – and we need answers.

Line of Duty is expected to return to BBC One later this year.

Avril Lavigne has reportedly postponed the Asian leg of her Head Above Water world tour over coronavirus fears.

The Complicated singer has pulled out of 12 dates in Asia, including in Shanghai, the Philippines, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taiwan, according to TMZ.

The 35-year-old’s shows in Asia are set to kick off on April 23 in Shenzhen, China.

Sources claimed Avril team are hoping to reschedule the show at a later date once coronavirus is under control.

She joins musicians like BTS and Green Day in cancelling upcoming shows in Asia amid the virus outbreak.

The Sk8er Boi singer’s tour starts next month in Europe – with concerts in Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, the UK and more.

It is not known if her European dates will be affected by the reported cancellations.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Avril’s reps for comment. 

Avril has already had to cancel her gig in Switzerland on March 13 following a ban any events with more than 1,000 guests until at least March 15 in a bid to combat the spread of coronavirus.

The singer shared her ‘disappointment’ at the cancellation on her Instagram Stories.

WWE’s King Corbin has given us his best Deontay Wilder, blaming his wardrobe choice for his recent loss.

When in doubt, blame the clothes, right?

The star suffered a humbling loss against Roman Reign, taking to Twitter to explain why he thinks things went so badly wrong, attaching a snap of him in his robe, chainmail and crown.

‘I’m never gonna take anything away with from Roman Reign’s preparation for a main event steel cage match,’ he wrote.

‘I was prepared … but I didn’t think of the toll my entrance gear (the chainmail, my robe) and entrance would take on my body. Three min in my legs were tired.’

Wilder had previously claimed that his ‘heavy outfit’ was to blame for his epic loss against Tyson Fury this month.

‘He didn’t hurt me at all, but the simple fact is … that my uniform was way too heavy for me,’ Wilder told Yahoo Sports.

‘I didn’t have no legs from the beginning of the fight. In the third round, my legs were just shot all the way through. But I’m a warrior and people know that I’m a warrior. It could easily be told that I didn’t have legs or anything.

‘A lot of people were telling me, “It looked like something was wrong with you.” Something was, but when you’re in the ring, you have to bluff a lot of things. I tried my best to do so. I knew I didn’t have the legs because of my uniform.’

And fans are living for King Corbin’s reference.

‘You the goat for this tweet,’ one told him, with another adding: ‘I understand the reference. Til’ this day!’

One more simply pointed out: ‘THE SHAAAADE.’

If you’re ever in any doubt about the comedy gold that is Ryan Reynolds, let us direct you to his latest video.

The Deadpool actor gave us all the top lols when he decided to treat Arlene Manko, an 86-year-old woman born on a leap day, to her first legal drink.

The frankly delightful Arlene’s birthday only comes around every four years – meaning THIS is the year she technically turns 21.

Naturally, Ryan wanted her first official dalliance with alcohol to be special, so he treated Arlene to a drink from his Aviation Gin Company.

He made a clip of her trying out the beverage in a video posted on Instagram and it’s absolutely brilliant.

Sitting in an armchair, Arlene kicked things off by announcing that she was technically five when she got married.

Ryan, who was the voice-over, explained: ‘Arlene has never had a legal drink in her life.’

The octogenarian looked unimpressed as she deadpanned to the camera: ‘I had seven kids in 10 years – do you think sometimes I didn’t want a drink?’

She went on: ‘Following the rules and doing what you’re told is important… but I’m ready to party.’

GO ON, ARLENE YOU LEGEND.

She then tipped her head back and took a deep sip of Ryan’s drink, before smacking her lips and declaring: ‘Holy Moses!’

Cementing her status as our new favourite person, Arlene also looked baffled as she admitted: ‘I didn’t know who Ryan Reynolds was.’

Ryan wasn’t having any of it.

He quipped in the voice-over: ‘Ignore her. She’s been drinking.’

Bravo. Truly bravo.

The Proposal actor captioned the clip: ‘Arlene Manko was born in 1936. But tomorrow, she’ll turn 21 years old. #HappyLeapDay.’

Ry Ry’s showbiz pals were loving the clips just as much as us, with Reese Witherspoon commenting, ‘Holy Moses ! 😂’ and Jodie Comer adding: ‘Genius.’

Ryan’s no stranger to a hilarious video, having recently teamed up with Sandra Bullock to wish Betty White a happy 98th birthday in the most glorious way.

Loose Women host Linda Robson has revealed Stacey Solomon rushed her to rehab after she hit rock bottom during a trip to Ibiza.

The 61-year-old is hopeful that speaking about her own experience will help others in a similar situation.

The Birds of a Feather actress explained that her anxiety began in 2008, when her son Louis, now 28, had been out with a friend the night he was stabbed and died at the scene.

The mum-of-three revealed since that day she’s been feeling completely different when it comes to the safety of her children.

During her holiday with Stacey, Nadia Sawalha, Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and Saira Khan, Linda recalled how she turned to alcohol to cope and revealed she would get into a ‘terrible state’ if she couldn’t reach her family.

Linda said: ‘I felt like I wanted to die because I wasn’t enjoying life like I’d used to. I had reached breaking point.’

As she returned to London, Linda agreed with her family that she should go to a rehabilitation centre.

She added to The Sun: ‘Stacey came with me. I was in a terrible state, so we played games on her phone just to try and distract me.

‘I was thinking, “What am I going to do? Where am I going? I was scared embarrassed and ashamed because my kids had been told their mum was in a state and needs help.’

After deciding that the rehab centre wasn’t right, Linda found another clinic where she stayed for six weeks.

During her stay, Linda revealed her anti-depressants were upped due to her anxiety and OCD getting so bad.

It was only after another stint in a rehab centre that the actress discovered her behaviour was actually due to an allergic reaction to an anti-depressant.

After having a break from her TV duties, Linda returned to Loose Women in October last year.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.

Hilary Duff has begged Disney+ to move the Lizzie McGuire reboot over to Hulu, in order for the show to drop its PG rating.

The star recently suggested that the hotly anticipated series could suffer the same fate as queer teen movie Love, Simon – which was pulled from the network after it was no longer considered ‘family-friendly’.

And now the mum-of-one is fighting for the move, so she can give the much-loved character the story she deserves.

Taking to Instagram, the 32-year-old shared her plea in a statement to her 14.7million followers.

‘Was incredibly excited to launch Lizzie on D+ and my passion remains,’ she started the post.

‘However, I feel a huge responsibility to honour the fans’ relationship with Lizzie who, like me, grew up seeing themselves in her.’

The actress continued: ‘I’d be doing a disservice to everyone by limiting the realities of a 30-year-old’s journey to live under the ceiling of a PG rating.

‘It’s important to me that just as her experiences as a preteen/teenager navigating life were authentic, her next chapters are equally as real and relatable.

‘It would be a dream if Disney would let us move the show to Hulu, if they were interested, and I could bring this beloved character to life again.’

Fans and celebrities alike were quick to comment and threw their support behind Hilary.

Singer Allison Paige, wrote: ‘YES!! Thank you for honoring the voice of Lizzie as a grown woman for all the other grown men and woman who related to her so much when they were young!’

Other’s were in agreement: ‘Yasssss!! Raise your voice, girl,’ while someone else added: ‘Love you. Love Lizzie. Love you looking out for her AND the fans!!!’

Not everyone was convinced, however: ‘Honestly I get that but one thing people love about Lizzie is how clean it was. The world especially TV is no longer clean.

‘Even fuller house converted to pleasing the world. Please, Hilary, don’t do the same thing. We need clean TV.’

Earlier this month, the star shared a screenshot of a news article where she circled the headline which read: ‘Love, Simon TV show pulled from Disney+ as it’s not “family-friendly”.

Along with the snap, she simply wrote: ‘Sounds familiar’.

Emma Thompson and her husband Greg Wise have left Britain for good and moved to Venice.

Good on ’em!

Room for one more in your (we presume) massive Italian villa?

In the wake of Brexit, the Last Christmas star and her actor hubby of 17 years have registered in the iconic lagoon city and are now official citizens.

Apparently, they already have a house in Venice so moving in has been smooth sailing and they’ve been brushing up on their Italian with intensive lessons.

Dame Emma, 60, signed formal documents last week and said in Italian that becoming an honorary citizen was ‘the realisation of a dream she had cherished for years’.

The couple now have the same rights to healthcare, work and study as an Italian citizen.

They’ve still got their British passports too, btw.

The move isn’t all that surprising, what with Emma previously declaring she feels ‘European’ and calling Brexit ‘madness’.

‘Oh my God, it would be madness not to [vote remain]. It would be a crazy idea not to. We should be taking down borders, not putting them up,’ she said back in 2016.

And what about the kids?

Emma and Greg, 53  – who played Earl Mountbatten in The Crown – are, after all, parents to 20-year-old daughter, Gaia, and an adopted son, Tindy, in his 30s.

We’re not sure if they’re moving abroad too but tbh, they’ll be getting a trip to Italy every time they want to check in with the ‘rents so we don’t think they’re too bothered.

The couple, who married in 2003 after meeting in 1995 on the set of Sense and Sensibility, have two other houses – a mansion in West Hampstead, north London and a Scottish holiday home.

Let’s just hope that now they’ve moved to Venice, Emma and Greg will be a bit more festive when Christmas comes around, ey?

Nicolas Cage looked like quite the world traveller as he arrived at New York’s JFK airport with his rumoured new girlfriend, after visiting his own tomb.

You know, as you do.

The Face/Off actor was snapped looking content, clutching his new beau’s hand, as well as a huge stuffed whale toy from Atlanta Aquarium.

It seems he’s not being stingy on the souvenir front.

While Nicolas’ lady looked fashion-forward in an all-black look, the actor curiously decided to don a full suit for the flight, accessorising with a hat and shades – possibly to keep him on the downlow.

The 56-year-old’s definitely not had the most conventional getaway, after recently visiting his own tomb at St Louis Cemetery No 1 in the French Quarter in New Orleans.

Back in 2010, the actor bought two plots within New Orleans’ oldest cemetery and a huge pyramid tomb now sits in one of them.

It stands out among the centuries-old burials that sit within the cemetery and the empty stone tomb stands at 9ft tall. It has, ‘Omnia Ab Uno’ printed across it which translates as ‘Everything From One’.

The cemeteries in New Orleans are of huge importance to those that live there and the above-ground burials – the dead have to be buried above ground in New Orleans because the city’s water table is so high that flooding pushed coffins above the surface – are used again and again within one family.

Nicolas has never publicly commented on why he snapped up the plots for himself – but it seems he was keen to show his companion.

The star has been thriving since the beginning of this year, after buying everyone in a small Somerset pub a drink.

As well as happily posing for photos behind the bar, Nicolas also splashed out on a round of drinks for all the punters to ring in 2020.

He might be unconventional, but he’s definitely still a legend.

The Walking Dead season 10 shocked fans with its comeback after the midseason break.

While Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) were trapped in a cave with Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) horde, the Whisperer leader found herself getting it on with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) above ground.

Yes, the villains of the show left viewers squirming in their chairs in one heck of a creepy sex scene, seeing Alpha wear nothing but her skin mask (and socks).

But while we were under the illusion that the pair were completely butt naked, it turns out the Saviour star was actually wearing a ‘beige-coloured diaper’.

Talking about the scene to Entertainment Weekly, Norman explained what went on behind-the-scenes as he joked his friends refused to take their kit off.

‘I do remember when that was written and I was like, “Jeff!” And he’s like, “What? What? Samantha doesn’t want to get naked so I don’t really have to get naked,”‘ he laughed.

‘And I’m like, “That’s not what I heard. I heard Samantha wants to but you don’t want to,”‘ the actor continued before adding: ‘And he’s like, “Well no, you know, I’d….”

‘He was just stumbling on his words and I was like, “You know what? I’ve been butt naked on this show several times in front of everybody!’

The 51-year-old then gave away some set secrets and revealed that Jeffrey was pretty much fully dressed throughout the scene.

‘He ends up wearing this like flesh-coloured ballerina bottoms and these ballet bottoms,’ he quipped: ‘And not only that, then he’s got like a beige coloured diaper on top of that!’

The star ribbed his pal over the look, teasing: ‘”You chicken, get in there, rip those pants off!” But he wouldn’t do it. I think me and Michael Cudlitz are the only ones that have been naked so far on this show.’

Fans weren’t expecting the strange moment, and it seems showrunner Angela Kang wasn’t either, as she places the blame squarely on the shoulders of writer David Johnson.

‘I was like, “This is so weird. I don’t know if I can air this. You know what? We kind of have to do this”,’ she explained.

‘Alpha and Negan, obviously something has shifted in that relationship. So we’ll see in the season going forward where that takes us.’

The Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC in the US and Fox the following day in the UK.

Bill Turnbull has revealed that he ‘howls like a child’ on bad days over his cancer battle.

The former BBC Breakfast presenter discovered he has incurable prostate cancer in 2017, by which time the disease had spread to his spine, ribs, pelvis, hips and legs.

The 64-year-old tries to have ‘moments of joy’ every day despite the devastating diagnosis, but admitted the emotional toll can be crippling at times.

‘Most of the time I’m fine, but every once in a while you have a dip,’ he told the Daily Mail.

‘You have a really bad day and howl like a… I was going to say like a child, but it’s even worse than that.’

Bill, who’s been filling in for Piers Morgan on Good Morgan Britain recently, added that he ‘hates’ being on his own now because he goes into a ‘dark place’.

He said: ‘If Sesi (his wife Sarah] is there with me, it’s fine because I can lean on her. She helps me. I hate being on my own now. It gives you too much time to think and you can talk yourself into a dark place.’

The Classic FM presenter also talked about breaking the news that he has cancer to Sarah and their children Henry, 32, Will, 31, and Flora, 28.

Bill teared up as he said how ‘horrible’ it was to ‘upset’ and ‘inflict pain’ on them.

The presenter, who previously hosted BBC Breakfast from 2001 to 2016, revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis in March 2018.

He was initially told he could expect to live for 10 years.

Bill has since had nine rounds of chemotherapy and is keeping the cancer under control with hormone therapy and radium injections to target the tumours in his bones.

He told viewers and his GMB co-host Susanna Reid last week he was ‘feeling pretty good. Still getting treatment for the moment but things are going okay.’

He’s been candid about his battle with cancer, and took viewers through his journey in his documentary Bill Turnbull: Staying Alive last October.

The Channel Four doc showed him trying several cannabis derivatives to help ease his pain.
